Robert Pattinson Loves Kristen Stewart

Rob. London. Walking. Swoon.
Random Rose

1. Robert Pattinson finally shows his face in London.
He must not have flown private this time...
That's right.
This time.
Looks like the boy is staying more than a few days
Looks like he might be there a while.
Looks like he's happy to be home.
Where his family and friends are...
And his girl.
:)

Sweet Smile. How I missed you.

There was someone who tweeted
that she was going to a christening in London that Rob would attend...
People immediately scoped this chick out
(of course they did)
And she seemed like someone who was seriously linked
with the Sturridge family.
She worked with Arthur
She was friends with Mathilda
Needless to say...
The tweet was deleted
(tsk tsk dear girl)
And Rob turning up in London the next day?
Made her tweet all the more authentic.

Cue the next scene.

2. Oh dear.
Oh my.
I'm not even sure where to begin.
So.
This other young girl.
Whom I will not name...
Not only because I'm sure you will have
read her story by now...
but because
My god...
This has gotten blown so far out of proportion
So.
Again.
This young girl.
She's 14.
She happens across what looks to be
the christening that Rob was attending.
She takes some pictures.
Groups of people outside talking.
No.
Rob isn't in the pictures.
But it does appear that Kristen is...
Marcus and Arthur Sturridge.
So.
All odds are that it is indeed the Sturridge event.
She posts 3 pictures
and then goes on to say that she has more.
Way more.
Like pictures of Rob and Kristen.
Smiling.
Looking in love.
Holding hands.
You get the deal... right?
But then she doesn't have the camera.
It's at her Mom's.
Yeah.
So what happens next?

Well... cue the attacks.
Because not only was this girl called all sorts of names
and made fun of
and accused of lying and making up stories
by the Ninnies...
(HOW DARE SHE SAY THAT ROB AND KRISTEN WERE TOGETHER)
But she was besieged by the so called "Shippers"
Who can't seem to just accept the pictures for what they are
And had to question every detail.
Behavior on both sides of the fence was pretty disgusting.
It kinda made my skin crawl.

So these Haters and these Shippers

both start ripping and gnawing at this girl.
Coming at her from both sides.
Really?
She's a young girl.
And while she may or may not have embellished
her story about Rob and Kristen...
She DID share 3 pictures very clearly showing
Kristen at the Sturridge event
(Yeah, Art is kinda hard to miss, isn't he?)
And the Sturridge event was the Christening...
And Robert was ALSO at the Christening...
SO
Do people really question that Rob was there,
or that Rob and Kristen were together?
There are other tweets that saw them in West London before the party.
More tweets about them at the party.
You can see Kristen, Marcus Foster and Art Sturridge in the pictures...
So it's pretty obvious what is going on here.
SO
This young girl...
Did she add details to her story?
Does she really have pictures of Rob and Kristen?
Who knows.
Does it really matter in the end?
Nope.
We have a lot of pictures of Rob and Kristen holding hands.
That's pretty standard Rob/Kristen behavior now.
Rob and Kristen always end up together.
Whether you get a picture or not.

You and Me... that's how it should be.

3. Do I have a three?
I'm thinking that I don't.
The whole twitter bullshit really wears you down.
I feel sorry for the girl.
Because she was all excited about what she saw...
and she couldn't wait to share her pictures.
And even without the story that went along with them
She still had pictures.
But that's never enough.
NOTHING is ever enough for the lunatic fringe
of this ridiculous fandom.
Just accept what she shared.
That's enough.
Put your hand in mine...

4. Thomas Sturridge
His family name was tossed about this weekend.
And not a picture was seen of him.
What.The.Hell?
I don't feel comfortable posting the pics...
I don't even feel comfortable discussing details
of what was going on beyond 'the christening'
The who/what doesn't really matter.
And well...
Shouldn't we all have lines we won't cross?
I know I do.

Green Sheep. And Beer.
 Final Thought.

Robert and Kristen are together.
Again.
They are always together.
Again.
You can whine and moan about it
You can get angry and bitter.
Bottom line?
They are never apart for long.
And as history has proven...
Where one goes
the other follows.

This post is brought to you by boundaries.
People need to find some.
And while you're shopping for must haves?
See if you can find some
Common Sense
A Sense of humor
and
Acceptance.

Bye for now

I found my thrill...

  1. I must be gullable b/c I really thought she had pics. Never doubted she didn't for a second. I really thought she was just scared to post them. I'm confused about Tom. Was this pic you posted of him from this weekend or from another time? Not that it matters but I didn't get the whole Rob is the godfather thing!

  2. Oh Rose...you always put the right words...I'm so happy that they are together again...
And i believe the girl has pics, and i think she will post than, in her time...

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Attacking a 14 year old girl? Fucking idiots on both sides.

Rose, where do you get these fancy emoticons from? Some of them have me in kinks LOL.

  4. I've noticed something on video from an interview that Rob gave. No one picked up on what I saw. Not really sure of what I saw! I wish there was a way I could say what I saw without starting rumours or what have you!

    ReplyDelete
  5. I LOVE YOU.Couldn't say it better.Thanks.I hope many read your post today. And internalize what is being said.

  6. Hi Caroline. I agree, I think she has them...

As for "some" crossing a line, what's new in the fandom? It seems to happen more and more, with the boundaries getting pushed so much further by the fringe.

Me? I was at the beach yesterday, enjoying a beautiful, perfect day with my family. If you've never been to the Crystal Coast of NC in September, GO! Dodge the hurricanes, but it is worth it! So, a good friend (PR PRO) kept me apprised of the goings on. But it was no surprise to me - as Rose says, Rob and Kristen always end up together.

Too bad the lunatic fringe has to be so damn crazy! Me, I'm just enjoying the fact that Rob and Kristen and together, again, and happy. Rob's face says it all! THAT SMILE!

  7. Hi Rose,

Thanks for posting on this holiday. I hope you are having a nice day with your family (in between twitter creepiness).

While the “confessions” post was last Thursday, I do have to confess that I’m really happy that we got to see Rob’s smiling face at the airport yesterday. Yes, I know he had to suffer the glare of the papp’s camera and I shouldn’t be glad for that reason, but…(hanging my head in shame) I must admit that I was smiling when I saw the pictures. I’m also glad that he and Kristen are together. If your supposition is correct, I’m happy that they managed to get in at least one undetected visit as well.

I’m sorry to hear that, what was initially a fun, happy experience for this young girl has been soured by the extremes of the fandom. It shouldn’t be that way.

Oh and Rose, you’re getting very creative with the emoticons. Love them.

I hope everyone is having a great day, whether celebrating Labour Day or not. Take care all.

  8. Sweet & to the point!

The lunatic fringe is a small group, on both sides, unfortunately they are incredibly fucking loud & annoying drowning out some of the positive, sane people.
Haters gonna hate, nothing new there.

