Robert and Kristen- Who Knows How Long

Who knows how long I've loved you
You know I love you still

Will I wait a lonely lifetime
If you want me to... I will.

For if I ever saw you
I didn't catch your name
But it never really mattered
I will always feel the same.

Love you forever and forever
Love you with all my heart
Love you whenever we're together
Love you when we're apart

And when at last I find you
our song will fill the air
Sing it loud so I can hear you

Make it easy to be near you

For the things you do endear you to me

Oh... You know I will

I will.

This post brought to you by the letters *A* and *B*
A for All is well.
Really.

B for all the unnecessary Bullshit that has
affected this fandom like a disease.
Where's Dr. Cullen when you need him?

Bye for now

  2. Rose, I was just reading your early first posts on this blog. Oh, how obsessed you were and so in love. Remember those days! I love all the quotes from the novels and your clear understanding of the connection two people can make. I kind of miss those days. All the best.

  3. Aw, I love when I check in my twitter box around this time and see you posted!

    You're awesome.

  4. Rose and friends

I want to share to you something Ive read, written by our local writer...

"You are like an oyster shell making a very precious pearl. Do you know how precious pearls are made? No expensive and rare pearls, like South Sea pearl and Persian Gulf pearls, are made without small organisms that irritates the oyster, just like parasites. Precious, expensive and rare pearls are made because of those irritants. They are called mollusks which invaded the oyster. They irritates the oyster thereby producing a beautiful, expensive and precious pearls."

Dont mind and ignore those irritants Rose. Just think that they're helping you in making a hard, beautiful, expensive and precious pearl out of these. Like diamonds, the more they are deep and exposed to heat and pressure, the very rare and expensive they become.

You are like a precious pearl and rare diamond Rose. The more hate you receive, you begets twice more love. There are people who loves and care for you, it is evident here. Treasure them as they treasure you.

I have been following your blog for quite a long time now. There are circumstances in life that stop me from posting. But I think its time to say my appreciation for the happiness you bring to me, by writing your thoughts, with respect to them, regarding to the two people we love.

Until next time then Rose, when i have a chance and time to drop by. But for sure I'll still read your blogs when possible. Hope this will cheer you up such as you and your friends cheer me up.

  5. Rose-

You know how to make a woman smile! It's perfect for the BS that is going on right now.

Glad all is well for you my friend. You have had a "meh" kind of week it seems.

Hugs to all my friends wherever you may be right now.

Find your happy and hold on tight! Stealing that quote from someone cause I love it.

As always, happy they are happy...

  8. Feeling the love!

    Repost...

I was thinking of a new diary since Honey is currently stuck on the ship with Hershey Smooches but "The Man" is watching (said in stage whisper)

I could always repost that one if I could find it, which would probably take forever, so I'll just keep it on the down low.

There is no one presently on the island so it is open for anyone needing to be placed in exile. Coconut Moob bras are extra. :o) So are walnut chastity belts! :oP

I'm glad everything is well, we were concerne about you yesterday, in your post you sounded sad, and upset but then we were assured by a friend of yours that you were ok and just need some time...I am know concerne about our friend Bailey, I'm afraid that she might be feeling sad, this is not how I like to imagine our friend...but knowing she as such wonderful loyal and protective friends, that are there for her made less apprehensive...I heart your both big time.

As for you post, lovely as always.
SOON, they will be together, TWIRL! TWISTS! for THIS!

And I heart all of you who post her...Well, not Honey or MoniKa

  15. Happy to read your post...LOVELY. Dr Cullen's compassion and some of Jasper's "calming vibes"....all feels better in Roseland

  16. Hey Lilly.....as do we (I) adore you.

Hope you are having a lovely evening.

  17. Rose, a lovely blog today. I'm sure we're going to be TWIRLING soon.

In the meantime, I have a CONFESSION TO MAKE to all of my friends here. Can't admit this kind of stuff to just "anyone" or they'd have me committed. I started reading a Fanfiction called "BEYOND TWILIGHT" which I found on Twilighted.net by accident. I was used to reading fanfic about any and everything Twilight BUT now I'm reading fiction about Kris and Rob (and it feels a little like being a "peeping tom"). I can't stop reading, so well written, must keep reminding myself this is FICTION (a lot of true facts are used). Anyway, is this sick? Has anyone else resorted to this while we are waiting for our next R/K sighting?

