over Thanksgiving weekend..
No wonder Robsten much prefers hanging in the Valley! Kristen is always over there, and goes fairly unnoticed.
Stewart's parents live on the other side of the debauched Hollywood Hills, so we assume that's where R. and K. spent Thanksgiving. Because we hear they did spend it together.
Saturday is when there was another Rob sighting out in Hollywood.
What do I have to add to that?
Nothing.
Absolutely NOTHING.
We all kinda knew that Rob and Kristen were going
to spend Thanksgiving together...
In Los Angeles.
So that they were seen out and about is no surprise.
At all.

So what does it mean?
It means that Robert and Kristen like to go out to eat!
And sometimes they do it alone when they are in Los Angeles
spending the Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends.
And sometimes they go out with other castmates/friends
Needless to say.
Rob and Kristen are together.
No matter who they go out to lunch with.
No matter if there is a picture to document their every move.
No matter.

As I've said before, unbelievable logic.
If they eat out alone, then it's PR because they wanted to be seen. If they eat out with someone, then they aren't a couple because they aren't alone.
The only conclusion is to be a couple they can't ever eat.
I'm going to write a strongly worded letter to Summit's PR Department. I'm not even in PR, but even I know, when you're forcing your two lead actors into a PR relationship, they should have been papped at both airports. Should have been photographed out and about in L.A. Should have been photographed on her parent's front steps with an apron on, holding hands and smiling.
Summit is sleeping on the job. What a prime opportunity. And we got nothing? How could this be since Summit rules the world?

I've been to Roxy's Deli in Thousand Oaks, great pastrami sandwiches with cole slaw on top! And some bakery delights to drool over too.
And let me tell you, Roxy's Deli AIN'T a pr hangout. It's as low profile and away from wandering eyes as you can get.
Anyways, these kids laid low it seems good for them. No pictures means they had a great week!
No Jen, surely you're mistaken. Surely Roxy's Deli is akin to The Ivy in terms of celeb/photog hangouts. Otherwise, well, it just doesn't make any sense. Why would a PR couple go to a low profile, private, casual neighborhood deli on a Friday night???
So...according to the people who like to rant and rave...if you go out to eat with family, friends and coworkers and someone sees you...you're not a couple because you're eating with others....and if you and your significant other eat alone and no one takes a picture of the actual meal...you're not a couple.
My question is this...My husband and I ate out last week with his brother and our sister-in-law AND we've had dinner alone several times in the last 21 years and NO one has taken a picture of it to document our love...ARE WE A COUPLE?
People with that kind of logic don't know their ass from a hole in the ground and deserve no attention from anyone...even their imaginary friends. Seriously they need to get a life.

Thanks for the post, Rose, and for all of you writing your funny and sarcastic comments. It brightened my otherwise crappy day. I have two friends who keep telling me that Rob is a terrible actor like they are trying to force me to change my mind. So I was feeling quite put upon. Thanks, everyone :-)
Let me see if I got this right.. if it's just the two of them, it didn't happen. They didn't eat, didn't go out, aren't "together".
If they're out with co-workers, friends, family, it's all PR and they're still not "together".
But at least they get to eat during the PR lunches, right?
They're together, as in together together, and guess what crazy foamy people.. they're going to do stuff together. Just them. They have friends that the two of them together will hang out with. And wait for it.. they have family that the two of them, together, will visit and spend time with. (It's what happens when you're in a *gasp* relationship!!!)
I have no patience for the stupid foamers today.
And kudos, Summit, for having the best fucking PR firm EVER. You don't even have to do ANYTHING, and people are giving you complete credit for EVERYTHING.

