I've been AWOL the last couple of days.
It wasn't on purpose.
There was so much going on in my life...
and then I came here and tried like hell to catch up.
I failed.
Miserably.
There were just too many pictures to look at...
Too many interviews to watch...
Too
Much
Goodness.
And let's not forget the giggles.
Endless giggles.
Chuckles.
Guffaws.

Pushed toward the fans to sign...

Pushed to the microphones...
I realized those people are just doing their jobs
'handling' Rob and Kristen...
Getting them where they need to be
Doing what they need to do.
But my goodness.
How do they not get dizzy with all the pushing
and the shoving and the screaming
and the shouting and the inane reporters
asking the same inane questions?
It made me nauseous just watching some of it.

Rob and Kristen looked so AMAZING in the LA premier!! Rob looked devilishly handsome in that suit and Kristen looked exquisite in that J Mandel dress, (and I must say that Rob's colour suit complimented Kristen's dress colour perfectly) but more importantly, Rob and Kristen looked happy.
It's SO OBVIOUS that the 'so ridiculous' comment that Rob made was a reaction to the interviewer question...and the people who think otherwise are just f**king IDIOTS.

I think that Insider guy's question was super cheesy. So I'm glad Rob gave him the response he did.
Love what Bill stated. He seemed to be sensitive about what R/K may be feeling in regards to the intimacy scenes and what not. Really like him the best of all the directors for many reasons.
Also I saw your tweet abt Dean and John. I had this image go through my head of the two of them clothes lining haters when they get out of hand. Oh how I wish that was possible!
There are some seriously deranged people in this fandom no matter where their "allegiance" lies. I try not to let it get to me but sometimes I worry.

Kristen absolutely glowed in that dress. I think I remember saying "wow" aloud when I saw her walk out. And the close-up shots of Rob are breathtaking - truly.

This movie is truly perfection! :')
I cried in 3 scenes. The beginning is very light and happy and the wedding is soooo emotional! and the second part is so touching and gaaaah! can't wait for you all to see it!
@Claire- it's true that you can't really see anything of e/b dancing. just a gilmpse and then off to Jacob. And also there's no scene of Edward throwing jacob against the wall. It was cut out...

OMG Rose. I just saw the pictures of the new photoshoot for EW! No one can look at these pictures and not know that Rob and Kristen are together. The mag comes out this Friday. I definitely will go Friday to get this magazine. It has some great stills from Breaking Dawn in it too.
ReplyDeleteDOTTIE.. I fix a box of Jiffy Corn Muffins accoeding to the directions and buy a bag of Pepperidge Farm Seasoned Stuffing. Then I melt a stick of butter and saute diced mushrooms, onions and celery. Then I crumble the corn muffins and add the rest in a big bowl and then add Chicken Broth to it til it seems moist. Then I bake it in the oven 350/30 mins.

ReplyDeleteOk, this is a super recipe if you like cornbread with sausage stuffing:
Ingredients:
1 lb chorizo or other firm sausage
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup carrot/ chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 Tbs chopped fresh sage
1 Tbs chopped fresh thyme
1 Tbs chopped fresh oregano
2 1/2 cups low-salt chicken broth
12 cups cubed cornbread
Butter a 9X12 in baking dish. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Fry chorizo in pan until browned and crumbly, breaking up with the back of a wooden spoon (bout 5 min). Drain on paper towels.
Melt butter or olive oil in fry pan over medium heat; saute onion, celery, & carrot for 10 minutes until crisp/tender... add cilantro, sage, thyme, oregano, and garlic; cook for 2 minutes.
Add chorizo and 2 cups of broth to pan; bring to boil. Remove from heat.
In large mixing bowl, combine cornbread and chorizo/veggie mix, just until moistenwed. Add broth as desired to achieve preferred consistency. Season with salt/pepper.
Bake in baking pan for 10 minutes, covered with foil. Uncover, and cook 5-10 minutes longer.
I just came back from watching BD, Australia is premiering the movie now. Took work off and dragged my hubby to watch. Don't want to tease whose haven't got the chance to watch it but I still high from it and bursting with thoughts. I have to agree with Fio, Turning Page is such a fitting song for the scene. I don't want to be a spoiler so I just say Bella indeed made a beautiful bride and Kristen was so moving in couple of the scenes it gives me goosebumps and Rob was so heartbreaking so gals remember to bring a box of kleenex with you. You will enjoy it!

Oh boy oh boy....
That statement 'YOU AI'NT SEEN NOTHIN YET' keeps ringing in my ears...
Never a truer word spoken in my opinion... the more we see of Rob and Kristen, now that the saga filming is finished, ... the more we *really see* of the real love between our awesome couple!
I am over the moon... I feel so privilidged to witness the real life love and affection between Rob and Kris... it is very hard to put into words in one sentence. So I will just say... thank you Rob & Kris for proving to the world that true love conquers all!
And I still think *WE AI'NT SEEN IT ALL YET*! Little by little the revelations appear.
I absolutely loved both premiers... but I do think London's premier was superior... They did not have 1001 *wanna be* stars crowding the carpet around the the premier's stars...(that for me is a major plus)... I so detest having to put up with all the hanger's on who are their for their own exposure and strutt about like they are the stars which said premier is all about.
So London was wonderful... clear shots of the stars we wanted to see! Well organised, and I loved the soundtrack playing in the background.
Rob & Kristen are truly gifted... in spirit as much as in talent... they are both stunningly beautiful and are truly a *match made in heaven* in my book!
I cannot recall any other actors whose candid pictures look as good as the touched up/air brushed magazine pics.
How about Kristen's dress folks?? Didn't she look devine! I also loved the blue one from LA premier... Kristen's fashion sense is growing in leaps and bounds and I am so impressed!
Oops... I could wax lyrical all day on our bb's. bit this post is getting too long (so sorry)... so, anyway... shutting up now.

The London premiere was fantastic! Rob and Kristen did a fabulous job and looked AMAZING together...I am so glad that Kristen was able to arrange her schedule so that she could be there with Rob and Taylor. I loved, loved, loved Kristen's dress...she was absolutely stunning in it! :)

ReplyDeleteMajor props to the UK for putting together a controlled and organized event! It was much more enjoyable to watch and so beautifully done.
Kristen's London dress has now become my favorite dress I've seen on her! Both Rob and Taylor looked dashing!
Overall it was another spectacular night! (And a crazy person getting the boot before it began was just icing on the cake)!!
Can wait till tomorrow night when I see BD! PL, I agree with you about going with fellow Roselanders. It would be fun.

as for the denial, it a load of crap. it shows how delusional those people are, still in denial

Dottie: Paula Dean tweeted her recipe for Southern Cornbread Stuffing yesterday. Here is the recipe:

Cook Time: 1 hour 35 min
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients Add to grocery list
Cornbread, recipe follows
7 slices oven-dried white bread
1 sleeve crackers (recommended: Saltine)
8 tablespoons butter
2 cups chopped celery
1 large onion, chopped
7 cups chicken stock
1 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon sage, optional
1 tablespoon poultry seasoning, optional
5 eggs, beaten
Cornbread:
1 cup self-rising cornmeal
1/2 cup self-rising flour
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine crumbled cornbread, dried white bread slices, and saltines; set aside.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the celery and onion and cook until transparent, approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Pour the vegetable mixture over cornbread mixture. Add the stock, mix well, taste, and add salt, pepper to taste, sage, and poultry seasoning. Add beaten eggs and mix well. Pour mixture into a greased pan and bake until dressing is cooked through, about 45 to 60 minutes.
Cornbread:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour batter into a greased shallow baking dish. Bake for approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
