Good evening everyone.
So I just read the rules of conduct and rules/regulations on RobstenDreams regarding camping outside the theater. I have some questions and a few comments.
1. you know the fans that stand behind the barricades along the red carpet, are those fans the same ticketed campers, and are they also guaranteed in the theater to see the movie?
2. you know the fans that stand on the bleachers across the street from the theater, are they also ticketed campers, or are they just fans that actually arrived there early to stand in line to get a spot on the bleacher? If so, how early do you have to stand in line to get a spot?
3. From what I read of the rules and regulations, it doesn't sound like what they have in place will keep the crazies out, the ones who will possibly be there to harass both stars. And if the selection process of campers is random, then I doubt Summit will have these people get background checked. Are there really crazy people who plan to attend the premiere?
4. I ask because if it's easy to get a bleacher spot, I will consider driving down there with my husband to join the bleacher fans since it's the last movie. I never thought about doing something like this before for any movie star, but I think after 4-5 years of watching from indoors, I'd like to actually see these people in the flesh, that would be nice:))) But if it's really difficult to get a spot on the stand, that's ok, I'll just stay home.

@Topaz - The camp is just to see them outside not theater admission (1200 camping spots up for the draw) and I believe the bleachers are included in the camp. Just from what I have seen around you have to give at least your name and address to get in the lottery. Yes the crazies go and I would hope they are weeded out otherwise why go through all the rules.

I am really concerned for Kristen's safety when she and Rob are together for the first time in the promotion. I want Dean and HBG right on top of them both. @Topaz - was playing video games - no this year is the 1st year for these rules but I guess they did this for the hunger games. I am sure that security is a big reason for doing this and this has a lot to do with Kristen's safety. I have three copies of Twilight.
One I downloaded, which was a total fck up. One I bought but I realized too late it was without R&K's comment. Copy 3, I ordered. I just had to have the one with their commentary and damn I wasn't disappointed. It makes the movie even better, Rob with his sexy husky voice, even then I think he was flirting with K. Sweet memories, I watched it zillion's of times. It's still my ultimate favourite.

I have 2 copies of Twilight and BD 2 similar to your reasons. I have enjoyed the comments about some posters having memorized the whole movie script. Lol. I guess I should not be embarrassed I am sure I've seen Twilight hundreds of times. I think there must be a drug for Twilight obsession but I want to be so I don't go to the doctor about it. As long as I can function in the real world that means I'm OK. Right?????:-)

Okay, maybe I'm just feeling bitchy at the moment, (politicians taking out some of my favorite shows will do that to me), but does any one else find it somewhat odd that E news has done three different stories centered on Nikki Reed in the past couple of weeks?
The topics have ranged from comments on a past boyfriend now painted with scandal, worms(!), and now her disappointment in promoting overseas without 'exploring'. There seems to be an almost desperate attempt to make her relevant again, or perhaps no one else from the 'Twilight' family will lower themselves to commenting on a gossip site that has been hell-bent on degrading two of the most beloved actors in the saga. Maybe it's just me, but she still comes across as pathetically needy through these unnecessary interviews.

Let me first say that I do not care about Nikki Reed. In fact, I am probably the only one on this blog that has never been up to date with the whole Nikki/Robert/Kristen thingy. I am completely clueless, but I keep hearing such bad things about her. So what is her deal? Why do RK fans hate her so much? I am not on twitter, but I am aware that NR has a twitter. Is it what she tweeted in the past that got fans all hating on her? What did she say? I am not in the loop when it comes to her, so forgive me if I find it strange that fans hate her so much. I am not trying to start trouble, just trying to understand where the hate for her is coming from.
Topaz/Loui - I feel you - they had us leave the office at 2:30 this afternoon to work at home because they shut a huge portion of the main highway down here tonight for the debate. I also will blame them for possibility of snow we have here :) LOL
Nikki - All I know is that she supposedly was in love with Rob - Rob was in love with Kris and Nikki wanted to insert herself in Kris's place. I don't pay her any mind but from what I hear she has a big mouth with a mind wild with fairy tales - all of which ends with her being the princess.

In my opinion with Nikki whatever happened between her and R&K left Rob with only acknowledging her when he has to and Kristen is nicer to her when they have to appear together but I doubt she hangs around with her on a personal level at all. She always makes me think that she is someone who deep down wants to be a singer just as much as a actress, you hear more about her singing with her husband than her acting.

