Rob and Kristen- Let's Start With Forever...

"At what point did you guys know that you had
really good onscreen chemistry?"

What did Robert say?

I KNEW BEFORE I MET HER.

And while some would say Rob was just joking around
(which he did do a lot in this interview)
There is some precedence to this statement.
Rob did say on many occasions that he wanted
to work with Kristen when he saw her in
"Into The Wild"
and that was the reason he auditioned for Twilight.
So...
The whole 'before I met her' rings true... yes?

And let's talk about the whole 'off camera' incident.
Which wasn't off camera at all.

The Lunatic Fringe
actually took this as some insult.
The Bitter Berts were all offended that
"Rob is so jealous of Kristen and wanted to slap her
and knock her off her chair!"
"Where's Garrett?? Garrett would never do that!!"
The Nasty Ninnies were all about
"No real couple would EVER talk about each other like that!"
"Rob really must hate Kristen!! He wants to slap her!"

And both elements of the Fringe were united in their
lopsided delusional ranting
"I can't wait until He/She dumps Him/Her."

Really?
What part of that did you really believe Rob meant?
That he wanted someone to push her off her chair?
That he wants to slap her?
Really?
Did you see Kristen's response at all?
SHE WAS LAUGHING!!!
ROB WAS LAUGHING!!!
They were teasing and joking with each other.
Has everyone forgotten how they interact?
You REALLY think he was seriously telling Kristen
that he wanted to slap her when a camera was
on them the whole time?

Good Fucking Grief.
It's like people just ignore all the other stuff
that goes on with Rob and Kristen...
and just focus on the most lame ass shit.

Kristen was positively GLOWING with happiness that day.
Overfuckingflowing with it.
Did she look like someone who was offended by what Rob said?
Or do you think the girl understands his sense of humor?
Do you?
I thought the banter was adorable...
They are so damn cute with each other.
Laughing. Giggling.
In their own little world.
Oh yeah... Taylor was there too.

Yet.
We get the Fringe out there determining
that Kristen should do this...
and Rob shouldn't put up with that
and Kristen needs to stop that
and Rob can't wait for this...
Yada Yada Yada
The drama...
as usual
is self inflicted.
There is no drama between Rob and Kristen.
They are just living their lives
TOGETHER.
HAPPY.
IN LOVE.
It's only the delusional asstards
who feel entitled to decide
what Rob and Kristen should do with their lives
that love to wallow in the bitter foam
that they are always swimming in.
Digesting.
Spewing.
Gross.

On to better things...

I watched Breaking Dawn 1 last night.
I like this movie.
The wedding.
God.
We've all heard Kristen say 'her' wedding
was her favorite part.
It's mine too.
It's major sap time whenever I watch it.
Seeing Bella all nervous about walking down the aisle...
The way her face fucking lights up
when she sees Edward waiting for her.
The kissing.
And yes... the Prom song.
As soon as they start singing

"I was a quick wet boy
Diving too deep for coins ..."

I get a bit teary. Still.
I do.
The way they look at each other.
The way they kiss.
The way a part of it seems all so real...

"Have I found you, Flightless Bird?"

Yes.
You found each other.
Let's start with Forever.
**sniffle**

Enough sap?
Probably.
I'm in kinda a mood.
Bitchy/Sappy
Not sure how that works.
But I yam what I yam.

This post is brought to you by things that make me Sappy.
Sappy
Soggy
Mushy
Melty

1. Thomas Sturridge.
Yeah... he's a daddy now
But for some reason that just makes him
all the more appealing.
Tender, loyal, sweet and loving.
What an incredible father he must be.

2. Pattinson. Robert Pattinson.
OK.
So I'm not sure 'sappy' describes how this picture
makes me feel..
But MELTY does.
Yes. It does.
Don't argue with me.

