Rooms on Fire

Somewhere out in the back of your mind
Comes your real life and the life that you know
It seems like it was the creation
of some of those same old things
It seemed to be the only thing left out in the light

She had trusted many
But been unfamiliar with
Almost everyone but you

Well maybe I'm just thinking that
the rooms are all on fire
Everytime that you walk in the room

Well there is magic all around you,
if I do say so myself
I have known this much longer
than I've known you

She had trusted many
And then there would be someone
who would enter into her presence
That she could sense for miles
She dreamed of her wanton luxury
And she laughed and she cried
and she tried to taunt him
And he hated to be separated
From that picture... No

Well maybe I'm just thinking that
the rooms are all on fire
Everytime that you walk in the room

Ooh, well there is magic all around you,
if I do say so myself
Well I have known this much longer
than I've known you

Ooh there is magic all around you
Everytime you walk in the room
Well maybe I'm just thinking
that the rooms are all on fire
Everytime that you walk in the room
Well there is magic all around you,
if I do say so myself
Well I have known this much longer
 than I've known you

Thank you Stevie Nicks.

Sometimes the fire is so intense...
Scorching hot
You might need to turn down the flame every so often
But it never goes out.

Final Thoughts.

1. I've been getting all sorts of emails/comments/tweets
telling me how 'cruel' I am when I talk about September.
And the number 9.
Um. Seriously?
Why can't September just mean... September.
My favorite month of the year.
Maybe 9 really is just a number.
Did I ever say it meant more?
Nope.
Sometimes I tweet stuff that has NOTHING to do
with Rob and/or Kristen.
Because unlike so many others...
I do have other interests besides them.
There really is a world beyond Rob and Kristen.
(Go forth and explore!)
My tweets aren't cryptic clues...
Sometimes they are just silly tweets.
Yeah... I admit...
I might like to push the Lunatics buttons from time to time
(they make it SO easy)

So how about people relax
and stop taking shit so seriously?
Stop trying to interpret my words.
Because you're usually wrong.

And lighten the fuck up, Francis.
Smile.
Laugh.
Twirl.
Find something else to do besides obsessing
over every inane insignificant detail in
Rob and Kristen's life.
They will be just fine.
Really.

2. 2014 will be a phenomenal year
for Rob/Kristen.
And no...that's not cryptic.
(Or is it?)
I'm talking about the fact that they will each
have TWO movies coming out...
So we get to watch them do their job
and maybe see them dress up and do interviews
and stuff like that.
Which I like.
A lot.

3. CJ posted this pic on his instagram.
"I won't give um the bird, I'll give um the Bee! #bumblebee"

OH NOES!
WHAT DOES IT MEAN??
OH MY LAWD HE HAS A BEE TATTOO!
HE MUST BE FLIPPING OFF ROB AND DIOR!
CONSPIRACY!!!

So... would CJ get a Dior Bee tattoo...
(Is it a tattoo?)
just so he could flip off Rob?
(Did you even KNOW that there was a Dior Bee?)
Kinda far fetched... isn't it?
Even for CJ.
Sure.
I'm sure he likes messing with this fandom...
who doesn't?
(The Lunatic Fringe makes it easy to make fun of)
But sometimes people take the conspiracy theories
A BEE TOO FAR.

Maybe he likes Bees.
Bees.

Maybe He adores Rob SO much he thought
it would be cool to get a Dior Bee tattoo...
Bees.

Maybe the Bee is a OG symbol of love!
Bees.

Maybe he was just saying...
"Hey Rob and Kristen Bee together and say FUCK YOU"
Bees.

Maybe the Bee has nothing to do with Dior...
Bees.

Maybe people are just fucking crazy
and like to get all pissy and bitter over nothing
Because that is ALL they know.
Bees.

This post is brought to you by Freedom of Choice.

I'm not here to tell anyone what to think.
Or how to feel.
That's up to you.

I already know what I Bee-lieve.

And of course...

So. Fucking. Cute.

What would a post be without Tom?
Love is long.

Until next time.

Bye for now

  4. I am so shallow. So shallow and not deep in my thinking. I just love without thought. How does that happen? Duh, don't know. Love Rose, love this post, love R&K. cause I sway that way. Sway towards love that gives life, that relieves pain, that is..

  7. Rose Rose Rose. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the gif of Tom at the end. and I agree with you on the why does everyone take everything they read or see so seriously. I too believe 100% that Rob and Kristen will be A.O.K and that they are ok and happy even now.

I am really excited to see their new movies and the interviews. I hope they are enjoying life.

Dk. from the last post comments whats this about a cilantro bath?? I love cilantro as well. wonder how it would go with some mint or peppermint??

Pist. I for one love it when you post and speak your mind and say what needs to be said. I just have one disagreement with something you said in the last post comments. and that was about life being serious. I don't think it has to be, I mean yes It should and does to some extent but I think life should be full of fun and enjoyment. But that works for me and I'm ok with that. Glad to see you back even if you just pop in. hope everything is great and Happy with you.

