Rob and Kristen-- All Will Away in the Bucking.

Riding in cars with boys...

So gather round ye water cooler...
and lets see what happened over the weekend
in the
TWILIGHT ZONE!

Well...
Some people are still clinging to the whole Caitlin thing.
Oops.
I mean Reese.
Wait.
Ashley.
Shit.
Hell...
Who was it who sat in a car with Rob?
You remember... right?

Come on... We can squish a few more people in...

Oh it doesn't really matter, does it?
Nope.
Because whenever Rob isn't in the same zip code as Kristen
He is automatically WITH any female he happens
to share the same air with.
Emilie.
Reese.
Caitlin.
Ashley.
Sarah.
It doesn't matter who really...
as long as its NOT Kristen.
 Robert never did anything inappropriate
with any of the above...
Besides being in a work situation.
(unlike his consistent kissing/living with/hand-holding with Kristen)
So I guess the desperate will continue to ...
well...
Be desperate.
ABK indeed.

Whose burning who?

I've been getting a lot of email telling me who to follow...
or not follow.
Really?
First off...
Who goes through someones 'follow' list?
Second off...
Why do you care who I follow or not?
Third off...
Maybe some of you prefer surrounding yourself
with all the same same same on Twitter...
(ZZZzzZzZZzzZ wake me up before you go go)
But I actually prefer a little difference of opinion.
The occasional change of pace.
How one dimensional are you?
Not everyone I follow is because I like them.
In fact...
There are quite a few people I don't really care for
that I kinda find interesting .
So.
Please.
Monitor yourself.
I'm pretty sure there isn't any such thing
as the Twitter Police.
Fourth off.
I don't care who you follow.
I really don't.
But if you tell me NOT to follow someone...
that almost immediately makes them more interesting to me.
It's a vicious cycle.

Exit Strategy? BWA.HA.HA.HA.HA!

Rob is that YOU?
Oh dear.
Oh my.
People so want to know where Robert is right now.
Is he in LA eating Taco Bell?
Is he holding hands with Kristen in London?
Again.
I love how people clutch onto these random tweets.
If it puts Rob FAR away from London
then he must be the guy sitting in that bar!
If it puts Rob next to Kristen
then he must be holding her hand at an afterparty.
Geez.
Louise.
And then you have to put up with all the
self righteous indignation
from the 'know-it-all" soapboxers.
Shut up.

ANYway...

December/January
are the most magical months
of the Rob/Kristen year!
(Is that true? Not sure... but they are usually FUN!)

First kiss of the New Year!
Where is Robert?
Where is Kristen?

It doesn't matter...
It ALL comes out in the wash.

Washer Machine...

"We'll find out sooner or later what's going on,
and we needn't worry about it now."

Something like that.

Besides people...
Come on now.
You know the truth.
It's right in front of your nose.
Look.
See it?

Damage Control? Bwa.Ha.Ha.Ha.Ha.Ha.Ha!

Rob and Kristen.
Together.
As always.
Sooner.
Later.
Now.
Then.

This post is brought to you by Kismet.

Fate.
Destiny.

That is Robert and Kristen.

And by Tom Sturridge.

367

I think it was kismet
that I would adore him so.
Because here I am.
Adoring him.

So let it be written.
So let it be done.

Bye for now

    Hey there Freddie & IB!

  4. Rose - I was getting quite aggravated by the hysterical screeching from the prophets of doom lately but then I realise I'm so grateful not to be them,I just don't even care about their idiotic warblings.

  29. How is everyone this evening? I think we need some more recipes so here's an easy but popular one.

    Turkey Roll-ups
    3 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
    1 tsp Worcheshire sauce
    1 tsp barbecue sauce
    Very thinly sliced deli turkey

Mix ingredients. Spread mixture on one side of slice of turkey. Roll up and chill. Serve whole or cut in half depending on size of sliced meat.

  32. Hello Everyone! Great post Rose and the pictures are perfect!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Love the pictures and once again keeping it real. I worry for society sometimes.

Sending happy thoughts out to Rob, Kristen, and Tom. I hope that life is being good to them.