3. Breaking Dawn Wedding Scene.

"It's an extraordinary thing to meet someone who you can bare your soul to
and accept you for what you are.
I've been waiting, for what seems like a very long time,
to get beyond what I am.
With Kristen Bella I feel like I can finally begin.
So I'd like to propose a toast to my beautiful bride.
No measure of time with you will be long enough.
 But let's start with forever."

4. Cannes.
Major Saptastic.
Always.
Forever.
And no matter how the Fringe wants to spin it...
They can't deny what we all saw.
Sapilicious.
Saptacular.

Rob and Kristen make me sappy.
In a good way.
In a wonderful way.
In a smiley, giddy, twirly way.

And that's a great way to end this post.

So until next time...

Bye for now

  1. I think "asstard" and "saptacular" may be 2 new words added to my vocabularly; one will come in handy whilst driving! Lol

I was listening to a few songs on the Breaking Dawn soundtrack last night driving home from work. Its definitely my least favorite soundtrack of the films, but when turning page & flightless bird came on, I got all sappy and wanted to watch it. I may have to do that this weekend :)

Oh and that Etalk interview was all kinds of funny and cute! They give good banter and they have great laughs.

Hi to all the regs! Hope u are all doing well!

  2. Hiya, I always read your blog but have never commented before. I just wanted to say that when I watched the comic con I really liked the way that during the press conference kristen faced rob the whole time and when she goes 'sorry but rob was talking to me and I didn't hear your question' I think this demonstrates the robs ten bubble in full force. Anyway I really love your blog and agree one hundred percent with all the things you say about the fandom. Some of us just want to appreciate the films, books and actors without all the drama xxxv

  3. Ah, Rose!
    What a wonderful Tuesday Treat!

And WTH? Where in the world do these Lunatic Fringe-dwellers get their reasoning? Playful, funny banter is just - AGH - playful, funny banter! Get a grip, goofballs! I do like the term asstards - a friend of mine would say f***tards. That works, too.

And I do love the word SAPTACULAR. That's just what life is, lately! :-)

Hope everyone is having a great day - rain for those who need it, warmth for those who need it, cool breezes for those...you know the drill.

Groovie - I get the same way when Turning Page comes on - and Flightless Bird - well, just love it. Seems like every time I'm in a department store I hear A Thousand Years, too.

  4. Great post, Rose!
Agree with you about the lunatic fringe!

    Have a great day/evening everybody :)

  5. I love Sap and feeling sappy and Rob and Kristen never fail to make me feel this way when I see them together!! The way they joke with one another just shows how comfortable they are with each other, my hubby and I say things like that to each other, I think most people secure in their relationship act like that.?

Groovie you must be a bit like me with driving, it's always good to have a new word to use to vent your frustration! lol

Have a great day everyone ;)

  6. ha ha ha you know until you mentioned what the fringe was thinking after the pics , i was awww-ing as i watched the pics because that exchange was too cute and funny ,there's such an underlying current of intimacy in their exchange and their looks, its such a jarring contrast with what those crazies took from it ,it left me confuse for a sec like how do they derive that from this sweet moment!
i'm in a sweet mood myself after watching the youtube clips of breaking dawn comic-con press and fan panel, i even cried a bit as i realized this was the last time we'd see them at CC and get great lines like "keep it in your pants" you could always count on robert to not say much, mumble a lot only to let slip an unrated goodie!!and once again kristen did most of the talking, kinda sad they didnt ask mackenzie a lot of question and was impressed to see all those vampire witnesses on stages esp the brazilian clan they look like top models! but i don't think i saw garrett not sure he got cast either?) november will be sweet cannot wait!!!

  7. I think the lunatics out there try to grasp onto anything they can to keep their delusions alive no matter what. It is just sad ti say the least that they can't see what is right in front of their eyes. I guess they live in the land of denial. Everything in your post I totally agree with. Keep up the good work.

  8. Awww, I love the sweet, sappy, giddy, twirling happiness....how can anyone not love seeing two people so wonderfully happy together?? Melty is a good discription all around today Rose....if we're going to be puddles from the heat, they might as well be sap puddles, right?

