Epically Normal

Look at her.
Glowing.
Radiant.
Love does wonderful things... Doesn't it?

Kristen won a couple of awards at the
Nickelodeon's Kid Choice Awards.
No, not a big deal in terms of awards...
But big stars seem to come out for this show.
Maybe they like getting slimed?
Anyway...
Kristen looked GORGEOUS!
The clothes she was wearing were cute and appropriate
Her hair was stunning...
And her makeup?
Flawless.
She hung out with Katy Perry
(whom she is obviously buddies with)
And gave big bear hugs
to both Sandra Bullock and Neil Patrick Harris.
It was nice to see her so happy.

We all know WHY she's so happy...
Now that Rob is back in LA.
Back home.
With her.
Together.

Because that is the way they
ALWAYS end up...
Isn't it?

My super special prediction
has always come true!

I see Rob and Kristen always ending up TOGETHER!

And that brings us to...

Pictures of Rob and Kristen out and about on Friday night.

Obviously...
They are...
(say it with me people!)

STAGED!!!

Of course they are!

Sure.
Ok.

Now there was a lot of chatter about these pictures
Naturally.

"They look miserable! I don't see the EPIC LURVE"
"You know Ruth is around there somewhere"
"Rob didn't even get in the car with her
They just staged it and he went his own way"
"I think they are on a date!"
"Rob got candy maybe they went to the movies!"

Well.

They don't look miserable.
They look like two people walking
who see some asshats with a camera.
If you look at celebrity couples out and about...
As soon as they see the cameras
They usually separate and put the game face on.
So...
I'm not sure why people keep expecting
Rob and Kristen
to be all smiley and hanging on each other.
Do you walk down the street all smiley?
If you saw assholes
(And who knows what they were shouting at them)
pouncing on you as soon as you step out the door
Would you be all lovey dovey?
So give it a rest, already.
That horse is dead.
As for Rob not getting in the same car as Kristen?
Really?
Um...
For one thing...
It's her blue pickup truck he's getting into.

And honestly...
(who throws a shoe)
He is getting in on the PASSENGER side.
Who do you think is driving?

As for the movies or whatever
they may or may not have been doing.
I mean... it's very possible they
went to a movie... or out to eat.
Or just on a candy run...
Nice thoughts.
Does it matter?

Just look at the pictures again...
What do you see?

A normal couple
out enjoying a Friday night
TOGETHER.

So simple.
So true.

That's all it was.
It wasn't EPIC.
It was just a night out.

TOGETHER.

Because let's face it...
That's exactly where
 Rob and Kristen
want to be.

This post is brought to you by the letter F

FANfuckingTASTIC.

  2. Fanfuckingtastic! love you, Rose and love this! Friday date night is perfect.

Really, Kevin, why are you even here? Ahh, you must have missed the first pics of Kristen being miserable at the KCA.

  3. OMG I had my evil laugh rolling reading your post!!!!
    Bwahahahahahaha this is so GOOD!
And the end of your post it's the EPIC stuff!

  4. Thanks for deleting the troll again, Rose ;-).

GREAT POST, Rose! Perfectly stated. Truth Is Truth!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Hmmm, Rose maybe you're a psychic after all.
It is funny that from those pap pics people can conclude diametrically opposite things. Some say they were affectionate, which they were not & some (we know who) that they looked miserable & the whole thing was staged, intentionally overlooking the paparazzi aspect & the affect it probably had on them. The truth is in the middle, it was a casual stroll down the street. Surely people don't expect them to be over affectionate when they walk out, those things take place inside their house when they're alone or in the presence of friends & family. One more reason for them not to be like that is the fact they're famous & people easily recognize them.

  6. Luv U Rose, you always make me smile,ok you make me fking LOL...TY!

  7. You all are doing a good. I was telling all the Robsten websites and blog fans are doing a great job on you trying to keep the trolls aways. Keep up the good work. I was giving Robsten Daily a good remark. Again good job Rose.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Rose- Don't let those jerks get to you. Good job on your blog.

    ReplyDelete
  9. So what is everyone doing for Easter? I wondering what is Rob and Kristen doing for Easter too.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I was wondering which troll you were referring to. I saw it now.

  11. to me they look great and normal, it the pappz that got them pissed, the girl aod, rob was teling the paps to eave them alone, but f curse their are the ppl who claim the girl was lying, they say it august this contract ends, it's august already, i just want these doubting to be over, not kristen to much but rob, he never have sexx, or i forgot! he's got a F buddy, geez ad who is she???

  14. I absolutely love your blog and tweets! Thx for all you do and for the time you spend telling it like it is...Kris and Rob always end up together!!!

