Robert Pattinson-- Kristen Stewart

Now we know who the 'mystery' blonde is...

How absolutely adorable is this picture?
How can anyone NOT look sweet next to Betty White?
Even a buzzed Robert Pattinson.

Yes Folks.
Robert buzzed off his hair for the
Peoples Choice Awards.

END OF THE WORLD.

Well... it's not...
But in this fandom
Everything is lame ass drama.

Let's face it.
Robert looks good any old way he chooses to wear his hair.
And if its not your cup of tea...
Couple of things.

1. Maybe Rob did it for a new role.

2. Maybe he woke up with Kristen's gum in his hair
and she had to buzz it all off for him.

3. Maybe Rob has done this before...

New Year. New Hair.

And maybe he just likes to start the new year
with his hair the way he wants to.

4. Did Rob ask for you input on his hair?

5. It's only fucking hair.
So no matter what length or style you prefer
It will grow back.

6. Robert does NOT look fat.
He looks... content.
Satisfied.
I imagine he went back home to Kristen...
And she had one of her magnificent meals
waiting for him.

Robert + Kristen = Happy

So his hair wasn't the only drama...
oh no.
Never just one drama.
Never.

Rob was drunk?
Rob was sloppy and messy in what he wore?

Rob wasn't drunk.
Do people even know what drunk looks like?
How unprofessional would he be to come to an
award show seen by millions...
And be publicly intoxicated?
Really?

It irritates me to no end that people just
fucking need to criticize him no matter what he does.
He appeared a bit solemn.
Serious.
Hardly drunk.
But he never shines as brightly when Kristen
isn't around him.
You may argue with me on that detail...
But truth is fucking truth.
Look at him when shes there.
Major difference.
Big smiles.
Smiles that reach his eyes.
(and with Miss Betty White
but who wouldn't smile with her??)

Oh of course some people claim that Rob
is ONLY drunk when he's with Kristen...
I guess when you are drunk with delusions
you have to come up with excuses as to why
Robert held Kristen's hand and kissed her
at the WFE premiere.
Right. Right.

Anyone But Kristen

As for his wardrobe?
Big fucking deal.
No... he wasn't wearing a suit.
And yeah... he was pretty casual.
But Rob knows when its important to wear a suit.
And maybe...
After weeks and weeks of dressing up and being paraded
around for BD1 promotion in suit after suit...
Just maybe he didn't fucking FEEL like dressing up.
And its the Peoples Choice Awards...
Not exactly Glam material.
I'm guessing he didn't want to go anyway...
He pretty much admitted that
"I don't know why they have me accepting this award"
He did his part.
So back the fuck off.
Leave him alone.
His hair is fine.
His clothes were fine.
Shut up.

Dear Rose...
Bel Ami.
I'm looking forward to this...
They better not let me down and not show it around here.
I want DuRob.
Don't deny me.

Final thoughts.

1. We finally get to see Rob
looking all cute next to Betty White...
And people fucking complain.
Blah Blah Blah.
Just goes to show that no matter what he does
Or how he does it
It's never good enough for some people.
Some just fucking LIVE to whine.
Always waiting for that other shoe to drop
Always looking for the negative.
Always wanting to hate.

Rob was on TV.
He looked wonderful.
He accepted an award.
He was adorable.
 Let's leave it at that.

2. I won't even go into the whole seating chart drama.
(OK, maybe a little)
Let's just say...
People spent a considerable amount of time
debating and whining
over whether or not Kristen would show up.
Why would she?
Would you?
Just take the intense scrutiny that Rob received last night...
and multiply that by a million
If Kristen showed up.
Who needs that?
People Choice Awards.
So not worth that.
Kristen can pick her battles.
(WFE premiere for example... heh)

Green Sheep.

3. I adore Tom Sturridge.
But you all know that.
I'm not shy about it.
I love his beard.
I love the way he dresses.
I love most of his hats
(the ratty baseball one needs to be retired)

I love his eyes.
His voice.
His lopsided smile.
And I still do.
Even with impending fatherhood.
Happy Tom
Makes for a
Happy Rose.

This post is brought to you by Cheese.
It goes good with the whine.

(lame? Yeah... but apt. APT!)

Until next time.

Bye for now

  2. Why can't people just be happy that WFE was recognized and we got to see Rob looking cute, buzz cut and all, laughing with the wonderful Betty White...his acceptance speech was sweet and genuine....what more do we need?!

I am really looking forward to seeing Bel Ami, hopefully in the theater. I'm a sap for period pieces, and this looks really, really good.

Happy snowy Thursday, Rose and Roseland...I hope you all have a great day! Take care and stay safe and warm. :D <3

  3. Rose...Hope you are having a better week. Thanks for the new post!

The pic of Rob & Betty White is adorable.

Rob looked as handsome as ever and I loved his sincere acceptance speech. He is the sweetest!

Hi Everyone who stops by later!