Another thing I always found odd with NR is part of the issue was always K leaving MA for Rob, who NR was supposedly friends with, and it made them fight...but after all is said and done I've yet to ever hear of NR and MA ever hanging out since then.

He does appear to be hostile sometimes and also just not caring about anything she says. He for sure only works with her when he's forced to.
People always talk about her being the one to write the tell all book, but unless she's prepared to face R or K fans and each others haters, I don't think she would be that dumb. Let alone R&K have enough fame and popularity that they could probably sink her career if she did.

well, to me, it was always clear that Rob was in love with K. As for NR, maybe I am blind, but I never saw or read any real evidence that she was in love with Rob. Maybe because I never paid any attention to her because Rob was always attentive towards K.

Who is a fan of figure skating? Or more specifically, ice dance? Tessa Virtue and Virtue Moir are my favorite ice dancers. They remind of of Rob and Kristen. Ginger, I like football only when my team make it to the finals. I know, what kind of fan am I? But I grew up watching it as my father and late uncle were huge fans of the game, so I know most of the rules of the game :) But I do watch the super bowl and I always root for the underdog.
Dollspirit, well, you know, I've heard a lot of bad things about her in the past and present, but I am one of those who never/don't care enough about her to pay attention. To me, I really only saw friendship between her and Rob and Kristen. Maybe it was something she actually tweeted that caused the fandom to dislike her, but I have no idea what it is. I've never judged her. I don't really have an opinion about her. All I know is that when it comes to her, I am so out of the loop and I am ok with that.

I recommend a good movie I watched recently called "Jodhaa Akbar" on netflix if anyone has it. I also recommend a good movie called "Swades" that I also watched on Netflix. I Fell in love with INdian music after watching this movie. I didn't know that the main star was already a huge star in his home country for the longest time.
@ DollSpirit - I didn't say she was a bad person - in fact I really don't care about her but if you want clarification on something I did say - anyone willing to promote a pregnancy or their child (if that is the case) is a fucked up person - sorry how I feel and that is coming from being a mom - Exploit yourself but don't exploit someone who can't make the choice for themselves. We are all entitled to feel how we feel - no one gets a free pass to tell someone how they should feel.

@Super - like you, I own multiple copies and for the very same reason you describe! I have 2 Twlights, 2 New Moon, and the super duper Eclipse and BD1. Love, love the RK commentary on Twi and Eclipse. New Moon is the hardest for me, it was my least fave book. But the payoff when they're back together!!! :) I've got my tix to the marathon, I absolutely can't wait!

@Wig - I was actually surprised they came here for the debate - both have trailed the campaign through here a couple times cause we are one of those undecided states. They shut the highway down between 5-10 and a lot of businesses let people leave early to help - they estimated 70,000 cars go through that 6 miles during the time plus they shut down a lot of side streets. I was actually really surprised there was no gun control talk with the theater shooting still so fresh here.
On the topic of pregnancy, I get annoyed when people ask me when am I going to have a child? They tell me if I don't have one soon, I will have a difficult pregnancy. I don't know how to answer that question. I love kids (most especially when they are ages 4-7), but I just tell them I don't know :)

@Topaz - it is so odd - I was scared the 1st time too and people tell you horror stories that scare you more but honestly when they hand you the baby you forget. I love babies but am one of those people that hated being pregnant so towards the end I was just so over it I didn't care plus I have big babies so I always got induced early - largest was induced 2 weeks early and she came in a 9lbs .5 ounce and 23 inches long - I expected her to talk and walk when she born :)
Ginger, hehehe, that's a big baby :) LOL. Well, my husband thinks I am not physically strong enough to carry a child, he seriously thinks I will die of child birth. I told him I want one soon. I think of that day when I grow old and sick, I won't have any family to come visit me, take care of me. Sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone who doesn't have a child.