Brenda, I know the feeling of friends not feeling the Rob love. Last week I had to have a minor procedure done in the hospital. So a nurse took me back to the "holding" area, where I was to wait in a wheelie-bed before being taken in for the surgery. So I scrambled up onto the wheelie-bed, turned around to settle in, and when I looked up, there, standing a few feet from the end of my bed, was Rob.
No, REALLY!!
Okay, it was actually the full-size cut-out of New Moon Edward, but still. ROB! Right there in the pre-surgery unit! They'd tied a surgical mask around his neck so that it hung down over his chest, and they'd stuck little blue paper booties over his cardboard feet. I just BURST out laughing. "What's Edward doing here?" I asked. The nurse said, "Oh, just hanging around." Every time I looked at him, I laughed. I just couldn't help it. I mean, he was RIGHT THERE -- at MY bed -- looking at me. I couldn't even worry about the impending surgery because...it was just too silly. I couldn't stop laughing!
When they finally took me back to the operating room, we wheeled past him, and I said, "Edward looks concerned." And the nurse said, "He looks like he's in pain to me." So you could tell she wasn't a fan, but blah to her, you know? (Everything went fine, btw!)
So later, I couldn't wait to tell my best friend about this, since not only is she a nurse herself, but she's the one who goes with me to see all the Twilight movies. But the first thing she said when I told her was, "Did they have one of Jacob?"
And I was like, "Who ARE you??"
I mean, seriously. (Sorta.) Jacob?? It's a wonder we can be friends at all. :D
So, now I understand why I'm starving!! I had lunch with my hubs, therefore I didn't eat. Oh,hang on though, that means we're not together.....but he says we are, so now I don't know what to think...maybe I should call Summit's PR dept for advice....

To the ladies who mentioned age, I too am older, and have gotten all caught up in their falling in love before our eyes. Love is not an age but a state of being, and I can see no reason not to dwell in its glow.

So, the comments yesterday and today have been a wealth of knowledge! Apparently the haters are still crazy as ever, & my gyno appointments are really boring compared to everyone else's. I'm not sure what a cheeky cervix is but I kinda wish I had one;) Also, I was sad to learn that even though the hubby & I are celebrating our 20th anniversary in a few weeks, apparently the fact that we've shared meals in restaurants with each other and...yes...on occasion even more people, means that we were never together. Damn! That just really sucks!

1 box red velvet cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 c oil
mix together, roll into balls, flatten, bake at 375/8-10 min.s
FROSTING
1 8oz cream cheese
1/4 stick softened butter2 tsp milk
4 cups powdered sugar mix together

How wonderful that the loving couple, Rob and Kristen, were able to have a peaceful Thanksgiving holiday away from the glare of the prying camaras. I certainly hope that the Christmas holidays will also be a sheltered respite for them, away from the public and filled with private time for each other, their family and friends.

I had seen RM at the theatre, then taped it on the DVR, but I really like the commentaries, deleted scenes and stuff like that, that's why I ordered it...This movie gets me everytime...so sad.
I actually spoke to someone who was at the World Trade Center that morning....Evidently there was a great bakery on the first floor, and this woman would go there every morning with her husband for coffee and danish...she was there a couple of hours before the first plane hit...
I agree, it is an excellent movie, that is very moving.
What a close call for that lady and the quirks of fate are always at work, aren't they?
There's a young man, a friend of Brand's, who was in the Army and at the Pentagon when the plane crashed into it. They did recovery and clean up right after it. He's not quite recovered, I don't think, yet.

And today my friends are pestering me about our itinerary and the budget for our next conquest.
For new Moon I ordered it on VOD at midnight, then went out and bought the DVD the next day...I have not heard if Eclipse will be on VOD, so I guess I might just have to wait for Sat for that one.

That makes me happy that the forests are protected from loggers in your country.
When I lived in the Pacific Northwest, along the highways, the tree line was only 50 feet deep, beyond that everything was logged and gone. This went on for miles and miles. It was so sad.
Of course, they were not rainforests but I hope we have made some progress here in the past 15 years, don't know.

Ted Allen's Spiced Bourbon Tea
1 tea bag, Earl Grey or black tea
2 star anise pods
5 cardamom pods
2 oz. Maker's Mark or other high quality bourbon
1 oz. simple syrup
1 orange slice
a. Place tea bag and spices in a large mug. Fill with 6 ozs. of boiling water. Steep for 3-5 minutes, then remove tea bag.
b. Leave spices for another 10 minutes. Remove spices.
c. Add bourbon and simple syrup. Stir lightly. Garnish w/orange slice.
There's no doubt about it....you would be the fun gal...
