Rob and Kristen- Always Have, Always Will.

That would be the howling of the Hyenas.

WELL!
My goodness the news about Rob and Kristen
is far and few between.
Kinda sucks.
For us.
Kinda great.
For them.

They are busy busy busy
working working working
And spending what downtime they have...
Together.
You know its true.

If you think about it...
Hanging out together
all the time
isn't that difficult to do.
Which is why we never see them out and about too much.
Yeah...
I think there was a sighting of Rob at a grocery store...
or
Hanging out with the guys.
But no pictures.
Never any pictures.

It seems that Rob doesn't agree to that anymore.
And considering that we haven't seen a picture of him...
It seems that people are actually listening to him.
Imagine that!

And you know that Rob and Kristen are perfectly content
to just spend their evenings quietly.
Alone.
Nothing wrong with that.
At all.

Um... Edward doesn't HAVE a beard...

This old clip from People has been making the rounds lately.
Not quite sure why.
But really... could Kristen BE any more obvious?

"Is there a downside to kissing Robert?"

"He has the thickest beard! At time you don't notice it until you're
like -oh wow, I think I'm bleeding."

Now I'm fully aware that Robert Pattinson grows his scruff pretty damn fast.
In a couple of days he could have a nice beard going...
BUT.
Edward Cullen does NOT have a beard.
No way.
No how.
And IF she was only kissing  Robert on screen...
When he was being all clean shaven like Edward...
She wouldn't have encountered his 'beard'
Would she?
I'm guessing that Rob's scruff would have been in control
while he was being Edward...
Can't have a beardy Edward.
So.
This is just a way of sharing how it feels to kiss Rob...
When he wasn't being Edward.
When he wasn't shaving.
When.
They.
Were.
Offscreen.
Heh.

Can't stay apart for long... can they?

Don't you just love the fact that
Rob and Kristen are never apart for long?
It doesn't matter where they are...
Or what they are doing.
They make time to be together.
Somehow.
Say...
Hypothetically speaking (of course)
That they had a sort of rule about the length of time
they would be apart.
Say like...
10 days.
You know?
So wherever they are...
One will go to the other.
 Kristen to Budapest.
Robert to Montreal.
Kristen to NYC
Robert to New Orleans.

It's cool how they make their relationship work...
That they don't let anything get in the way of being
Together.

Rob looks SO happy. Wonder why? ;)

What really makes me giggle sometimes...
Is this supposed competition between Rob and Kristen.
Really?
Why would that be?
Are they up for the same roles?
Why would Kristen want to try and take attention away
From Rob's movies?
And how does pictures from Breaking Dawn...
Harm Robert in any way?
He's in the movie... isn't he?
People act like Kristen begged and pleaded to get on Vogue...
for the sole purpose of upstaging Rob and the attention
he was getting for WFE.
Really?
Scary people are fucking crazy.
There is no competition.
There is no reason for one.
I'm willing to bet that Rob and Kristen support each other completely.
There is no 'damage control' either.
Controlling what damage, pray tell?
Both Rob and Kristen make no apologies.
Why should they?
I love that people want to believe that Rob and Kristen
are at war with each other
trying to one up the other all the time...
Yeah.
OK.
Crazy people are fucking scary.

Big smiles. Check. Touching hands. Check. Hand on thigh. Double check!

The Baftas.
Will she or won't she.
Will he or won't he.

I see it like this.
If they get to where they need to be in terms of BD...
Then they will go.
Together.

Come on...
Be honest now.
You do realize that if Kristen flies to London
to present the award
(Hopefully to Andrew Garfield! How cool would that be?)
Robert WILL go with her.
Right?
You know that.
Even though they were just in London a month ago...
You don't really think that Robert will let her go alone.
Do you?
Remember the 10 day rule people.
It makes it all so much easier to understand.

Personally.
I hope they get the chance to go.
Dress up.
Hang out.
And maybe we might even get a picture!
How sweet would that be?
I mean..
How long as it been since we have gotten a pic of them
Together?
Too long.

You know what it means when you share clothes... right?

Anything else?

Oh yes.

Remember the ELLE UK interview?

