Rob and Kristen- Working My Way Back to You

Sexy Stroll.

One more silly award show down.
How many more of these lame teen things
will Robert be subjected to?

I didn't get a chance to just sit and watch the show...
I was having dinner with family
and its a bit hard to justify watching that nerve wrenching  show
With my siblings and Nana Rose.
They don't get it.
Hell... I don't fucking get it.
How do I even try and explain that I want to
see Robert Pattinson win "Best Vampire"??
(Really?)
OK... it was for blood cancer
which is a great cause.
And Robert...

Is it just me... or does his hair look perfectly fine?
Let's zero in on the perfectly.

Sexy Smirk.

I mean...
I find myself LIKING his hair??
I wasn't so keen on it a couple of weeks ago
But now it has grown on me
Pun intended.
It's reminiscent of WFE hair.
And that was GOOD hair.
Sexy hair.
Nice hair.

Who am I really kidding here...
Rob could shave his hair clean off
and I would think it was good.
I'm follicular-ly  intoxicated
(No it's not a fucking word.)

And let's get down to some good stuff shall we?

Sexy Surfboard.

Rob really wasn't in the audience during most of the show.
The show was half over before he was even spotted backstage.
And while some of the cast were given presenting duties
(Taylor, Kellen, Ashley and Nikki)
Rob was ushered into the audience right before he won an award.
The better to not have to deal with stuff...
You know?

Sexy Scared.
And looks like Nikki won the the coveted seat next to Rob!
I guess it's only fair...
Ashley had the seat last year.
And doesn't Rob looked positively thrilled?
Rob... why are you covering parts of you anatomy?
Bwahahahahaha.
I don't care where you plant Nikki
It doesn't change the fact that Rob wants NOTHING
to do with her.
Sometimes you just have to sit there and suck it up for the camera
But I'm guessing he wasn't sitting next to her
for more than 5 minutes.
It wasn't like this... for example...

Sexy Secrets.

Oh no.
Nothing like that at all...

Or this...

Sexy Smiles.

I doubt we saw Rob look like that ALL night long.
Oh sure he smiles and is pleasantly polite
But the BIG happy smiles
only come out when he is with Kristen.

And as for Nikki?
Well her true colors were shown
when the cameras went to her as Rob won an award...

Scorned Stare.

Oh dear.

Reminds me of the hoopla surrounding
Emma Watson's response when
Kristen won an MTV award.

Except.
Nikki looks like this a lot when she's around Rob.
Heh.

And I promise to stop with the Nikki stuff for now.
(No NONikki forum... I swear)
But damn...
She just made it all so easy.
The 'I give a shit' thing
(Don't hate me because I'm famous!)
And all the chatter around the TCA's.
But now she will just fade back into her
famous oblivion
And she can plan her wedding
(Do you think she asked Kristen to be a bridesmaid? ;)
and live happily ever after!

Sexy Schoolmates.

Isn't this picture delicious?
I love it.
I'm a big fan of all things Harry Potter
and I adore Tom Felton and Rupert Grint...
But it needs to be said
Robert was the best looking boy at Hogwarts
and he still is.

Sexy Soulmate.

And now the countdown begins...
When will Robert go to London?
Is he already on his way?
Does he still have obligations in L.A.?
Will he finally grow a beard?
Will Bear love London?
Will Rob get as bushy as Tom?
Will we even see Rob get into London?
Just get there, Robert.

This post is brought to you by wishes coming true...

Sexy Strides.

Sexy Squared

And just for Syd...

Bye for now

Hi 30, Sydney, Claire, Kenzz, Hope, Angelica, Rhonda, Super, Liza, Annie, Katy, dd, PL, IB, Birdie, Gwen, DK and everyone else in Roseland, near or far.

I hope you are all well and that some measure of calm has been restored for our friends in England.

Birdie, Melinda and IB – thanks for the words of wisdom from this morning and last night.

Motherhin – I’m not sure if you will see this message, but I read your comment last night and wanted to say that I’m so sorry to hear of your loss and your uncle’s current struggles. Cancer is such an insidious disease. I’m sure many here can relate. I lost a good friend to it in high school (she was only 16) so it remains a personal cause. I too add my thanks to Rob for putting his considerable influence behind this very worthy initiative.

DK – that's very generous of you to offer your support for Cancer Bites.

Well I hope everyone has had a nice day. Stay well and safe. Hope to talk to you all soon.

@Sydney

I've been trying for ages to get him to watch it, with no luck.

My constant pestering finally payed off, and he absolutely loved it.

Although I still can't watch the last few minutes without filling up with tears. When Tyler is going to Charles's office and he's on the phone to him just breaks my heart. He was just getting his life back on track, he got Allie back, Charles is taking an interest in Caroline and everything seems to be going good, then it's all snatched away. :'(

Little Ashes (my favourite Rob movie/performance by quite some distance) tomorrow night. I'll let you know if he likes it. LOL

Hi Freddie and 30

Freddie said...

Hi Claire - I hope you are well. Are things fairly normal where you are?

olivia said...