Hope everyone has had a great start to the week. The holiday is getting closer and it seems like things just keep piling up.

So for a little chuckle to balance out the stress of the holidays I wanted to share the following links:

    http://ksibtu.com/2011/12/09/breaking-down-breaking-dawn-part-2/

CC,the KSIBTU blog creator, wrote her thoughts on BD. It's really funny if you haven't read it.

On that note, I'm going to catch up on some reading. I downloaded The Angel Esmeralda in November but haven't had a chance to tackle it yet.

  34. I'm back from the shopping trip from hell...here's the trouble...after nursing three kids, um, "the girls" give me trouble...they don't want to fit where they are suppose to so if I could cut a dress in two and sew a smaller bottom to a bigger top I would be golden...so...I am going the skirt and fancy top route...I found a pretty festive red top with silver thread through it that should work...now I just have to track down a black cami....can ya ever win? Of course, this is what I get for being Johnny come lately.

Freddie~If I hit the jackpot we will all be flying somewhere for that Roseland Roundup that we always talk about :)

I had just come back from seeing the movie again (5th time), so to read her in depth scene-for-scene analogies & connections with it being fresh in my mind was quite fun. Love CC ("Cynically Conival" LOL)--this girl's a riot, insightful, & into good clean fun! Looking forward to part 3 (should be today)! :D

    Mariah Carey:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sx7Es9DDblA

I need a lover to give me
    The kind of love
    That would last always
    I need somebody uplifting
    To take me away

I want a lover who knows me
Who understands how I feel inside
Someone to comfort and hold me
    Through the long lonely nights
    Till the dawn
Why don't you take me away

    Dream lover come rescue me
Take me up take me down
Take me anywhere you want to baby now
    I need you so desperately
    Won't you please come around
    'Cause I wanna share forever
    With you baby

    I don't want another pretender
To disillusion me one more time
    Whispering words of forever
    Playing with my mind

I need someone to hold on to
The kind of love that won't fly away
I just want someone to belong to
    Everyday
    Of my life
    Always
So come and take me away

  48. Christmas Dream

    Perry Como:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OREM7kXDycc

Watch me now, here I go
All I need is a little snow!
Starts me off, sets the theme
Helps me dream my Christmas dream

    Every year I dream it
    Hoping things will change
    An end to the crying
    The shouting, the dying

And I hope you will dream it too!
    It's Christmas,
    Remember?
    We've got to remember!

    So, light the light
    I'm home tonight
I need you to warm me
To calm me, to love me!
    To help me to dream
    My Christmas dream!

    Crazy things, said an' done,
    Every single day but one!
    Every night should, I believe,
Be the same as Christmas Eve,

    Nights should all be silent
    Days should all slow down
    An end to the hurry
    The noise and the worry!
And I hope you believe that too!

    It's Christmas,
    Remember?
    Does no one remember?

    The whole world needs
    A Christmas dream
We need it to warm us
To calm us, to love us
    To help us to dream
    Our Christmas dream!

    Thank you/gsw55

  49. Dog Days Are Over

    Florence & The Machine:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFOZ-IPwW3U

Happiness hit her like a train on a track
Coming towards her stuck still no turning back

She hid around corners and she hid under beds
She killed it with kisses and from it she fled
With every bubble she sank with her drink
And washed it away down the kitchen sink

    The dog days are over
    The dog days are done
    The horses are coming
    So you better run

Run fast for your mother, run fast for your father
Run for your children, for your sisters and brothers

Leave all your love and your longing behind
You can't carry it with you if you want to survive

    The dog days are over
    The dog days are done
    Can you hear the horses?
    'Cause here they come

And I never wanted anything from you
Except everything you had and what was left after that too, oh

Happiness hit her like a bullet in the back
Struck from a great height by someone who should know better than that

    The dog days are over
    The dog days are done
    Can you hear the horses?
    'Cause here they come

Run fast for your mother, run fast for your father
Run for your children, for your sisters and brothers
Leave all your love and your longing behind
You can't carry it with you if you want to survive

    The dog days are over
    The dog days are done
    Can you hear the horses?
    'Cause here they come

I see Kristen arrived safely in LA. Bet she is happy to be home. Hopefully she can rest up and enjoy the holiday.

