Couple of things...

1. This is another picture from DIOR.

Rob looks great (Of course)

He's perfect for this type of thing.

You can't go wrong with that face.

So then why must people ruin a good thing?

Getting all worked up over every picture

like they have never seen a picture of Rob 

in a white shirt before!

OK.

Not only has it been done before...

But I dare say

It was pretty fucking good.

Maybe its the hair.

I guess I miss that tousled mess more than I thought.

I get it.

Rob is gorgeous.

No one is questioning that. Ever.

But that isn't even the point.

Its not DIOR ROB that has the Robjectifiers 

shredding their panties and dry humping every pixel...

It's the hope

Because we ALL know how much more attractive 

Robert is when he is FREE!

It's not easy to mute/block/ignore the overwrought fangirling...

I often read how 'them dumb sheeps' only like Rob because he's with Kristen.

Rob's 'TRUE' fans only like Rob when he's NOT with Kristen.

2. This fucking breaks my heart.

I LOVE James Gandolfini.

Sincerely.

When I heard he had died...

I cried.

It's tragic.

James was a phenomenal actor.

But he was not comfortable in the limelight.

Sound familiar?

Its no wonder that he and Kristen clicked on a personal level.

Acting was their job

The rest was stuff you had to deal with.

I just watched James on "Inside the actors studio" yesterday.

You could tell he didn't really want to be there...

He was so uncomfortable being in the spotlight...

talking about himself.

He sometimes fumbled for the right words

He kept his head down...

His hands covering his face

And he rarely made eye contact.

You could tell he did this for the film students.

He wanted to help them.

And when he talked..

He talked to them.

I loved WELCOME TO THE RILEYS

and it is because of the two people in this clip.

This is one of my favorite scenes...

Kristen plays this damaged wounded soul

and she wants his approval.

She needs it.

"Don't be mad at me."

She plays it brilliantly...

and so does he.

So...

Remember what James had to say about Kristen?

Kristen Stewart is one of the mad ones. But mad in a beautiful way. 

And she is determined to make people mad. 

To show them she is more than Bella in Twilight. 

To show them she does burn, and smolder,

 and wants more out of her career and life. 

And smolder she does.

As soon as she steps into the movie On the Road,

 you can’t take your eyes off her.

 As Marylou, whenever she fixes her gaze, 

you see someone who will go as far as she can,

 and do it as mad as she can, to live and feel alive.

 And it is sexy and scary and reckless and smart.

 She can play all of these things. She has them at her fingertips.

 She is just beginning. She is fearless.

 And that can be that good, and that can be very bad.

 But she is smart enough to handle it.

Thinking about it, I am smiling already.

This is from someone who KNOWS Kristen.

He didn't have to say anything about her performance in OTR.

But he did.

And he was right.

And now we have what Kristen says about James...

Gutted is the perfect word for how this feels.

She didn't have to say anything.

There are a lot of people playing the "BLAME GAME" right now.

Kristen's fault.

Rob's fault.

Her friends... his friends.

Everyone has an opinion.

Not any one of them matters.

Except Rob and Kristen's.

They will figure this out.

Pride Goeth Before a Fall...

I can't remember the last time I posted back to back posts.

But my email and DMs were overflowing with comments

on my last post...

So here I am.

First  things first...

Contrary to Ninnie belief...

I adore Robert Pattinson.

And yes... he looks fucking good in the above picture.

Doesn't he always?

I've always had a weakness for profile pics of Rob anyway...

Intense, smoldering, black and white profile pics?

Fucking Brilliant.

Just because I don't fucking lose my mind and constantly

talk about DYING over every picture released...

Just because I don't behave the way that YOU do

Doesn't mean I don't appreciate everything Rob.

I do.

I just do it in my own way.

Not yours.

I've said it before and I will say it again...

I will ALWAYS be Rob's fan.

Everyone doesn't have to react the same way ...

