Viewer Discretion Advised.

I know.
This is a fucking rag.
And this was written in 2009.
But you do realize...
That even blind idiot squirrels
find an acorn every once in a while.

And the truth is
They were right then... and now.
Rob and Kristen are completely
Obsessed.
Addicted.
Intoxicated.
With each other.

"Desperate to be together...
and miserable when apart."

Yeah.
Who would have thought that OK
would have foreseen years into the future?
You go, Squirrel!

OK...

Let's talk about a couple of things.

1. Stephenie Meyers.

She was asked about Twilight.

"I get further away every day. I am so over it.
For me, it's not a happy place to be,"
Meyer tells Variety while promoting
the new movie she produced, "Austenland."

There was a lot of stuff said about Stephenie...

A lot of fans of Twilight felt betrayed.
Some idiots felt like she was talking about Rob and Kristen.
Some agreed with her.

I imagine she would like to focus on her present projects
without Twilight being thrown in there...
But.
Where would she be without Twilight?
Surely she would be in the meadow...
all alone.

She could have handled it better.
It's that simple.
"I am so over it"
makes her sound less than thankful
for all Twilight has given her.
"It's not a happy place to be"
Kinda disrespects all the people
who have loved and supported Twilight
all these years...
And made it possible for her to have other projects.

Stephenie uses words for a living.
She chose poorly.

I hear circus music...

And Brad Walleye (I know that's not correct)
(His name doesn't matter)
He made some lame 'joke' about Kristen.
I never heard of the guy.
Not until a zillion people tweeted at him
and gave him attention.
I get that people want to defend Kristen.
I feel protective over her as well...
But truly...
Tweeting at this guy only brought attention
to him and what he said...
Lose/Lose

I'm sure he LOVED all the chances he got to
try and be all witty and amusing
while mocking "Kristen Stewart Fans"
Look at how engaged he was in responding
to everyone who mentioned him.
And didn't you find all the THANK YOU's
to the lunatics... heartwarming?

Now this nobody will be enshrined
in the Hater Hall of Fame
alongside Joan Rivers, Donald Trump
and anyone else who has made fun of Kristen
to get attention.

Scavengers stick together.

Some things are better left unsaid.
Some people are better left ignored.
Now this Bozo
Will know if he wants attention in the future
to just mention Kristen.

Lose/Lose.

A new pic from BD2.
Aren't they just... fucking lovely?
My god.

And yeah...
There will be a box set of the Twilight movies...

I've never understood why people (usually lunatics)
always screech for people to 'get over' Twilight.
Why?
Do you screech at Harry Potter fans?
If people are fans of the books and/or movies...
Why does it matter?

Rob and Kristen
have always been gracious and grateful
when talking about what Twilight has meant to them.
Rob doesn't hate Twilight.
I know some would love to believe that...
But I'm sure he has a lot of memories wrapped
up in those movies...
As does Kristen.
And both of them realize that Twilight was not only the
vehicle that brought them fame and fortune...
but also each other.

Love is long.

You see things your way...
and I see the TRUTH.

Good afternoon Roseland,

Finally a little time to come check in with everyone and catch up :)
Between work I've been helping take care of my Gran (87) who's bed ridden and suffering from Demensia.

Hope to come back this evening for the music convo.
Of coarse Ginger can probably guess my favorite teen concert : Bon Jovi ( Slippery When Wet tour ) Charleston WV.

Don't want to miss anyone so HELLO and Have A Great Day to EVERYONE

@ Ginger
I know what your going through, July 11 was the two year mark of us having to put our cat Daisy to sleep after she suffered a stroke that peralized her upper body. We got her as a stray when Zack started 1rst grade. Still miss her everyday.

Tbell said...

Ginger
wow...now thats a dog. I can see the rot shape in his face and of course the body mass. I concur about chasin cats lol. We also have a border collie and between the two terrorized our outdoor cats. Now that yorkies gone our collie sleeps with the kittens. It was the yorkie who instigated it all lol. Little dog...big heart :). Very sweet how u all said goodbye. Me and my daughter did the same. My husband and my youngest son took him way out in the pasture and my big muscled baseball playin boy came back with tears in his eyes. I cried most of the day. Sorry to relive that but wanted u to know how I understand.

marley said...