Angelica- If memory serves me correctly the concert was last night. Hope you had a blast!

Groovie- Safe travels tomorrow when you head to Vegas. Hope you have lots of fun. Who wouldn't really, it's Vegas, right??? :)

IB- Glad you found something to wear to the hubs Christmas party. Hope ya'll have a great time.

  53. So, Sarah Roemer, who nobody knew until last week, is up 1.319 (!) on IMDB starmeter this week. She's now on the top 500. Pretty good for a D-list actress! Interesting.
I wonder if Rob was really set up by this girl and/or those producers or if he knew that the papps had been called and was "ok" with that, to create buzz for a possible future project with this girl.
I really hope he didn't know, that would be really disappointing.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hi Melinda - Yes it was and we had a great time thank you!

Jo - With all due respect, why even look her up on IMDB and why bother to continue flogging this long-dead horse, which was totally irrelevant in the first place?

  55. I've had a lovely couple of days, last night I went to watch my son playing one of the Wise Men in his school Nativity play, and this morning I went to see my daughter in her pre-school Christmas sing along and she even sang a little solo which was a nice surprise for me! I'm well and truly in the mood for Christmas now :0)

  56. Hi guys I'm so sorry I'm late for the recipe thing but it's been a little crazy but I was reading today n saw some yummy stuff n I'm for sure gonna try alot of them. Okay this I found last year when I was looking for a dessert to make for thanksgiving n this was on the Godiva page. I been making it since n everyone loves it! Okay I have to go but I wish u all a very happy Christmas n a great new years! Hope ur all good n happy

Chocolate flan with dulce de leche cream

    Caramel for Flan:
    1 cup sugar
    3/4 cup water

    Chocolate Flan:
5 bars (1.5 ounces each) Godiva® Dark Chocolate, coarsely chopped
    2 1/2 cups milk
    5 eggs, at room temperature
    2/3 cup sugar
    1 tablespoon Godiva® Chocolate Liqueur
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons instant espresso powder, dissolved in 2 teaspoons hot water

    Dulce de Leche Cream:
    2 cups milk
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/8 teaspoon baking soda
    1 cup heavy cream

    Make Caramel:
Position rack in center of oven and preheat to 325ºF.  Arrange 6 ramekins in a roasting pan or large baking dish.  In a small heavy-bottomed saucepan, mix sugar with 1/2 cup water.  Cook over medium high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.  Stop stirring. Increase heat to high and cook until mixture caramelizes and turns light amber color.  Remove pan from heat and gradually and very carefully add remaining water.  Stir to blend. Carefully pour hot caramel evenly among the ramekins. Set aside.

    Make Chocolate Flan:
    1.  Place chocolate in large bowl and set aside.

    2.  Heat milk in large saucepan until small bubbles begin to form around edge (but not boiling). Remove from heat and pour over chocolate. Let stand 1 minute. Whisk until melted and smooth.

    3.  In another large bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar until blended; gradually whisk in chocolate mixture, liqueur, vanilla extract and espresso mixture.  Strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve, then divide it evenly amound the ramekins.  Pour hot water into roasting pan so that it comes halfway up side of ramekins.  Bake flans in water bath for 35 minutes or until center is just set.  Transfer to wire rack and cool completely.  Chill until ready to serve.

    Make Dulce de Leche Cream:
    1. In a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat milk to a boil.  Reduce to a simmer and add sugar and baking soda.  Simmer for about 25 minutes, stirring frequently with a heat resistant silicon spatula until milk becomes thick and resembles a light caramel sauce. Remove from heat and cool completely.

    2. In bowl of electric mixer, using whisk attachment, beat heavy cream to soft peaks.  Remove bowl from mixer stand and gently fold milk mixture into whipped cream.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.

