Love is LONG

Couple of thoughts...

1. Want to know something kinda amusing?
If I ever want to catch up on all the latest
news on Kristen Stewart...
I go to a 'hater' site first.
That's right.
Because the people
who claim not to want anything to do with Kristen...
are always the first people to get the news/pics
about her.
They can't get enough of her.
They analyze every word she says.
They dissect every picture.
Every move she makes.
Every breath she takes.

They have been doing this since she's been
connected to Robert.
5 -1/2 years.
And even though they believe
that "Robsten" is over...
Do you think it has stopped?
Oh no no no.
No.
They obsess more than ever!

Why do you think that is?
They have supposedly 'won'... right?
Shouldn't they be basking in all the Rob glory?
Exploding ovaries and all?
Why can't they seem to let Kristen go?
They spend 75% of their time obsessing over Kristen
over the measly 25% they spend talking about Rob.
Hmmm.
Makes you wonder why they are really here...
Doesn't it?
Kinda like those shit accounts whose
sole purpose is trashing Kristen.
They don't even talk about Rob at all... Ever.
Yet all the Ninnie Robsessed follow them faithfully
and encourage their vile behavior.
Hmmm.
Makes you wonder why they are really here.
Doesn't it?

2. Ok.
So the other night I was sitting with my laptop
on my... lap.
I had the TV on
but I wasn't really paying attention
You know how that goes...right?
So here I am.
Sitting here all reading whatever it was
that I was reading
(not that it fucking matters)
And i hear a familiar song come on the TV...
Led Zeppelin.
I look up.
I see Robert running across a roof...
And I'm gone.
My initial reaction was
WOW.
And then...
FUCKING WOW.
The music.
The man.
It all fucking works.
It was...
Intoxicating.

No matter how many times I watched the commercial
on my computer...
I was completely blown away seeing it on my TV
for the first time.

Good job, Dior.

3. Kristen is on the cover of Marie Claire.
(yeah...kinda obvious at this point)
She looks
...
PHENOMENAL.
GORGEOUS.
BEAUTIFUL.
Every word you can think of to describe her beauty...
Just add that in.

She also gave an interview which seems
to have put some people up in arms.
NO WAY!

Kristen talks about a lot of things
in this interview.
But never once does she mention Rob by name.
Of course...
During the course of reading this interview
(which to be honest I thought was pretty good)
The writer interjects Rob's name...
Of course they do!
What's an article about one
without mentioning the other?
Peanut butter and jelly.
Sonny and Cher.
Bert and Ernie.
Lennon and McCartney.
Rob and Kristen.

They just GO together.
You know what I mean?
You can't seem to bring up one
without thinking about the other.

But I digress.

Kristen said:

"I stand by every mistake I've ever made, so judge away."

This is the one most people are fixated on.
Somehow people seem to believe that she doesn't give a fuck
about the mistakes...
I don't see that at all.
She owns up to her mistakes.
She apologized immediately.
Publicly.
(and don't forget... declaring her love for Rob)
About a very private matter.
She didn't have to do that.
Do you think that was easy for her?
She didn't owe the public a god damn thing.
she still doesn't.
People seem to think she hasn't PAID enough.
Like she fucking owes them something
for what happens in her life.
And those same people still think she deserves to be stoned
or burned at the stake.
She owns her mistakes.
How can you not stand by them?
She doesn't say she has no regrets.
She doesn't say that they haven't hurt her or other people.
But she is saying...
It's her fucking life.
JUDGE AWAY.
Because you think you know.
But you have NO idea.
As always.

4. Green Fucking Sheep.

Forever.

This post is brought to you by the truth.

You can twist and manipulate and bend
Rob and Kristen's words...
any way you want
Still doesn't make it true.
Still doesn't change a thing.

truth is fucking truth.