Thanks, all of you, for being here. I read every day but don't always have a chance to post.

PLEASE, I'd love to hear what you all think about this.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Liza- quit hogging the Lilly love will ya????

    :)

Liz-read your comment and wanted to repond- we had a discussion on the blog about fanfic some time ago and found that some are sensitive to R/K fanfic because they are real people and it is a little "peeping tomish" even if well written. I actually enjoy E/B fanfic myself.

Just wanted to pass this along to you. I don't want you to think anyone is upset with you for mentioning it though.

  19. Beautiful Rose,
I love the new layout (am I late to see this?) it's wonderful.

    I can wait.

  20. Hi again,

I will do a very quick post but wanted to say not to worry about Bailey--she is just fine. Annoyed and all that but just fine. She loved the defenses on the last post and thanks you all. She also apologized as she was concerned some might feel odd but the ignorant attorney is probably in hiding so please don't worry about any of it. All is well as our darling Rose said!

    Take care-
    Lilly

  21. Ha ha sorry Melinda...am I getting embarrassing...**blushes**

    If so I apologise :-)

  22. To 'THE MAN':
I have a confession to make as well. I would like to plead "GUILTY" to playing the game 'MFK' the other night. However, you have my permission to use any of my private information to pass along to George Clooney and his lawyers. I was serious about wanting to visit him in his lovely villa in Italy.
Thank you very much. Oh and you should really try 'twirling' with us because it is good for the soul.

Best Wishes, Hope from Dallas, TX

  23. Hello everyone *waves* I'm a long-time lurker, first-time poster. I've really enjoyed coming to this very chill, very positive site of Rose's. I once frequented the AT boards on all things Stewy n Flippy, but it became too horrid. One of the few sane regs recommended robstenlove.com and there I heard of Rose's snarky, loveable blog. And it's fantastic! I hope to chat w/you all soon. Oh, and Liz? No, you're not the only one who's read R/K fic. I never did before, but I was pointed to one called "Quiet" by Ever and it was so beautifully written, tastefully done and definitely follows r/k's timeline of loveliness. ok, gotta run, hasta luego, amigos!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Melinda,

Thanks for the feedback, not offense taken. I must have missed the previous comments about this, I've been coming here for about 3 months but I do miss sometimes. I enjoy the E/B fanfic and all other other Twi characters but this R/K is a first for me and I feel a bit like a "peeping tom" because they are REAL people. I just wondered if everyone else feels the same way.

  25. Hello everyone...its been ages...i see some new commenters guess ive been gone for too long...working on my masters so unfortunately i have no time to come here but i miss your blog Rose...and most of all miss seing our fav couple...i went back to catch up it seems that they were some regs and others on here that i used to see all the time but dont anymore...and also so many that were deleted due to something that happened which sent people away...

To all those so-called monitors eff off!! we come here to have fun...that's it...you know who you are because i know they or he/she is a lurker.

LIZ...haha i was intoduced by a friend of mine of some R/K fanfic...i just think its creepy but hilarious..personally i find it very intrusive and stopped halfway reading my first one because i felt a bit embarassed....lol but thats just me..,i feel more comfortable with the E/B ones because they are fictional characters..jmo.

have a great week everyone...lets cross our fingers for a reunion very soon. tc.

  26. Miss Rose
What a beautiful post. The pictures are so cool.

To the regulars, ladies don't make me sad. I count on you to make my day. I've always been told anything bad or sad shall pass.

Here something to cheer us up. Since Miss Rose was going to a wedding yesterday, I started to think that she was one of the lucky people to be attending kristen and rob's wedding. How lovely kristen must have looked in a beautiful vera wang wedding dress and rob in a gorgeous armani suit.

It is possible. I think I will be like sibohn in breaking dawn. I am gonna think it so.

The good WILL outweigh the bad.

Lilly, tell Bailey not to be concerned about us feeling odd. We've all seen I'm not afraid to say what I want and speak my mind. No pansy man's gonna change that.

