Hi George!
I'm so sorry I haven't written in a while.
"Real" life. "Fake" life.
It all takes a toll on you after a while.
In all honesty...
There has just been SO much going on with
Rob and Kristen
That I've been a bit overwhelmed.
Cannes was a HUGE success for both
Robert and Kristen
(and for their fans as well.)

Since Cannes, Robert has been busy promoting Cosmopolis.
Looking dapper and debonair as always.
And look George...

Don't be ridiculous.
Kristen has been busy herself promoting SWATH
First on MTV
Looking as beautiful and gloriously happy
as I have ever seen her.
And then we have Kristen in NYC
doing the morning talk show rounds...
And gorgeous.
I'm loving her wardrobe choices.
A lot.
Kristen just looks so damn happy.
I love it.
She's giggling and smiling
and enjoying herself...
But George...
You know that there are those out there...
The Sour Grape Posse.
Can't you just seem them, George?
All bitter and angry.
Trying like hell to keep their dying delusion alive.
They will say or do anything so they can cling to the illusion.
I just wanted to address a couple of things...
1. Kristen wasn't booed on any Red Carpet.
I watched them.
She wasn't booed.
Not even remotely.
There was a crowd reaction to an announcement being made
but it wasn't booing...
and it wasn't directed at Kristen.
A couple of photographers did boo at her decision
to not have her picture taken alone
at the OTR photocall...
But Kristen didn't want to be singled out
(opposite of a famewhore, btw)
because there's no *I* in ON THE ROAD.
But that's a far cry from the red carpet
and not a big deal...
If she were booed all over Cannes
It would have been written about all over the place.
It wasn't.
Because she wasn't.
2. I would normally say that the above gif is supposed to
be a zombie... looking for a meal.
But in this case...
It's the Ninnies looking for actual brains.
They don't have them.
Obviously.
George...
Your adorable head is full of fluff and stuffing...
and you have more brains than the lot of them.
3. So many delusional lies, George.
So many.
And I usually can ignore most of them...
But since Rob and Kristen were caught
K-I-S-S-I-N-G
on the balcony at Cannes...
It has gotten so much worse.
Why can't people just accept what's right in front of them, George?
Robert and Kristen are together.
That's all there is to it.
So simple.
So easy.
4. Don't you just want to say that sometimes?
Well. I do, George.
I just can't help being protective of Kristen.
Robert, too... but to a lesser degree
because he doesn't get the severity of bullshit
that is thrown at Kristen on a daily basis.
Yes, George... I know they don't NEED my protection.
But I like them outside of being actors.
I like them as human beings.
And when I see someone I like being trashed
and attacked and lied about
for no reason other than you don't like who they
choose to spend their time with...
Well
That gets on my nerves a touch.
A tad.
A trace.
Because you know what George?
No matter how the bitter haters
spin their bullshit...
Robert and Kristen are together.
They showed their solidarity in Cannes.
They were there for each other.
They supported each other.
They were WITH each other.
It's real.
So deal.
Finally George...
It looks like Rob won't be making it to the MTV Movie Awards
on Sunday night.
To some people its the end of the fucking world.
To others...
It's just another flimsy straw to cling to.
George...
even you know that Rob is busy with Cosmopolis promo.
Yes... I will admit that I'm a bit disappointed.
But that's only because winning 'best kiss'
was their thing.
And one of the few chances we got to see them
interact on a public stage.
But its not like they won't be at future award shows.
And you know what else, George?
I'm curious as to how they will handle this
if they do win best kiss.
Or if they don't win best kiss...
Interesting.
Still not sure what to think about this...
But we shall see... won't we?
And Kristen will be there looking all gorgeous
and probably wearing something phenomenal.
So it's all good.

I'm still on a bit of a high from seeing him
all dressed up with Kristen at Cannes.
And his part in OTR is getting good buzz...

Rose, great post, as usual. YES, they are together and it makes most of just "giddy happy" for whatever reason.
Has everyone seen the MTV SWATH interview with Kristen? Kristen apparently has stopped smoking also and speaking of "giddy", she was ABSOLUTELY GIDDY when praising Rob on his performance in Cosmopolis. Said "we are so proud of each other" .....
I believe that was even more epic than the kissing on the balcony, though I really LOVE to see that. When he puts his head on her shoulder, it's so sweet.

People are strange and this "fandom" is like a science experiment at times. You never know what kind of reaction you are going to get.
I only watch these awards shows if one or both will be there. It's cute when they are together at them (seems like they enjoy it more). It will be interesting to see how it is done if they win best kiss and Rob isn't there. We shall see...
Kristen is rocking it both outfit-wise at her promo events and with her thoughts. I really enjoyed reading that "Interview" interview. Finally an interviewer who didn't care who she is dating and had insightful questions.
Rob...he looked so good at the Paris screening! Loved the shirt/suit color combo. I'm super happy that Cosmopolis is getting such great feedback!! And all these projects on the horizon. He is a man on a mission!
Looks like Tom and Sienna had a baby shower just recently. Exciting times ahead for the two of them! Not too much longer.
Finally the best news to me is that Rob and Kristen have given up the ciggies. Bravo!! It will be hard but they have each other for support. I wish them lots of success with this.
Dottie and Olivia- Thanks for the well wishes during the storm. We didn't have any issues from it.