    3. To serve: run a paring knife around edge of each flan to loosen. Dip bottom of ramekin in very hot water for about 15 seconds. Unmold onto dessert plate, letting caramel drip over top.  Serve each with a dollop of dulce de leche cream on top.

  60. Hello Roseland,

    Angelica, very well said!

    Claire, LOL at your gift!

    Emilia, your recipe sounds delicious!

Wishing everyone a happy day. Take care.

  61. Long-dead horse and irrelevant? Lol.
Yeah, that girl being up 1.319 on IMDB starmeter in one week and being described everywhere as "Robert Pattinson's rumoured girlfriend" really shows that this story was totally irrelevant! *sarcasm*

It definitely shows that it happened to fill someone's agenda.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I think it happened because some people in this fandom are delusional fuckwits.........A man gets into a car with five people and suddenly all hell breaks loose BUT he's consistently seen with one woman and .........that means nothing. Get real!

Dear God! The idiocy/ stupidity/desperation makes me cringe.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Jo:
If it happened to fill someone's agenda I don't know, but you only add fuel to something that is more than irrelevant.

    ReplyDelete
  64. @Leni: It's way past irrelevant!
Makes one wonder why some people want to keep it in play.

    ReplyDelete
  65. @Annie:
I'm kinda glad that I don't understand how their minds work LOL

    ReplyDelete
  66. Hum... did I say that I think Rob is a cheater and he's dating that girl? Did I say that I think he's not with Kristen? Hum... No!
What happened was not irrelevant because it was (and still is) talked everywhere. And it's not only the "fandom" that is talking about it. FYI, I hate seeing people calling Rob a cheater!

    ReplyDelete
  67. @Jo:
If you hate all the talk about it, then STOP talkink about it yourself. Easy solution.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Jo - I actually only see it talked about amongst a very small group of people who have very clear agendas,I also don't see it "everywhere", other than the rags who used it last week now preparing their "backtrack" stories because Kristen's home so it will be very obvious it was crap.

Since you seem to acknowledge that talking about it perpetuates it, why did you choose to talk about it here whre no one else was?

If people in the fandom would stop talking about it and thereby providing fuel for the media bottom feeders, it would have been providing toilet space for someone's pet hamster a week ago!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Angelica you are on top form today, again well said!!

The only way these rubbish tabloids work is if people repeat there lies, therefore the answer is DON'T TALK ABOUT IT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Jo even though you didn't say he was a cheater, you are keeping a story going by even mentioning it, which brings us right back to the dead horse!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Angelica and Leni: Are you familiar with the children's book, If
You Give A Mouse a Cookie?.........for some reason Jo's comment makes me think of that book.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Jo - It's a non story concocted from harmless pics to fill space in mags. And yes, it is irrelevant. It's not your relationship so you have nothing to worry about.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Hi dear Rose and Roseland,
Just a quick peek in hoping someone can help with the following.....

So happy, I picked up my copy of BD I The Score by Carter Burwell yesterday. Absolutely beautiful. Here is the question....

The liner notes with the credits include:
    Solo Vocalist:
    Lizzie Pattinson

On which track does she perform? The entire score is instrumental. Listed is also a Male Choir group called the Metro Voices with six gentleman named. Do their voices just blend in as instruments? ( So obvious that I am not a "vocalist", nor a musician.)

    Thanks.
    Hugs for y'all.
    Will peek in this evening.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Olivia - Lizzie was the voice in the music during the Twilight cafeteria scene when the Cullen's were first introduced (per Catherine in the commentary). Was that music used during the montage at the end? Just a thought, I am really not sure.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Dear Kay,
Thank you. Yes, I went back and listened to the Twilight score and on track two, where the Cullens walk into the cafeteria, you can hear a voice singing with the music. I will go back and listen more closely to the BD score and see if I can hear her on one of the tracks.
    Appreciate your help! : )
    Hugs.

  75. Hey folks,

I hope everyone is well and having a good couple of days.

IB – have a great time tonight. I’m sure you will dazzle.

Melinda – I’m late to the party, but thanks for posting the links to the KSIBTU blog. Very funny.

    DK – I’m thinking of you too….

