Rob and Kristen- Melt Into Each Others Arms

OK... OK!
I wrote about Thomas yesterday...
Not so much about Robert.
But where the hell IS Robert?
And if he doesn't show his pretty face...
Well...
I just go with what is being talked about.
And yesterday was ALL about Tom.

So.
Still nothing.
Could Brazil be in the near future?
Robert.
Kristen.
Gorgeous location...
I'm thinking that they won't have to work TOO hard
on the 'get me while I'm human' scenes...
You know what I mean?

ANYWAY.
So I open up the blog this morning
and the first song that came on...
"I'll Be Your Lover, Too"
Um.
LOVE Robert singing that song.
LOVE Robert singing.
Where the hell is that CD??

So...
Since there isn't much to say today
(But I'm still doing a good job of saying nothing)

Listen to Robert sing.
It touches my heart.
Look at Robert and Kristen...
They touch my heart... too.

I'll be your man
And I'll understand

And I'll do my best
To take good care of you

You'll be my queen
I'll be your king

And I'll be your lover too
Yeah yeah
Yes I will

Derry down green
Color of my dream
A dream that's daily coming true.

And ohhh when the day is through
I will come to you and tell you of
Your many charms

And when you look at me
With eyes that see
And we'll melt into each others arms

You'll be my queen
And I'll be your king
And I'll be your lover too

I'll be your lover, too.

*********************************************

So Smitten.

This post is brought to you by the letters *M* and *S*

M for MELTING into each others arms.
*sigh*

S for...

You haven't.
Not even close.

Bye for now

    Love it! Great post!!

  2. Rose,

I love that song. I was never much of a Van Morrison fan until Robert reintroduced us.

So does that "S" reference mean we're sheep?

  3. Hi Penny!

    I know! I beat the trolls :D

I hope you are having a great day. How's the weather? I know you guys were supposed to have some more bad weather today...

  4. Rose, love all those pictures with the song. So lovely and pretty...both of them. I miss seeing them too. But I guess it's worth their peace.

I was gone for a week visiting my sister and her newest baby in New York and am so glad to be back. I could hardly even glance at the blog while I was away. Kids are busy. Anyway, hope everyone is well.

  5. Penny, I have a meeting that just got moved :/ I'll talk to you later.

Have a great day! Hope everyone stays safe!!

  6. I'm melting here Rose...happy sighs all around. Someone once said that we only see a glimpse of the feelings he has for Kristen. I can only imagine what it is like full on.

I think they touch many hearts. If you are living a life full of richness (as we all are here in Roseland) you can only be happy for them.

The picture of Kristen hitting her funny bone (which is never actually funny cause it hurts) and Rob's laughter/smile always makes me smile.

I am sure the floodgates will be opening soon and totally looking forward to it!

I am going to do my best today to not feed an unwanted visitor if they show up and let others get rid of her venom.

    ----------------------

Kami- hoping you are doing okay after the root canal. When I had one done they gave me Vicodin (good stuff!). I was one very happy camper let me tell you. Sending out some good vibes for a pain free day. Hugs!

Hope all is well with everyone so far.

  7. Love that song and love to hear Robert sing ... heartbreaking, he sings with his soul. I'm still waiting for him to release a CD.

And Rose...as Penny and leigh said is the 'S' reference means Sheep...What haven't we seen yet???...please do tell Rose :)

  9. Sydney-

You're back! Was wondering where you went off to. Did you take the sticky one with you b/c she hasn't been around at all either? She is still up to her antics on her twitter (no surprise there) but thankfully it hasn't spilled over here.

  10. hahaha
that is cute. I like that song, but I kinda like
    I was Broken
    more.

and I'm watching thefirst twilight movie now the part just went past when Bella was on the phone with her mom and Edward shows up in her room and she like rushes her off the phone and mom says, "c'mon we have to talk boys!" lol
    that always makes me laugh.

but I'm getting ready to go back to class.
Oh! I cooked today you guys.
    (baked chicken, corn, baked beans)

ha! I'm saying too much I have to go. ttyl!
    God Bless!!

