Who does this person think they are?
Who fucking makes threats like this?
Seriously... Who DOES this?
I still don't get why people think Kristen is out to ruin Rob's career.
How does that make sense in any way?
How does leaking a year old Christmas Pic hurt WFE?
Why would Kristen need to make up rumors about Rob?
Why would she want to hurt him or his family?
How does this help her career?
And where does Rob fit into all this?

Frosted Pecan Butter Cookies

1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup chopped pecans
LEMON FROSTING:
2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon butter, melted
2 drops yellow food coloring (optional)
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and confectioners' sugar; beat in milk. Combine flour and cornstarch; gradually add to creamed mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until easy to handle.
Roll dough into 1-in. balls. Dip each ball halfway into pecans. Place nut side down 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten slightly. Bake at 350 degrees F for 13-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool. In a small bowl, combine frosting ingredients until smooth. Frost cooled cookies.

ReplyDeleteI've always wondered if Rob had dated Nikki or Ashley or anyone else if they would get this level of hate. And honestly, I really don't think so. But I think it's mostly because of her - I don't even know what to call it...charisma? She's mysterious, interesting, intriguing, etc. All these people pretend they hate her, but they are flat out obsessed with her. There is something about her, that others' just don't have. A je ne sais quoi. People just can't stop talking about her.

And that is what is so threatening about her. She has his attention and devotion, and is quite capable of keeping it. She has the longevity potential and the longer Rob is smitten (or "pussy-whipped"), the more she'll get hate for it.
The crazies who spout threats and nonsense are only doing so because they are utterly powerless to stop it. They can change nothing.
I think it is crazy how these "grown ass woman" think that Robert Pattinson is going to someday come to their house and ring their bell and propose to them. They are lunatics in the highest degrees. First, the threats need to really be address by the sites that post the dumbness. Second, if Rob's parents truly were upset about the picture being leaked because they don't like Kristen, why the hell would the pose in a pic with Kristen in the first place. 100g unsalted butter, softened
70g granulated sugar
50g light muscovado sugar
1 large egg
140g plain flour
50g porridge oats
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda
100g dried ready-to-eat apples, roughly chopped
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/fan160°C/gas 4. Lightly grease 2-3 non-stick baking sheets. Put the butter and sugars into a large bowl and cream together using an electric hand whisk until pale, light and fluffy. Gradually beat in the egg until mixed together.
2. In a bowl, mix the flour, oats, cinnamon, bicarbonate of soda and a good pinch of salt. Lightly fold this into the butter and egg mixture, along with the dried apples, until just combined into a dough.
3. Put tablespoonfuls of the dough onto the baking sheets, spaced apart to allow for some spreading. Bake for 12 minutes, leave to cool, dust with icing sugar.

It isn't just Rob fans that think that way. I'm on tumblr and I've seen so many blogs run by Kristen fans who think Kristen is gay. But they don't just think shes gay. They believe that she is staying in the closet for Summit and is forcing herself to go on dates with Rob. And some hate Rob too. Just saying they are the ones that have made ridiculous pictures with Kristen looking replused with Rob. They're nonstens too. And I'm not trying to defend the other haters with this comment. I've seen some Rob fans make hateful comments about Kristen being gay too on tumblr. I'm just surprised no one though has spoken out much about these other "nonstens" yet. There are so many of them on tumblr now and they all share the same belief. Rob and Kristen are friends and Kristen is gay and doing PR for Summit.

These people make themselves WAY too important. Like Rob and Kristen care what they say or do unless it is an actual physical threat. Hopefully they take those seriously if they are alerted to them. Everything else out there is just plain laughable because it is so absurd.
Scary that most of these people are adult women, some married and some mothers. I feel pity for their husbands/so b/c they will never measure up to the Rob fantasy these women have created. And their children, what are they teaching them?
Glad Rob and Kristen are out there somewhere enjoying their life together hopefully unaffected by all the crazy.

Today’s recipe is for holiday-friendly French cookies called "palmiers" that are made with puff pastry, cinnamon sugar and a little butter. The cookies may appear difficult make, but the recipe is actually simple. The name "palmier" refers to the fact that the cookies end up looking like tops of palm trees.
Ingredients:
4 tbs of butter
1/3 cup white sugar
1 tbs ground cinnamon.
2 sheets of puff pastry
Flour
Procedure:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and melt 4 tbs of butter in a small pot. Make the cinnamon sugar in a small mixing bowl by combining 1/3 cup white sugar with 1 tbs ground cinnamon.
Plan ahead and defrost 1 box, or 2 sheets, of puff pastry in the fridge overnight. Lay those out on a floured work surface, sprinkle a little more flour over the top and use a rolling pin to roll them out into longer and thinner rectangles.
Next, use a pastry brush to divide the melted butter over both sheets and then evenly sprinkle a generous amount of the cinnamon sugar.
Starting along one long side, tightly roll the puff pastry halfway and then tightly roll the other side towards the middle.
Cut the rolled up pastry crosswise into ½-inch thick slices and carefully transfer them to parchment paper-lined baking trays, flat side down. Leave an inch or two inches between each cookie.
Sprinkle a little of the remaining cinnamon sugar over the top of the cookies and place the trays into the preheated oven.
The cookies will take just about 15 minutes to bake and the trays should be switched from top to bottom halfway through.