Kay and Olivia – I totally learned something new. I never knew that Lizzie Pattinson sang on the Twilight soundtrack. I’ve been hoping I could hear more of her work. What I have heard I’ve really enjoyed.

    Angelica – great responses today.

ali mac – what a great way to get in the Christmas mood. Christmas pageants and concerts always did it for me. I’m sure you were proud.

Groovie – enjoy Vegas with your sister. Hope she has a great birthday.

Hi to all the regulars, newbies and absent friends. Have a nice evening everyone.

  76. Hi FREDDIE and ALL...

I think Lizzie does some work with Carter Burwell and so its not surprising since Carter is back that she is as well...

I am just loving the soundtrack more and more...I play it every moment that I am in my car...I have all the soundtracks for the series and I love them even more when I can remember how they are worked in to the scenes...

I have so looked forward to this movie and when I see the Rio scene..Im like, I was on the computer watching the pics roll in the night that they filmed that...so it has some sentimental value to me...just basking in the whole experience:)

    ReplyDelete
  77. Hi Super - hope you are well. How's it going?

    Still lovin' your avi. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Hi FREDDIE...

Haha..Im loving it too..but hubby says I cant have Edward in our bedroom..that is where he draws the line...Oh well:)

    ReplyDelete
  79. FREDDIE..The weather here today was almost tropical feeling...everybody is sick...cold one day, windy the next, hot the next day after that...how is the weather up there in Canada?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Oh Super - LOL about Edward in the bedroom. I can understand why he would object.

The weather is very weird at the moment. We haven't had any snow yet. Tomorrow it's getting warm with rain and then on Friday it's dropping down to almost zero.

I like a little snow for Chrismas, but selfishly I'm hoping it doesn't snow until closer to Christmas - after I've made it to my folks place.

I assume this will be a special Christmas with your new grandson. Any special plans?

    ReplyDelete
  81. FREDDIE...Gosh, that is mild weather for you guys...but zero is coming so...lol...bundle up and werent you sick recently??? I hope you are feeling fully recovered.

All my family is close by so we will see eachother. It will be fun with the grandson...he is too cute for words...unbelievable ...thanks for asking.

Just had popped over to Robstenation and see some pics of Kris coming home for the holidays..How wonderful...we have her back with "us" for a while..

    Welcome home KRISTEN!!!!

  82. Hi guys,

Just peeking in quickly to say hello..

Angelica- ITA with your comments from this morning ;)

Melinda- I went to the links you posted. Very funny reads, thanks for sharing.

IB- Have fun at the party, and no worries about the outfit. I'm sure it looks great.

Ali mac- That's really sweet, I bet both your kids were excellent in their respective performances.

Emilia- That recipe sounds delicious. I can't wait to try it :)

I hope everyone enjoyed a nice Wednesday. Lots of love--hope to chat soon :)

  83. Freddie & Super: Your convo cracked me up... for XMas, my son bought me a Twilight Edward poster at the Mall (He cannot keep a secret very well!!lol)... When he showed me-to make sure I liked it before he wrapped it-, I said, "Hmmm, really nice, but I'm not sure where I'll hang it. I wish we had a media room." He replied, "You can hang it in your bedroom!" (I'm thinking the hubs would have the same reaction as Mr.Super!!)

Freddie: With your crazy-ass weather, I'm surprised you haven't contracted pneumonia!

Hope everyone is well... I'm so f***ing behind with XMas shopping that I'm beginning to lose sleep at nite...Anyone else in the same boat?

Are we all done with the FAB recipes? I have so enjoyed the submissions... wish we could compile into an old-fashioned cookbook!!

    Stay well, Roseland... <3

  84. Super - that sounds like a great Christmas. It's that much more special with little ones around.

Yes, I'm on the mend. My voice is largely back - at least I can talk and be understood - but I'm really looking for some downtime so I can catch up on some sleep.

Glad to see that Kristen is home. She can go to Taco Bell or In-And-Out burgers now.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Rhonda!! Kenzz!! - ladies, nice to "see" you.