  4. It was great to see Rob for a few minutes last night! He seems happy, looks good and had a great little acceptance speech. He came, did his thing, then left. He was probably home in time to watch himself on TV if he wanted to! Lol! No drama there, and any fucking idiots making drama where there is none don't deserve my time or attention!

I've been to a few award shows, they are long and generally boring most of the time. Rob & Kristen aren't in to the HW hype of dressing up & posing for cameras & getting lots of attention. It all seems superficial and annoying and unless they are receiving an award or are nominated, I can't imagine either of them being gung-ho about attending events like this!

Happy they are remaining lowkey and living their lives how they want to, if they are happy, then I'm happy for them and that's all that really matters!

  5. Today's post left me feeling a bit ranty. Who are these people? Not fans, surely?! Pick up a newspaper or turn on the news--find something important to worry and whine about for heaven's sake! Haircuts and clothing are trivial things -- not worthy of drama and stress!

Last night's viewing party was great. I'm so glad to know such funny, snarky(PR), & clever people! Thanks for turning off the word verification, ROSE. You are so nice to us, even when we blow up your email w/our silliness. :)

I totally agree that Rob looks like a man who is being well cared for. And well loved. I think the same thing when I see Kristen.

Sorry for the rant. I should go finish cleaning my bathroom and take it out on the tub! :D

    xoxo

  6. PMSL about Kristen's gum in his hair!

Thanks for posting Rose - great as usual :)

How could anyone think that he was drunk or looked fat?..Some people are really strange.. I thought that he looked great with the haircut and so sweet and adorable next to Betty (although I agree with you Rose that his smiles are bigger when he is with Kristen)!

    Hi everyone :)

  9. Hi Rose and Roseland,

    Thanks for posting! Excellent post!!

Can't believe the drama over Rob's hair. it's HIS hair, and he can do with it whatever fucking he wants. To me, Rob is GORGEOUS no matter if he as hair or no hair, beard no beard, scruff, clean shave. And he can also wear whatever he wants to this awards shows, as long his happy. I am happy we got to see him, even if it was for a few minutes.

I'm also happy WFE won the favourite movie drama!! Rob's acceptance speech, was sweet and sincere. I loved it. He was adorable as always.

The pic of Rob and Betty is the sweetest!

If true Bel Ami will be in theater the 27th Febuary here in Portugal. I am really looking forward to seeing it.

    I miss Kristen beautiful face!!!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Take care.

  10. And I don't know where some people were looking at, but people are either blind or just plain idiots...Rob is NOT fat at all and was NOT drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Can't even with the hair "big deal"
Jeez, it's just hair... wtf..?! -.-
Rob looks pretty great whatever he wears and whatever his hair cut is..

    Cute post Rose, thanks!

Btw, I was sure that "pictures collage" was some kind of manip o.O
    is it only me..? lol

  12. @Fio:
I have seen the pics before, but with a fan standing between them.. I think.

BTW: I loved your "Speak" video :)

    ReplyDelete
  13. Honestly,I looked at some of the reactions today with disbelief although,I'm not sure why since it happens every damn time! I did find myself wanting to slap them all stupid and tell them to grow the fuck up. It genuinely mystifies me how such a sweet man is lumbered with so many utterly barmy fans!

I didn't see Rob's appearance until I got home this evening and I was almost braced for some outrageous or deeply embarrassing behaviour on his part.Instead I saw a charming, humble man accepting an award that he seemed to feel some of his co-stars were perhaps more worthy of.His speech seemed genuine and heartfelt.I thought he seemed to have a bit of a cold but also that he seemed peaceful, as if he's been enjoying this quiet time with Kristen and was probably quite anxious to get back to it :)
I thought his outfit was entirely appropriate for the occcasion,he wears suits when it's necessary, I don't personally think it was last night. I'm sure he couldn't care less about anyone but Kristen's opinion of his hair but for the record, I think it looks absolutely fine.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Leni- oh as i thought then! thanks for answering!

And glad you liked it :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. I have to say I really thought he was looking gorgeous and very manly last night, I think he is more muscular now, not FAT!!!!!!!! I also was pleased with his acceptance speech.

I enjoyed reading all the comments from last night, looked like a good nights fun!

Rose I loved the cheese and whine comment, I must be corny too LOL

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hi all,

Nice catching up with you all last night.

All I can say is no matter the length of Rob's hair, and no matter what he wears, the guy has got "it". You heard the positive reception he got last night. Enough said.

I hope everyone is having a good day. Talk to you soon.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Right on Rose. People suck. Period.

Totally agree with the observation as to his demeanor with or without Kristen next to him.

I really hope they are enjoying the downtime. Personally I think they both need it.

As for Tom, sending out good vibes for an easy pregnancy for the parents-to-be. And when the time comes a safe delivery.

Totally ready for the weekend. Anyone with me???

    ReplyDelete
  18. You're right Rose, there's nothing wrong with Rob's (lack of) hair and there's nothing wrong with his wardrobe! He looked gorgeous, as always.