And this post it brought to you by ...
Giraffes.
A few months ago someone I know
told me about a person they worked with
who went on 'safari' in Africa
and went out and killed a giraffe.
(among many other beautiful harmless animals)
I mean...
WHO FUCKING GOES OUT AND SHOOTS A GIRAFFE??
WHO DOES THAT?
I was so upset by this.
I can't even begin to tell you.
Someone shooting something
for its hide.
Yes.
So they could take back its hide and put it under a table
or on a wall.
And now...
I see the story about the young male giraffe
that was brutally killed in some sort of
disgusting display
Why?
Because it was the easy way out.
Who really wants to find a solution that lets
this beautiful animal LIVE?
So I'm completely disgusted.
And sad.
And god...
So fucking sad.

People hurt other living things...
because they can.
They think its acceptable.
That it's OK.

Is that what you do?
Think about it.

Until next time.

Bye for now
Love is LONG.

  1. This post was well done. I think those who say they are haters are really closet R/K lovers but don't want others to know. lol Loved the post.

  2. As usual you have nailed it. "Fans" should relish in the good and amazing things these 2 are doing. They have accomplished so much already. It can't be easy having every little thing you do or say be analyzed and scrutinized to death. I miss seeing them, but am happy that they are living their own lives as best suits them. We should all wish that for them.

  4. I thought we might get a new post. You never disappoint,Rose.

I thought it was a very good interview. Although Kristen acknowledges that she is young and still finding her way,she is far more in tune than I was at 23. She knows what her passions are and what drives her. She knows she doesn't have all the answers.
For a young woman who attempts to live on the down low regardless of her chosen profession, I don't think I have ever seen someone so "judged" and often not kindly. She could have fallen apart over the last few years but this young woman shows strength. I completely understand the "judge away" comment. She doesn't owe anyone a thing...it is her's and her's alone.

Still looking forward to all the films ahead for Rob and Kristen. It is going to be a good year.

And yes, people can be incredibly thoughtless and cruel. What a way to live your life!

  5. ROSE

You nailed it...People hurt and kill because they can, and they want to...

Why? Because of every seedy vice that there is in this life...jealousy, greed, hatred, ego....

I believe this is unfortunately the vile and disgusting things that many humans spiral down into when their basic needs have been met...food, water, shelter....

If they were fighting for their life, had a gun pointed at their miserable head, if they were starving , if they had just lost their job or their child had just died of cancer, if they had just found out they had a brain tumor and were going to die in 3 months.....fucking IF

The truth is these are people with full bellies, with jobs, people that have something to be fucking thankful for and this is how they choose to leave their mark upon the world.

To kill, to bully someone....maybe it's a celebrity because they are too fucking much of a coward to say it to someone's face ...or maybe they display their middle school mean girl mentality in the work place and make their coworkers miserable...people that have health problems , a husband that's addicted to drugs, a teenage child who has disappeared....financial worries, the list goes on and on and on...they hurt people with no regard to what else may be happening in this persons life. THEY DON'T CARE

Long story short, they are all fucking bullies who don't appreciate having a safe place to lay their head at night or a free country that allows them to come and go as they please.

Kristen is everything they re NOT, Beautiful, talented, , and she fucking takes responsibility for her mistakes where the bully shirks responsibility and blames everything they do wrong on someone else....oh, I forget, they don't think they are doing anything wrong...at all:(

Ok, thanks for letting me get it all out !!!! Back on the broomstick and away I go....for now....:)

  6. Great post, Rose...gorgeous pictures of all of them, too. :)

I am so sick of the butt-hurt haters that think they should have some sort of control in her life. Seriously effed up. I thought the article was good, too and K seemed comfortable being herself.

I haven't caught Dior Rob on TV yet...hope to!

Take care, be safe and be happy Rose, Roseland and lurkers! <3

  7. I thought the haters would be all over the part about the alleged break up: "When it comes to her relationship with ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson, which ended last year, Kristen reveals that she spent most of her time after the breakup taking long road trips with friends and ruminating on her life, saying, 'You don't know who you will fall in love with. You just don't.'" Not sure she really said any of that or perhaps it was taken out of context.