Who the hell is that girl... and how fucking LUCKY is she?

She has a similar 'look' to Sarah Gadon... doesn't she?

There is a fandom obsession with blondes.

Of course the reaction was typical whenever

Rob is kissing anyone other than Kristen.

But some people forget Rob is 'acting' here...

It's not like it was taken while he was on a date.

Its not different than him kissing any other actress.

Let's talk about the "Proud" thing.

Wow.

People really got ALL BENT over that one.

Seriously bent.

I was called all kinds of names like

All because I stated MY opinion on MY blog.

I'm sure I've used the word PROUD in the past discussing 

Rob/Kristen/Tom

I guess I'm just not comfortable with the word in general

especially in terms of a Fragrance deal.

But hey... that's just me.

Being proud of someone to me...

entails more than just signing a commercial contract.

Am I happy for Rob?

Yes.

Thrilled.

Excited.

But for me to be proud of someone...

usually means they stepped out of their comfort zone...

Stepped up when it was hard to move forward

Went above and beyond what was expected of them.

I'm sorry if I don't feel that way about the Dior campaign.

I think Rob and Dior are a natural.

A brilliant pairing.

Rob's face was made for this type of thing.

I'm sure it will be ALL kinds of successful.

I think from now on...

I will leave the 'proud' moments to the people

who actually know and love Rob.

His friends.

Kristen.

And his parents.

Now they have a lot to be proud of.

And that leaves me to Kristen.

Supposedly she is on some sort of road trip.

If true...

I hope she's safe... and having fun.

It's not always the destination...

Sometimes it's just the ride.

And on my final note...

I adore BOTH Rob and Kristen.

I have never denied that I love seeing them together.

Happy.

In love.

Yes.

I want them to work out any issues they may have

and I want them to move forward together.

But again...

Contrary to idiot belief

If the day comes that I see Rob

happy and smiling with someone else

or the same with Kristen...

I won't throw myself off a bridge.

Life will go on

and I will still adore Rob and Kristen.

But the fact of the matter remains...

True love

Never dies.

Incredibly corny... but true.

It's all around them...

They just have to reach out and take it.

Someone's Knocking at the Dior

This is my 3rd post in as many days...

I'm having a problem putting my thoughts into words.

Well.

Nice words.

I've been incredibly bitchy.

Like way.

Way.

Wicked Witch of the West bitchy.

Maybe it's because I've been sick since I got back

from Alaska.

(I know... woe is me)

Maybe it's because dear people in my life are suffering

and there's nothing I can do to make it better.

Maybe it's just because this fandom brings out the

very best bitch in me.

I'm guessing its all three.

Anyway.

Here goes number three.

1. Rob and Dior

Putting that face next to any product is a smart move.

Robert is the 'face' of Dior Homme Fragrance.

And oh what a face.

Although I prefer his scruffy more relaxed look...

Rob cleans up REAL nice.

I mean..

No one does it better.

I look forward to seeing what they do with this campaign.

It's kinda exciting to see what we will get next.

NaY?

People go overboard with their lust and desire for Rob.

Kinda gross.

I get that he's gorgeous and witty and intelligent and adorable.

Believe me.

I get it.

But good grief...

Why must some people cross the fangirling line

into completely creepy?

Seriously.

Control the Creep Factor.

And while we're on the NaY...

The word PROUD was being bandied about rather liberally.

It was like Rob was some sort of hero 

for signing a lucrative deal promoting a fragrance.

A fragrance, people.

Perfume. 

"I'm SO Proud of Rob!!!"

Proud?

(See, here's where I get bitchy... Sorry)

I don't get the 'pride' in someone for basically doing his job.

"Oh Rob is going to be working on a movie this summer!

I'm SO proud to be his fan!"

Um.

OK.

Proud doesn't work for me in this scenario.

Rob is a working actor.

I'm looking forward to seeing him in his upcoming roles...

But...

Not the first time this has happened.

Not the last.