Where the writer talked about Robert as 'deliciously handsome'?

"Bella is in love with the DELICIOUSLY HANDSOME Edward Cullen a 104 year old vampire stuck in the body of a teenager played by the also DELICIOUSLY HANDSOME Robert Pattinson."

And then we got Kristen's reaction to being asked about Rob...

Then she opens up in a rant about Robert Pattinson when the interviewer sees the photo on the display of Stewart's iPod: "It's a familiar DELICIOUSLY HANDSOME young man with an arm around Kristen and an arm around Jella, her cat," the reporter's quoted saying. "Without saying a word, [Stewart] quickly shoves the device back into the glove compartment and turns up the volume before I can say anything."
"It's so weird, that you have to be worried about people seeing things," Stewart finally says in response to the iPod image. "You want to be excited about something, normal people can be excited about their lives, and I am, too, but it's such a different thing.

It comes out as entertainment for other people and that makes me want to throw up."

First.
People STILL go on and on about this picture on her iPod
NOT being of Robert.
Seriously?
She talks about the DELICIOUSLY HANDSOME
Robert Pattinson...
Then talks about the 'familiar' DELICIOUSLY HANDSOME
young man in the picture with Kristen.
How obvious does it have to be, folks?
Tell me.

Outside of that...
What hits me the most about this interview is

1. Kristen WANTS to be excited about her life...
and she admits that she is.
She's just a normal girl...
wanting normal things.

2. People being entertained by their relationship.
I'm not sure entertained is the right word...
At least for me.
But I'm fascinated by it...
I love seeing them together...
and how happy they make each other.
Seeing Rob and Kristen happy...
Makes me happy.

Anywhere you go...  I will follow.

I apologize for all the rambling today.
I suppose I just wanted to touch on some of the more
OBVIOUSLY APPARENT
aspects of Rob and Kristens relationship.
People say they hide it.
They really don't.
They just don't flaunt it.
Theres a big difference.
And I know people will continue to cling to the 'PR' bullshit...
But everyone knows that vacations together...
traveling to movie sets on your own time...
Going to private weddings together
Spending the holidays with the others family...
and just generally always being where the other is
no matter what is going on in their lives...
Is what 2 people in a relationship do.
No need to flaunt that.
It's right in front of our eyes.

This post is brought to you by the letter *T*

T for Tom Sturridge

I miss his face.

That hat. And wait... is that the red plaid under that jacket??

And T for TOGETHER.

That's what Rob and Kristen are.
Always have been...
Always will be.

Bye for now.

DK- wow that was löng, kidding. Poor them boys/men, good for DK and Vee, no hangover, i hope. Seems like you have a great weekend.

gwen said...

DK- any plans for the love month?

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
So, we were seated at the end of an aisle, exactly where I like to be, because I sit up really straight when I am out, it makes me look thinner, helps my food digest and attracts attention because it is so unusual to do that.

Everyone always likes to pass behind me, many times touching my hair or shoulders and asking to be excused. I usually like it very much, but that night it took me a while to, really surprised me.

No matter how far back I moved my chair, people squeezed behind me, like I was a magnet for servers, customers and the hostess, so I considered them my close acquaintances in theory, for why not, we were physically close, and after that I moved closer to the table, to allow more to pass through. I am not DreamerKind for nada.

There were two other birthday women along with Vee and we were all very rudely talking across the tables to each other.

No one else seemed to mind, and if they looked at us, we smiled very brightly and mouthed "Birthday" and that was all it took to get very nice smiles back.

While we waited to order, M played music and I have never heard such cheery versions of "Ruby Don't Take Your Love To Town" and "You Picked A Fine Time To Leave Me Lucille".

Those songs will no longer make me cry like they used to, for a happy accordion sound has changed their meaning. Every song was played at a very fast pace, and with a light touch. Nice.

Even better, M slurred the lyrics near the end of the songs, so you didn't hear the sad endings anyway, only making us feel lighthearted, as we sang along, slurring away ourselves.

Will never, ever forget that vocal style, so rare, so fast, so slurred, so funny, so hoping not to hear it again.

Still want to know more?

