Kristen is acutely aware of all the gossip-mongers. Far more so than I am, it seems. She knows about names: the “Robstens” (those who think K-Stew” and R-Patz” are together); the “Nonstens” (those fans who think they aren’t) and the “F***stens” (those who say they don’t give a monkey’s either way - but actually really do). I ask her who it is such a big deal to? These deranged fans? To her and Rob? What is it she’s so worried about?

Oh, I was certainly happy last night. I remained at work a good two hours past when I normally leave waiting for the entire interview to come out and enjoying the positive reactions.
The negative ones were, of course, expected. But you're right: who cares? Doesn't change anything, never has, never will. We all already knew this as fact anyway. Kristen didn't CONFIRM anything for me.
I enjoyed EVERYTHING she said in this interview. And the interviewer sure seemed to like her. As is the case with pretty much every person who has ever actually met her. She's just very impressive.

What's even funnier to me is when she says "It's so obvious!" Do you all remember the MTV interview when Rob was quoting Kristen saying "It's so obvious!" in his ENGLISH accent. Rob and Kristen are absolutely adorable and that is all there is to it!
Besides the obvious goodness, I thought the GQ article was fantastic....the interviewer really seemed to "get" Kristen and she was so funny, confident, sassy and HAPPY....loved it!

The only time he ever had any scoop was during actual filming and only before Rob and Kristen froze Nikki out. Ted used to talk mad shit about her, and then one day he did a 180. Yeah, wonder why. I don't really know anything about Ted. I watched a video he did a while back, and that was more than enough for me.
She was also asked how Twilight has helped her further her career (or words to that affect). Her response was that it has given her time to decide whether she wants to continue in film, pursue a TV career, or write a novel. So in other words, it hasn't furthered her career at all, because it seems that nobody wants to employ her.

I've read the comments once, a few weeks ago and I was shocked at just how poisonous they were. E! really needs to get a handle on that place, it seems to be a safe haven for some of the most vile, unhinged, homophobic people on the planet.
I don't know if any of you follow NR on Twitter but something I've noticed is whenever there are a bunch of tweets about the "fab couple," NR never fails to tweet something about herself. She just cannot stay out of their limelight. She will hang on for dear life with her claws of steel until every single ounce of limelight she can possibly steal from them is gone.
I don't know the story obviously but it really did seem as if she was creating publicity for two people that don't want that kind of publicity and then if they didn't want their story sold to the media, their only option was to cut that person out. Not going to lie, I'm extremely surprised that NR hasn't gone to some source to out Kris and Rob for cash. I wonder when that day will come.
i think nikki reed is a decent actress. i actually think she makes a good Rosalie. Its sad that she craves fame and attention. i like Kristen and Dakota's frienship.

Have not been able to drop by the past few days. I went back to work on Tuesday, after having two weeks vacation.

Finally read the full GQ interview. IMO the best interview with Kristen to date. The interviewer seems to have done his research, he also remained interested and objective throughout. Most importantly, he allowed Kristen to respond and express her thoughts and opinions. Kristen's answers were once again honest and insightful.
Besides the obvious, this is my favourite quote: "I'm glad I'm not one of those actresses who is just so ready to open up for everyone". Perfect!

Whew...What a day I have had...they are almost finished with the outside redo of deck and patio, the carpet cleaners came,hubby was home directing all the activities while I was at business..of course first thing this morning the battery was dead in my car so hubby had to transport me and get that fixed for me...son had to take me to my hair appt this afternoon...he was thrilled (eyeroll)..luckily by the end of the day I got my car back and had dinner and saw the baby so I am in for the night and ready to party with Roseland for a while:)

this will probably be my last post for a while as my surgery has been moved up to this coming wed.
so my two cents:
first of all thanks to all of you for being so thoughtful and keeping me in your prayers
--my boyfriend is english--this made me smile. i've given a lot of thought as to why i care so much about this couple and i really believe the thing is we get to see two people actually being in love with each other and it really is fun to watch
also, to continue a conversation we started earlier, absolutely teachers are underpaid. but, let's face it we live in a market based economy and there is no market for teaching. we simply don't value teaching the way we should.
but you will never hear me complaining about it. a market based economy is the logical system in a democracy. and i agree with winston churchill who said "democracy is the worst form of govt. there is.....except for all the others"
besides if we didn't live this way we would have never had rob and kristen come into our lives
one last thing, a lot of people are giving this girl shit about saying her teachers failed her and i know she meant "gave me a failing grade" but the truth is they failed her in every sense of the word
IN MY OPINION, if i had a student, a child, who had the opportunity to pursue a career in acting, i would find a way no matter how much it inconvenienced me to help her, to build her up, not shoot her down

the truth is while i can't say i am excited about having a hole drilled in my head while i am awake [my surgeon said "we will start with a local anasthetic and for 30 seconds you will hear the sound of an electric drill and your head will vibrate and from then on it's a cakewalk" to which i said "alrighty then"], i really just want to get it over with and start living my life again.
Robert: Does it highlight a character flaw of mine that I laughed out loud at your description of your convo with your surgeon? I prefer to view my reaction as a direct result of your wit and humor in the face of indescribable anxiety...
Based on the numerous medical specialists I've dealt with over the years in the care of my son, I've developed a (hopefully healthy) attitude when interacting with the folks in the medical field... That point of view has saved me a nervous breakdown, I'm sure! LOL
Seriously, I can attest to the fact that a positive attitude really can affect the end results... thankfully, you appear to have that in spades! Best of luck from me, and I'm certain this forum will rally to not only support your increase in function, but pray for your ultimate and complete recovery.
Robert- i join kenzz in saying that you really are the example of what a teacher should be... and your devotion to something so pure is just the prove of how sensitive you are.
I'm sure everything will be okay with the surgery.

Kenzz- thank you... she was a crossbreed as well..
We never really knew what cause we always take dogs saving them from the street...
surely one half was a spitz... the other half may have been a chihuahua but we are not sure..
My dad just got it from a box that was at the vet... She was so little at the time that my sister thought it was a rat LOL

I got my dog from a shelter, she has really fluffy fur but when we washed her for the first time in the bath tub she also looked like a rat.. she was so malnourished.. but now she has gained all the weight back and even some more LOL