Super hello and hope things with you are grand!

everyone else I hope you all have a marvelous night!

  8. Your voice is a clarion

Read All About It (Part III)

    Emeli Sande:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3sa9JPe-R8

    You've got the words
    To change a nation
    But you're biting your tongue

    You've spent a lifetime
    Stuck in silence
    Afraid you'll say something wrong
If no one ever hears it
How we gonna learn your song?

    So come, on come on
    Come on, come on
You've got a heart as loud as lions
So why let your voice be tamed?

    Baby we're a little different
There's no need to be ashamed
    You've got the light
    To fight the shadows
    So stop hiding it away
    Come on, Come on

I wanna sing, I wanna shout
    I wanna scream
    Till the words dry out

So put it in all of the papers
    I'm not afraid
They can read all about it
    Read all about it oh
    Oh-oh-oh
    oh-oh-oh

    At night we're waking up
    The neighbours
While we sing away the blues
Making sure that we remember yeah

    Cause we all matter too
If the truth has been forbidden
Then we're breaking all the rules
    So come on, come on

Let's get the tv and the radio
    To play our tune again
Its 'bout time we got some airplay
    Of our version of events

There's no need to be afraid
i will sing with you my friend
    Come on, come on
I wanna sing, I wanna shout
I wanna scream till the words dry out

    Yeah we're all wonderful
    Wonderful people
So when did we all get so fearful?
    Now we're finally
    Finding our voices

    So take a chance
    Come help me sing this
    Yeah we're all wonderful
    Wonderful people

So when did we all get so fearful?
    And now we're finally finding
    Our voices
    So take a chance
    Come help me sing this

So put it in all of the papers,
    i'm not afraid
They can read all about it
    Read all about it oh

  10. Thank you, Marley.
I meant life as...breathing. Living it to it's fullest and being happy. It's "things" that should not be taken seriously. Life is a gift and we should all take that serious and make the most of it.

    ReplyDelete
  11. To me, life is the most serious ending and undertaking there is. It is very hard to navigate our way to happy.

The other night, I was talking with a man around 40. He said he was trying to love one woman for his whole life. He had three children with her, and wanted to be dedicated.

I said it is very hard, and that his generation was not taught nor had experienced, what earlier ones did-that life is harsh and kills, whatever it can.

Choose wisely I said, choose love although it is the hardest path, and that I now wish, I had paused to do so, instead of running toward something else. Although in the goodness of life, all is turned into love, later, when we notice.

I now thank him for the tawny port we shared. That was congress, oneness, not being alone, but not a lie. Hear ye. Two or more, gathered, there can be love.

    I Feel Pretty

    Hayley Westenra:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzKOBs9ds0o

    I feel pretty
    Oh so pretty
I feel pretty and witty and bright
    And I pity
Any girl who isn't me tonight

    I feel charming
    Oh so charming
It's alarming how charming I feel
    And so pretty
That I hardly can believe I'm real

See the pretty girl in that mirror there?
Who can that attractive girl be?
    Such a pretty face
    Such a pretty dress
    Such a pretty smile
    Such a pretty me!

    I feel stunning
    And entrancing
    Feel like running
    And dancing for joy
    For I'm loved
    By a pretty wonderful boy

Have you met my good friend Maria
The craziest girl on the block?
    You'll know her the minute
    You see her
    She's the one who is
In an advanced state of shock

    She thinks she's in love
    She thinks she's in Spain
    She isn't in love
    She's merely insane

    It must be the heat
    Or some rare disease
    Or too much to eat
    Or maybe it's fleas

    Keep away from her
    Send for Chino
This is not the Maria we know
    Modest and pure
    Polite and refined
    Well-bred and mature
    And out of her mind!

    Miss America, Miss America, speech!
    ¡Ay, qué linda te ves!
    Miss America, bravo, speech!

    I feel pretty
    Oh so pretty
That the city should give me
    Its key
    A committee
Should be organized to honour me

    I feel dizzy
    I feel sunny
I feel fizzy and funny and fine
    And so pretty
    Miss America can just resign

    I feel stunning
    And entrancing
    Feel like running
    And dancing for joy
    For I'm loved
    By a pretty wonderful boy

How long has this been going on?

    With their fancy persuasion
    Don't admit that

    But I can't help but

How Long Has This Been Going On

    Sarah Vaughan:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbydK6ILi8w

    'Neath the stars, at bazaars
Often I've had to caress men
    Five or ten dollars
    Then I'd collect
    From all those yes-men

on't be sad, I must add
    That they meant no more
    Than chessmen

    Darling, can't you see?
    'Twas for charity
Though those lips have made slips
    It was never really serious

    Who'd have thought
I'd be brought to a state
    That's so delirious?