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
All right, I get the drift, that's enough for tonight.

As to the plans for the love month, I would have to get on with the stories all of the way to the end, at the Friendly Tap, where the love might have happened and the doing of it, could in February, just in time for Valentine's Day. We'll see.

A story for later...

gwen said...

DK- LOL, the lyrics are slurred coz of too much cognac and merriment.

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
No, that was the forgotten man at the bar. I was describing the musician with the accordion.

He was very charming when he was not singing, and each time we walked past him, for one reason or another (you know women's doings), he made a point of addressing us on his mike, and waving his hands around as he did.

Let me add that he was very attractive with his fine red hair, blue, blue eyes and nice teeth. I'm Irish, too, and I appreciate that look very much.

He did tell us to come back very soon, but I don't know about that...

gwen said...

DK- Did you request some songs? It would be different if Dreamer would request songs not the other way around. Is Hey Jude would be played this week or the following? :)

Birdie said...

OK, I'm intrigued.
Good morning Gwen,Angelica and DK,
DK, I briefly read your story to catch up. I am going to make a cup of coffee and try to interpret it.
Did I sense there was a spark? Could it be the Irishman? Does he have an accent(my undoing)? Oh, so many questions. I do love your stories and will be back for some anwers.

gwen said...

Morning Birdie! Yep it seems whenever DK went out to dinner, she met interesting men.

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
There seemed to be a special set of songs that he played, and honestly, it was amazing.

We were there for two hours and he must have played 120 songs, at warp speed and he sang them all, too.

Such a skill is to be marveled at. Actually, I am still marveling, over many things from that night.

I guess there were some people making requests for songs, and some who even danced in the tiny space provided for it. Never thought of doing either, since I was stunned, dumb.

Love the thought of Dreamer asking Dreamer to post some songs for herself on Roseland. Gonna do that soon.

After all, I did dedicate one posted by myself to myself the other day, since I was making myself feel good at the time.

The song was a confirmation that I would "string along" with myself, no matter how much of an angel I am not, and that angels are so few, so the song lyrics go, and they do apply, natch.

Very comforting it is, to accept yourself, and get praise from yourself while doing so.

Why, do you need a song to convince you about yourself, or something, Gwen?

Birdie said...

Gwen,
I can not always tell when our DK is being a smartass.
How is work going and your mighty tyrant of a boss? It is so nice seeing you back here?
We need Bren to show up too.

gwen said...

DK- nah but i love Mulan's Reflection by Xtina Aguilera when i feel not myself sometimes. Hmm let me think a song i would like to request to you for you

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
I kid not, this all happened and more.

See, my theory about always meeting men is that I like them so very much and it shows. It must ooze out of my pores and shine out of my eyes.

Sweaters help. I have two sweaters, that I call my lucky sweaters for they are men magnets.

One is all black with a scoop neck that has little pewter coins tacked on, here and there. I am truly afraid to wear it again, for crazy things happen and I go crazy for those things.

The other is also black but has the most gorgeous, orange, brown and white artsy "dragon" like pattern with beads, all over. That is the newest addition, that I wore out Saturday, and resulted in a statement of conjecture, that I was sexy. Who knew?

Birdie said...

DK,
Many of my favorites and new Beatles this morning. I'll have to go back and listen later. Thank you for posting the words to Draw Your Sword. Did you see the video I posted? Can you believe what a techno-wiz I have become? I loved that video and the song.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
I miss Bren, too, and she is not telling us where to find her or I would be finding her.

Me, a smartass? I hope not for I don't much like those kinds of personalities. Me, writing with an edge of humor and irony, yes, sister, that I do.

What questions do you have, luv?

gwen said...

Birdie- im fine good even, dont know bout bossy boss here lol. Still at the office working my cute butt off ;)

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Great song and that you listened and watched the video-marvelous progress is being made, you wizardess.

I'm always searching for new songs. Give me more you like.

gwen said...

DK- you should share that lucky sweaters! So its a men magnet sweater. Is it available in the market or just perks of being FGM?

Ok i havent talk to Bren recently. Where is that mama bear off to.

Rhonda said...

Good Early Morning Roseland!

