Rob and Kristen- Together in Toronto

Well damn.
I feel like I haven't posted in days.
Oh wait.
I haven't.

Oh stop.
I still am madly and passionately intoxicated with Robert.
I honestly don't see that changing anytime soon.
In fact.
The more I see.
The more I know.
The more I love him.

Not much to talk about really...
Yeah.
I know.
I could mock the Nonsense.
But even that gets boring and tedious.
And besides...
It seems that they have enough people out there
mocking and laughing at them.
Do I need to add to the pointing and jabbing?
Nah.

Of course I've often said that Nonsense is obsolete.
And it's never been more true than it has been lately.
At every turn they are getting their theories crushed.
I was getting all sorts of shouty ALL CAPS emails
telling me
"HAHAHAHAHA ROSEE! ROB AND KRISTEN WON'T BE
TOGETHER AGAIN UNTIL BD1 COMES OUT!'

Right.
And we all know where Kristen is.
And where Robert is.
And oh my
what a shock!
They.
Are.
TOGETHER.

That's all I need to really say at this point.
You just can't keep those two love addicted kids apart!
Imagine that!
Imagine being so in love with someone...
that after you were apart from them for more than a few days...
that you couldn't fucking WAIT to see him again.
Isn't it normal to have missed the man you love?
Isn't it natural to want to spend as much time as possible with him?
Why would anyone blame her for wanting to be with him?
Do they not remember the passion of young love?
The desire and need to be together at all costs?
Nothing else mattered more than being
TOGETHER.

Seriously.
Get fucking used to it.

So Rob starts Cosmopolis in or around May 24th.
No clue if there are other obligations before that date.
Kristen...
Looks like shes up in Toronto.
Setting up house.
;)

Does that mean she won't be going back and forth
between L.A. and Toronto?
Of course not.
She has upcoming projects I'm sure she will need to work on.
But it does seem...
That Rob and Kristen are spacing out their projects
and trying to time them so while one is working...
The other isn't...
I'm actually looking forward to Kristen starting SWATH
Imagine Rob and Kristen hanging out in Europe.
Oh yeah.

That's what people who are in love do...
they work on their relationship
they figure out what is best for each other...
and for them to spend the least amount of time apart.
Gotta admit...
After over 2 years of this...
They certainly have gotten something right.
Right?

You know that it's true.
:))

Anything else?
Hmmmm.

Rob talks about adopting Bear.
Bear is with Kristen in NYC
Kristen and Bear go to Toronto...
Rob flies out of Australia and ends up in...
of all places.
Toronto!

Makes sense, doesn't it?

I love this picture... and hate it.
I love it because Tom is protective of Kristen.
He looks worried as he talks to someone (Rob) on the phone...
Keeping Kristen close...
I hate it because of the look on Kristen's face.
Right into the fucking camera.
Like...
"When is it EVER enough for you??"

Rob recently said he hates Twitter because people
pull out their phones and do sneaky pictures
and tweet his location for the whole world to see.
And I have to agree.
If you love Robert...
Hell...
if you just like the guy...
Would it kill you to wait to tweet about him
and where you saw him?
Would it?
Just wait until he's safely gone.
Keyword? Safely.
Don't you look at Robert...
and see someone who just wants to have dinner
or who just wants to walk down the street
and not be harassed and chased and screamed at?
Don't you see that?
Don't steal his soul.
Don't steal his picture.
Don't tell the world where he is
and ruin his evening....
Just let him be.
You can talk about it later.
You can still say you saw Robert and/or Kristen.
Just wait.
OK?

This post is brought to you by the letters *J* and *T*

J for Just Because.

T for TOGETHER
They always end up that way...
Don't they?
Yes.
Yes they do.

Bye for now

  1. Ph just in time for new post..
Loved it Rose.. and I so agree with you on the titter thing..
it's kinda sad that people just have nothing to do but tweeting where they are...or wait for people who tweeted about it to post some blurry pic...
    just.. insane...

    Have a good day Roseland.
    I'm off to bed..

  3. So Rob and Kristen are in Toronto. I hope they are enjoying themselves. It has been a beautiful, sunny day here in the Greater Toronto Area – if only a bit cool – but quite glorious. I hope they enjoyed it together after their time apart. Hopefully Rob will have some down time in between any pre-production work for Cosmopolis. Any hope of them getting privacy has already been pretty much busted. I just had the TV on and that lovely person Lainey (note the sarcasm) just informed everyone on national TV where in Toronto they are likely staying. She is a piece of work….. As you said Rose, I hope people will give them some space and some consideration by not tweeting locations…

Linda – it was really nice to see you duck in last night. Your son sounds like a wonderful young man, and you have every reason to be proud.

I’ve seen footage of the flooding in the southern states on the news and heard that Tennessee, amongst over states, was getting flooded. Rhonda and Linda, and anyone else in that vicinity, I hope you are all safe and well.

dottie – I forgot to wish you well on your move. I hope all goes well.

Annie – the “thank you card” you posted earlier was really cute. I definitely agree on the chocolate and cats part…Oh and the remote control part too….

I hope everyone has a good rest of day. Talk to you later.

  4. Nice post Rose!

I hope they are having some fun and that people leave them alone. Bear is so cute, I miss my dog :)

Do you know what I thought when I saw that last pic...hmmm Tom has nice arms...lol.

    Much love to everyone,
    Liza

  5. It was a lovely post!
YEAH TOGETHER, they are ALWAYS TOGETHER.
    It NOT IF it's WHEN.
Whenever they can, they are together.Nothing can tear RK apart,bc what they have is REAL and STRONG!

    XO from Brazil

    AND PLEASE DON'T TWEET LOCATIONS!!!

  6. Nice post!
Very succinctly & accurately put! :)

Its simple really. For at least 2 years now, if neither are working they are usually together, if just one is working, they are usually together, and if both are working they try to keep the separations brief and are always together again soon! Its really not complicated or hard to comprehend for those of us with functioning brains! Lol

Hope Rob, Kristen & cute lil Bear enjoy themselves in Toronto! Hopefully Rob gets at least a few days of quality down time before jumping into cosmopolis & gets to enjoy his birthday with his girl.