I'm still going to say fuck... I'm still going to tell dirty jokes, and I'm still going to woo (and be wooed)

  30. Rose Rose Rose, I have posted on your blog about three to four times now and enjoy it tremendously. I enjoy it so much that my sister and I decided to go back and look at some of your older blogs. We laughed our asses off. Have you went back to read some of the stuff you have written. The shit is epic. I enjoyed your tests with the Nonsten fans, Raving Robsten fans and of course Abbey. But the fav was the blogs with the the dolls. The RPattz doll the orgeano bottle. All of it. EPIC. You rock girl.

  31. Rose,my friend, I'm so glad you're back. We were all worried about you. Hugs!

    @gwen: that was simply beautiful.

@Liz: I do the same thing! If you search through the stuff out there you'll find some good stuff. My favorite author is Swoozy on RobertPattinsonFanFiction.com. She has just finished a story about Rob,"Off The Grid", that is very good. I'm afraid Kristen isn't part of the story, but she captures Rob's mannerisms perfectly and is an excellent storyteller.

Rob and Kristen have such beautiful smiles. Seeing them happy makes my heart smile. Kristen in the deep blue gown is simply stunning. And of course, words by John and Paul are always superb.

Thank you Penny Lane for the excellent comments at 2:04 and all the other great ones by everyone else. Yes, sad, pathetic and laughable.
Wait for it.......we're all so effing Goofy!

Thank you Gwen for the lovely pearl story.

  38. Liz,

I was going to ignore your request for comment on certain types of fanfic but decided I wanted my opinion known. I personally find it distasteful and intrusive. Irregardless of whether it is well written, I think the subject matter is unseemly. The best tool to judge is would you want fiction written concerning you and your partner? To me it is wrong in so many ways and totally unnecessary. Read a book instead.

    P

    ReplyDelete
  39. Trish, Karen and Penny Lane,

Thanks for your comments on the R/K fiction..... exactly what I needed to make up my own mind. I knew how it felt to me BUT now I have to decide whether to stop reading or to continue and feel a bit guilty about it. YES, I do think about what THEY think about all this fictional stuff written about them and they must think it is creepy or let's hope they just get a good laugh out of it.

Thanks again for the comments, it's the first time I've seen this mentioned here.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Lil-

Tell that sister of yours that she better realize that when one person is upset, the rest of us get upset.

I don't think any of us felt odd. That attorney (if he is lurking) probably doesn't know what hit him.

You don't mess with the sassy sisterhood...

  50. This is just my opinion on the fanfiction--its creepy and weird to read fanfiction about R/K or any real people as its just weird. Like Penny and other said but honestly guys, just don't fight. No more drama--some people are going to read it and that's cool--if that's what they like who can stop them? No more drama here okay, let's just have fun tonight....I know I could use it and I hope when Rose comes back she finds love and twirling people here.

  51. Rose,

Again you have out done yourself. I hope you had time to spend some time with your beautiful family yesteday after your trying week. I've only posted a couple of times but you seem to take the words out of my mouth. After a long day at work your thoughs revive me. I have said before and I will say it again that hate is toxic and a waist of time. One of my best friends was just diagnosis with cancer so life kinda gets put in perspective. You realize that the thing that matters most is love and friendship. And, you always know how to point that out especially when it comes to these two beautiful people, Rob and Kristen, and for the people you care about here that also post (the positive ones the believers) Like many,I believe we will be twirling soon as well. I have my dancing shoes ready. Here is to happy thoughs for all tonight. ~Julie

  56. Thanks!!

It was fun...my Daughter's team came in second in their region!

So, I just have to share this little story. Today on the way home we stopped at the grocery store on the Island. Lots of tourist shop here since there is no chain store on the Island. There was a older man in a neon blue spedo and flip flops in line in front of me. He had to have been in his late 70's. I about died!! Just picture saggy skin in a electric blue spedo with slight moobs. Quite the picture...unfortunately it's not the worst thing I've ever seen!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. How about a game of "would you rather" today? Anybody up for that?