Hi! Angelica,gwen and Birdie :)

DK- Lucky sweaters,huh? Maybe that's what I need..lol :)

Birdie said...

DK,
I shouldn't call you a smartass, just very witty with a touch of sarcasm,at times.

Gwen,
You are staying busy and out of the bosses way, I assume.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Just saw your comment with questions so here go the answers:

Did I sense there was a spark?
No sparks with the two men at the bar nor the Irishman, sorry.

Could it be the Irishman?
No.

Does he have an accent(my undoing)?
Don't think he had an accent, since I didn't notice one, and I have a good ear for dialect.

(my undoing)?
If you come to visit me or I you, we'll go to a real Irish pub with music and accents galore, so you can get undone and lose yourself a little or find yourself a lot. I'll string along with you, too, don't worry.

Hey, better yet, let's go to Ireland!

Birdie said...

Good morning Rhonda,
Getting ready for work?
DK,
I was referring to a fanvid. Is that what you meant?

rabbit said...

Hi everyone!Very nice post!ROBSTEN are really really cute!I agree that they don't hide their relationship...this is obvious...they just don't speak for that. This is their decision and i absolutely respect it!
We want them happy together..!That's all!kisses!!!

Rhonda said...

Birdie- Yes, work is soon calling :)

Birdie said...

I would love to go to Ireland. My sister went on a special tour with a local folk singer(La Crosse WI). The tour is a small group that travel with John and his friend in Ireland touring pubs, drinking, singing and taking in Irish culture. He does this every few years. This would be right up your alley.

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
Any black, sexy sweater will do it.

@Rhonda
Yes, get several of the above ^! The softer feel and touch they have the better, cashmere rocks 'em.

@Birdie
You need to call me on the telephone, so I can convince you that I am not sarcastic, even a little.
I don't like it either, because it hurts people and is judgmental in its nature.
Not my style, so call and get a dose of Dreamer sometime, and we'll laugh a few pounds off while we're at it.

angelica1 said...

Morning Rhonda and Birdie :)

gwen said...

DK- i still cant believe what youve said earlier to GG66. LMAO, she really bore you and had a fuck you cheers for her :O

Birdie- yep stay out of her way or there would be world war 4 coming ;)

Morning Rhonda!

DreamerKind said...

@rabbit
I am very happy to agree with your comments. Thanks.

Birdie said...

OK,OK...
How about witty, funny and quirky?

My word verif. insurt-I did not mean it as an insurt.HaHa

Rhonda said...

DK- I love cashmere! So soft :)

Hi Angelica- How's my friend today? Apraisals all done?

Birdie- Ireland would be great :)

Rhonda said...

Gwen- DK was brillant!

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
Wasn't that just great fun? Better fun than flipping someone off, I think.

It was inspired by Gruff's wish to grant her what she wished, which was profanity and disapproval. I knew that I could help make her wishes come true, like Gruff did.

You know what a people pleaser I can be, when it is called for so clearly.

When bored, stuff happens and stuff. That's why I avoid being bored because things like "Fuck You" are needed to rid me of it.

Rhonda said...

Oops..'brilliant' I mean. LOL..too early for me to be typing :)

Birdie said...

Good morning or afternoon,Angelica!

Rhonda, are you in snow country or can you back right out of your driveway?

gwen said...

Rhonda- lol i didnt know she has it in her!

DK- hope you're not turning into a evil witch, but its refreshing you know :-x

Rhonda said...

DK- I used to feel bad about using profanity on here..it is a public blog. But, not anymore. Vulgarity seems to be the only way you can communicate with them.

Rhonda said...

Birdie- Fortunately we've has been spared this time. LOL..I can back right out :)

DreamerKind said...

@Rhonda
You're moving up my most popular list, with compliments like that.

Rhonda said...

LOL..I meant 'have'. I'm a wreck this morning..lol :)

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
What video you posted? No, I didn't see it, and want to. What time did you post?

DK

gwen said...

Hello Angelica! Hope the back will be good soon.

Rhonda said...

I only speak the truth DK :)

Gotta go ladies..