    I could cry salty tears
    Where have I been
Where've I been all these years?

A listen you, tell me do
    How long has this
How long has this been goin' on?

What a kick, how I buzz
    Boy you click
Boy you click as no one does
    Here me sweet, I repeat
How long has this been goin' on?

Dear when in your arms I creep
    That divine rendezvous
Don't wake me if I'm asleep
    Let me dream it's true

Kiss me twice, then once more
    That makes thrice
    Let's make it four

What a break, for Heaven's sake
    How long has
How long has this been goin' on?

Dear when in your arms I creep
    Ooh That divine rendezvous
Don't wake me if I'm asleep
    Let me dream
Let me dream that it's true

Oh tell me, tell me, how long, how long
    Has this been going on?
Tell me how long, how long, how long

How long, how long, how long
Ooh tell me, tell me, how long
    Mmm tell me

Ethics? Very rough. It takes deep and ponderous thinking, along with an ability to make sense of abstract thought. Booze is required, as the ancients who pondered such knew, with their chosen brews.

There’s a game in the world
A little bit of cat and mouse
With the boys and the girls
And if I had to ante up

I’d bet on the birds, ’cause they
Don’t have to get caught up
With the boys and the girls
And a little game of cat and mouse

Mommy did it, daddy did it
    The funny little monkeys
    In the zoo do it

    The stupid does it
    The ugly do it
    Only the unlucky of us
    Get to do it
    Let’s fall in love

    I’d bet on the birds
    Cause they don’t have
    To walk around
With the boys and the girls
And a little bit of cat and mouse

Mommy did it, daddy did it
    Even though I bet
    They wish they really didn’t
Mary did it, Joey did it
Even little bitty baby Jesus did it

Yuppies do it, junkies do it
    The funny little monkeys
    In the zoo do it

  51. Good afternoon Roseland

Rose - great post. People shouldn't assume everything you post about is about RK you like many of us have more things that are important to you besides just them.

I know RK are fine and probably enjoying the under the radar time they are getting, for now. And I'm sure they have things planned out just the way they want them.
We just have to be patient :)

I hope everyone is having a great week so far. TAKE CARE EVERYBODY

  57. Snicker, ha, snicker, ha-ha ! Vodka with what? oh my go-sh. Well there really is something for everybody and I'll bet its good with Mexican and Italian food! DK you are a hoot-I am still giggling cause you sway that way! Believe me life is really the fast track so loving the music, R&K ,good wine and food and good company is most important. I can't drink a lot but I do love cranberry and lemon with good vodka(Russian or Brit. types) and the terrific California wines. Also, right here in Oklahoma, in the mountains, they have some great wines, in New York and Arkansas we have some more. I am glad to see a growing interest in the finer wines, and there are some Spanish and French wines that defy proper appreciation! My husband and I owned two clubs and sold them when he became ill, but my husband gave me a large and most sexy appreciation for liquors and beers. We were happy little drink makers and always fed the customers to avoid too much drinking. Everyone should enjoy life to the fullest as long as the spirit is willing! Ha!

It is only natural to wake up to thoughts of pleasure. I am in love with the mere idea of cliantro vodka for its taste. Super said there may also be another kind of pleasure resulting from other effects, too. Oh, la, la.

It's too early for me to tarry, so perhaps later we'll be merry!

Was watching a television show last night hosted by Nancy Sinatra. She said her father once told her that he could never straighten out the world and how people think (probably about him). He said people will make up what they want to believe anyway. I was very struck at how true that still is, and it will not likely change.
Yes, everybody who takes the time to read something someone wrote, will believe what they think they see and know about it. Love that no one owes anything to anyone, who is actually not in the know at all, or even if they are. The old "live and let prosper" motto in action.

I did try to make this comment knowable for all reading it. My mind is a mystery unto itself but my heart knows its place.

  66. Nicely said DK! I used to...and we're talking in the very recent past, worry about what people thought about me or said about me, and if I heard something negative, I got upset...but Taylor's relapse and FINGERS CROSSED....remission....has taught me a very valuable lesson in life. While I would like for everyone to think I'm wonderful, that's never going to happen so I have made peace with that fact. I am who I am..warts and all, and truthfully sometimes a persons sense of humor does not translate in writing very well, and things meant in jest sometimes sound like attacks or digs and it offends people and can hurt someone's feelings when that is most certainly not my intention, but it can come across that way....So I agree with Frank, in that not everyone is going to like me, and the lessons of this past year have taught me that, that's perfectly ok. Life is too short to spend worrying about things that no matter how hard I try I cannot change. Thanks for the Frank story, it made me smile.

I have often regarded you as a very sensitive soul, with a big heart. Vulnerable. Takes years to pick and choose, only what feels and is good for you. Glad you are doing so. Taylor inspires.