    ReplyDelete
  15. @Vangie
People who doubt them being a couple & support the PR theory won't quit after August. It's like a mantra to them, a habit, they've been saying it since the beginning (most of them). Do you think they'll suddenly have an epiphany & start thinking clearly? I highly doubt it.

  17. @Rose - awesome post as always. I like the normal aspect - it tells it all doesn't it, just a normal couple doing normal things. Yes - the lunatic continue to stay pressed - so hard to be angry - sizzle sizzle. She was so happy and having so much fun at the KCA's - Rob being home and with her does it for her :)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Rose love your post..was looking forward to it and as usual didn't let me down. I especially loved this and I agree 100% "I see Rob and Kristen always ending up TOGETHER!"

    ReplyDelete
  19. @Kevin - does Scott in Bullhead City, Arizona know you are using his picture for a game of Catfish? - maybe I should send him an FYI

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yes, epic it was, but... was it really?
What we saw during the last few days isn't what always happens with those two? They are doing their public appearences looking stunning (like Kristen did in KCA) and then they spend as much time they can, because of their job obligations, together, actinc normal, acting whenever they can as a young couple who is in love. Normality is something they don't always achieve, because of the fans and, worse yet, because of the paps, but they try. Remember what some girl in Australia said for Rob, that he felt good there because he was more free to act normal, like go for a walk or a ride with his bike without beeing constantly stalked?
I don't know if I make sense, but, yes, this couple is NORMAL and that's EPIC, because of the pressure they receive by many sides. That's in part why we love them, isn't it?

@Lizzied, I didn't reply to the previous post because I was out, away from my computer. Today we celebrate the Greek Revolution of 1821 against the Ottoman Empire. It was the revolution that resulted to the greation of the first Greek indepentend state of modern history in 1830. Don't ask me more because, as you may know, I've studied History at the University and I could talk for hours LOL

    Take care, all!

  21. Rose- I was getting advice from Robsten Daily. Her name is Lorna. What she did is this. She ban from people that trying to start trouble on her comments. Its suppose and alway be drama free. You might want to take her advice.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Stella- Good point there.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hehe....the blue truck...some of you know what this truck has been through some of you don't. Anyway, I do wish that they would just ONCE hold hands out in public but...am guessing that this isn't going to happen when they know that they have a camera taking pics of them. Oh well nice to see them just doing normal stuff. Candy eh? They obviously need energy I wonder for what?

    ReplyDelete
  24. @ Rose
Great post as always : )
I guess they don't understand what a NORMAL couple really looks like since they've probably never been part of one.

    @ Arleen
For Easter we have a family dinner and I hope the weather will cooperate.
As for Rob and Kristen the possibilities are endless : a trip to London ( but Robs probably tired of traveling still ) , Kristen cooking dinner for family at their home or maybe all their friends will get together somewhere....we will just have to wait and see I guess

    @ Ginger
The Catfish scenario popped into my head as well

    ReplyDelete
  25. Rose- amazing post as always.

The idiots think they will be able to convince Rob to leave Kristen. He doesn't care what the lunatics think. He loves Kristen and will continue to protect her.

    @Ginger- hey girl.

  32. STELLA -- Thanks for the brief history lesson, it helped me for sure.

Your comments about R & K were well said and I agree. They truly strive for normality ... I hope they can find that eventually -- someday when the paps will leave them alone.

I was in the grocery store earlier and have noticed for the past few weeks that there are very few mags with R & K on the cover like it used to be. This is a good thing!!! Saves us from hiding mags in the freezer, LOL.

LIZ IN LALA LAND -- TWIRLING!!! because Rob & Kristen ARE together...

  33. HAPPY MONDAY EVENING, ROSELAND!!!

ROSE -- Great post and didn't Kristen look lovely??? I just can't say enough about how happy she looked and also how relaxed. Yes, being in love does that.

It's true, going out to buy candies has never been so insane, two people, a couple, buying candies and so what? sigh... but everything RK do is like the 3rd world war, pr , contracts, beard, miserable together...

It does not matter, if they smile or not, it's all PR PR and PR and the bullsihit strict contract. LOL

Pathetic Rats are always there waiting to spread their poison!!!

Like DK, I've been lurking and mostly ignoring a lot of attention getting BS.

I don't know about everyone else...but, I have a hard time with those word and number verifications. Are you getting a lot of spam, Rose?

    Anywho....hugs!!!

  37. Hey Roseland!
Ah, so many visitors! Some old(Hello LJ! How wonderful to see you!),some supportive&happy(true Roselanders)and some just plain goofy.
I've seen hundreds of pictures from the KCA but WOW that first one? Isn't she lovely?
Hope you are all having a great evening.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Finally! I got to see On The Road today and oh wow, Kristen was fantastic! I agree with people who said once she leaves the scene you really miss her. The biggest and best surprise was Tom S, he was unbelievable! Thank God for on demand because I am watching it again. Rose your blog is great! Keep it real!

