and IT as fast as he can. Anyone with 1/2 a brain can see that Rob is done with her.

WOW! I have only been reading your blog for a few months now and it just keeps getting better. It never seems to amaze me how many haters there are. I guess I will never understand it. Its sad how people can hate and hate someone they don't even know.

Since Rose mentioned the constant mentioning of the Exit Strategy I thought I'd share something I recently read.

This person was in a conversation with a vocal nonnie and they were discussing whether they might be on the wrong side. The vocal one said she really didn't know anymore but she hasn't seen any irrefutable evidence as of yet to fully change her mind. Dissension in the ranks I'm thinking.

ReplyDeleteHi 30...you asked earlier about anyone seeing RRH, well, K, her BFF and her mom saw it and said it was okay. My daughter was filled with great anticipation to see this, so she was disappointed.
I told the mom( my friend) that Shiloh was in the final running for Edward and she was shocked!! She said NO WAY, then she added that the leads had NO chemistry. They all agreed the filming reminded them of Twilight too...oh, and it looked like they used the same wolves too. LOL

Just had an earthquake here - actually a tremor - second one in a year for Ottawa. Weird.
I'm sorry Smitty, but I absolutely love the posts when Rose shares her emails and all the nonsense she receives. It is so damn funny to me that these people are so threatened by Rose and her WORDS. ReplyDeleteRose, you get interesting e-mail. I continue to wonder if these people really believe what they are writing or are just doing it to try and stir the pot and be hateful. If the former, then their intelligence is really in doubt. If the latter, then their characters are truly in question. Either way, they lose.
Aside from the questionable humour in the e-mails Rose posted, there hasn’t been too much to laugh about these days, given the horrific events in Japan and unrest in other parts of the world. Not to diminish the gravity of these events, I thought I would share this small joke. The following crossed my desk this morning, and I thought of our resident teacher, IB….
“This is a true story, proving how fascinating the mind of a six year old is.
They think so logically.
A teacher was reading the story of the Three Little Pigs to her class.
She came to the part of the story where first pig was trying to gather the building materials for his home.
She read. 'And so the pig went up to the man with the wheelbarrow full of straw and said: 'Pardon me sir, but may I have some of that straw to build my house?'
The teacher paused then asked the class: 'And what do you think the man said?'
One little boy raised his hand and said very matter-of-factly...”

Oh Penny, I'm happy you're in the dark about T_n_B. Just a nonnie who pretends to be several people fighting over a keyboard, but you KNOW is just one sad, solitary character alone in her mother's basement. She is the homebase, when nonnies start to lose their way and question how this has anything to do with PR...T_n_B always has an excuse at the ready. Of course, she is always a little late to the party in her tweets, which makes the hyenas even more desperate for reassurance. Finally once she has come up with an excuse, she will come onto twitter and quiet the masses.

Today...with the fan pictures of Rob and Kristen at the movie theater...she claims this is SO obviously Summit doing damage control because some stalkerazzi said Rob and Kristen won't pose with fans. So Summit stepped in and MADE them go to a Catherine Hardwicke film and then afterwards pose with fans. Apparently RRH being a Warner Bros. film has nothing to do with it...Summit is that far reaching that they provide PR for movies and companies other than their own.
See? You don't wanna know!

That said, the fact that part of the filming was "outsourced" and that a few Vancouver stalkerazzi have demonstrated their stupidity, doesn't make all "Canadians ungrateful". As she turns back, there standing next to her is a salesman. "Good day Ma'am, how may we help you today?"
Very uncomfortably she asks, "How much does this rug cost?"
He answers, "Lady if you farted just touching it, you're gonna crap your pants when you hear what the price is."
Reading those hateful e-mails, reading how Kristen is getting trashed and insulted, I just want one thing - to look into face of one those girls. Who they are? What they are? Where from this hate is coming? Were they abused? What kristen EXACTLY did to them to secure this hate? The only feeling I have - bewilderment...