Everyone please be safe during this storm. I will be thinking of you all :)

Angelica- If Smitty comes around be sure and convey what a great job Gruff did with the troll :)

Have a great day and bye for now...

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
The FGM cannot be a witch at the same time, thanks be to G.
As I said tonight, boredom makes me see blood, not really, but I like the sound of that.

@Rhonda
Profanity is not my usual, so I guess some were really proud of me today.
It also took me a while to write out the words to the game of "MFK" (Marry-no prob, Fuck-prob, Kill-prob but got over it all playing with the funsters of Roseland.

Birdie said...

DK,
Sometimes it is hard to hold the Irish in and a FU is just the ticket. Gruff is hysterical and can somehow make FU seem like a request.
I posted it Sunday morning, I believe. One of the most touching that I have seen.

gwen said...

Im off too guys. See ya tom. Kung Hei Fa Choi!

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Witty, funny, quirky-have you been reading my OK Cupid dating site profile, I describe myself exactly like you do? Thanks, hon.

Love, La Crosse and that tour is up my alley as you said. Used to partee in LC back when I did. College towns with vibrancy are so alive and fun to visit. Like Madison, WI, also, best times were had there, too, not that long ago.

DreamerKind said...

@Gwen
Kung Hei Fa Choi!

Take care, Bells and eat well.

Birdie said...

Have a great day at work Rhonda!

Angelica,
Are you looking at having a discectomy? If you are young and healthy, they are just an overnight stay at our hospital and you are up and walking the same night. There is post-op pain, but it is usually far more tolerable because it is not as bad as the preop pain(and gets better each day).

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
All right, I'll find it later today and share the way it made me feel.

Yes, I bet you've got some good ones to sling around when your top is blown off. I so admire someone who has that skill. Tee, hee.

You're right about Gruff, he does it just so, and makes you want to thank him for doing it so.

Birdie said...

Good night Gwen!

DK,
I am so glad I finally got it right!

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
I am yawning (good for the facial muscles) and leaving out symbols in my posts, so maybe I am slowing down. What's on your agenda today? Did you and your bro go to Dad's?

Birdie said...

Yes, we got him up the stairs safely. This will be a nightly routine until he gets stronger. How much stronger he will get at 86, I don't know. I am going to build a fire and warm up intermittently between bouts of shoveling.
Are you heading off to sleep? I will see you later today.

Birdie said...

I almost forgot. Did you get the big storm?

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Leaning that way....don't worry about being here, if you need to go. We can talk later, as you say.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
Not yet, that I see, looking out of the window. Somewhere around noon.

Birdie said...

I have no schedule this morning. You let me know when you have had enough.

Easy to be hard
Easy to be cold

How can people have no feelings
How can they ignore their friends
Easy to be proud
Easy to say no

And especially people
Who care about strangers
Who care about evil
And social injustice

Do you only
Care about the bleeding crowd?
How about a needing friend?
I need a friend

How can people be so heartless
You know I'm hung up on you
Easy to be proud
Easy to say no

How can people have no feelings
How can they ignore their friends
Easy to be hard
Easy to be cold
Easy to be proud
Easy to say no

Good morning everyone,

The Roseland crew displayed most admiral teamwork in providing defenses and retorts last night. What was that GG66 creature all about with the inane, nonsensical and illogical rants?

Smitty and Gruff, always so good that you can peek in for a bit. Take care.

DK, the Beatles songs are a continuing treasure and treat. Such a lovely way to start the day with my cuppa and some great music.

A huge line of storms, mostly rain, light hail and very high wind, is just passing through, beginning around 5:00 am and finally seems to be quieting down a bit. Next we will have close to a 55 degree or more temperature drop. Predicting a low of 19, which is cold for us, it was 76 yesterday. Gotta love Texas weather.

Stay warm and safe, especially all the Roselanders who are in the path of the big storm.

Hugs to y'all.

Birdie said...

Good morning Olivia! Strange weather, thank you global warming.

DreamerKind said...

@Oliva
I stepped away to the kitchen and missed you. Nice comments. Must be a kick living in Texas for many reasons. One day, I'll get to Austin.

Hugs to you, too. Take good care of yourself.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
The dogs haven't been bothering you tonight?

