Rob and Kristen- True Lies

Unwashed hair. Check. Suspenders. Check. Open toe slippers? Check. Cig. Check. Sunglasses. Check.
I never give them hell. I just give them the truth, and they think it is hell.
-- Harry S. Truman

TRUE-  I love Robert Pattinson. No, I'm not IN love with him...
But I find myself loving him.
How did this happen?
What is it about him that makes him so different from the
hundreds of other gorgeous celebrities out there?
Well...
If you read my blog... you already know.
I don't need to go into his many adorable charms.
And his awe inspiring 'kill me now' good looks.

LIES-  Robert Pattinson is a chump and a pussy.
He has no control over his life or his career.
He goes merrily along with this mysterious conspiracy
to promote some movies and let others tell him who he MUST be seen with.
He has no say in how he spends his free time.
Or with whom he chooses to spend it with.

See? I can smolder at the camera, too!
TRUE-  I love and adore Kristen Stewart.
No, I'm no IN love with her, either.
But I care about her and feel very protective over her.
No, she doesn't need my protection...
But I can't help but put it out there.
Kristen is honest and real
and yes, a bit awkward.
All part of her charms.
She is devastatingly beautiful.
Robert fell in love... at first sight.

LIES-  Kristen whines and complains about her fans.
Kristen doesn't really like Robert.
Kristen has no friends and clings to Rob.
Kristen is a lesbian.

The invite was addressed to "Kristen and Robert Pattinson"

TRUE-  Robert and Kristen are always together.
They go to weddings (see above) as a couple
They hang out on each others movie sets.
They vacation together.
They go to concerts together.
They go out to dinner together.
They spend holidays with each other and their families.
Together.

LIES-  Rob and Kristen look miserable together.
There are NEVER any pictures of them looking like a couple!
They are forced by their contracts to hang out all the time.
Even when they don't have anything to promote...
It's PR!!!

You can put your hand on my thigh ANYTIME! Oh wait, you already do!

TRUE-  If Rob and/or Kristen showed up with anyone else
as much as they do each other...
There would be NO fucking question they are together.
People always scream for PROOF that they are together...
I say this...
Give me PROOF that they aren't.
Show me pictures of Rob (recent pictures, mind you)
Hanging around with ANYone else as much as he is with Kristen.
Show me pictures of Kristen with anyone else as much as she is with Rob.
Show me pictures of Rob kissing someone else on the streets of Montreal...
Or nuzzling some other girl on her movie set...
Show me pictures of Kristen and some other guy walking into a hotel,
or sharing a balcony...
Show me pictures of Rob and his family at Christmas...
With some other girl that's NOT Kristen.

LIES-  Rob feels sorry for Kristen.
Rob's parents hate Kristen.
Rob's dad was talking about Kristen in his text to Rob.
The "BritPack" doesn't like hanging out with Kristen.

JFC. What am I supposed to say here? He takes my breath away...

TRUE-  Robert and Kristen are working on Breaking Dawn.
It's been said that they won't get out of Baton Rouge until the 23rd.
Kristen hasn't been seen since they got back to BR after Rio.
She is flying so low under the radar right now...
There have been 'sightings' on Twitter
of both her and Robert...
Everytime there is a "Robsten" drought...
The inevitable break up rumors fly.
Just because you don't see them together...
Doesn't mean they aren't.

LIES-  There is tension on the set with Rob and Kristen.
Rob is sick of Kristen and can't wait to get away from her.
Kristen is an ego maniac who tells directors how to do their jobs.
Kristen's "People" leaked the Christmas picture.
Rob is pissed about the Christmas picture and has had enough!
There is a 'morality' clause in Kristen's contract that prevents her
from coming out of the 'closet'.
(Oh dear... that one really makes me laugh out loud)

Can he GET any closer? Not much...

TRUE-  I have NEVER claimed to be an 'insider'.
And I most definitely don't post things on my blog to
irritate 'believers' of Robert and Kristen.
Does that even make sense? Why would I want to do that?
Yes. I bring out the 10 foot pole to poke the foaming Hyenas...
But I'm kinda bitchy that way... and it's so damn EASY
(And ever so much fun)
Do people tell me things?
Yep.
Do I post about it on my blog?
Nope.
If I did... do you think they would keep telling me things?
Exactly.
I'm actually quite good at keeping secrets.
Incredibly trustworthy.
So if I sound cryptic...
It's not a slap in the face.
It's me being a friend.
Besides...
It's really not that hard to figure out.
Seek... and you shall find.
It's really that simple.

