Rob and Kristen- Dancing the Night Away

Yeah.
The whole running aimlessly in circles has got to be tiring.
But yet they continue... on and on.

This weekend was amusingly tedious.
Not sure if that makes sense or not...
but that best describes the bullshit.

"Rob is in LA... Kristen is NOT with him"
(this one is particularly amusing)

"Rob is at the WFE screening without Kristen
I know this for a FACT."

"Oh shit, Kristen is seen at LAX"

"Damn. Kristen IS in LA"

"Rob and Kristen were seen at a Vet's office"

"Rob and Kristen were dancing and kissing at a party"

"Rob doesn't dance"

"Pics or it didn't happen."

"Rob will show up at the Oscars with his parents!"

"Rob took his parents to the WFE screening!"

"I have friends in the industry!"

"Kristen is back at LAX"

"Kristen is back in Vancouver because
she wasn't invited to the Oscars!"

"OK. Kristen obviously was in LA...
so...
wait...
ROB WAS NEVER THERE!
Yeah.
That's the ticket!
Pics or it didn't happen!!"

So... yeah.
Tedious.

People were adamant that Rob was in L.A.
WITHOUT Kristen...
So when she shows up in L.A.?
Of course Rob was never there.

I'm guessing that the sightings at the party were true...
(It's just my hypothetical opinion after all)
They got to hang out at a place where they wouldn't stand out
(well, they always stand out, but less so with other celebs)
They got to enjoy themselves...
And just be Rob and Kristen.

Did Rob get out of LA before Kristen... or after?
Well...
Look how much easier it is for them to travel
when one is without the other.
This time it was Kristen walking thru the airport.
She almost makes it look leisurely...
Makes sense to me.

Had to throw a pic of Tom in... of course.

Although I am starting to seriously wonder how old that hat is.
Because he's been wearing it pretty steadily for quite some time.
He does occasionally put on the beanie
(which I think he looks adorable wearing)
But this hat...
I'm starting to worry.
And what's with that black cord thing...
stretched across the front?
The hat NEVER looks any different.
It's like the hat of Dorian Gray.
Tom has been wearing this for years
and it doesn't age.
There's a picture of it somewhere in his flat...
It's like all falling apart and torn
the black cord dangling sadly
The word "NIKE" is no longer legible
It's all dirty and crumpled.

Heh.
Oh yes.
I LOVE that hat.

Just a picture of Rob and Kristen dancing.
Fast forward a few years...
Change the music.
Change the clothes.
Change the location.
But the look in their eyes
That remains the same.
;)

  1. NOW, I know where Rob is. I was wondering. We were ALL really hoping that somehow he'd be involved in the Twilight Oscar surprise, wrong!!!

So true, Rose, everything you say is exactly what I'm feeling about these two. I'd still love to know the story behind her splint.

  2. Where else would they be but together? They are ALWAYS together.

  3. Thanks for the nice post, Rose. I hope you had a great birthday weekend! :)

    Have an awesome day, Roseland!

  4. Rose, hope you had a nice bithday weekend.
I used to read sites that carried all this speculation. I am content to just know that they are together and to get an occasional glimpse. I don't have that uncertainty that made me want to seek out everything written about them. I'm content with what I believe to be true. Which is why I come here, you are logical.
I love the chemistry they had in that last scene of Twilight!

  5. Well, start of another week, Mondays suck; but this post brought a smile to my face, very cute!

Kristen looked pleasantly exhausted in the airport pix, that's a sign of a nice, fun-filled weekend!
I'm happy her and Rob got to go out and have some fun without a bunch of crazy intrusion.

Nice pix used as always Rose!

Hope everyone has a great day! Back to work now for me.

  6. Nice post. Glad R/K are back in Vancouver safe and sound. All the foam surrounding them being in LA over the weekend is amusing to me. Why does it matter where they were?

Birdie- I too love that final scene from Twilight. Catherine really got it right, there.

  7. omg, people are so lame. lol

I love the excuses too that I saw: "Rob doesn't dance!" "Kristen doesn't wear dresses!"