Hope u are all having a good start to the week! I already can't wait for the weekend! That's what work fuckery does to u! Lol!

  7. Someone was asking me about Rob reconnecting with his friend from facebook...They were wondering if Rob ever had a facebook because there are apparently some screencaps from a facebook under Randle Patrick Mcmurphy and it was supposedly Rob's. Was it really his? If it was that Gules girl sounds awful... Anyways R/K are together like always...:)

    ReplyDelete
  8. Rose...it makes sense to me too...together in Toronto sounds like a wonderful plan. Just so happy for the 3 of them....let's hope they can enjoy some time off even for a few weeks.

  9. I just read Reese's interview with You magazine. She said I know his girlfriend (Twilight's Kristen Stewart) really well and he met my husband...just wonder if all nonstens brain start putting Reese in this Summit's PR saga....I bet that's what in their brain when they read that! Some people are just so crazy and unbelievable!

  10. Night Fio - if you're still here.

Liza - funny that you would notice that picture and those arms... Hmmm. LOL

Groovie - hope you are well.

Hey Hope - did you have a nice mother's day. I'm guessing your husband didn't need any suggestions/reminders.

  11. Hello Liza, Fio, Freddie, Groovie, RKS and anyone else that sneaks in while I'm typing this!

RobLovesKristenLovesRob - how wonderful for them to have found each other in this often crazy world. :)

Happy almost Tuesday Rose and Roseland!

  12. Rose, It all sounds like a pefectly normal relationship to me. You work around each other's schedule. You're only going to find anything strange about that if your own life is dysfunctional. I really hope people are respectful and considerate, it would be really nice if they could continue to have some peace and quiet while they're up there. Although I do miss Bear :)

Liza - LOL! Nice arms indeed:)

  13. Well I just have just spent an hour of my life defending the crap out of WFE, it seems I was a defense attorney in another life maybe?

Anyway a disgusting video is about supposedly with Tia being abused in training from about 5 years ago and she is still with the same owners now. Not good at all, my issue is pl trying too get WFE boycotted it's not fair we all know how Rob and the cast love that Elephant and would never condone anything like that if they new but people are using this movie too get attention for this and asking others too boycott.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Well said Rose!

Is it really too much for people to be respectful & considerate?!
They must realize the minute they tweet Rob (& Kristen's) location.. People will descend.. Not to mention the Papz!!

They lose sight of the big picture -that they are a young couple in love, trying to live a 'normal' life in extraordinary circumstances!
I truly hope they can have some peace whilst in Toronto!

..and it's SO nice knowing they are together again ;)

  15. Hi, Rose!! lovely post

I hope Rob, Kristen and the adoraable Bear will have some time to relax and enjoy themselves in Toronto before he start working for Cosmopolis. Hopefully without people bothering them!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

    Be happy and stay safe

  16. Hey 30, Tigerlily, Angelica, Liza, Kay and Katy - I hope you are all well.

30 - this is sad on a couple of levels. I hope the story is not true, but I also hope that the movie isn't boycotted either. I know that the Humane Society that was on set has confirmed that there was no issue of abuse there and I believe that.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I remember in one of Rob's interviews he says that there are always ways to hide. Gosh I hope he and Kristen find some peace and quiet during this down time. The nonnies are at it, Rob seen walking Bear without Kristen and of course that means SHE has left. LMAO for that one. The poor guy can't walk his dog? Just imagine if all these people turned their hate into good what an effect it would have.
Great post as always Rose! Keep telling it like it is.

  18. Good Evening Roseland....'Arma has been working against me the last 24 hour..(And I didn't even do anything bad)! Lol... While I was on my trip the roller ball on my Blackberry broke so I couldn't even check the blog...then I get home and my laptop Google thingy is messed up so I could see the posts but I couldn't post anything....sooo...now my cell phone is fixed so that's what I'm using!!! I see SMITTY dropped by...and all seems to be in good form here...I hope all Roseland mothers (including mothers of pets, as well....heh...had a wonderful day yesterday! ROB...I believe that your birthday is coming up this week!!!!! Enjoy and we love you!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Oops...I meant "karma"....ROSE...I love the new header! NICE!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hi ROSE & Roseland Buds!

It's unbelievable to me that there are STILL people who are surprised that Rob went straight back to Kristen after the WFE promo.

My hubby traveled a lot for work and I remember well how hard it was to be apart and how exciting it was to be reunited. As much as it hurt to be apart we never wanted to let ourselves get used to it. It melts my cold, black heart to see Rob and Kristen doing everything they can to have a relationship that will last a lifetime. :)

Thanks for the well wishes on my move. I spent a good part of the morning packing boxes and hauling stuff to the Goodwill. Amazing what you can collect in 10 yrs!

Sorry for being so wordy today!

*My new avi is in honor of a certain someone's upcoming birthday. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  21. You got that straight to the point Rose! Soooo BOLD to get straight to the point! Only you Rose!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hey Freddie...ha ha...yes, the hubby and daughter came through!! Did you have a great weekend shopping and such?

About this Tai video ...well, I cannot watch it because I know it will make me upset. Wondering WHY this video is surfacing now??

    Hi Everyone...
    Dottie...when are you moving??

    ReplyDelete
  23. Angelica,

I agree, they sound like a normal, mature, committed couple trying to merge 2 busy work schedules. Truly shows a high level of commitment to each other.

    30,

If this is a legitimate video then it needs to be addressed, but this organization is using the popularity of this movie and it's stars to make a name for themselves. Why is this just coming to light now? Sounds very suspicious to me.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Rose,
    I love this post,so simple,so logical. I love logic.
I really don't understand the need to immediately spread the word that you have spotted this couple. It would be pretty cool to see them, but why would you want a flock of people descending down on them like vultures. Wouldn't that ruin the moment? I saw Rob and Reese talking about it. What would be a cool personal experience has now turned to chaos and ruined the moment for you and the person you supposedly admire. Simply not logical.
I'm off to shop with my girls. See you all later.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Boy, what an appropriate post. I am just as guilty as most, in that I love seeing pics of them together. But I cringe when I see them trying to run at an airport, or just hide enough to get away. Those pics in Long Beach of Rob were the worst. In an interview Rob mentioned people taking pics and selling them, it seems like you would want to keep it for yourself. People are weird. I actually read a post from someone who saw them in Toronto walking Bear, holding hands, but didn't take a picture, didn't say where, and didn't post it immediately. I have to say I like that a bit better. Thanks Rose

    ReplyDelete
  26. Rose, It makes perfect sense to me too. They're just like any other young couple, placing each other, and their relationship first. I hope they can enjoy themselves while in Toronto, hopefully, in relative peace and privacy :)

Angelica- I can't help it, I love seeing Bear too. He's just so cute :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Freddie, the poor WFE offical facebook page is becoming a haven for extremist right now, I have a migraine. They are hoping Rob will make a comment it seems and they do not want his fans too support the movie.

