what I have observed this week in the fandom...
1.Fucking BRILLIANT American Ultra Trailer.
Seriously?
How fucking AWESOME was this trailer??
I adore Jesse Eisenberg
and I Love LOve LOVe LOVE
that he and Kristen were together in this movie.
Wonderful Chemistry.
And Kristen?
Badass.
Gorgeous.
This trailer did exactly what it was meant to do...
Made me crazy anxious to see this movie.
You gotta admit
Kristen's career is on FIRE
The girl is working her ass off
and it's paying off
BIG TIME.
This is what being a fan is all about...
Getting to watch someone you adore
on the big screen
fucking slaying everyone.
2. The Baby Brigade
And their ongoing convoluted conspiracy theories
and irrational excuses trying to explain why
Rob and Kristen
Haven't been seen together in 2 years.
(And with other people)
And how in the world Kristen and Rob managed to be married
And not only have 1 baby
Completely unbeknownst to the entire world...
(And completely invisible for over a year)
But also managing to be like 15 months pregnant with #2.
Not sure how 2 of the most papped celebrities have fooled everyone
For so long
Except of course... Those who have insider cousins
And wear tin foil hats...
And will believe anyone as long as it's what you
want to hear.

ReplyDeleteRose, I know you are always very excited with all the Kristen things you write about her and then you say Rob wore a red nose which was cute. It was more than that. He gave his time in a skit with the other British actors which helped to raise 21 million dollars in the US bringing the UK and US total for that charity to over $78 million and he starts filming Brimstone 6/15. You may not be very excited for him but us Rob fans are quite excited to see him on set again and appreciate the way he give his time to different charities.

ReplyDeleteSo first, this blog was all about Rob, then it became a Rob and Kristen fan blog (a Robsten blog). These days (weeks and maybe months), it is all about Kristen and her career, Kristen and her gorgeousness, Kristen and her haters, Kristen and her hair... Like all the Robsten sites, this site seems to have lose interest in Rob since the break-up. And this only confirm that Robsten fan are foremost Kristen's fan. They love Rob more when he is paired up with Kristen.
ReplyDeleteRob's career is quiet lately. With Brimstone in June, maybe he will be more relevant to Robsten fans.
And it does not bother me that the Robsten's bloggers write less about Rob, it was just statement. If I want to read about Rob, I go to Robsessed or RPL.
PS : I am not a Kristen's hater, I liked her 3 years ago. Now, I am just indifferent.
Tania, I agree with you. I started with this blog years ago when it was just Rob but now, it's all about Kristen and if anything about Rob, it is made light of. So, it's better for me to go to Robsessed or Rplife or Robert Pattinson Worldwide, which used to be Spunk Ransome for these blogs are Rob only. It's actually good to have these blogs you can go to when you are just a fan of that person. I miss the good old days on RPI, but people change and you have to either change with them or move on.

I've never been a NEWS blog and I've always said if you want to keep up with what's going on with Rob that RPLife is the blog to go to. This blog started out about Rob... Yes... I know the relationship of an actor shouldn't be my business, but to be honest Rob and Kristens relationship was part of my fascination. It's so unique to see a "Hollywood"-couple without the sterotype behaviour. I'd never become tired of listening to them - especially when they provided a small insight into their privat life.

ReplyDeleteRose... since being a part of this crazy fandom I have tried not to ridicule other people for what they believe in, and I don't want to start now. It is their right to believe what they will, and it's really none of my business anyway. But the bloggers that are perpetuating the marriage/baby scenario have gone too far, IMO. One imaginary baby was enough, and now we have two, with talk of R/K wanting a third...a boy of course. 2012 did plenty to divide the fandom and these blogs have just made it worse. Once again, just MHO. It's a shame, but all you can do is shake your head. I have to agree with the last few lines of Super's poem. Wishing something was true does not make it so.

Rob...Truthfully, I'm not sure what Rob's up to. Brimstone sounds good but I've not heard when Rob's part comes into play, now in Canada or this fall in Europe.
As the people were fond of saying in The Lord of the Rings, "The world has moved on" since Twilight, and Rob and Kristen's days in the public eye.

What to say about Rob and Kristen...Simply that the idea of Rob and Kristen as a couple makes me happier than the proven fact of any other couple in Hollywood. This will remain true for me until they are married to other people.

ReplyDeleteOn a different subject: Due to my late start in the RK fan club I had never seen the photos of Kristen and Nikki that Rose used on this post. This is I am assuming taken during the first Twilight film. So that was interesting. Taylor has changed so much since then. They all have. Anna Kendrick who played Jessica seems the least changed.
