about the whole PR bullshit.

She still had what you will never have.

I couldn't agree more. I just want what is best for them no matter what. I just hate how everyone can't seem to make up their minds about Kristen. I think they like to hate her. People just need to let it go and mind their own business. It is hard enough for them right now being in the public eye and having everyone eye on them.

ReplyDeleteI am still trying to get my head around her actions though. She was the one who was by his side through all the Twilight chaos, they strengthened each other and she was a strong person. An honest person. A sincere person with integrity by the bucketload. I think if someone asked her 6 months ago would she do this and her eye-rolling and curse words would be off the scale. She would never believe it of herself. So its disappointment that I feel. I know she didn't do it to me but she did it to someone I care about.Something I never dreamed she would be capable of
doing. Worst of all, it wasn't a mistake. She made a choice and carried it out to the detriment of many people.

They are jealous that they have the need to point out every single flaw that she has. It's over, they don't need to hate! They're making themselves look like complete fools and idiots! ReplyDeleteThese haters appear to be more into her than him - they say a small sediment to him and then spend hours on her and honestly know way more about her then should be healthy for someone they don't care about.
I keep hope alive - sometimes the storm gets worse before the sun comes out but sometimes isn't the grass so much greener and the air fresher after a big down pour , hell I am even for chasing those rainbows. Here's to hoping that I can dance as the rain ends, soak in the sun, and read a book in the green grass.

Liz thanks for the laugh. I do agree I don't like how Rob is been quite in all this....I just want a statement from either one if they broken up or one of them should go on a date. This will all Turn into are they, aint they fiasco and that is not what they need right now. That been said the haters obsession with kristen is mind blowing and scary. ReplyDeleteOnce again another great unbiased post. We dont know what the future holds. We dont know what will come to pass but if they should go their seperate ways, then I dearly hope that KS will finally, finally get to have that "horrible hatred hold" that has been strangling her for the past 5 years be released. This girl has had to endure invasion of privacy (off the charts), death threats, invasion of her family and friends privacy, every nuance of her life and body picked apart to no end. Sometimes I wonder if she ever sits and thinks that Twilight wasnt worth it. Granted it gave her some great things and opportunites but alot of hell too. Maybe she will be able to breath a little easier and not have to look over her shoulder every time she walks out her front door. She can kind of live a somewhat more normal life (however much you can lead in the fishbowl that is hollyweird). Whatever happens I wish her the best. She has not always handled things in the classiest way but when she got knocked down she always got up, dusted herself off and continued on. Keep doing that and all will be fine. Will continue to be a fan because that is what real fans to, stick by you through good and bad times.
ReplyDeleteHonestly Kazrob, I don't understand this distinction. Yes, she made a bad choice, a MIStake. Every mistake is a choice. You just choose wrongly. SO many people seem to be dwelling on this idea, as if all choices are conscious, fully informed, well thought out, rational decisions. Were that true, rarely would any of us make mistakes. Saints we'd all be!

But we weren't in her shoes. I find it preposterous that any even pretend to be. Oversimplifying this does no one any good.

I know that you will not publish my comment, but never mind: you, for years, you made the supposed perfect relationship between Rob and Kristen your goodwill, when something happened that would contradict your belief, you give to these events the most fanciful and even absurd interpretations. I think one thing: if she really loved Rob, she would not have cheated with another. and if she no longer loved him but she continued to care about him and respect him she would have broken up with him in a clear and honest way. it would have been painful for Rob of course, but he would not feel humiliated and wounded as he must surely feel now. we do not humiliate someone we have really loved one day. because yes, I am convinced that she wanted to get caught by the paps. But that does not interest you, doesn't? you do not care about Rob, what you care about is Kristen, her feelings. what you want is Rob, even with a broken heart to take her again. this is pathetic!

I strongly disagree with the MISTAKE PART. Cheating is a choice, more than one hookup (which is obvious) is a choice not a mistake.
And the only people who know if there was sex or not (for me an essential information to keep or not a relationship) are Kris and that bastard. They could claim with tears that there was not sex, but the once the trust is gone I would always have my doubts.

ReplyDelete@Lizz22 - I just don't see how defending either or means you don't care about the other - you brought posts from somewhere else - not here - and make it seem because some of us choose to stand by her we don't also support him. Because I hope they make this out together doesn't mean I am saying bad things about him or saying he is a bad guy - hope is a human emotion as much as anger and hatred, we each make a choice which of those are best for us. If you want to crucify her - knock your socks off - your choice as it will be mine to defend her (I say that for anyone coming here to bash Rob). Neither need the negative support - do you think either are proud of fans that feel justified to hate either or (Kristen/Rob) because of their personal lives? Do you think Rob will high five someone saying shit about her, Kristen give a hug to someone trashing him? ReplyDeleteEvery day this week has been a little more hopeful but for some reason today I'm a bit sad. Maybe because I'm tired.
I support our Rob, whatever he decides. Of course, I want him to decide to open up his arms and heart and let Kristen in so they can heal together.
I'm sad for him that he is dealing with the constant media attention, speculation, and scrutinization. I'm sad for him because HE is hurting and sad. I'm sad for her because, bless that child's heart - she is not only hurting, she is getting so much hate and condemnation.
So glad they have supportive, loving, strong friends and family to help themm deal with this.
Here's to hope for both.