ReplyDeleteI think it's their very vocal support for each other of late that has tipped the lunatics over the edge.It's very difficult to spin it into their ridiculous delusions when you have Rob repeatedly complimenting her,on video, where they can't deny he said it and Kristen telling anyone in earshot how proud she is of him!
I think the best part of the last couple of months is seeing how happy and excited they both are and how much fun they seem to be having with their careers and their personal lives
I have tickets for SWATH on Monday and Friday with different groups of friends, most of the evening showings are sold out for this weekend at our local cinema :)

Rob and Kristen have been looking incredibly gorgeous and happy promoting their movies and I couldn't be happier for for them.
Congrats to Rob and Kristen for giving up smoking. I as well gave up smoking 4 months ago and alraedy fell much healthier. Hope they can stick to it.

Still, I'm not disappointed that Rob won't be there. He's promoting Cosmopolis. He's a grown up now. Me? I won't be watching MTV. They were the only reason I watched that inane show anyway.
Cannes was incredible. So, so happy for both Rob and Kristen's movies being so well received. How awesome was it for them both to have premiers there? OMG. And I love that they did it in their own style, once again. No public PDA on the red carpet, but still together and still supportive of one another. And Tom, of course.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful day here in the South )looking for some rain later, though). REALLY beautiful day - because Sox is taking me to see SWATH tonight! WOO HOO! Wish I had gone to the very first showing, but wanted to make a date of it because I know the hubs is going to love it, too!
Kristen is such a lovely young lady, and has looked and sounded incredibly poised and lovely throughout her promotional interviews. And, goodness me - Rob IS such a dapper young man! All gorg at his premieres and such. They are such a busy pair - I know they will be ready for some alone & quiet time together.
And the interviews! Such awesome little tidbits! Plans, subtle confirmations, and no more smoking! Hoorah! Such a healthy choice, and a hard thing to accomplish, but together I know they can be successful.
Rhonda, thanks for asking! I actually finished on the 22nd, so have enjoyed over a week of my Summer already. The only bad thing is - every week of vacay that goes by, I'm one more week closer to going back. Ah, retirement is looking so inviting!

A dark world of hopelessness, opened up into a land of enchantment and delight. Love floated in the midst, enfolding the key players, taking us along with them. Just the kind of movie/story that I love.
Kristen gives a perfect interpretation of Snow White, and each cast member hits their character's mark perfectly.

ReplyDeleteFirst and foremost Rose I went to see SWATH tonight & it awesome, and Kristen did such a good job with her Snow White role. I do believe that the director didnt do a good job of letting Kristen do more for some parts of the movie he didn't use her full potential. And of course there were already a lot of bad comments about Kristen being her old stuffy self, no real emotion in her acting, she ruined the whole movie, blah blah blah.
ReplyDeleteNow on to that gorgeous picture of Rob in his suit with the dark pink colored shirt is he beautiful in a suit or what!!! He looks so tan in that picture also, must be from all that surfing he's been doing in LA the past couple months. That tan makes him even more handsome if that is even possible.
The video of Rob & Kristen is just the sweetest thing i've ever seen I could watch it all day long just to see how extremely in love and happy they are, they snuggle with each other like two lovesick teenagers. I am so happy for them that it makes me giddy which is crazy at my age but I don't care I wish them a long,long,long very happy life for them.
And the pictures of Tom with Kristen at the OTR premiere's were great they look like such good close friends that really care about each other, which we all know is exactly what Tom is doing, taking care of Kristen while she's away from Rob. That red dress Kristen dressed in was just gorgeous on her, what a beauty.

ReplyDeleteSending my congratulations to Kristen, Charlize, Chris, Sam, Rupert, the dwarf posse, and the overwhelmingly long list of people involved in every aspect of bringing SWatH to the big screen. Standing on my chair, clapping and yelling "Bravo! Bravo!". Also, throwing my drink on the ground and shouting "Hell, yes!" Home run, dear cast and crew. I was dazzled, blown away, and very satisfied. This epic rendering of the tale touched within me an amazing array of emotions and senses. Happy to report a full theatre, all ages and equal mix of male and female. Many entire families. Plus....the audience gave a round of applause at the end. Please hear us loud and clear, Universal, we are ready for SWatH II.
Will peek in later this evening. Have to work half a day at the shoppe, then will try to see SWatH again. Perhap, will even tune in to an unnamed show tonight to catch a glimpse at Kristen.
Slept in until 6:45 this morning! Hooray for vacation.

I went w/a group of 10 to see SWATH yesterday. AMAZING!!! It's definitely a 'must see on the big screen' movie.
ReplyDeleteAll of the actors were extremely good. I could go on and on about Kristen. She conveys so much w/just her facial expressions. That's always been one of her strengths, but more than ever in SWATH.

OLIVIA. Wow. What an awesome review!!!! I was hoping to go this afternoon but I have to go to a funeral. A coworkers husband. Then tonight I have plans with my husband and my 2 sisters and brother- in- laws. We are going to a cookout and outdoor concert. I would rather go to the movie ... Ugh...I plan to go tomorrow afternoon!