LIES-  Every word I write is some kind of clue
to some sort of super secret society.
I purposely write things to piss people off
(Only if you foam at the mouth.)
I have said all sorts of things that have never come true
(I have? When?)
I pay people to kiss my 'arse'
(bwahahahaha)
I only send Robsten Decoder Rings to select people.
(OK, that one is true.)

Rumpled, tousled, wrinkled, probably smelling of beer and cigarettes. *SIGH*

Rob and Kristen will be going somewhere for the holidays.

Will Kristen and Rob go to L.A. and then on to London together?
Will Kristen go to L.A. and Rob to London?
Will Rob get back to London in time for Christmas
or will it keep snowing and closing the airport?
Will Rob's parents come to the States for Christmas?
So much chatter.

Look.
The important thing here is this...

1. Rob and Kristen have a safe and happy holiday.
They get to share it with family and friends
(and each other)

2. It doesn't matter where they go...
Or where they don't go.
Safe.
Happy.
Is what matters.

3. No matter where it starts...
It will end up with them being together.
As always.

4. I was watching 'Murder by Numbers" with Sandra Bullock
and *sigh* Ryan Gosling (who I might be a wee bit intoxicated with)
And Sandra's character plays a decidedly unfeminine cop who is called...
Wait for it...
"The Hyena"

Cassie: Do you know why they call me the hyena?
Sam: No, why do they?
Cassie: Female hyenas have a kind of mock penis. You figure it out.
Sam: Does that bother you?
Cassie: No, I just wear loose-fitting slacks, it's really not a problem.

So I looked it up.
It's true.
Fascinating.
Heh.

This post is brought to you by the letters *S* and *G*

I miss Syd, Smitty and Gruff.
Yes, we still chat...
But I miss your witty banter in the comments.

Ho.
Ho.
Ho.

Bye for now
;)

  1. Rose thanks for the Robsten Decoder ring....and by the way...my check is late this month...(can you hear the sarcasm in my voice?)

i really wish people would stop obsessing about this tsuff.

  3. tsuff...hmmm could it be a clue??? a Code??? the answer to the meaning of life???? OR Could it mean I spent an hour and a half in the dentist chair and both my mouth and my brain are numb

  4. Rose,

I haven't received my decoder ring yet. Haven't I proven myself to be trustworthy? Since Kami has hers now, I'm hoping mine is in the mail.

  5. A morality clause that keeps her from "coming out?" Does that mean being gay is IMMORAL??? Who are these total fucking idiots?

I've seen a few on twitter. Talking about how they hope Rob can go home "without contractual obligations." They have to have a justification in there somehow. PR is the most convenient even when they know it's crap. We know you know it...keep writing it, keep pretending. But you know, we all know, they're together because they wanna be.

Does it surprise me that female hyenas have penis's? No, not at all. There is nothing feminine about a group of adult women so insecure in themselves that they must attack and demean all other females. Especially prettier females. Anyone seen Mean Girls? Who wins in the end, and who gets hit by a bus? Karma, as they say, is a bitch.

  6. Kami - I have actually cracked the tsuff code, without my decoder ring which I lent to a friendly Camem"bear" for Christmas :)

If these fools put as much energy and creativity into their real lives as they do obsessing about other peoples, they'd probably all be millionaires by next Christmas!

  7. Oh Rose!....I love this! Their safety and happiness is definitely most important:)

I also miss reading what Smitty, Syd, & Gruff have to say:)

Hope everyone had a great weekend & is ready for whatever holiday they are celebrating!

    Happy Monday!

  9. It seems a little insulting to Mr Angarano to suggest Kristen's time with him was so stressful that it actually changed her orientation. Or was it the strain of being "contractually obligated" to the lovely Mr Pattinson that did it? Hmmm, who to blame....

  10. BTW, hello, my friends!

I miss EVERYONE so much. This time of year is just crazy, yes?

Sorry real life rant needed for a second....

Hope everyone is well. Miss the chatter but it's a crazy time for all right now it seems.