Cute pix as always, Rob was extra smirky in the airport pix, he looked happy, which really is all that matters, Rob & Kristen are both happy & that's good enough for me.
Hope they enjoyed themselves yesterday with their family & friends.

Hope you all have had a nice weekend! I'm enjoying the long holiday weekend by being incredibly lazy & watching sports. Good times!

  9. "ARE together"....sorry for the typo, but you know what i meant! (not AND together)

    ReplyDelete
  10. @sjjw

I've said it before, I make so many typo's on here that it's embarrassing, the posters must think I never had an education.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Claire, ha ha ha! That's definitely me. I try to proof-read, but still miss stuff. I was an English major, so it's especially embarrassing!

  12. Hi sj, Claire, Groovie and the others who have posted.

sj - I'm glad you had a nice time at the beach. It sounds heavenly.

Claire - I saw you mention on the other post that you picked up your WFE DVD. I'm envious. I'd love to see it again.

IB - in case I miss you, I just wanted to wish you well on your return to school tomorrow.

Kenzz - glad the golf game was fun.

Super - I hope the day was as restful as you hoped.

  13. Hi Everyone

I just can't believe so many so called adults had nothing
better to do with their Sunday than attack an excited kid.
You'd think so called fans would just be pleased they were in the same city and that Rob was clearly happy to be home with his lady.

  14. Angelica, stop making sense!!! lol

Hi Freddie and everyone. Lovely weekend was lovely. Hubs commented he'd never seen the ocean as clear and warm as yesterday, with near perfect waves! I don't know what Katina is up to out in the Atlantic, but there were no signs of her yesterday in NC! And, the damage seemed minimal, but you could see where the storm surge had come through. Our fave place to stay sustained the most damage of anywhere on the island. Luckily, we found another spot, and our face place will be up and running again soon!

  15. Oh gawd, please tell me the lunatic fringe is few and far between? I just have to believe that most people are saner than that. Adults harassing a child (whether she is telling the truth or not)is shameful. It's time to take a step (or dozen) back and find a hobby or something else to obsess over.

I hope all you Americans are enjoying the holiday and all the rest are having a happy Monday.

PS: Thanks to all my Roseland pals for not being part of that lunatic fringe! :) HUGS!

  16. (damage from Irene...) I need to be more coherent!

  17. Wow I love Random Rose..the crazies on both sides of the fandom really show themselves at times like these hey!- Attacking a young girl- how classy!!

It seems that Rob did indeed choose to fly Commercial THIS time..WOnder how many times he didn't ;)
-thats for them to know and us to never find out.

I am very happy that Rob and Kristen are in the same country again...as is the pattern..always :)
I hope they are able to enjoy their time in London without too much intrusion.

I also love your shopping list Rose, but i fear common sense is hard to come by these days so don't hold your breath.

Hi to all.. haven't popped in for a long time, as life has been very hectic, hope you are all well.

  18. Hello everyone! Happy Labor Day to thoes of us who celebrate! Rose great post...it is so scary that people would actually attack a 14 year old...What the hell are people thinking...I was soooo happy to see Rob back in London! Makes my heart feel so good to know that he and Kristen are once again enjoying each others company. So JEALOUS of thoes who are able to purchase the WFE DVD! Thanks again Rose!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hi Rose and Roseland

Rob's smile says it all, he is happy to be back home. Hope Rob and Kristen can have much relaxing and happy time together with family and friends...Welcome home Rob.

This fandom never ceases to amaze me...grown women harassing and threatening a 14year old girl... How could anyone do that?!?!

    Take care everyone

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hi all! For those celebrating Labor Day hope you all are enjoying the extended weekend. Everyone else, I hope you are having a wonderful day.

Happy that Rob made it back to London safely. His smile does say it all! Hope people don't bother them too much.

I saw the tweets from the young girl that asked them for a photo, etc. It's a shame that people in this fandom are so bitter and/or bitchy that she locked her twitter because of the harassment.

When people get to this point (harassment of anyone on twitter when it comes to anything Rob/Kristen related) they need to take a step back. Obsession is not becoming on a person!

Freddie- It's nice that you were able to have a chance to see your parents while on a work trip. Hope you are having/or had a lovely time.

Super- I saw "The Help" Saturday night with my mom and SIL. Terrific movie!

Claire- Lucky you! We still have 2 months before WFE comes out here.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Evening ladies! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Why do people even need pictures? The believers already know they're together. The doubters wouldn't believe it anyway. What's the point? Such second hand embarrassment for the fandom this weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  22. SJ - I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. Mr Dottie & I lived in NC when we were first married and spent lots of lovely vacations at Topsail Beach. The NC beaches have a special place in my heart. :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hi Melinda, and yes, the harrassment of anyone is just crazy. I do think many people need to just take a step back, breathe deeply and get help! It's a shame a few crazies ruined this young girl's genuine excitement....

    ReplyDelete
  24. @Melinda

    2 months?!?!

Ooh I might go and watch it again

    Bwhahahahahah!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi Dottie! I posted a pic for you...yes, we were just down from Topsail, in Wrightsville! I remembered our conversation about "Seymour Johnson" Air Force Base as we drove by it again today! When you were in NC, did you ever go to Wilbur's in Goldsboro? We did today. Best BBQ ev-ah!

  26. Happy Labor Day dear Rose and Roselanders,

Hooray for Random Rose and your words of wisdom.
    Hear! Hear!
So sad to hear about the thoughtless demands, overboard zealousness and the hurtful, pathetic jealousy that some people are displaying in the name of fandom.

Rose, hope you had a lovely weekend.

Rhonda, sorry your day was dampened by the rain. Wishing you better weather.

Kenzz, miniature golf is the nearest I've ever been to the greens. Enjoy the pool.

Hi Super, good thoughts being sent your way to wrap up a really nice day.

sjjw, happy you got to be at the beach.

Freddie, I agree, those emoticons that Rose is using are too cute. Hope your job is going well. Glad you had "Labour Day" today, too!

Groovie, lazy especially on a holiday weekend is good! Enjoy!

Claire, watch that WFE DVD several times for those of us that have to wait until November. Enjoy that beautiful movie. It is a feast for the eyes.

Hi to Berry, Tigerlily, Katy, Sydney Dottie and Melinda, too!

Wishing IB a great day tomorrow!

Melinda, like you, I saw The Help this weekend. It is a wonderful movie with a phenomenal cast. So many shining performances. I am sure there will be some awards for this film.

    Hugs for y'all.
Hugs for Smitty, Gruff and Syd.

  27. Hey Angelica, dottie, Berry, Tigerlily, Katy, Melinda, Sydney and olivia - I hope you ladies are all well and have had a good long weekend / Monday.