You KNOW the rules. HOW one person proposes two things which are equally REPUGNANT and you have to say which you would choose and you have to choose one. If you don't the LAWYERS ARE and will get you AND THEY ARE scary. So don't be STUPID...who wants to play?

    ReplyDelete

  60. Hi Everyone!

Honestly... I'm overwhelmed with all the kindness and support you have shown me.

    Thank You.

Please know that none of my feelings were based on anything that happened here... I'm not upset or angry at anyone or any comments.

I just had an emotional last few days... and sometimes those types of feelings get the better of me.
    But all is well.

I love how people feel that coming here is a GOOD thing... that this is a HAPPY place. That makes ME happy.

    Thank You.

  61. Hope Yes...and if you listen real carefully you can probably still hear my mother-in-law screaming "Tony Marry Me!!!" she's been sending out "How Bout them Cowboy" messages all evening

    ReplyDelete
  63. Rose, I'm so sorry you've had a rough few days, hopefully things get better for you, and I'm also relieved to know that what happened here didn't add to your distress.

    ReplyDelete
  64. YOU KNOW, I wanted some HONEST comments on a subject and when I got some nice honest comments, apparently some have taken it personal and offensive. We all make mistakes but at least 99% of us REALLY LOVE R/K together or apart.

Shouldn't we ALL be able to ask questions and get each others' opinions without causing heartache to anyone?

I value EVERYONE'S opinions here, a lot of us have a lot to learn.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Well, I'm a bit heartbroken...my Saints lost :( To the Falcons *gasp* of all teams!!

I took no offense. Again, I just offered my opinion. Sorry if I came across that way.

    Hi Leigh,

  76. Oh, def spend a week with Honey and her Doll!! At least I could laugh at her. All I would want to do with the lawyer is as Tracy says...punch him in his junk ;)

Thanks Kami :) I feel the love!

    Hi Penny *waves*

    ReplyDelete
  77. Okay, I would choose honey too but it would be hard--can you imagine having to listen to her drone on about how she knows best about everything--ugh!

So I'm going to go down a list..

Just so everyone knows, I'm still fucking Goofy.

Melinda.. Liza totes is wearing the crown and sash for now.. she's not hogging anything ;) She *earned* that tiara!!

Uhm.. RL fanfiction? Oh Hell no. It creeps me out and is so inappropriate that I can't even begin to explain.

    *WAVES* to 1RoseFan

Rose - glad you're okay. And *HUGS HUGS* to you.

  80. Penny --you are anything but dense--(((HUGS))) to you my friend.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Yea--but the Lawyer?

Nope just couldn't do it...I have a special disgust of them as we are dealing with a REALLY fine piece of shit on the whole oil spill thing down here.

You could always muzzle Honey ;) Duct tape works wonders!!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Thanks for the wave Tracy!

    ReplyDelete
  83. At least with Honey you could shove a coconut in her mouth and bury her in the sand...a lawyer would sue you every time you burned the coconut soup

    ReplyDelete
  84. Actually, I would choose the lawyer. I think it would be fun to have a battle of words and wit. I don't think he would be very good at it.

Worst case, I could probably flirt my way out of anything. Men are so stupid about that. Honey would just exasperate me.
    P

    ReplyDelete
  85. I'd rather spend the time with Honey.. study her in her natural habitat and report back to SueBee so she can continue the chronicles.

And then Leigh and I are going to go find the lawyer and play out that scene at the end of What Happens in Vegas.

    You know what you did!

    ;)

    ReplyDelete
  86. 1RoseFan- I can't stick around right now... Hopefully I will be able to come back later tonight.

After the end of the credits, there's a scene where the best friends go to Cameron's character's ex's house.. He rings the doorbell, she punches him in the junk.. then she looks at him and says "You know what you did!" and walks off.

  90. 1RoseFan,

I would FORGET about the lawyer and would go TO the island to watch the WAVES flow over Honey where she is buried in the sand.

    ReplyDelete
  91. T-you're back! I'm totally ninja right now. Have people over and they won't leave (JK I like having them here)
    I'll be back later.

    1Rosefan-Hi!!!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Okay, this game gets gross...feel free to propose your own since you are all incredibly smart and creative but here's one that is how my family plays it....