Happy Tuesday everyone, I hope you all have a great week!! :D

  9. Excellent post, Rose

Have seen that Etalk interview more times that I want to admit, but each time I watch it, it gets better and better the way Rob and Kristen interact with each other...the teasing between them is just so damn ADORABLE and CUTE, how can someone watch them and think otherwise is beyond me. The only problem I see with that interview is that is too short.

Oh my, that pic of Rob in a tux...rawrrr

    Take care everyone

    ReplyDelete
  10. Clearly clearly, there are those who live to create drama and strife where none is evident. They are completely and utterly smitten with each other!

I love how he checks her out while stating, "My priorities changed." ...

Take care Rose, Smitty & Gruff, and sweet Syd...

Annie, cupcakes in the park sound heavenly!

  11. I just had to say that my hubby and I talk like that to each other all the time in fun and always have. Poor asstards (my new favorite word) just obviously don't have happy relationships so they don't get the banter. LOVE your blog! Rob & Kristen just couldn't be anymore ADORABLE!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Love them, and love this post!

  13. Thanks for the SAPTACULAR post, Rose!

Loved the ETalk interview and laughed right along with Rob and Kristen. They seem to crack each other up all the time, and it's the cutest thing to see as a fan.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I never understand how anyone can watch Rob and Kristen interact and not smile. They just get each other completely and it's a joy to see :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Love the sap, Rose and I have been overflowing with it since CC.
I so have to agree that Kristen was glowing that day. I am so impressed with the passion and loyalty she has for the things in her life and I'm quite certain Rob is on the top of her list. As I am sure she is on the top of his list.
You would have to be pretty dense to not see this or you just like to bitch. It really isn't about being a fan of Rob or Kristen. They aren't here to celebrate anything about these two. Who spends each day thinking of mean things to say about someone. What an incredible waste of time! There must be some sort of pathology for this behavior.
Which is why I come here...light, fun and enjoying the adorableness that is Rob and Kristen. So glad that you attract like-minds to this site.
    Litmom,
    I prefer f***tards. Great word.

  16. Dreamerkind,
Thanks for your sweet comments, and THANKS for "Marry Me a Little"! I LOVE, LOVE Company!
The first time I saw that show was right after Sox and I got married -- a tour came through Austin, and we saw it then. I've always loved Sondheim! When my daughter was doing dance competitions, she did a lot of musical theatre numbers, and Sondheim was her "go-to".
    :-) :-)

  17. Happy Tuesday!

It's more than obvious that Rob and Kristen adore each other. They seem more united than ever. The people who don't see it just don't want to.

I love the wedding scene, too. God bless Bill Condon! :)

    Hugs and Hellos to all!

Cupcakes in Central Park, that sounds divine, along with some wine, fruit of the vine, yes, I pine!

    @Litmom
Yikes, about the weddings in rapid succession! I had the good sense to get remarried twice (right), and have the weddings YEARS apart, for hopefully I had learned a thing or two after them (LMAO).

I recall you mentioning a musical theatre background, and that song "Marry Me A Little" was from "Company". Usually I look for some special ones to post for your enjoyment now that I know that about you, and also how feisty you said you are because I need me some more feisty folks in Roseland.

  24. Hi Melinda! Like you, I'm so anxious to see OTR and Cosmopolis on the big screen ( I greatly enjoyed Bel Ami on demand, but realized it wasn't the same experience!)...

My baby comes home in about a week and a half... After an initial bout of homesickness (& breaking my heart!), she appears to have settled in, as I haven't heard from her in 4 days! #very proud mama

  25. Litmom, you speak the truth!!

  26. (editing my previous comment after pondering things...)

Love the happy sappy and melty. I pity people who don't get what banter in a relationship is all about. Neither is disrespecting the other. After 4 years they are still flirting. It's sweet and cute and make plenty of people smile.