Birdie said...

Out and back in,thanks to the snow and wind.
Ah,I know what I wanted to ask you. What happened at the Friendly Tap?

angelica1 said...

Birdie - I've had it before,I think they're basically doing the same again but higher up - remove a couple of discs and shave some vertebrae, I'll be in for 5 days. It's not the pain, as you say, it's a lot less painful than the condition. It's the restricted activity afterwards that's the problem.I'm very bad at that!

angelica1 said...

Hi Gwen, thank you :)

Rhonda - I will but I'm sure Smitty knows what a wonderful job Gruff did :)

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
So astute of you, to ask the very question that would take a long while for me to answer.

For tonight, I'll say that it was a very friendly place. As we headed up to the door, a man popped in front of us, to open it and told us welcome. Friendly, indeed.

Inside, you would find an oddly shaped bar, like the letter "P" with a tin ceiling (big holes in it, too) and a bar top that is cracking with age.

I love dives like this, and it is a very old neighborhood bar, in a close to Chicago suburb, next to a very affluent village.

The band had just stopped playing, so we sat far back at the end, next to a couple.

There were a number of men, mostly men there really, at the other end of the bar.

That's where we had the most fun, but I'm not telling anymore tonight, just setting the scene.

Birdie said...

Angelica,
Sorry to hear you have had to go through this before. You know what to expect and are smart to wait until your head is in the right place. I wish you the best when you are ready.

Birdie said...

Ahhh, the suspense... Alright, I will have to wait. I thought that might be the case, but wanted you to know I caught the reference to another DK adventure.

DreamerKind said...

@Birdie
There are two more total. The other is at another bar in a trendy neighborhood, that piano bar I mentioned before.

Verra, verra interesting. No romance, mostly showmance and bromance.

Manana, too.

Birdie said...

OK,then.Tonight.

Birdie said...

Now I must go. My daughters are up and since I am rarely here in the morning, I will go give them some motherly attention. I will talk to you this afternoon or tonight. Have a nice nap, because you may be facing a storm when you get up.

DreamerKind said...

@Angelica1
I'd like to tell you how much I have enjoyed your comments.

For you to be so funny and also caring about others, considering how you may feel at times, is very admirable.

We are lucky to have you with us in Queen Rose's Land.

I hope the best solution appears for you very soon, to ease your pain, and give you comfort.

DreamerKind said...

I'm levitating up towards the ceiling now and that might be a hint to take stock of myself and go to sleep.

Until, we meet again. :)

angelica1 said...

He's never had the surgery,though...only the epidural steroid injections. Back problems are the worst! There's usually no way to sit or lay to get any relief. So sorry you're having to deal with that:(

angelica1 said...

Penny,I have milk and sweetener or sugar in coffee.I'd drink cappuccino all day if I could :)

Morning Jentoo - i just make it in the cup,I don't think the teapot has been used since about 2004 :)

angelica1 said...

Thanks Jentoo - I've had the injections too, they helped for a while. The only place I'm actually comfortable is sat in my car, ironically.

jentoo said...

I always made mine in a cup too, until the husband convinced me we needed this thing. He'd wanted one for a while & I kept informing him we didn't need one. When I found out you could use it for tea too, I informed him we did actually need one. It's all about ME and what I need, after all!...lol

jentoo said...

Penny...I still can't bring myself to drink coffee at all. My mom says when I grow up I will, but I'll be 41 in April and I don't see it happening anytime soon:)

Mary said...

jentoo,

I couldn't stand coffee either but when you work in a hospital everyone is drinking it so you kind of just evolve into it.

STFU is barking nonstop so I better get her. What's her problem? It's at least 17 degrees F. Balmy, right?

jentoo said...

Penny....totally balmy! Practically summer!

Thanx rose!

But that is an interesting facts u brought up. :)

Love your post as always. xoxo

Hi! Roselanders!

Doing a quick drive by.

Angelica sorry to hear about the surgery. Hope it helps. Back pain is the worst.

Super hope you recovered okay also.

Birdie good to hear your Dad is progressing.

Everyone that is in the path of the storm stay safe.