They start off all nice but are now becoming nasty because Robs fans are sticking up for his movie over there. Its ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Freddie- Thanks, for the kind words, I'm fine. The flooding is occuring to the West of me, in the Memphis area, it's quite devastating. I appreciate your concern :)

    Hi Everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Gotta agree with Rose! Put the friggin cell phones away. Ya know, there was a time when there were NO cell phones and we all got along fine. Just back off and give Rob and Kristen a break...people don't need to tweet and twat their every move or secretly take pictures. Back off suckkas!!

Hi everybody! Missed you guys...hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hi HOPE! The movers come on the 23rd. I think if I pack a bit each day I will make it... hopefully!

I forgot to add to my earlier post that I really appreciated it today that ROSE chose to ignore the foolishness that was going on this morning, and instead focused on the LURVE! (Jawline! LOL) ROSE, you are a smart cookie!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Hi Rose and everyone else-

Might be the best post you've ever written. Why people can't just wait is always beyond me. I mean, the whole thing is such bullshit. Explain this to me...someone fucking explain. You are out somewhere and you see someone you recognize, fine. Now people do one of several things. Some do nothing but stare. That's kind of creepy but fine. Some approach and try to make eye contact. If they make eye contact they usually will say "are you so and so" and ask for a photo or autograph. Others will scream--which is such a fucking strange reaction but okay, they are overwhelmed for some reason. Then there are the calculating ones that hide and get out their phones and take video or pictures at least. Here's the thing--the ones who take pictures or video and rush to Twitter or FB, they want attention and they want to tell their stories. Now, I'm guessing they want their friends to know they saw whoever. Here's the tricky part-if one of my friends said they saw whoever, I would believe them. I wouldn't need a video. If I needed a video to convince my friend I saw someone, what kind of friend is that?? So, these people either think they have shitty friends OR they want attention from all of Twitter. Why? Why would they do that because they all attack whoever says they saw someone. It ALWAYS ends badly. Either the protective ones bitch that the person tweeted the location or did it at all or people say its a manip or fake or whatever. Wouldn't it be better to just keep it to yourself or tell the friends that you care about who are real friends. You shouldn't need proof. Its stupid--its all stupid. I won't even say that it might be a better world if people just looked away and gave whoever the right to exist in the world without the fear of being "caught" or chased. Why do so few people think that no matter what your job is, you have a right to a certain amount of privacy when you are not working. That if you are shopping, going to the doctor, walking the dog, or traveling, there might be some expectation of privacy? When you buy a ticket or a CD of someone's music, does that entitle you to know EVERYTHING about the person. To intrude into their lives and try to find out what fucking type of underwear they wear? To find their hotel, to stalk them, to post their address, their license plates, their phone numbers and jeopardize their safety? All because you want attention from a bunch of assholes on Twitter....it makes no sense. And why the fuck does it have to be immediate?? The only reason is that its become a fucking sport. Kind of like going on a photo safari in Africa?? I could almost respect the assholes who do this more if they got paid. At least the paps get paid. But the supposed fans who go on hunts, create little cliques to share the info, and, if they are successful, immediately post the picture and location and details that shouldn't fucking matter...it makes no sense.

Well, I said too much and took too long. But that was a good post.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Smitty - I'm not sure where it went, but you didn't say too much in your post. It isn't fair and it doesn't make any sense at all.

Rhonda – glad to hear that you are fine. Sorry to hear about the devastation. They are having similar problems in parts of Quebec. It must be such a helpless feeling.

Hope – I had a nice weekend, thanks. Having some good weather for a change is really uplifting.

Super – glad you had a good trip. Isn’t it a pain when technology fails you.

    Hi Kay, Smitty and May.

This may be a repeat post - my first one disappeared into the ether???

  50. Freddie- Yeah, there's a lot of crazy weather this year.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Smitty - Everything you said is absolutely right. It doesn't matter what you do for a living, when you're off duty, you should be left in peace. If I see someone famous and know one of my friends is a fan, IF I remember,I might mention it next time I see them. It would never cross my mind to tweet it or put it on facebook. Maybe that's due to scary childhood memories of being with my mum in the supermarket, when someone asked her to diagnose their symptoms!! I really don't get it either.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Hi Angelica...nice to see you! Did you enjoy your day off for the Royal Wedding?

Hi Smitty! Nice to see you too!

  53. Hi Guys...All of the computers in our house are messing up tonight. I thought it was just my laptop...so I will continue to use my cell phone. Sorry I will have more typos!

  54. HI IB - I did but I've had so much time off recently,I'm dreading working a full week. This is my first one since the 1st week of April :)

    ReplyDelete
  55. Rose, I enjoyed this post very much. People just need to show some respect and treat stars like they would want to be treated. I am so happy Rob and Kris are together, and I hope they have some peace while they are together. I think they have their lives worked out and they know exactly what they are doing. I only wish them the best. Take care all Roselanders, have a good week.

    ReplyDelete
  56. IB - how did your daughter's team do?

Smitty - nicely put. We've taken technology, which should be an enabler and turned it into a weapon of sorts. People should be able to expect some privacy.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Hi Super! What's shakin?