    "Buzz the Fuck Off!!!!"
You are ridiculous. You say stupid inane shit for a reaction. So now you are getting one.
Because you are a crack-head you think everyone is. You got that crack head twitch going on that has you so delusional you think you are doing something noble by trying to convert people to your crack head way of thinking. Why does it offend your ridiculous ass what is said and done on this blog? Is it that you are so jealous that people of like minds have found Rose's blog and truly enjoy it? You know they have blogs for you called "Crack Head Help for the Stupid and Delusional." Visit it. You need that help. Now everyone is tired of you and your petty little insults. In Crack head terms. "You clucked your way here with a "twitch twitch" tossed out some delusional insults with a "twitch twitch" banged on your keys with a "tick tick" and this is what you got. NOTHING!!! A fucking Crack Head Clucker with the fucking twitching Crack Head Tick comes on a sight of respectable bloggers and because they are all in harmony and agreement about the overall message of the blog. You can't seem to focus and understand why no one wants to be your buddy,be on your side and give you the kudos for what you say. You go after Rose in a very negative, stalker, psyco, need fucking crack head help kinda way, and have to try and tear her down. Well guess what? NO one follows a CRACK HEAD BUT OTHER CRACK HEADS!! SO "CLUCK CLUCK, TICK TICK, TWITCH TWITCH YOUR CLUCKING ASS ON BACK TO WHERE YOUR CRAWLED UP FROM. You are a pest like a nagging gnat and you are about to be swatted. So as I have said before to the crack heads in the jail who just spew stupid shit, "No Valaria (disease from the bowels of hell) Just No!! Sit there and cluck to your invisible, imaginary friends." Cause we don't give a shit. Cluck Cluck understand that?!!

  94. September 11th is always a day of remembrance and reflection. As a parent who has a son that is choosing to go into the US Army infantry, my greatest wish is for a peaceful co-existence in this world. The thought that some crazy fucker like Bin Laden could start an event that would send him into harm's way deeply scares me, but also makes me so very proud of his courage.

The term peaceful co-existence is not used nearly enough. It not only applies to world events, but also to things as simple as people who post vile things on the internet and those who seek to defend others by using hate-filled words. I do my best to teach my children that you beat bullies at their own game by being a bigger and better person. That their meanness is only a reflection of themselves, and that by trying to be mean back to them or hurt them, you are just lowering yourself to their awful standards. The world would be a better place if adults could learn these lessons that we try to teach our children. No buts.

With that said, I am so looking forward to seeing the great projects that Rob and Kristen have both been working on. I am in awe of their great decision making in choosing roles in such interesting films. And, where is that trailer for The Rover??? Happy day to all.

  102. Oh dear Super,
So very happy for you and your family. I imagine you as a most wonderful grandmama! Please give my best wishes for happiness to the new parents. Brave new world and grand new adventure with each new miracle of life. So glad everyone is doing well.

I have lovely students! Am very happy with these first few weeks. Looks like it will be an excellent year.

Please say hi to all the CP gang. I am getting impatient for Downton Abbey to begin. I was guilty this summer of watching Under the Dome. Guess I had hoped it would be another Lost. It has been OK. Only one more episode to go for this season. Thank goodness for the Big Bang Theory. At least I know that that is always a good half hour.

Believe it or not......I am reading Austen's Pride and Prejudice. I am embarrassed to confess that I had never read it before. Am enjoying it, however I am only about a fourth of the way through it.

Just saw Instructions Not Included at the cinema. It was entertaining and quite good for a Spanish/English combo film. (About 2/3 in Spanish and 1/3 in English. It does have English subtitles.) The previews do not do it justice. It is a cross cultural production mainly aimed at the growing Latino family movie going demografic. Lots of laughs but has an unexpected ending. Yes, I cried.

    Hugs for y'all, dear Roselanders.
I do peek in but do not make the time to comment as in the past.

Take care and be kind for that's what matters most.

Ok, heres the things this is what I explain to HKN about HL. And Rob being at the No Vacancy some bar. Here's what I think: I don't know about you and the rest of you guys. But HL needs to really focus is themselves. And they also needs to focus on what is going on in this world besides spreading lies and destroying celebs and getting into celebs personal lives. I am also sticking for Rob and Kristen too. As goes for other tabs too.
Ok, Here is the things. One about the No Vacancy and Rob. Not true because I was looking that the twitter. I even check to see. Found out it was fake. Meaning it was a troll/hater that made it. Second, Yes there are alot of awful things that have said about Kristen. You can say there are alot of haters on that comments. Another thing I am happy that Kristen got to donate something. I am proud of her of that.
Right now I am outside on my patio with a carport covered over my head while talking to you guys.
Another things I did on my twitter is I blocked all tabs included GC twitters. You can say I don't want junk in my twitter. It felt good.