    ReplyDelete
  28. OMG even shippers were mad at her for not uploading the pics fast enough... I'm such a believer that to me Rob WAS in the pics she did post! LOL She mentioned he was wearing a hoddie, and we can see a guy in a hoodie but we can't be sure it's him.

She explained her camera was a disposable one, she would have to develop the pics and then upload them... But after all the hate, I wouldn't bother...

    ReplyDelete
  29. I could not believe the idiots attacking that sweet, excited young girl yesterday. What is wrong with people?!? From her account, she had a wonderful experience meeting Rob and Kristen yesterday. I hope that she can focus on that part, and not the reactions of the lunatic fringe.

It was good to see happy, smiling Rob at the airport yesterday....I am sure that Kristen was just as happy and smiling! :) I hope that they can get some restful time together, even with Kristen's hectic shooting schedule.

Hi Melinda, Freddie, SJ, claire, Angelica, Dottie, Caroline, Tigerlily, Groovie, Berry, Katy, Awhile!, Sydney, Olivia, Rose and everyone else out in Roseland....hope you are all having a great day! <3

  32. Rose...Thank you for this post. As a mom I would die if my daughter was attacked like that after posting her happy event. WTF is wrong with these people? She is young girl!! (shakes head)

Freddie...Are you working too hard?Hope you are well!

IB...Good luck tomorrow as you meet your new class!
    They will love you!

Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend.
My days will be mixed up the rest of the week. LOL

  35. Hi Hope, sorry I missed you while I was typing.

Work is busy, but I'm enjoying my long weekend, so all is good.

How are things with you? Have you been busy with back-to-school preparations?

    ReplyDelete
  36. SJ, I completely forgot about Wilbur's! Yum!! NC has great food!

There was this one place right on the beach that had the best seafood. It was just heaven to sit there and eat and drink and look at the gorgeous view! Ahhh! I want to go back!

Another reason NC is special to me... #1 son got his start there. ;)

Sorry to bore everyone w/my stroll down memory lane. I will hush now, lest I start rhapsodizing on the beauty of the tobacco fields!

  37. Howdy Friends!

Can't people just be happy that Rob and Kristen are happy?!? I mean, really, life is too darn short!

Rose, thank you soooo much for posting today!

DK~Hope you are well...here are some exclamation points just for you !!!!!!!

Groovie~So nice to see you! I've missed you :)

Freddie & Olivia~Thank you for thinking of me and the well wishes. Tomorrow will be all day meetings...the kiddies come Wednesday :)

  39. Hi Rose,

I hope you've had a nice holiday, thanks for the post <3

I was disgusted over the way some people were treating this young girl. She seemed sweet, and was so excited to meet them. The behavior that resulted form her sharing was beyond ridiculous.

    Olivia & Kenzz- Thanks :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Hello lovely Roseland ladies,

Whether that young girl has more pictures or not is irrelevant to me. It is obvious that Rob would have been at whatever event was going on. All his friends were there as was Kristen and everyone saw that he landed at Heathrow. Common sense, he was there.

We woke up to drastic temperature change here. 52 degrees, fall has arrived.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Freddie...glad you are okay.

K started school over 2 weeks ago so we are back in the groove. Haha.
Cheer practice, and now play practice and Thursday night football games are starting too. Hubby traveling so all is back to normal. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  42. IB- Good luck from me too :)

Sydney- Did you have fun skiing?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Dottie- I just read your comment about your son. I could say something but since I am a lady I shall refrain! LOL!

IB- Sounds like you have an exciting day tomorrow. How many kids are in your class this year?

Freddie- I think if I could have grown up in a certain decade it would be the 60's for the music alone.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Melinda~17 First Graders as of now....I haven't been to school so my enrollment could have changed...we shall see.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Melinda & Olivia- I've heard some Oscar buzz about the movie. Did either of you read the book? I thought it was great too.

Hi Hope- I never get to talk with you anymore. Sounds like you're staying busy.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Hi everyone,

Rob is in London with his girl. FACT. Kristen was with the Sturridge family. FACT. Why do the nonstens and haters act the way they do? How hateful are they to pick on or abuse a young girl who only wanted to share her experience with the fandom. Thank goodness not everyone is that mean. BTW Rob's luggage tags read "heavy" and "priority", so maybe he will be there for a while.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hi IB, Rhonda and PL.

PL - we had the same drop in temperature here. They say the fall is supposed to be warmer and drier than normal, but from the temperative this morning, you would never sense that.

Rhonda - I hope you had a nice day despite the rain.

IB - I hope you get to ease into things tomorrow.

Hope - it sounds like things are very busy for you, but I guess that is normal from what you are saying.

Melinda - I totally agree, it is great music. A radio station here has "Saturday Night at the Oldies" and they used to play 60's music. Now, to my chagrin, the late 70's and 80's have become the oldies. I'm offended and incensed. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Hi Freddie- Thanks, it was nice. My first holiday off in a long time. How was yours? Did you shop?

    Hi PL- That's chilly :)

    ReplyDelete
  49. IB- I hope the school year goes well for you. You sounded excited the other day setting up!

Rhonda- I haven't read the book actually. It's sitting on the shelf waiting for me to dig in. Both my mother and SIL read the book and said it has more little details and such that wasn't in the movie.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Freddie~LOL..I hope I get to ease into things too!

The hardest thing about going back to school is getting up and out in the morning....I have grown spoiled with my second cup of coffee, kitty cat and crossword puzzle.

  51. Believe,

Good luck with the new class. Would you believe when I was in school the normal class size was 40? Sister Mary Catherine sure had her work cut out for her.

    Freddie,

That drop in temp. sure was a shock wasn't it? I actually wore socks today because my feet were cold.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Hahaha ROSE..I found MY thrill on ROSEBERRY HILL!

I am disgusted that anybody would pick on a 14 year old girl...she shared her pics with the world and that is what she gets for her generosity:( Well I guess she has gotten a painful reality thrown in her face...that there are a bunch of mean and hate filled people in this world.

I am so happy to see so many of my "faves: on the blog today.

    TIGER....I have missed you!!!!!

FREDDIE and OLIVIA..I have had a nice day. We took the FIL out to lunch and I have just finished cleaning up from dinner, My sister came by this morning and brought us some pound cake. Of course I had a piece and I almost died.. OMG...it was the best I have ever had in my life...and I thought my mothers was the best. Soooo, I called my sister to see what the deal was...Hahaha..turns out it was a Paula Deen rcipe from a book I gave her!

GTRDDIE...Did you buy anything?? You were going shopping..I know how you love the Swarovsky crystals!

They are fixing to have a clip about BD on RT Tonight..

    WAVES and HUGS to ALL
disclaimer...If I have some mistakrs, please forgive me..I forgot to bring my glasses back downstairs with me:)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Ahhh, teaching is ALWAYS an adventure! I know Olivia will agree.