I loved his speech, so honest and
unpretentious <3 and I loved all the pics with Betty White, so sweet :)

The only thing I found odd last night was Ashley giving him the award for WFE... I mean, what's up with this "overdose" of Ashley Green lately? She's always around, lol. Weird!

I miss seeing Kristen, she's too good at this hiding thing, haha.
I've a feeling we're not going to see her for a looong time... yeah, I know, good for her... :X

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hahahaha ROSE....I LOVED the post...OMG

BETTY WHITE next to ROB. Check

    WHINERS...Robs haircut, his attire, ....whatever...check.

BEL AMI.....OMG Rose...I am telling you, these theaters might be surprised how UGLY menopausal ( ok... I can just talk about myself ...and DK..hahaha) cookie baking, foul mouthed bitches can be! ( a lovely observation from WIGFORUSC)...if they know what's good for them, they will just GO AHEAD AND BRING THE MOVIE IN for GODS SAKE! Check...

Hope everyone had a good day:)

  20. Dear Rose,
Great post today. So happy for Rob and everyone involved in the WFE film. Rob has said many times in interviews that working on WFE was a wonderful experience, one I am sure he will treasure for a long time to come. Rob had that understated and very humble look of happiness as he collected the WFE film award. Last night we saw a very happy, content and as always, handsome young man. He rocked his short hair cut. Super cute in the pic with Betty.

Now, wishing Rob and Kristen more under the radar time.

First week back to class has been wonderful and super busy.

    Hugs for y'all.
Hugs for Smitty, Gruff and Syd.
    Life is good.

  21. Rob should have gone for the bald look..........head as smooth as a baby's bottom!
    Maybe next time. :)

Glad that he and Kristen are enjoying their much deserved time off!

  22. Yeeeah,

I think shaved head Rob is pretty hot

    :O

  23. Rose, great post. I thought Rob looked fantastic last night. I liked the new hairdo, and he certainly did not look drunk. Some people just look for something to complain about. He was wonderful. I loved the pic of Robert and Betty White, so sweet. It was so good just to see him.

Take care Roselanders. I hope everybody is having a good week.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Nice post, Rose :)

I hope this week is going much better for you..

I thought Rob was great. There's nothing wrong with his hair, his clothes were fine, and he gave a lovely acceptance speech for WFE. Not to mention he was all kinds of adorable with Betty White :)

Hi everyone- I hope it's been a great day..

  25. Hi Roseland!

What's the big deal with all of the pissers and moaners? I'll take Rob any day and any which way! He was great and it was so nice to see him....glad he came and went and is home with Kristen and Bear :)

Live and let live is what I say and.....quit the pissin' and moanin'

  26. Hi Rose and Everyone here!

@Dreamer Kind~ Happy Belated Birthday! Sounds like you had a fantastic day!

As for the PCA's, I'm just happy he showed up and we got to see his adorable new look! Rose's post today is on the mark. Kristen wasn't there and he didn't want to be there no more than a man on the moon! But, he showed up and accepted the award. I almost got the impression at the end of his speech that he kinda started enjoying winning that award.

Anyway, hope this finds everyone doing GREAT! Enjoy the weekend...it's almost here!!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Didn't Kristen say in some interview a looooong time ago that Rob rants like a little kid sometimes?? I say she was probably the one that encouraged him to at least show up and accept the award! I get the impression he's tired of this almost clinically insane fandom!

    ReplyDelete
  28. The first thing of thought of when Demi Lovato snarled and whined through her song...."Rob must be in Hell right now". We all know he's not a big fan. No big promos going on, was Taylor there? I didn't see him, is that drama over? Poor Rob, took one for the team - the WFE and Twilight teams, and look what he gets!

I can't wait for Sunday and Ricky Gervase!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Let me add...I meant Rob's not a big fan of these shows, no idea if he likes Demi, but hard pressed to believe that's true! LOL

  30. Ode To Love And Hair

Jeannie With The Light Brown Hair

    Robert Wilson:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbQJISHT4ZU

I dream of Jeanie with the light brown hair,
    Warm like a vapor on the summer air;
I see her tripping where the bright streams play,
Happy are the daisies that dance on her way.

Many were the blithe notes her merry voice would pour,
Many were the wild birds that warbled them o'er:
I dream of Jeanie with the light brown hair,
Floating, like a vapor, on the warm summer air.

I sigh for Jeanie with the gay dawn smile,
    Radiant in gladness, warm with winning guile;
I hear her melodies, like joys gone by,
Sighing round my heart o'er the fond hopes that die:

I sigh for Jeannie, but her light form strayed
    Far from the fond parts round her native glade;
Her smiles have vanished and her sweet songs flown
Flitting like the dreams that have cheered us and gone.

Now the nodding wild flow'rs may wither on the shore,
    While her gentle fingers will cull them no more;
I dream of Jeannie with the light brown hair
Floating like a vapor on the soft, summer air.