Ginger - hey soo nice to see you here but I am really sorry about you dog. I have been there and it's not easy when they are part of the family but Pist is right you will always have the memories.

Hello to everyone else here and hope your monday started out bright and happy.

Em said...

oh Ginger I'm so sorry i can't even imagine how ur family is feeling right now bc our dogs r like our babies just part of the family so sorry hope it gets better

Atticus said...

Hi ladies & gents!

@Ginger, so sorry to hear about your dog. He was a beaut! They are family, aren't they? I just love my Shooter so much.

Unknown said...

I am really trying to keep the faith because I do believe in love, but the air from my lungs was gone when I read one of those translated magazine articles for Dior indicating that Robert was a new path since his break up. Need some help here! I have been following for some time and feeling all kinds of sad!

Virginia Florey said...

Hi This is agreeing with Post 408 from Unknown about her reading one of the translated interviews Rob gave after the Dior movie reception. I had the feeling that Rob had changed dramatically and that he was heading in a new direction and underlying all three interviews was the feeling that he had outgrown Kristen. Cronenberg had made him an actor. Etc. I pulled all three interviews off the internet. It just didn't sound like Rob. One interviewer said that the "goofy, giggly Rob was gone." Who wants him gone? I reread the three translated interviews gain today and it just sounds like Rob is rushing down a new path for some reason. I even thought it mentioned that he no longer had his agent or was it manager? Did Nick Frenkel leave or Stephenie Ritz? I need my Rob and Kristen back.

Unknown said...

Ginger,

That was a mighty fine looking dog. And that says a lot coming from me as I am more of a cat person. So sorry for your loss. I know how attached we all get to our 4 legged friends.

Unknown said...

Just a look back - Rob & Kristen had an undeniable chemistry that is very rare and never captured on screen. They might be in different places at the moment but that light in their eyes is dim at the moment. May they find their way back to one another.I hope and pray that he is not getting scooped up and thrown in the whirlpool that is Hollywood. (it makes me scared for him.)

Unfortunately,I see that common sense is still not so common for some people in this fandom. *sigh* As always, dear Rose, you are a voice of reason. :))

In the past!!!!

Tbell said...

Hey vernistene

yeah im here just catching up on last 20 or so comments

Robert got me thinking about leon russell and I called my mom and mentioned him and we talked for an hour lol.

You have a calm day?

Vernier said...

Yeah very calm. Ready to talk concerts. They have startesd the concerts on the waterfront here and each year we get bigger and bigger names. I gotta check the list and let you guys know. It's free concerts and they are awesome. A lot of country but some rock is starting to come.

Vernier said...

I'm planning a new road trip. Got ants in my pants and I need to move... Name a great state for me to point my car toward. I have five weeks of vaca to burn by years end. Maybe I'll run up on a new Mr. Right in my travels.... lol lol

Tbell said...

Virginia
it could have been lost in translation but rob doesnt have a publicist? Never has, but I could be wrong. Those translated interviews are wierd to read arent they? He sounds like a robot answering those questions lol.

Tbell said...

Thats sounds fun. My boys got me into red dirt right now. Turnpike troubadours, brantly gilbert and theirs more we go to witchita falls tx to see them play. Its big in texas. Hey oklahoma may he hotter n hell but its a nice state lol. Point that car this way. I go to okc and tulsa all the time.

Vernier said...

I read them and the questions to Rob were not really answered about his personal life. he did say he doesn't have a publicist. The other mentions of his private life were speculation from the interviewers. From things either wrote from a "source" or heard from other rags and paps. I hope he hasn't changed so much he loses his life line. I think all is good in R/K land.

NO BUTS.......

Vernier said...

Gurl if you got some Cowboys out there I may just do that. I love a man who loves to ride..... a horse lol lol

Vernier said...

"Works for me. :0))))

Vernier said...

I will be full of questions ??????

Robert said...

pink floyd: saw them at the LSU assembly center in around '76 or so. They were unique in that their live show was an exact remake of the lp. which seems like it would be boring, but it wasn't. they played the animals lp note for note; then they took a short intermission and came back out an played wish you were here, note for note. then they left and came back for an encore which was dark side of the moon note for a note, really cool show

Vernier said...

