1. The Italian Vanity Fair.
THIS is what the cover should have been for the US version.
Not some silly Boy George looking guy with an alligator
Robert is so fucking beautiful.
It's so hard to mess it up.
Near impossible.
But honestly...
They did a pretty good job of it.
2. I was going through my emails
(I know, I know... I'm a glutton for punishment.)
And I just want to comment on the AT boards.
Again.
Now.
I know there are some sane and rational people
who post over there regularly.
(The few... the proud.)
But what I find really amusing
is that certain factions of this fandom
use the AT comments as some sort of barometer
into what the true fan is thinking.
Really?
They take all these frenzied comments by anonymous posters
and then label them 'shippers' and 'sheep'
And all the while its probably the same one or two
delusional posters who post the same sorry shit day after day.
In fact...
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Hatestens are the ones
planting these ludicrous comments in the first place...
And then trying to pin the lunacy on 'shippers'.

(insert comments that they probably posted)
Personally...
I didn't see anyone getting upset over anything.
Now, granted...
I make a point of not following the lunatic fringe
that exists on both sides of this fandom...
But no.
No one was panicking over a magazine interview.
In fact...
From where I sit... its all smooth sailing ahead.

I haven't looked forward to a movie this much since...
Twilight.
Well... Twilight was my peak in terms of these movies so far.
And by 'these' movies...
I mean ALL Robert and Kristen movies.
I don't think anything will live up to the Twilight hype
I was totally OBSESSED with both Robert/Edward
and that damn movie.
I can't even tell you how many times I watched that bitch.

Like more than once a day.

what is an AT board? But anyways I am more of a Kristen fan than Robert but adore them both, so i avoid going to gossip cop or any of those kind of sites because i dont want to read all of the hate that Kristen gets from hatestens and whatever.

I reluctantly have to agree that the new Vanity Fair picture is not my favourite (my issue is with the concept not the subject), although the picture inside the magazine of Rob at the piano is brilliant. That to me, is Rob. It reminds me of the Twilight piano scene which is one of my favourites.
I don’t read Lainey’s stuff except when I come upon it by accidental, but she truly is a waste of space on this earth. She and Ted never do seem to get their act together, do they? It’s comical.

You made me very happy with the third picture and yes, they were incredibly close! You know, they were filming here in my country, Brazil, Rio, Paraty, an idyllic place, perfect for Bella and Edward, but even more perfect for Rob and Kris! And they seized the moment, believe me! I saw the footage of BD and saw how they were comfortable, loving and very happy, holding hands, hugging, laughing and playing and looking lovingly at all times, in front of the cameras and behind the camera ... WOW! I will never forget these days ... it was heaven!
So I appreciate the picture, because I remembered all over again, I was happy and smiling, like you!

I can't believe they got that picture and we got that stupid alligator picture WTF is up with that I ask. Not that Rob isn't beautiful in any picture taken of him but that whole alligator thing was just so dumb looking. If the whole thing was they wanted to get a picture of him with an animal because it was a WFE shoot why didn't they use Tai the elephant or use that giraffe it would have been much more awesome.

First...Smitty, I realize that I owe you an apology for snapping at you the last day I was on the blog. I was wrong to snap at you like I did and I hope you will accept my apology.I was sick, frustrated and angry at my husband for making such a boneheaded move. I am truly sorry. I was in the process of apologizing when I read Syd's comments.
Secondly....I want to make a few comments regarding Syd's over the top response to me. First and foremost....I NEVER ONCE said that the troll had threatened me...NOT ONCE. Whoever told you that was wrong. I NEVER said my husband was worried about his friend's wife...I said my husband was worried about 'HIS' wife..meaning me. I was in the hospital, if you choose to not believe that...I can't force you. It is the truth, I owe you nothing more than that. I also would like to stress this: I DO NOT CARE if you understand why my husband did what he did...it matters not one iota to me...your opinion of me is as low as possible and has been from the beginning and I have NO idea as to why and gave up caring. You have made your decision about me and I have made mine about you...that is the way things are and I wish you the best of luck! Please note...I will not be reading any responses on the blog...if you choose to attack again.
Thirdly....Forgive me Penny for doing this but I feel like I need to.....LIZA...YOU owe Penny an apology...she HAD NO IDEA and truthfully NEITHER DID I...that you had said anything harsh to me. Neither one of us has ever thought you were anything other than a very sweet, wonderful person..and that opinion has not changed. If she had meant you, she would have said you and I think you were unfair in your response to that.
Now having said all of the above...thank you to everyone who has been kind to me...and even those who have not. There is only one person I leave this blog disliking...and for those of you guessing...NO it's not the Troll, I hate the troll's tactics and choice of victim...but at times I found them funny and it amused me to engage them in a fight.

Hope - Disney sounds wonderful. It's always a winner with the kids (young and older). I haven't decided what I'm doing for vacation, although I suspect I'll spend some time visiting my folks in Montreal.

ReplyDeleteI unfortunately have too go too work soon, but I will be back. And am SO waiting for Roses post today.:) I was literally peeing myself at her tweets last night. Along with the CRAZY ASSES and there paranoid conspiracys over the leaked pics. And there were so so many crazy deluions out there.
I was OK with the first 3 or so pics. (I mean I am a Twi fan at heart )and Summit has given us nothing too fan on the past few months. But I do think its messed up the hole movie was leaked in pics. Poor BC, all his unedited work over the net.I just hope we dont pay for it and be punished in editing. LOL Because HOT DAM! :) PLEASE keep ALL of that Summit!! The fan base is happy as anything right now. Remember we are not all 12.