Sighing like the night wind and sobbing like the rain,
Wailing for the lost one that comes not again:
I long for Jeanie, and my heart bows low,
Never more to find her where the bright waters flow.

Now the nodding wild flowers may wither on the shore
While her gentle fingers will cull them no more:
Oh! I sigh for Jeanie with the light brown hair,
Floating, like a vapor, on the warm summer air.

    Thank you/bigmanio

Live for the dream, follow the dream, beautiful dreamer
Live for the dream, follow the dream, beautiful dreamer

Soul singer on the avenue hummin' her little tune
Wishin' one day to be everything she dreams
Her goals so far so unattainable she thinks but I say

Live for the dream, follow the dream, beautiful dreamin'
Live for the dream, follow the dream, beautiful dreamin'

Home boy on the avenue wants love but doesn't have a clue
That there's no clue to it, just love, just love
Open up your heart and grab it, believe that you can have it
Take it, it's yours, it's yours

Live for the dream, follow the dream, beautiful dreamin'
Live for the dream, follow the dream, beautiful dreamin'

Oh, I know sometimes that it gets hard
Running up that road surviving beating the odds
But you don't have to worry, no fear, no doubt
Hold on to the dream, believe, believe, believe, believe

    Beautiful dreamin'
Live for the dream, follow the dream, beautiful dreamer
    Dream, dream, dream

  32. It Takes Two To Tango

    Annette Funicello (1961)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmH4Dxhk9Mo

    Here's a dance that's really neat
A tango with a rockin beat
    Don't be shy let's dance
    Cause it takes

Two to tango, two to tango
Two to really get the feeling of romance
Two to tango, two to tango
    Do the dance of love

You can sail on a ship by yourself
Take a nap or a nip by yourself
You can get into debt on your own
There are lots of things that you can do alone

    But it takes
Two to tango, two to tango
Two to really get the feeling of romance
Two to tango, two to tango
    Do the dance of love

You can haunt any house by yourself
Be a man or a mouse by yourself
You can act like a king on a throne
There are lots of things that you can do alone

    But it takes
Two to tango, two to tango
Two to really get the feeling of romance
Two to tango, two to tango
    Do the dance of love

It takes two, I said two
    Darling it always takes two,
    I'm with you!

    Thank you/annetteoldies

  34. Happy Friday, Roseland!

Emilia, I think it's wonderful that you're finding opportunities to help others. It's so important to have causes that we are passionate about in life. Let us know more about it when you can. You are an amazing girl!

It's COLD here in the south! A good day to snuggle up w/a book and a hot drink. I've got the house all to myself this week end and I'm looking forward to some ME time! :)

Hope all of you have a great week end!

  36. what a lucky blonde!!!! bet many starlette were jealous of her.

FIRST, i'm ok with the buzzcut, i'll admit i whined like there was no tomorrow the first time he did that , i was deeply madly irrevocably in love with the sex hair, i still watch old pics with nostalgia, i called his hair an ode to gravity but then i got use to it and you know what no matter what he does to his hair rob is still hot.
-rob fat? whatever...its called being fed on the soul food with love train :)
TWO,kristen puts the megawatt smile on the jaw, deal with it!
i like to think they played rock and scissors and kristen won as usual, so there really was never any chance of her coming....plus rob is a softie he knows we suffer from withdrawal horribly, so that was really nice of him!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Is that cheese and whiiiinneee? lol. First off the PCA's kinda sucked, so seeing Rob sit next to Betty White made the show for me lol. I knew as soon as I saw his hair that Twitter would be blowing up...there was a disturbance in the force :). He is who he has always been, he obvioulsy is more comfortable in casual clothes..so what?, I think his hair is a nice change, it's on his head, so it's his choice...or Kristen's. I was just glad to see him after what seemed like forever. I think he looks great!

  38. U guys r so sweet but I'm so not like I just got lucky n have ALOT of people that like help me out n idk how they keep up cause I have no idea what I'm doing most of the time n for some reason they r still here n u have no idea how happy I am for that! I have to go cause lol one of them is looking at me like he hasn't seen me in years lol such a baby! Hope u all have fun this weekend bye

    "Darling I love you"
You gave me faith to go on

Now we're there and we've only just begun
And this will be our year
Took a long time to come

    Yeah we only just begun
Yeah this will be our year
Took a long time to come

    Thank you/darrynray

    ReplyDelete
  58. Hi Roseland,

Smitty and Syd, SO good to see you stopped by here!! I hope you're doing well, Gruff as well.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone. Take care.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Such exciting news about Kristen and Balenciaga...good for her!

Hope you are all having a great weekend out there...take care everybody! :)

    ReplyDelete
  60. Hi again. I waited a bit last night but everyone was mia. Not sure who to wish for in the football debate-- both seem like good guys but I have to go with Tebow bc of some ties to Denver. I heard Rose had fun last night and may be nursing a hangover. Good for her. I'm so out of it here not sure what else to say but hope you all are ok. Ttyl.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Good morning everyone.