Coffee black or unsweetened tea is the bomb!

Linda

Driving by also but omgosh Angelica! I am so sorry you might have to have surgery and are having so many problems. That must be really painful! 12 weeks of recovery sounds crazy too?? I hope maybe that isn't necessary!

Keep me posted--I'll be thinking of you.

Smitty

Dottie said...

Hi Roseland! No snow here, just lots of thunder, wind, and rain. Perfect snuggling weather, but I had to get up and go out in it instead :(

I hope those getting snow are safe & warm. Being snowed in is sort of one of my favorite things.

Don't forget WTTR is availble on DVD today! If you haven't seen it, you must!

Eclipsed said...

Does anyone know if Welcome to the Rileys is only available for purchase online? I can't find it for sale at any stores in Michigan. I'm hoping to find it somewhere before the bad weather hits.

Groovie said...

ECLIPSED-
Yes, WTTR is available to purchase from itunes.
Hopefully everyone can get a copy of the dvd. It really is a great movie, good character driven story; and James, Melissa & Kristen are all excellent.
I was fortunate enough to have it playing in my city so I saw it in theatres but I know a lot of fans sadly missed out.

SueBee said...

So far we've only had ice. I hear the second round of the storm is coming.

Hello, everyone!

Susan

Eclipsed said...

GROOVIE,

Thank you. Even though I use it all the time to download music I didn't even think of iTunes. At least I can watch it on my computer until I'm able to purchase the Blu ray. Thanks again!

angelica1 said...

Morning Smitty,thank you,Of course I'll keep you posted :)

Sydney said...

Ugh, I just checked my netflix queue and it says that WTTR is on a short wait. Must be in demand, which is good. But that's annoying to me...I've waited FOREVER to see that movie, it never came to Denver. I guess I should just buy it.

Penny: 17* IS balmy as far as I'm concerned. When I left the house this morning (no snow day - BOO) it was -11*. I think it's up to -6* right now. It's pretty effing cold.

angelica1 said...

Morning Susan - Fingers crossed the storm is not too bad

Rhonda said...

Just a quick hello from work :)

Hope everyone is having a great day so far :)

I like milk in my tea and coffee :)

SueBee said...

Angelica

Oh no!

Mary said...

Susan,

I'm waiting out the storm too, but it sounds like the worse part will pass me by.

Angelica,

I don't want to air your medical issues, but did you say you're having spinal fusion?

Sydney said...

Oh and also The Yellow Handkerchief is on a "very long wait." WTF?

Angelica: wait, what was that? Surgery and a 12 week recovery? Woah. That sounds miserable and I will be praying for you that it doesn't come to that.

Also...it's weird to me that people put milk and sugar in their tea. I'm a coffee and tea person. Milk and sugar in my coffee...tea - naked.

I am so not in the mindset to be at work.

SueBee said...

Hi Angelica

I meant oh no about the surgery. You poor thing!

As for coffee, I'm not a grown up yet either.

As for tea--I take it with honey and splenda.

SueBee said...

Hi Penny

When it comes to weather, you just never know. It just might pass us too.

Susan

angelica1 said...

Susan - Phew! You had me worried for a second. lol

Penny - I don't think they'll fuse it,they were reluctant last time. They took a small piece of bone out to take the pressure off the nerve and are talking about doing the same again, since it did work it's just unfortunate more discs are out :(

Mary said...

Angelica,

Now I'm going to be really nosy. Are you seeing a neurosurgeon or an orthopedic surgeon?

angelica1 said...

Sydney - It did have amusing moments last time, one of my labradors was only 4 months old. They gave me a grabber thing because I couldn't bend and she kept trying to fight with it when I was picking things up :)

Dottie said...

Hi Angelica. So, you've been through this before? (Back surgery) I sure am sorry that you have to do it again. You have such a great attitude!

Kenzz said...

HI PL, angelica, dottie, Smitty, Groovie, Susan, Eclipsed, Sydney, Rhonda, and the rest of Roseland!! Greetings from the Arctic tundra (or so it looks out my windows)...

angelica, how brave you are with your future back surgery...that can't be a walk in the park by any means, but I hope the good wishes/healing thoughts of your fellow Roselanders will help to speed your recovery!

