Rob and Kristen-- Comic Con Cute

Where do I begin
To tell the story of how great a love can be
The sweet love story that is older than the sea
The simple truth about the love she brings to me
Where do I start?

Comic Con 2012
The last Twilight Comic Con.
Kinda 'bittersweet'
And I'm starting to hate that word.

Well... needless to say
(I say needless to say a lot and I always say it)
There was an abundance of cute adorable moments.

First off...

How fucking sexy is Kristen?
I mean, seriously...
The girl was radiating sex appeal.
It's not so much the clothes or makeup...
it was the confidence.
The satisfaction.
Confidence is sexy.

Kristen has countless reasons to be brimming with it...
SWATH has done well at the box office.
She's excited about upcoming projects.
She looks phenomenal.
And Robert Pattinson can't keep his eyes off of her.
(and probably his hands... but we don't need to go there)

With her first hello
She gave new meaning to this empty world of mine
There'd never be another love, another time
She came into my life and made the living fine
She fills my heart

Rob and Kristen were their adorable selves at Comic Con.
They were playful and teasing
They were smiley and cute
They were... well
Rob and Kristen.
The banter they have together is so fun to watch.
Let's face it...
Rob and Kristen are fun to watch.
Period.
Rob is ALWAYS looking at Kristen.
Even when he might not be directly looking at her
You can tell he keeps her in his field of vision
He's just so...
...
AWARE of her.
No
He doesn't have to be next to her every second
or on top of her
No.
He doesn't have to do that.
She already belongs to him
That much is clear.
But he still can't resist looking at her...
And come on
He is so focused on her.
Always.
What she is saying...
What she is doing...
Always.

She fills my heart with very special things
With angels songs , with wild imaginings
She fills my soul with so much love
That anywhere I go I'm never lonely
With her around, who could be lonely
I reach for her hand-its always there

This picture.
This simple picture of Rob and Kristen's legs
next to each other.
How CUTE is that?
I know it sounds ridiculous.
I am ridiculous.
I can admit it.
But that picture just made me SMILE
BIG TIME!

Why?
I'm not even sure why.
But it's like...
SO Rob and Kristen to me.
It's how they seem to be in public.
Subtle touches.
Looks.
Rob has always worn his feelings for Kristen
on his gorgeous face.
Kristen seemed to try for a long time to avoid looking at him in public
Being too close...
She knew that once she did...
The world would know how she really felt.
And she was right.
Look at her look at him.
It's all there.
As for touching him?
She can't quite stop herself anymore.

She's always doing it.
Not that I blame her.
Nope.
Not at all.
And Rob isn't complaining... is he?
Nope.
Not at all.

Does Kristen say "I love you" here?
I don't know.
It's a great thought.
Robert does appear to be saying "same"
So whatever she said
He shares her emotion.
Doesn't really matter...
Look at the smile on Kristen's face
at Rob's response.
Yep.
Same.

How long does it last
Can love be measured by the hours in a day
I have no answers now but this much I can say
I know I'll need her till the stars all burn away
And she'll be there

So another Comic Con bites the dust...
and we are on the final Twilight journey.
Look at how far we've come
but more than that
Look at how far we still have to go.
Beyond Twilight.
Rob and Kristen will lead the way.
Together.

This post is brought to you by the letter *W*

W for WALKING!!

Well, do anything that you want to do, but uh-uh
Honey, lay off of my shoes
And don't you
Step on my blue suede shoes
Well, you can do anything
But lay off of my blue suede shoes

W for

Um.
W for...
WONDERFUL!

Thomas Sturridge.
I adore you.

And last but not least...
W for
Wait and see.
Good. Stuff. Coming.

Until next time.

  8. Hi Everyone, I hope you're having a good weekend

Watching Rob and Kristen being cute is far more entertaining than most films and it's always particularly entertaining when Rob loses his verbal filter and Kristen is exasperated as a result :)

    Hi Syd!

