There was Rob in the tree with him...

God that was so fucking adorable.

Seeing Rob clinging for dear life to the tree...

trying so hard to be funny

but willing to go along with it.

All shaggy and charming.

Disheveled.

"A little bit... broken"

I just watched the clip from this on my DVR.

Yes.

I still have all these TV interviews saved.

(I guess because I'm not a "real" fan)

And I watch them when I'm feeling nostalgic.

Rob was promoting "Remember Me"

He was all awkward and sweet

pulling his hand through his hair...

Hair that was going in every direction.

So surprised that the girls were really screaming for him.

Uncomfortable at the attention.

I miss that naive... innocent Rob.

Our Rob.

We all knew it would end eventually

Didn't we?

That time and circumstance would change him.

And us.

Of course...

We have this Rob now.

So handsome.

Dapper.

Suave.

Polished.

And he might not be as innocent

and he might be weary

and wary

and maybe even a wee bit cynical at times.

But that's to be expected

after 6 years in the eye of a hurricane.

But he's still there.

That Rob.

That Rob we all fell for.

It's still in his laugh.

How he grabs his water bottle

like its a life preserver...

How he still gets embarrassed

by people calling his name

and taking his picture.

How he doesn't like being the center of attention

and still hasn't gotten used to it.

And by how his hand still automatically

pulls through his hair.