Dear Liza, Claire, Angelica, Syd, Kristen, Rob ( if he has made it home already) and his family and Tom and his family and all other Roselanders that I may haved missed who are in England....
You are all in my thoughts and prayers along with your countrymen. This violence is shocking, tragic and absolutely senseless. Please stay safe and strong.
Hugs for y'all.

Freddie said...

Claire - the scene in Remember Me that gets to me every time is the scene of Tyler's dad walking through the museum holding Caroline's hand. And I love Rob's voice over at the end when he's talking to Michael: "I forgive you" (I think it was).

Hi Olivia – I hope you are well.

Kenzz said...

30: A litle sidetrack to the shallow type of comment, but I love your new avi!! (That sounds sooo girlie, doesn't it? "Ohhh, your boyfriend's face on your manicure is soooo kewl!!") lol :)

Claire & Sydney: the boyfriend stories of chick-flick watching are too funny- Thanks for sharing! <3

Claire said...

@Freddie

I'm fine thanks.

It seems to be spreading to small towns now.

Speaking of Caroline in Remember Me, I think little Ruby Jerins was fantastic in it. On the DVD commentary she comes across as such a mature girl for her age.

@olivia

I'm lucky that I live in one of the few regions of the country that this hasn't affected. It's still shocking though, hopefully it will end soon and people who have been affected can start trying to get back on their feet.

Claire said...

@kenzz

I honestly think that most men like these movies, it's just their ego gets in the way.

I forced him to take me to see WFE, and he really liked that too.

Kenzz said...

OLivia: Best description of the rioting..."absolutely senseless"

Hi Freddie! I adore how you sum up everyone's comments so succinctly, and with such compassion...you sre one of a kind, my friend! I've been thinking about your work situation- between a rock & a hard place?- but I feel things will work out as they are supposed to, and you simply need to do the job as if it were already yours!

olivia said...

Hi Freddie and Claire,

Claire, so glad you are in a peaceful area.

Freddie, back from vacay and getting ready to officially start back to school on Friday. Can't believe it is here already. Actually was up at school already yesterday and today for a couple of hours.

olivia said...

Hi and a ""wave" to Kenzz!

Kenzz said...

Claire: I agree about the men... my VERY manly hubs has not only seen all 3 movies, he's read the books in the Saga (alright, under extreme duress, and skimmed is probably a more accurate description, but he'd likey do anything if he saw it really meant a lot to me!) In fact, he actually enjoyed WFE, and loved The Runaways, so I feel he shouldn't complain tooooo much!

I know I've said it many times on the blog the last few days, but please stay SAFE...

Kenzz said...

olivia: all this talk of school starting up is depressing me... It just means summer is ending :(

Although I must shamefully admit that occasionally, the thought of the kids going back to school has brought a little smile of relief to my lips (bad mom, *hanging head in shame*)

Freddie said...

Kenzz - thanks so much for the lovely feedback, but trust me, there have been so many times when I've read your comments and thought "wow, I wish I could have said that as eloquently". This is the absolute truth. Right back atcha, my friend.

Olivia - it's amazing how summer has just rushed on by. I’m glad you managed to get in the vacation you were planning. Did you have a good time? Oh, and not to sound like the mutual admiration society here, but like with Kenzz's posts, I always look forward to reading your very thoughtful comments.

Freddie said...

Kenzz - LOL. Wow you are a master of persuasion to get your husband to even skim the books.

Do you guys have the Staples commercials where the father rolls by on a shopping cart singing "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" in reference to his kids going back to school? That's what your comment reminded me of. LOL

Kenzz said...

Freddie: You are either psychic, or have been peeking in my windows! My fav commercial is the one you referenced, where the Dad is gleefully skipping thru Staples, two kids morosely following behind him, with that XMas song gaily playing over the loudspeakers. I'm famous (well, at least in my immediate family) with humming that song this whole month!

Freddie said...

Kenzz - so funny! Great minds think alike.

I have to head off now, so I hope you have a really great evening, my friend. Stay well and talk to you soon.

Sydney said...

Claire: yeah, I bribed him to see either Twilight or New Moon in exchange for me going to see Tropic Thunder with him. And I think I got him hooked.

He's already whining about how I'm going to "make" him see Breaking Dawn. I told him he didn't have to but he swears that was part of our initial bet. It wasn't. He wants to see it but can't admit it.

I wonder how many times he's watched the movies when he's been at my house alone.

Kenzz said...

I'm considering signing off as well... quiet night here in Roseland...

Have a lovely evening... hope to "see" you soon :)

word verif: "fametail" Gawd, if more of the regs were here, what a field day they'd have with that one!

Kenzz said...

Sydney: Throw some obscure, but incorrect factoid out re: Eclipse... if he corrects you (cuz you know how they jump on those FEW times when we're actually WRONG- my hubs marks it on the calendar- haha), then you know he's more than a casual, disinterested observer!

olivia said...

Thank you for your kindness.