  106. Here is another thing best way like other says on one of the Roselands here say to me and others best way is don't feed the troll. Best way is to walk away. Valeria is just like a bullies would do if you telling them off. They are giving you the power. What people like her should go to a nut house. She needs to go to another websites. Like Robessed site. That are haters and trolls. Haters and trolls are bullies. They either needs to be in prison or in a nut house. Sorry Rose.

  109. Hello everyone in Roseland, It has been a truly sad and quite a day of changes and hopeful talk. I can only say, for the sake of our children and grandchildren, I hope Russia and the US peacemakers do their jobs and truly control Syria and the chemical weapons, before he uses them again. This is what they were doing in Iraq- and everyone said they were in Syria. And they were. Rose I think you are amazing and I believe we can all learn to ignore those idiots that come to just insult and upset us, like a teenage child who wants attention. My first husband called that AGT(attention getting tactic) and if you tune them out by ignoring the entire entry-it's not at all upsetting and never respond for this is the reason this unwanted girl is coming back. I think these people are truly very sad but also find pleasure in taunting folks. Don't give her the time of day. She will go away without no response from a Roseland.

  111. The bells are ringing for us all

    Anthem

    Leonard Cohen:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ssZ32ahjGM

    The birds they sang
    At the break of day
    Start again
    I heard them say

    Don't dwell on what
    Has passed away
Or what is yet to be

    Ah the wars they will
    Be fought again
    The holy dove
    She will be caught again

    Bought and sold
    And bought again
    The dove is never
    Free

Ring the bells that still can ring
    Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in

    We asked for signs
    The signs were sent
    The birth betrayed
    The marriage spent

    Yeah the widowhood
    Of every government
    Signs for all to see

    I can't run no more
    With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
    Say their prayers out loud

    But they've summoned
    They've summoned up
    A thundercloud
    And they're going to hear
    From me

You can add up the parts
But you won't have the sum
You can strike up the march
    There is no drum

    Every heart
    Every heart to love
    Will come
    But like a refugee

Ring the bells that still can ring
    Forget your perfect offering
    There is a crack
    A crack in everything
That's how the light gets in

    Thank you/CaityDavid

    You've gotta have heart
All you really need is heart

    You'll never win
That's when the grin should start

    You've gotta have hope
    Mustn't sit around and mope

Miles 'n miles n' miles of heart
    Oh, it's fine
To be a genius of course
    But keep that old horse
    Before the cart
    First you've gotta have heart

A great slugger we haven't got
A great pitcher we haven't got
A great ball club we haven't got
    What've we got?
    We've got heart

    We've got hope
We don't sit around and mope
    Not a solitary sob
    Do we heave
    Mister, 'cause we've got hope
We're so happy that we're hummin'
    Hmm-hmm-hmm

That's the hearty thing to do
    Hoo-hoo-hoo
    'Cause we know our ship
    Will come in
    Hmm-hmm-hmm
    So it's ten years overdue
    Hoo-hoo-hoo
    We've got heart
    Miles 'n miles
    'n miles o' heart

    Oh, it's fine to be
    A genius of course
    But keep that old horse
    Before the cart

    So what the heck's
    The use of cryin'
    Why should we curse?
    We've gotta get better
    'cause we can't get worse

    And to add to it
    We've got heart
    We've got heart
All you really need is heart
    When the odds are sayin'
    You'll never win
That's when the grin should start

We're so happy that we're laughin'
    Ha ha ha
That's the hearty thing to do
    Hoo-hoo-hoo
    So we ain't been autographin'
    'Cept to sign an I.O.U.

Who minds those pop bottles flyin'
    The hisses and the boos
    The team has been consistent
    Yeah, we always lose
    But we're laughin' cause
    We've got heart

    Thank you/cybersnob1

Ok, here I have been thinking also. If tabs, gossip, and media sites wants to make story instead of getting into our couple personal lives and stop spreading lies. Here is a stories that they should be using. There alot of people/families in this world that are losing jobs and families losing their for it and kids are going hungry these days. They should focus on that. And since they are making off on selling lies they should donate that to hunger. Like the food banks that's going to need it. See I with one of them. Only part time. And I see alot of families getting help. And now food banks are asking alot help at the grocery stores to donate. Its sad these days. I look at them its sad.
Super- Thanks about agree with me about the troll. Well one of you taught us not to feed the troll. Thanks. And glad that you enjoy your grand baby.