Super and Litmom- I hope you're feeling better :)

Happy Belated Birthday to Annie and Ali Mac

  9. Rose and Syd,
Always a pleasure. Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Loved the post and loved CC. We are going to have to relish all the promotions. It may be awhile before we see them doing this again, but I have a feeling it won't be the last.
Nice to see all you ladies and hope all is well in your world!

  10. Hi all

Super we would have to have that talk over a few drinks bc it amazes how much chance plays isn't it. A long time ago there was a concert I attended...one of the Beatles. I was with a bunch of friends. I've learned years later a woman was there who I've since met. It was Before our lives took us in opposite directions. I always think what if we had met then. Did we make eye contact? Why couldn't I have found her then? If I could only go back to that day, it would be so different.

Yes that talk of missed chances would require a bunch of drinks.

    Anyway...have a lovely evening.

  11. SYD

Yes..that's just what I mean. we think we have a lot of control over our lives but so much is by "chance"...it's sobering. Have a good evening and let us know when you are ready to kick back with a few and we will sort it out:-)

We've had quite a bit of rain here this week...thankfully though, because we were burning up...100 at 10 pm...Im not kidding...sigh...the rain has cooled things down into the 80-90's...

Have a wonderful weekend and let us know if you watch something interesting!

  18. Looking forward to going through the multitude of Comic Con vids this weekend. Thanks, Rose, for some of the pearls you came across. I loved Rob's questions to SM, "Bella and Edward get a divorce, like Mr. and Mrs. Smith". Free-wheeling Rob, and K's comment, "What are we doing here??", so entertaining!

    Have a great weekend, Roseland!

  19. Hey Rose! I was looking forward to reading your thoughts about CC and you didn't disappoint. I haven't seen even half of the interviews and pictures but what I did see made me smile.

Super, I'm glad you are feeling better. I wrote to you at the other place but in case you didn't see it, belated Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Annie and Ali too!

Angelica, I hope you and Mr Angelica have a happy reunion. (Of course you will!)

Hello to Kay, Groovie, Sgt Syd, Leni, Birdie, and all the others who come by.

Much love and happiness to all!

  20. Ah, Rose! Thanks for your Comic Con reflections. It was grand, wasn't it?

I love how, when two people are in love - it's so hard not to be close to each other. Those little looks, quiet comments. So sweet.

And loved your "Love Story" reference.

SYD - So great to see you. Hope you're swell!

angelica- thank you, dear. Better every day.

Hope this posts... 2 of my last 3 posts have disappeared to the old Spam folder.

  22. Thanks Rose, great post <3

Super & Syd- I agree with your thoughts on chance. I've had some amazing, and a few not so amazing, things happen in my life as a result of chance.

Hi everyone- I hope you all are having a good weekend. Lots of love...

  23. Hi Folks,

Comic Con was definitely fun. The press conference was a laugh with all the banter back and forth between the panellists. The moderator should have just let them go. It would have been far more entertaining than the media’s questions. Kristen was very well spoken and passionate as always about her work, and Rob was his ever charming and hilarious self. There are no others that can compare.

First, some belated birthday wishes to Melinda and Super. I hope you both had wonderful celebrations with friends and family.

Annie and ali mac – happiest of birthdays today. Enjoy and kick up your heels.

Super and Litmon – hope you both feel better.

DK – good luck with your arranging and re-arranging in advance of the arrival of your new cabinet. It’s always nice to get new things. I also wanted to thank you for the Sophie Milman “Beautiful Love” from the other evening. She’s one of my favourites.

I meant to tell everyone that I got to see Cosmopolis when it was playing here. While I truly didn’t understand all of it and I suspect I missed a lot of dialogue, I totally loved, loved, loved it for Rob. He was absolutely fabulous in it. Rob more than showed his acting chops and has reason to be very proud of his work. The last scene with Paul Giamatti is worth the price of admission alone. It is so well played. Rob and Paul played off each other’s characters beautifully. It was a good thing that most people were sitting behind me in the theatre, because for much of the movie I was sitting there with this massive grin on my face (which was out of keeping with the tone of the movie) because I was so incredibly happy for Rob. I definitely recommend you see it when it comes out so you too can see his wonderful performance. The man is an actor.

