1. I just got back from a 10 day trip.
Seattle.
Alaska.
It was wonderful.
I was basically cut off from online stuff.
And while there were a couple of people
I wanted to keep in touch with...
It was nice to get 'away'.

After last July...
Everyone said they were 'broken up'.
No statement was ever made.
A supposed moving out.
Endless gossip about 'after' the break up.
Kinda like now.
People often ask me what I think is going on...
And not that my opinion matters
but..
(be careful what you ask for!)
I think Rob and Kristen are 2 passionate people.
They love hard.
And that means they fight hard, too.
Do I think they are 'broken up'?
Not really.
But I do think things escalated to what we have now.
People get angry.
People say and do things they might normally not say and do
under calmer more rational circumstances.
Neither Rob or Kristen have behaved like 2 people
who have just opted out of a long term relationship.
They can find their way back to each other.
If that's where they want to be.
But its their relationship... their life.
They will do what they want in their own time.

They are the best of friends and their friendship and their mutual friends are the glue that keeps them together. (That plus a shared history and lots of love.) Maybe this movie with Tom and Kristen will serve as the catalyst to bring them back together.

ReplyDeleteBeen a while since I posted, I lurk though. Just let me say that I stand 100% behind Rob and Kristen, in their careers and relationship. I do not believe they have broken up. I have only seen bits and pieces on my Twitter timeline as I don't visit rag mag sites, but as far as I can see this whole "thing" began with a paps photo's of Kristen and a made up story. Now if I am wrong,kindly point me in the direction of the proof of so called breakup and I will listen rationally. In the meantime I continue to believe in their love. I want R/K to be happy, and they certainly look happy and healthy. Not like two people who after 5 years have decided to part ways. Am I delusional? Perhaps, but I don't believe rag magazines who are only in the business for hits on the internet and money. Rob and Kristen happy and in love don't sell, drama does.

JMF.....I was going to post a reply just like this. I don't get it either.....what breakup? Call me delusional too then. I didn't believe all that crap from last July either. The angst and drama is fueled by the paps and rag mag/sites and then set ablaze by this fucked up fandom...I think that is how Rose describes it....fucked up. The paps and rags will publish pics that support their garbage they try to feed us and low and behold, the haters just eat that shut up. They love planting the seeds of doubt among us....put one side against the other. I refuse to play or eat their shit anymore. I don't give them hits or buy/browse their mags. I don't and won't go to a rag site to view pictures either. Until Rob and or Kristen make a statement or show us otherwise that they are no longer available...I will keep Rose's motto.....Rob and Kristen ALWAYS end up together.

Pisteuo, we took an Alaskan cruise when our daughter was a performer on a cruise ship. Saw whales, bears, glaciers, marmuts - just incredible beauty. I don't think I've ever been so relaxed.

DK- Actually, I have a husband and a fifteen year old daughter to think about. Sorry. I am just being honest. Anyways, I am sure there are other singles ladies out there for you. But not me. I am still married for all time eternity. And I love my husband and my daughter. Without him and his family I don't know where I be. I was eighteen when I met him when I got out of foster care system. He was in his 20's when I met him. Just like Kristen when she met Rob. But her situation is different then mine. They have a good families than mine. I am just jealous they got to be with their families thru their childhood. And I didn't. I am just jealous with the families part not the relationship. I am happy with my relationship with my husband.

It sounds like the weather has greatly improved in Colorado. It has been like a tropical rain forest here and I am pissed because I am expecting 50-80 people for a retirement party for a coworker on Friday. Everything that could go wrong has gone ...wrong....
Too wet for the yard man to come, too wet for the painters to finish the new front door( which my hubs talked me into having the trim painted black and I hate it and need to get that fixed before Friday)..the light bulbs are out on the front porch, I look out on the porch this morning and one of the cats has thrown up all over it...yay...oh let's see....I had a downstairs toilet overflow last week and so we had that replaced, hmmmm....I had a wine cooler installed under the counter but the electrical connection accidentally got hooked up to the connection for the overhead lights so every time we turn the lights off, it turns the wine cooler...OFF..uh huh...Well I have collected 30 bottles of wine and I am going to be needing it by Friday..
Oh, I had to take the foyer rug to the warehouse...the new Front door won't open with it in the way....:(((. :(. (:

Hi Rose, nice to hear from you. I hope you had some good R&R. Alaska but also Canada have been on my to-visit places for a very long time. Seen so many documentaries, the nature looks breathtaking. I got to visit the States when I was 17 as my sister and her husband lived in Philadelphia but I didn't get any further than NY. So much to see & experience for a 17 yr old.