  127. I don,t want anyone to take this the wrong way but I read the article in barzar magazine his interview with them and some of his answers are strang to me I read in between the lines and I got the feeling that he is trying to tell the fans that really behind him that he's sorry that he did twilight I,m having a hard time thinking that he really feels that way I listen to everything he says in his interviews so I pick up that he is giving David corner erg and dour all the credit for where he is in his career and if it wasn't,t for twilght he wouldn't,t have the problems that he is having and the part where he answer that he like French women to me that's an insult to kristen like never exist that's what I read from his interview I still love them both and all their movies sorry for how I read it

Another interview he had is where he said that he's not worried about anything and that he just brought a new house and he fixing it himself To me he is giving his true fans that he is living a single life. And kristen never were never their i can understand what the media, tabloids and the haters did he said that he's an adult now and if he really love her the way he said he did. I feel that he's a man now not a boy just be like senna and Tom take your woman by her hand and tell them all go to hell and say she is what you want, follow his heart and to he'll with everybody else

  130. I think that whatever you want to believe about any given situation is up to that person, and I am not going to berate anyone for reading an article and seeing something in it that others might not see, we all have or own perceptions.

What I do know is, that in 99.9% of all romantic relationships, there are only TWO people who know all the details of what happens in that relationship. The rest of us can speculate and wonder, but at the end of the day only the people who are involved have all the knowledge and facts at their disposal to make a call as to what happened or didn't happen in their relationship. Having been married 24 years, I know first hand how important it is to keep family, friends and complete strangers from sticking their noses into your relationship. Too many people giving their thoughts and opinions as to what should be happening between you and your significant other is a recipe for disaster.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Vern, I see Rose as a one-of-a-kind. She is abso-fucking-lutely awesome...but, I feel that you should just aspire to be yourself. There is never going to be another you...so, embrace yourself and be all that you can be.

  138. I think it's nice to reflect on a character who gave us something more to think about than what to cook for dinner. Bella Swan may not have been the perfect girl, but she did represent a sort of every (wo)man for a lot us; we saw an echo of the girl we once were through her eyes. So, on this note I would like to raise my glass (or cup of coffee as it is only 9:00 in the morning, and toast her.)

    "Happy Birthday, Bella!"

Hope everyone on this board has a beautiful weekend!

    ReplyDelete
  139. It is Bella's Birthday and I forgot. Thanks Frannie for reminding me. I agree Kristen/Bella is very special to all of us, young and old alike. Their is no one like her. She is brave, strong and is so real. True to herself at all times and what a naturally talented girl.

I loved the love story on screen and off. I wish the best for them and hope they will be forever.

  141. HELLO ROSELAND , let's all try to have a happy and relaxed weekend with our families and don't worry about Rob and Kristen, because they are probably just fine and not worried or upset about our little worlds- so if they do not want anyone to see them, they are surely not tipping any tweeters off or writing any tips to the wise in perfume ads so everyone knows their most recent activities. These are some of the most private people and they have to be,--so private transportation and private plans and very private personal lives are their only possible lifestyle at this particular time. Have a good weekend.

  145. For Lydia Callwood
I read the inteerview from Arabia, too and felt a little disappointed but after reading it the second time I think he was pulling the interviewer's leg about fixing up a house he just bought. The same about French women. The interviewere did comment on his dating Riley Keough and Katy Perry and we know that never happened. He is renting a house in BH. So some of the interview seemed skewed. the interviewer admitted she had never seen any of the Twilight movies. I am puzzled by your sentences: "he is living a single life and Kristen never were never their I can understand." Should there be some punctuation? Thanks.

I really understand about the injection--glad you are having relief. I worked for a doctor and physical therapist and believe me super is right about the warm soaks. The best thing is the pool and heat. Honestly I love my wrap-called a bed buddy-it is made for the leg and kneecap but could be used anywhere(about two foot lg.) I think during this dry period we need more songs DK !give me that old time rock and roll---!

Sue morris- Thanks. Actually, they just used that patch with the machine instead of the shot at the Physical therapy. But I can still feel it same as the shot. It felt funny when they did that that. He said it might feel the same. But he didn't tell it will knock me out. I might have to ask him if he can do on Wednesday instead of Thursday because I don't want to knock out when I volunteer at 1:30pm for my reading program.

  151. Super- Thanks. I really appreciated. Yeah I google that too. It is painful. I have been living with this for 4 years. Since I have started for my pre-diabetes diets and lossing weight. It only hurts, discomfort, and feels very only when I sit too long or laying on that side. So that physical therapy finally understood me. Its sort of feels like a balloon. So I have read it too. Its no wonder its been this way.

  152. I am a big fan of Frank Sinatra and Johnny Mathis. DK- September Song and They Tried to tell us we're too Young, also My Way. You just can't do better than Unforgettable by Nat King Cole. So many songs-so little time! I think anything by the Rolling Stones but then that's just me. 156. Just got home from a lovely day out. Went to see the Austenland movie (delightful) at the nearby town's arts theatre and stopped for pizza later.

While having lots of fun and meeting new people at the restaurant; I skipped 2 return home trains. No worries, right?

As I waited to cross over to the eastbound side of the tracks, a freight train blew its brakes right in front of me. I missed the last train! Thank you Mr. Taxi Man for driving me home.