Annie- cupcakes in the park sounds fun for a birthday celebration.

Kenzz- Glad you and the hubs had a fun time on vacay. How many more days till your baby comes home??

Rhonda- I hope you are doing good. Feel like I haven't talked to you in forever.

Jealous of those of you who have had a chance to see OTR and Cosmopolis already. My body is ready! They need to get here...

Happy days and nights to all!

  27. Thanks Rose, I'm all for sap. Also thanks for some new words to add to our vocabularies. You always come up wtih such good stuff.

How anyone can watch those videos and not know that they are joking is beyond my wildest imagination. Is it just me or does the arguments the nonnies use sound like an Elementary School playground during recess. Teacher, I heard Rob, he said he wanted someone to knock Kristen off her chair. I saw Rob he wanted to slap her. Rob hates Kristen. Kristen told Rob to STFU, I'm telling. LMAO

Rose you said it best,"it was right in front of the camera, it was on both of them the whole time." Is anyone with a tiny piece of brain matter going to say something like that on National TV when doing an interview with the interviewer right in front of them. Duh? Not to mention that it would be a really stupid thing to say if you're the hottest actor/actress in demand right now. That's always a good thing to do for anyone's career, threaten someone and show hatred. Roll Eyes. “Some people should come with a *brains not included* sticker”..not my quote but whoever said it, I agree.

Haters may prefer to live in their land of make believe filled with hate, bitterness, and jealousy, but I prefer to live where love dwells. It's easy to see when you love instead of hate. It's right before your eyes everytime you see Rob and Kristen...it's bright, it shows in their smiles, their laughter, their stares, their touches..if you watch and pay close attention, you can see what is being said without words.

Rose you mentioned Tom and what an incredible father he must be, I agree. I bet they are spoiling little Marlowe. She's very blessed to have so many people who love her. I wish them and their new bundle of love, all of life's greatest blessings.

Litmom, I agree Kristen and Rob both need to keep on doing what they are doing. It's working for them...We all can see the love and happiness between them. The nonnies see it too, if they didn't they wouldn't be so filled with anger and jealousy. How can you hate something you don't see....

Hi to everyone here in Roseland. Sorry for my long post. I warned everyone that I was a talker, sorry!!!

  28. Kenzz I hope your daughter's trip is an amazing experience. Sweet 16!

Melinda, "My body is ready." :DDD You're so funny!

My guys will be back next Monday. Mr Dottie and I have enjoyed our empty nest but we've missed the hustle and bustle and noise. I even miss their friends coming over and eating all our food!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Kenzz- Hoping that the week and a half flies by for you! She'll be home before you know it but what a cool experience for her.

I love FBAM. Still to this day the prom scene is my favorite scene in the series. Love that BC used that song in another monumental scene in the series.

I've got to go try to find hotel accommodations for my trip to Canada (specifically Quebec City) next month.

    Until next time, take care...

  30. Hey Dottie! I was typing as you were posting it seems.

My body is ready. Glad we have an actual date for Cosmopolis but ffs could we get a date for OTR already??

They both look so good and so different from what they've done so far. Excited for sure! And seeing Tom in OTR is a double bonus!

Okay now I need to get. I've gotten hotels for all the other places we are hitting up on our vacation but this one is creating a problem so far. It'll work out I'm sure, I just don't like getting to close and not having as many options...

    Have a great night!! :)

  31. Oops forgot to say Dottie that I hope this week goes fast for you too.

Hustle and bustle and noise are good! Means life is being lived, yes??

How exciting, Quebec City! That is where my French ancestors are from and I long to go there. Do me a favor? Say "bonjour from DK" to any lady of a certain age that you see, who's wearing a cool hat, for it may be my cousin! (Have a glorious trip and please share when you return or even during.)