I can't figure out how this decoder ring works. Darn instructions are in morris code! :)

The "lies" out there are so silly and moot at this point. Rob and Kristen are happy, healthy, and together. Can't get any plainer than that.

Rose, you are a great friend from what I have seen. Your friends are lucky to have you in their corner. Lurkers/foamers, fyi since you don't know how to use your brains, not stroking her backside nor is she paying me to say it.

Glad S,S and G are doing well. Hello to you all if you are have time to check out Roseland.

Penny- to answer your question from yesterday about Christmas dinner. We never do the same thing. We like changing it up each year. This year we are doing stuffed pork chops, mac/cheese, butter beans, rolls, salad and dessert.

Angelica- here's hoping that the airport opens so that darling hubby can get home!

Time to jett...have a great day all!

  14. I have my secret decoder ring and it is working beautifully (by the way.. received the secret message yesterday.. I may have, however, shoved a lady out of my way in my mad dash to retrieve my decode ring. I'm sure she's fine... hopefully )

It's been a crazy few days for me.. Concussions and ballets and shopping, oh my!!

Hope everyone is having a safe and fun holiday season.

Gotta run.. things to see.. people to do... that sort of thing :)

  18. Rose,
That was a jam-packed post. It seems that you de-bunked a fair amount of the silliness, although I'm sure there is always more where that came from. I don't think it takes skills in espionage to see what these two have. Thank you for always being that voice of reason and I am sure your friends are thankful for your loyalty. I hope Rob and Kristen have safe travels wherever they go.

I know you know this, but you really shouldn't have to explain yourself to anyone. Period. This is your blog and if "some" read into your every word. Well I have said this before, but they really need a real life hobby.

I personally come here because I love how you have common sense, a bit of snark.. and oh yes yes how you call out the crazies, and I mean crazies on BOTH ends.

Have a great Christmas Miss Rose! I also miss reading the three's comments. Stay SAFE and have a Happy Christmas you guys, where ever you end up. :)

By the way, I want a refund. My decoder ring never came in the mail!

  24. I'm always amazed at people who claim to be "fans" of Rob and Kristen..and yet..they can't be happy for them. I think the time for excuses has past. They want to be, can't stay away from each other and are together. I think it was pretty much a given from the first meeting. I hope they have a safe and happy holiday..wherever they are.

Angelica..I hope the weather improves and your husband gets home for Christmas. I've been there so I feel for you in this situation.

Hi Freddie..hope you had a good day.

I have to add. These fucken people who spew this shit are really pathetic hags. I dont give a fuck. THAT shit, what I just re-posted from Rose, THAT boils my blood. I am sure Kristen doesn't care what these assholes spew, but god how I would love to see them face to face one day. And just ask them how would THEY FEEL if this shit was said about them all over the internet? Or if there a "Mom" How would they feel if the same shit was said about there own child? Dam bully's, and I am sure they are bullies in real life as well.

I had to vent, it just pisses me off to no end.

  30. Hi Rose,

Nice post. You seem to have covered it all.

It is nice to think of Robert and Kristen safe, happy and together for the holidays. That said, however it works out for them (together, apart for a bit, LA or London), I’m sure it will be what is right for them (assuming Mother Nature doesn’t screw them up). Confession time: while I admire and support them in their individual projects, I have to admit that I find them, as a couple, absolutely enchanting (sorry to sound hokey). I remember Rob’s words from the Twilight convention in LA where he suggested that people still want to believe in romantic love, and I guess I’m one of them. In this wacky world, it is really heartening to see two people who are seemingly so much in love, and who have a relationship underpinned by friendship and mutual respect. It makes me hopeful.

    So...enough with the mush….

Hi Rhonda – I had a good day – thanks for asking. I’m still finishing my shopping and have to start my wrapping this evening. Hope all is well with you.

Hi everyone else. Hope all is well at this busy time.

    Freddie

  31. Thank you Rose.
The picture of Rob and Kristen at the wedding is now one of my all time favorites of the beautiful couple. I vote yes and totally agree on the list of 3 important things about Rob and Kristen.

Kami and I.B., the shrimp recipes sound wonderful. Have printed them and they are on my holiday list.

Angelica, hope your husband makes it in safe and sound and on time.