Um.. Does Rob dance in public? No. But the party was at the Chateau Marmont, a pretty exclusive gathering with other industry peers who aren't going to ask him for autographs.

Why do people think he doesn't dance under such circumstances? Who says Krsiten can't figure out a dress code on her own?

I believe the account too, which is basically they were at a party, they danced, they acted like a couple.

God, you would think the report said they were having intercourse on the dance floor, the way people are going on about it!

  8. Thank you Rose.
Birdie said it in a nutshell:
when I read your site, I am at peace about Rob and Kristen.
The Oscar Eclipse musical segment with Rob rapping was cool; it sort of followed Rob and Kristen's Eclipse DVD commentary.

  10. Hi, Rose!!

I can picture in my mind Robert and Kristen...dancing...SO cute, just being Rob and Kristen, having fun and letting loose on the dance floor dancing to the sound of Empire State of Mind...love that image. :)

Hi, everyone!! hope you are all having a great day.

  12. Ah jeez. I wish everytime one of the nonstens bellows "Pics or it didn't happen" they would lose a tooth or a fingernail or something or even better, they'd be forced into psychiatric treatment.

Maybe then they wouldn't rely on that ridiculous and tired--not to mention hypocritical--phrase because when there are pictures they trot out other tired old props like "PR" or whatever. They obviously can't separate reality from fiction.

  13. Hello Roselandians! I'm still recovering from that EPIC Twilight Oscar moment. Seriously, the reaction to it on twitter was worth the lameness. There are some HILARIOUS people in this fandom!

Lovely Kristen at the airport pics. I'm sure her bodyguard was right there, but when she's walking around in public she looks so vulnerable to me. I just want to go walk beside her and give dirty looks to anyone who approaches. Maybe flip a few birds at paps for good measure. Wouldn't that be fun?

  16. Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all doing well.

Yes, I suppose the internet was a buzz with speculation, rationalizations and denial over the weekend. If, as you hypothesize, Rob and Kristen were at that party, I hope they had a really great time kicking back. It’s nice to think they could relax and “just be Rob and Kristen” – as you said Rose.

Like others, I love that picture of Bella and Edward dancing. I particularly liked it when Rob (as Edward) lifted Kristen (as Bella) on to his toes. He held her so tightly and the kiss at the end was wonderfully passionate. I agree, Birdie, it smoldered with their great chemistry. I’m hoping for similar intimate moments in Breaking Dawn.

Hi there dottie, Katy, Melinda, Hope, Groovie, Birdie, Kay, Sydney and everyone else in Roseland. Rhonda and DK – thanks for the welcome back. Have a good day everyone.

  21. I watched the Oscars and was totally disappointed. Reading about Rob and Kristen dancing the night away makes me smile, it just sounds like two people in love out having fun. I read somewhere that Kristen attended the viewing of WFE with Rob and his folks--don't know if it is true, but I would bet money she was there. I think Robsten had a good weekend, even though there are no pictures, and I am laughing my head off. Have a good evening Rose and all Roselanders---I hope your birthday weekend was wonderful Rose, did you dance the night away also?

  22. Hi Rose,

They constantly run in circles and yet, it doesn't change a thing. Rob and Kristen are still together :) It's time to stop fighting the obvious.

I hope they were at that party..I like the thought of it :)

  24. Hello, everyone! It's been a long day for me, running around, and I haven't even stopped by to say hello.

    @Birdie
Yes, I am thrilled that Colin Firth won for Best Actor, and that The King's Speech did for best movie. I was watching on the internet but lost the livestreaming feed, so I found out later. Happy day!

Reese looked very lovely and of course, the gowns were sensational, IMO.