And....I will have Edward with me...I don't know if you guys remember but my mom gave me a poster of Edward from Eclipse for Christmas and I put it up in classroom with a sign that says "Edward says to READ" LOL I crack myself up!

  54. PL _ I must admit my niece was complaining yesterday about having 30 in some of her classes. I didn't realise that was unusual!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Freddie-
I was told that very same thing about 80's music being oldies the other day by a preteen!

    PL-
Send that weather my way please! I would LOVE it to be in the 50's.

    ReplyDelete
  56. PL~Remember, Sister Mary Catherine had a ruler for smacking knuckles :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Rhonda - yes, I did some shopping...probably too much shopping LOL. I'm glad you had a nice day in any case.

PL - I guess we'll have to get used to socks from here on out.

IB - I'll be thinking of you tomorrow morning. I confess I hate getting up in the mornings.

Funny my word verification was "sockles" LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Rhonda: I was in the mountains, but not skiing. The mountains are all closed to skiing...there is virtually no snow. You can still ride the gondola to the top...but you just have to hike or bike down. It was a gorgeous weekend up there...it was the Vail Jazz Fest, so, always a good time.

Unfortunately, I learned Band of Horses was playing here in Denver last night and I missed it. How did I not know they were coming?

Okay...heading out for dinner because I'm too tired to cook.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Melinda- LOL, my nephews say all my old 80's music is antique...darn kids :)

  60. The last day of summer, boohoo or hooray, I can't make up my mind. What a lovely way to end it with Rob and Kristen together again.
    Rose,
I hope you and all you lovely, sensible, kind women had a great day. What a shame that there are such callous, mean women out there picking on a child, bursting her bubble. So uncool.
    IB,
17 children is a nice size isn't it? Hope you have a fantastic school year.
    Olivia,
It sounds like you are already having a good year.
    Cheers to our wonderful teachers!!

  61. Freddie~What fun things did you buy while you were shopping?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Sydney- I'm glad you had a good time. Enjoy your dinner :)

  63. Super - the Paula Dean pound cake sounds wonderful. Since you gave your SIL the cookbook it's only fitting that you should enjoy the spoils.

Super - you have me pegged. Yes, my stop this afternoon was at Swarovski and I indulged in a necklace and bangle. I love to spend money even when I shouldn't.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Freddie- LOL, that's just a myth...you can never shop too much ;)

    ReplyDelete
  65. Just checking back in before dinner...

Melinda, YOU ARE such a delicate lady! We all are! It's a requirement for being a Roselander, right??? hehe

Hello everyone. I wish I could stay and chat. Have fun!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Melinda - LOL on the pre-teens. I take solace in knowing that eventually they will be in our shoes. Their music will be "oldies " one day.

Hi Birdie - I hope all is well with you. I'm assuming the garage dweller is still hanging in there?

    ReplyDelete
  67. Freddie - Rhonda's right, there's no such thing as too mych shopping :)

  69. Melinda,

I have to agree that the cooler weather is kind of nice. Just wait though, in a couple months I'll be complaining about how cold it is.

  70. GOD, I hate it when people are attacked for no reason! Like you said, she's a 14-year-old girl. Leave her alone for chissakes! I expect this kind of nonsense from the Nonstens but from shippers as well??? Good grief! Thank you Rose, for always putting into perspective. I hope the girl will recover from this incident with her love for Rob and Kristen intact. I hate for this to have changed that. Her story really was sweet too.

  71. Rhonda- Kids nowadays don't know great music when they hear it! My local radio station did a "throwback" weekend this weekend. Some of the music they played made my ears happy. You can't go wrong with the Beastie Boys....

I'm going to jet and see if I can scrounge up something to eat. We had a big lunch but I'm a little peckish now.

If I don't pop back on later have a great night!

That goes for the rest of you all too!

  72. Oh Angelica and Rhonda - I wish you could both shop with me to keep reminding me of that fact. LOL.

I used to love shopping with my mother as she never talked me out of buying anything. That's a good shopping buddy.

  77. Hi Freddie,
You are always so sweet to ask about my rodent dilemma. I am going to check with the local science teachers to see if they need a class pet. Fingers-crossed.
    How's that new job going?

Are you enjoying your new job and the hours?

  81. IB..I can tell you that if I were a kid in your class, I would be doing what EDWARD SAYS! I have a "Red Carpet" ROB poster in my locker at work!!! My fellow workers make fun of me:)

Hahaha..FREDDIE...I figured! I have a "jewelry" addiction also:)

    ReplyDelete
  82. Birdie - I remember about your rodent friend because I would be so uncomfortable with it if it were me. Wouldn't it be nice if Mr. Rat offered himself up to science? Ha ha. Good luck.

IB - thanks. Yes, jewelry is my current indulgence. Everyone needs a hobby. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Hi BIRDIE!!! Its nice to see you here this time of day:) I came upstairs so I have my glasses back!

Hi RHONDA...I saw your comment about the holidays and getting to be off....lucky girl!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Birdie- Yes, very much, thanks for asking. I hope you're doing okay. How's your daughter adjusting to college?

    ReplyDelete
  85. Do any of you ladies listen to James Morrison or David Gray?

    ReplyDelete
  86. Super~Our posters aren't bad at all...I know a teacher who has the cardboard stand-up of Eddie and she dresses him for the different seasons...lol...she is a secondary school teacher!

BTW...those at my school know better than to say anything to me :)

    ReplyDelete
  87. Rhonda...Hi! Glad to hear you like your new job. Sounds like you have better hours and days off?
You were talking about your dad teaching you how to play golf...me too. Of course it all started with putt-putt. Now it is my hubby that rolls his eyes as use my driver to get each ball to the green.

Super...are you still shopping on QVC?? lol

    Homework questions calling!

  88. Thanks FREDDIE....I love those pics of Rob plastered against that wall! Something about him with that haircut and a shirt and tie...sexy:)

    Rhonda,
I just sent her back to school. She was home for a couple days(too soon). She told me it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. High praise coming from her!

  91. Claire - thanks for the suggestions. I'll give them a listen.

  93. Hi Birdie!

Claire~ I LOVE Babylon!! I have that on my iTunes

    ReplyDelete
  94. IB - love the Edward poster story. You have great taste. Yes, anyone who insults Edward should stay after school or have extra homework. (or whatever "punishment" is appropriate these days).

    ReplyDelete
  95. Claire- Yes, he is. I haven't listened to James Morrison as much, but wasn't Nelly Furtado featured on one of his songs?

    Birdie- That's great, I'm happy she's liking it :)

    ReplyDelete
  96. IB..Hahaha...I "almost" bought that life size Edward but I was afraid if I did, my husband might put me away...It might be the straw that would break the camels back!

