Once again... its been a few days since I've posted last.
What's wrong with me?
I used to blog every single day...
And lately
Not so much.
See the picture above?
I'm sure you have ALL seen it by now.
Someone was sitting behind Rob/Kris on a plane
(Almost a year ago, mind you)
And started taking pictures of them.
Creepy?
A bit.
But it was on a plane...
with a lot of people around
so its not like they weren't aware they were being watched.
I'm sure they always feel like that.
Can you imagine?
Your every move...
even in innocuous places as in your seat on an airplane...
Someone is watching you...
recording you...
Yeah.
That's all kinds of creepy.
But yet... I'm posting the pic.
But while that may be a bit hypocritical
(and I can admit that it is)
I'm actually posting it to prove a point.
The picture was taken last August.
And the story that went along with the pics
was rather sweet and cuddly.
Showing Rob and Kristen... being Rob and Kristen.
And it was creating this immense uproar in the fandom.
It's a picture of Rob and Kris holding hands.
So?
It's not like its the first time we have seen this from them.
In fact...
They seem to be a hand holding kinda couple.
It's kinda their thing... you know?

that makes me smile BIG
Like really HUGE kinda BIG.
Not only because it was one of the first public appearances
of the Rob/Kris handhold...
But because Rob looks so happy
and Kris looks so... content.

It's their way of being connected when they are in public.
It's obvious by now that neither Rob or Kristen
are the type to hang all over each other
and put on a show for public entertainment...
But something as simple
as sweet
as holding hands
seems to work for them.
That and turning up together all the damn time.
Heh.

Over the course of 2 1/2 years?
I'm guessing its meaningful.

1. Kristen just spend the better part of a week
with Robert in Toronto.
She was only papped ONCE.
I realize that some people have to cling
to their fucked up claim of PR
to try and soften the painful reality and rationalize
WHY OH WHY
Rob and Kristen keep showing up together
even when they aren't working.
Even when they could be hanging out with
whoever they wanted to...
And yet
Continue to be with each other.
Again.

And hopefully in a couple of weeks...
Both Rob and Kris will be back in London.

I’m so glad that Kristen’s travels were safe and that she was able to spend some time with Rob last week. It was obvious from his face that he was delighted she came. Yes, hand holding is their thing and it looks great on them. It sure makes my day. I think it does suggest a close connection and a sense of comfort that they have with each other. Rob touch always looks so gentle. They really are beautiful together.
I heard the news that Kristen is scheduled to attend Comic Con and I’m hoping that Rob will be able to make it too. It would be great to see them together again before Kristen (and hopefully Rob) make the trek over to London.
Super – in case you missed my comment on the last post I wanted to wish you a wonderful birthday. As I said, regardless of age you are one hot mama (or Gigi).

Dear Rose, I love all the hand holding pics you posted. And you're right, they do tend to do that a lot. We don't get a lot of PDA of the kissing variety (which is totally understandable and I'm not saying we should get them) but they get snapped, albeit surreptitiously, holding hands a lot. And you're right, it is intimate and, to me, more special because it just puts them in their own little bubble. Whereas kissing can be so public. Don't get me wrong, I'd love it if they did that...but they are protecting something very special to them so I can do without. It's not my life, it's theirs.
So happy they got to spend some time together in Toronto. I do hope Rob gets to join his lady in his hometown when she starts filming SWATH. They deserve some alone time.

Spiders have been biting me, too. I read about blowing a fan under the bed, to keep them away while I sleep.
It seems to work, for I am bite-free, except for an overbite. Betty and I share that trait, also.