Hi to Kay, Groovie, Syd, Super, Leni, Angelica, Birdie, wig4usc, dottie, Litmom, Rhonda from this post; along with Hope, Melinda, ali mac, OneHeart, Annie, DK from the last, and of course, Rose. I hope you all have a fabulous day and weekend.

    Take care.

    @Melinda
Sorry I missed ya (your birthday), so now I'll hafta kiss ya! XOXO

    @Freddie
You are always on my mind! (Thanks for the intro to Milman.) Know I'll see Cosmopolis and marvel, grinning along with you.

    @Oneheart
Well, you rock my soul, so high, I can't get over it, so low can't get under it, so wide can't get around it, you walk right through the door!

  29. Back from vacation to a lovely post from Rose... What a treat! Have only had the opportunity to view a couple of short clips from Comic Con, but it appears the R & K show has taken it on the road again with great success!! :) Too cute these two are...

Thrilled to see that Syd stopped by amidst his busy days to ruminate on Fate and chance... Must say I believe things happen for a reason, so might just as well leave some to chance ( keeps us guessing, and life interesting!)

Happy birthday to ali mac and Annie: you share a birthday with my daughter, who's sweet sixteen today! Belated bday wishes to Melinda and Super (though I think I hit you up on Twitter &/or Facebook)

Freddie, your comments are some of the best, I only need to read yours, sweetie, to get a summary of what I've missed!! <3

DK, I've missed you, too here in Roseland... So busy with packing for kids and myself that I've only had time these last couple of weeks for intermittent lurking...

To all the regs and those in lurker land, have a wonderful weekend. Smitty, Gruff, & Syd...take care!!!

  30. Wishing the happiest of birthdays to Ali Mac and Annie!!

    Sweet post, Rose!

I loved Comic Con! Rob and Kristen were looking gorgeous. Rob was so very much adorably funny and Kristen is getting more and more confortable in this press conference things. I absolutely love watching them interact with each other...seeing that special connection between them, it's something wonderful to witness. They are just too cute, adorable and sweet for words.

Freddie, I've seen Cosmopolis, as well, and thought it was a brilliant, fascinating movie AND Rob totally carries the movie, he is PHENOMENAL troughtout the whole movie!!! I was blown away by the scene between him and Paul. Extremely proud fan here!!

Syd, glad to see you stopped by. Hope all is well with you and yours! :)

    Take care everyone

  32. Comic Con was so much fun. It brings me so much joy watching Rob and Kristen interact. It is sad to think this is the last one, but it has been a wonderful experience.

Great post Rose, as usual. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

  33. Hi everyone...Hi Freddie I haven't spoke to you yet. I always enjoy reading what you post. You're so lucky to have seen Cosmopolis. Thanks for sharing.

Loved Rose today. She touched on alot of things that made this Comic Con so much fun to watch. It's always beautiful to see love and that's what we always see between Rob and Kristen. They're not only in love but you can tell they genuinely like each other. I think it's important to any relationship that you like the person you love. They play off each other so well. Looking forward to the good things to come.

Hope everyone has had a great Saturday.

DK you always make me think when I read your post...Thanks for keeping my brain awake. LOL Also most of all Thanks for always making me smile. "If I could reach up and hold a star for every time you've made me smile, the entire evening sky would be in the palm of my hand."

    Every day you get up
    Then you get down
    And it feels like
    You're liberated but bound
We're gonna get one time to get together
One chance to make it better

    Should I say yes
    Should I say no
You ask me what I want
    I wanna have it all
    I wanna get one time
    To get together

    Oh yeah we're gonna get
I just wanna get one time
    I said we're gonna get
I just wanna get one time

    Then you ask me when
    I say now
You ask me what it is
    I say that I don't know

Can we please take it slow
Why can't you just hold on now
    Take me for a ride
    Through the gloomy night
    Let me be your guide

    And then we're gonna get
I just wanna get one time
    I said we're gonna get
I just wanna get one time
    And get it off

  49. Still puzzled about K telling R to STFU. I'm trying to picture me telling my hubby that in front of 6000+ people. Then when Stephanie mentions the swear jar she blows it off and says she'll open a hospital or something. Is she THAT exasperated with Rob? This was a side of Kristen I'm not familiar with guess Rob's used to it though.