HOPE..Yes to your question! It is kind of embarrasing but if you lived in my town, you would see why I have to do it. Just to give you an idea of the depravity of my town...we have one mall...half the stores are empty, there is a police department in it. Every Friday night, there are 3 police cars parked by the front door of our theater complex, there is also a police department at our local high school. We have "shootings" almost daily. We have one of the highest crime rates in the country for the size of our town....All that to say...good stores are "lacking"...our priority is staying alive!

  97. Hi Rose,
I've always read your blog and enjoyed it. This is my first comment here. It's my guilty pleasure. You've made me laugh with your sarcasm and speak your mind opinion. And yes they are your opinion. Like everyone here I love Rob and Kristen. I like how they stay true to themselves. And two people falling in love right in front of our eyes. I don't understand why people waste their time and energy on hate. Why some people think they have a say on how Robert and Kristen should live their lives. It scares me to think that some of these women are in their mid 30's or older and mothers. They're out of touch and need some professional help.

Thank you Rose for allowing me to read your blog, you're awesome.

    Hello everyone!

  100. Hi Super, Freddie, Angelica, Rhonda, Hope, IB, Birdie & Claire..
    (& everyone else)
I Hope you are all well. Love the shopping convo's.- I agree you can never do too much of it.

Super- That is very sweet. I have missed you too.. I have spent the last 2 months travelling and looking after my grandmother on weekends as she was unwell. Sadly she passed away a couple of weeks ago. I was able to check in every now and then but didn't have the 'head space' to post.

Life is slowly getting back to normal thankfully and it's been nice trying to catch up on all the comings and goings of Roseland. Looks like I have missed a few fun parties along the way :)

Super I thought of you when I posted earlier- I was on my cell phone and it took 3 goes :) *frustrating*

Anyway I'd better run am off to work...no rest for the wicked as they say. Hopefully check in later.

  105. Hi Rose, great post. I was so excited and happy to see Rob arrive in London, and I knew he would show up as soon as he was able. He did look very happy and he looked as though he had lots of clothes with him to stay awhile.

I can't believe people actually attacked that poor child. She seemed so excited and happy about seeing Rob and Kris. Honestly, people are just crazy. It is hard to believe normal people would act like that. I feel so badly for her.

I hope everybody had a nice holiday weekend. Mine was very quiet, but nice. Take care--

  117. DK – before I head off for the night, I wanted to give you another singer suggestion. Her name is Jane Monheit. She's a jazz singer as well. She does a number of old standards and she's good. There’s one song she does called “Something Cool” – which was also sung by Judy Garland at one point. It has a kind of cool sophistication to it, and every time I hear it, I think of you, even though the lyrics aren’t a perfect fit. In any case, I thought I would let you know and pass along the song. I hope you enjoy it or some of her other songs. I tried to find it on YouTube but couldn’t. Perhaps the Judy Garland version would be a suitable proxy.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHZGo8pdQcQ

    Something Cool lyrics

    Something cool
I'd like to order something cool
It's so warm here in town and this heat gets me down
    Yes, I'd like something cool

My, it's nice to simply sit and rest awhile
    You know it's a shame
I can't think of your name
    I remember your smile

I don't ordinarily drink with strangers
I guess I usually drink alone
But you were so awfully nice to ask me
And I'm so terribly far from home

Like my dress I must confess it's very old
But it's simple and neat, it's just right for this heat
Save my furs for the cold
A cigarette, no I don't smoke them as a rule
But I'll have one, it might be fun with something cool

I'd bet you wouldn't imagine that I once had a house
With so many rooms you couldn't count them all
I'll bet that you couldn't imagine I had fifteen different boys
Who would beg and beg to take me to a ball

And I know you couldn't picture me
The time I went to Paris in the fall
And who would think the man that I loved
Was quite so handsome and quite so tall

    Well, it's through, it's just a memory I had
One I almost forgot since the weather's so hot
And I'm feeling so bad about a date, oh wait, I'm such a fool
He's just a guy who stopped to buy me something cool

Since I couldn’t find “Something Cool”, I offer up another one by Jane called “Like a Star”.

I never been a fan to follow the life of someone before ... never was interesting for me... but this couple has touched me in a special way ... I stayed totally enchanted since the begin! And I'm enchanted yet! So I understand this girl freaking out... but is sad see how some people can be mad and evil with a little girl just for this... no sense...

    Nice Tuesday Roseland!

    @Freddie
Oh, how lovely of you to think of me when you hear that song, and to post it for me, too! Turnabout is great play.

As for Jane Monheit, I am familiar with her work, and posted a song of hers, back in January. She is terrific. Will continue to follow her career.

You and I have great taste, if I say so myself (and you know I will and do):)

I'll listen and archive it, for sure.

Happy new day, Roseland! Wishing you all a fine week.

  124. Midnight Sun

    June Christy-1953:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmM_OvBc31s&NR=1

Your lips were like a red and ruby chalice,
    Warmer than the summer night.
The clouds were like an alabaster palace,
    Rising to a snowy height.

Each star its own Aurora Borealis,
    Suddenly you held me tight,
I could see the midnight sun.

I can't explain the silver rain that found me,
Or was that a moonlit veil?
The music of the universe around me,
    Or was that a nightingale?

And then your arms miraculously found me,
    Suddenly the sky turned pale,
I could see the midnight sun.

    Was there such a night?
    It's still a thrill I don't quite believe;
    But after you were gone
There was still some stardust on my sleeve!

The flame of it may dwindle to an ember,
And the stars forget to shine,
And we may see the meadow in December,
    Icy white and crystalline.

But oh, my darlin', always I'll remember
When your lips were close to mine,
And I saw the midnight sun.

    Thank you/hottandsweaty

  125. I can't believe that some of the fandom are hating on this poor girl. Please people stop the hate! All I want is for Rob and Kristen to be happy. And please stop all the drama! Don't you think that Rob and Kristen would hate to hear about all this drama and hate! When I read some of these negative comments I just stop reading and move to another more positive site like this one.

  129. Good morning all! Tropical Storm Lee has arrived....I'm up early, getting the kids to school. finally! Only one week late. (Irene was to blame for that)

I just logged on and this was the first thing I saw, from the little girl's uncle. I will black out the names, but it is obvs, to me anyway, she was for real and just a little fan who was excited. This is just how far OVER the lines of decency some people will go:

Message from K$%&i: I will spread all the kind messages! She is not in the mood to speak to anybody, she said she had officially tweeted her last tweet. I mean be realistic, she was a girl who met her two favourite people in the world, and she wanted to share her joy. Kr%^& a has been a family friend since she was four years old, and I am like her uncle. I do not understand why you all need this picture so desperately. It has truly upset her with the comments that people have posted and the way people have turned on her, and she is not liking the media attention, so if you say she is in this for that, you are very wrong. However, I will pass along the messages, thank you for caring about her. She is very sad and very afraid right now. - Eduardo S#$%^.

