Rob and Kristen- Falling in Love at the Movies.

So ECLIPSE was released on DVD today.
Did you run out and get your copy?
I didn't.
Oh... I have mine ordered...
But the whole 'midnight' release thing isn't my cup of tea...
Nor is going to Target on a Saturday morning.
I'm kinda lazy that way.
Yeah, I probably won't get my copy until Monday...
But I'm OK with that.
I've watched Eclipse so many times already
the only thing I'm anxiously waiting for is listening
to Robert and Kristen giggle and flirt
and have inside jokes on the commentary.
Indeed.

It's kinda weird to see how much the characters have changed
since Twilight.
Especially Jacob... Thank God.
I guess outside of looking a bit older
Bella looks pretty much the same.
But Edward.
That first Edward...
That was the picture of Rob
where I KNEW that he was going to be close to *my* Edward.
It's still my favorite, I think.

I'm kinda grateful that I read the books before the movie came out.
And that I have a version of Edward in my head...
A version that I see whenever I read his words
Whenever I imagine him in my mind.
I like that he is mine...
and I don't have to share him with anyone.
Robert does come close though...
So very close.

Yes... We actually get PAID for doing this ;)

Just thinking about the movies makes me
realize how much my Twilight obsession has waned.
Twilight was ALL consuming for me.
I saw it 3 days (out of 5x) in a row in the theater.
I couldn't stop just STARING at Rob.
I watched it online almost everyday there for a while.
I KNOW!
I mean...
I couldn't get enough of it.
When it came to buying the DVD...
I ended up with three copies.
Of course some of the blame lies at Summit's feet for
letting everyone and my grandmother have their own version.

Thinking back...
I'm sure it was the fact that Edward was going to be
someone I could now watch... instead of just imagine
that made Twilight so intoxicating for me.
That the world that Stephenie Meyer created
would actually come to life.
It was endlessly fascinating to me.
My stomach does flip-flops just remembering how I felt.

I love you, Kristen... I mean Bella!
Then came New Moon.
Yes, I was still interested
(I always will be... let's face it)
I was eager to see Edward and Bella actually share
some real intimacy...
the one real complaint I have about Twilight.
But...
After seeing it the first time in the theater
(and this time it was only 3x)
I remember driving home and thinking...
that I felt differently about this movie.
That I didn't get that flip-flop in my stomach...
that it wasn't the same.

I don't care about any wig... you always look beautiful.

And finally Eclipse.
(Damn "E" key is still broken... I should do something about that)
Eclipse.
My favorite book of the series.
Edward and Bella
Bella and Edward.
And oh yeah... Jacob.
I love this movie.
I saw it 3x in the theater
and look...
I know 3x is nothing compared to the people
who saw it a zillion times.
But 3x for me... is a lot.
There were a couple of scenes that bothered me
(Yes, the motorcycle scene was ridiculous)
It was good.
But still...

I think the bloom is off the 'rose'.
Heh.
Well... silly pun but true.
Once I knew how Edward would look onscreen...
Once I got to meet Bella
and the Cullens...
And see Forks High School...
That anticipation was gone.
The flip-flop.

And of course we have been saturated with all things Twilight
for over 2 years now...
That might have a play in my feelings.
Who knows.

Needless to say
(and of course I'm going to say it anyway)
I still love and adore Robert Pattinson.
I'm still intoxicated with him.
Maybe just not Twilight as much.
I doe no.
(inside joke)

Of course I'll marry you!!!

So in parting...
A few thoughts.

1. Enjoy the hell outta Eclipse.
I look forward to getting my copy.
But I think I might just wallow in Twilight this weekend.

2. The best part of the movies to me?

A. Edward was brought to life.

B. Rob and Kristen fell in love.

3. Outside of the Eclipse release...
News has been painfully... absent.
Now I just sit and wonder
when Rob and Kristen will make their way to London
for the holidays.
It's been a while for Rob.
You know he needs to go back there.
You know he needs to be with Kristen.
I guess we shall see what happens... and when.
:)

I love you like Rob loves Kristen...

This post is brought to you by the letter *E*

E for ECLIPSE!

E for eeeeeeeeeeeee
Everytime I try to fix my broken 'e'.
I actually thought I did it...
But that sucker keeps popping off.