Melinda, that was a lot of cookies. Surely everyone will love them.

Freddie, I totally agree with you and I am all for the "mush". : ) They are an enchanting couple and I love cheering for their success and happiness.

For Christmas Eve, tamales and posole are on the menu here. I do not prepare them, but there are quite a few places in town where you can order authentic home made ones that are delicious.

For New Years Eve, one has to incorporate black eyed peas into the menu somehow. This is a Texas tradition for good luck and financial success for the year to come. Here is one recipe for Texas Caviar, but there are many variations:
This is a make ahead type recipe.

    Ingredients
2 15-ounce cans cooked blackeyed peas
    1 cup salad oil
    1/4 cup wine vinegar
    1 whole peeled garlic clove
1/4 cup thinly sliced onion ( I like red )
    1/2 teaspoon salt
cracked or freshly ground black pepper to taste

*May also add the following, you can determine the amount according to your own taste:
finely diced green and/or red bell pepper
    some canned shoe-peg corn
small amount of chopped cilantro ( I never add, since I do not like cilantro that much)

    Preparation
Drain liquid from the canned black eyed peas.
Place peas in a bowl, add remaining ingredients, and mix thoroughly.
Store in a glass jar in refrigerator and remove garlic clove after one day, and stir well.
Store at least two days and up to two weeks before eating.
    Enjoy!

    BBL tonight after dinner.

  42. Ok, this recipe is hard as hell to make, it takes 2 people and there's a high probability you can get burned, but it's a candy that I made with my grandmother from the time I was old enough to see the top of the stove until she passed away 3 years ago. I'm not making it this year but I still want to honor my Nana. I'm writing it out exactly the way she has it on her recipe card. It's kind of hard to follow, mainly because she always made it from memory.

    Divinity

    3 Cups of Sugar
3/4 cup of White Karo Syrup
    1 Cup of boiling water
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp Vanilla
    1 cup chopped pecans
3 Egg whites beaten very stiff. Should be able to hold the bowl over your head for 10 seconds without the eggs moving.

Slowly bring water, sugar, syrup and salt to a rolling boil. Cook until mixture reaches 250 degrees or a hard ball forms when dropped in cold water.

Pour half of mixture slowly over egg whites while beating mixture with a mixer. Put remaining mixture back on the stove and boil the hell out of it (about 2 minutes). Continue mixing while other half of mixture is boiling. Slowly pour in remaining mixture while beating with mixer. Add Pecans and Vanilla. Keep beating until mixer stops operating, then grab a wooden spoon and beat by hand until the shit fudges. Quickly grab spoons and put spoonfulls onto a greased plate.

This takes two people to make...one to pour the syrup and one to mix...it helps to have a man help because at the end he will have to finish the beating by hand (I can hear your laughter)...like I said it is hard as hell to make, but it was her favorite and I wanted to honor her. My husband and I can make this pretty easily, but like he says..You have to be trained up.

    It's wonderful though.

  43. Kay, you can borrow the decoder ring in order to figure out all the secret messages hidden on Olive labels...that is an important job

  48. Rose, I always get such a laugh at your sarcasm. It's too bad that you get so much grief from the haters, but I'm sure you get hours entertainment from the sheer stupidity of it lmao. Some of the excuses are so desperate it's crazy. I share your love of R and K (and those hotashell pics of Rob) and know they will get to be happy and spend the holidays together...again. HA!THanks again Rose. oh I didn't get a decoder ring, you must have run out. ;-)

  49. Super RN, glad to hear that the wedding went well.

Kami, the divinity sounds delicious, and I love your Grandmother's recipe directions, especially the method for testing the egg whites,
"Should be able to hold the bowl over your head for 10 seconds without the eggs moving." : )

Has your sis-in-law made sweet tamales, with coconut, pecans, pineapple, raisins and cinnamon? They are yummy and you can break up several the next day in the morning into a bowl, pour a bit of milk on them, then warm them up in the microwave and then put more milk or a little cream over them and eat them sort of like hot cereal. They are a special treat that a few of the local ladies make for las fiestas navideñas.

Liza, saw that you got a special gift the other day...the STFU hoodie from your cross the pond bff. Liked the pic/avi. Thanks for letting us know that tomorrow is Tom's birthday. Hope he has a wonderful day!

