Day 22- Edward Loves KStew... Too ;)

32 seconds.
Close your eyes and its gone.
32 fucking seconds.
Multiply that by... a thousand.
Or so.
And that's how many times I watched
the motherbitching NM TV spot.
I couldn't take my eyes off of Robward.
As usual.
But shit...
The emotion that boy shows with just his face.
He makes me feel his pain.
(as if looking at him wasn't painful enough)

One of the reasons I never had a problem
with the Jacob Black character...
is what he brings out in Edward.
Jealousy. Possessiveness.
Color me weird...
But I find that fucking hot.
And the part in the clip...
Where Edward pushes Jake...
The look in his eyes...
Fuck. Me. Dead.
Really. Right now.

The only problem I have with the clip?
(besides being 2 hours too short...)
Is if Edward pushed Jake
(which wasn't in NM... but who cares)
And Jake turned into a wolf?
There's NO way Edward would be standing behind Bella.
Um... No.
He would be in front of her.
Protecting her.
Taking care of her.

*sigh*

I'm thinking that Edward would love Kristen, too.
Intelligence.
Beauty.
Independent.
Non-conforming.

I think the fact that Kristen and Rob
both don't give a fuck
how they look on any given day...
is definitely a major plus.
They seem to dress for comfort...
For themselves.
A kind of
"What you see is what you get"

Looking For Twilight

I was 'out of town' this past weekend...

Husband does that to me now and again.

Maybe its to get me away from Vampires...

I'm not sure.

But anyway.

Our place is located in the "North Woods".

Which basically means its in Northern Wisconsin.

But driving up there (it takes about 4 hours)

I noticed how much it looks like Forks does

in the Twilight movie.

We were smack dab

(Really? smack dab? When did I turn into my grandmother?)

in the middle of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.

I kept expecting to see Edward running around

with Bella glued to his back...

Looking really cheesy and lame...

But alas... No.

The North Woods has 9 Indian Tribes

(and they have casinos... woohoo!)

So my chances of seeing a Jacob Black would

have been far greater.

If I ever had the need to look for Jacob...

Which I don't see happening anytime soon.

I decided to go out in search of Twilight...

And I found nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

Oh sure... lots of red pickup trucks...

Lots of waving bears carved out of logs...

But no Twilight related anything.

No merchandise, no posters...

No Edward, No Bella.

I wonder if the movie was even shown here...
The local library did have one copy of the book.

One.

And it was there. Right next to "New Moon", "Eclipse"

and "Breaking Dawn"... all available.

I found myself asking anyone I could if they had

heard of Twilight...

And the best line I heard all day?

"Yeah, Twilight. Sure. That's the best time for fishin'"

I give up.

1. Bella/Kristen

As usual, she looks gorgeous...

but even though she is finding solace

in Jake's arms...

She doesn't look comfortable.

She's still keeping a distance...

Her arms look awkward.

And her eyes tell you her mind...

her heart...

are somewhere else.

2. Jacob/Taylor

WoW.

Months ago...

I expressed my doubt

that Taylor could sufficiently

play a love interest/rival

in New Moon.

He has proven me wrong.

In Twilight

He was a cute kid...

who was kinda charming.

In this picture...

He is showing that

he is smoldering...

sexy...

and up for the fight

for Bella's heart.

And he looks phenomenal.

3. Edward/Robert.

Well...

There isn't a lot of Rob

on this cover.

And there's not a lot

of Edward in the book.

So it works.

But it just shows

that Edward is there...

Somewhere...

In the New Moon.

And as always...

Rob looks beautiful.

Edward perfection.

Seeing all of these new

New Moon images...

does make me anxious

to see the movie.

And what I have seen so far...

Leads me to believe

I won't be disappointed.

They were all here, all together,

and a few million people know about it.

People had already figured out

where the fuck he was...

And moments after that

the building was surrounded

by women and paparazzi.

The agony and ecstasy

of Twitter.

You may not believe this...

but I was actually hoping for Rob

to find some peace in NYC.

I was actually hoping

NOT to see his face for a few days.

And I know as much as I needed a break

from all things

Robert Pattinson...

His need for a break

was magnified a zillion times.

I do understand the want and need

for people to want a piece of Rob.

It is a double edged sword...

Between knowing what is right

and knowing what you want.

And I sure as hell know that if

Rob were a block or so away from me...

I would be right the fuck down there.

You fucking betcha.

Because even though it just might

be a passing glimpse...

It would be a piece of heaven...

to see Robert... live.

And to quote Wayne Gretzky...

"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

I love how he can turn that part

I love how his back is to Jacob

His hands look tense.

His eyes focused on what is behind him.

And Taylor IS Jacob.

The boy has done the job well.

glowering at Edward...

His hand clenched in a fist.

He's between Edward and Bella...

Right where he belongs in NM.

He's protecting Bella...

He won't let Edward hurt her again.

And Kristen Stewart.

She has always been Bella.

She is looking directly at the camera...

with one hand on Jake's arm.

Bella looks beautiful...

and a bit unsure of where

she goes from here.

LOVE IT.

for New Moon.

And man oh man...

Robert as Edward.

The best of both worlds.