    @Oneheart
I adore your talkability, since it appeals to my zanybrainy. You always put the fringe on the top of the surrey, where it flaps against the wind, without end. <3

    @Kenzz
Having a 16 year old daw is an emotionally moving experience for a mother, witnessing the changes that are happening to her, while you both are clinging to the old ways of relating. I could weep at the sheer joy and jolt of it, as you write. (They do return to us in a similar way I have found, when they are over 21.) [Hugs]

    @Super
We learn so much here all of the time, and even more when we are sharing wine. It's been a long time since the regs have popped a cork in Roseland during a chat fest. Hmm. ."Ole!"

    More new words, maestro, please.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Melinda, Good luck on getting your accommodations. I look forward to hearing about your trip. Yes, hustle and bustle are good. I like it when the house is full of life.

Gotta run now. The hubs wants to watch a movie & I have to oversee the choice or we'll end up watching an old western. ;)

    I haven't lived one day

    You're never gonna take
    No wedding vows
    Come on, Bill

    So come on, Bill
    Come on and marry me

    No Particular Place To Go

    Chuck Berry (French TV):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtKcdzaqq40

    Ridin' along in my automobile
My baby beside me at the wheel
I stole a kiss at the turn of a mile
    My curiosity runnin' wild
    Cruisin' and playin' the radio
With no particular place to go

    Ridin' along in my automobile
I was anxious to tell her the way I feel,
So I told her softly and sincere,
And she leaned and whispered in my ear
    Cuddlin' more and drivin' slow,
With no particular place to go

    No particular place to go
So we parked way out on the Kokomo
The night was young and the moon was gold
So we both decided to take a stroll
Can you imagine the way I felt?
I couldn't unfasten her safety belt!

    Ridin' along in my calaboose
Still tryin' to get her belt aloose
All the way home I held a grudge,
    For the safety belt
    That wouldn't budge
    Cruisin' and playin' the radio
With no particular place to go

I will be by your side..
There is a light, that shines,
    special for you, and me..

    Yo, yo, check it
    It's important, we communicate
and tune the fate of this union, to the right pitch
I never call you my bitch or even my boo
There's so much in a name and so much more in you
Few understand the union of woman and man
And sex and a tingle is where they assume that it land

But that's fly by night for you and the sky I write
For in these cold Chi night's moon, you my light
If heaven had a height, you would be that tall
Ghetto to coffee shop, through you I see that all
Let's stick to understandin and we won't fall
For better or worse times, I hope to me you call

So I pray everyday more than anything
friends will stay as we begin to lay
this foundation for a family - love ain't simple
Why can't it be anything worth having you work at annually
Granted we known each other for some time
It don't take a whole day to recognize sunshine

    Yeah.. yo, yo, check it
It's kinda fresh you listen to more than hip-hop
and I can catch you in the mix from beauty to thrift shop
Plus you ship hop when it's time to, thinkin you fresh
Suggestin beats I should rhyme to
At times when I'm lost I try to find you
You know to give me space when it's time to

My heart's dictionary defines you, it's love and happiness
Truthfully it's hard tryin to practice abstinence
The time we committed love it was real good
Had to be for me to arrive and it still feel good
I know the sex ain't gon' keep you, but as my equal
it's how I must treat you

As my reflection in light I'ma lead you
And whatever's right, I'ma feed you
    Digga-da, digga-da, digga-da, digga-digga-da-da
Yo I tell you the rest when I see you, peace

There are times.. when you'll need someone..
I will be by your side..
There is a light, that shines,
    special for you, and me..

(I'll) take my chances.. before they pass..
.. pass me by, oh darling..
You need to look at the other side..
    You'll agree

    Thank you/ BVMUndergroundHipHop

  45. Leaving tomorrow for NYC, to become a famous mixologist at a 5 star bar!

I'ved created fresh, healthy lemon/blueberry martinis and fresh lime frozen gin gimlets, and next a fresh banana split rush!

Miss ya, already, as fame beckons.