Was just over at the WFE website watching the Tai the elephant video, which is very fascinating. Here's the link:

Also, got a peek at the VF cover with Rob and the alligator and am thinking it's "DY-NA-MITE"! Here's a link to RPLife where I saw it:

Have you seen her? So fine and pretty
Moving with a style and ease
And I feel her from across the room
Yes, it's love in the third degree

    Ooh, baby, baby
Won't you turn your head my way?
    Ooh, baby, baby
Now come on, take a chance, you're old enough to
    Dance the night away
(Come on baby and) Dance the night away

A live wire, barely a beginner
But just watch that lady go
She's on fire 'cause dancing gets her higher
    Than anything else she knows

    Ooh, baby, baby
Won't you turn your head my way?
    Ooh, baby, baby
Well don't skip romance, 'cause you're old enough to
    Dance the night away
(Whoa oh oh, come on baby and) Dance the night away

    (Ohh ohh-oh-oh oh yeah)

Dance the night away (Hey, hey, yeah!)
Dance, dance, dance the night away
(Ah come on baby) Dance the night away (Hey, hey yeah!)

Dance, dance, dance the night away
    (Uh, come on baby, baby)
Dance the night away (Ooh, ooh, yeah)

When you're in love with a beautiful woman it's hard
When you're in love with a beautiful woman you know its hard

'Cause everybody wants her, everybody loves her
Everybody wants to take your baby home

When you're in love with a beautiful woman you watch your friends

When you're in love with a beautiful woman it never ends
You know that is crazy and you wanna trust her
Then somebody hangs up when you answer the phone

When you're in love with a beautiful woman you go it alone
Maybe it's just an ego problem, problem is that I've been fooled before

By fair-weather friends and faint hearted lovers
And every time it happens it just convinces me more

When you're in love with a beautiful woman you watch her eyes
When you're in love with a beautiful woman you look for lies

'Cause everybody tempts her everybody tells her
She's the most beautiful woman they know

When you're in love with a beautiful woman you go it alone

    Together

    Together

    Together, wherever,
    Together, wherever we go.

    We go in a group,
    We tour in a troupe.
We land in the soup, but we know

    (Just A Song At Twilight)

    Deanna Durbin:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7D1j7ZJJak

Once in the dear dead days beyond recall
When on the world the mists began to fall

Out of the dreams that rose in happy throng
Low to our hearts love sung an old sweet song .

And in the dusk where fell the firelight gleam
Softly it wove itself into our dream

Just a song at twilight, when the lights are low
And the flick'ring shadows softly come and go

Though the heart be weary sad the day and long ,
Still to us at twilight comes love's old song
    Comes love's own sweet song

Even today we hear love's song of yore
Deep in our hearts it dwells for evermore

Footsteps may falter, weary grow the way
Still we can hear it at the close of day

So till the end, when life's dim shadows fall
Love will be found the sweetest song of all

Just a song at twilight, when the lights are low
And the flick'ring shadows softly come and go

Though the heart be weary sad the day and long
    Still to us at twilight
    Comes love's old song
    Comes love's own sweet song

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k348ymy9Sp4

It is the fire that lights itself
But it burns with a restless flame
The arrow on a moving target
The archer must be sure of his aim

It is the engine that drives itself
But it chooses the uphill climb
    A bearing on magnetic north
Growing farther away all the time

    Can't stop moving
    Can't stop moving
    Can't stop...

    You may be right
It's all a waste of time
I guess that's just a chance I'm prepared to take
A danger I'm prepared to face
    Cut to the chase

It is the rocket that ignites itself
And launches its way to the stars
A driver on a busy freeway
    Racing the oblivious cars

It's the motor of the western world
    Spinning off to every extreme
    Pure as a lover's desire
    Evil as a murderer's dream

Young enough not to care too much
About the way things used to be
I'm young enough to remember the future
The past has no claim on me

I'm old enough not to care too much
About what you think of me
But I'm young enough to remember the future
And the way things ought to be

    Cut
    Cut...

    Cut to the chase
    You may be right
It's all a waste of time
I guess that's just a chance I'm prepared to take
A danger I'm prepared to face

    Cut to the chase

Get stuck in a ditch way out in the middle of nowhere

Or get yourself in a bind
Lose the shirt off your back
Need a floor, need a couch, need a bus fare

This is where the rubber meets the road
This is where the cream is gonna rise
This is what you really didn't know
This is where the truth don't lie

You find out who your friends are
    Somebody's gonna drop everything
Run out and crank up their car
Hit the gas, get there fast

Never stop to think "what's in it for me?"
    Or "it's way too far"
They just show on up with their big old heart
You find out who your friends are

Everybody wants to slap your back
    wants to shake your hand
When you're up on top of that mountain

But let one of those rocks give way
    Then you slide back down
Look up and see who's around then

This ain't where the road comes to an end
This ain't where the bandwagon stops
This is just one of those times when
A lot of folks jump off

    When the water's high
When the weather's not so fair
    When the well runs dry
    Who's gonna be there?