Freddie~Daw's last competition was AWESOME...the kids rocked the mat! We place in the Top 5! Fifth place out of fourteen teams! We are a little gym with only three teams. The only teams that place higher than us were these huge teams with tons of girls so they can "stack" teams with the best of the best. We can't do that because we are so small. The best part was that we beat local rivals...one came in 13th and the other 10th. Yeah for us!!!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Angelica- I can totally relate to your mom with that, people I barely know will call me up for a medical diagnosis all the time :)

    ReplyDelete
  59. Angelica~I totally understand...that is just like going back to school AFTER summer vacation :(

    BTW...only 36 more school days!!!

  60. Rhonda - I've never recovered from the woman who insisted on showing her breast abscess in a shoe shop - I think I was 8?!

    ReplyDelete
  61. IB - that's great. Way to go. I'm sure the girls were on a high. This was nationals, wasn't it? Impressive.

  63. Hi Freddie, hope you are well and had a lovely Mother's Day.
I had a lovely day with my husband and 3 daughters ! Then took myself off to see WFE for the 2nd time. What a beautiful film!

Smitty I loved your post and thought you were very succinct..and you are right-- it is quite simply STupid...that people choose to behave this way!

    Hi to everyone :)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Angelica - EWWWW!!! That would be scarring. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  65. SMIITY...I just went back to catch your comment. I think this generation of young people coming along have abnormally low self worth and will go to great lengths to "impress" people, many of them being on twitter...its kind of like "- saw them first..haha...I'm the winner...pathetic...These are very strange times...on the one hand I feel sorry for these people...that they have NOTHING better to do with their time...but on the other hand, I can get a clear mental picture of what you are relating and can understand the exasperation R and K must feel...every damn day...All things must pass. There will be a day when this nonsense will end...none too soon, I'm sure...

    ReplyDelete
  66. oops..I accidently signed in on my daughters account..enna-girl! My bad :)

What's new in your neck of the woods? Any summer vacay plans?

  71. Oh Angelica - you do have a way of drawing a mental picture - an off-putting one in this case. Ha Ha.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Smitty
I will give you a honest answer on why people cant wait, because some (not all)some, do not see Rob and Kristen as real people with feelings they see them as entertainment, in the movies and out in real life.
It's sad and part of why I hate the internet sometimes, human decently goes out the window.

    ReplyDelete
  73. TigerL~Yes, they are stupid...stupid is as stupid does!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Hi Tigerlily - thanks for clarifying. Glad you had a nice time with your family.

IB - nothing much at the moment, but I am feeling the need for a bit of vacation. I just have to find the right time - possibly in June.

  75. IB...Give your daughter a high five for me..job well done! 76. Smitty your post was great and we really appreciate your perspective. I hope that over time things improve. They have to, right?

Hi IB, Rhonda, Tigerlily, Freddie, 30, anyone else here...

  77. IB - work is still very weird this year. I think I mentionned that we went through a merger last year, and we're still getting organized under new management. A lot of peoples' jobs have changed, including mine, and many of us are having a really hard time feeling motivated. I know that the motivation should come from within, but boy at the moment it is hard...Roseland is a nice escape.

    ReplyDelete
  78. 30- Very well said. Unfortunately, in some cases, that's true. Like Angelica said earlier, it doesn't matter what your profession, you have a right to privacy.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Super~My grandmother, who lived to be 93, drank a perfect Manhattan made with Southern Comfort and a cherry, everyday of her life!

    How's your tooth doing?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Hi Super - I've been drinking "something" from Kazakhstan. I have no idea what it was but I don't think it was intended for human consumption!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Freddie~Hang in there...things will get better!

    Hi Dottie!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Hi dottie :)

    Freddie- It'll get better :)

    ReplyDelete
  83. 30 – the internet is an interesting world, that's for sure. People should THINK about what it would be like if the shoe was on the other foot and it was their privacy being invaded. Then I suspect they would think twice about what they are doing.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Freddie... sorry about that.. a comedy of "technology" errors.. I realised my error then couldn't delete it!

I think 30 hit the mark with her comment... about People not seeing the likes of Rob & Kristen as people who are trying to live their lives. Rather that they are just another form of entertainment.
It's disgusting that they treat the 'celebrity spotting ' as if it is a sport.
I'm sure Reality TV has played a huge part. Some people just want their own '15 minutes' of fame and don't seem to care about the consequences!
Sorry about the rant! It makes my blood boil.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Great post today Rose. Thank you. Wish people would just realize that they need to treat others with respect, good manners and not intrude into one's personal space.

Smitty, your comments and observations were so well stated. Thank you for sharing them. Wish the numskulls and dolts would understand the concept of privacy and kindness.

Rhonda and Linda, stay safe with all the flooding. It certainly looks frightening and even after viewing the news one cannot truly understand the magnitude of the devastation.

Kay, good luck with the move. Moving is such a monumental task. Hope it goes very smoothly for you when the big day arrives.

Congratulations IB on your daughter's successful competition. Sounds like her team rocked the rival teams!

    Hugs for y'all.

    ReplyDelete
  86. IB...the tooth is great! (Thank God)...OMG IB...every night???? That drink was awesome but it was a "butt kicker"...I only had one! ANGELICA....OMG to you also...be careful! You know DK had to go tend to a few of her daughters friends recently that got ahold of some bad stuff..incense or something...they got real sick...be careful!

    ReplyDelete
  87. Freddie - What I find bizarre is how often you see groups of people out together, not talking to each other because they're too busy texting. Why didn't they just go out with whoever they're texting instead ?

    ReplyDelete
  88. I just can't get over how people have no shame whatsoever. I have seen celebrities, like most people, but I've always quickly looked away. It's mortifying to me. I have never been able to approach them...I just think it's embarrassing.

Super and 30: you guys are so right. Loved what you said.

People just need to mind their own business. It reminds of a pet peeve of mine...when people face me in an elevator and not the front. Um, I can see you, you realize. Wtf? Makes me so uncomfortable.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Rhonda and Angelica--your stories are so funny. I can imagine someone doing that.

    30-you are right--sad but true.

    Rose--soon!

    ReplyDelete
  90. Thanks Olivia! Daw and her team are very proud of their accomplishment!

Super~Yes...one a day....Grandma ate a very high fat diet...we all swore that the Manhattan helped thin her blood out :)

    ReplyDelete
  91. Angelica- That's so true, I see people doing that all the time. Even while at dinner their texting, instead of talking to each other..makes no sense.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Angelica - you're right.