  47. Hi everyone. I hope you are all well.

Super – hope you feel better soon. It sounds like it’s been hanging on for a while now. Take care of yourself.

Melinda – good luck with your hunt for a hotel in Quebec City. It’s a beautiful city with some great restaurants. If you don’t have success finding a place, let me know. I can make some inquiries with some of my colleagues in Montreal who might know of some places.

DK – congratulations on the news of your daughter’s engagement. You will be the belle of the ball at two weddings. Thanks by the way, for Wedding Bell Blues. I used to love to sing that song when I was young. Good memories. .

Katy – loved your take on Cosmopolis. I totally agree!

Dottie – I’m sure the empty nest time has been great, but I’m sure you’ll also be glad when your guys get home. Safe travels for them.

Kenzz – how have you been? Long time no talk to. I’m glad you had a nice vacation. I’m sure your daughter is missing you too. When she gets home, I’m sure she’ll bend your ear with all the details. Is this the trip that you told us about a while ago that she had been selected for? If so - boy the time has gone quickly.

Love that picture of Rob. That seems like a good way to sign off this post.

Have a great rest of the week everyone.

You are so fine, to think I'll be a belle of any kind, more really like the ball, that bounced so high, it hit the sky. Over the moon, this cow will jump, hey diddle diddle.

With little sleep last night, I may take flight or fall asleep, head on laptop tonight.

However, if S & G come by, I'll awake, no matter how or why.

JK, not going to sleep yet, trying to make homemade caramel sauce for some reason, against my reason.

  50. Who knew, so true? I am channeling Bridget Jones because I read her diary again recently. Expect some Mr Darcy to appear after I have my pretzel crusted, salty caramel banana sundae. (Going away for a while, ha, ha, hee, hee, ho, ho, to the funny farm, where life is free!)

    Night, lovelies.

Smitty & Gruff, ya'll stop by, ya hear? Syd, I feel a song coming on for you.

  51. Hello, Roseland!

The ETalk interview was the best...how anyone could look at that and criticize, well, they live a life I would never want. The Hubs and I joke like that all the time, you can't take life so seriously!

Love the wedding scene, seeing Charlie's face breaks my heart. And Flightless Bird - Wedding version - tears.

Finally, Cannes, if you were rational, seeing that video should have erased any doubt, if you had any. So sweet!

    Good night, folks!

  52. DK,
So is it NYC or San Francisco? You made me thirsty and hungry this morning although they are not my typical breakfast fare. You were on a roll last night. Loved the music, had never listened to Common. Sweet dreams!

  53. Good Morning!

I'm with Birdie, DK - are you headed to NYC or San Fran (with flowers in your hair)? Either, or both - sounds awesome.
Daughter and I wanted to sneak up for Labor Day, but it's not happening. Wanted to hit up a few shows...next Spring, maybe.
San Francicsco? I've never been! Never been to Cali, can you even???

Loved the 5th Dimension, and loved your music. Thanks!

And Kenzz - wait until she goes off to college! Or moves away to work on a cruise ship (one phone call a week if you're lucky!)! Or moves to NY! OR GETS MARRIED! They do grow up... way, way too fast.

That roll you mentioned took me downhill fast. Maybe will have to go to both since I am in such high demand. Yeah, must change up that oatmeal breakfast once in a while, and listen to inspired rap.

    @Litmom
For sure, with flowers in my hair or on my hat.
Does the nagging worry ever end about our family? My son took a weekend motorcycle safety class and guess what? He bought a motorcycle. Of course. Que sera.

Enjoy your moments, fine folks of RL.

  57. Hi all, I hope everyone is having a good week...

Melinda- I'm doing good, thanks so much for asking. How are things with you? Planning a trip, I see. I was in Canada back in May, and it was a lot of fun. I know you'll have a great time :)

Kenzz- I bet your daughter is missing you too. Just think how much fun it'll be catching up with her once she gets home. Hang in there ;)

Freddie- I hope things are calming down for you at work.