  9. Again, sanity over stupidity! Thanks, Rose! Please keep hitting the idiots over the head with sane, truthful, blogs! As far as the animals...someone should close that fucking zoo down, it had to do with inbreeding...get rid of his sperm, not the animal!!! And seriously, people are still allowed to go safari???? What the fuck????? This is why I like animals more than most people!

But I must say I am selfish....I want a a pic of R/K together....but am happy for them.....and you and your blog!

  10. Modern-Day Beatitudes

Blessed are the strange, the weird, the people we laugh at, those who do not fit our mold, especially the socially wretched and despised. By their presence in our lives, their mission is to expand our reality — on our part, reluctantly and on theirs, so painfully — by forcing us to look at them in the hope that we see God in them.

Blessed are the depressed and the addicted for they are called upon to demonstrate the healing miracles of God through their own awakening and liberation.

Blessed are the broken, those who fail, those who fall below our expectations for they are asked to show the rest of us that not being perfect is part of the human condition — that accepting our imperfection is the first step in our realization of the divine perfection of all that is, as is.

Blessed are the nameless, the faceless the dispossessed — the refugees, the homeless and the poor, for they point us to the way to compassion. By their sheer numbers, they tell us that, ultimately, the experience of compassion is inescapable.

Blessed are the cruel, the calloused and uncaring, for on some deep unconscious level, they choose to delay their own liberation so that others, strangely enough, may be “enlightened” by their example.

Blessed are those who constantly arouse us to anger, who bring out the worst in us, for they force us out of the denial that we harbor within — that we are hooked on them, that they resonate with something hidden inside us, and to break free, we must let go of our misguided moral superiority.

Blessed are those who cause us to suffer repeatedly by their mistakes, for they are our tutors who spend valuable time so that, in their failures, we may learn our lessons well.

Blessed are those who do not seem to have a life, and especially those who do not have a choice — those who are physically debilitated, paralyzed or in a coma and cannot move, for they bring us a message that is lost in this age of frenzy — that to be worthy of God’s love, we need not strive to do or achieve anything, but simply be.

Blessed are all of us, for whatever condition we find ourselves in, we can choose to remember our true nature, our original blessing, our timeless grace — anytime, any place, and always — and be happy in our Oneness.

  11. Forever and a Day Always

    Jewel:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdExpPOwWIU

The other day you asked me to
Tell you how much I love you
Oh, but words so often fail
To describe the depth and scale
    And even though
    It may sound cliche

I'll tell you now in my simple way
My love is as true as the oceans are blue
And I'll always feel this way

Just listen to the beating that keeps repeating
    My heart wants to say
    Like Gala and Dali
    It's you and me
    Forever and a day
    Forever and a day
    Always

You watch me turn out the light
Wrap my arms around you, say goodnight
Trace our shadows on the wall
Thank God for the miracle of it all

My love is true as the oceans are blue
And Ill always feel this way
Just listen to the beating that keeps repeating
    My heart wants to say

    Like Gala and Dali
    It's you and me
    Forever and a day
    Forever and a day
    Always

    The road of life winds
    With the passing of time
    I can hear you say
    How can hearts know
    Where love will go
    Beyond today

Just listen to the beating that keeps repeating
    My heart wants to say
    Like Gala and Dali

    It's you and me
    Forever and a day
    Forever and a day
    Always

    June she'll change her tune
    In restless walks

C'mon take me to the Mardi Gras
Where the people sing and play
    Where the dancing is elite
And there's music in the street
    Both night and day

Hurry take me to the Mardi Gras
In the city of my dreams
    You can legalize your laws
You can wear your summer clothes
    In the New Orleans

And I will lay my burden down
Rest my head upon that shore
And when I wear that starry crown
    I won't be wanting anymore

    Take your burdens
    To the Mardi Gras
Let the music wash your soul

You can mingle in the street
You can jingle to the beat
    Of Jelly Roll

    The first time
    Ever I saw your face
    I thought the sun
    Rose in your eyes