Moral of the story; you never know what may arise, so carry enough cash. The cab's cc machine was out of order.

Take the last train to Clarksville
And I'll meet you at the station
You can be be there by four thirty
    'Cause I made your reservation
Don't be slow, oh, no, no, no!
    Oh, no, no, no!

'Cause I'm leavin' in the morning
And I must see you again
We'll have one more night together
'Til the morning brings my train
And I must go, oh, no, no, no!
    Oh, no, no, no!
    And I don't know
    If I'm ever coming home

Take the last train to Clarksville
I'll be waiting at the station
    We'll have time
    For coffee flavored kisses
    And a bit of conversation
    Oh... Oh, no, no, no!
    Oh, no, no, no!

Take the last train to Clarksville
Now I must hang up the phone
I can't hear you in this noisy
    Railroad station all alone
I'm feelin' low. Oh, no, no, no!
    Oh, no, no, no!
    And I don't
Know if I'm ever coming home

  158. This Chicago composer rode it all the way

    City of New Orleans

    Steve Goodman:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXGFKpWUOW0

Ridin' on the City of New Orleans
    Illinois Central
    Monday mornin' rail
    Fourteen cars and fourteen
    Restless riders
    Three conductors
    Twenty five sacks of mail

    All along the southbound odyssey
The train rolls out of Kankakee
    Ridin' past the houses
    Farms and fields
Passin' trains that have no names
    Freight yards full
    Of old black men
The graveyards of the rusted Automobiles

Good mornin' America, how are you?
    Say, don't you know me?
    I'm your native son
    I'm the train they call
    The City of New Orleans
I'll be gone five hundred miles
    'fore the day is done

Dealin' card games with the old men
    In the club car
    Penny a point
    Ain't no-one keepin' score
    Pass the paper bag
    That holds the bottle
    Feel the wheels a-rumblin'
    'neath the floor

And the sons of Pullman porters
    And the sons of engineers
    Ride their fathers' magic carpet
    Made of steel

    Mothers with their babes asleep
    Rockin' to the gentle beat
And the rhythm of the rails
    Is all they feel

Good day, America, how are you?
    Say, don't you know me?
    I'm your native son
    I'm the train they call
    The City of New Orleans
I'll be gone five hundred miles
    'fore the day is done

    Nighttime
On the City of New Orleans
    Changin' cars
    In Memphis, Tennessee
    Halfway home
    We'll be there 'fore mornin'
    Through the Mississippi darkness
    Rollin' down to the sea

And all the towns and people seem
To fade into a bad dream
    And the steel wheels
    Still ain't heard the news

    The conductor sings
    His songs again
    The passengers will please refrain
    This train's got
    The disappearin' railroad blues

Good day, America, how are you?
    Say, don't you know me?
    I'm your native son
    I'm the train they call
    The City of New Orleans
I'll be gone five hundred miles
    'fore the day is done

    So hes leaving the life
    He's come to know

He said hes going back to find
    (going back to find)
    Whats left of his world

    (hes going back to find)
    A simpler place and time
(and when he takes that ride)
    Yes he is
(guess whos gonna be right by his side)
    Ill be with him
    (I know you will)

On that midnight train to Georgia

Id rather live in his world
    (live in his world)
Than live without him in mine

    He kept dreaming
    (dreaming)
That one day hed be a star
(a superstar but he didnt get far)
But he sure found out the hard way
That dreams dont always come true
    (dreams dont always come true)
    Oh no
    (uh uh no uh uh)

So he sold all his hopes
And he even sold his own car
And bought a one way ticket back
To the life that he once knew
    Oh yes he did
    He said he would

    I know hes leaving

    (one world)
    (her man, his girl)
    Ive got to go
    (all aboard)
    Ive got to go
    (one world)
    Ive got to go
    (her man, his girl)
    Ive got to go
    (all aboard)
    Ive got to go
    (one world)
Ive got to go right now
    (her man, his girl)
    (all aboard)
    (one world)

  160. Trains and Boats and Planes

    Billy J Kramer & The Dakotas (1965):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XKZQrTtocU

    Trains and boats and planes
    Were passing by
    They mean a trip
    To Paris or Rome
    To someone else
    But not for me

    The trains and
    The boats and planes
    Took you away
    Away from me

    We were so in love
    And high above
    We had a star
    To wish upon wish

    When dreams came true
    But not for me
The trains and the boats and planes
Took you away, away from me

    Trains and boats and planes
    Took you away
But every time I see them, I pray
And if my prayer can cross the sea

The trains and the boats and planes
    Will bring you back
    Back home to me
    Mmm mmm mmm mmm
    Mmm mmm mmm mmm

    Thank you/Heftyneal

  161. They do it all the time

    Too Young

    Donna Hightower (1959):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_bWFApIohU

    They try to tell us
    We're too young
    Too young
    To really be in love

They say that love's a word
    A word we've only heard
    But can't begin to know
    The meaning of

And yet we're not too young
    To know
    This love will last
    Though years may go

    And then someday
    They may recall
    We were not
    Too young at all

    And yet we're not
    Too young to know
    This love will last
    Though years may go

    And then
    Someday
    They may recall
    We were not too young
    At all

    Thank you/Antônio Bocaiúva

  164. It seems to me that a whole lot of fuss has been made about Rob's latest interviews. For the life of me I do not understand what it is that has people flailing their arms and getting themselves in a tizzy. Rob hasn't discussed his relationship with any of the interviewers and all comments about the scandal; break-up and his single status have been editorialized, and not quoted.