Hi Olivia and Sydney - hope you are both well.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Hi everyone!

Rhonda and Angelica, I am not a doctor or a nurse, just have worked in healthcare environments and I have people calling and asking me about diagnosis and medications and what I think is wrong with them.

Sydney, I agree. If I ever saw someone that was a "celebrity" I would never say anything. I'd just go home and tell my family and friends. I can't imagine intruding on someone's dinner or anything.

    ReplyDelete
  94. SYDNEY, I am like you. I am too mortified to approach someone. Not only am I afraid I will look like an idiot but the last thing I want to do is make the other person uncomfortable.

I've never seen anyone facing someone else in an elevator. How bizarre!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Sydney- Ha you are so right.. the elevator experience!! It is absolutely bizarre how people think you can't see them looking you up and down!

    ReplyDelete
  96. Smitty- Lol, yes, I've seen a lot more than I ever wanted to see, trust me :)

    Hi Olivia :)

    ReplyDelete
  97. PL! I was just thinking about you and poof...here you are!

    ReplyDelete
  98. Believe,

If you wish it, it will happen.

    Guess where I went Saturday?

    ReplyDelete
  99. Tigerlily - I guess I'm always trying to avoid eye contact in elevators, so I never notice it when people are looking you up and down.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Hi Penny- I'm such a dork, I probably wouldn't be able to speak anyway, and would just stand there like an idiot :)

    ReplyDelete
  101. Has anyone heard from Melinda?? Did she make out like a bandit in Vegas?

    ReplyDelete
  102. Believe,

Yup, got my church vibe on. Foreign priest, could understand maybe every 4th word, but I was there.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Rhonda,

You know what I've always wanted to do? If I saw someone famous at some touristy location I'd like to hand them my camera and ask them to take a picture of me and whoever I was with, not with them. Then assuming they did it, I'd take my camera back and thank them, by name, and just walk away. I'd hope they'd get a kick out of it.

    ReplyDelete
  104. PL~I knew it! The priest might have been hard to understand but at least you got your blessings :) Can you imagine sitting through the old Latin Masses not understanding a word? No wonder all the older ladies would sit and say the rosary.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Hi OLIVIA,DOTTIE,and PL!!! GRUFF...If you are out there with Smitty I wanted to tell you that my husband goes to a local restaurant every Wed night to play the guitar with "whoever" shows up...heh...they have a great time...My daughter is going to put a pic of him playing there on my avi soon...Good Night Everybody...going to lurker status...have a great evening...I enjoyed it

    ReplyDelete
  106. Also, I tend to take myself too seriously and would never suffer the indignity of gushing over a stranger. I'd be all too cool for school and act like, psh, I totally see celebs all the time. No big thing.

I would save any outburst for when I was out of ear/eye shot.

Tigerlily- yes, the full body scan. Drives me nuts...ever heard of peripheral vision? Have some tact, please.

    ReplyDelete
  107. PL - Most of the time when I see someone famous, I assume I know them from work and it dawns on me hours later who it actually was :)

    ReplyDelete
  108. Night Super!

    Believe,

Yeah, the old ladies with the hats and the rosaries. My husband thinks Catholics don't know how to sing and are so dreary. He would have died of boredom back then.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Freddie - it seems to happen to me quite a bit!lol

As a nurse I start very early in the morning and am usually rushing, so when I notice out of the corner of my eye that someone is doing this strange behaviour.. I start to get paranoid and think that maybe I have put my underwear on the outside or worse still forgotten to put my work trousers on :)

    ReplyDelete
  110. PL~It sounds like your hubby isn't Catholic... my hubby is Catholic...he is Baptist. My mother-in-law is a Baptist minister :/

    ReplyDelete
  111. Night Super :)

Penny- I've only seen a few celebrities in person and talked to none of them, except one, and it was expected, because it was a charity fund-raiser :)

    ReplyDelete
  112. Angelica,

I don't think I've ever seen anyone famous, if I did it must not have made a lasting impression.

I do not understand the screaming. Even George Clooney wouldn't get a scream out of me. Guess I'm not a screamer. And you all can take that whichever way you want.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Can I just say that if I ever saw Rob and Kristen, pictures and tweets wouldn't be a concern because I would be passed flat out on the floor!! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  114. PL - LOL! I've never been a screamer either. Even as a teenager I was embarrassed for the stupid girls who fainted when they saw ther idols. I mean, have a little dignity.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Oh no! Angelica, I guess I would be one of the ones...uh...without dignity??

    ReplyDelete
  116. Believe,

My husband was raised Baptist too. They sure do seem to go for the Catholic girls. And if you're a screamer I would move as far away from you as possible when the urge struck you.

    ReplyDelete
  117. IB - Since it's you, I'll pick you up off the floor and tell Rob and Kristen you've been overcome by the heat or something :)

    ReplyDelete
  118. Well, Rhonda, are you a screamer?

    ReplyDelete
  119. Freddie, just saw your comment about work. I agree that Roseland is a great place to come, relax for a bit, and regroup if needed. I love the saying...."Keep calm and carry on." Hopefully things will get better soon. Planning a vacay is always a nice distraction.

Hi everyone, **waves** ! Am here for a short bit longer, then off to read a couple of chapters.

Watched WFF, Tom's movie last evening. A very sweet and innocent film. Tom was wonderful in it, so very well cast. A bit of Beeny and Joon flavor to it.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Penny - I'm like you. I don't think I've ever seen any celebrities and I know for sure I wouldn't have the Chutzpah to approach them - no matter how cool I'd like to think I would be in my own mind....And I sure as hell wouldn't scream... I'm long past that.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Believe,

Angelica has just proven herself to be much nicer than I am. But I guess you already figured that out.

    ReplyDelete
  122. IB- Yes, and I have medical training, so I could rush over and offer assistance, that way everything looks legit :)

    ReplyDelete
  123. Rhonda - Would you be offering medical assistance to IB or Rob and Kristen?

    ReplyDelete
  124. Angelica- Whoever was more traumatized, LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  125. Oh thanks, PL, so you would just leave me on the floor?