    ReplyDelete
  39. OTR not coming to my area. I don't have on demand, so will have to wait for DVD. I am sooo ready to see it!

    ReplyDelete
  40. TUF -- Eventually, Amazon should have OTR on VOD -- I watched BelAmi and Cosmopolis that way, you get it for 48 hours and can watch as much as you want.

When it becomes available on Amazon, I will post it here. I've been checking every day since last Friday, no luck yet.

  41. Hi Roselanders! Just got home from having time with my families. Its family night for us on Mondays. We went to the park where we could have a picnic while feeding the ducks. And then went to get ice cream. Anything new with Rob and Kristen. May be they are having time for themselves too.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I am enjoying the Utah's ice cream. What do you expect I live in a farm country.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Hi Arleen.

I'm glad you are enjoying your ice-cream in cold weather! Well, ice-cream tastes good in all types of weather. Tonight, my husband came back from the store with extra creamy vanilla ice-cream. A couple days ago, I had coconut ice-cream, and before that I had mango ice-cream. And yesterday, we walked to the Farmer's Market and I bought a strawberry ice-cream popsicle from an ice-cream cart. I just finished my dinner, and very soon tonight, I will have some cookies and cream ice-cream. I don't have much of a sweet tooth anymore, but I can never give up ice-cream. I love it. I can eat a lot of it. I always make sure I have some in my freezer :) Good evening to you.

    ReplyDelete
  44. You Go Rose!!! Dang that is a nice post!! I knew I was missing good things on the weekend. I love those pleasant, lovely pictures.

The KCA were so fun and wonderful to see Kristen so happy, a great night.

Rob is looking good, and they look so good together.

The evidence is piling up and up and up....soon to be a mountain of evidence that Rob & Kristen are together always.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Topaz Emerald- You can stop everything because of the weather that you enjoy your favorite stuff. If I were Rob and Kristen I would go camping if I were them.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Arleen - I do love the Nanny! I'm watching Dancing With The Stars.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Speaking of Tom Sturridge - I feel sympathy for him about "The Orphans". I wish Shai Labeouf hadn't quit or got fired from the play. Certainly, he would have been a draw for audiences. Hope all goes well for Tom with the play, I hope the play is a huge success.

    ReplyDelete
  50. arte

Don't worry about Tom. He has his own following and doesn't have to be a huge, perv.

    ReplyDelete
  51. artemisluvv- Sorry I miss that. Was out with my family at that time. Had a family night.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Hi Arte, I'd much prefer Ben Foster over Shia. Not only do I think he's a much better actor, he's much better looking, lol. Too bad I can't get to see it. Good evening to you.

    ReplyDelete
  53. tufe - Not sure what you meant? Tom has his own following, and SL is a huge perv? sorry confused

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hi Topaz - I'm not familiar with Ben Foster, glad to hear he might be better. I will check him out.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Arte, i love kirsten Dunst, and so I saw him in this comedy called Get Over it....

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0192071/

and here is a clip of him and Kirsten doing a midsummer's night dream scene....

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhjyZXJVm4w

I think you can watch some clips of the movie on youtube. I thought the movie was pretty funny.

  59. I had a great day. I took care of my two nieces as usually this morning. They are so adorable. Then clean my house. Then relax. Have a family night with my family. Went to the Logan, Utah Dam. As you all know the rest. I had a great day. Now I am tired.

  60. And at the same time I have been having problems with my gums. Its been killing me. Mostly sore and little bumps. Which nothing you can do. My husband thinks. I might have infection. I can't afford to go to dentist. So I took some Alieve and ice cream should help swell down on the bumps.

Meant that no one has to worry about how Tom S. will do in The Orphans now that Shia L. has left. Tom S. has his own following (Rose, us) and will be just fine. Shia to me has turned into a perv...performing intercourse for real on his movie.

    ReplyDelete
  63. One of my favorite Kirsten Dunst movies is Marie Antoinette.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Tuf, I saw Marie Antoinette with Kirsten Dunst. I really like her. She always brings a vulnerability to her characters. I think it's her eyes and her voice. She really knows how to play sad really well. Another one of my favorites of her is Crazy Beautiful.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Arleen, I am sorry that you're gums are hurting. I hope they feel better soon.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Arleen

salt water rinse might help. Also Anbesol for gum pain.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Topaz Emerald & tufenuf55- Thanks. It kinda feels like someone just punch me. That is what it feels like. More tinkling, sore, and alittle bumps on the upper gum. But I will try that salt. Thanks girls. Can't afford to buy anything. Sorry keeping our budget. You know how it is when people are tight. Was trying something like home remedy instead. But will try that salt thing.