If Rob wanted to have everyone believe he is truly single he could respond to that question without any reference to his relationship with Stewart. But he never really does. He merely allows the questions to drift until the interviewer finally fills in the blanks with his or her own responses. These are based purely on rumors, gossip and speculation.

    Have a great Sunday!

  168. @vernistene - While I appreciate the kind words about my blog...
I would appreciate if you wouldn't use my blog to advertise yours.
And maybe you might want to write your own 'disclaimer'... instead of using mine.
    Originality goes a long way.

    Good luck with your blog.

Thank you for your common sense re the Rob interviews lately. If you want to see something that is really great (in my opinion) google Robsten Future - Newmans and Rob and Kristen. The video is about 8 minutes and Cat Stevens sings Fathers and Sons on it.

  170. @ Virginia

Thank you for the link. I'd seen this before and loved it, so I was very happy to re-visit it again!

Weirdly enough, as a child I used to have recurring dreams in which Joanne and Paul were my friends. I have no idea why. I used to tell my mother about them and she would laugh and call them my "dream buddies." Their romance does seem to bear a strong resemblance to Rob and Kristen's. This makes sense that I would be attracted to them as a couple I guess. I never had a celebrity couple strike that kind of chord within me.

    Thank you for sharing!

I just got home from church, running errands, and fixing my twitter account. I just put lock on my account to prevent from haters, trolls, nonnies, nonberts, and all other idiots. Because I don't like junk. To me haters, trolls, nonnies, nonberts, and all the idiots are junk. Included papz, tabs, and all the gossip trashy site. I can't stand them. So did I miss anything?

  174. DK--thanks for Too Young. Does anyone remember "The Look Of Love?" It might be too old for some of you but it comes to mind every time I see Rob and Kristen looking at each other-Kristen really is shy and their eyes are so amazing. Did you know there are some groups of people that will not permit photos of themselves because they believe you have captured their souls in the pictures? I think there is nothing new about wanting complete privacy when it comes to your personal life and Paul and Jo Ann moved away to have such a life. They wanted a family and a life- and found their own way. I think Rob and Kristen will do this in their own way. We are all very different and yet--in many ways-just the same. Out of sight--out of mind is a rather old ploy, but it works and we all need some quiet for reflection and affection, without attention from the public. Peace be with you.

But I am going to rest right now. Keep me posted about our couple. I believe in you guys. Night everyone.

  178. An excert from Rob's Dior interview for Lefigaro Madamme: Dangers of star system, Robert Pattinson not know anything. He who, overnight, has been an insane cult and is never left home without being mobbed by groupies dangerous . Him, whose every move is strafed by an army of paparazzi who stalk relentlessly. He, whose breakup with Kristen Stewart was described by the menu in a tabloid.
In an era that glorifies visibility and exhibitionists tweets Robert Pattinson tries to lock methodically regarding his private life.

A line of conduct. A matter of survival rather . “It’s violent, it’s weird … I have long wanted to maintain a normal life, one before Twilight . I finally realized that it was useless to struggle. It is no longer possible, that’s all. I think I would have liked to live success at the time when the Internet and Twitter did not exist. Today, anyone can take pictures anywhere and anytime, and make you say everything and its opposite by hiding behind anonymity.”

    another part.......

Did you get used to fame as well?
I had to. Until a while ago, I stubbornly tried to live the same life as before. It went poorly: I couldn’t go anywhere without being assaulted by a giant amount of fans, so I went nowhere. I was living in a bubble. Then something clicked, and I said to myself: “You have to accept that everything is different now”. And I felt relieved, almost immediately. Acceptation is the prerequisite for happiness, or anyway that’s what I like to think.

    Are you happy?
I accepted, many things. And now I almost feel weird admitting it – because if you say it, then the moment may vanish quickly. But yes, I am happy now.
    Just saying......

  179. Happy Monday Roseland,

Hope everyone had a good weekend!
It's turning into fall weather here and I LOVE it. Not much new this weekend and that's GOOD. I like to think that means R and K are leading the life they want. lol but what do I know on that subject.

well I had a few minutes so I thought I would say Hello to everyone.
Hope everyone has a great rest of their day