Would you rather eat a plate that is half spaghetti and half human hair OR

Would you rather lick the seat of a NYC subway car?

    ReplyDelete
  93. Lovely post, Rose, and glad to see you are feeling better. I can't even put into words how much you mean to me. I found your blog by accident months ago when I was new to the intoxication and I felt totally alone, and kinda weird, having never felt like this about any actors before. Your words have brought me comfort, and made me feel like I was among friends, and not so weird. We just need to ignore the bad stuff, because I doubt it will ever go away, and stick with the people here who feel the same way we do, and are sane. I am looking forward to seeing Rob and Kris together, with that big smile on their faces, and it will be worth the wait. As for fanfiction, I am new to it, and usually stick with E/B. I haven't tried any R/K yet, maybe someday. Take care dear Rose, let us all keep twirling, our day is coming.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Woah..

    Uhm..

Lick the seat.. because I don't have to put my tongue back in my mouth before I try to drown it with mouthwash and some kind of disinfectant.

    ReplyDelete
  95. ewww evil, unwashed hair or unwashed butt...I'll take the hair

    ReplyDelete
  96. EEEWWWWW! Do we get qualifiers?? Like, would I know whose hair it was? How large of an area would I have to lick? How drunk could I be first? blah!!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Ha Tracy! I have never watched that movie but that sounds EXACTLY like what I would LOVE to do the the lawyer! I HATE lawyers!!

Ewww, eat the spaghetti. As long as the hair was washed before ya know...

I'm a germaphobe NO WAY am I licking a subway seat!!

    ReplyDelete
  98. Its hair from the floor of a hair salon, not yours.

You would have to lick the WHOLE seat.

You would have to be totally sober.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Okay..

Would you rather brush your teeth with a toothbrush used to clean a gas station bathroom?

    OR

Chew a piece of toenail off an old man's dirty foot?

    ReplyDelete
  100. Okay then, I'd choose the hair then promptly vomit afterwards.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Wow...umm...it's tough in your family ;)

I'm still going with the hair...at least they wash your hair before they cut it.

    ReplyDelete
  102. ewwww...excuse me a sec....GAG I'd use the toothbrush then drink a bottle of Listerine

    ReplyDelete
  103. Bwahahaha Tracy!!

Is the old man in a blue spedo?? LOL!!

    ReplyDelete
  104. I assume I can't surreptitiously spray the seat with disinfectant first

so eat the hair/spaghetti. That much hair would cause you to hark it up like a cat so no harm.

    P

    ReplyDelete
  105. I'm going with the hair...Licking that seat, it's like licking butts

    ReplyDelete
  106. Love you Rose.

"Of all the forms of courage, the ability to laugh is the most profoundly therapeutic."
"Mental health requires freedom of choice."
    ( both - Gordon Livingston, M.D.)

You do give us a place to come together and have good laughs and smiles and be happy. And it is our choice to be here with you and the lovely people of Roseland celebrating our intoxication and love of Rob and Kristen and their friends who have become our friends.

Another one just for you Rose,
"You are unrepeatable. There is a magic about you that is all your own...
    (-D.M. Dellinger)

    And finally,
"What we need are more people who specialize in the impossible."
    (-Theodore Roethke)

"I am fairly certain that given a cape and a nice tiara, I could save the world."
    (-Leigh Standley)

Well, not quite saving the world, but saving our sanity in this crazy world. Thanks again, do love this little blog spot!

*Waves to 1RF, you too, are so obviously a grand fan! : )

    Thanks for the hug PL.

I would pick Honey and doll.
Dated a couple of lawyers eons ago, both seemed to have ethics issues. Big turnoff. I try to be an ethical person.

Also, years ago, a lawyer rented a house we were trying to sell. His dog ( no pets allowed on lease - since we were trying to sell the house - I do love dogs and cats by the way...) chewed on three of my kitchen cabinets, spotted the carpet and ripped up the yard. He skipped out on the last month rent because he knew he wouldn't get his security depost back. We returned from out of state, confronted him politely in front of the real estate agent who had been handling the rental and he said, " Oh well, go ahead and sue me!" (He knew we wouldn't spend the time nor money to do that.)
*#!&**!#@ I was furious! No more unknown lawyers for me!
Oh my, I rambled. Thanks for listening. It still infuriates me.