  50. Hi Rhonda, yeah we had a great time, no one wanted to come home. France is a beautiful country, the language barrier is difficult though!!

  51. Okay...trying again from a different device ( I'll be glad when my &%#@ing computer is fixed).

    DK -
Many hugs and grins for your daughter's engagement. The months before my daughter's wedding are some of our happiest memories. Such fun!
If you're helping with the planning, I'm here for ya, my friend! I did so much homework and planning, that a couple of my friends just borrowed "my book" & took it from there!

    You're one busy lady!

Happy Sunday to all! Sox & I are off to see the Braves play the Mets.

  52. DK: congrats to your daughter on her engagement... What a wonderful m-I-l you'll make! (2 times over!)

  53. DOZAC

I had to laugh at your comment. Everyone sort of knows that those words are pretty much part of her daily repertoire...so my guess is NO, I don' t think she is THAT exasperated with Rob! Lol

Good Morning Everybody or Evening, whichever it is:-)

    ReplyDelete
  54. Super - Spot on! I'm pretty sure Rob got the response he was looking for, he certainly looked pretty amused by it, as did the others. If I had a pound for every time I'd levelled that particular epithet at Mr Angelica when he's being "hilarious", I wouldn't have to drag myself out of bed at 6am in the morning :)

DK - Congrats on your daughter's engagement, it sounds like your going to be a busy lady!!

Kenzz and Ali Mac - Glad you had a good time :)

    ReplyDelete
  55. Angelica and Super, I agree w/Dozac that Rob is "used to" Kristen, just like Kristen is probably "used to" Rob. And they both seem completely enamored with what they've had to get used to! :DDD

    Later!

    ReplyDelete
  56. DK - Congrats to your daughter on her engagement and to you of course!

Angelica - Your comment made me laugh. The bf certainly heard those words directed at him a couple of times.. well I say them in German, but you know what I mean ;)

  57. Oh, I forgot to say...
I love when Rose says Good.Stuff.Coming., because it usually means good stuff IS coming. But then again, good stuff seems to come all the time!

    Thanks, Rose!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Super and Angelica I agree if anyone knows anything about these two, they know this is part of their everyday language. They're comfortable with each other. He knows she wasn't being rude to him in front of people. The audience knew...you can tell by the way they laughed.

I also tell Mr. Oneheart to STFU at times. He does me too. There's been other people around when we do it. It's just the way we are. When you love someone you can tell that person anything...including STFU. I would say that's one of the things he loves about her..she is who she is.

He has said in interviews that she challenges him. If you know anything about Rob after watching him or reading what he says in interviews, he's not the type to want someone who isn't outspoken, who is afraid to say what is on her mind. He also has said many times he was brought up around strong women. Kristen is strong. You don't see Rob with any of the women who would bow and kiss his feet, and just smile when he says something they disagree with. I bet that type of woman would bore him to death.

If you watch the videos of Comic Con you don't see a couple who are mad at each other. You don't see Rob getting upset with Kristen for saying STFU, he laughs. There's no need to take that one simple phrase STFU and make it into something more than it was. It was just a couple talking to each other the way they do..it's their normal.

Someone else may be in a relationship where they never say anything like that to their significant other and that is fine. It's what you are use to. If you suddenly started saying STFU to your spouse, boyfriend or whatever then it would be unusual and it would be offensive to the other person. It's not what your relationship is use to. So if I was in that kind of relationship I wouldn't do it either.

They're comfortable with each other, it doesn't mean that their respect for each other is any less than the couple who never says STFU. Every couple is different, it's not fair to expect all relationships to be like ours. We're all unique and if you're lucky to be in a long term relationship like many of us are and Rob and Kristen you know what works for you. Their relationship is working and it makes them happy.

Let's also give Rob some credit. He has a backbone, he's not a wimp. If he didn't want an outspoken woman then he wouldn't be with Kristen. To quote Rob...
"I don't know why she is. She's just better than everybody else."