  74. Good Morning, Roseland!

tuf - Dang! Wish I'd known about The Walking Dead marathon - I have never watched it, but have always wanted to - may have to tune in tonight, even though I missed last night. My daughter has a friend from college who is on the newest season (she's also on Once Upon a Time right now :-) ).

MG - I saw On The Road, too - on Sunday. SO amazing. Loved every second of Kristen's performance, and Tom was excellent, as well.

Pisteuo - I have trouble with the numbers and letters, too. Maybe I AM a robot.

Waves to the ladies here - hope your day is good. Also I got stuck working until 10 last night on a project so I watched OTR on demand, Kristen and Tom absolutely shined and I will be watching it again tonight as well as going to the theater this weekend

  83. ARLEEN -- Sorry to be so late in weighing-in on your mouth/gum problem. It sounds to me like an allergic reaction to something you have taken or something you've eaten. If it's a natural mouth sore issue, my dental hygeneist has told me that you can rinse for relief but that it will last 7 days. If it continues, then I would start eliminating any meds you're taking or maybe some foods. Sometimes we can become allergic to something overnight. One day you're eating strawberries and the next you can't eat them.

Hope you get some relief today.

  84. ALLEN25 -- Welcome to the party!!! We are usually a bit more "hospitable" but every now and then a party crasher spoils our fun. No worries!!! All will be well.

WE ALL LOVE AND RESPECT ROB & KRISTEN, together and separately.

LIZ IN LALA LAND --- TWIRLING BECAUSE TOM'S PLAY OPENS TODAY and I think we might see some traveling going on soon. Just a guess!!

  87. MORNING GINGER & ANNIE:

So, do we think our couple will be traveling soon to NYC? It just so happens that Marcus will be there also in the next day or so. Sounds like a plan to me. But what do I know ... they might have some work obligations that I'm not aware of.

IT'S STILL SNOWING HERE!!! Supposed to stop later today and maybe be gone by Easter. LOL, will be tough for the kids to hunt Easter Eggs in the snow, don't you think?

LIZ IN LALA LAND --- TWIRLING BECAUSE ROB & KRISTEN are TOGETHER!!!

    ReplyDelete
  88. @LIZZIED Hello. Thanks. Yes, I see some hospitable people here. Indeed, she is trying to get attention. She made a mess though here in the comments section.

I can't imagine an Easter egg hunt in the snow either. :)

  90. Wow, great post, Rose!!! It's so satisfying to read your posts. You refute all the craziness and irrationality so well.

And thanks for cleaning up the comments, too. It looks much nicer now :)

Waves to everyone... enjoy the day!!!

  91. ROB AND KRISTEN ALWAYS END UP TOGETHER! You ladies keep on twirling.

Somebody isn't happy with that. Pathetic, motherfucking little creep.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Yes, thank you so much to who ever cleaned up the mess. I'm really sorry about that. I had no idea she'd be so pathetic and making a mess here.

    ReplyDelete
  93. ANNIE -- Lucky you to see the play. We will expect a FULL review!!!

GINGER -- I'm so jealous of your seeing OTR ... I can't wait. Eventually, I'm sure it'll show up on Amazon VOD ...

    ROSE -- THANK YOU !!!

ALLEN25 -- Yea, that's a new thing for us here, we're usually pretty tame here, LOL.

I will be going straight from work and I tripled checked to make sure the ticket was in my bag! :)

    ReplyDelete
  98. @LIZZIED: Yep. I have seen you are all well behaved fans here which I like. Again, sorry about the mess in the comments.

@Katy: I had the same urge too, earlier. Those comments were pretty pathetic. Guess it satisfied her lunatic fringe of an ego.

    ReplyDelete
  99. ALLEN25 -- LOL - did you ever see the movie Field of Dreams? Remember the scene at the school where they are discussing the book burning, etc? The two ladies are nice and pleasant to each other and then all of a sudden, they turn on each other and want to take it outside, LOL. What I'm getting at is that "every now and then" that happens here. We all really try to respect everyone's opinions as long as they are respectful.

@Rose, you have it nailed again.
Our lovely couple buying sweets, stop the fucking presses as they are not smiling. Yeah well I'd be doing a hell of a lot worse if I had camera's stuck in my face, being shouted at by some vile low life vultures.
They are so sweet and endearing together and trying to lead a normal life, that it kills and pisses me off when they are so scutinized because of it.

The Walking Dead is not a 24 hour, several days. Begins at 8 pm each night. While the premise is about the dead becoming zombies, the stories between the characters is really awesome.

If you have Netflix, all of Season 1 and Season 2 are available, without commercials.

