ReplyDeleteI'll go first. Mine is the first Twilight. It's when we first see the characters from Stephanie's book come to life through Catherine Hardwick's direction; and the chemistry between R&K as B&E makes me nearly faint.
I've said this before but it's been awhile and I'm feeling snarky. The Nonnie's or whatever they call thenselves should set their sights on someone who would appreciate all the attention they want to lavish on a guy. And my recommendation is someone who might even respond to their pleas, and maybe hook up with some of them. I give you Larry the Cable Guy.

@tuffenuff I think you will find the majority to be Twilight and that's no suprise when the two principal actors are in that camp. Me, I liked this last one the best and have played parts 1 and 2 back to back. I was excited for a long time to see Kristen transform her character. Movie snobs say they were all lame but I liked the saga. And I know lots of guys, who if they actually watched without pre-conceived notions enjoyed the Saga. But yeah, seeing Kristen drop that "slouchy alt thing" deserves more credit than it gets.

Rob & Kristen's chemistry was just sizzling off the reel and I just love the prom dance scene, but my fave scene, not movie, of all goes back to New Moon when Bella begs Aro for Edward's life and steadfastly tells Aro he knows nothing about Edward's soul. Probably, New Moon is the least fave for everyone. There was just too much Jacob and not enough Edward, but for me, New Moon still beats Eclipse. Slade did not get it at all.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if what Suzie wrote in Instagram about Coachella is any indication to whether Rob and Kristen will go there or not. It could be either way, might be going or not.
As for the birthday party, I was joking to a friend that I could use a photo with a caption underneigh with the names of the people in it, and probably someone listened to my request. LOL I don't know about you, but I'm having some serious trouble keeping up with all their friend's names and occupations. I can now say who is who for about 6 or 7 of them, I guess I'll have to do some serious studying!
The weather here is wonderful, temperature around the 80's. I can't believe I have so many things to do that I barely found an hour this morning to go for a walk.

U really brought back memories cause I love the Go Go's. Saw them in concert in '81/'82? Them and Bryan Adams opened up for Journey. One of the best concerts I ever saw. Such a mix but all rockers in their own way. Anyway they were such an awesome mix of ladies and I will never hear that song and not think of Rob and Kristen again....so smart you are. One time I played drums in a club in Minnesota, while the band was on break. The drummer told me not bad, because I went insane as I did. That was my ticket to oblivion.

@Topaz - 6 stages Fri-Sun for 2 weekends. Weekend passes are about 350.00 each weekend and VIP are about 800.00 each weekend. Plus you can camp, park, or lodge which is all separate. About 5k for 4 people out of town for the weekend depending on how you do it all.

My husband is pretty easy. So I asked him this morning after I explained to him what it is, and he said simply, "Ok, I don't mind." Ahahaha.....but then he said it sounds kinda ghetto and dirty like woodstock where people can camp and piss all over the ground, and that it's a lot of money just to listen to music, but if I really want to go, we can, but that means we probably won't go on another vacation. So we will think about it. I hope the tickets don't sell out fast.

ReplyDeleteI was just checking all the latest Coachella pics at RPLife and the comments were mostly from sensible fans, mostly recognizing R/K as a couple and glad to see them, or refraining from commenting negatively if not. But then some had to get on an speculate that R/K are "just friends", and "what's wrong with people stating their opinion", etc. etc. It's just beyond sensibility, that's all... if Rob and Kristen aren't a couple, neither has a significant other. Duh. "It's so obvious", to quote Kristen. But, it comes down to people believing what they want to believe. If there were pics of them making love (God forbid!!!) people would still never believe it.
You gotta laugh to keep from crying, or going crazy!

InTruth and PamH --- I agree with both of your comments about R & K being seen during the "ultimate intimacy" ... that some STILL wouldn't believe they are together AND HAPPY!!! BUT, they were all so ready to believe there was something so much more than the pics we saw last summer. THEY ARE CRAZY!!!

@Pam - I am not sure - it maybe backstage access or just different band advertisement. I know they have a ton of vendor booths too that give out swag and bands

ReplyDeleteI figured once you pay for a ticket it covers every band there but couldn't figure out what all the different bands were for. Your probably right that its VIP access or vender/band promo stuff
I hope whatever pap that photoed them today isn't following them around everywhere they go now.
