I love and adore Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
But.
I'm finding it harder and harder to stomach the absurd hate
that is thrown at them day after day.
Oh sure... you might just say...
"Don't read it, Rose"
But come on.
It's everywhere you turn.
This fandom goes in cycles.
And right now its in a severe drought cycle.
Never a good thing.
As soon as Rob and Kristen are off working on separate projects
the blisters and sores start to appear.
Oozing with bitterness, jealousy and hatred.
Gross, huh?
The thing is...
Neither Rob or Kristen have been 'caught' doing
anything remotely wrong or that would signify
trouble in their relationship.
Unless you count working as a sign of distress.
And I guess some people will cling to anything
in hopes that in means that Rob and Kristen are 'broken up'.

Hope – I hope you are well. You asked about painting the other day. We’re doing a little – mainly some touch up work – but we’re changing out carpets and window treatments today, and may try to retile part of a floor. I hope the heat has abated somewhat since Monday.
Birdie – sorry to hear that the rats are still in residence. Rat palace – that sounds like the Barbie Dream House for rodents.
IB – I just read your comment from the other day. I’m so very sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. It is very difficult to lose someone so young. Like Kay said, I’m sure they are just thankful that you are there.

Yes, thank you, for those asking - I had a ball in Vegas. And I mostly remember it. But it was exhausting and so expensive I can't even begin to describe how much money I spent. I did win $18 though so that'll help me not even a little bit.
ReplyDeleteI didn't go to bed once before 4am and we were up by 9am every morning to get chairs at the pool. So - yeah. I'm barely functioning.
And I did get into a little trouble...I had taken a picture of the hottest guy in the universe getting out of the pool on my cellphone. I forgot about it when I was showing pictures to my bf. It looks like the guy was walking right towards me. Kinda funny. I mean, I can look right? And oh was he worth the looking.

Rose, I know exactly how you feel. As soon as Rob and Kris are working on separate projects, the rumors start. I have heard so many, and I don't go looking, they just seem to find me. I refuse to believe Rob or Kris would do anything to hurt the other. Their love is there for everybody to see, if you are looking. I hope you can find a way to ignore all the hate, Rose, because we need you. Take care Roselanders and keep the faith--Rob and Kris are together and are more in love than ever. Oh, the picture of Kris leaving the gym, was she wearing the black bracelet she and Rob used to wear. It looked like it to me. Take a look, and let me know.

Saw Midnight in Paris and I highly recommend it. Woody Allen did a great job writing and directing it and the cast was excellent. The entire film is a loving series of postcard vignettes of Paris with beautiful photography. Loved all the 1920's and 1890's literary and arts references.....very well done and quite fun.

ReplyDeleteSaw a very cute side by side pet and owner comparison of Rob and Bear, both leaping and letting those long legs fly; you could definitely tell that the two belonged to each other! : )
A little lunch break music to liven up the early afternoon! Love this band. Really want to see them in concert one day.
I will raise a glass of sangrÃa with friends at my favorite TexMex lunch spot in honor of Rob and Kristen and all their hard work. Hope they get a bit of a break soon in order to enjoy, relax and recharge.

ReplyDeleteSaw your note. I have been burning the candle at both ends and actually overslept yesterday. A first for me(in a long times). My favorite sister and her family are coming today for a week. We have a big family get-together on the 4th. Our town has a big celebration every year with lots going on, so should be a good time.
Your plans sound fun. I would love the live music. I think you should put a picture up of the new hair color. We will all be curious. You've been doing a great job of pumping out the songs lately. I've missed chatting with you. I am still waiting for a hat picture!

To all our wonderful Canadians, Happy Canada Day/Dominion Day! Hope y'all have a fun and a relaxing, extended weekend.
Used to look forward to the fireworks over the Detroit River years ago when we would go downtown with a large group of friends to celebrate at the Detroit-Windsor International Freedom Festival! I was told that now it is just called the "River Days" on the U.S. side.
Happy start to the 4th of July to those who are fortunate enough to begin their extended weekend! Even though I will work every day, I will enjoy First Friday tonight, which is a local art, music and yummie food stroll in our local downtown, and then tomorrow, feast on some delicious grilled kebabs and strawberry shortcake at a friend's neighborhood games night. No fireworks allowed this year due to the burn ban.

You seem to be nostalgic for Michigan lately. We will be having fireworks here as they shoot them over the lake. Strawberries still have a week or so left. Muskmelon (I think Michiganders are the only ones to call it that) aren't until closer to August. And last but not least, the Traverse City Cherry Festival starts tomorrow.