What part did/does your daughter's friend play.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Hey, Tuf -
Her name is Sonequa Martin-Green. She plays Sasha on TWD, and Tamara on OUaT. She and my daughter were both in the theatre/dance dept in college, and did several shows together.

Thanks, Rose - is the troll blocked now? I prefer peace and truth on here. Sigh. I'm not the confrontational type.

  105. Good Morning Roselanders!
I just got back from reading to my students. Hope everyone is ok. Hope our couple is doing ok. Spending with each other.
Annie- Thank you. I will get better.
Rose- Thanks for cleaning up that mess.

As for that jerk. You nothing but pure evil and bully. I don't believe he is 18 years old. So they say. If I were you Roselanders I would keep and protect our kids away from him.

As for everyone have a great day. Keep me posted on Rob and Kristen.

  106. LIZZIED- I am not allergic to any foods. Only on codeine and compazine. They hurt my chest. Those are only I am allergic too. Thanks for advice.

  107. HI EVERYONE..Topaz reading all your ice cream selections has me craving ice cream. You have enough different kinds you could start your own delivery business. LOL Sounds great. I loved the coconut ice cream it was good.

Litmom and Pisteuo I'm having trouble with the letters and number thing too...I must be a Robot. I had to keep chaning it last time three times before I got one I could read. LOL

I want to see OTR so bad..I know it will never come to my area so I will be watching for it on Amazon that's where I watched Bel Ami. I've heard only good things about it.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Arleen I'm glad I missed out on all the mess that Rose cleaned up.

    ReplyDelete
  109. ARLEEN -- The allergy thing ... what I was warning you about is that you might have a new allergy to something that you're not aware of. Hope it gets better soon.

    ReplyDelete
  110. ONEHEART -- How much snow do you have? I have about 8 inches at my house and here in town a little less. Still snowing lightly and windy but I think it's on its way out.

I keep watching for OTR to show up on Amazon also. Can't wait!!!

IS ANYONE else going to see THE HOST? I'm going Thurs. at 9:00pm, I can't wait, I loved the book.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Oneheart- I am glad too that Rose clean up that mess. I have fifteen year old daughter to think about. I don't want her to see that. He could be a child molester for all I know. And I know some of you have kids to think about. I told my husband about that idiot. He told me to watch out. And that is what I am doing. I enjoy Rose's blog. And I am on your sides.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Lizzied- I will try to my doctor when I can to see if I am allergic to foods. Or maybe see the dentist. The only thing I could think about is it might be the silver crown that I have. So I might want to check that. I have a friend that works for dentist maybe he can help with that. That is my guess. Before I move to Utah. I was living in LA. I was on Government assisted. I could only for go for what my insurance covered. It was before the California cut off for adults. He kept trying talk to me to save money or make a payment. When I can't afford. I was only going for that covered and I didn't have pay. He kept saying about silver crown. And the others like the real that doesn't covered. So I had to stick up for myself. To me they just wanted money. That is what I think. Hey I hear about some dentist try to scam people especially when they are on government assisted.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Oneheart - I'm so sorry you're still feeling badly. I hope they find out what's going on!

Arleen - I'm also sorry you're having trouble with your gums/teeth. I have had to have some of my crowns replaced - I did develop an allergy to the material that was used in crowns years ago, and it was affecting my gums. Good Luck!

    ReplyDelete
  114. Litmom I've had the hives since January and now they are getting worse. I just wish they could find what is causing them. I've been on predisone since November for my lungs and now for the hives..It is a wonder I haven't killed someone. The Predisone Snap as I call it can be deadly at times usually verbal. ROFLMAO

    ReplyDelete
  115. Arleen I agree no one needs to see that stuff. I don't have children but I wouldn't want them seeing things like you are talking about.

I'm allergic to nickle so when I had my knee replaced I had to go to a doctor in Tennessee to have it done since none of our hospitals had the type of knee for pts. who have nickle allergies. I think that every person who is going to have knee replacement should ask to be checked for nickle allergy, If I hadn't asked I would have had to have it redone in a few years.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Annie I am so excited for you..Please let us know what you thought. I am sure it is going to be great. Wishing Tom and the cast all the best.

  117. Hello everyone

    @ allen25
Welcome : ) like everyone said we get a drive by from haters usually when Rose does a new post but the last couple of days have been crazy.

    @ LIZZIED
I've also looked at several sites in hope of finding OTR - Amazon, Cinema Now even iTunes - I have directv and I don't know if they will eventually show it on pay per view but hopefully it will be available somewhere before the DVD comes out

I was also saying the other day that I hope R&K might travel to NYC for Tom's play and hang out with Marcus since he missed so much of the fun they all had

@ Ginger, Arleen, Litmom, Oneheart and anyone I missed
    Waves : ))))

    ReplyDelete
  118. Waves PamH I hope I get to see it before it comes out on DVD too. It's a bummer living so far away from the cinemas that have it.