  14. Oh for those wondering about the sheep reference...

many of the nonpeople call us R/K supporters sheep because we are having the wool pulled over our eyes about the truth. It's stupid really.

I would much rather be a cute and cuddly sheep than a nasty, ugly hyena.

I can't speak for Rose but this is how I am taking it.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Melinda:

Honey hasn't been in here at all? To be honest, I kinda forgot about her. It was nice. I hope she shows up here though. I just checked out her twitter and she didn't tweet for like a week. She was totally harassed on twitter for her stupidity. She had actually tweeted that Tom would escort Kristen to her WTTR premiere because "her sources" had told her so. She was laughed off twitter. I guess she's over the humiliation now though.

I so hope she comes here today. She's talking about how funny it is that the shippers are shipping Tom and Carey for being in a cab together. Which is exactly what she did with Tom and Kristen. Her idiocy knows no bounds.

I was so hoping when I came back there would have been verifiable R/K sightings. Oh well...at least they're together!! I'm sure they're 'practicing' heavily for their Isle Esme scenes.

  16. Hi Katy and Melinda and Leigh,

We're having a beautiful sunny autumn day here. The winds are quite strong still, but at least that brings the leaves down faster for raking.

Melinda rant all you want at the troll. I really don't understand her logic. What does she hope to accomplish by posting here unless her goal is simply to rile someone.

And what is with the name choices? She should be like a hurricane and change alphabetically.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Kami,

I forgot to wish you well with the root canal. When I had one I think the anticipation was worse than the actual procedure. Hope its the same for you.

I read your story on the last post and you truly have a remarkable family. We're all thinking of you and yours here at Roseland.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I find the whole 'sheep' thing hilarious... but yeah, at least sheep aren't bitter scavengers who rip and shred at people they don't know...

I thought it was a cute picture.

    ;)

  19. Ahhhhhh....Rose....love when you tease us to be ready...

*I Believe* mentioned that she hopes Rob will be featured in BD...I hope so too. It would be great to wrap up the
Twilight series with Rob's music...just one little song.

Would also LOVE to see Edward singing or playing the piano to Renesmee...with Bella looking on....

Hope everyone has a happy day...let's pray that the powers that be keep 'ICKY' in check.

  20. Katy,

Do you understand what this Hindia person is saying?

How have you been? This is my last week working so I'm doing half days.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Rose- riddle me this...you have been around this fandom a lot longer.

What is with calling us ducks as well? Never figured that one out. Maybe I am just missing the obvious here.

    _________________

Sydney- the sticky one is off her rocker for sure. I got a chuckle when I saw her tweet "I'm back"- it sounded like something out of the movie "Chucky"!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hope,

I agree with you on the music. In the books, Edward's music played a big part. I don't know why they haven't incorporated that more into the movies especially since Rob is a musician. Perhaps he feels that would be manipulative and doesn't want to do it. It's too bad if that is the case.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Melinda- Bwahahaha @Ducks! Yes... you must consider the source at ALL times. It makes no sense.
    NONSENSE.

    Typical Hyena :))

    ReplyDelete
  24. Rose,

I can only speak for myself when I say the suspense is killing me...how much longer must we wait???

I do take consolation in the fact that they are together and happy....

Here's hoping the sticky one is in a padded room somwhere, at least someplace where she cannot spread any of her venom....and as for Ikky, that she realize life is too short, to spend it being so miserable...

Wishing everyone at Roseland a day filled with joy and laughter...and especially love, lots and lots of love...

    ReplyDelete
  25. Penny...

I'm fine but a little tired today...lots of work
I thought that you would work until December?!

I understand a little...little bit of italian...she's saying something like 'it sucks' or 'that sucks'...I am assuming she´s referring to Rose's post

    ReplyDelete
  26. Rose- that goes without saying! Did you see that cheesy manip she did of ducks at the mental hospital?

I got a laugh at it, all the while thinking that if she is going to make manips to make fun of people she should at least make sure the ratio is right!!!

Alas she is not known for making good manips so I shouldn't expect much out of her.

    and Hi Rose.