The hatred and jealousy in this fandom the last few days has become laughable. Reminds me of a daycare. Daycares have stories that they read to the children...So here is mine.
Once upon a time...
A beautiful girl had this beautiful guy doll. All the other little girls wanted that doll. They thought she was going to give it away. So they craved that doll. When would she walk away so they could snatch it up, they asked each other.
They had heard of the beautiful girl for years but they really didn't know her. They hadn't paid attention to how much the girl loved her doll. They hadn't noticed that the doll was her one and only loved and favorite doll. The doll was special and the bond between them was strong.
The beautiful girl wrapped her arms around the doll to hold on tight to it. She knew the other girls wanted what was hers but she had no reason to worry. The doll and her were bonded to each other. The magic only existed between the two of them and could not be captured by the other girls.
When the other girls saw that she wasn't going to let them have the doll, they do what all children do. They started throwing temper tantrums, calling the beautiful girl names. Threatening to destroy the two of them. They didn't see the way people walking by the daycare room where looking at them. Seeing them as jealous kids doing childish things.
The beautiful girl and her beautiful doll didn't pay any attention to what the other kids said. They were happy and wished all the kids would learn to love their own dolls. Play nice and if they didn't have a special doll then maybe one would come their way.
They wouldn't listen or see the truth that the girl was trying to convey to them. The other little girls cried and cried they didn't want their own dolls they wanted that one. They just couldn't realize why you don't always get what you want. Why you need to be happy with what you have in your own life.
The little girls needed to grow up and appreciate the dolls in their own life, the way the beautiful girl and her doll had. The girl and her doll learned that lesson and now their love and bond is even stronger and they know that's how you live happily ever after.
Everyone can have a happily ever after it's there for all of us we just have to see and believe. Grab hold of it and not let go.

Ginger I'm with you...I get around 4 hours of sleep a night. I work in a sleep center and I know that is not good for any of us. Doll, you're completely right we don't know NR, we know rumors, accusations and comments, that have been told about her, and speaking for myself only, I bought into those stories and judged her based on them. You're completely right and by falling into that trap, of willingly believing the BS written about someone I am not particularly fond of, while being upset when someone I do like is treated in the same manner. It's hypocritical and something I shouldn't have done and will try to be more cautious in the future to avoid doing again.
@Kami I know how you feel, sometimes we can enjoy a story about someone if it suits us and it's not easy to extend our compassion to someone if you haven't liked them for a long time. But even for us to admit that all the things we have heard may not be true is a steep in the right direction : )

The flu/cold virus is kicking my butt. I have been confined in my bed all day, just woke up from the intoxication of a much needed cough suppressant.
DreamerKind, thanks for the garlic suggestion. I actually ate some chopped up garlic yesterday, but it was actually sort of like pickled garlic, i think it tastes a lot better than raw garlic, and it did suppress my cough a little, but the virus likes to attack my body when i'm trying to sleep at night, and that really sucks because i can't seem to get enough sleep, and for that my immune system is not fighting back fast enough.

Ginger, Tuf, so what is up with Hulk Hogan? I remember driving to work a few years ago and on the radio station heard that he was going through a nasty divorce with his wife of many many years. As a kid, I just remember him as a WWF wrestler, the best wrestler, the one who always ended up winning the match, the one with the golden yellow hair, mustache, and beard. I actually thought the fights were real. My father and late uncle watched wrestling a lot back then. I remember sometimes the fights took place in cages, and i remember seeing fake blood? on them.
@Topaz - there is video of him having sex - I saw more of him than my poor eyes can handle - I didn't expect it when I opened the link - I would have passed had I known - just not my thing - was up there with hearing about my parents having sex - things in life I could have done well with never knowing LOL

@Kami - I agree, NR seems to need the Twilight train to garner any attention possible. I was just noting how pathetic Enews has become to lower themselves even more with the types of stories they resorted to with her in order to latch onto Twilight's popularity. I don't think they have much access to the upcoming promo tour for one of the most popular and anticipated movies for this year. It seems to me that they have burned quite a few bridges in their handling of the R/K reporting over the summer. Their salacious negativity over actual substance was appalling, and I hope they have been shut-out of any access to meaningful information that would bring the public to their site.
NR 'stories' are all they have and they are just as vapid as one might expect for a real pr hound, but they sure seem eager to print whatever they can with anyone associated with Twilight.

@Ginger - Hulk Hogan...eewwwwwww! too sad to contemplate. I'm sure a good stiff drink and a funny comedian could erase, (maybe distill?), that horrifying image. Have you ever seen the Irish comedian Tommy Tiernan? He kills me.
@Emily - I really appreciate Tempest's blog. Between her and Rose I am able to feel that their is still hope in humanity. Compassion, logic, and a wicked sense of humor are the excellent traits that both of these women share with the rest of us - and we are the beneficiaries. God bless them!