Hugs to all the sweet Roselanders and of course to Rose, Smitty, Gruff, and Syd!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Olivia, yeah my Nana was a character, some of her recipes say stuff like "Once the pie is made throw it out the window because it's richer than 4 ft up a bull and only your Aunt Bill could eat it" lol

As for the sweet tamales, I know they make them but Heith and his brother only really like the regular ones so that what she always sends him. When I was growing up lots of ladies used to bring my mom tamales around Christmas, she loved them...I've just never cared for them.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Olivia,

This may be a stupid question but is your Texas Caviar something that is served cold? You know I'm a Michigander like you used to be and I don't know about these things.

  52. Happy holi-day Roselanders!

I'm enjoying the comments from afar and will be back on later.

  53. Hi Penny Lane,
Yes, you do serve it cold, sort of like a three bean salad. It can also be like a side relish, put a couple of spoonfuls on a lettuce leaf to serve on the plate along with other sides. I have a friend who also quarters a few cherry tomatoes and mixes that in before serving.

Sure do miss the beauty of Michigan, all the lakes and flowers in the summer. I must admit that I do not miss the cold and dreary winter days. The weather down here however has been unusually warm. In fact, tomorrow we are supposed to have record highs, perhaps up to 78, or 80 degrees. Always used to make a trip up to Frankenmuth, to visit the Christmas shoppes and have a chicken dinner at Zenders. : ) But home is where you make it and I love the traditions down here too!

  55. Olivia,

When my kids were little we'd go to Zehnders every year and they could pick out an ornament. We used to live about 30 minutes from there so it was no big deal. The last time I went it was about 80 degrees out. It just didn't seem right.

  56. Rose, thanks again for perfect post. Wishing everyone a safe and Merry Christmas. Kami, thank you for posting the divinty recipe. I made that with my mother for years, she's in her late eighties now and finds it a little to hard her. I trying to get my son to help me this year, and start a new tradition.

    Isn't it romantic?
Music in the night, a dream that can be heard.

    Isn't it romantic?
Moving shadows write the oldest magic word.

I hear the breezes playing in the trees above
While all the world is saying you were meant for love.

    Isn't it romantic
Merely to be young on such a night as this?

    Isn't it romantic?
Every note that's sung is like a lover's kiss.

    Sweet symbols in the moonlight,
Do you mean that I will fall in love perchance?

  60. Better Together

    Jack Johnson/listen here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u57d4_b_YgI&feature=related

There is no combination of words I could put on the back of a postcard

And no song that I could sing, but I can try because this is your heart, this is

Our dreams and they are made out of real things
Like a shoebox of photographs with sepia-toned loving

Love is the answer at least for most of the questions in my heart, like

Why are we here? And where do we go? And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy and sometimes life can be deceiving

I'll tell you one thing, it's so much better when we're together
Yeh, we'll look at the stars when we're together
Well it's so much better when

All of these moments just might find their way into my dreams tonight
But I know that they'll be gone when the morning light sings

Or brings new things for tomorrow night you see
They'll be gone too, too many things I have to do

But follow these dreams might find their way into my day to day scene
I'd be under the impression, I was somewhere in between

With only two, just me and you, not so many things we got to do
Or places we got to be, we'll sit beneath the mango tree now

Yeh, so much better when we're together
Mmm, we're somewhere in between together

I believe in memories because they look so,
    So pretty when I sleep
And when I wake up you look so pretty sleeping next to me

But there is not enough time
And there is no, no song I could sing
And there is no combination of words I could say

But I will still tell you one thing
    We're better together
We so much better when we're together

    Thank you/jknewcastle

    Where The Truth Lies

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIO_VcHm4Zk

A whisper in my ear, a voice so strong and clear.
Upon this beach I see a million grains of sand.
    I believe we are destined.
Bound to survive against all odds.

    Out where the truth lies,
    I will follow.
    Out beyond this barren surround.
    I cry without a sound.

    Out where the truth lies,
I will follow my eyes into the sun.

Sometimes, I lie awake and dream of everyone who walked the path I take,
    Who ran beneath the sun
And I believe it's my destiny Bound to survive against all odds.

    Out where the truth lies,
    I will follow.
    Out beyond this barren surround.
    I cry without a sound.