We've had more snow again so I guess the winter reprieve is over. It is pretty now but shoveling is not so great.

    manjen,
I see you've been having some insomnia lately. That can be so frustrating so I hope it ends.

Have a good weekend everyone. I'm not a big football fan so Yay, Team!

    ReplyDelete
  62. So ur team Teabow? lol me too really don't like the patriots AT ALL so sorry ladies but really my team plays tomorrow so let's go GIANTS! people r coming over so should be cool

  63. Definitely have different loyalties in the football debate around here. Sorry Em, I'm going to be cheering VERY loudly against you tomorrow....Go Packers! ;)

Good to see you stop by Smitty, hope everything is going well with you. Oh, and thanks again for that Oreo pate recipe from before, my friends absolutely LOVED it.

Your snow looks so pretty, PL...about the same around here. Kind of helps it seem like winter, and I guess I really do miss having it here when we don't.

Have a good weekend Roseland. :)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Em I have to go with the Packers. Ha sorry but Bbc that's Rose's team if I don't god knows what Syd would do to me. You worked all night?? Go sleep!! Hi pl and Kay.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Hahaha OMG Kay I LOVE THAT! u should come over n we could eat a ton of food n drink beer lol n scream at each other all night that would be fun! good luck but I think it's gonna be blue all the way baby

    ReplyDelete
  66. Nice post! So proud and excited for Kristen as the new face of Balenciaga. We will see alot of of "pretties" this coming week.

Have a good day Rose and Roseland! Regards to all of you.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Yea I had to stay up cause it was alot n had to be ready early but I'm done so it's okay I'll sleep later maybe lol the packers? Lol maybe u should come over too :) more beer n screaming hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  68. Em how can u drink beer?? HahahahhhhhgAaa

    ReplyDelete
  69. That's the good thing about football..everyone has their team. It makes it fun.
And I have no idea why this chick from the valley likes the patriots, I just always have!

My cat, Severus, won't shut the fuck up! He is like serenading me outside my door, entirely too early to be awake on a Saturday for me!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Oh good...so nice to see some Broncos support here. I am a Denver native...loving the Broncos is something you're born with here. The city is electric right now. It's fun to be a fan again and it hasn't been in a while.

I'm also pulling for the Saints and Green Bay and Houston.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

    ReplyDelete
  71. I'm very superstitious when it comes to football, Em....so all I am going to say is, we'll see! :D I'll think of you yelling your head off over there while I am cheering over here. Hehehe

    ReplyDelete
  72. What do u mean how lol I do it ALL THE TIME ha! we're stacked btw lol I shopped yesterday lol sooooo no heinekens this time cause I like coronas :)

    ReplyDelete
  73. Ur so cute Kay it's fun it gets loud cause its like most of them r boys n just 2 girls lol but we can get down too lol I hope u have fun too

    ReplyDelete
  74. Hi Kay, Smitty, Em, Sydney and Groovie,

You guys are too funny with the football talk, I almost wished I liked it just to join in. I usually walk through the room, ask what the score is and walk back out.

Kay, are you really superstitious? Do you have a shirt or cap you have to wear on the day?

    ReplyDelete
  75. PL, I am so superstitious....in fact, I had been wearing my jersey all season until halfway through the game they lost...I took it off incase I was jinxing them by wearing it, and now I can't wear it again this season. ;) It's pretty die hard around here...lots of green and gold in church on Sundays during the season.

    ReplyDelete
  76. PL I think it's cool all the crazy stuff people get into w football like I went shopping w my friend for stuff for the party lol n she was already wearing her giants tshirt! she said she had to warm it up lol it's fun. okay I gotta go cause my boss wants to take me out for a walk lol I swear this dog thinks he owns me lol n he totally does bye

    ReplyDelete
  77. You should not be drinking Em. You aren't old enough so behave!!

    GO PACKERS!!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Kay, I remember now you saying that about people wearing green to church. Mr PL is kind of that way when Wolverines play. He's convinced if he's watching they'll lose so he stops if they are behind and then I have to keep yelling out the score to him while he's outside.

    Em,

Have fun with your "boss" and Smitty is right, no drinking!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Hahaha so what am I supposed to wash the wings down w lol don't worry I ALWAYS behave lol so go packers huh? Sorry baby but we got this in the bag lol lu

    ReplyDelete
  80. !!! GO PACK GO !!!

    Hey Smitts! I miss you.

    And...

    !!! GO PACK GO !!!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Hi Emilia, Smitty, Kay, PL, Groovie, Sydney, and Rose :)

Rose- I have to go with you on the Packers. I have friends who would kill me otherwise ;)

    ReplyDelete
  82. Hey Roseland!