    ReplyDelete
  126. Olivia- I love that saying too. I had it as my avi at one point :)

    ReplyDelete
  127. You girls are so funny. I tend to be more of the "too cool for school" type but if by some chance I become so overcome w/emotion I begin to make a fool of myself, you all have permission to give me a "snap out of it" slap! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  128. Believe,

I'd throw my coat over you or something. Once they moved on, then I'd help you.

    ReplyDelete
  129. PL~Make sure to leave an air space so I can breathe.

    ReplyDelete
  130. I need to call it a night here too.

Good night Freddie, Believe and anyone else still lurking.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Hi all-- late to the party again. Spent too much time throwing darts at hyenas today (I know, I should be above it, but it's just too damn easy sometimes) so had to catch up on some stuff tonight.

Smitty -- sorry I missed you but in case you stop back I wanted to offer this reply: I think the problem is that the internet -- while certainly enabling so much that is good, such as this little community -- has created a culture of accessibility and familiarity that had destroyed the natural distance that used to exist between celebrities and the public. From the moment that Ashton Kutcher started tweeting, it put actors on a slippery slope to the current situation where the pereception of being "friends" and "connecting" with celebrities has made fans feel entitled to intrude in an actor's life -- simply because they can. (Nothing against Ashton, but what the fuck was he thinking with that?) Tweeting locations, sneaking pictures, plastering FB and tweeter with "evidence" that you are now as stakeholder in a celebrity "brand" -- and are therefore yourself part of that brand -- are all manifesations of this entitlement. And on the more insidious end, it manifests as spewing hate and conducting a vendetta against someone simply because she interfers with the a fan's fantasy of her place in a celebrity's life.

As the first stars to rise to fame in the mobile age, I think Rob and Kristen have borne the brunt of this phenomenon in all of the ways described above. I can't begin to imagine the pressure they face, and am happy that they have each other to turn to in the eye of the storm.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Hi Roseland! Do any of you know the status of the Jeff Buckley pic? I know Rob met with his mother, but I also heard she nixed him, or is that just rumor? Hopefully it is cuz I think he'd be great in that role!!!

    ReplyDelete
  133. Hi Everyone -
Your comments are cracking me up tonight.

Sydney - the elevator thing-- people do this?! That's incredibly creepy. Why are people so f'ing weird?

30 and Real_Pr_Pro - Your comments are spot on. There's nothing more to say on that subject. It's the brave new world we live in and I kind of hate it sometimes. What happened to mystery? Or how about common decency and respect for others? Sorry! I just suddenly stepped on a soapbox here. Stepping off now...

Fio - I HOPE you are sleeping, but in case you read this tomorrow, know that I'm saying a few Hail Mary's for your exams.

Hope everyone in Roseland is well. This place a bright-spot in an otherwise crazy world. Take care...

Some people live for the fortune
Some people live just for the fame
Some people live for the power, yeah
Some people live just to play the game

Some people think that the physical things
    Define what's within

    And I've been there before
    But that life's a bore
    So full of the superficial

    Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
    If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby

    Some people want diamond rings
    Some just want everything
    But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, Yeah

Some people search for a fountain
    That promises forever young
Some people need three dozen roses
And that's the only way to prove you love them

Hand me the world on a silver platter
And what good would it be
    With no one to share
With no one who truly cares for me

    Some people want diamond rings
    Some just want everything
    But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, Yeah

If I ain't got you with me baby
So nothing in this whole wide world don't mean a thing

The first time ever I saw your face
I thought the sun rose in your eyes

And the moon and the stars were the gifts you gave
To the dark and endless sky

The first time ever I kissed your mouth
I felt the earth move in my hands

Like the trembling heart of a captive bird
That was there at my command, my love.

And the first time ever I lay with you
I felt your heart so close to mine

And I knew our joy would fill the earth
And last till the end of time

I am so happy Rob and Kris are in Toronto, the three enjoying a good time before Cosmopolis, like a family ... And I also hope that people respect them.
I guess now, "seeing " as they are always together as a family the envious and haters are biting themselves, is not it? ... bwahahaha!

Nice selection of songs! Leona Lewis is great!

Hugs and good Tuesday for all!

  139. Hi All in Roseland!

I am waaay late in replying, but RL and weekend away, I am only now getting to read the blog....

Great post once again Rose, and everyone's comments are spot on!

I actually had a random celeb encounter/s this weekend in London and it was the situation of just have inner squee moment as opposed to going all fan girl in their face.

I was at one of the galleries on Sunday, looking at a book in the gift shop when a man asked if they could get past me with their stroller to pass a book to his wife who was stood next to me. I was totally engrossed in the book and looked up to say no problem, it was none other then EWAN MCGREGOR!! It took a second to register that it was actually him, and you could see he was just doing the family thing out for the day enjoying the lovely summer day. Even though I am a big fan, I didn't really want to bring attention to him or embarrass myself. But let me tell you it didn't stop others - as I said I hadn't really been paying attention to what was going on around me until then and when I looked around, you could see small groups staring at him. There was a few teen boys and girls standing in a circle trying to decide who would go up to him... They did, and I can tell you I doubt he smiled in any of those photos - you could see he was really uncomfortable - he was out with fam and not at 'work'. But he was still nice enough to actually do it.

I mean, there is a time and place for all that, when in right envronment and situation. But above was not one of them.

I know I still have to tell you all about TOM STU in Wastwater, and seeing him up close - so to be continued.... Have a meeting to go to now - booo! RL always gets in the way....

Hope everyone having a good day!

  140. Good morning Roseland!

Again and again, I continue to miss the most fun conversations around here...why? :)

    -------------------------
The video circulating showing the abuse of Tai in 2005 is disturbing and my question is not why (we all can guess as to why it's being circulated now)
Tai has been in many, many movies during the past SIX YEARS. Releasing this video now screams opportunity to discredit and for me it calls into question the sincerity/agenda of the group releasing it.

@Real_ pr_pro: You are a woman of tolerance in answering the obvious delusional bullshit you are answering.
    Bless you!

    Oh my.....When all talk of:
    The end is near,
    Exit strategy,
    PR,
    He can't stand her,
He can't wait to be away from her ETC, ETC, ETC fail, that is when fuckery hits a new level and ALL commonsense evades some people.
The pain of knowing how wrong you are and continue to be must be intense.