Hope everyone is safe and warm...since we're sharing, I'm having a cup of Tazo "Passion" tea (no milk, 1 Stevia In The Raw)

Kami said...

It is snowing so hard I can't see my neighbor's house, the wind is blowing 40mph and the wind chill is -18 F outside. My dog refused to go outside, choosing instead to pee on the cat who was asleep by the back door. The dog ran and got back in the bed as I stood in my kitchen cussing him...the cat wasn't happy either, the dog is a big dog, so it was a big mess.
So far this snow storm is AWESOME!

Kenzz said...

BTW Smitty... in case no one's told you yet, Gruff was brilliant last night defending Rose and shutting down the mini-troll. Just wanted you to know you should be proud :)

Have a fabulous day!

Kenzz said...

Hi Kami (waves)

what a funny story...poor kitty :(

I've got two small dogs who decided to use the hearth in front of the fireplace as a good spot to "go"...guess I should be thankful they stayed off the carpet!

Mary said...

I love a good snowstorm. Stay in the house, have a fire blazing, watch movies. It's great.

I've come to this conclusion now that I have no school-aged children around.

Super RN Gas Passer said...

ANGELICA..I see we have been discussing tea and coffee...I put the milk in my tea this morning because I figured that was thr proper British way to do it...and I liked it very much..to my surprise..I drink tea usually iced with Splenda but lately TruVia which is a crystaalized version of a plant based sweetener called stevia..it has zero calories and all artifical sweetners they are now saying are very bad for us...I drink my coffe black and very strong..I don't care for milk in it.

Anonymous said...

Kenzz--I heard. LOL--I guess maybe he was like getting all his work frustrations out or something??

We only have rain but its supposed to get down to like 24 tonight...brrrr!

Stay safe everyone-

Okay--I'm sorry but my word is hummpy--lol that sounds ...okay nevermind.

bye!

Kami said...

Penny, thanks I you're right I have the wrong attitude about this storm, I have turned on the basement fireplace...thank you Gas fireplaces..flip a switch...I have put an old movie, really old,
1930s old, The Good Earth, in the dvd player, I have made some hot chocolate and I am going to relax and enjoy this.

angelica1 said...

Hi Kenzz, thank you!

Kami - That sounds like something my dgos would do!

Mary said...

I just learned something about tea.
Don't leave the bag in the cup if you aren't going to pay attention to what you are doing.
I just picked up my cup while reading, didn't pay attention to the level of tea and now how a tea stain and tea bag in my lap.

Dottie said...

Hi Angelica, Kami, Kenzz, Smitty, SuperRN, PennyLane (hopefully I didn't leave anyone out!)

Kenzz and Kami it sounds like you have some serious potty issues w/your critters! LOL

It is getting colder by the hour here in Louisiana. A good day to put on a big pot of chili and curl up w/a good book. Or Roseland! ;)

Mary said...

That's "have" not how

Groovie said...

Wow, u all seem to be making the most of your crazy storms. Love the idea of a cozy fireplace.

I'm freezing today, high in the 50s and a freeze warning tonight, temps in the 20s tonight. COLD! At least we don't have snow, etc to deal with. I seriously wouldn't know how to function in that weather.

Hope everyone is staying safe & warm!

I'm sitting in a work meeting lol a very pointless meeting.

Barbabeau said...

Great post Rose! Pure ego me wants to see Kristen and Rob together at BAFTA's.It will be a glorious day for the true fans and an agony for the haters:)

Definitely their relationship is not an entertainment for me too, they are just two beautiful, smart, talented actors that I respect a lot and public events are the only place to see them together and don't feel guilty.

Love Kristen's comment about the bleeding face. I happened to know from first hand experience with my husbands thick beard that takes a lot of good kissing to get your face sore to bleeding, few rehearsal kisses and few during filming are not enough;)

It seems you had troll tantrums last night again. Trolls remind me of the Bunny from the Duracell commercial, they never quit and just keep going in circles.

Angelica, I hope you don't need a surgery.

Have a great day everyone.
