Things have been S L O W here in Twilight land.

Rob is still working on WFE...

Possibly until the beginning of August.

Kristen is still in Montreal...

It was announced that Robert and Ashley will be presenting 

at the Teen Choice awards (Aug 9th)

No mention of Kristen

(who is out of the country at the moment working...

or IS she?)

Hatesten is ALL over that.

"Rob and Ashley are probably secretly dating!"

Sheesh.

Yes... I'm so SURE Rob and Ashley will make out on stage.

We have seen so many pictures of Rob and Ashley all over the place

Ashley flew to Budapest to see Robert.

And London. More than once.

And Ashley went to the RM premiere.

And Ashley is always the girl that Rob is seen with in public.

Oh wait.

That would be KRISTEN.

Desperation smells like Hyena.

I get a lot of emails talking about how Rob and Kristen

keep DENYING their relationship...

But that people like me (you know, the sane logical ones)

Just aren't listening.

Really?

Apparently the following is Rob and/or Kristen denying their relationship.

(I'm not making these up, either)

1. Rob read emails from his dad on Leno.

His dad said he should kiss a lady's hand.

Somehow that is his father's way of saying

he doesn't approve of Kristen...

Thus... a denial.

2. Rob says he would "like to go on a date"

That is his way of saying I'M SINGLE!!!

Of course...

If he really wanted to say that...

I'm pretty sure I'M SINGLE would have 

been much more effective at getting the point across.

Could it be that he just wanted to go on A DATE?

3. When asked about the other...

Robert and Kristen will say 

"Rob is a good friend...

Kristen and I are very close..."

So...

Because they use the term FRIEND when asked

about each other...

That is a denial.

Well.

What do you expect them to say?

Both Rob and Kristen said they won't discuss

their relationship

(Hint #1)

So how do you think they are going to refer 

to each other?

Rob is my boyfriend...

Kristen is my lover...

Really?

Rob and Kristen are obviously GREAT friends...

And if you don't want to discuss personal details with the world...

Good Friend is at least a honest way to describe the other...

Without getting too personal.

4. There are so many more...

The sun turning black.

Kristen supposedly 'shocked' when asked about 

having a boyfriend.

Not a real denial in the bunch.

The thing is...

It's been well over a YEAR since

Robert or Kristen have come out and said

any kind of REAL denial.

Back when they really weren't together...

YET.

When Kristen was still with Oregano...

And since that time...

All they will say now is that they don't want

to discuss their relationship.

That they want to keep it private.

Meaning... of course...

That there IS something to keep private.

5. I miss Rob and Kristen.

We haven't seen but one picture of Kristen 

since she got to Montreal.

And it looks like she won't be at the TCA this year...

But stuff like that happens when you are working

and you are out of the country...

My thoughts?

It's only a matter of time before we see

Robert and Kristen 

Together.

Their work schedules might complicate the timing...

but like someone told me yesterday...

It's finally here.

Now I can watch it all the damn time.

I LOVED this movie.

And while you might think that I only say that

because I am a fan of Kristen's...

The truth is Kristen KILLS in this.

She IS Joan Jett.

In fact...

I adore Joan Jett, too.

But look at Kristen.

Because in the movie there is no difference.

Kristen is underrated.

Big time.

You don't have to like Kristen to like this movie.

But you can't help but admire her talent after seeing it.

So.

We haven't seen much of Robert lately...

Unless you want to count a blurry, distant picture of some guy in sunglasses...

Who may or may not be Robert...

Even though the people who took the picture

NEVER said it was Rob.

That was done by people...

Who pounce immediately on anything to supposedly show

Robert with anyone other than Kristen.

The way that picture was analyzed and picked apart...

Saturdays Sarcastic Soapbox

First things first.

I saw The Runaways yesterday.

And

I loved it.

Kristen Stewart was born to play Joan Jett.

She didn't just play a role...

She fucking became Joan.

The determination.

The anger.

Knowing what she wants to do...

and doing whatever it takes

To fucking get there.

Kristen does anger well.

It was great to see her outside of the Twilight box

away from meek Bella...

And fucking swear and wear tons of eyeliner

and play a fucking guitar.

Dakota was wonderful in this movie, too...

and the story was kinda centered around Cherie Currie

Dakota nailed it.

But I wanted to watch Kristen.

I wanted to know more about Joan.

And like someone said to me

"You miss Kristen when she's not onscreen"

They were right.

Is the movie perfect?

Of course not.

But it tells an interesting story.

And while I have always been aware of Joan Jett

And liked her music...

Now I want her music.

The best line in the whole movie?

Towards the end

Cherie is burnt out

She wants to quit...

She tells Joan that she wants her life back

And as Joan watches Cherie leave

She says...

"This IS my life"

Excellent.

Walking in the rain.

I know.

Anyway.

Lots of bullshit all over the place.

I'm not sure any of it really deserves a mention.

But a few things come to mind...

1. Let's talk about Manips.

Picture Manipulations.

I get it.

Some are kinda funny...

Some are kinda cute...

Some are downright creepy and gross.

Not a fan.

But I get the joke.

What I don't get is people manipulating

people into photos that they aren't in...

and then claiming it's a legit picture.

3. What never ceases to amaze me

is that people actually believe that

that they love their fans.

They appreciate all they have done for them.

But you don't really believe they are up nights

And then there came Twilight.

I read all the books before I knew who was going 

to play Edward Cullen in the movie.

I had *my* version of Edward in my head.

When I found out who was playing Edward...

I wasn't impressed.

I didn't recognize the name.

I looked at those early pictures...

(Seriously? Is that Robert Pattinson??)

That was NOT my Edward.

No way. No how.

But this was close...

Beautiful... yet dangerous.

And it kept getting better...

And better...

And Robert became Edward.

And I love Edward Cullen.

Edward is what brought me to Robert.

And then the more I got to 'know' Rob...

The more I loved him, too.

Which brings us to Remember Me.

I've never seen Rob look so damn good.

And he was good in this movie.

It's ROBERT!

Why didn't more people who loved him in

the Twilight movies...

Go see him in this?
