@Arleen- You would be correct - they stopped at the gas station before they headed to Malibu - both sets of pictures were from the same day and Kristen and the dogs were in Malibu as well

It would be so nice to see Kristen joking around with Bernie or Rob instead of being so solemn. I guess she has her reasons. Rob could care less that paps are taking his pics. I think the more she reacts to the paps presence, the more they want to take her "non-smiling" pic. I love Rob's "ooh, did you miss us" expression to Bernie. I know that Kristen smiles...we all know that. I just wish she could learn to relax more and not give the paps what they want...pics of Kristen not smiling. Also, someone posted on another website that it is against the law to leave pets in cars. I absolutely know that K&R only went in long enought to by snacks at gas station and that the dog(s)were never at risk. @tuf, how could anyone here hate you for your opinion??? we all know how much you love R/K. What I think of this, though, is that Kristen would probably love to feel differently, more free or whatever, but until that happens inside, she has to just be herself.

I've been so pressed for anything but lurking time, but it's for good reasons. The school where I work has about 50% of the students below the poverty line. we decided to start an informal, free after school choir for a Mother's Day concert. We don't have hardly any after school or extra curricular fun activities because of funding issues. We opened the choir sign up and 70 kids signed up-- there are just over 300 kids in our whole school, so this is massive!!! I'm helping with the k-2 age. It is so fun! They are so excited and just loving the opportunity to sing. I was in choir all through school, even in college, and love to sing, so it's just a blast. Anyways... a little fun news to brighten everyone's day, hopefully. We have to look for the beautiful these days, when RL can look so sad and tragic.

I think they are there for each other as needed, each calming the other. I know a lot of people think that they KNEW the paps were there when they were walking down the street smiling a couple of weeks ago but I'm not so sure they knew. They seemed too relaxed ... but who knows?
I believe that having the kind of relationship where they have each other to calm each other down is wonderful. Like the other person is THERE for you. Unfortunately, I didn't have that kind of relationship with either of my marriages. I was always the one doing the calming.

@LIZZIED, ITA it's sweet to see a give/give relationship. I feel so very blessed that my husband is that kind of partner... I know it's special and everyone doesn't get to experience that.

I attended impoverished schools all throughout elementary school and high school. I know what it's like to not have any extra curricular activities. I suppose that's why as a child, I attended church and joined a church youth group. They took us to different places together and did so many things together. Without them, I would not have had such kinds of stimulating experiences, so I considered myself lucky. We formed a close bond, a sense of belonging or whatever you want to call it. It was a big part of my life growing up. It is really nice what you are doing for the kids at the school, so hugs to you too.