E for Edward
I love a fictional character.
Seems weird to even admit that...
But I do.
A lot.
And I will be forever grateful
because Edward brought me to Robert.
And I love him... too.

" Love Begins At Tome."

Bye for now

  1. I was just thinking the same thing today Rose about where Kristen and Rob would be spending their Christmas and New Year. A trip to the UK has to be in order.

First time poster and I've gotta say been lurking for a while and I flove your blog!

  2. Hi! Roselanders!

    Rose
That is so awesome seeing the comparison of all their pics from the movies. I must agree with you about waiting on the DVD. Mine should be here Monday also. Also every day I pray I will find my Edward. Rob does such a good job portraying Edward but he is not the Edward I wait for. Twilight also led me to Rob and Kristen and what being in love should be like. I'm a fan of both of them forever now.

  3. Tome IS where the heart is Rose..you're right

6 DAYS to the EPIC Christmas event.

  4. Rose,
I too have to wait for Monday, but I have the day off and will be alone in the house uninterrupted, just how I want it.
My obsession has dwindled also. I had one of the books at my bedside at all times and used to read them in bits and pieces.
My intoxication with Rob and Kristen got all mixed up in there somewhere. I still love the romance of the books. The complete devotion to each other is what makes these characters so special.
With all the hoopla and negativism that surround Rob and Kristen, they too seem devoted to each other and what they have. Now I know they are not Edward and Bella and their relationship is not a fairy tale, but it is one hell of a romance and it has been a privilege to see it unfold. I am so impressed with what they seem to cherish, a love for their art, creativity, family ,friends, being true to themselves and most of all, each other. I wish them many, many years of happiness.

  5. I'll be Tome for Christmas
    You can count on me
    Please have snow and mistletoe
    And presents on the tree.

    Kami,

You're right just 6 days to go to our big event. What date would that be, let me count...hmmm.

  6. yes, it's hard to maintain a school girl obsession on something for two years straight, I agree! I never freaked out about a boy band or an actor- until twilight and robert formed the perfect storm!

I was obsessed in part with twilight too because my expectations were high - CH did gritty, edgey movies pre-twilight, she was indie. Rob came off like a tortured artist, and Kristen was an indie darling too. A dexter writer adapted the script! So my hopes were high - for movie that put some edge and darkness into the twilight series.

But Twilight didn't end up being "that." I loved it, but it's very kitschy in it's presentation, a fact that seems to contrast so sorely with the darkers tones both Rob and Kristen brought to the work.

So I kinda feel my love for the franchise waned when Summit didn't seem willing to give as good as Kristen and Rob seemed to be hoping for(you hear it in Rob's voice in the commentary with twilight - he's so mortified with how corny it turned out, while he took it so seriously).

I still love the movies regardless, and will buy a copy today. But yeah, sometimes I get sad that Rob and Kristen had to tone down their efforts with this franchise, instead of the franchise raising their standards to their dedicated leads.

  7. ps: a lot of people have accused Robert of "phoning in" his performances the couple last movies.

What I think people aren't grasping is that Robert's had to dumb down his performance to meet the level of the franchise to be honest. It's too incongruent seeming do all these nuanced moments where he's trying to convey all the conflicts within him while Jasper's wig isn't even on straight and Alice is leaping over school hall staircases like a cartoon character. He had to lighten up his performance.

  8. I was going to start with a regular post but something disturbing has been brought to my attention.

Someone sent an e-mail to a very dear friend of mine supposedly in my defense for a slight that NEVER happened.

It was hateful and I am completely mortified that someone would write that on my behalf.

So, if there is a lurker out there who feels the need to defend me, contact me first to see if I was even offended in the first place.

My friend didn't deserve something like that. Sending death wishes is NEVER okay, okay?

Once again, to my friend, I am sincerely sorry you got an e-mail like that.

    (HUGS)

  9. On another note, I'm waiting for my Eclipse DVD too.

It's kind of a good thing because I've been obsessing over my new phone and if I had the movie, I would be torn between two incredibly cool things.

Hope everyone who did get their DVDs, enjoy all of the special features, as well as the movie.

  11. I don't think it's the movies anymore. I think our obsession is now Rob and Kristen. I am totally obsessed with this couple. I am really looking forward to BD and then it will be over but my obsession with Rob and Kristen will most likely continue.

