I guess I'm just not comfortable with the word in general
especially in terms of a Fragrance deal.

Being proud of someone to me...
entails more than just signing a commercial contract.
Am I happy for Rob?
Yes.
Thrilled.
Excited.
But for me to be proud of someone...
usually means they stepped out of their comfort zone...
Stepped up when it was hard to move forward
Went above and beyond what was expected of them.
I'm sorry if I don't feel that way about the Dior campaign.
I think Rob and Dior are a natural.
A brilliant pairing.
Rob's face was made for this type of thing.
I'm sure it will be ALL kinds of successful.
I think from now on...
I will leave the 'proud' moments to the people
who actually know and love Rob.
His friends.

And his parents.
Now they have a lot to be proud of.
And that leaves me to Kristen.
Supposedly she is on some sort of road trip.

I have never denied that I love seeing them together.

HAPPY FRIDAY, ROSELAND!!! I'm so far behind on the comments it's not even funny. So, please forgive me not mentioning anyone's names or commenting on everyone's own personal issues.
PIST -- Regarding the "fake Rob/fake Alannah" photos, I believe you are correct. I had previously looked at them a couple of weeks ago when the rumors first started and the dimples or something weren't right and the chin wasn't right ... anyway, it was a fun thought and would have explained her super-smile at that moment!!
At the risk of sounding like a broken record ... I truly believe that Rob & Kris are together. Don't know exactly where Kristen is at the moment but that doesn't matter as I'm sure that Rob and all of her other loved ones know where she is and that is what's important. Whatever the reason for her road trip (did she NEED A REASON?), I truly hope she enjoyed herself (and perhaps is still enjoying herself) and will feel refreshed before starting rehearsals for X-Ray Camp. I heard last night that R & K will BOTH be filming in LA for most of July. Apparently Rob will only be filming a small portion of his movie in TO ... this is contrary to other rumors we heard.
So, the drama continues for most of this "screwed-up" fandom ... but I believe the majority of us are smiling and happy just KNOWING that they are going to be fine.

Kristen was here in Nashville today. She got a tattoo at Pride and Glory Tattoo on 2nd Ave downtown. All of them did. He says she ask him to keep it quiet about what she got. She was three blocks from where I work at the Jail. He said she was really sweet. Real cool and down to earth. They left there and headed to airport. I suppose they are headed home. I hope she enjoyed our little hometown city.

One of the comments on the new pics of Kristen at the airport is that she was trying or did take a piece of wood with her. Don't know if that is true or not. She looks very slim from the back. I think she has lost some weight. But she is naturally slim, so who knows. Glad to see that she is with friends and having fun. One of the comments on RD says she appears to have a black mark on the inside of her wrist; that this could be the tat.

Love watching movies on TCM and just saw one that I can't believe that I have never watched before. A very oldie but extremely goodie.....from 1948, with the wonderful Gene Kelly and Judy Garland, obviously a musical..... "The Pirate." Thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it to all who like classic movies.
Another excellent movie that appeared on TCM this week is " Nocturne" (1946) Film Noir starring George Raft....a very entertaining detective mystery.
Wish I had more time during the school year to watch these great classics.
The hosts always introduce and end the films with very interesting background information. This clip was recommended to show the dancing genius of the Nicolas Brothers who appeared in "The Pirate", dancing with Gene Kelly. I did not know that many present day entertainers, including the late Michael Jackson, studied their dancing. Enjoy this little giftie from the movie "Stormy Weather."

Went outside around midnight and could not believe that moon. It was so white here in Oklahoma it looked like one of those new light bulbs, and it was small. I'm with you on the harvest moon thing. Usually when the moon is bright it's large lol. Very creepy...but also awesome!

Hubs had equipment failure last night at the observatory so no pics of the moon plus it was very cloudy last night so between watching the guy walk across the Grand Canyon on the tightrope and running outside but never finding the moon, I missed it altogether ....ugh
I think the tightrope guy should stop while he's ahead or he's going to end up just like his grandfather did in 1978...dead...eventually his luck is going to run out...just sayin...

You are welcome artemisluvv. We all tend to forget that true love comes from the inside. The soul. We have to stop listening to all the things from the outside. The reporters, paps, inside sources, so called friends. Lot's of people were at Rob's party but not all were close, in his immediate circle, tell my business to, friends. If they were there wouldn't have been any tweets or if there were it would most likely been along the lines of "Great F**king Party" and that would be it. No personal comments about Kristen or Rob and definitely no pictures. These people are looking for their fifteen minutes of fame on the backs of Rob and Kristen because they are loved so well. Do we go around broadcasting to the paps, reporters and strangers are casual friends anything about our love life? I don't. I learn daily that what we think we know, we don't know. So let's sit back and let them do what they do. Love each other the best way they know how. Without everyone else in their business. I feel in my heart they are still together but hey that's me. I love them together and apart but it is a love and respect for who and what they represent. Good people trying to live their lives on their own terms. Just saying..........

It does look like her but if you think about it no one has tweeted about her but one person who said she was not at the party as far as he know. Kind of a weird way to say it. Could it have been so slammed that he didn't see everyone or was he there for just a moment in time? I read his blog he said he made an innocent comment to a reporter before he knew and the reporter ran with it. He's wasn't sure at the time if K was there or not. He never did elaborate. Some say he said what he said for the fifteen minutes of fame. Ridiculous Dude!!........

Just got an e-mail from a friend saying she was there. They said they read it in a tweet that says K was there and that everyone was asked not to say she was. Part of the mystery. Hello everyone! Arleen waves always! Keep up with the workouts and enjoy the endorphins! I am full out in cycling mode. I have to go early, very hot and humid here in Indy. Typical. Sweating balls and lots of ass swass...that is what my daughter calls it when u have leather seats in the car...ass swass! She makes me laugh and she is so off the wall. @Lizzy....I am with u 100%. my faith in Rob and Kristen being together has never faltered. It will take more than a rag reporter/site to convince me otherwise. You know they just need a story and if R/K are laying low and not giving them one, they will fabricate their own. I think it will not be long until we see the reunited/back together stories appear. just wait, it's coming. July is almost here and another shit storm is on the horizon.

I live in Nashville and work at the Criminal Justice Center on second ave. three blocks straight up from where she was tatted. I had just come up that way around one pm. I was like "If I knew they were in there I would have stopped"

I wanted to wish our dear, sweet FGM Miss DK a happy move and a special wedding week!
Such sadness about James Gandolfini. What an amazing talent - he will be missed. I know the news of his passing was devastating to Kristen, since she was visiting NOLA at the time.
I hope everyone is doing well. Summer is in full swing around here!