I honestly cannot believe some would go this far. Poor girl. Roseland is such a nice place. I just wish others who claim to be fans would get a grip and learn some boundaries! (as Rose said much better than I ever could)

    ReplyDelete
  130. sj - I really thought I was past being shocked by anything that goes on in this fandom but this actually made me sick to my stomach. Quite frankly these pathetic excuses for human beings need stringing up.If anyone really needs photographic evidence of someone else's relationship this badly, something which should have no bearing on their life whatsoever and ultimately has absolutely nothing to do with them, then I urge them to seek professional help without delay! It's one thing to be excited to see someone of whom your a fan or to take an interest in whatever they happen to be working on but this kind of rabid behaviour is so far over the line it's actually scary.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I agree with you totally Angelica. I questioned whether I should post that or not, but it has me sick as well. What in the hell is wrong with people? Does it really matter that much? I am a fan of both. I will remain a fan of both....why is that so damn difficult? If you are only a fan of one or the other, fine. Just play nice! Were these people never taught that? (Rhetorical question. Obviously not....)

    sigh.

Good morning roselanders. Looong time lurker, 1st time posting. Are you afraid (of me)? Don't. There are some lovely Roselanders who can vouch for me (I think...) such as la mia bella ragazza Fio, dottie (*wink wink*),RKSoulmates (oi lindona!) and a few non-regs who will recognize my exhuberant style.
Just wanted to stop by and:
Sign under angelica's post (love yr name, it's my mom's too).
thank Freddie for introducing me to that gorgeous voice of Jane M, never saw a foreigner singing in my native language almost w/o accent.
Salute DK and tell her I enjoy her musical taste, looove yr lyrics!
And last but not least, thank Rose for this sane haven you provide us and the very reason why I took the courage to 'come out of the closet' today. This madness has gone too much out of the way *tsk tsk tsk* bashing on a 14 y/o? What's next? Bonfires and pitchforks? Good heavens!

  140. I am still so incredibly angry about the way things turned out for that poor, poor girl. Again, WTF is wrong with these people?!? Thank goodness she has family/friends stepping in to help her deal with the madness. I mean, we all like to see Rob and Kristen together and happy, and we joke about "the drought"....but seriously, who needs more "proof" at this point to know that they are obviously, blissfully, happy TOGETHER?!? What happens to people to make them think that this behavior is in ANY way appropriate? This just makes me sick and so sad for that young girl that only wanted to kindly share her exciting experience with the crazy fandom. (Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now...)

Good morning Roseland....take care everyone, and I hope you all have wonderful Tuesdays. :)

  141. Good morning sjjw, Angelica, Rhonda,Super,Olivia and welcome Musette,
I feel so ashamed for this fandom. I know from coming here that there are some very lovely people that admire Rob and Kristen for what I believe are the right reasons. For the others that have crossed so many lines, I just can't think of the words to describe your behavior. It is pathological.
Wow to take something so special from this young girl and to turn it into something scary is just shameful. Grow the fuck up you crazy MF bitches!
Sorry, was that a bit too much?

    ReplyDelete
  142. Good morning Sj, Rhonda, Angelica, olivia, Birdie, Kay and all I may have missed.

What a sad and disgusting turn of events. A few disgruntled fans have turned that young girl's memorable day into a nightmare for her. A few years ago when my son was a teen he travelled abroad and happened to see a popular american actress. He asked her for a picture and she obliged. He wasn't even a fan of hers but was thrilled to have been able to say he met her.

This little girl realized her dreams of the moment with those picture and now it will forever be tainted because of a hateful bunch of people. It's absolutely disgusting.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Good morning! It's rainy and cold here this morning and I love it!

It's a shame that there are always a few bad apples in every group who ruin it for everyone else. Also, they are always the loudest, so it makes it seem like there's alot more of them than there probably is in reality. I hope Rob and Kristen know that the majority of their fans are not crazy. Some might be a bit over-invested, but for the most part they are well-meaning nice normal people. *not describing anyone here as being overinvested BTW* If I'm wrong and the majority are crazy, please don't tell me! I'd like to stay in my little bubble of denial. :)

PL, you can go ahead and make fun of me for being too cheery! hahaha

Have a great day, Roseland! xoxo

  146. Hi Everybody....Just reading comments on my lunch break. I think that we have "evolved"(de-volved is probably more accurate)into a despicable bunch of human beings...I am not picking on any race of people...I mean everybody..We watch all these "reality shows". That show people behaving badly, kids are bullied at school or on the internet and nobody really does anything about it. Women and children are physically and verbally abused by their husbands or significant other...and nobody is held accountable. This "trouncing" on a young fan is just another example. What has happened to us? Where did compassion go? When did it become okay and politically correct to bash people because they have a different opinion than you? There is too much meanness in this world, too much pushing, shoving, slapping, hitting, and hurting people with verbal assaults. God help us all:( This is a global phenomenon. When I was growing up kids were spanked if they misbehaved...not beaten into submission...parents cared that their children showed respect toward their elders...today nobody respects anybody and it is sickening. I don't know what the answer is...maybe it started when they took prayer out of the schools but we are in serious trouble. That 14 year old fan will never forget what happened to her and we can only hope that she has a lot of good support from friends and family to move past these "Bullies".

    ReplyDelete
  147. Super, I totally agree with you 100% and I wish there was some kind of answer. The thing I've noticed about people is the lack of respect for your fellow neighbor. We've turned into a society that would walk by someone getting beaten on the street and the excuse is always "it's not my problem, why do I need to get involved?" The level of narcissism is unbelievable. People are all about what's in it for me, what can I gain out of helping this person. You can't trust anyone! Trusting your fellow man is long gone and when that's gone, how can you expect anyone to teach respect and love for others? There also used to be social accountability and now no one seems to care how they look to anyone else. They do what they want when they want because again, it's about them and what they gain. Maybe it's the internet? Maybe the easily accessible intrusion into other people's lives and the ability to cheat people so easily through the internet is costing society it's morals and values? The shock factor used to be seeing a woman in her bra. Now we see complete nakedness along with rape in order to be shocked and that isn't even shocking to some so it continues to be upped for viewers which equates to dollars. There are just no limits. Life has become limitless and when that happens there is no decency for another human being's feelings. I'm honestly scared to be raising my children in this world sometimes.

  148. My god nothing ever changes in this fandom now to go even lower by bullying a 14 year old CHILD. I really hope Rob and Kristen do not get wind of these "fans" I am just sick to my stomach reading this today. Thank god I have a LIFE and do not follow every detail of Robs life. I seriously have fear for Rob and Kristen when I hear they have fans like this.

    Hi Rose, Hi Roseland!

  149. Good day, everyone! Great comments.

    @Musette
    Salute to you, too. Welcome.