    ReplyDelete
  119. ONEHEART -- I wasn't aware of your hives, OMG, that's awful. About 20 years ago I started having a rash on different parts of my body, itched like crazy. Nothing worked short of cortisone shots when it got really bad. HOWEVER, there is an anti-itch lotion in the pharmacy (without rx) called SARNA and it is a miracle. It works really well to keep down the itching.

They never figured out what caused mine and it still recurs sometimes.

PAMH -- Maybe if we all keep checking for OTR, it'll eventually show up.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Lizzied it is getting old and my doctor told me the same thing they may never find out what is causing it. The predisone takes it away but then it comes right back. I will have my husband pick up the Sarna for me today when he goes in Wal-mart with my honey do list. LOL He's calling checking on my every hour or so from work and each time he calls I give him another item. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  121. Lizzied our snow is just about gone. We didn't have over 3 or 4 inches and it started melting right away. I hope that is all we get until next winter. LOL I bet it is beautiful in your area right now. I think that mountain is beautiful no matter what season it is.

    ReplyDelete
  122. ONEHEART -- Not sure if WalMart will have it. Last time I got a new bottle, I had to ask for it in the pharmacy but it might have been CVS, can't remember.

Yes, I went to about 10 different dermatologists in the Charlotte area, had a HUGE brown bag full of sample creams, etc. etc. ... final diagnosis was "non-contact dermatitis" which is a catch-phrase for they don't know. You can't stay on the Pred forever. I was traveling once and mine got really bad so stopped at an Urgent Care and got a shot. Only had to do that twice. It eventually ran it's course but as I said before, still comes back sometimes but never as bad as before (running to knock on wood)!!!

    You hubs sounds sweet.

    ReplyDelete
  123. ONEHEART -- The sun is coming out!!! I'm blinded by the light, LOL. Yes, will be beautiful. Need to take pics tomorrow before it's gone.

I know this is a silly question but have you tried changing laundry detergent and dryer sheets, etc.? And bath soap? LOL, between you and Arleen today, we need to start a medical forum, sorry to laugh at your expense, hope it doesn't make you itch more.

    ReplyDelete

  124. I don't know about anyone else, but my husband and I don't walk around the grocery store smiling and acting all loved up either. What the H is there to smile about when one is selecting toilet paper and pickled beets for crying out loud? Ya get in and ya get out. Now if I bought some candy I might be smiling AFTER I got home. And (do not tell my husband) if I came home with Rob AND candy I'd be giggling all the way to the front door.
Okay, I admit it. If I went to Wal-mart with Rob I would probably be grinning from ear to ear and laughing like a hyena. But I don't share a tube of toothpaste or wipe up the sink after he shaves like I do my husband, either.

    Unfortunately. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  125. Frannie you are killing me. LOL No my husband and I don't go walking through the grocery store smiling from ear to ear. As a matter of fact he'll usual go off to the magazine rack and leave me on my own. Not much in a grocery store to smile at and all the people I pass don't smile either.

Loved this... " Okay, I admit it. If I went to Wal-mart with Rob I would probably be grinning from ear to ear and laughing like a hyena. But I don't share a tube of toothpaste or wipe up the sink after he shaves like I do my husband, either."

That's the truth Frannie it takes living with someone to truly know them.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Fucking lonnies...love your post Rose. You get me laughing all the time. I find it myself loving these two more. They are the highsest paid actors and what does Kristen drive??? a toyota pick up truck.

    ReplyDelete
  127. I've always used Tide and I use Bounce Dryer sheets but I was talking to my husband this morning I guess they could change an ingredient in it from time to time or my body might just become allergic to it. I also changed dish liquid from Palmolive to Dawn with the hand softening..I don't wash dishes that often because of the dishwasher but I do if there isn't many dishes. So I've thought about that too.

Lizzied put those shades on girlfriend before the light blinds you.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Angela that is what I love about them too. They are worth millions but they dress just like any of us would. They keep on wearing their favorite t-shirts even when they get holes and drive vehicles that we see everyday. I hope they never change. They show a good side of being famous. They stay true to themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Lizzied we've turned this place into the ER..

    ReplyDelete
  130. ONEHEART & FRANNIE -- Not only are we an ER but all picturing being in Walmart with Rob :-) Like you said, I'd be grinning from ear to ear like a hyena and giggling the whole time !!!

LOL, didn't they get that pickup truck from Craigslist? That is so cute about them. That's one of the reasons we love them. AND, what I really love that she's gotten to be an important "fashionista" on the red carpet and then she's back to her normal self the next day.

    ReplyDelete
  131. LIZZIED and Oneheart - y'all are killing me with the hives/allergy/detergent talk.