  12. hi ladies, how are you? and happy Hannukah! i know i spelt this wrong, forgive, was invited by a friend for dinner last night, love the Latkis, with the apple sause and sour creme, not to much the matzo balls soup, but was welcome. Now since i am a rob fan first, i always believed he got, more hate.Until i found this site on twitter called---!the hate on kristen is the worst, they prefer, rob being gay than liking kristen, they say so much mean things about her also that she is gay, and now they are wagering after the sagas rob will never, have nothing to do with kristen again! Now i pray allot but i rarely prayed for kristen, but not again, i cried, to see that we as females, could be so hateful on someone you do not even know, and i am not saying young because, i am younger than rob, but not younger than kristen,,,,i wrote them on twitter, and they said i was a traitor, and not a true fan of His Majesty, and yes that's how they addressed rob, lord i pray that K and R, stay together forever.

  13. Susan, I'm sure if your friend read that entry they would tell that everything is fine and they know you had nothing whatsover to do with it. AND if your friend were to speak to the person who sent them the e-mail they might say something like:

I know my role, now you know your's...feel free to kiss my ass..followed by: now go away you're ruining my epic buzz

I'll be Tome for Christmas too PL and I know you don't do the whole hugs thing so HIGH FIVES to you!

  14. Hi Penny, Kami, Susan, Linda, Rose and all of my other Roseland friends out there. :)

So, I apparently do not have the same resolve or patience as all of you....I was up early, my vehicle has all-wheel drive, and Target was quiet because of the 4" of snow we got overnight. I did go shovel my Mom's driveway while I was out, but now I am home curled up on the couch with my copy of Eclipse and a bowl of popcorn. I love watching movies on a snowy Saturday afternoon. :)

Hope you are all having a wonderful Day! :D

  17. Dear Rose, whenever I read your blog, I feel like you've gotten in my head and read my thoughts and wrote about them.. Thank you!

    to vangue

Totally agree.. but.. crazy people are crazy and you and I can't change that.
There are also gazillion tumblr accounts for kristen too. they prefer, her being gay with Dakota,Nikki etc than liking Robert.

Both sides are crazy. I dont think that will ever end.. I don't think that will ever change..
We just have to ignore it. We have to focus on the happy side of things..
All we need is LOVE! All that matters is Rob and Kristen are together and happy.
    I am happy..

  19. Hi, Rose!! I love those pics and the captions.

I still love everything about the Twilight Saga and I always get exicted to see the movies, but most of all I am thankful that Twilight led me to Rob and Kristen.

Can't wait to buy my Eclipse DVD and listen to the commentary again.

  22. Rose~

Great post. I ordered my DVD too, and it's supposed to come on Monday, but I'm going to order Eclipse off PPV later to watch. :)

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm just sitting relaxing for a bit eating nachos (reminds me of when Rob says nachos LOL) and drinking a slushie, but of course. :) Gonna do some more decorating in a bit, get so damned tired easily now.

It's snowy here where I live...we're to get more snow this week. Really, it's beautiful, but I can do without it...just snow around Christmas! :)

  28. Hello everyone! It's been a busy day so far, hoping to get to relax later on.

I love the Twilight Edward picture- he actually looks like a vamp to me in that one.

Bella looks the same so I'm looking forward to her going vamp in the BD promo pictures.

I wonder for BD promo pictures when it is time if they will have Reneesme included or not.

Waiting for my copy of Eclipse to arrive sometime next week. I have heard that the SM/WG commentary is better than expected. SM gives out some interesting tidbits on the "leg hitch" scene and stuff.

I guess my twilight love is slowing down. I look forward to what Rob and Kristen do outside the franchise actually.

    ReplyDelete
  29. @ Honey- you do realize that when two adults are in a relationship they actually spend time with each other's families when able. That is normal. Rob's family aren't "strangers" to Kristen. She is part of their family and vice versa.

@Susan- I am sorry that happened to you and the friend. People aren't right in the head sometimes. On another note I hope you are able to do another diary entry closer to Christmas. I wonder what kind of Christmas presents will be opened by the crazy people???