Isn't it ok to still care about Rob, who by all accounts, Kristen's included, has been the one who has done nothing wrong?
ReplyDeleteRose talked about what we know the other day, and based on the facts presented to us, we know that Kristen took responsibility for her actions, says she is upset by her mistake. Rob has done nothing. Once again going on what exactly we know.
I firmly believe that we have the right to be angry with someone we truly care about for their behavior. There is however a difference between anger and hatred. Hatred is not acceptable.
I am a romantic at heart, and I do hope that this is something that they can get through and move forward. In a perfect world they can. We do not live in a perfect world as everyone can attest to. We live in a flawed world.
In a flawed world, it's not easy to forgive someone who has hurt you terribly, but with love there is always hope. So I hope they can resolve this and move forward either as friends or as a strong and united couple.
All I want is for them to be ok. However they decide to continue their relationship.

And i believe in Rob. In his silence time, it' s the best way for him, and for Kristen too. We will see him for Cosmopolis premier and interview, we will know by then. If Rob decided to appear in front of media, i ' m sure he already have the answer for all of this even if he won' t talk about it publicaly.

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't visit a blog called Robert Pattinson Intoxication just about every day for the past three years if I didn't care about Rob. One of the most intoxicating things about him was the way he loved his woman and showed it without ever saying it out loud. When I finally realized that the allegations were true, I felt like I'd been punched in the stomach. I couldn't eat or sleep for three days. As it all hit me I had so much empathy for Rob because it only indicated what he must have been thinking or feeling only much worse and with absolutely everything invested. I've read personal stories on this blog in the last week of people who have cheated and been cheated on. I'm sure a few of those people who cheated would have sworn on their life that they could never cheat...until they did. I'm guessing some of those who were cheated on would have sworn that if they were ever betrayed like that the relationship would be over and done with instantly...until the person you felt like you loved more than life was the one you'd be walking away from. Relationships are rarely so black and white that they could end so simply. I can only guess that Rob is hurt angry and humiliated and as fucked up as this media circus surrounding his life is he won't always feel as devastated as he does now. At least I hope so because if he doesn't find a way to come to terms with it, it will haunt his life for a very long time and that would be absolutely horrible. For me holding on to the hope that Rob will find a way to forgive Kristen doesn't mean that it negates my concern and compassion for him.
ReplyDeleteI can be disappointed and disgusted by Kristen's actions and still support her and wish her well. Time will reveal whether she truly regrets her choices. If she refuses to learn anything from this experience she's bound to fuck herself over once again. For most of us, the majority of the people we know and interact with will never be privy to some of the most awful things we do to others or ourselve let alone the whole world. Kristen cannot say the same. If she come through this with her sanity more power to her.
People who love each other hurt each other everyday. It's one of those quirks of being human. I'm glad that humans also possess the crazy abilty ot forgive wrongs done to them.

Just because I am disappointed and saddened by what Kristen did does not mean I'm no longer her fan. I only want her to learn from this and realize what caused her to hurt people who loved her and grow from it.
If they decide to part ways I hope that as time passes they could at least be friends again one day.
I hope by November all this anger and hate people have will die down or I feel that Kristen especially will have a hard time making it thru photos and autographs at the premieres without someone hurting her. No matter if Rob doesn't forgive her he still wouldn't want her to be hurt because of what happened.
I can't wait to at least see pics of Rob in NYC so we can all see if he is doing alright.

Yes my coworkers would say " what are you laughing at!" I just can't swallow this! If yoou go back today and look at the pics again, Rupert (fuckin a Rupert) is looking straight into the lens! In another pic, Kristen looks back and smiles with a "you go this" look on her face! Kristen does not care about her reputation. Either I am in serious denial, or this really did happen, OR Rob and Kristen are seriously scamming us! Until I see with my own two eyes they are no longer together, I am refusing to believe all this breakup/cheating crap!!!

Can you imagine seeing people make horrible comments in a public forum about the person you love? Even if someone has hurt you deeply, love does not fade away overnight.
Does anyone truly believe that Rob or Kristen are so callous and uncaring that they would subject each other, their friends and their families to this kind of pressure, invasion of privacy and embarrassment?
If you can believe that of them, then I am left to wonder why you care about such people.
This is a real event in real lives, that just so happens to be taking place in the public eye. It's hurtful, painful and embarrassing to have so many people know your private business.
Please do not make this worse for them by turning this into a platform for an absurd agenda. Would you like this invasion of privacy in your life, or your child's life?