You're right, OH - the ER here at Rose's. My daughter has pretty severe psoriasis, so we've always used the "dye and fragrance free" detergents, etc - and the habit stuck even after she left home. When she was living in NYC, she developed an environmental allergy - she was literally allergic to the city. She had her psoriasis, excema, AND a skin infection on top of both of those. She looked like a leper, and was forced to go to auditions looking like that. She FINALLY found a doctor that had a miracle cure - a cream and a spray - $500 for each (she was uninsured at the time). We paid for it, though - it was worth it - worked like magic.

Speaking of snow - it snowed HERE - in ATLANTA - yesterday afternoon and this morning. I'm SICK of this.

Frannie - you're a hoot. Yeah, same here - I would be a little distracted if I were at Walmart with Rob.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I'd be walking so proud through Wal-Mart people would think I was on stilts. The hives wouldn't even bother me, I'd say what hives!!! No need for words the giggles would say it all.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Thanks Litmom I hadn't thought of the dye and fragrance free detergents..I'll get those too. My FIL has real bad psoriasis too. It's so bad when the skin starts peeling. Doesn't that skip a generation? It seems the doctor told my FIL that.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Snow in Atlanta this time of year is odd, isn't it Litmom? I'm ready for Spring...no more white stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Let me go on record by saying I'd be proud to walk through Wal-mart with Kristen too. She would be alot of fun...I'd guarantee the buggy boys would make sure we had a buggy if she was with me. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  136. Heck, oneheart - I would do ANYTHING with Kristen. She seems like the most fun friend ever.

Yes, snow is VERY odd this late in the year. Our Spring Break starts this weekend! And snow???

  141. Oneheart, she and her hubby are meeting us at the beach - and we're all bringing the dogs. Grits will meet Roux!

We'll head back to NOLA in May. Maybe even a couple of times :-).

    ReplyDelete
  142. Oneheart......Thank you and I will. :)

    ReplyDelete
  143. Wow that sounds like fun. I have a wedding to go to Saturday so that has sort of put a hinderance on my travel for Easter. It would be nice to go to the beach this weekend. If it is going to be 60+ here then it will be warmer at the beach. Have fun!!!

When do you go to London? Isn't it in June?

    ReplyDelete
  144. Annie I have never went to a Broadway Play but it is something I have always wanted to do.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Litmom- Thanks. Sorry I didn't get chance to respond. Had to get groceries. And took us soo long to organize the cupboards.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Litmom do you think the dogs will get along? Have they been around each other before. I have this vision of you running down the beach barely holding on to the leash as the dogs chase each other. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  147. PamH- I miss you too. And hi.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Oneheart,
No, the dogs haven't met yet, and we're really curious to see how it goes. Roux is still very much a puppy, and my daughter says her energy level is over the top. She goes to Camp BowWow every week just to get exercise so she'll sleep at night! Grits is very passive, and not very social when it comes to other dogs. Should be interesting...

When my daughter was in college, we used to go to NYC every summer so she could attend dance workshops, and we would see a couple of shows whenever we went. Then, when she lived in NYC, we would go visit her, and would treat her to a couple of shows. I really would like to get back up there one of these days! I've never been to LA, though - so I think I want to go there before I go back to NYC.

Yes, oneheart - we're still on for our London trip in June, even if Sox is unemployed. We had saved for the trip, and most of the reservations are already made - so we're committed. I'm getting pretty excited, but need to get my act together and get the last few arrangements locked down.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Hello all!

    @Litmom
Dogs, beaches, London! Things sound like they are moving on nicely for you and the hubs. :)

    @Oneheart
Always sending you well wishes. Wondering if the hives are really a simple allergy, like the dryer sheets, etc. as mentioned? Analyze the basics, right? ((Hugs))

    @Annie
I'll be thinking of you at Orphans. Have a lovely time.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I bet you had alot of fun going back and forth to NYC. I would never get my husband to drive in NYC..it isn't going to happen. He would do the tour group thing since he wouldn't be driving. He hated driving in Baltimore and I figure NYC traffic would be worse. I was lucky I got to go to LA even if it was on a tour. It was fun though we had alot of free time. He loved LA it was so different than were we live.

He is so funny his dad and him hated Vegas. Absolutely hated it.I loved it, the glitz and the shopping and people watching. I told them the next time I go it is with a group of girls. Trust me these two are not who you want to go to Vegas with.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Dreamer that hat avi suits you...it's mysterious and dazzling.

    ReplyDelete
  153. @Oneheart
Hats create mystery while hiding a multitude of sins, like wrinkles, a squint or a certain churlishness about the mouth. In any case, I woke up today and thought that was divine news!

    ReplyDelete
  154. Craving scrambled eggs with cheese, so will make them to please.