I don't follow any pro teams but I do have a soft spot for the Packers now because of Rose. It's all college football here in the south. Roll Tide! (Sorry Robert)

Hope you all are having a fun week end!

  85. OMG Rhonda u too? Lol I thought we were friends!! so I'm like the only giants fan here lol it's cool I guess no one likes NY :( I'm gonna have to get some of my people to come here lol

    ReplyDelete
  86. Em- I like the Giants too, but I have to pull for the Packers this time. If not I'll never hear the end of it..;)

  87. Hi Rhonda! (sorry for that Roll Tide earlier)

    Hey Em!

    ReplyDelete
  88. Oh, and EM...what's this about you not behaving??

    ReplyDelete
  89. Dottie- LOL you're not one bit sorry and you know it! But it's all good--my Vols are gonna make a comeback ;)

    ReplyDelete
  90. Rhonda, No doubt they will make a come back and the shoe will be on the other foot. I look forward to hearing many renditions of Rocky Top!

Em, did you write earlier that you haven't been to bed yet???

    ReplyDelete
  91. Hahaha it's all good Rhonda I just like the fun of the whole thing n I AM behaving lol I always do

    ReplyDelete
  92. Dottie- LOL! Alright, but just remember when the time comes...you asked for it ;)

Em- OK, I'll stop nagging now :)

    ReplyDelete
  93. Hi, all. I'm a long time reader and I finally decided to jump into the conversation here to let Em know she's not alone in her support for Big Blue.

I actually have family in Wisconsin but I'm from New Jersey (so are the Giants, but that's another conversation entirely). I would root for the Packers if they were playing any other team, but, since they're not - GO GIANTS.

Btw, I love your blog, Rose. Always a good read and I love your snark.

    ReplyDelete
  94. The Giants of course...........but I expect the Packers won't make it easy for them. :)
    Go Giants!

    Hello all.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Weighing in on the playoffs...Sorry Giants fans, because the Vikings may never get there,I'll have to go with our neighbors-Go Packers!
As a onetime resident of Colorado, I have to root for the Broncos, too.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Hi Everyone!

  98. Didn't bother wasting my time watching the PCAs...I don't have the patience for the nonsense.

I think Rob looks adorable with the buzz cut. A beautifully handsome man will always be that, no matter the hairstyle! The shorter do just helps him blend in more...not! That lovely boy stands out no matter what he does!

Sitting next to Betty White must have been entertaining. She's a wonderful comedienne.

    GO PATS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  99. Sorry guys I kinda crashed guess I was tired after all Madison n Annie lol finally some back up! u from NY Annie? I lived all the way downtown my whole life but now I'm out like l still hang like some spots r okay for me. I better go so hungry n I'm the cook around here so gotta get on that! Have fun tonight watching the game! Oh n dreamer thank u for saying that n I'm so happy u had fun celebrating

    ReplyDelete
  100. Hey, Is anyone around tonight???

    ReplyDelete
  101. Hi manjen,

Question for you, any chance you were raised Catholic?

Mr PL, who is not Catholic was asking me about confession and I told him as a elementary school parochial kid I had to go to confession every week. He asked what possible sins would a kid confess every month. I told him the standard was 5 lies, disobeyed parents 3 times and fought with brothers and sister 6 times.

Anyone out there raised Catholic who remembers their childhood "sins"?

    ReplyDelete
  102. I was not raised Catholic,I was raised Pentacostal. My parents were Youth Pastors.. but the things you named are all I can think that a child could do wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  103. That is the point, little kids have no real sins and I know we just made stuff up, like random numbers of how many times we told lies or whatever. It's not like I'd tell a lie and then keep a running tally.

Pentacostal, wow, interesting. Do you still practice?

    ReplyDelete
  104. Sorry, manjen, I don't mean to be nosy.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Your Right.

I don't go to church as much as I should. But yes, I do still have the same beliefs.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I didn't think you were being nosy at all. I don't mind talking about it. Ask away!! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  107. Ok, if you don't mind, I have to ask. How does the speaking in tongues work? Is it an actual language that is being spoke?

    ReplyDelete
  108. They get that from Acts don't have a bible near me to tell what chapter, but it's the one that says "and on the day of pentacost, they were all in one accord" anyway...It's supposed to be your special prayer language (not an actual language) between you and God that Satan cannot understand. (It all goes deeper than this, but I am just giving a quick explanation) It's supposed to be a spiritual gift from God that Helps the believer in powerful ways.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Not a whole lot Dottie, We just talking... How are you doing??

    ReplyDelete
  110. Thanks, manjen. It makes sense to me now.

    Hi Dottie.

We've covered religion so now we just have to move on to something more racy.

    ReplyDelete
  111. I'm ok. Kind of fighting a cold and being lazy. My hubs and boys are away this week end so I'm enjoying the quiet.

    ReplyDelete
  112. PL

No problem, anytime you have a question, please feel free to ask!!

    ReplyDelete
  113. Have either of you seen the movie The Kids are Alright?