Hugs to all, off to do some paperwork. Never ending, like doing the dishes.
    Olivia (TX.)

    ReplyDelete
  107. See Olivia...I told you lawyers SUCK!!!

    ReplyDelete
  108. HAHA! Tracy I KNEW you would embrace this game.

Okay, I'm picking the old dirty foot because while that is disgusting the toothbrush could contain god knows what from god knows how many fucking people.

    that was a good one!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Liz And Melinda I though I was the only one reading those books hehe I'v only read 13 of them cant seem to stop Yes they are all fantasy BUT BOY DO I LOVE THEM and I am sorry to say I do put Rob and Kristens face in them when i read them I'm to SICK and have a big imagination.and I'v never read so many books in my life.HAVE FUN READING I know I am DEB.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Tracy,

It would be impossible to eat an old man's toenail. Have you ever looked closely at an old man's toe? The nails get fungal infections and are yellow and about 1/2 inch thick. They have to have them trimmed with special toe trimmer thingys. So unless you have vampire teeth, impossible.

  111. speaking of speedos...I know random...our new neighbors, we call them the "Fuckwit Hillbillies" were out in their yard today...mowing, he was wearing black speedos, black socks and sandals...I wanted to take a picture and post it on here but my husband wouldn't let me..

    ReplyDelete
  112. Olivia
Love your quotes-so much to admire in those with wisdom & integrity.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Even so Penny, I am going to have to go with the toenail, too. Even if I had to gnaw it off, I still can't get past the gas station bathroom toothbrush.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Oh um, I refuse to play this game. I've been forced to before and it deteriorates quickly. Unless you were raised by wolves as SOME people were--and built an immunity to it, she simply revels in watching NORMAL people get nauseated as she disgusts them with years of experience.

Be warned ladies--this will end badly!

    Lily

    ReplyDelete
  115. Kami,

Didn't you say you have a HOA. Wouldn't speedos violate some code like you can't display lewd lawn ornaments or something?
    P

    ReplyDelete
  116. I'll go the toenail of the old man...and vomit afterwards

    ReplyDelete
  117. 1RoseFan
    Happy hello ((Waves)).

So, the games have begun, don't know if I am ready but I may give them a try.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Penny: I hadn't thought of that one...I'll do anything to keep them from doing that one again.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Don't be afraid Lily... it's just a bunch of harmless, innocent, sweet, loving, craft making, brownie baking, delicate women playing! How bad could it get? Honestly?!?!

    ;)

    ReplyDelete
  120. Okay, would you rather be deaf or blind?

    ReplyDelete
  121. OK..

would you rather drink a whole cup of water out of a public restroom toilet

    OR

eat 5 of those HUGE hissing cockroaches??

    ReplyDelete
  122. Here's one,

Would you rather see bedbugs crawling off of a person as they sat on an upholstered chair and have to then sit in that same chair yourself for an extended period of time

    or
Walk barefoot through the sewers of New York City for 1 hour.

    ReplyDelete
  123. OKAY seriously dude???

This is a big joke with him--um, crap, and he FINALLY wins one because I cannot tell the story without ...

grrrrrr...you win tonight dude but I'll get ya!

And I love you to death and forever and ever. You are the best "benefit" I've ever had.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Blind...I'm already half way there. But I can hear a pin drop!

    ReplyDelete
  125. This is so going to look weird on one comment, but here goes.

I'd rather be blind. I know there are many, many beautiful things that are out in the world for us to see.. but if I couldn't hear music, I don't know what I'd do. Music is for my soul.

    AND

if I had to, I'd go with the cockroaches. They're a delicacy somewhere, right? As long as someone had like a couple of gallons of (clean)water next to me, I'd employ the kiddo's method of taking meds.. HUGE drink, shove that sucker in, and swallow.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Leigh--has the toilet been used? If it was from the tank I pick the toilet...that's clean water kinda.

Otherwise the cockroaches...I think you can actually make them edible with the right sauce or something.