You find out who your friends are
    (yeah, yeah)
You find out who your friends are

Run your car off the side of the road
Get stuck in a ditch way out in the middle of nowhere

And, I've started acquiring things in anticipation of my move to other digs, like a rolling portable hamper, surely that is very necessary, since I've never had one before?

One has to take their laundry everywhere with them or like Rob hinted, have it shipped home for safekeeping and washing.

There is something so special about your father's generation (and my father's it would be, too); a sense of purpose, of being useful that I greatly admire.

You've got the goods in ya, too!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I have never had a facial. Worth getting? But I do have a rolling hamper and highly recommend it. Haha!

    ReplyDelete
  53. @Birdie
See, see! I am actually practical, oh, god, I'm so happy.

Facials are lovely, and they get rid of lots of dry, flaky skin, blackheads and leave you soft and dewy, too. Not that I have any need of one, he, he.

Also, you can relax while being treated so well, like a star. They even tweeze hairs off of, well, your FACE!

    ReplyDelete
  54. @Birdie
Wonder if I could be even more practical and use the rolling hamper as a roll-on carry on, when I fly?

It is pink, so it would not look like a hamper, would it?

On the way home, the clothes would truly be dirty and need laundering, a double win, don't you think?

    ReplyDelete
  55. I may have to treat myself to one of those. I could use a bit of pampering in my life and you sure aren't going to get it from 2 teenage girls!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Will the hamper fit in the little container they use to see if it qualifies as carry-on? Would your fellow passengers object to your dirty laundry spilling out from the overhead luggage area? These are things to think through before it qualifies as practical.

    ReplyDelete
  57. @Birdie
Please do it for yourself, because only you can prevent forest fires!

If/when your Irish temper flares, while dealing with those lovely teenagers, you'll remember how lovely and relaxed you were when you had one.

Thus, you'll not burst into flames or cause any fires, and you know, I know, what I'm saying. I'm Irish, too, but you've got a majority on me.

Massage is also fab,and they usually do some face, shoulder and neck massaging in a facial session, too.

    Sold, yet?

    ReplyDelete
  58. SOLD! Maybe I'll give it to myself for St. Paddy's Day in honor of my Irish heritage and in prevention of forest fires. Haha, very true!

  59. @Birdie
I'd have to measure the little, practical, roll-on, pink beauty to see if it meets the airline specs.

My fellow (if they are male) passengers, would not mind seeing lacy, frilly, lovely pieces of my wardrobe, if they fell out, do you think? They would not know clean or dirty, for they are guys, ya know.

Now, the ladies on board, they would be wise to it, and I'd have to blame a fictional male in my life (maybe I'll have one soon for real) for packing my dirty clothes by mistake, lol.

Oh, and I got a hang over the door shoe rack, that I haven't put together yet, since I can't find the household hammer.

Maybe I'll pack it back up and just take it along to the new place instead.

Hammers often seem to get lost in my places, but I will find it again, when I'm packing or unpacking, right? Makes total sense.

Plus I can take down the pink Christmas tree now, which I was going to decorate for St. Patty's Day (still might). It can be packed up for the move, too.

Life is getting better by the minute, as I come up with so many practical things to do, all at once, whenever I get to them.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Have you found any prospects for you move?

    ReplyDelete
  61. @Birdie
I have a delightful prospect in mind.

One place, where I've wanted to live since I was 18, is right on the lake, next to a park, with its own 2.5 acre park, 2 pools, health club, restaurant, grocery store, fitness club and large apts.

Might have to sell my soul (no one wants the bod) to live there, but there is a chance, I might even take on some work (who'd a thunk it?), to do it for a year or so.