And the moon and the stars
    Were the gifts you gave
    To the dark
    And the endless
    Skies

    The first time ever
    I kissed your mouth
    I felt the earth
    Move in my hand

    Like the trembling heart
    Of a captive bird
    That was there
    At my command my love

    The first time ever
    I lay with you
    And felt your heart
    So close to mine

    And I knew our joy
    It would fill the earth
And last 'til the end of time
    My love

    The first time
    Ever I saw
    Your face

As for the tragic giraffe incident at the Copenhagen Zoo, I was shocked when I read about it last week. I lived in Copenhagen for several years and visited that zoo often, mainly to see the gardens because caged animals, no matter how well they are cared for, always send out weird vibes.

Anyway, what freaked me out were the photos where you could see young Danish children watching the shooting, the disection, and then the feeding of the giraffe to the lions!

It was like something out of a Gothic horror story.

Queston about Rob's roles in all of these movies. He was two weeks shootin Maps to the Stars. He was in Morocca Jan 25 FOR Queen of the Desert according to a photo and then by Feb. 10 he's in Toronto shooting Life with Dane Dehaan. Why such short shoots?

Why are they wasting their time hating someone they don't even know? I don't get it.

I also think the interview was pretty good. Kristen was very brave to share her poem. I would never be brave enough to do that--I'm way too shy.

  55. I hardly ever comment, but I am no stranger here.

I am still not going to comment on Rob or Kristen. I am going to comment on the giraffe story.

I live in South Africa. Hunting wild animals, especially those part of the big 5 has its good purpose. Hard add it is to understand initially. All our instincts shout aww poor animal. However the fact remains that it takes s lot of money to look after those animals. You have vet expenses. Pay the game rangers. Feed in dry season. Fences that constantly needs repairing amd loads more running expenses.

People., especially tourists pay high amounts to hunt these animals. Those funds are used to ensure that a 100 other giraffes are cared for. The game farmers are also very picky about which animal gets hunted. They normally select older males that no longer breeds. This is all to promote the species. Hard as it is to understand and overwrite the natural reaction to say it's bad. .. It's a good thing. It's also very well controlled.

Just my 2 cents worth on a topic I know loads about.

Great blog and enjoy the weekend ahead.

    Sarah McLachlan (Skip Ad):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rxoTDrZ6Gk

When we wore a heart of stone
    We wandered to the sea
Hoping to find some comfort there
    Yearning to feel free

    And we were mesmerized
By the lull of the night
    And the smells
    That filled the air

    And we laid us down
    On sandy ground
    It was cold
    But we didn't care

Yes, we were drawn to the rhythm
Drawn into the rhythm of the sea
And we were drawn to the rhythm
Drawn into the rhythm of the sea

We fell asleep and began to dream
    When something broke the night
    Memories stirred inside of us
    The struggle and the fight

And we could feel the heat
Of a thousand voices telling us
    Which way to go
    And we cried out
Is there no escape from the words
    That plague us so

In the still and silent dawn
    Another day is born
Washed up by the tireless waves
    The body bent and torn

When you wake in the face
    Of the blinding sun
And you search only to find
That heaven is a stranger place
    Than what you've left behind

And we were drawn to the rhythm
Drawn into the rhythm of the sea
Yes we are drawn to the rhythm
Drawn into the rhythm of the sea

    The Thrill Of It All

    Roxy Music:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJdf_RJ89iA

    The sky is dark
    The wind is cold
    The night is young
    Before it´s old and grey

    We will know
    The thrill of it all
    The time has come
    It´s getting late
    It´s now or never
    Don´t hesitate or stall

    When I call
    Don´t spoil
    The thrill of it all
    And before you go to
    sleep at night
    Preying shadows - do
    they ask you why?