@torrimarie - I won't get into my theories as really they are just that, hell I have days full of theories on 9/11.
ReplyDeleteI don't think people aren't supportive because they are trying to make sense of what appears to be a very illogical situation (goes back to what you said - we never looked at Kristen as a home wrecker which btw that name is so overused and just pisses me off - he was married, he made vows and anyone with a pair of eyes can see he was clearly the aggressor - he broke his own house). Someone tipped them off - that they have no shame saying - that is where all the speculation comes from. I am not saying it is Rob/Kris at all but someone is playing a sick game and used the paps to unfold it.
After waaaaay to many lemon drops (I used pucker lemon vodka) and watching people draw the lines in the sand and deciding that they can now only be a fan of one or the other but 2 weeks ago sure supported both - I think I am more sad for us as fans at this very moment. People that were "friends" no longer talk or are pitted enemies over people, while we adore, we don't really know.
How are you liking pregnancy btw - I have 5 kids but I hated being pregnant (I love the babies but hated the process)
As always my hope is for them to come out of this ok - what fun is it to watch a fairytale if we never believe it can come true.

I shudder to think of what our electric bill will be, because of me constantly needing the air conditioning. But other than a few minor discomforts, I am really loving being pregnant.
ReplyDeleteI will not of course indulge in any further theories, but I will simply say that there doesn't seem too have been too much damage to that home that was supposedly wrecked. People living in that not so wrecked home, do not seem to be having the same problems as others. I am guessing that is simply because those people are uninteresting and unimportant. Of course I could be wrong.
I get the sense that the gossip sites are running out of ridiculous angles at this point. It reminds me of the low carb craze. I need to stop reading them because it's nothing but a bummer.

Hopefully if it's true that they are actually speaking to each other, they are able to block out all the outside stuff as best they can to figure out what's the next best step for them together and/or separately.
BD2 promo is still relatively a long ways away. I think by that time even if they haven't moved any closer back to friendship or back to a relationship that they are both professional enough to handle interviews and carpets without letting their personal life interfere with the project. I hope at some point between now and October/November Rob will get to the point where he'll be willing to meet up in person. There's no way it could be good for his first time being around her again were at some press related thing for
BD2.

@freddie, it's disgustng what stern said about rob. he pretty much called him stupid, and said go kristen you cheat! howard stern isn't the greatest person to tell you about morals. the only people that are happy about this are nonstens and nonberts. i've seen many people call out the nonstens, but i haven't seen anyone call out the nonberts at this time. they are saying rob was abusive to kristen, rob got what he deserved, and rob is a whimp, and rob needs to stick up for kristen. rob has been publicly humiliated by the person who loves him, he isn't going to say anything right now. everyone knows how important his privacy is to him.

It has been an 'emotional' week for us all - up one minute and down the next. For my part in all of this, my thoughts on Rob and Kristen have always been cut and dry. I work in therapy and i have witnessed and dealt with some very emotional and broken spirited people. It is very sad when two people are hurting; one taking themselves apart while the other is angry and confused. But i have always said that if there is love there and they both still love each other, then that love needs to be strong enough to help them through.
Yes i have sat and watched some 'opinionated' people in this fandom rip Kristen apart, hurl offensive and disgusting assumptions in her direction and i have felt nothing but the deepest regret for those who are not in this situation, yet you afford up your thoughts and your beliefs as if you are speaking the gospel truth. The sad case in all of this is too many invest too much of their time in this - believing you know best for Rob Pattinson, when you don't.
The young man is hurting we all can feel that and understand that, but so is the young girl in the centre of all this, yet that gets constantly overlooked. In a relationship that has this kind of problem; the solution is not to turn your back on the person who has injured and protect the injured one. You look at both of them, you try and work out why it has happened and then from that point onwards you look to then try and understand the reasons on both sides and try and make them heal.
I can stop any convo dead with my thoughts. Usually ends in laughter though.

