I really do wonder if Tom's possibly starring in a movie with Carey, or if they are really good friends, or if they are indeed dating. He had a girlfriend called Nettie I'm sure of it. And when Rob and him went to the UK, whilst Kristen was filming for On The Road. There was a tweet that implied Tom and Nettie were still together.

ReplyDeleteThat is such a pretty picture of Kristen...from the L.A. Times article. She just looks so sweet. I will never understand how anyone could hate on such a sweet young girl. I love her honesty, her attitude, her private nature. I hate this phrase, but she keeps it real. And so does Robert. All the things I just said about her also describe Robert. And that's why I think they're so perfect together. And I would love to see them last.

He is very peripheral to me. It's exactly like that picture...he's somewhere in the background while Rob and Kristen make out in the foreground. Anyway, I don't know what's happening with him and Carey, but she did just break up with Shia a few weeks ago. So, I'll reserve judgement on this new development.

Ok ladies, let's give Tom the love he deserves, and not meaning you have to be attracted to him. He always, ALWAYS, has his friends' backs,which to me says he's a good guy, add to that the way he cares for and takes care of Kristen (when needed) and well I have to say..Tom is pretty great. No attraction he's technically old enough to be my son, I would have had to be 16 when he was born, but add to that the fact that he looks like my older brother did attraction...no...admiration..yes he is an awesome guy...IMO
ReplyDeletePL, Angelica and whoever else I missed...I met my husband by accident at an event I shouldn't have gone to, it was the end of the College semester, nearly and I thought dating him for a few weeks would be a nice way to pass the time til school was out...it took me 3 months to admit that I loved him and 3 more to admit that I was serious about him...sighhh...so glad I did. And yes we are sickeningly in love, drives our friends and some family crazy.

Anyway, probably won't be too many pic. of R or K as they are in a small southern town and "the south" has its own code of ethics, you would never invade someones private life. Read the "Twilight in BR page" on FB. and you will see how most people there think. I know as I was born and raised in Wisconsin, then went to FL. and now am in a very small town in TN. They respect peoples privacy here in TN, even famous people. Thanks for making me smile and lol almost everyday. You taught me something new and so fun, you taught me how to twirl ;)

ReplyDeleteMy husband is my best friend's husbands best friend (I hope that makes sense).I thought he was only interested in one thing until I was taken seriously ill when I was 19 and my mum told me he'd refused to leave the hospital for 72 hours until I was conscious and out of danger. I decide at that point he was probably a keeper :)

Great post Rose as usual. I really don't know how you do it every day, but am very grateful you do. I would love to see Rob and Kris get married when they are ready. They have been together for awhile and they seem so perfect for each other, and I really think they have a chance. Sorry, girls, I hope no one was upset when I said I didn't really care about Tom. Maybe I should clarify...what I mean is that I would not be interested in Tom, wouldn't have any idea who he is even, if it weren't for Rob and Kristen. But I certainly do love and adore his friendship with both.
ReplyDeleteWhen I used to read the AT, it would make me SO angry to read the posts that insisted since Tom and Rob hung out so often they must be gay. I, like all of us, have a best friend...and I, like all of us, travel with, spend my free time with, shop with, road-trip with, drink with, hang out amongst significant others with, etc. with my best friend. If I was famous and private jetting it everywhere and mansioning, and partying etc., my best friend would be with me. For just about every step of the way. Matter of fact, most of my friends would. We'd be the American pack. Nothing unusual whatsoever. And I appreciate his staunch friendship with Rob and thereby Kristen.
Side note: I love all your stories of how you met your husbands. I'm not married yet, so I love to hear these tales. I met my boyfriend when I was out for my 21st birthday and he bought me shots all night and made me sick as I've ever been. Several years later, we ran into each other again. And it was love at second sight.

Well, the fun thing about actually being on twitter is that you can see not only what someone tweets, but what someone has tweeted TO them or about them. So there are TONS of comments to her and about her with people making mad fun of her. Which is fun. And I looked at her followers and 90% of them are Rob/Kristen fans and are clearly following her for their own amusement or to keep track of her.

ReplyDeleteI agree that he needs to give it more time and try to get involved in more things. He does get along with his roommate, they were friends before. His roommate is also thinking about transferring to a different school next year, if he doesn't they plan on getting an off-campus place together with another friend. I think it is just the adjustment to a college course load and the living in the dorm thing after growing up as an only child in a close family. He is also a pretty mature kid after everything and doesn't have a lot of tolerance for BS immaturity that many freshman guys exhibit. At this point he is planning on staying where he is the whole year, so at least I am not having to deal with a kid wanting to come home right now. I know it will get better, he just needs to give it time.
Am I wrong in thinking that the actress playing Rosalie also did a movie where she was a teenaged crack whore? If so talk about truth in casting...tsk tsk tsk...

ReplyDeleteI think the whole dorm experience can be really hard for a lot of kids. A lot of them just want to party and drink because that's what they think college is about.
The problem with transferring is not all credits transfer and there is no guarantee the next place will be any different. Its hard to know when to encourage and when to back off and let things work out on their own. Hang in there, it will work itself out.

Yes, it means that after this round of Chemo she has one surgery, then gets her leg fitted..then break until Christmas..after the new year we see what the spot on her lung is. So it's looking good..oh and she decided she wanted to go trick or treating as Snow White this year..if I get pics I'll post them.

My daughter couldn't wait to leave for college and get her own apartment there. It was a sad time for me, having her away.
After she finished the first two years for her Associates, she thought she might stay in that downstate town (2-1/2 hours from family).
Thankfully she changed her mind (that boyfriend who was the influencer is now GONE.)

ReplyDeleteMy daughter came home last night and told me that her serious BF said they should just get married!
She told him, that she needs a real proposal and a ring. I'm proud of her for that. They are moving very fast (which is fine, it's their lives) but she has always dreamed of the big wedding scene.
As you said, it goes on and on, watching them live, and supporting their choices. Life would be duller if they didn't make it so lively.
The tables are reversing now, and I ask them to support my choices. We are making progress in that regard.