I'm glad to hear your daughter found something that controls her psoriasis watching my Mother deal with that all her life was hard sometimes, she has had it since she turned 7 and growing up in the 50s they didn't know how to treat her, I remember all my young life her being cover over almost all her body, luckily in the 80s we found a wonderful dermatolist who still takes care of my Mom to his day. With some great creams and Enbrel shot once a week the only places she has breakouts are in the areas we hold heat.

I'm with you Ladies a trip through any store with Rob and Kristen would be the best ever : )

@Tuf I was begging for that shot this morning when I called my doctor...now I'm not sure that is a good idea if it is that painful. I bet the pain is worth it to get rid of the itching. I've had numerous cortisone shots but never in my hip.

@Dreamerkind...A BERET..as in Green Beret..I like it. Do I get a Medal too.

    ReplyDelete
  178. I finally saw Cosmopolis and wanted to share my honest opinion. Keep in mind, I did not read the book.

Dialogue/Style: Obviously this was hard to understand because it’s full of metaphors. It’s almost Shakespearean and no one talks like that anymore. So almost immediately, I gave up trying to interpret the meanings. Instead, I focused on the tone of the movie steered by the acting and the direction. It was like watching a play in the theater. There is almost no background music to accompany the scenes.

Acting/Characters: The dialogue is not apparent, but as a viewer, I felt the need to connect with the characters on an emotional level, and I tried very much to absorb this through their facial expressions, gestures, and voices. On a scale from 1-10, I rate the acting a 5. From the start of the movie to the end, it felt like all the actors tried too hard to bring the bizarre characters to life. The acting didn’t feel real enough to me, at least on an emotional level. Isn’t this what film tries to accomplish for the viewer in a long span of 2 hours? For me, I’d rather read an intellectual book filled with metaphors than watch it portrayed onscreen because now you have to account for the acting and direction. And for me, every aspect of the acting was too mechanical. Therefore, I did not care for the characters during the movie or even at the end.

Direction: I never heard of David Cronenberg until he decided to make a movie with Robert in it. I did see The Fly as a kid, though I didn’t know he directed it. I saw it on TV on channel 2 or UPN channel 44 or something. I barely remember what that movie was about except that Jeff Goldblum’s character turns into an ugly fly. So back to Cosmopolis…..Eric Packer starts out saying he wants to get a haircut, gets in his limo and along the way encounters different bizarre characters and events. He has meaningless sex with some women, alien encounters with his wife, cries with a dead rapper’s bodyguard(?), gets creamed on the face, and later comes face to face with a psychotic man who’s been wanting to kill him. And does he die in the end or what? That wasn’t very clear. In every scene, it seems Eric Packer is trying to find some kind of meaning to life, or just to FEEL something. Throughout the movie, with each character encounter, it felt like he was trying to feel human by asking questions, by having sex, by wanting to have sex or trying to have an normal conversation with his bizarre wife, by shooting his hand, by shooting his loyal bodyguard, by wanting to get a haircut by a man who cut his hair when he was a boy, and even by putting himself at risk of getting killed……because all these things is what makes you human and what he does for a living as someone who supposedly represents the 1% of society is so desensitizing…..and this is so true because the 1% couldn’t care less about the well being of the masses as they see us all as their slaves. In real life, they are so far removed from the rest of society that I don’t think Eric Packer can be redeemed. But this movie tries to give you that bit of hope, I guess. But I felt the acting by all was too mechanical for me to feel sorry for Eric in the end. I didn’t care if he died.

Robert: Even though I didn’t like the movie, I’m glad he worked with Cronenberg, a director who I hear is well respected in the movie industry, because he got rave reviews by those snobby film critics who think they matter. But it's annoying that it had to take him working with Cronenberg for them to acknowledge that he is a good actor. I saw Water for Elephants, How to Be, Little Ashes, and Bel Ami, and part of Remember Me and I thought he did a good job, but oh no, damn those critics. So I think he is in the right direction. And I really can’t wait for The Rover. This is the kind of movie I had envisioned him doing.

  185. Didn't someone ask what everyone has planned for Easter?
Anyway, I have surprised myself by inviting my sister, bff, & other friend to join me for a PeaPod delivered Easter brunch (heat and eat). There will be ham, sweet poats, mashed, green beans, hawaiian rolls and cake! Impressing myself in a mediocre way, still amuses.

I HATE needles. I mean HATE! I had hives about a year before this and tried everything prescribed until I was about out of my mind. I told my doctor I didn't care how much it hurt, I wanted the shot. However, because I had waited so long, I had to have three of those shots within 7-10 days. But the quick relief I got was so worth it.

I don't remember the name of that shot just that the nurse said it was one of the most painful. The second time of hives, I had the shot right away, and they went away.