  144. Hi All! Just dropping by quickly before work to say hello. Will have to catch up with everyone later. Gotta get to work.

Before I go though...Happy belated Mother's Day to all the Roseland moms out there.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Morning Roseland!

Just read the post. Loved the "Nonsense is Obsolete", and must totally agree that people need to be more responsible with their tweets. If you really consider yourself a fan, why wouldn't you respect the privacy of people? Maybe, there needs to be classes in schools on how to be responsible on the internet. The internet is such a new form of communication, with no rules on behavior. People have just gone wild doing and saying anything they feel like with no threats of repercussions for their behavior. In certain situations this can blow up and people will get hurt. On the other hand, the internet is such a break through for communication around the world. I just feel responsibility for your actions and words should be taught, so that maybe people will think about the consequences. With freedom comes responsibility. Abraham Lincoln said "You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today." Anyway, just my thoughts on a complex issue.

Smitty, I enjoyed your passionate post. It was very heartfelt, and the part about what kind of friend needs video proof to believe you is an excellent point.

Freddie and Olivia thank you for worrying about me, but the flooding is way west of here. I do deliver in an area that got quite a bit of damage from a tornado. No one was injured but this is the second time this area has been hit by a tornado. The destruction that occurs so quickly is terrifying.

DK I didn't know Leona Lewis sang that song. I remember the Roberta Flack version.

    Everyone have a great Tuesday.

    Linda

    ReplyDelete
  146. @Linda:
Excellent points regarding Twitter and the Internet as a whole.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Linda - Very good points. I think lack of accountability is very key and it's mirrored in the reluctance of society as a whole nowadays,to take responsibility for their own actions.People fail to apply basic common sense to simple everyday situations and when something goes wrong it's always someone else's fault because "No one told them how to do it". I think the impersonality and perceived anonymity of the internet allows certain individulas to adopt a sense of detachment from the consequences of their actions. In these cases, I think there's a lot to be said for applying a "name and shame" policy since I doubt most of them would appreciate their families and co-workers seeing their true colours.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Hi All,

Linda...love what you stated this morning. Want to congratulate you on your son's graduation too.

    Melinda...were you lucky in Vegas?

IB...congrats on your daughter's cheer competition.

Smitty, Pr Pro...re-read your posts a few times...very insightful and wish everyone out there could read your words.

  151. Good morning lovlies! I so enjoy popping in here and reading all of your opinions and observations.

I read somewhere that Rob and Kristen are among the first "super stars" in this age of twitter and other social networking sites. They are navigating unchartered waters. Even though celebrities in the past had the same fanatical fans, those fans didn't have the ability to track their every move and know so much about their private lives as we have today. It's really amazing how beautifully RK have handled everything that's been thrown at them over the last few yrs.

    ReplyDelete
  152. HOPE,
I got so long-winded in my last post I forgot to answer your question about the move. It's kind of exciting & sad at the same time. I have a lot of close friends here that I hate to leave, but I grew up in Alabama and have family & old friends there. It will be nice to be closer to my dad. He is getting older and hasn't done well since my mom passed away a couple of yrs ago.

Probably more info than you wanted but thanks for asking. :)

    ReplyDelete
  153. @Hope:
The area around the UN is lovely. When the UN is in session however, I am thankful I don't live around there.

Glad you and your family are able to make it back when you can. It is a great city. :)

Dottie...I'm in agreement with you in praising how well Rob and Kristen have handled everything that's been thrown at them.

Happy Tuesday to Rose, Smitty, and all of Roseland <3

  158. Hello Roseland..
I'll probably be alone saying this tonight cause i always miss the fun. I hate the time zone difference..
Anyway.. I read all your posts and couldn't agree anymore.

Smitty and prPro- your posts were so smart and spot on, straight to the point.
I agree technology has in some way created this universe where people think they have the right to do with it whatever they want, but of course it's basically people's fault. There always is a choice in life so if you don't want a twitter then you don't have one. same with Fb, and same with any other thing... And if you have one, what you do on there is consequence of your choices and actions.
The sad thing is when people do it on purpose.. like no one wants to talk to you about your feeling yet everyone is writing or sharing links on FB or twitter about how they feel...
there's like this feeling people have to need other people to care about them and what they say.. to put attention in them for a second.. they need people to wonder "oh why did she/he write this thing?"
so tweeting about actors or any famous people (and above all extremly known like Rob and kristen are) is just a way to get to that: fucking attention, just cause your life needs it!!!
Sometimes people tweeting about them is people who don't even care.. the sad thing is when "so called fans" tweets their location.. and I also know there are some kinda known "stalker-kind-of-gals" on twitter..
They are like everywhere! every premiere, every events... it's kinda scary and creepy..
If I ever, repudetly, happened to meet Rob or Kristen in street (impossible of course), I'd never take the phone and tweet it! Well i couldn't anyway cause I don't have internet on my phone.. and i don't want it either!
it's so sad how people seem to be addicted to this stuff.. like I know people that wouldn't go somewhere where they don't have internet connection for more than 3 days cause they can't be without internet.. and i'm like.. what the fuck is wrong with you?? jeez..

Anyway.. sorry for the long and maybe nonsense post..
    hope you are all fine.

    Mel- hope you had fun!
    IB- congrats on your daughter!
    DK- thanks for the compilation!
Jay and dottie- good luck with the move! :)
Freddie- thanks for good night lol and still thinking about Thomas everytime I read you.
MySoCalledlife- thanks a lot honey, but seriously, no need for it. Keep those prayers for people who really need it.

I'm sorry.. I had other things to say and totally forgot now... guess it's the consequence of readint 180 posts all in once hehe I should have written the note step by step..

I also agree and congrats on how Rob and kristen have been dealing with all this the last few years..
They truly are an "anomaly" in hollywood universe.

Congrats to Kristen for her award at Milan Film Festival! She deserves it so much! and i truly hope they get the movie in italian cinemas..
I'd like to take my friends and show them how a great actress she is..

    About Tai..
I'm really sorry and angry that "someone" is trying to mud WFE reputation and purity..
but my first thought goes to Tai and what she has been through.. =( that video was incredibly awful to watch..
damn me I couldn't help clicking play...