Here's my (non chocolate) cookie contribution for the day :)
Cinnamon Roll Pinwheels
Cinnamon Mixture
4 Tbs granulated sugar
1 Tbs ground cinnamon
Cookie Dough
1 cup butter flavor crisco all vegetable shortening
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1. For cinnamon mixture, combine granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon in a small bowl; mix well. Set aside.
2. For cookie dough, combine 1 cup shortening and brown sugar in large bowl. Beat at medium speed with electric mixture until well blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla until well blended.
3. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and 2 teaspoon cinnamon in small bowl. Add to creamed mixture; mix well.
4. Turn dough onto sheet of waxed paper. Spread dough into 9X6-inch rectangle using rubber spatula. Sprinkle with 4Tbs cinnamon mixture to within 1 inch of edges. Roll up jelly-roll style into log. Dust log with remaining cinnamon mixture. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap; refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
5. Heat oven to 375. Spray cookie sheets with non stick cooking spray.
6. Slice dough 1/4 inches thick. Place on prepared cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 8 minutes or until lightly browned on top. Cool on cookie sheets 4 minutes; transfer to cooling racks.

ReplyDeleteThis was an amazing, perfect post today. I have seen comments such as these, directed at both Rob and Kristen but mostly Kristen. I truly do not understand the mentality of these people. I always wish and hope these "fans" are very young, but sadly many of them are adults, some even with children. I honestly cannot fathom what they think they will achieve by any of this. Rob's undying love and devotion? yeah, right.
I do think that if we added up the IQ's of these lovely folk, it would not break 80! As a fan of Rob, I am truly glad he has such a wonderful, talented, bright, beautiful person in his life. I have come to truly care about Kristen is a way (since I obviously don't know her). But as a mother of two sons, I know I would be thrilled for them to have such a caring person by their sides. To wish or think of anything else is maddness.

Prep time 45 min.-Bake 8 min.-350F
1/3 c. butter,softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp.salt
2 eggs
1 tsp.vanilla
2 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1 3/4 c. slivered almonds, toasted and ground-about 7 oz.
3 oz white chocolate, chopped
1 T shortening
1/3 c. cinnamon candies, crushed
1/3 c. coarse decorating sugar
preheat oven 350. line large baking sheet w/parchment paper.
In mixing bowl,beat butter on high 30 sec, add sugar, beat until combined.Beat in baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
In med bowl combine flour and almonds.Beat as much flour mixture,as you can into butter mixture.Stir in remaining flour mixture.
On lightly floured surface roll or pat dough to 14x7 inch rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick. Cut in half, making two 14 x 3 1/2 inch rectangles. Cut crosswise in 1/2 inch wide sticks. Use a metal spatula to xfer to baking sheets, placing 1 inch apart. Bake 8-10 min or until firm and edges are lightly browned.Cool on baking sheets 1 min. then xfer to cooling rack.
In heavy saucepan melt chocolate and shortening over low heat, stirring constantly.In wide shallow bowl, combine crushed candies and sugar. Dip sticks in chocolate then in candy mixture.Place on waxed paper to set. Makes 56 cookies.
To store. Place cookies separated between waxed paper, in airtight container at room temperature up to 3 days.

Where is the logic behind Kristen Stewart leaking pics? I'm confused aren' these the same haters who've been sqawking about Kristen being such a terrible gf because she never wants to acknowledge Rob and their relationship, and now they've got Kristen as a famewh*re leaking pics?? That doesn't exactly JIBE with all of Rob's co-stars in his other movies, including Bel Ami, AND WFE, and one Reese Witherspoon, bringing up KRISTEN'S NAME to the media, when Kristen hasn't said a word. It's Rob, co-stars of Rob, friends of Rob, and family of Rob, who have always ALWAYS brought up Kristen and told the world essentially that they're together...so I think it's HiLARIOUS, that these sick twisted toxic bishes have done a 180, and now want to accuse Kristen of pimping them out. Hahahaha.