Sorry so long, I get a little carried away..LOL

  60. HI ONEHEART

Oops, just saw your post! I agree with what you said and if anybody disagrees, just check out those legs in Roses post.:-). Do those legs LOOK pissed off??? Haha

  61. ONEHEART

I had to come back and say you are right about men with "backbone"... Only a confident man can be in a relationship with a confident woman..A confident woman with an unconfident man...won't last long..but ON THE OTHER HAND I see many Inconfident women with Inconfident men....wait a minute...did I say that right? Heh

  62. Spot on with this post. Rose, you always say what is on my mind. I'm trying to catch up with all the goodies still. Never ending cute moments that's for sure.

Syd- Great to see you pop in. Hope you are enjoying the sweet things in life everyday.

Freddie, DK,and Kenzz- Thanks for the belated b-day wishes.

DK- Congrats on your daughter's engagement!

It is dreary and rainy right now and prefect to curl up and read for a bit.

Hope everyone is enjoying what's left of the weekend.

  63. LMAO Super you said it just fine. You're right those legs aren't pissed off...Like Becca said those legs/feet are flirting. It's almost hard to see where one set of feet begin and the other ends..they're doing the tango. LMAO

  64. Thanks for posting the pic of Rob and Kristen with their legs touching, I think it is so dam cute.

  65. Super, Angelica, Dottie & Oneheart-

    Well said, ladies!

Leni- lol it doesn't matter what language you say it in as long as they get the point, right? ;)

  66. Good day!

Thanks for all the congrats about the engagement. I'm probably thought of (I hope) as more "fun" here in RLand, than by the kiddos, who might say "weird", and do!
Both are independent, strong minded, individuals, I'm happy to say.

    @Litmom
You can be sure I'll take you up on your "book" offer, but I am hoping she will wait until 2014, so we can get to enjoy the 2013 son's wedding first.

    @Oneheart
I totally understand the early am brain fog you talked about, as I have it in reverse, needing to calm down for sleep then but am groggy at 3pm.

Enjoying our banter here about STFU and how charming it is when used lovingly. Also, that flirty feet pic is another gem, imo. Oh, and "in your pants" , an utterly diverting thought.

All in all, only a few (really?) potato chips were needed to complete my day. So far. More good stuff coming, oh, no doubt.

  67. SUPER, I wish you could have heard me AWWW-ing when I read that your hubs has known you since you were 12. How sweet is that??? It's very special when people meet their life partner at an early age.

    Good night, Roseland!

  68. Looks like lots of celebrations going on here in Roseland, congrats on the pending nuptuals and birthdays!

Funny, I saw the clip yesterday of K saying STFU, didn't even occur to me that it would be offensive, its just her...and him. I love how comfortable and easy they are with each other. I just don't know how anyone can look at them and not see what most of us here see.

Still watching ComicCon vids here and there, looking forward to what's to come. Also, can't say I'm disappointed in a certain gossip columnist not having their column any longer. It was a menagerie of wacko commenters there!

Enjoy what's left of your weekend, Roselanders!

  69. the cuteness overload from these two is THUD-TASTIC!!! thanks rose i needed this today and now i have this huge smile on my face,i think its incredible four years later to see how the bubble is still going strong and dare i say as time goes bye its glowing brighter and farther, there is no room left for the obscurity in which the nonnies/zombies scramble desperately around in!
i seriously believe kristen makes it her business to see just how far she can drive robert crazy with the way she dresses in a public place where he can only look and nothing else...
another thought is i'd love to see taylor in love too, poor guy he's got to be relieved that soon he won't have to be the third wheel highlighting how awesome the bubble is !
i wish someone would put out a dvd of all twilight comic-cons best moments, i read the ending of BD again last night ,i always have a twilight book on my nightstand and so i read it and i hope they do the bella revealing her thoughts to edward scene well, its the sweetest moment to me of the series! if they do that well i'll be over the moon!