ReplyDeleteInstead, i offer my hope and my sincerity that they can get through this by reaching out to each other, finding out why it has happened and then decide to heal or move on separately.
It is so easy to blame one member of the party, so easy to pass judgement on a young girl's stupid mistake. But believe or not, we are not perfect, the human race are not immortals. We can't sit on high and pass judgement on those below us, like we believe we have the right to.
Forgiveness is someting we have in us, the emotion to try and understand that we all make mistakes and it's those mistakes that we learn from. Right now, no one is beating themselves up more right now that Kristen herself. She blames herself in all of this, her part in the sorry mess we have found ourselves wrapped in. She has not blamed anyone else, or any problems she may or may not have been happening in her private life...she blames Kristen.
She loves Rob; her very confession alluded to that fact that she has hurt him deeply and for that, she will never forgive herself for.
Do you think Rob in all his anger and just shock, wants her hurting anymore than she is already putting herself through - are you that callous a fan to believe that?
Then clearly you have only ever been invested in him and him alone, and never stopped to think that a couple who have embraced love and been together for over 3 years, can suddenly stop loving each other. Ido believe in all my heart he loves her very much. She has let him down and shocked and angered him, but when the anger disappears like a fog, you are left in a state of bewilderment; why, when and how did this happen to me?
A lot of you are right, he does need to search for the answers, but he is not going to find them on his own, he needs to be able to sit and talk to Kristen; to find out why this was done, why this took place, and how do they get back to where they had been?
You are also further right, it won't be the same as they had before, because before will always be tainted with what took place. But they can, if they believe their love is strong enough to move forward and start afresh. Lay all their emotions out, communicate instead of putting it off. Understand each others feelings and stop hiding behind a cloak of negativity.
When you strip yourself raw of all your emotions, there is nothing left but a blank canvas, and you draw on that canvas what you want in your life.
You don't suddenly stop loving someone because they made a mistake. You are disapppointed in them yes, but you don't stop loving them.
I offer my advice as bet as i can;
Shout, yell, get angry at one an other. Cry and shout some more. Then hold each other, absorb each other's pain. Show how much you are sorry for what has happened by proving it. Words are meaningless when you don't back them up.
If Kristen wants Rob and only Rob, then she has to prove that her love is genuine and true. She has to prove he is the man she wants to be with; the only thing she wants in her life that is greater than anything else and that includes her career.
If Rob is angry at Kristen but still loves her, then only he can swallow the anger because it will only eat him up inside. Decide if she is worth a second chance, decide if his love for her is stronger than his anger.
When they can reach that decision, then they will move forward and they will beat this.
Why let one man come between them, why allow him to win?

@anna, she did cheat. the pictures don't lie. there have been some crazy rumors since this all started. the newest one is that kristen set this all up to move away from twilight. i might have lost all respect for kristen, but i believe in my heart of hearts that she wouldn't be that cruel. no matter what rob does i will respect choice. i just wish some robsten fans and kristen fans back off from him already. unless you have ever cheated and publicly humiliated the way he has no one knows what he is going through. give him the time and space he needs. if the mags are right then it sounds like he is starting to talk to her again. baby steps.

Rose, you are a tough cookie. I'm so sad that Robstenation is closing down. I feel like I'm losing hope...I know I shouldn't read BS articles out there. But I can't help myself. Read a piece about some psychic prediction shit that Rob will start a new realtionship in next summer. Arrrrrrr, I really can't imagine Rob or Kristen with someone else. God, their love was soooooo beautiful. The smiles on their faces were brightest when they're together. I really wish they could overcome this and be stronger as ever. True love is so different to find and shouldn't be let it go without a fight.

It so sad to see Robstenation leaving us, it was the most respectful blog out there that supported them both. I'm going to miss S and I hope she comes back. I'm ashamed at the rest of society that's been so quick and happy to judge about a situation people know nothing about! I'm ashamed that some Kristen fans are blinding defending her and blaming Rob for what happened. I'm ashamed that some of Rob's fans are happy he's hurting because it means that he's single now. WTF?!
ReplyDeleteI have my fingers crossed that R&K will work things out. I don't think 4 years together will be so quickly erased. They'll talk and work things out like mature adults. But, like you, I just want them to be happy, whether that's together or apart.
I think things are finally cooling down a little. The "200 Robsten articles a day" routine has stopped! I'm sure things will get fired up again when one of them makes their first public appearance but..things will be okay :)

I felt like losing hope after reading about S closing down her blog too but was encouraged by the comments left by Tempest.
Today, I was just going about my way, doing my own things in the mall, and then I came across a vintage shop that somehow reminded me of RK. If small little things like that remind me of them, I cannot imagine how it is like for the both of them. Their lives were so intertwined and they've been each others' rock for such a long time so it's very hard for me to imagine how they will just give this up without a fight.
Based on K's statement, I choose to believe she would want to fight for this and probably came to realization that she loves Rob dearly. Though Kristen is probably beating herself up like crazy right now but I hope she would not wallow in guilt for too long to think that she is not worthy of anyone's love anymore.
So I pray for peace, strength, wisdom, hope and love for them. Whatever they choose to do, I hope that they would choose what's best for them and not what they think the world wants from them. I just want both of them to be happy, together or apart.
Oh and staying away from gossip sites and twitter has helped me tremendously. I suggest the same for you (and the rest of us). Let’s just hang and support each other here! ;)