    Out where the truth lies,

    Lena Horne-1943-Wow listen & watch:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCG3kJtQBKo

Don't know why there's no sun up in the sky
Stormy weather since my man and I ain't together
Keeps raining all the time, the time

Life is bare, gloom and misery everywhere
Stormy weather, just can't get my poor self together
It's raining all the time, the time

When you went, you went away, the blues walked in and met me
If he stays away, ol' rocking chair will get me
All I do is pray, the Lord above will let me walk in the sun once more

Can't go on, everything I had is gone
Stormy weather since my man and I ain't together
    It's raining all the time

I walk around, heavy-hearted and sad
Night comes around and I'm still feeling bad
Rain's pouring down, blinding every hope I had

This pitterin pattering, beating and spattering drives Me Mad
Love, Love, Love, this misery's just too much for me

Can't go on, everything I have is gone
Stormy weather since my man and I ain't together
It's raining all the time, keeps raining all the time

It takes thought and time and rhyme
    to make a poem sing,

With music and words I've been playing,
For you have written a song,
To be sure that you know what I'm saying,
I'll translate as I go along.

    Fly me to the moon
And let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
    On Jupiter and Mars

In other words hold my hand
In other words darling kiss me
    Fill my life with song
    And let me sing forevermore

It's just the moon that is the sun's disguise.

Just the sky, with clouds a blowin' by.
The sun and the moon and the sky, and you and I.

It's just the rain that's rollin' down my cheek.
It's just the wind that makes me hear you speak.

It's just the song that anyone can sing.
The rain and the wind and the song and the love you bring.

It's just the world that gonna break your heart.
It's just the past that's tearin' us apart.

It's just the time we have so little of.
The world and the past and the time that we fell in love.

It's just the sun that's shinin' in your eyes
It's just the moon that is the sun's disguise

    Otis Redding tries so much:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dael4sb42nI

    Oh, she may be weary
Young girls they do get weary
Wearing that same old shaggy dress, yeah yeah
    But when she gets weary
Try a little tenderness, yeah yeah

    You know she's waiting
    Just anticipating
For things that she'll never never never never possess, yeah yeah
But while she's there waiting, without them
Try a little tenderness (that's all you gotta do)

It's not just sentimental, no no no
She has her grief and care, yeah yeah yeah
But the soft words they are spoke so gentle, yeah
It makes it easier, easier to bare, yeah

You won't regret it, no no
Some girls they don't forget it
Love is their only happiness, yeah
    But it's all so easy
All you gotta do is try, try a little tenderness, yeah
All you gotta do is man, hold her where you want her

Squeeze her, don't tease her, never leave her
    Get to her drop drop
Just try a little tenderness, ooh yeah yeah yeah
You got to know how to love her, man, you'll be surprised, man
You've got to squeeze her, don't tease her, never leave
You've got to hold her and rub her softly
Try a little tenderness, ooh yeah yeah yeah

You've got to rub her gentle man, don't bruise her, no no
You've got to love her, squeeze her, don't tease her
Gotta drop nah nah nah drop

Try a little tenderness, yeah, watch her groove
You've gotta to know what to do, man
    Take this advice

    Joni Mitchell/listen:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8gOsqUPhvA

    My old man
He’s a singer in the park
He’s a walker in the rain
He’s a dancer in the dark

We don’t need no piece of paper
    From the city hall
    Keeping us tied and true

    My old man
    Keeping away my blues

He’s my sunshine in the morning
He’s my fireworks at the end of the day

He’s the warmest chord I ever heard
Play that warm chord, play and stay baby

We don’t need no piece of paper
    From the city hall
    Keeping us tied and true
    My old man
    Keeping away my blues

    But when he’s gone
Me and them lonesome blues collide
    The bed’s too big
    The frying pan’s too wide

    Then he comes home
And he takes me in his loving arms
And he tells me all his troubles
And he tells me all my charms

We don’t need no piece of paper
    From the city hall
    Keeping us tied and true
    No, my old man
    Keeping away my blues

    But when he’s gone
Me and them lonesome blues collide
    The bed’s too big
    The frying pan’s too wide

    My old man
He’s a singer in the park
He’s a walker in the rain
He’s a dancer in the dark

We don’t need no piece of paper
    From the city hall