  150. Hi DK...I hope you are having a good day which will progress into an even better evening! I have a cold today but I am going to prevail somehow:).

    ReplyDelete
  151. @Super
More like I'm keeping busy with the mundane that we all do. Take care of the cold, and I'll be in touch soon.

  152. Great post Rose..
I'm sorry for the little girl as well...
smetimes fandom, haters and shippers as well are just too much..
I did say it! that before rob showing to london everyone was like "Please! I just want to be sure he is there! I wouldn't want pics.."
and then of course this is such a vicious circle and as soon as he appeared all smiley at the airport everyone wanted to have pics of them together...
jeez, people really can't be fucking happy with what they have!!! my god...
leave these two alone and don't attack a little girl who left the camera to her mom's...

    Have a great night/day everyone..
couldn't catch on posts... really not such a great period for me...
    talk to you soon.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Fio- I'm sorry you're going through a tough time right now. I hope things will get better for you soon, take care...((Hugs))

  154. I haven't been following what has happened with this young fan apart from what has been posted here.

The fact that she's 14 and has received abuse and threats from grown women is appalling. I'd like to say that I'm shocked, but I'm not, we've all seen just how warped these freaks are.

These people seriously need to take a long look at themselves, if you're threatening a young girl over the net then you need help, and quick. In fact they should be held accountable for their threats and should be dealt with accordingly i.e prosecuted for cyber bullying.

    @Fio

I hope whatever you're going through it isn't too serious.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Super, Get well soon!

Fio, Whatever is going on, I hope it gets better asap.

    Hello to everyone else :)

    ReplyDelete
  156. I completely agree with the outrage you've all so eloquently verbalized re: the attack and harassment on a 14 yr old child... Truly SHAMELESS... I have a child about that age, and I can only imagine the joy she would feel at seeing one of her "idols," only to be slammed by supposed adults (and strangers at that)! Claire, Motherhin, Super, Birdie, sjjw, angelica, Kay, and so many others on here...thanks for standing up for right vs wrong (Isn't it really as simple as that?)

Fio: Just viewed your newest video... so beautifully done in B&W, and of course the Marcus Foster song is so appropriate :) Hope things are better for you soon!

Extra Hi's sent out to Rhonda, dottie, DK, 30, olivia, OCD, Musette, PL, Freddie, and any and all I might have missed...

*waves* to Syd, Smitty, Gruff, and dear sweet Rose... wishing you all peace & quiet

  157. IB & olivia: Best wishes for the beginning of school!!! Thanks to all of our teachers <3

  158. OH MY1 OH MY! ROSE, this is the worst i have read, no1 no! WTF, have this fan base come too. threating a child, writing mean things to a child, come on people, enough, is enough! i really would love to know if it's grown ass women doing all these senseless things to a child?? OH i hope not, why is it so hard to believe rob and kristen were holding hands. I am so pissed, at how far this has gone, and i feel sad, for the little girl and Rob and Kristen at what they may think of us.I wish there was someway we sane fans, could make up to Kristen and Rob and that little!

  159. Hi ladies,

Despite all the nonsense going on in the fandom, I hope everyone had a good day.

Super - take care. I hope you feel better.

Fio - I also saw your new video and as always, it was a beautiful tribute to Kristen and Rob (and Marcus this time). I'm sorry to hear that things are difficult at the moment. Here's hoping they sort themselves out very soon.

DK - yes, we do have wonderful taste. I should have guessed (or remembered from January) that you already knew of Jane. It's hard to find someone you don't know. How about Nikki Yanofsky?

    http://www.youtube.com/user/A440Entertainment?blend=7&ob=5#p/u/1/QIPNkKEU-u8

Another jazz singer. Young but talented.

IB - I hope your first day back was bearable or that a glass of wine was waiting for you when you got in.

Hope, Olivia and our other friends in Texas - I hope you haven't been threatened by the reported wild fires.

Hi to Vangie, Kenzz, dottie, Rhonda, Claire, 30 , Motherhin, PL, Birdie, Kay, sj, Angelica and everyone else in Roseland. Hope you are all well.

    ReplyDelete
  160. @Freddie
No, I haven't heard Nikki, but now I have thanks to you, darlin'! She can scat like mad, and that is saying a lot. Look forward to more from her. Can't thank you enough. Keep 'em comin'.

  161. Lot of comments tonite! Hadn't heard of his prior to Rose's post, this is the main place for me anymore. Getting the haps 3rd+ hand is OK by me. I got it square between the eyes about this fandom on another site years ago. It's too frustrating. Thanks to Rose and fellow Roselanders for being a collective voice of reason!

    ReplyDelete
  162. What an amusing time I've had all by myself this early am. I've been reading old Roseland posts, and laughing at the funny comments, and good times we've had.

That's why no songs showed up tonight. Nor did anyone else, like Bren, Birdie or Gwen, for late night chats.

I miss you all, and those who were here before, too. It's a lovely way to spend an evening, I say.

The FGM is sleepy, and the wand is fading for the moment. I'll return.

(Cuddles & Coos-for all of you)

Sweet thoughts of Rose, Smitty, Gruff & Syd, send me on my way...zzzz.

  163. Good Morning Friends!

Just a quick in and out...

I made it through Day 1 of meetings. Today I will be with the kiddos.

The weather here in Upstate NY is October-ish.....cool, dark and rainy :(

Hoping this message finds you well in your part of the world.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Good morning y'all. Wednesday already!

    Thank you Kenzz. So kind.

Today is the day IB. Wishing you smiles all day.

Thank you Freddie. On Saturday there was a small 100 acre fire, only burned a shed, that was ignited by a downed power line touching some brush along the highway within city limits. No one hurt, but very scary because of the brisk winds and big gusts and many subdivisions fairly close by. Outside of town, that is another story. Two of the biggest fires that are closest to where I live are about 50 miles to the west southwest, on the way to Austin, and around 40 miles to the south southeast on the way to the Woodlands and Houston. Both areas are densely wooded, and populated.....sadly, many homes have been lost. This drought and high heat have been incredible. Thank goodness the past few days have finally been in the low 90's and only 88 yesterday.

    Take care y'all.
    Hugs all around.

  165. Good Morning Roseland... OLIVIA...thanks for the update...I hope the weather will cool down further and that the fires get under control very soon...Mother Nature surely has her way when she wants to. FIO...I loved the new video and "chin up" and smile...difficult times will always be part of our lives...luckily the good outweighs the bad...be careful who you choose to let into your life...look for quality...not quantity!George Harrison wrote a very good song called Beware of Darkness...those lyrics are great advice...maybe DK could post that for us when she wakes up:). Have a good day everybody.

  166. Hi Rose and everyone else :)

Grown women harassing and attacking a young girl... nothing new here, unfortunately... I'm not surprised...

"This post is brought to you by boundaries. People need to find some."

Yep Rose, to the point, as always!