I about died laughing when Julianne Moore's character had sex the first time with Mark whatever his last name is.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Dottie
Yours are away and you are enjoying your quiet weekend...Mine are gone, at first I was like..YES!! Now I find myself bored and lonely!! LOL!! I'm So Weird!!

    ReplyDelete
  115. PL
I haven't seen it yet, Everytime I have sat down to watch it, we've had something happen at the house & I have to turn it off...Is it good?

    ReplyDelete
  116. Manjen, When will your's be back? Mine are gone till Mon. They are in Tuscaloosa working w/Habitat for Humanity rebuilding homes for some of the tornado victims. They just left yesterday so I haven't had time to get lonely.

PL, I've seen that movie. It was a funny scene. Julianne Moore is a fave of mine. She is so brave in the roles she chooses. That movie was really different from what I was expecting.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Dottie
    Mine will be back tomorrow.
But they also do what your husband & kids are doing in Tuscaloosa. They are not with HFH though, but after big storms, etc. they travel and help rebuild, I helped in New Orleans after Hurrican Katrina, It was a life changing experience. I know your family enjoys it!!

    ReplyDelete
  118. How does someone get involved with Habitat? I know my husband has mentioned several times he would like to do that but we've never looked into it.

And yes, manjen, the movie was good. It was more a drama than comedy but it had elements of both.

    ReplyDelete
  119. PL
I think you can go to their website to get involved.

    ReplyDelete
  120. They do love it. We were living in LA during Katrina and my oldest went to NO several times to work. We've always tried to encourage them to do service projects and volunteer. It's so rewarding.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Dottie
Yes it is rewarding. We encourage our children to help as well.

You know I help just to see the smile return on the person you helped face, that feeling is wonderful!! :-D

I could fill your ears up with all the wonderful things we've experienced!! IT'S AWESOME!!

    ReplyDelete
  122. Have you ladies seen the movie "Young Adult?" If not, see it!

    ReplyDelete
  123. Young Adult?? Who's in it?

    ReplyDelete
  124. Gee, look at the web site. That's a novel idea, duh. Lol. Thanks.

I have not seen Young Adult. I think it already ended it's run here. I've been wanting to see We Bought a Zoo.

    ReplyDelete
  125. PL
LOL! I didn't mean it like duh, I meant they may have some applications for people wanting to help. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  126. I want to see...I think it's called Dolphin Tail...but I'm scared it will make me cry...I am such a baby, I always cry at movies like that!!

    ReplyDelete
  127. Hey Rhonda!! How are you?

    ReplyDelete
  128. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Manjen,
I didn't think you meant that. I was making fun of myself that it was kind of a no-brainer way to find out about it.

    Rhonda, hi!
One football game over and another to go.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Manjen- I'm good. How are things with you?

    Sorry for the delete ;)

    ReplyDelete
  131. Hi Rhonda!

Manjen, Charlize Theron is in YA.Also Patton Oswalt, who is so funny.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I'm watching the Broncos and Patriots right now ;)

    ReplyDelete
  133. Dottie- I loved Charlize in Young Adult. She's so funny, inappropriate, but funny ;)

    ReplyDelete
  134. Mr PL is watching the game and doing his ironing. Yes, you read that right, he does his own ironing.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Rhonda, Mavis didn't learn a thing, did she? She was so clueless. lol

    Good for Mr PL!

    ReplyDelete
  136. PL, I knew what you meant. I just thought what you said was funny that is why I put that! :-) AND You have Mr. PL trained VERY Well!!

    Rhonda, Things are great here!

Dottie, I know what movie you are talking about, the one where Charlize and her family put the FUN in disFUNctional??

    ReplyDelete
  137. You guys, I just saw a commercial for Cialis Everyday. How does this work? With Viagra they say they have to wait for it to take effect so it must be for premeditated boinking.

With this Cialis Everyday does that mean they revert to teenage boy when they spring to attention at the slightest thing?

    Come on Nurse Rhonda. Explain.

    ReplyDelete
  138. PL if that is what Cialis everyday means, I WILL make sure my HUSBAND NEVER sees that commercial!! LOL!!

    ReplyDelete
  139. PL- You have him trained well ;)

    Dottie- LOL, I know ;)

    ReplyDelete
  140. My life would be hello!! What a nightmare!! ONLY JOKING!!

    ReplyDelete
  141. PL - YIKES!

    Manjen - That's the movie. :)

    ReplyDelete
  142. manjen,
That isn't really such a joke. I can't imagine having to go through those days again. Hand on thigh, up it goes. Hand on chest, again.
Walk up behind them, again. Constant boing, boing, boing like a yo-yo or something.

    ReplyDelete
  143. PL..LOL!! I SO know what you mean, Cant even bend over to get something out of the bottom cabinets, without...boing then your head gets knocked into the cabinet door...Hell I tell ya!! HELL!!