    And in the morning
    through the afternoon
    Do you wonder where
    you´re going to?
    Every word I use
    Each crumpled page
    Strange ideas
    Mature with age

    Like leaves
    When autumn falls
    Turn gold
    Then they hit the ground
    Every time I hear
    The latest sound
    It´s pure whiskey

    Reeling round and around
    My brain
Oh and all o´ that jive
    It´s driving me wild -
    The dizzy spin I´m in

    Everywhere I look
    I see your face
    I hear your name
    It´s all over the place
    Hey girl
    Though you´ve gone
    Still I recall
    The thrill of it all

    You might as well know
    what is right for you
    And make the most of
    what you like to do
    For all the pleasure
    That´s surrounding you
    Should compensate for all you´re
    Going through

    So if you´re feeling fraught
    With mental strain
    Too much
Thinking and acute got you down
    again
    Well let your senses skip
    Stay hip
    Keep cool
To the thrill of it all

    When you try too much
    You lose control
    Pressure rises
    And so I´m told
    Something's got the give
    Oy Veh
    High life ecstasy

    You might as well live
    I can´t see
    I can´t speak
    I couldn't take more
    than another week
    Without you - oh no
So I will drink my fill
    Till the thrill is you

Oh the thrill of it all
Oh the thrill of it all
    No I won´t forget
    The thrill of it all
No no no no no no no

    For Once In My Life

    Dara MacLean:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FApu12-BJNk

For once in my life I have someone who needs me
    Someone I've needed so long
For once, unafraid, I can go where life leads me
And somehow I know I'll be strong

For once I can touch what my heart used to dream of
    Long before I knew
    Someone warm like you
Would make my dreams come true

For once in my life I won't let sorrow hurt me
Not like it's hurt me before
For once, I have something I know won't desert me
    I'm not alone anymore

For once, I can say, this is mine, you can't take it
As long as I know I have love, I can make it
For once in my life, I have someone who needs me

    Whose garden was this?
    It must have been lovely
    Did it have flowers?
    I've seen pictures of flowers
And I'd love to have smelled one

    Whose river was this?
    You say it ran freely
    Blue was it's color
I've seen blue in some pictures
And I'd love to have been there

    Whose gray sky was this?
Or was it a blue one?
    You say there were breezes
    I've heard records of breezes
And I'd love to have felt one

Tell me again I need to know
    The forest had trees
    The meadows were green
The oceans were blue and birds
    Really flew
Can you swear that it's true?

    Whose garden was this?
    It must have been lovely
    Did it have flowers?
    I've seen pictures of flowers
and I'd love to have smelled one

Why do stars fall down from the sky
    Every time you walk by
Just like me, they long to be
    Close to you

    The angels got together
And decided to create a dream come true
    So they sprinkled moon dust
    In your hair of gold
And starlight in your eyes of blue

'Souris Kris !' 'Hé, tu l'as eue là ?'

On survit. Avec un peu de chance, on ne perd pas sa capacité à lancer ses bras en l'air et à s'abandonner. C'est l'ultime 'je vous emmerde' et finalement, le plus beau de tous les outils de survie. Ne les laisse pas te prendre ça."

  81. WHY there is so much hate for Kristen and Robert STILL? (see below – and above, soon enough) I have all the gory details of exactly HOW Stephenie Meyer’s amateur writing accidentally caused so many of her fans AND anti-fans to become so sick in the head – while the tabloids make sure they STAY that way.
After a year and a half of seeing Kristen and Robert being SENSELESSLY ripped to shreds at the expense of their heartbroken YOUNG and young-at-heart fans; I’m not going away after this past New Year’s Eve hoax and continuing hate.
Whether Kristen or Robert are together or not is unimportant. What MATTERS is that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are the MOST exploited celebrities in Hollywood for the most extended period of time – because their YOUNG (and young-at-heart) fans are STILL the most profitable. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with Freedom of Speech.
Kristen didn’t get caught ‘cheating’; she got caught fending off her predatory boss – which is a really good reason to reunite with someone so soon afterwards. Rob & Kris started the ‘rumors’ THEMSELVES in May about them ‘taking a break for now’ because they either need a break from the papz & tabloids (which obviously isn’t working) OR they really need a break from their relationship. There is NO WAY to tell at this point.
SEARCH explaintwilightbreakingdawnending on blogspot for the truth about robsten and the ‘cheating’ scandal; and sign the petition for Hollywood to reform its own Industry of Celebrity Mistreatment or brainstorm to figure out something else that WILL WORK.