ReplyDeleteI feel fortunate at the moment. I don’t visit many sites on the internet, so I remain blissfully ignorant of the degree of lunacy out there. For my own sanity, I almost need to believe that the hate is limited to a small, albeit vocal, minority. It’s too depressing to think that there are a lot of people out there who are so angry, so hateful.
You know, as others have pointed out, the internet is a mixed blessing. It has opened up a world of possibilities, allowing people, like members of this board to forge friendships they wouldn’t have made otherwise, and it provides access to an astonishing wealth of information. On the flip side, it serves to feed some people’s fantasies and obsessions. Those inclined, can follow the objects of their likes /dislikes like never before. They can live and breathe their fantasies all day if they want, and meet up with other like-minded people. It can be a breeding ground for hate.
I really believe that the best thing that could be done for the some of the people in this fandom is to take away their access to the internet. If they aren’t immersed in the environment all the time – constantly exposed to flood of Rob/Kristen news, the multitude of pictures, and the vitriol of others – then perhaps they might regain some proper perspective on life. I believe they would be happier in the long run and the world would be a much saner, and possibly safer place.
Enough with the soapbox.

In the overall scheme of things though, we’ve gotten off much easier than some other parts of Canada and the States.

ReplyDeleteWhere to begin. I didn't feel right posting about twilight stuff since I have not seen any of the movies.
Miss Rose, I feel so bad about all the nasty stuff you are receving.
Where do all these crazies come from? With so many hollywood couples breaking up, we should be thankful or I should say the crazies should be thankful that Rob and Kristen are together.
I was reminded by a friend of mine, whom almost became my x friend about Johnny Depp and Wynnoa Rider. How their relationship didn,t last for too long after they made Edward scissorhands.
I had to point out to her that Rob and Kisten Have been together for more than 4 years. (Am I right?)
Then she told me to calm down killer. Not sure what she meant by that. She just wanted to remind me that yes they are couple, but only time will tell if their relationship will last.
Well we can only pray and hope that they will be like Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate. Lasting forever.
To Roseland, thank you soooooooooooo much for your cookie recipes. They have been the talk of the office.Considering I don't bake. Again, thank you.

ReplyDeleteThat song -- Merry Christmas Darling -- reminds me of the love of my life. He looked just like Chad Lowe when he played Jesse in Life Goes On. We had been together from 1984-1992, but hit a rough patch and broke up. I ended up marrying the wrong man but "Jesse" and I never lost touch and never really stopped loving each other. I always missed him the most at Christmas time, and this song would really make my heart ache.
On New Year's Eve 2004 I was entertaining and trying to hide my miserable marriage from my guests when this song came on. I slipped upstairs, crying my eyes out, and called "Jesse." He sounded very tired and weak, and said he thought he might have the flu. After wishing each other a Happy New Year, he told me he never stopped loving me, and wished we could have another chance. I told him I felt the same way and we made plans to get together on January 4th to talk. When I told him that a Carpenters song made me call, he said he loved me despite my atrocious taste in music.
Four days later, as I was on my way to meet him, I stopped to answer the phone. It was his brother, tellimg me that "Jesse" had had a heart attack that morning and died. He had been coming back from the store -- evidentally he had gone out to buy me the Carpenters Christmas Album CD, which they found on the floor where he had collapsed.
Everytime I hear that song, I tell that story to someone new. First of all because I have to explain why I am crying. But more importantly, I hope that anyone who hears it will realize that we never have as much time as we think, and we have to make the most of it.
This makes the 33rd time I've told it since 2004 -- thank goodness its a seasonal song.

If Rob dated Nikki or Ashley or any other woman, they wouldn't have such a huge reaction cuz they would think that they're better than the girl in some way. When it comes to Kristen, they (subconsciously) know that they don't stand a chance cuz Kristen is Goddamn PERFECT!!~ Kristen has ALL what a man wants!!~ Gorgeous face, great body, flawless skin, creamy long legs, and most importantly, acting and musical talents, intelligence, maturity, genuineness, self-assurance, a nice and caring heart, a sweet and yet strong personality, etc. A PERFECT MATCH with Rob I'd say. If I was her man, I'd never let her go.
So those haters could do nothing other than spread their jealousy and bitterness all over the web. And all these things they do just have an opposite effect. Rob is more protective of Kristen b/c the existence of the hate. Don't we always hear from the reports that Rob is an attentive BF?

Did I tell you two mopes, that my heat went off for over two hours last night? It was getting cold in here (around 6am) and so I poked around looking for the problem.
ReplyDeleteBeing the techno wiz that I am, I set and reset the digital thermometer to no avail.
Then I went to look at the junction box (?) and nothing.
So, I decided to take a real chance and I flipped the furnace switch off and then on.
Sure, you know the ending, the heat came on.
But Sherlock Holmes is needed, for why did it switch off to begin with, for what cause and will it do so when I least expect it (yes, it will for sure)?
I was already getting excited about staying at a local hotel, swimming in the pool and having continental breakfast, on my landlord, until the dang furnace kicked on.
Maybe it will blow on the coldest day of winter, if I am lucky.