    ReplyDelete
  144. PL- LOL I'm pretty sure the effects wouldn't be that dramatic ;)

    ReplyDelete
  145. Manjen, what about standing at the kitchen sink and they sneak up behind you to start rubbing all against you. It's like, "I have a knife in my hand, what are you doing?"

I'm sure that is what happened with Lorena Bobbitt.

    ReplyDelete
  146. PL, Girl, I know that's right!! You have to laugh about it, cause if you don't..all you'd do is cry!! :-) I tell my husband that he wants nothing to do with me unless I am busy doing something else, then he can't keep his hands to himself!! LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  147. You girls are so funny! I think our hubs must have been separated at birth! :D

    ReplyDelete
  148. It helps to know that other people's husbands do these things as well, it means that if my husband is crazy, then so is everyone elses husband!! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  149. Manjen, When it comes to "boing" I think they're all pretty much the same! hehe

    ReplyDelete
  150. The thing I think is funniest about these commercials is the whole line about " If you experience an erection for more than 4 hours please seek medical attention."

Would you want to be the guy who has to go to the ER with that problem? He has to lay there with the sheet tented over him.

    ReplyDelete
  151. PL,
Me and my husband were talking about the exact same thing...he said there is NO WAY IN HELL he would go to the ER!! LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  152. Oh, you wouldn't believe some of the things that come through the ER...

    ReplyDelete
  153. manjen,

My husband knows all the doctors in the area and has worked with a lot of them, or socialized. We'd have to drive 100 miles to find a place where no one knew him.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Rhonda, I bet you could give us an ear full and gross us out at the same time with stories!!

    ReplyDelete
  155. PL, I know that's right!

    ReplyDelete
  156. I just realized the Miss America Pageant is on tonight. Does anyone watch this anymore? I remember when it was a big deal, now it's kind of a joke isn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  157. I never watch it anymore. BUT

I've been watching that show Hoarders on A&E..do you ever watch that?

    ReplyDelete
  158. I have never heard of Hoarders. What is it?

    ReplyDelete
  159. It's about these people (pack rats) who will not throw things away and they keep buying things even though their houses are PACKED from floor to ceiling with junk. Sometimes so packed you can't get through the house. Usually their state steps in and condemns their houses until they get it cleaned. But it's quite a task to get them to throw stuff away!! If you ever see it on and you have time to watch it...please do, it will blow your mind.

    ReplyDelete
  160. It comes on, on Monday nights on A&E, I think at 9p est. It comes on after the show intervention.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Manjen, Is that the show where they help them clean out their homes? I saw one of those shows once and they found a cat skeleton underneath all the trash. The owner said her cat went missing a long time ago and she didnt know what happened to it! GAH!

    ReplyDelete
  162. Dottie
Yes..that's the one...each show amazes me!!

    ReplyDelete
  163. My daughter's HS boyfriend's mother was just like that. She bought stuff from QVC all the time and never even took it out of the box. Daughter said it was impossible to use the front door to the house because the room was full of boxes.

I'm not neat freak but that would drive me crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  164. I have an aunt like that, I mean there are piles and piles of stuff in her house. My mom went in there and got some clothes from the BOTTOM of one of the piles, thinking the clothes have probably been here for years and she'll never know they are gone. Mom gave the clothes to someone. A few days later, my aunt called pitching a fit because she knew her clothes were missing...I HAVE NO IDEA how she could have known they were gone...but she did!!

    ReplyDelete
  165. manjen, she's probably a little OCD if she noticed that. My son is a little and can tell if I touch a pile of his junk.

I'm out for the night now. I'm going to watch Graham Norton. It's been fun.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Yeah, those hoarders get really anxious when the people try to help them clean out their homes. I need to find that show and start recording it.

OK ladies, I'm going to go now. It's been fun! :)

    ReplyDelete
  167. PL, Yeah that makes sense, she probably is...

I am out of here too..It was nice talking to everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful night! Let's do this again sometime!

    Goodnight Everyone!!

    ReplyDelete
  168. I see a lot of American Football talk. Give me rugby any day of the week. At least they don't wear padding to protect their delicate little bodies. lol

    I hope you're all doing well :)

    ReplyDelete
  170. Awww, the Broncos got stomped. I hope Packers fare better today!

    ReplyDelete
  171. Birdie- Yeah, it was a tough loss. My nephew plays football and he's a big Tebow fan. He's a little disappointed, but looking forward to next year :)

Dottie- I just read my comment to you about Young Adult, and I meant the character Charlize plays in the movie is inappropriate, not Charlize ;)

    ReplyDelete
  182. Rhonda - They're rough and ready lol

angelica - I wonder if it's for a role or he just felt like doing it.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Claire - I was wondering that too, but if it's for a role then he would have to start shooting it soon I think and we haven't heard anything yet..

    ReplyDelete
  184. Claire - I think he probably just felt like it :)

    ReplyDelete
  185. Claire- LOL "rough and ready" ;)