It's insane how much hatred can be thrown at celebrities for nothing other than dating a male celebrity that's desirable at the moment. Back in his Cedric days, Robert probably didn't have these types of fans and he was more than likely a happier person. What's this world come to when you have girls/women threatening a person (celebrity or not) because of who they date? I read about Selena Gomez's death threats because she is dating Justin Beiber. I mean really? How does that work? Make sure the boy/man is all alone because crazy fans push away all of the people that get close to them by threatening them? People that live in those delusional lives need to seek therapy because there is certainly something wrong with the way they think. No one owns these people, not even the studios! I'm sick of hearing about what fans are entitled to and how they pay them. NO, studios pay them for their work. Endorsement companies pay them for their work and because you are a fan and are willing to see their work doesn't give you the rights to their souls! Good grief people grow up and live life instead of clinging to the hope that this person might one day see you from across screaming fans and take you in their arms and hold you forever. It's delusional at best and scary crazy at worst.

She did get some rich old guy to give her a diamond ring in the nursing home though.
My friend's 94 year old great grandmother was rushed to hospital with confusion and slurred speech, they suspected a stroke. It turned out that she'd been out all afternoon with her secret toyboy,he was 77 and they'd polished off a bottle of brandy between them.

ReplyDeleteI have never had to clarify a comment before, but it seems as there was a lot of over reaction on this one.
First of all I made it clear I was referring to Rose's blog yesterday, about the fans in Canada upset cuz they were hanging around for hours waiting to get a glimpse of R/K and they were whisked away.
Last night R/K went to a movie, hoping to relax.
I read the tweet where this girl says, my friend works at the theatre and saw them, she called me and told me to come down and see if I could get a picture...
Another tweet said there's a mob of high school girls chasing R/K..
R/K did all they could , surrender..with no car to be had.
I live in a state where we give studios tax incentives to film in our state, instead of sending the work elsewhere...so I know how many millions are pumped into the economy as a result of this..more and more states are following suit, so that is very good news...they hire local, painters, carpenters, caterers etc.
Many movies have been filmed here--Transformers, Terminator, Brothers, Crazy Heart, True Grit..Robert Downing Jr, and Scarlett Johansson will be in town soon to film The Avengers.
I have a friend who retired from the police force who works security
and sometimes he is an extra, he loves his job...
When I said Canadians,(it was in reference to the fans Rose mentioned)I never used the word ALL, that would be stupid as I don't know all Canadians...and I did not mean All.
Rob is suppose to come here and film Unbound Captives if it ever gets made...do I expect Rob to come kiss my feet b4 he goes home everyday, cuz after all I went to see Eclipse at the theatre, and he owes me...of course not, I would just be glad he was filming here...

Also, am still reading The Pillars of the Earth, which is so very long but so very good. Since I only have about 200 more pages to go ( out of 900+), I have borrowed the DVD miniseries from a friend and have viewed the first three (out of eight) hours.
( I will be good and not view ahead of the chapters left in the book.) It is beautifully done and the screenplay has been very well adapted from the novel. I was delighted to find that the part of Jack is played by Eddie Redmayne, and he is perfect for the role. He has an otherworldly handsomeness and is a masterful actor. The entire cast is exceptional. For those of you who enjoyed The Yellow Handkerchief with Kristen and Eddie, you may wish to see him in this series about the building of a cathedral during the Dark Ages in England.
Just a bit of distraction while waiting for the WFE interviews with Rob tonight!

ReplyDeleteI did see RRH the other day. CH did a beautiful job with set design, color, and camera work. Julie Christie was as beautiful as always. (Am showing my age because I always think of her in Doctor Zhivago.)
Good job with the intrigue as to who was the wolf. Lots of false leads. I did not figure it out and felt the ending, where you learn who it is, was the best part of the film.
I must agree with a few others who have commented earlier, the chemistry level between the leads seemed to be negligible.
Lastly, a few parts were quite odd, including the dancing during the festival, and the Roman elephant torture chamber.