I'm just going to add that I don't understand why a 14 year old girl has a (unlocked and apparently not supervised) twitter account already... She was excited to have so many new "friends"... what happened to the "don't talk to strangers" thing...? :/

Fio, I love your videos, the newest one is just beautiful!

Great to know that Rob and Kristen are together again... and I don't need pictures to believe it :)

    ReplyDelete
  167. Good morning and happy Wednesday everyone!

Fio- I hope things start looking up soon for you! Life is never easy that's for sure. Hugs!

Haven't seen your latest video but I know I will love it because you do beautiful ones!

Tigerlily- So sorry for your loss. May all the great memories you have together help you during this time.

Freddie/DK- Since you are talking about jazz singers one of my favorite songs is "Misty Blue" by Dorothy Moore. Not sure of you have heard it before.

IB- Good luck today with the kiddos!!

Smitty, Gruff and Syd- Sending out a hello to you!

Gotta jet to work. Take care.

  168. Hello! Just getting caught up on what I missed overnight. *Waves to DK the nightowl*

IB-Hope you have a great day w/the kiddies!

Olivia-I didnt realize you lived close to the fires. Take care.

Super- Your advice to Fio was spot on!

    Have a great HumpDay everyone!

  169. Good Morning!

Olivia...I was wondering how close you are to the wildfires...a little too close. Sending you protective thoughts! The cooler temps have been a Godsend!

    Freddie...thanks for thinking of us!

    IB...Wishing you a happy
    1st Day of School!

    Super...Are you feeling better?

Fio...Love your new video. Take care of yourself., okay?!

  170. Hi Roselanders *shaking head*
Can someone pls warn this little 14 y/o girl mamma about those pathetic beings that inhabit 'our' world?
WE are tough girls, we manage it but...does SHE know what they are capable of? Can someone tell her what they did to Del on one of her worst moments? Can someone tell her all about the threats K gets?
I don't know...maybe my perception fr down here is different *don't think so* but allowing her daughter to place a vid on YT? Excuse me????

    *deep breath* Good day Roselanders!

Freddie/DK the things I learn f/you guys WOW! Right when I met Jane M you push Nikky Y - her rendition of Vancouver Winter Games is to die for!
I'm listening to her YT list as BG whilst am typing, how can this all come fr such a thin, young frame? Amazing!

  172. Good day, All!

    @Hope
Thanks, and yes, I am getting settled but still have TOO MUCH stuff!

    @Super
I'll post the Harrison song soon.

    @Melinda
It's been years and years, since I've heard or thought of Dorothy Moore and Misty Blue. I was a young pup back then.
Such a fine version, am so glad you brought it up, I'll post it.

    @Olivia
I wasn't aware of the wildfires being so widespread. Wishing you safety and also for those in the areas affected.

    @Fio
They have become very vigilant on YT, for the copyright violations and I am sorry your latest video was shut down, too.
I did watch it, and thought it was very different and interesting. You've got real talent that cannot be shut down!

    See you all, later...

Oh, it's been such a long long time
Looks like I got you off of my mind
But I can't, just the thought of you
Turns my whole world misty blue

Oh honey, just the mention of your name
Turns a flicker to a flame
    Listen to me good baby
I think of the things we used to do
And my whole world turns misty blue

Ohhhh, baby I should forget you
    Heaven knows I've tried
Baby, when I said that I'm glad we're through
Deep in my heart I know I've lied
    I've lied, I've lied

    Ohhh, no I can't no I can't
    I can't forget you
My whole world turns misty blue

    Ohhhh My love
My whole world turns misty blue

  175. For Super

    Beware Of Darkness

George Harrison-1971 [The Concert For Bangladesh]
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBxbWkf4z-E

    Watch out now, take care
    Beware of falling swingers
    Dropping all around you

    The pain that often mingles
    In your fingertips
    Beware of darkness

    Watch out now, take care
Beware of the thoughts that linger
    Winding up inside your head
    The hopelessness around you
    In the dead of night

    Beware of sadness
    It can hit you
    It can hurt you
Make you sore and what is more
That is not what you are here for

    Watch out now, take care
    Beware of soft shoe shufflers
    Dancing down the sidewalks
    As each unconscious sufferer
    Wanders aimlessly
    Beware of Maya

    Watch out now, take care
    Beware of greedy leaders
They take you where you should not go
    While weeping Atlas Cedars
They just want to grow, grow and grow
Beware of darkness (beware of darkness)

    Thank you/tblw111

  176. @Olivia, I live in Texas but 3 hours south of where the fires are. I cannot imagine what the people there are going through. Stay safe.

@Super, I think the video was pulled because the song has some copyright stuff going on.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Hi MOTHERHIN...I was wondering why FIOS and not others....they all use somebodys stuff! Wonder if it was the footage from the new music video??? maybe it was them??

    ReplyDelete
  178. MOTHERHIN..sorry..I see thats what you were saying...

    ReplyDelete
  179. Hey ladies, thanks everyone.
I'm glad you liked the video... it was a challenge making it...
But i was not surprised to see it shut down...
It was saying that it was copyrighted and they were considering my "claim of fair use"... but didnt go well hehe.
    Never mind...
It's just ironically funny that i got my first strike using a song that is actually connected to them! lmao.
Well from now on am gonna use only covers or un-copyrighted stuff hehe.
Anyway just wanted to thank you for your nice words..
I'm coming out from a big "friendship" disappointment...
And here's where the breathing problem comes from..
i'm taking an anxiolytic now cause it doesn't seem to go away alone..
Like.. I start crying and shaking.. fingers trembling and I don't know what to do...
    i don't know what's happening to me...
night seems the only perfect time of the day cause when i sleep i finally pull all the thoughts away...
I wish I could just let this all go...
But, anyway.. sorry for annoying you.
Hope you all have a great day.

Hugs to Smitty, Syd and Gruff.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Fio - You sound really sad, I'm sorry you're having a rough time. I'm sure no one here finds you the least bit annoying

    ReplyDelete
  181. Fio, it sounds like you are having anxiety attacks which are very common in young women your age. I've had them before and it can be very scary. When it happens do your best not to panic and make it worse. Just try to relax and take deep breaths and keep reminding yourself that it will pass.

I'm so sorry you've had a friendship disappointment. It will get easier, I promise. Hugs to you!

*If you keep having these spells after a few more weeks I think I'd go back to the Dr and see if there is anything they can give you to help.

    ReplyDelete
  182. Fio- Awww, you're not annoying us at all. I'm sorry things are so tough right now. You hang in there, it gets better...((Hugs))

DK, Freddie & Melinda- I'm loving all the jazz tunes :)

Super- I'm sending you get well wishes :)

Olivia, Hope, Motherhin- Take care, stay safe.

I hope everyone had/is having a nice day. Lots of love :)