You melted my heart today just like Rob and Kristen melt into each others arms.
I love the way he looks at her, he is smitten with her.. it's adorable.

I miss them but I'm sure they are practicing their honeymoon scenes..lol... and also getting to know Renesmee. I'm sure they are both taken with her, she's beautiful and can definitely be their child.

Fish in a dishwasher? LOL! This is a story I have to hear!

    ReplyDelete
  43. There is no great story to tell. I was with friends, it was late and all there was in the freezer was some breaded fish, broccoli and rice. It was VERY late and well, we were a bit inebriated. So my friend said you could cook fish in the dishwasher. We gave it a go but it fell apart and the broccoli and rice went everywhere and fell onto the heating coils and then, well, then there was a small fire.

It would have been much easier to just order pizza but it was a good idea at the time. I still think it makes sense--like steaming things--but you would need to put it all in some sort of sturdy container.

    ReplyDelete
  44. This comment has been removed by the author.

  45. SuperRN

Yep, I was born in a litter! LOL

We are girl, boy, girl--completely fraternal.

We come from a big family and I've always been a triplet so I guess I don't know what the difference would be either way.

As a kid, I hated sharing my birthday. As an adult, we HAVE to be together on birthdays or it doesn't feel right.

Let's see--I'm the runt of the litter with green eyes. We don't really look alike. My brother is tall and handsome with blue eyes and my sister is tall and beautiful with brown eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Syd

Okay, I can sorta see the steaming theory.

    Sorta. LOL

Next time don't drink and cook! Pizza is your friend.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Syd - LMAO!Yes, you are supposed to put it in a container first :) It's still not as daft as my hubby trying to grill burgers in the toaster, burning himself and setting the kitchen on fire at the same time though!! OH and he wasn't drunk either.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Syd,

I'm sorry, but have you never learned how to operate a microwave?

Seems like it would have been the obvious solution even to the inebriated.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I love the song as well. I just love him singing period. and I lvoe Kristens voice as well.

and if we are talking CD, I hope there is a duet as well. I just need to hear them sing togehter. at least once.

and I agree, I think Brazil will be pretty fun time for them

    *twirl you later*

    ReplyDelete
  50. Syd don't ever put a meat substance you want to eat after, in the dishwasher that's only for dirty dishes actually they need to be rinsed first because then all nasty food gets stuck to it after yucky.

Your stories are rather hilarious though, come around more, we miss you over here! and Liza REALLY misses you that I do know :)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Great post Rose. I miss them also and I am waiting for them to show their beautiful faces. I know they are happy just being together, and that gets me through each day. Hello to all Roselanders--love you guys. Take care, and I will see you tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Syd! lol!!!.....that is an awesome story I love it!

    bwahahahahhaha

    ReplyDelete
  53. See I knew this would start.
The microwave was unplugged so we could not cook it there.

And 30--the dishwasher was emptied so it wasn't like the fish was in there with the dirty stuff.

If it wouldn't have fallen apart and through the rack it would have been fine and probably delicious. I think our mistake was the rice and broccoli because that seems to have been tossed around in there and caused most of the trouble.

You know, you conventional cooks miss half the fun. When I was living in a small flat I used to live on toasted cheese made with my iron. They were delicious. But you did have to remember to clean off the iron and the board if you were going to use it for a shirt or pants or it would leave greasy smudges on the clothing.

See and I think burgers in the toaster makes perfect sense. I bet it can be done....hmmmmm

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hello beautiful Liza--

Tell me you have experimented with some interesting ways to cool along the way in your life?

I see you as the daring type of gal.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Hello my wonderful handsome Syd, the apple of my eye......(I love that saying...god knows what it means)

I have had many cooking disasters, though none as amusing as yours. I did set my toaster on fire once though with a cheeky stray raisin...and I also set my oven on fire once by turning it on and leaving the grill pan inside, complete with plastic handle.

I love funny little drunken stories....I am sure you have many more to share. I would be disappointed if you didn't...

    ;-)

    *Kisses*

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hmmmm...fish in a dishwasher...crazy Brit! I say that with affection.