@Kami- I saw that you are going to be going to a Christmas party despite the late notice. Glad you got something out of it. I hope you have a fun time. With company parties that is always up in the air from my experience though.

Also figured out what cookie recipe I am going to post finally for our EPIC event in a few days!

Hope everyone has a great rest of the day.

  30. Honey...Robert and his family are no stranger to Kristen. Robert is very much a part of Kristen life and Kristen is very much a part of Rob's life and the sooner you accepte this the better...with acceptece comes peace.

  31. Hey Katy, Melinda, Kami and the other Roselanders – hope you are all having a good Saturday.

    Linda - how's your mother's cat doing?

Honey – I’m sure that whatever Rob and Kristen do for Christmas will be what is right for them. From what I understand, they spent Christmas apart last year, then came together for New Years. Christmas apart didn’t seem to put a crimp on their relationship.

I went out to do some Christmas shopping and to pick up Eclipse. I gave up in frustration after fighting for a parking spot and fighting the lines at the check out. Oh well, maybe I’ll nip out tonight and try again.

Have a good rest of day.

  35. I followed a link on Twitter the other day to a Kristen hater's account (someone said if anyone followed this person, she'd unfollow them)...and wow. I'm glad I stay ignorant of that kind of stupidity most of the time. This person is supposedly married and has KIDS! Yet she participates in that kind of delusional nonsense! Unbelievable. What a great role model she must be.

Anyway, I'm waiting for my DVD to arrive as well. It's been shipped, so I suppose it will arrive on Monday, which is okay with me. But it's funny -- with Twilight I was literally counting the days till the day it was released on DVD. I could hardly wait! I went out the day it was released, to Target of all places, to get my copies -- 1 regular, 1 Blu-Ray -- before I had to go to work that morning. And it's still the only DVD that I almost never truly tire of watching. I know it's not the best movie, but there's just something about it...

I'd like Eclipse a lot more if it weren't for Jacob. Taylor seems like a good kid, but Jacob? *gag* As it is, the commentary's what I'm most excited about.

I guess I'd be excited about Tome, too, if I knew what it was. :)

  37. So I neither pre ordered, or got my ass up at an unreasonable hour to go get a copy of Eclipse, but I did go to Target at lunch time and snatch a copy off the shelf.. :)

I don't have time to watch it today though!! I'm just home for a few minutes, and I've got to go back out again!!

Hope everyone is having a good day!

  38. Went to walmart bought Eclipse, can't wait to watch the commentary. I still watch Twilight, and still looove it. New Moon, not so much. I like the way Edward looked in Eclipse the best, his hair was a little coiffed in Twilight lol. He still looks hawt in them all.
Honey, your still around slinging shit I see. omg give it up already by the way nice twitter post. Hopefully they kick you off soon. Thanks Rose, enjoy Eclipse.

I have been a Kristen fan for sometime and I'm so glad Twilght lead me to Robert. What a joy to watch these two..not only as actors but as a couple. Definitely intoxicating!!

  43. Hi all!

I hope everyone is well, I am so tired from long days at work, and on top of that I received a very very bad cold my daughter shared with me. Anyway, I have to say I totally forgot about the Eclipse DVD today. I just am not consumed like I use to be. For me, MR dialog and script for all 3 of the movies have been weak at best. Eclipse had its' good moments and David S did his best with what he had, but to be honest it should have been a lot better than it was. MR changed Bella completely and I cant even get into the total Tween/Teen pandering from Summit. Anyway, I will get it, I just didn't run to get it, ya know.

  47. Everything Must Change

    Oleta Adams soars here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8tVcgxh990

    Everything must change
    Nothing stays the same
    Everyone must change
    No one stays the same

    The young become the old
    And mysteries do unfold
Cause that's the way of time
Nothing and no one goes unchanged

There are not many things in life
    You can be sure of
Except rain comes from the clouds
    Sun lights up the sky
    And hummingbirds do fly

    Winter turns to spring
    A wounded heart will heal
    But never much too soon
    Yes everything must change

    The young become the old
    And mysteries do unfold
Cause that's the way of time
Nothing and no one goes unchanged

There are not many things in life
    You can be sure of
Except rain comes from the clouds
    Sun lights up the sky
    And butterflies do fly

    Rain comes from the clouds
    Sun lights up the sky
    And music
    And music
    Makes me cry

You gave me a reason to go to the store today in the snow, and stand in the line for customer service that was 10 people deep that just happen to also go by a display of Eclipse DVDs. Even your greed and inferior product couldn’t keep me from smiling and giggling through the commentary. Worth the wait if the package is still in the mail.