No one really believed it.

This fandom has become incredibly cynical over the past 4 years

and with good reason.

There are constantly fake sightings being tweeted about.

9 out of 10 turn out to be false

or unproven.

Like I said... typical.

But alas...

This last sighting

for some reason...

Rattled some cages.

WE MUST PROTECT ROB!

Or embarrass him.

NaY!!

Some overly invested people

who thought it was their job to worry about 

how Rob is perceived in the gossip rags...

Took it upon themselves to stalk, harass and threaten

the 'reporter' who dared to believe this random tweet.

This means WAR!

Endless DMs threatening to 'expose' her.

Endless tweets to E! and any other rag who dared to post this...

If it wasn't so pathetic... It would have been hilarious.

Wait.

It was FUCKING HILARIOUS.

First off...

No one really believed the sighting.

Sure E! was hoping it was getting a scoop of sorts...

(not the first time a gossip site has done this...btw)

So attacking this reporter and anyone else

just brought MORE attention to the story.

So then MORE tabloids picked up the story.

Smart move, Sherlock.

You showed them.

Secondly.

It's amazing what people will do to further their agenda.

Not that long ago...

This same group of people

(You know...the ones who want to EXPOSE THE LIES!)

Bombarded every gossip rag on twitter

about the fake 'valet' story.

Remember that?

They sent dozens and dozens and dozens of tweets to 

every rag... over and over again

(sound familiar?)

Hoping they could further their vile disgusting agenda against Kristen.

Was it true?

Nope.

Did they care?

Nope.

But the truth wasn't important that day, was it?

Funny how that works.

Hypocrite isn't a strong enough word.

every fucking day.

They want to believe they have finally WON!

But they keep looking over their shoulder...

Paranoid.

Scared.

on Kristen and that they don't talk?

If you actually think that they don't still LOVE each other?

It's not in the words that you told me

Love isn't always on time

Rob looks GOOD.

Kristen looks GOOD.

Oh dear.

Such simple pictures.

Rob with a fan.

Kristen with a fan.

They look happy.

The way they usually look when they take fan pics.

Can we just leave it at that?

Quit analyzing every picture that comes out.

It doesn't do any good.

Just self inflicted drama.

It doesn't tell you anything you want to know.

There are no secrets to be revealed.

Final thoughts.

1. I just got back from a 10 day trip.

Seattle.

Alaska.

It was wonderful.

I was basically cut off from online stuff.

And while there were a couple of people

I wanted to keep in touch with...

It was nice to get 'away'.

Pieces of blue ice floating all around us...

That's a glacier.

Very cool.

Very pretty.

Kinda puts life into perspective... doesn't it?

Life goes on.

People need to remember that

when they get all worked up over nothing.

The constant scrutiny over what shirt Kristen is wearing...

whose hat... or sunglasses...

and where is her ring?

Doesn't do anyone any good.

It's not going to make a difference to what is.

Who knows.

We don't.

They just go together... don't they?

After last July...

Everyone said they were 'broken up'.

No statement was ever made.

A supposed moving out.

Endless gossip about 'after' the break up.

Kinda like now.

People often ask me what I think is going on...

And not that my opinion matters

but..

(be careful what you ask for!)

I think Rob and Kristen are 2 passionate people.

They love hard.

And that means they fight hard, too.

Do I think they are 'broken up'?

Not really. 

But I do think things escalated to what we have now.

People get angry.

People say and do things they might normally not say and do

under calmer more rational circumstances.

Neither Rob or Kristen have behaved like 2 people

who have just opted out of a long term relationship.

They can find their way back to each other.

If that's where they want to be.

But its their relationship... their life.

They will do what they want in their own time.

Yes. One of my ALL TIME favorite pics.

I just want them to be happy... you know?

And I've always believed they were happiest when

they were next to each other.

I still believe Rob and Kristen are handling this just fine...
It's the fandom that brings the drama and the angst.