    ReplyDelete
  127. I'll take the bedbugs, and hissing cockroaches...

    ReplyDelete
  128. OK girls Im sorry Im talking about fanfiction .net books not the shit they say about Rob and Kristen i hope you all understand what i was saying about the books again Im sorry if any one thought I was reading shit about out two lovers PS have fun tonight I'll stop bye later to read what you all are up to its really fun to read . DEB.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Deaf definitely, then if it really bothered you get a cochlear implant and its all good.

The toilet water is all kinds of wrong. Seriously, it could kill you even if you vomited it right up. You could still have some bacteria growing in your mouth and ick. So cockroach.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Of course it's been used...picture the gas station bathroom that you walk into and then turn right back around and say...I'll hold it ;)

    ReplyDelete
  131. I'd rather walk an hour in the sewers.. just REALLY REALLY slow.. like 1ft/hour kind of slow.

Hi SueBee! We're playing Would you rather?

    ReplyDelete
  132. Ewwww...Penny...bedbugs are really bad. But then again, NYC sewer...equal ewwwww!

Um, I guess the bedbugs because you can at least get over those but the sewer could be for life.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Speaking of toilet water...one time in middle school in truth or dare I made a girl drink a cup of water out of the toilet.

I feel really bad about it now...even though I still don't like her!!

    ReplyDelete
  134. Bedbugs-definitely, cause they can be killed by smothering.

Blind-like Tracy said-living without the sound of voices, music, wind, rain, too hard to handle.

    ReplyDelete
  135. I would have to go with the bedbugs...if it wasn't in my house!!

I have a bit of OCD...if it had to be my house...I would have to go with the sewer. At least I could wash that off before I came home!!

    ReplyDelete
  136. oh they are delightful choices...sewers, bedbugs, Honey, Lawyers, hair, old men's toenails,

    ReplyDelete
  137. Deaf, bonus that I wouldn't hear the cockroaches hissing. I'm with Tracy on the sewer, the bedbugs would give me nightmares.

    ReplyDelete
  138. ***sigh**** my Husband is reading over my shoulder and he has a phobia of bedbugs of late since he travels a lot and stays in hotels, so he is forcing me to change my answer to NYC Sewers

    ReplyDelete
  139. Ewwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!

    I'd rather.......not!

    ReplyDelete
  140. You gotta pick one Sue...

    ReplyDelete
  141. Lick whole NY subway seat, can't stomach hair in my mouth, you can imagine why.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Kami,

Tell him husbands aren't allowed here.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Nope, I have a massive creep out factor when it comes to cockroaches and bedbugs. I'll see what's behind door #3

  146. Ewww, Kami!

You better hope he doesn't bring any home! I'm with him. It always freaks me out when I have to stay in a hotel!

I'm so weird I take my own comforter and sleep on top of it. I can't believe I just told you that! See, I'm a freak!!

    ReplyDelete
  147. Holy, Moly, you guys are GROSS tonite!!! :) Sorry to not participate, but I've already gagged a few times reading your posts!

Hey, gang, let's all remember that we can't appreciate the good unless there's a little bad. How can we know what good is, right? So all of us, even Rose, having a bad day is ultimately a good thing. A blessing, even!

Let's all keep twirling, even when there is sadness and tears. One of my favorite lines is from Steel Magnolias, where Dolly Parton says, "Laughter through tears is my favorite emotion!"

  149. LOL SueBee if you're a freak, so am I, I saw a news show once that showed with a black light what was on those bedspreads in Hotels...ewww

    ReplyDelete
  150. Leigh
I like this new hotel thing, where they cover the bedspread with a sheet like duvet, which they claim is washed after every hotel visit.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Yea Dreamer--CLAIM being the operative word there. Sorry, I don't believe it. And I don't want to sleep on sheets that have been washed with everyone else's funk!!

    ReplyDelete
  152. @Kami

Not to worry, I AM a freak about that too! :oP

    ReplyDelete
  153. Yep--gotta bring your own sheets and mattress pad. Sounds psycho but its better than bugs and funk.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Hey--if this game is too gross we can stop.

    I don't want anyone to get sick-lol!