Kenzz - that would have been priceless to see your son present you with the gift. So sweet. Yes, you'll need to find another place to hang it. LOL.

  86. Hi KENZZ and RHONDA...

  89. Awww Freddie, Rhonda, Super: I miss the Northeast (& honorary Super!) Chapter all-together!!

Freddie: Seems like the craziness of RL lends itself to ships-that-pass-in-the-nite! But really glad you're on the mend :)

    ReplyDelete
  90. Kenzz, Super, Rhonda - I agree Kenzz. It's really nice to touch base with you ladies, if only briefly. I hope RL isn't too crazy and that you can all find a calm moment to enjoy the season.

I agree, life seems to be keeping us all very busy these days :)

Hi Kay- I love olives, I'll definitely give that one a try.

Okay, I gotta go. Have a good night everyone...((Hugs))

    ReplyDelete
  93. Kay: Yummy!! This would be great served on a pizza crust (preferably whole grain), spread over and topped with cherry tomato slices, sprinkled with feta or goat cheese crumbles...

    ReplyDelete
  94. Hi KAY....Yum...That looks good..I love olives too!

Good Evening Everybody.... tomorrow morning will be here soon...sleep is a challenge for me because of my cats...one goes in and out all night and yowls regardless of which side of the door he is on...he wont shut up until I get up and open the door...then the other one wont get out of the bed...purrs all night long and tries to snuggle....lol..and dig those claws in to my body...like right now....ttyl:)

  95. Rhonda and Super - have a good night.

Hi Kay - thanks for another great recipe.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Seeing as though peeps are dropping their recipes I though I'd give you my 'signature dish' lol

I present to you ladies......beans on toast.

Take two slices of bread and place them in a toaster.

Empty a tin of baked beans into a microwavable dish and heat for 2-3 mins.

When the toast is ready put it onto a plate and empty the beans over the top (add ketchup or other sauces if desired, or Branston Pickle if you're a freak like me).

And voila, you have the about the only thing I can cook.

Don't try this if it's too difficult ladies ;D

  97. Claire, I love beans on toast with a little sprinkle of grated cheddar cheese and a few dashes of worcestershire sauce, put it back under the grill for a minute, yummy!!

  98. For Smitty & Gruff

You And Me Against The World

    Paul Williams (1974):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzF-7R3VXR8

You and me against the world
Sometimes it feels like you and me
    Against the world

When all the others turn their back and walk away
You can count on me to stay

Remember when the circus came to town
And you were frightened by the clown
Wasn't it nice to be around
    Someone that you knew

Someone who was big and strong
    And lookin' out for

You and me against the world
Sometimes it feels like you and me
    Against the world

And for all the times we've cried
    I always felt the odds
    Were on our side

And when one of us is gone
And one is left alone to carry on
Then remembering will have to do
Our memories alone will get us through

Think about the days of me and you
Of you and me against the world

    Life can be circus
    They underpay and overwork us
Though we seldom get our due

And when each day is through
I bring my tired body home
    And look around for you

And for all the times we've cried
I've always felt that God was on our side

And when one of us is gone
And one is left alone to carry on
Then remembering will have to do

Memories alone will get us through
Think about the days of me and you
You and me against the world

    Thank you/mrrayjd

  107. Here's another super easy appetizer recipe.

    FRUIT & NUT CHEESE LOG
    8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 T. apple jelly
    1/4 c. dried apricots, chopped
1/4 c. dried tart cherries, chopped
    1/4 c. chopped walnuts
    Garnish: minced fresh chives
    Wheat crackers or fresh fruit
Place cream cheese on a sheet of plastic wrap; top with a second sheet of plastic wrap. Use a rolling pin to roll cheese to 1/2-inch thickness, approximately an 8-inch by 6-inch rectangle. Remove top sheet of plastic wrap and discard. Spread jelly over cheese; sprinkle with dried fruits. Gently roll into a log, jelly-roll style. Roll log in chopped walnuts and wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate until ready to serve. Just before serving, sprinkle chives over log. Serve with wheat crackers and fresh fruit. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