That dream may fade but I'll weave it fast and furious, while waving the magic wand, and see if the universe is in accord, and grants it accordingly.

    ReplyDelete
  62. That sounds wonderful! The only thing it is missing is your local pub(with interesting characters),then you would never have to leave home. I say go for it.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Birdie
The restaurant is on the top of the bldg. and has a BAR!

If I am lucky and get to know some of the neighbors, then we will create pub spaces in each of our places, and visit them like in Ireland, and the UK, kicking each other out around 11pm, to be authentically pub-like.

Wouldn't that be a fun party theme, a Pub Walk in your own home?

    Word verf: "flu cce" "flucce"

(No, I will not have to be a flucce to afford a lovely new abode!) Don't be alarmed, Birdie.

  64. @Birdie
By the way, you will have a standing invitation to visit and stay with me, if I get to live in that paradise by the Lake.

And so will some others, who are special in my life (always wanted to be able to write this) and you know who you are! (R & K, you, too)

  65. You sound like you have it all worked out and it would be ideal. I hope it is a dream come true for the Dreamer.

    ReplyDelete
  66. And, you, too, Tom, almost forgot to make that clear, la, la, la.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Do they have a resident masseuse in that health club(of your caliber)? If you had to work you would again not have to leave home?

    ReplyDelete
  68. @Birdie
I have nada worked out, my sweets, for it is out of my hands in many ways. Yet, I dream a little dream, and weave a little tale, and wait for the signs, which are actually, appearing bit by bit.

It is so enjoyable to be here with you, Birdie. Still, I'm getting a little punchy, without any of the delicious punch, and need to take my rest.

Hoping to be back again with you.

    Happy trails!

    DK

  69. @Birdie
I've thought of that, but the passion for doing it, is gone, (except for you, R & K, the only exceptions).

Been thinking about doing some leasing, and getting my license to do so. I love to help people find their hearts delight, abode-wise.

Again, waiting for the inspiration and direction to materialize.

  76. Hi Ladies!

I hope all is well. So, who here saw and read Robs VF interview? Well I did. And too be honest the hole feel of the interview the hole feel of the pics. I was not feeling any of it.

The interview to me made me upset for Rob, upset for Kristen, upset that he is a bit lost. And that Rob there in that interview, Is not the Rob from 2 years ago, or even 1 year ago. Really at this point, people need too start treating Rob as a PERSON and not a piece of meat for there entertainment. IMO and I dont know Rob of course, but he hates this he hates living in this cocoon. I dont know if this interview was done on purpose this way or what the deal really is, but that's how it came off too me at least.Edited bad maybe? I dont know. But the life he has right now even with the money and the fans I dont think he wants it.And it amazes me that more "fans" cant see how obviously unhappy he is with it ALL. I read comments on the article. There all like WOW hes hot.. wow the alligator.. bla bla bla.. did they not read his words? Or again is he just a piece of meat for most?

Oh and I did a big boo boo again. I went too Teds board too read a "article". Dumb I know, the comments. Just fucken WOW. People were actually looking at airplane manifests too see when how Rob and Kristen flew this weekend. REALLY people. Really? WHO does that? Who the hell can blame Rob and Kristen for hating the way they have too live? For hating US?

I am sorry for not being all happy and bubbly. I say how I feel, And for some reason as most here I care for Rob and Kristen. I want them too be safe, and be OK with it all. Maybe I am guilty too for feeding there hell.

  78. THIS right here..

Meanwhile, Pattinson worries about the effects of massive fame on his psyche. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me… my brain doesn’t work anymore. I haven’t any memory. I can’t write. All I can do is sign my name,” he laments.

    Breaks my heart sweet Robert.

    ReplyDelete
  79. @30... I read it and felt the same exact way you did. It broke my heart. I don't care how much money you make - what's the point if you can't enjoy your life and have an ounce of freedom? I'm sure the interviewer took some creative license, but Rob's quotes & the descriptions by Reese & others on set regarding the madness surrounding him... it made me sad. People go too far. No wonder they want to keep their relationship quiet. What other control do they have over their privacy? It seems less than I thought... which wasn't much to begin with.
