I will share something.....when I was 19, shortly before I met my husband, I met this guy in English class one summer. Man, he was so good looking. I still remember his name to this day...Nathan McCloud, ha ha. At first, I thought he was of Hispanic descent. He had bronze skin, his black hair slicked back, and he was pretty ripped up but in a natural looking way, you know, ha ha. Our teacher wanted us to find a partner and edit each others' essay. He had a very soothing voice and a very beautiful smile. If he was a little bit taller, he could seriously be a model, ha ha. Anyway, he got to talking about himself personally and I found out he was Sioux Indian, and he just kept smiling at me, of course, afterwards that made me a little nervous around him during every class meeting because I wasn't sure what that meant. And he called me twice to inquire about our assignment, but then he wouldn't say much anyway, ha ha. We talked a little, and he was always smiling at me, but I found him a little strange. On the last day of class, I wrote my final essay in class, turned it in, and walked out of the classroom. He was still inside taking his exam. When I briefly turned around, he looked straight at me with his beautiful smile. I smiled back for a few seconds, then ran away down the hall, out the door, like a nervous chicken. Ha ha ha. That was the last I'd seen of him. But man, there are some seriously good looking Native American men out there.
@Topaz - Yeah this one is one of the really big ones so they get tribes from all over the US and Canada - more about prizes for dancing and drums. The one I went to on Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota was a lot more social - more for tradition vs prizes. My kiddo's are LaKota Sioux :) and yes there are some very handsome native guys

I remember when I was young we went to a Pow Wow in NC, can't remember which tribe, maybe Cherokee, I believe it was a traditional / heritage gathering teaching their way of life. I remember all the costumes and dances and as a kid thinking how great it was.

And while some of you folks are still getting snow, hubs and I are looking forward to going camping with my brother, sister in law, and neice and nephew, my younger brother, and my sister in two weeks. Last night, we bought a couple of sturdy campfire fold up chairs and a boxed collection of a mix of a whole set of badminton rackets, birdies, a net, and an inflatable volleyball.