  70. LADYEVENSTAR

I find myself re-reading parts of BD in anticipation of BD2...I agree about the last scene in the book!!!! what I'm hearing is the fans WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!! CAN'T WAIT!

    As for TAYLOR

I may be wrong but I suspect he doesn't feel the way you described...my conjecture only, but from what I've seen of that young man is he is well spoken, a fantastic actor and athlete!!!! I think he has majorly got his act together and would say he does NOT mind being Number Three in one of the biggest franchises of all time! I am so impressed with him. Also, for anyone who hasn't seen his movie, Abuction...he is FANTASTIC !!!

  71. Where have we been? Busy watching Comic Con or trying to keep cool, or a million other possibilities? Life evolves.

I'm still futzing with getting my car back in totally repaired shape and even have to do things for getting that, in the morning hours! Yuck, imo.

No other news on the love agenda either for R & K or in my life. Yet, it's going on..

Happy day, Rose, Smitty, Gruff, Syd & Darlings, Roselanders and et al.

  72. Hail To Whatever You Found
In The Sunlight That Surrounds You

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbfmwKM2zFg

Hail to those who have come
    From the sunlight
    That surrounds you

    Pray for those who have
    Gone from the sunlight
    That surrounds you

    Pretend all the good things
    Are for you
    Pretend all the good things
    Are for me too

    And the weather changes
    Not halfway between
    Your house and mine

    Thank you/MikkiandTrevor

  73. Many More Millions Still Miss It

    Woodstock

    Joni Mitchell (1970):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aOGnVKWbwc

I came upon a child of God
He was walking along the road
    And I asked him
    Where are you going
    And this he told me

I'm going on down to Yasgur's farm
    I'm going to join
In a rock 'n' roll band
I'm going to camp out on the land

    'm going to try an'
    Get my soul free
    We are stardust
    We are golden
And we've got to get ourselves
    Back to the garden

Then can I walk beside you
I have come here to lose the smog
And I feel to be a cog
    In something turning

    Well maybe it is just
    The time of year
Or maybe it's the time of man
    I don't know who l am

But you know life is for learning
    We are stardust
    We are golden
And we've got to get ourselves
    Back to the garden

By the time we got to Woodstock
We were half a million strong
    And everywhere there was song
    And celebration

And I dreamed I saw the bombers
    Riding shotgun in the sky
    And they were turning
    Into butterflies
    Above our nation

    We are stardust
    Billion year old carbon
    We are golden
    Caught in the devil's bargain
And we've got to get ourselves
    Back to the garden

    Thank you/BenevolentVideos

  74. You'll Never Walk Alone
    (Instrumental)

    Nina Simone:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElwCOX3AiIs

When you walk through a storm
    Hold your head up high
    And don't be afraid
    Of the dark

At the end of a storm
    There's a golden sky
    And the sweet silver song
    Of a lark

    Walk on, through the wind
    Walk on, through the rain
    Though your dreams
    Be tossed and blown

    Walk on, walk on
    With hope in your heart
    And you'll never walk alone
    You'll never walk alone

    Thank you/Dantzmusic

  78. Good Morning, Roseland!
On my new computer, so maybe, just mayeb, 2/3 of my posts won;t disappear. Crossing fingers!

DK - I feel ya, hon - a friend of mine from Texas had ALL THREE of her kids get married in a 12 month span. And 2 of them were girls. Another friend from church had ALL THREE get married within 2 years, but only one was a girl, so it wasn't quite as stressful, but still! ANyway - GOOD LUCK!!

Annie - I missed your birthday! I hope it was GRAND!

Haven't really commented on the STFU comment, but here's mine - I wouldn't BE with a man who couldn't tolerate "me being me". I have a mouth, and I'm QUITE sarcastic (gotta be to teach high school and keep your sanity). Sox is very used to me slinging them at him, and he loves me for it. So, Kristen - don't hold your tongue. If that's you, baby - be YOU. Rob knows you and loves you for who you are.

Laters- here's to a beautiful day for ALL.

  80. Litmom: Thank you! It was. :)

Those people who are complaining about the STFU comment, should STFU themselves and grow up!
I swear some people live to create drama.