Garland can still be festive without being lit right? I hope so 'cause if this strand doesn't work I'm giving up. Something the sticky thing should try.

  52. No More Tears (Enough is Enough)

    Amber & Zelma Davis/Listen here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kKDxWXLfuE

    Raining, it's pouring
My lovelife is boring me to tears, after all these years

No sunshine, no moonlight, no stardust, no sign of romance
    we don't stand a chance

I've always dreamed I found the perfect lover
But he turned out to be like every other man
    Our love, our love

    Raining (raining)
    pouring (pouring)
there's nothing left for us here
and we won't waste another tear

    If you've had enough,
don't put up with his stuff,
    don't you do it

    If you've had your fill,
get the check pay the bill,
    you can do it

Tell him to just get out
Pack his raincoat, show him out
Just look him in the eyes and simple shout

    Enough is enough
I can't go on, Enough is enough, I want him out
(I want him out that door now)

I've always dreamed I found the perfect lover
But he turned out to be like every other man
    Our love, our love..

    Enough is enough
I can't go on, Enough is enough, I want him out
(I want him out that door now)

Enough is enough, is enough, is enough...

  55. Really liked the post today Rose.
I feel that my intoxication with the whole Twilight world is now much more about the lovely relationship between Rob and Kristen, and of course, the fun, enjoyment and excitement of watching their careers. I guess it definitely is the mother, my age and also the eternal romantic in me that continually cheers them on in both love, life and work. As I said yesterday, they are such beautiful young people, both inside and out.

My favorite Rob movie is Remember Me. Somehow I am feeling that WFE will be a spectacular film for him. Also, loved him in The Bad Mother's Handbook, Little Ashes and The Haunted Airman.
For Kristen, Speak, The Yellow Handkerchief, The Runaways, and WTTR.
The Twi films however, are special because the franchise brought the two soulmates, Rob and Kristen, together, and gave them the time and place to really bond first as friends.

To be honest, one of the parts of the Twii films that I go back to the most is the music. I play all three CDs quite often. Each one is a terrific collection of great songs and I have been introduced to many bands that I had not been familiar with before. I hope that Eclipse does win a Grammy.

Have dinner warming up and will be watching Eclipse later tonight.

For the persistent little sad one who always wants it to rain on the parade ( which is really a mean thing to wish), here is a little song:

  56. Hi Rose, it has been days since my previous comment. It's a shame that @Honey seems to be more persistent than me, lol~

I havn't bought Eclipse DVD yet. I will wait after TYH and WTTR come out and order them online at once. I'm not a big Twi fan so I can wait.

To me, the best things about Twilight are:
    1. I've discovered an amazing actress Kristen Stewart.
    2. Kristen has found Rob, who loves her so much.

Finally, Rose I love you like Rob loves Kristen too~ Bye~

  57. I know that we are advised to sometimes suspend our belief. Suspend our belief when we are watching movies, or plays or even when we don't believe something is true.

Here I am, suspending my belief. Truly, is everyone watching Eclipse and other Twilight movies tonight? Must be, for no one has posted since 7:44 pm Saturday.

OK, that's fine but here I am. Am I all alone? Any late night folk hanging/lurking/reading? Say hello.

Meanwhile, I'll have to say I love you in some songs....

I am truly trying to post a cartoon photo of myself, for child abuse awareness, on FB but my photo files are being difficult. Or rather I admit, I am somewhat stupid.

Let me work on it and hopefully I will have it posted in lieu of my real self pic later today.