Ok.. i'm gonna go and enjoy the end of Twilight, showing on italian TV for the first time lol

    N-I-C-E job!

    @*IB*
All is well in my world, dull as I am these days, so don't worry.

    @Fio
    Thanks.

Going to have to wait to wear my hats, for the MD viewing didn't happen for several viable reasons. Be patient, hat fans!

Didn't forget you, and enjoyed your comments.

  161. DK, you are such a TEASE with those hats of your's! Life is short. Don't wait for a special occasion. Put on a hat and strut your stuff, lady!!! :)

Congrats to Kristen on the award. It is well deserved.

  162. Hi all!

I am so aggravate right now these asshole extremist are harassing all of the WFE fan sites, site owners (who are mostly young girls) fans. Let me say this, I do not blame any of them if they decide not too make any more sites in the future the harassment is sicking, the extremist are trying too find out there personal info threatening people etc..
These girls did not sign up for this, I feel terrible for them such hard work they put into the WFE sites too support Robert and now they have too deal with this? Its NOT fair.

  163. Take 2 on posting because something went wrong.

Anyway, popping in to congratulate Kristen on her well deserved win for Best Actress. She was kick ass as Mallory. Glad she was honored for her fantastic work. So excited!!!! Think I’m going to watch Welcome To The Rileys while I wait for my furniture to arrive. Moving cross-country is a real pain in the rear-end.

@Rose, you nail it every time. I hope the rest of the fandom takes notice and stop stalking and tweeting Rob and Kristen’s location. They deserve some level of privacy and normalcy just like everyone else. Hope they are having a well deserved break; together and in peace.

@Smitty, your words were stated perfectly. With these tweeters, it really is all about wanting to gain attention at the expense of someone else. Just keep thinking, a few more years of this insane level of hysteria and insanity and hopefully it will be better for all involved. I know it seems far away, but it will come.

@DK, my fav. DJ period, online and off, haven’t been able to check in for awhile because of moving, but you pulled out another favorite of mine, Together Again. I don’t know where you find these classics, but thanks for always brightening my day with your songs and random musings :). Also, I don’t think I have been on since my b-day last month, but I wanted to let you know that my dad did sing the April Showers song as always. No matter what or how old I am, he still sings the song and I listen and love it anyway.

@Penny Lane, if you check in and have time, can you please repost your apple dumplings recipe? In the process of moving, I lost it and of course since I can’t find nor completely remember the recipe that would be when the sweet hubby would ask about it.

@Fiorels, loved your post. Rob and Kristen do handle this insanity like champs and true professionals. By the way, love your videos.

Anyway, off to watch WTTR and wait for some of my belongings to arrive.

    Later Roseland!

  164. CUTIE...so good to see you back! I love that movie! Take care

  165. Hi ladies (and gentlemen) of Roseland. I hope you are all well and are having a good day.

Congratulations to Kristen on her well deserved win for her performance in WTTR. She certainly continues to impress.

Angelica – per your comment this morning, I totally agree with your concept of “name and shame”. That might help to reign in some of the abuses on the net.

Annie – Hang in there with the allergies. Hope you can ditch the Kleenex soon, but you probably look cool with the shades on…

DK – I can’t wait to see that hat!

Melinda – Did you break the bank in Vegas?

Hello to CutieStar, 30, dottie, DK, Fio and everyone else in Roseland. Hope to talk to you later.

  168. I'm Tipping A Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer For Cutiestar-Who's On My Mind:

There's A Tear In My Beer

    Hank Williams Sr.& Jr:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mA67y3mqjMs

There's a tear in my beer
    'Cause I'm cryin' for you,dear
You are on my lonely mind.

    Into these last few beers
I have shed a million tears.
You are on my lonely mind

    I'm gonna keep drinkin'
    Until I'm petrified
    And then maybe these tears
    Will leave my eyes

There's a tear in my beer
Cause I'm crying' for you dear
You are on my lonely mind.

Last night I walked the floor
    And the night before
You are on my lonely mind

It seems my life is through
    And I'm so doggone blue
You are on my lonely mind

    I'm gonna keep drinkin'
    Till I can't move a toe
    And then maybe my heart
    Won't hurt me so

There's a tear in my beer
Cause I'm cryin' for you dear
You are on my lonely mind

Lord, I've tried and I've tried
But my tears I can't hide
You are on my lonely mind

All these blues that I've found
    Have really got me down
You are on my lonely mind

    I'm gonna keep drinkin'
    Till I can't even think
    Cause in the last week
    I ain't slept a wink

There's a tear in my beer
Cause I'm crying for you dear
You are on my lonely mind

    Thank you/hankwilliamsmusics

  169. Super - saying ditto is very efficient. Being lazy is always good. I'm a master at it.

DK - I've never heard of that song, but it's an intriguing title. You've also inspired me to open a bottle of wine.

    You're onto me, I'm a big TEASER!

    @Super
    Hallo, darlin'.

    @Freddie
The day will come for my hats to appear, like FGM magic.

Think I need to go out walking for a half an hour, since it is so warm, and I need to move this bod away from the computer.

    @Smitty
I'm thinking of a Kristen quote that moves me at this moment:
"Be healthy and fuck everyone!" That's a fine POV for today's BS.

  171. DK!!!! Hello Dear Friend! I am one tired girl tonight...whew...long day since I talked to you this morning! Hope you have a good evening disc jockey queen!May I request Karen Carpenters song Bless the Beasts and the Children in honor of Tai?

  172. @Freddie
Play that song, I demand it, after you open the bottle of wine. It is a great song, upbeat for a downbeat sentiment, and a pure classic!

  173. @Super
You may and I probs will be on late night, to play with Bren, if she can stay up, even though I'm not supposed to. Sigh. Giggle.

Bless the beasts and the children
For in this world they have no voice
    They have no choice

Bless the beasts and the children
For the world can never be
    The world they see

    Light their way
    When the darkness surrounds them
    Give them love
Let it shine all around them

Bless the beasts and the children
Give them shelter from a storm

    Keep them safe
    Keep them warm

Bless the beasts and the children