Yes Freddie. It was a lovely get away to Santa Fe, one of my favorite little spots. Lots of interesting and entertaining locals, great museums, gorgeous art, an ever changing landscape and scrumptious food. Even though they have had a very warm summer, it was much better than the heat here at home. Evenings, especially after a brief shower each afternoon, were cool enough for a sweater. Just heavenly.

Off to read for a bit. Have a restful evening.

Kenzz said...

Nite, olivia!

Santa Fe sounds heavenly....

*I*Believe* said...

I'm checking in later than usual...is anybody here?

W said...

Love Seeks Love Finds

Greenfields

The Brothers Four-1960:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYD3pkbgnKA

Once there were green fields kissed by the sun
Once there were valleys where rivers used to run

Once there were blue skies with white clouds high above
Once they were part of an everlasting love
We were the lovers who strolled through green fields

Green fields are gone now, parched by the sun
Gone from the valleys where rivers used to run
Gone with the cold wind that swept into my heart
Gone with the lovers who let their dreams depart
Where are the green fields that we used to roam

I'll never know what made you run away
How can I keep searching when dark clouds hide the day
I only know there's nothing here for me
Nothing in this wide world, left for me to see

Still I'll keep on waiting until you return
I'll keep on waiting until the day you learn

You can't be happy while your heart's on the roam
You can't be happy until you bring it home
Home to the green fields and me once again

Thank you/loc139

Life Is Amazing Don't Forget

The Green Leaves Of Summer

The Brothers Four:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xdE9MpZ9kc

Wo...wo...
A time to be reaping
A time to be sowing
The green leaves of summer
Are calling me home

Twas so good to be young then
In the season of plenty
When the catfish were jumping
As high as the sky

A time just for planting
A time just for ploughing
A time to be courting
A girl of your own

Twas so good to be young then
To be close to the earth
And to stand by your wife
At the moment of birth, wo...

A time to be reaping
A time to be sowing
A time just for living
A place for to die

Twas so good to be young then
To be close to the earth
Now the green leaves of summer
Are calling me home

Thank you/Jorgeyuk

@PL
Thanks for your wishes for enjoyment. I'll do my best.

@Freddie
It isn't much but it's something to do, right?

Not staying around much longer tonight, too much going on in my head and heart. Only can say, I love the human spirit that refuses to be held hostage to fear and intimidation. Look around you.

A wave of brooms, starts the healing.

Dear England & Our World Family

Help Is On Its Way

Little River Band:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQpIlNTayq8

Why are you in so much hurry?
Is it really worth the worry?
Look around, then slow down

What's it like inside the bubble?
Does your head ever give you trouble?
It's no sin, trade it in

Hang on, help is on its way
I'll be there as fast as I can
"Hang on", a tiny voice did say
From somewhere deep inside the inner man

Are you always in confusion?
Surrounded by illusion?
Sort it out, you'll make out

Seem to make a good beginning
Someone else ends up winning
Don't seem fair
Don't you care?

Don't you forget
Who'll take care of you
It don't matter what you do

Form a duet
Let him sing melody
You'll provide the harmony

Help is on its way
Help is on its way...

Thank you/yupitsjustmehaha

Good morning/afternoon/evening, Roseland!

I've been trying to get info on the situation in London but not really finding anything very current.

Could one of you Brit beauties let us know the latest? Is the unrest calming down a bit? I hope and pray that it is.

You've all been in my thoughts. It's amazing how much care and concern can be felt for people I've never laid eyes on!

I hope everyone is well and happy -- and safe!

Robert said...

okay, so i went back and read some of the comments and i am going to put this out there for anyone who is still listening [this is in response to kenzz, olivia, claire, and freddie]

i believe there is a huge contingent of men out there who are closet twilight fans

but there are a couple of things going on here

start with this. kristen stewart is beautiful. as a single adult flaming heterosexual male i can tell you, we've noticed this, hell, you know how ron white says you can;t fix stupid? well you can't hide beautiful either we just can't say anything about it

why? she's in twilight; twilight is not cool, plus no guy in any kind of relationship is ever going to admit to his girl/wife that he us lusting after a gorgeous 21 year old.

but the biggest thing keeping guys quiet about twilight is this: guy code specifically dictates that sophia vergara is hot; kristen stewart is cute. no guy when he's among other guys is ever going to admit he has a thing for ks in a world full of sv's

face it ladies, we're simple, shallow creatures

Claire said...

@dottie

Sad to report that the violence has spread to my best friends home town, about 10 miles from here.

Youths attacked a police station, injuring an officer and setting a police car on fire.

It's only a small town of 90,000 people. The three major cities in the region have had no violence.

angelica1 said...

dottie - The increased police presence in London seems to be helping,it was much quieter last night. Manchester and the Midlands got the worst of it

Dottie said...

CLAIRE & ANGELICA, Thanks for the info. I'm glad things are better in London. Hopefully peace will soon spread into the outlying areas and other affected cities as well.

30 - No, it's a couple of hours away. A few people are getting frustrated and taking matters into their own hands, unfortunately it usually doesn't help
