I'm not a very old visitor here, but, during the quite a few months I've been visiting, I came to think this is a very good place, a safe place for true Rob and Kristen's fans. I consider myself to be a good fan. I might be not, but I think I am.
I don't know why riots between the members of this blog break out every now and then. They make me feel bad. They make me feel uncomfortable here, and I don't like that. "So, what", someone may say. "You can just take your baggage and leave, it's not like Rose will start crying if you don't visit here any more..."
Yes, I know it, I'm not staying here because I will be missed, but because I will miss this place, Roses wonderful posts and all of your beautiful comments.
But, as I said before, I often don't feel comfortable stating my opinion, if that opinion is received as something gossipy or disrespectful towards two people I admire a lot and think they deserve nothing less than our love and respect. So I just read the article. Honestly, I am disappointed in Jules and really frustrated for K. As a mother, u are suppose to protect your daughter from the vile media, not give them an opportunity to exploit her and by talking about her, that is exactly what she allowed to happen. I wonder if K has read the article yet and if she is upset, I don't blame her at all. I feel bad for K, she just can't get a break, even when she is under the radar. Understandably, she is frustrated, but don't vent your frustration to the public, and especially leave your daughter out of it. How is this protecting your daughter? Man, I am concerned for K now. I wonder what is going through her head now. Who can she trust? Not all mothers are good to their daughters. I have witnessed it in my extended family. It was just the way I felt was what ran them and so many others away....because they so often had a difference of opinion...much like mine...somewhat.
I miss the old days when everyone could have different opinions without being callled out for them and accusations made.

Kinda like when my mom said "don't make me pull this car over." My response to her usually got me into even more trouble, with my brother laughing his ass off at me.
Today when I said something about the "grammar police"...I was JOKING! Was not even thinking of you. Just the "virtual grammar police". "If" they should exist.
Oh well, not everyone gets my sense of humor.

I am sorta OCD about grammar myself. Even though some would thing tht leaving a comma or semi-colon at the appropriates places, I HAVE to go back and put them in the sentence.
Just wondered about your pot and kettle statement.
I believe it should have been written "calling the kettle black" not "back". If I'm wrong let me know, but that is the way I've always heard it expressed. It could have just been a typo. Not calling you out about it, just struck me funny. Please don't be upset. This is written with a sense of humor. Sometimes, emails, comments, etc. can be read with a tone that is not there. I make many typos and mistakes.
Regarding the article about Jules Stewart. I think the writer is another trickster, just a fraction above the internet rags we detest.
1 She uses the name Twilight in the title of her article which = website hits = $$$
2 She uses Kristen's name in the tag line of the article = more website hits
3 Could they have taken a more unattractive picture of Jules?
4 She freely identifies the city and the name of the building and a myriad of details, decorations, painting of the place, the garage door, Kristen collectables of the supposed Kristen retreat (no ethics there) all about Kristen only
5 She puts her personal opinions in the article saying Jules is often enraged (the writer's view only), stating that she is competitive with her daughter (another personal opinion of the writer)
6 For all we know the interview was 2 hours long, mostly about how it was to direct the film, but she fills her article with a majority of comments about Kristen and makes it appear that is what was on Jules' mind. I think she probably talked about making the movie, but hardly any of that made it into the article
Just because it's the LA Times doesn't mean we should believe what they wrote!!!!

a friend of mine and i have this running joke, where we refuse to accept each others cliches when we write to one another
after awhile we just got lazy and started rewording actual cliches in ways we think are funny
so yeah the pot calling the kettle back, would be pot calling the kettle black just like brown horse should just be horse