Hope you are well, little Manila ninja!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpxbWoDhVxw&feature=related

    I must admit
    I can't explain
Any of these thoughts racing through my brain, it's true
    Baby I'm howling for you

    There's something wrong
    With this plot
The actors here have not got a clue
    Baby I'm howling for you

    Da-da-dat-da

    Mocking bird
    Can't you see?
Little girl's got a hold on me like glue
    Baby I'm howling for you

    Throw the ball
    To the stick
Swing and miss and a catchers mitt strike two
    Baby I'm howling for you

    David Bowie surprises/listen here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cSAKlu0OlU

Love me, love me, love me, love me, say you do
Let me fly away with you
For my love is like the wind, and Wild is the wind

Give me more than one caress, satisfy this hungriness
Let the wind blow through your heart
For wild is the wind, wild is the wind

You touch me, I hear the sound of mandolins
    You kiss me
With your kiss my life begins

You're spring to me, all things to me
Don't you know, you're life itself!

Like the leaf clings to the tree,
Oh, my darling, cling to me
For we're like creatures of the wind, wild is the wind
    Wild is the wind

Like the leaf clings to the tree,
Oh, my darling, cling to me
For we're like creatures in the wind, and wild is the wind
    Wild is the wind

  68. Good Morning Roseland!

DK, Thanks for the kind words. I did your little musical tour. I really like the Black Keys! It was awfully quiet in here yesterday. I am sure most people here went to bed with visions of sugarplums, Edward and Bella dancing in their heads. Talk to you later, Oh Queen of the Night!

    Louisa,

Sorry I missed you. Can you believe this... my 15 yo daughter went out and shoveled without being asked!!! Hmmmm, what does she want? Hope to see you on here later.

  74. Good morning ROSE and ROSELANDERS...On the way home from Orlando in the rain..the weather was perfect on fri/sat sunny 70...we went to Epcot and the Universal Studios Saturday...saw the new Harry Potter section...just like the movie..the shops where you can pick out your own wand etc..one shop was named TOMES AND SCROLLS..heh.There were so many people we had to wait 1.5 hrs in line to get on the ride in Hogwarts castle...it was worth the wait...talking pictures on the wall..great ride ...felt like you were soaring through the air..fantastic...about TWILIGHT... I still watch it about once a week...there is nothing that beats Edward walking into that cafeteria...nothing...but NEW MOON...had such a different feel to it..I was totally mesmerized by it...the opening scene where Edward walks to meet her in the dream meadow...I don't know why but that got me ....with Eclipse...I must confess...I felt cheated somehow...I think the scenes were so "compressed" that I felt it compromised the final result.

I've been an online shopping fool today. It's snowing and I can do it all without venturing out. I love the internet

Are you going to join our epic cookie event?

    Louisa,

I know you asked Kami, but, yes, you are free to join in as well. By all means, do.

  88. Penny,

I too LOVE to do my shopping on the internet. The only problem is that sometimes to find the specific toys my little one wants I have to actually make a trip to *shudders* Toys R Us. That store is hell on earth.

  89. Hey Penny! can't beat a bit of online shopping :-)

  92. Liza,

I don't see why it has to be just one day, so if you want to join in just post on another later day. That's the beauty of the virtualness of it. And, that way the epicness will continue like the 12 days of Christmas.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Louisa, of course you're invited..we've got a special place all picked out for you where you can sit!

Ok to get us all in the mood..

  97. @Penny Lane: was looking at Love Actually just yesterday...such a sweet movie.

I watched the Twilight trilogy last night, and then "Eat, Pray, Love". I watched Twilight as if for the first time last night...Rob had so much intensity in Twilight, and I have to say it was CH who got the best performance, and the essence of Edward. Someone mentioned phoning in his performance in the other movies, I have to say the directors were not Edward-friendly in NM and Eclipse.

Anyway, love the post Rose, and, of course, drool worthly pics! ;-) Happy Sunday everyone from Los Angeles, California!

    ReplyDelete
  98. Louisa, that's ok if you're busy ATM....the epicness of the event will not begin until Midnight Central Standard time on 10.12.10...If you can make it...great...if not that's cool too

  99. I'm new here, been following for a while... Finally go the nerve to post. Ok, so I was just staring at the pictures from each movie and I started tearing up looking at Kristen. She is so beautiful and to see her transformation over the years is amazing. In the Twilight photo she looks so innocent, so young, and then New Moon and Eclipse... you see her getting more mature. I can only imagine what Rob feels when he looks at pictures like these and sees the one he loves transform from a girl into a woman. It makes me smile inside and out.Oh and it also makes me want to twirl, but only with permission. The twirl is all yours Rose!

sorry im just dropping by today. Its been a busy week for me with the holiday season. So many events and parties to attend to. Maybe I'll check here from time to time.