As for R&K, well I have my good and bad days. Don't know what to think of it anymore, some things still feel off and sometimes I get the feeling they are making certain statements without saying anything.
Then again, what's the point of me running around in circles, reflecting my own experiences in life upon them, making assumptions while I don't even know them.
I wish them all the love, happiness and success in the world, I will always have a soft spot for them but if they have moved on, I think it's best for me to do the same. I'm sorry I really don't want to sound like some drama queen but you know I've only ever seen them together, their love and adoration for each other and seeing them with other partners is gonna kill me.

ReplyDeleteREGARDING YOUR POST -- thank you for your wonderful, logical, words of wisdom. No matter what is going on with R & K, I truly believe that it is temporary. Many have disagreed with me over this issue regarding couples separating ... but personally, I believe that it can help save relationships rather than break them apart. Every couple is different so people have to do the right thing for "them".
In my opinion, IF they've had a disagreement and IF they are separated, then it might actually help their whole relationship as they will most likely deal with ALL of their issues and not just the one that caused the disagreement. And the last time I checked, ALL couples have some "issues." This (separation) could be very healthy in the long-term for them.
I think they are fine, really! Am I going to believe the Rags...hell no! All of it is just lies. Would they be smiling ear to ear if they broke up? Don't think so! Anyway I'm not going to stress over it. I have my own life and kids and soon will be moving in our new house soon. Am I excited? Hell ya!

Pist, we went in July, and it was perfect. IF you take a cruise, I think the ships transition from Alaska down the west coast and through the Panama Canal to the Caribbean in September, so late Spring - early Fall is the time for cruising the Inside Passage. Do it! We never considered ourselves "cruisers", but we really had a great time!

They are asking people to let them know what other TB people they'd like to see, of coarse it won't be the main stars, but so far Jessica and Jason are the most picked - Larry picked Lafayette....we will see who attends come Sept.

ReplyDeleteYou know it doesn't matter if you believe R/K are still together, had a fight and are on the mend or broken up, as long as you're respectful to other opinions and to R/K, you're entitled to your opinion. Me, I twirl one day, stumble the next but I agree with Rose, Kristen and Rob look happiest next to each other. My hubs and I broke up for a short period before we were married and we just celebrated our 32nd anniversary.
Too bad Tom didn't win the Tony. There'll be other chances. At least we'll see Rob's fave 2 people in a film again. Let's hope Kristen & Tom will have more scenes together.

ReplyDeleteI see people are still getting heated over the subject of R&K. I honestly don't know what to think anymore other than I wish their friends would give them some space to figure things out. (That is if there is anything TO figure out.)
I know the tabs are filled with gossip and lies and the latest I heard was that Leo was scooping Rob up for the summer so he can show him how to date a bevy of models and live a shallow life. Much as Rob admires Leo's career, I don't think his personal life is one that he'll want to emulate. Rob seems much too cerebral and sensitive for that.
I think they are trying on all sorts of original things in their personal lives these days; new friends, novel ways of dressing, different venues. Remember they lived in the Twilight bubble for a long time. I think this exploration that they are experiencing is similar to that of a typical kid in college who is getting their first taste of freedom and independence.
There is a scene in the movie Rock Star where Mark Walberg and Jennifer Anniston separate after he gets sucked into the glitz, drugs, and glamour of the industry. They find their way back to each other at the end of the movie; altered, wiser, but still in love. I don't know why, but this movie sort of makes me think of them.

Information vs Fact/Knowledge:
I guess I'm kinda blown away with how gulible and thirsty some people are when it comes to celebrity gossip. I was reading an article about this, on how we are able to access a nearly limitless supply of information on the internet...much of it from "unknown sources". In fact, the very nature of the medium allows anyone with an internet provider and a modicum of skill to disseminate whatever information he or she chooses.
With the result being a world wide web of academic excellence, inadvertent ignorance, and blatant bias.
So, advice of the day...be very careful from where and from whom you seek your information from.
I say we all support Rob's and Kristen's career and leave "their" relationship to "them" to sort out.
And I don't know about anyone else but, I can hardly wait for a teaser trailer for The Rover!