I have to get going soon anyway. it was nice talking to you all. Thanks for everything--you guys rock!

    ReplyDelete
  155. And the carpet in hotel rooms doesn't bear close inspection, lol. Getting sick now?

    ReplyDelete
  156. See you guys are making me feel better :) My hubby makes fun of me...or he used to. Now he just shakes his head and loads the car with everything without asking ;)

The funny thing is that my 5 year olds teacher asked me if she had OCD because she used germ-ex like 20 times a day!! I've created a monster!

    ReplyDelete
  157. Okay

Would you rather lick chocolate syrup off of the sidewalk?

    OR

Would you rather lick chocolate syrup off of a very large and ugly, very hairy, very naked and sweaty guy?

    ReplyDelete
  158. Totally random but could someone have pity on me and tell me how to post a little picture/avatar on board?

    ReplyDelete
  159. Chocolate syrup-hmmm, so tasty, sidewalk for sure but ugly guy is a possibility, too-love that chocolate, whenever, wherever.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Sidewalk--no doubt!!

    I don't do sweaty ugly men :0

1RoseFan--We are so happy you were able to find your way to Roseland!! You are always welcome in the Sassy Sisterhood ;)

    ReplyDelete
  161. SIdewalk...for the love of god--that sweaty guy sounds like a fucking lawyer!

    Thanks Leigh!

    ReplyDelete
  162. 1 Rose Fan:

Welcome to the hen house! May I say you rock as well!

    Have a great night.

    ReplyDelete
  163. 1RoseFan see ya later, we love having you here in Roseland

    ReplyDelete
  164. Adore you Rose, your blog, the Beatles, all the lovely ladies and gents who congregate here and of course, Rob and Kristen.

Rose, sorry you had such an atrocious week but you know the old saying, "What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger."

As for the games, the choices are just yuck, haha. Don't think I can make a choice.

    Twirls

    ReplyDelete
  165. Okay what's shakin peeps???

Not going back and answering questions. I'll pick up on the next ones if it continues.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Thanks ladies--you guys are so great and I love Roseland.

If Rose comes back tell her I wrote her an email that is a fricking novel--lol--and I'm sorry I missed her.

And give Lilly hell if he shows up again.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Would you rather be without

    a sense of smell

    or

    a sense of taste?

    ReplyDelete
  168. I think we've grossed people out with the icky would you rather questions.. (which, I lurve playing it that way)

But if everybody wants to start with a less disgusting option, I'm game..

    ReplyDelete
  169. Loving the picture SueBee :)

Hmm.. difficult, as I am often times without a sense of taste when I can't smell...

I'd probably say I'd rather be without a sense of taste. It might make eating those healthy veggies a bit more palatable.

    ReplyDelete
  170. @Tracy

Thanks! It pays to advertise! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  171. Gotta go to bed so I'm ready for the 8 year olds tomorrow morning.
    'night.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Good night 1RoseFan!

How would that work SueBee? They seem so connected....I guess I would give up the sense of taste because smell can be so emotional, if that makes sense.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Well, gosh guys! Work with me here! LOL

    Okay

Someone else pick something because I'm drawing a blank right now.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Would you live in constant darkness where it was always warm (80 degrees or warmer) or constant sunlight where it was always cold (25 degrees or colder) and snowy?

    ReplyDelete
  175. Tracy

I hope it was PAINFUL to read ;)

    Suebee

    Loving the picture!!

I'm off to bed ladies. I hope everyone has a fabulous night!

    ReplyDelete
  176. I'll take the sunshine! Do we get blankets if we picked the cold weather?

    ReplyDelete
  177. Climate appropriate attire. :) (I'd choose the sun, also.)

    ReplyDelete
  178. Goodnight Leigh

I think I would go with sunshine too

    ReplyDelete
  179. Okay

I just have to say.. went to the Farmer's Market today.. they've got all their gourds out.

Have you guys SEEN some of the gourds that are available? Did they genetically alter these things to be THAT phallic looking?! And what's worse.. some were all bumpy and shrively looking..

    ReplyDelete
  180. Tracy,

Thanks for the images!!! Genetic experiments by male grad students?