Have a wonderful week for all you Roselanders.

  102. I saw "tome" mentioned in another blog recently, it made me laugh out loud!

I went through my Twilight crazies for awhile, a day didn't go by for about a year where I didn't watch, read, or listen to something from the movie, Rob being my favorite part.

As soon as I saw the two of them in real life, I knew I was going to root for them to ge together. There's just that something special!

I have my DVD, got it tonight at Target, no lines, easy! Watching the "Jump to Edward" feature - gotta love that!!!

  104. Happy Monday to all of my Roseland friends - hope you all have a wonderful day! :)

(I know "Happy Monday" is an oxymoron...work with me, okay?)

Liza - I am doing just fine, thanks. I hope that what ever is going to keep you completely out of Roseland on 10.12.10 is your very own fabulous EPICNESS! :) Please post something when you can anyway?

Leigh - HI! Sorry I missed you and I hope you are doing well and getting settled in. :)

jen and shoegal2547 - I am certain that you are both Twilight, Rob, and Kristen fans as I've seen you both post positive things about them. We obviously all have our own opinions on many topics and discuss them here in Roseland. But, is it really necessary to point out someone elses second-hand negative opinion in Roseland when no one here is discussing it, referring to it or appears to be of that opinion, including yourselves? We all see the negative things that "they" are talking about out there....Please don't bring up their snide comments in Roseland too. I'm sorry that sounds really bitchy, and I'm not trying to be. Maybe I am overstepping my role as a poster here in Rose's blog, and for that I am sorry.

  105. Morning Roseland!

So here in Texas, for the exception of the panhandle and maybe the west, it never usually gets very cold. Texas is hot, ALL the time. So when it gets to 32 degrees, we (or just me?) freak out a little bit. In plain language, I froze my fkn ass off last night! Definitely wish I was brave enough to get up, and turn on the heater..

Yes, Northerners you may laugh. I know people from the south are pitiful when it comes to the cold.

So anyways, sorry for the many adventures of Teeth!

Have a good day everyone, I kinda like the cold!

    ReplyDelete
  106. Teeth - It's -7C here currently so no sympathy from me!! lol

  107. Good Morning!

Kay, is there anything not moronic about Monday? lol Got to work with what we got right?

Happy to report that my “value engineered” (Olivia’s PC term for POS :) was fixed by my hubs and one of his geeky toys. Sometimes being married to a man who understands 1s & 0s as a language has its advantages.

Time now to prepare for the EPIC 12th event! Are there rules for this or are we free falling? And Liza, are you avoiding sharing the spotted dick? You know sharing is caring ;)

    Missing friends...

    Have a great week everyone!

    Cate

    ReplyDelete
  108. Angelica,
Wow that is really cold for you guys isn't it? I'm currently at 25which would be -4 C but that is pretty normal for us for this time of year, and it has been snowing for the last 3 days.

    Cate,

The epic is the 10th, not the 12th but that is just the day it starts so if anyone isn't available that day you can certainly still contribute. I don't know about rules, just has to be edible I guess.

  109. Morning Penny! It is quite cold for us at this time of year, we normally only get temperatures this low in January. At least it's stopped snowing for the time being though :)

  110. Happy Monday Everyone!

Ok, peeps....don't hate on me, but I just saw Eclipse for the first time this weekend on Directtv....lol! What can I say....I live an hour away from a theater. I even got my 18 yr old son to watch it with me (it's amazing how acquiescent a teenager is when they've recently been in trouble;) ). So, halfway through, he says, 'These two (R/K) are really good, but that other kid notsomuch.' I looked at him and said, 'HA! You're totes team Edward!'...at which point, he looked at me like I was crazy and said, 'That did it! I'm out! Peace.', and went to bed...lol!

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great weekend, and that everyone has a lovely Monday!

    ReplyDelete
  111. Penny,

Thank God Friday is only the 10th! I was panicking that there were only 13 days till Christmas come Friday! Right now I can barely keep track of the day of the week let alone the number of it.

Thanks for giving me two more days!

Monday bonus: Working off site and mobile broadband are a win!

Maybe this particular Monday won’t be so manically moronic after all…