    DK- you are delightful <3

  58. Happy Hump Day! I hope the week has been good for everyone so far.

DK, You were on a roll last night! San Fran is one of my favorite cities. You'd fit right in there! LOL

Well, I nodded off a bit during the Michael Caine movie last night BUT then Mr Dottie put on "Drive" and I woke right up again. It's a good one!

Disclaimer: I have nothing against Michael Caine. That particular movie just wasn't my cup of tea. No offense intended to Mr Caine or anyone who might be a fan. ;)

    Much love to all!

WOW! Pic Robert BOND Pattinson is breathtaking!

Oooh... silly people ...knows nothing! Deceiving themselves to have a little momentary satisfaction that does not really satisfy and never will satisfy ... it's not?
Is visible to notice the huge level of trust, complicity and harmony (almost telepathic) between Rob and Kristen ... Rob makes a joke that imitating a slap ... Kristen does NOT MOVE one millimeter in your place ... not scared ... not sad... just laughed ... laughed... is as if she knew, she always knows ... knows how he thinks ... and ... Rob said already: "Kristen understand me better than anyone else" ... in point.

DK... Congratulações... daughter’s engagement! It's so great!
"...Blueberries for the brain. Lemons for the kidneys. Limes for the alkalinity. Bananas for the pot. Apples to distract doctors..." I like it! Powerful and delicious mix! Must!

    Happy Thursday guys!

  60. Hey Rose!

Just wanted you to know that the effort you put into communicating with this particular fandom is more appreciated and cherished than you will probably ever know. I have been a long time lurker, but felt the need to make my presence known due to your dedication and obvious passion for Rob & Kristen.
DK - I would like to dedicate the song "Mad Love" by Neon Trees to our favorite couple. It seems to correlate with Rose's post, and always makes me think of Rob & Kristen

    Mad Love

    Neon Trees:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49-nrJpLqU8

    Nothing you could do
    could ever stop my baby
    Nothing you could say
    could tear us two apart
    We've got all the spark
to set this place on fire
    We got making love
right down to a fine art

    Nothing you could do
    could ever stop this feeling
    Nothing in the world
    could ever shake us up
We've got all the stuff to
break all of the rules, yeah
    We've got all the stuff
to mess all of you up

We got a mad, mad love
We got a mad, mad love
We got a really, really, really,
    really, really, really, really,
    mad love

    Nothing you could do
    could ever stop this burning
    Nothing you could say
    could ever stop this fire
    Tell me I'm a fool
    for everything that we do
    Tell me we're a mess
    and I'll tell you you're a liar

    When you're sad you can
put your head on my shoulder, oh yeah
    And maybe together we can
    grow a little bit older

We got a mad, mad love
    (When you're sad you can
Put your head on my shoulder)
We got a mad, mad love
    (And maybe together we can
    grow a little bit older)

    We got a really
    Mad love
    Nothing you could do
    Could ever stop my baby
    Nothing you could say
    Could tear us two apart

    Thank you/notlivera

  73. This Song Will Last Forever

    Lou Rawls:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TG-ocyaBaIo

    This song will last forever
    After we’re dead and gone
    You know the melody
    Will linger on and on
    I’m talkin’ about this song
    It’s gonna last forever

    Generations come and generations go
But they dance to the same music
And fall in love as they go
    Songs like Tangerine
I’m In the Mood for Love
    I wonder how many people
    Have danced across the floor

    I wonder how many
    Violins have played
To the melody to My Way
    While lovers sit
    Lovers sit by candlelight
And how many songs about June
    While people swoon
By the light of the silvery moon

    You know there’s a song
    For every thought
    And every special occasion
    There’s a song for resistance
And there’s a song for persuasion
    There’s a song for pain
    And pleasure
    Stormy and sunshiny weather
    Gonna be around forever