I keep this posted for new people coming through here who may be looking for an explanation about why so many of you are so mean & obsessed after all this time.
If Hollywood Life (and tabloids in general) article comments were a playground – we wouldn’t get away with acting like this. What is the message here?
When you are a child, adults teach you how to behave and you learn about things like Freedom of Speech and what that means. BUT, when you get old eno

  82. In reading the comments from the beginning, talking of bringing pain and death to the innocent, the giraffe, the gentle love of two young actors, one can only echo what has been said by Kay and Birdie. Why must evil be part of life? Giraffes are so rare, why could anyone destroy such a creature? Rob and Kristen are so beautiful, why hurt them they have done nothing, absolutely nothing but create movies that many love. Evil comes in many forms of negativity, as mentioned, jealousy, hatred, and the desire to kill for no reason at all. This day I can only believe that despite the insane wrong done that there are many who really care about two delightful real people who just carry on and do what they do, to live full lives. I will not ever get over the helpless giraffe, sorry, that is not something easily forgotten. I am proud of Kristen and Rob, they are strong and rather fierce in their own way. Have a good weekend Roseland. DK, your music for Valentines was super!

    Once in every life
    Someone comes along
    And you came to me
It was almost like a song

    You were in my arms
    Right where you belong
And we were so in love
It was almost like a song

    January through December
We had such a perfect year
Then the flame became a dying ember
All at once you weren't here

    Now my broken heart

    Stars That Speak

    Willy Deville:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8rEwLWTr34

    There's a park somewhere
maybe in new york maybe in paris
    maybe in barcelona
    early in the morning
    there is the artist
    the creator
    with a small black beret
    a cane
    and a small back dog
in the twilight of his life
    sees his work
    and he feels

there stands the woman of his dreams
    his love made in stone
    time is so short now
    she has her arms outstretched
    opened
looking at the stars all through the day
    and longing for the night
    she feels

she looks up at the stars
    and prays
    would do anything
    to be a real woman
    of flesh of love
and of that life i long for so
so the stars give her the night
    warning her do not touch
    or they will die

    the next morning
    walking his dog
with a cane in his hand
    the artist, he looks up
    sees a woman entwined
with what looks like a man
    wrapped there together

he said my creation, my creation
    that's a woman and that's a man
    that's a woman and that's a man
    my creation
    that's a woman
    and that's a man

    Good heavens!

    Viens me retrouver
    Viens me retrouver

    Viens me retrouver
    Viens me retrouver

  97. Dozing in my chair watching Jimmy Kimmel when Rob's Dior ad came on. Just about fell out of my chair I got so excited watching him in black and white on my big tv. I will have to say that the man has charisma, tons of it.

Je me suis dit quelle infortune
Et la lune s’est moquée de moi

    J’ai demandé à la lune
Si tu voulais encore de moi
    Elle m’a dit "j’ai pas l’habitude
De m’occuper des cas comme ça"
    Et toi et moi
    On était tellement sûr

    On était tellement sûr
Et on se disait quelques fois
    Que c’était juste une aventure
Et que ça ne durerait pas

  101. Snowing! Wonder if I'll get out to Florida even next month? The unknown is just that. Wherever anyone is, that's what they know.

    Good day to you!

  104. Nashville's warm and friendly (was 70+ today-good weather for making a video), I know.
Spent one night there (1987!) at a famous hotel with a guitar shaped swimming pool, and a little something extra in bed with me, that had me scratching all night long.