ReplyDeleteJust because I made a comment that gave a nod to what the tabs say doesn't make me a tabloid stalker. I am a member of several boards where this topic is often discussed. I thought this site was supposed to be a place for us to talk about our appreciation and our speculations about Robert Pattinson. More recently, however, I have noticed that if anyone dares to share any thoughts on his relationship with Kristen Stewart they are then called all sorts of names and told to mine their business. It’s a bit insulting to those who dare make a comment about something they've either read or heard about regarding this couple and being dismissed as ridiculous and naive. Quite frankly I have become afraid to say anything anymore and that's too bad; this was the one site I felt safe and accepted.
It’s nice to make friends on this board, but I thought the blog was originally started as a place for those who were intoxicated with RP and not to simply discuss recipes and weather reports, (Although I certainly enjoy reading and discussing that as well.)Rose herself has been enchanted by their friendship, as is evidenced by her posts and her pictures of them. I don't think there is any reason why people can't share their own thoughts, even if it is to mention some silly article they've read over their bowl of Wheaties. Most of us here are intelligent enough to know that kind of stuff should always be taken with a grain of salt.

I apologize for taking any comments personally. When I read yours and some other’s remarks after my post I assumed that you were referring to my comment about the Leo inviting Rob to Florida comment. I know that is likely to be pure crap and I guess I felt like my observation was misunderstood and that people thought I believed everything I read. I like what you have to say and I'm sorry I was, well, being a witch with a capital B.
I still maintain though that it should be okay for people to share a few tidbits; albeit with the disclaimer that this is something they heard, and not necessarily what they believe. Although it may ignite some debates, as long as people are respectful, speculation can be fun. For me it is a form of escapism and nothing more.

ReplyDeleteWhenever I am reading your posts I think for myself that our way of perceiving RK is attesting about us than about them much more.
Warmth, kindliness, concern, faith in emotion are emanating from many posts of especially these persons which already have quite a lot of life experiences behind them.
Perhaps it is a sentimentality although I don't think so completely.
Of course we don't know RK personally, we sense their merits and demerits more or less accurately on the basis of subjective observation of 4-5 last years.
We want to see valuable, loyal people in them, which even if are making mistakes, as we everyone, are in fact noble and generous persons.
We want them to ripen and grew up different from this plastic Hollywood community.
They are surprising us, perhaps they are disappointing our expectations, but if we cannot still become indifferent, we are still supporting them it after all caused with sympathy.
And fantastically is to share these feelings.
It is their life, not our, after all happiness comes down to so that can love and are loved irrespective of how very much we are different, it is truism, but indeed real.
A life isn't a fairy tale, a film isn't reality, but whether real world isn't writing the most beautiful scripts often?
I want this happy ending and the beginning for RK, above all together, if written them…
In my opinion they are experiencing the difficult phase now whether will find a way of making contact with each other the time will show.
It will be hard to accept them from other if this way happens or maybe easily than we think seeing their smiling eyes and happy faces again, I don't know, I cannot predict my reaction.

It's the same in life, where people tell you what someone supposedly said and it's never the same, different intonation, things added on and it's starts leading it's own life.
When in my private life, people talk gossip, I never take it at face value that's why it's so ironic that I have my weak days when it comes to R&K while I should and do know better. Really strange.

Have family members who've been and pics and video can't even capture the beauty of an iceberg they said. Although urs was pretty good. I remember family gathered to watch video of icebergs from ship and all in-laws kept saying was "that doesn't even come close to what it looked like....video didn't even capture all the color....I wish y'all could have been there to see" yada yada yada lol. The waterfall was breathtaking. Wish I could stand under something like that. Hope ur friend is resting peacefully and vaca was rejuvenating. One of many things I agree with you on is we all have to live our own life.

Dior and Florabotanica news was great for both (Thank you Birdie because I can never spell it). Next we have filming for both next month which is even better. Sydney and I smell like camp fire since the crazy wild fires here have the smoke rolling into the city. The temps cooled down which I am sure the fire fighters are thankful for - high winds and over 100 degree temps were not helping at all.

ReplyDelete@Sue - I am :) - we had a grass fire about 2 miles from my work yesterday but they got it out fast. The big one is in Black Forest which is about 20-30 mins from here - at least 360 homes / 15,000 acres since Tuesday and is making the air pretty rough for people to breath. If we get the ash more down here we basically get stuck indoors. Our fire fighters have a really rough job ahead as the fire is at 0% containment from the temps and wind, they don't think lightning sparked it either. So yes we will take every ones rain
