Rob and Kristen - Remember When?

Brilliant.

Robert on Leno.

Friday, March 18th.

I love watching/listening to Rob talk...

And I'm of the opinion that he should stay away

from print interviews.

His sarcasm... his playfulness

is often lost in translation of the written word.

As Dr. Egon Spengler so eloquently put it...

"Print is dead"

(Gotta love Ghostbusters!)

ANYWAY.

I'm not a huge fan of Leno

(Prefer Conan or Fallon)

But the two previous interviews with Rob

are the most watched on my DVR.

Mostly because of this...

Yep. Yep.

I know I have tried before to put into words

just how much Robert walking affects me.

And I always seem to fail.

Miserably.

But Damn.

Smirky.

Wrinkly.

Scruffy.

Unbuttony.

Strutty. 

(why does that sound dirty?)

Sexy.

And his glorious (somewhat in need of a good wash) hair.

We don't get to see that hair anymore.

Now he's all...

Polished.

(Polishy?)

Shiny.

Suity.

Tie(y).

All Styley.

But still...

Scruffy.

Strutty.

Sexy.

Oh what a difference in our Robert now.

At least in appearance.

Sure.

He might be all shiny and polished on the outside...

But he is still adorkable charming Robert 

where it counts.

Rob is still all lovable and goofy...

Smiley and witty.

No matter what he's wearing

or how short his hair is.

Although I will say I'm a bit nostalgic

for the time when Robert wasn't as concerned

about the wrinkles in his shirt...

Or if his hair was squeaky clean.

Yeah.

And even though Rob's face is pretty easy to read for the most part...

He realizes his words are open to misinterpretation

and so he is more careful with them now.

Way more.

So much that he physically squirms in his seat

when asked about certain topics.

(Although they are still twisted to fit agendas)

 

Yeah.

I miss when Robert was still... 'ours'

You know?

Most people didn't know who the hell he was...

He could walk out and about relatively freely

He was unguarded

He was fresh

He was open and honest.

I miss that Robert.

But even though we all knew it would change...

He would change

I'm glad we got a glimpse into the 'real' Robert.

The silly, goofy, adorkable

unshaven, wrinkled guy

who didn't give a rat's ass how he looked.

I think that is as close to Robert as we will ever get.

How he really is.

And oh how I miss that Robert...

I really didn't want to comment on this stuff anymore.

But my God people.

Someone said they saw Rob and Kristen walking...

Holding hands...

And this HUGE FUCKING DRAMA ensues.

She has it on video.

Doesn't matter WHO took it.

It's all right there.

And while I know people want to talk conspiracy

and that its been doctored

or that's its 'old'

Or even that they are 'performing' for the camera...

COME ON.

You can see its Robert and Kristen.

And it appears that they are indeed holding hands.

So what??

Is this going to change your life in some way?

I know mine has stayed the same.

I didn't get any big reward or anything from this knowledge.

I'm not skipping thru meadows of flowers

laughing and frolicking with unicorns

Rob and Kristen aren't calling me to hang out

and adding BFF in front of my name.

Nope.

My life remains unmoved.

Well...

OK.

That's not 100% true.

My life hasn't altered 

But I do have this big ol' smile on my face.

Not a bad way to end a post.

Oh wait.