I have set the kitchen on fire (had to redo the wallpaper) cooking stir fry so I know how it goes.

You live and you learn and then just order take out/eat out!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Syd I will have to try cooking like that sometime myself! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Syd,

I am laughing so hard right now :) Once upon a time in a galaxy far far away I thought it would be a wonderful idea to cook a egg (shell and all) in the microwave.

Let me tell you...don't try this at home! It was fine until I opened the microwave door...then it exploded! I was picking egg and shell out of my hair for hours! Hehehe, live and learn ;)

    ReplyDelete
  59. Love that song love the lyrics, totally agree with you that we haven't seen nothin yet lol I belive the best is yet to come. Here's to waiting patiently...lol thanks Rose

    ReplyDelete
  60. Liza I did that also, putting the oven on with a plastic strainer in it.I have like no room in my lower shelves for all of them so I stick stuff in the oven when I am not using it.

I was like WTH is that smell, The smell of burning plastic is something that I will never ever forget. On top of that it took me months to scrape out that burnt plastic in my oven. What a pain in the ass that was!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Roberts Music is amazing, that's all I can say. I will be the first one buying his CD if he ever decided to share his beautiful voice with the world.

  63. 30, lol!

I have many tales I could tell of ridiculous things I have done...not all of them when I was drunk either.

I have never made a cheese toastie with an iron (I can see how that would work though, not much different to a panini press). However, I did once attempt to iron my hair when my straighteners had broken. Not the best idea I've ever had.....oh and I also once managed to iron over my hand when ironing and chatting on the phone at the same time and got blisters all over my fingers!

There are much worse stories than that which I wont go into on here!

    heh heh heh!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Iron to make a sandwich works, we used to do that all the time when I was in college and came home from partying. If you put a piece of foil between the iron and the bread, less grease on your clothes in case you forget what you did the night before and need to iron something quick.

Syd next time try cooking on the engine of your car...or a car...(just attempt it sober the first time)

    ReplyDelete
  65. I'd say, that while drunk, either order in or make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Nooooo not peanut butter and jelly...I had a friend who managed to stab himself in the hand while drunk trying to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich...order in...always order in...especially if you're not gifted in the kitchen.

  78. Hi 30!
    :)

I just had a doggie convention in my yard! One of the older guys in the neighborhood was walking his dog, my other neighbor let her dog out, and then with the dog next door, and MY dog is out here with me...

All the other dogs are chill and like "sup?" while my dog is running around like a lunatic. She's very excitable.

    (Instead of Sheep)

    When I'm worried and I can't sleep
I count my blessings instead of sheep

And I fall asleep counting my blessings

When my bankroll is getting small
I think of when I had none at all

And I fall asleep counting my blessings

I think about a nursery and I picture curly heads
And one by one I count them as they slumber in their beds

If you're worried and you can't sleep
Just count your blessings instead of sheep

And you'll fall asleep counting your blessings

  120. The Whiffenpoof Song

From the tables down at Mory's,
To the place where Louie dwells,
And the dear, old Temple Bar we love so well,

    Sing the Whiffenpoofs assembled,
With their glasses raised on high!
And the magic of their singing, casts a spell.

Yes the magic of their singing,
Of the songs we love so well:
"Shall I Wasting" and "Mavourneen" and the rest!

    We will serenade our Louie,
    Till health and voices fail,
And we'll pass and be forgotten with the rest.

    We are poor little lambs
    Who have lost our way,
    Baa! Baa! Baa!

    We are little, black sheep
    Who have gone astray!
    Baa! Baa! Baa!

Gentlemen, songsters, off on a spree,
    Doomed from here to eternity.
Lord! Have mercy on such as we,
    Baa! Baa! Baa!

  141. Practical Tax To Balance the Budget

We could balance the Federal Budget if we taxed sex. Everyone would pay their share.

Young people would pay more taxes and your tax liability would decrease as you got older.

The tax would also promote family values. How would you like to come home to your wife and have her ask, "Honey, why is your tax bill larger than mine?"

Or be a teenager and come home to your dad with your tax bill in his hand.