Songs like When I Fall In Love
Songs like You Send Me Baby
    Songs like Wake Up Everybody
    Songs like I Love Music
    Songs like Tabacco Road
    Songs like Natural Man
    Songs like Dead End Street
Songs like Loves A Hurtin Thing

    This song will last forever
    After we’re dead and gone
    You know the melody
    Will linger on and on
    I’m talkin’ about this song
    It’s gonna last forever

Songs that make you wanna dance
    All night long
    Talkin about this song
    Talking bout this
    Sooooong
    Whoa this song
    This song, this song
    This song

    Thank you/ejxit

    Into The Light

    Siouxsie & The Banshees
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-V588goTXw

    Into the line
    I see it fine
    Into the line
    Our hearts entwine
    Remember when
    Your time again

    Standing in the light
    Always sitting on the line
    Never on a side
    Always wanting to be right

    Pushing out the light
    Standing in the light
I never wanted to be right
Now I'm attracted by the light
    And blinded my the sight

    Into the light
    I see it fight
    Into the light
    A new horizon
    Bleached into white
    Kept out of sight

    Dead ahead in the night
    Burning in the light
    And knowing that it's right
    Driving in the night
    Dead ahead in the light
    Into the light

  75. Better From Rob's Mouth

    Talk To My Heart

    Tina Turner:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnWRTT7A8E4

    I found a friend
    Someone to help me
And a place I can be myself
    When I'm in trouble now

I've lost it and I don't know how
    I come to you 'cause
    You can show me
Get me back to the me
    I know with a remedy

    Baby I need your therapy
With your healing kiss you know
How to make my mind relax
I will listen to the words
You say and just lie back

    Talk to my heart
    That's where real talkin' starts
    Words of love
That cut straight to my heart
    Reach out and touch
So few words say so much

    I can hear you
When you tell it like it is
    When you talk
    Straight to my heart

I guess it shows I need attention
    Somehow you're asking
    All the right questions
    That I've gotta say
What's been on my mind these days

    And I know you know
Just how to make my mind react
When it's coming straight from you
That's my first point of contact

    I'm bad at making decisions
    But being alone with you
Just feels so right, feels so right
    I'm losing my inhibitions
    With every minute
    I share with you tonight
    Share it with you tonight

    Talk, talk to me
To my heart, to my heart, oh yeah
Come one, come on and reach out
'Cause the words just mean so much
    I can hear you
When you talk right to my heart

    Talk to my heart
    That's where real talkin' starts
Words of love that cut straight
    To my heart
    Reach out and touch
So few words say so much

    I can hear you
When you tell it like it is
When you talk straight to my heart
    I can hear you
    I can hear you

  78. Hi everyone. Hope you all are having a good weekend. DK enjoying your song choices.

Praying for all the families and friends of those who lost their lives or were injured in the shootings in Colorado. Also those who were attending the theater as well because they have to be affected by this as well. I can't imagine what they are going through. May God watch over them and give them strength during this time.

  79. Hi gang,

Just poppin by to say hello. Been a sad end to the week with the shooting in CO. What a horrible thing. This world is so screwed up. I'm wishing peace for all the families of those who died and for the ones injured. I can't imagine what the shooters family is going through as well. It is a hard time for all involved.

DK- I will certainly say hello for you if I see any spunky fun ladies wearing hats in QC for I'm sure they must be related to you.

Great song choices of late. I'm always happy to hear anything from the 50/60's era. Some of the best music, imho.

Freddie- Thank you for the offer of help. We finally booked something yesterday. We will be in Toronto for a couple of days so if you would like to give me some names of great eating establishments and things to do I would be grateful! Hope you are doing well!

Rhonda- Glad things are good with you. Life keeps us busy sometimes.

So the TCA's are tonight. Wasn't planning on watching it and I guess now I will since Rob and Kristen will be in attendance. See if they won, which I'm guessing they did if they are going. Hope they have fun with it!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Back to the grind tomorrow. Wish the weekends were longer...