We wouldn't have to pay people to work for the IRS, they would be paying to work there just so they could review peoples returns.

Locker room conversations would change... "Get a load of this tax bill!"

The forms would change a little also. We would now have a 1040Quickee.

And it would give a whole new meaning to the phrase, "Substantial penalty for early withdrawal."

    More Vampires

Count Dracula is on the pull in London. He spends the night drinking Bloody Mary's in various clubs and biting on unsuspecting women's necks.

He is heading for home, wandering along Argyle street sometime before sunrise. Suddenly he is hit on the back of the head.

He looks round and sees nothing. He looks down and sees a small sausage roll. Mmmm, he thinks. What's going on here.

A few yards further on and ... BANG. Smacked on the back of the head again!

He whirls round as quick as he can, nothing. Again he looks down and there is a small triangular sandwich lying on the ground. How odd!!

A few yards further along the street and .... crash. Smacked on the back of the head again!!

He whirls round as quick as he can, nothing. He's getting really angry now. Again he looks down and there is a cocktail sausage lying on the ground. He stands and peers into the darkness of the night. Nothing.

He walks a few yards further on when he gets a tap on the shoulder. With a swirl of his cape and a cloud of mist he turns as fast as he can.

He feels a sharp pain in his heart. He falls to the ground clutching his chest, which is punctured by a small cocktail stick laden with a chunk of cheese and a pickle.

On the ground dying, he looks up and sees a young female. With his dying breath he gasps, "Who are you?"

She replies : "Buffet, the vampire slayer."

    Just The Way You Are

Don't go changing, to try and please me
You never let me down before

    Don't imagine you're too familiar
And I don't see you anymore
I wouldn't leave you in times of trouble
We never could have come this far

I took the good times, I'll take the bad times
I'll take you just the way you are

Don't go trying some new fashion
Don't change the color of your hair
You always have my unspoken passion
Although I might not seem to care

    I don't want clever conversation
I never want to work that hard
I just want someone that I can talk to
I want you just the way you are.

I need to know that you will always be
The same old someone that I knew
What will it take till you believe in me
The way that I believe in you.

I said I love you and that's forever
And this I promise from the heart
I could not love you any better
I love you just the way you are.

I really enjoy Robsten Angels on the AT Insider boards. Those folks are witty, fun, kind and will not tolerate any trolls or abuse of anything.

What a silly little girl I used to be....

There was a time when I didn't even know what men's underwear contained, regardless of if it wasn't.

At one time, it was considered very rude to stare at crotches and bottoms, but then again, they weren't advertised on television.

When tampon ads began to appear on TV I knew that other private things would soon follow-and here we are at the beginning again, with meds to aid the act of love, while watching porn. Things sure are perking up today.

People say I'm crazy doing what I'm doing
Well they give me all kinds of warnings to save me from ruin

When I say that I'm o.k. well they look at me kind of strange
Surely you're not happy now you no longer play the game

People say I'm lazy dreaming my life away
Well they give me all kinds of advice designed to enlighten me

When I tell them that I'm doing fine watching shadows on the wall
Don't you miss the big time boy you're no longer on the ball

I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on the merry-go-round
I just had to let it go

Ah, people asking questions lost in confusion
Well I tell them there's no problem, only solutions

Well they shake their heads and they look at me as if I've lost my mind
I tell them there's no hurry
I'm just sitting here doing time

I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on the merry-go-round

Put it on the one you've found, found, found
For you know that this is really love

Find a ring, put it on
For you know that this is really love, really love,
    Really love

  170. Dreamer,

My mom used to love Perry Como at some time in her life, and still has albums by him...I remember hearing that song...

I wanted to explain why I called her Miss Daisy the other day...
She loved watching movies with Jessica Tandy and especially "Driving Miss Daisy"
so now that my dad passed she counts on her kids to drive her around....so now we call her Miss Daisy.

  172. No R/K sightings. :/

I really do think that it won't be like Vancouver. I don't think there's going to be paparazzi, which is a good thing. But no sightings for a long, long time.

What a sweet story about your mother. I did wonder if that was what you meant by Miss Daisy. How is she doing these days?