That sounds awesome. I am tearing up and you just started. Lol I can just about picture it. I can sure hear the music.

Robert said...

led zeppelin

same venue and they were fantastic but what i remember most of all is that robert plant sang in low register voice instead of in falsetto. try to imagine led zeppellin without plant's falsetto. it was still really cool though they played dazed and confused, stairway, the ocean, the rain song. we found out just this last year that Baton Rouge was the last stop on their tour that year and his voice was shot by the time they reached BR

Robert said...

the who

this was all over the place. kieth moon had died and they had replaced him with the faces drummer kenny bundrick. so tha was a let down. but you have to see wont get fooled again, baba o'reilly and behind blue eyes live to believe it. it was really magical, and my friends will tell you that i don't use that word often.

Another great thing here was that Quadrophenia had been made into a movie, so they played a lot of songs from that lp.

it really was a classic

Vernier said...

"Good Times Bad times is used in the movie American Hustle with Bradley Cooper and Christian Bale

Robert said...

the rolling stones

some girls tour. they did a 15 minute version of "Miss You" where jagger did a rap kind of thing forever but it wasn't lame at all, in fact it was pretty cool. of course they played all of the old songs but you coudld tell they were tired of playing thme so t hey changed tjem up a bit. biut when "Sympathy for the devil" came around that pretty much did it for me.

the stones live really is all about jagger

Robert said...

verni

LZ played good times bad times that night. incredible song

and don't even get me started on john bonham

Robert said...

allman brothers

DK were you pulling my leg about them because they are one of my all time favorites. "live at Fillimore East" is probably the best live album in rock history.

Saw them towice in college and just a few years ago at the saenger in NO. greg has one of the best voices ever and Derek trucks is maybe the best guitarist on the planet right now

Robert said...

i already did queen so i'll skip to Bob.

seen him 3x the best was at astroworld, where tom petty and the heartbreakers were his band and as great as they were together no doubt about it when they left the stage and it was just bob and his harp and his acoustic, he did It aint me babe-to this day-still one of the greatest performances i have ever seen

Hi Kay, Katy, Pist, Ginger, Robert, Pattybg, LizzieD, Atticus, Tracybell, PamH, vernistene, Elizabeth, PL, DK, Rose, KK, Em, Super, Litmom, and the rest of Roselands! I just got home from work and errands. Did I miss anything?
PamH- Hi! How are you? We missed you.
Ginger- Sorry about your dog.
Robert- Sounds like you have fun.
As for rest of you on Roselands hope you had a great day.

Robert said...

only three more

i have been saving this one. to be perfectly honest i may have ranked them but these last three are really a 3 way tie for #1

zz top

when i was in the 8th grade they had a song on the radio called "Franciene" they came to town and played at a place called uncle pete's but we were too young to go so my friend and i rode our bikes to the place and listened to them in the parking lot

how cool is that?

Vernier said...

Robert I am sitting here smiling, sipping blue moon and picturing two cute little boys on bikes rocking out in the parking lot to ZZ TOP how cool is that!!!!! Way cool!!!!

Robert said...

bruce

is like having a religious experiencwe. he comes out and opens with born in the usa and everyone from the front row to the guy with his back against the opposite wall is losing it

he actually lets the audiencee take the entire first verse of hungry heart because everyone in the place knows it by heart

it took me a long time to figure it out but part of what makes him so good is that most of his songs are anthems and that is the best form of live song

Tbell said...

Way cool
zz top? My mom corrwcted me on leon it was at lady on brady. She and her boyfriend went to see him on his 70th at the brady. I spent an hour talking to her. She was born in 42 like him. Crazy woman lol. Ok...go....

Tbell said...

I was in love with bruce in high school. I wanted to he that girl who jumped on stage lol in dancing in the dark....oh the 80's

ok go...ha!

Tbell said...

I think tom Petty didnt get near enough love during my teenage years. MY sister's always had his music but my friends didnt listen to him. Only the chart topper every now and then. Would love to see him live in small venue

Vernier said...

I love me some Bruce. He is the MAN!!!! You are so right Robert his concerts rock. I watched one on DVD once. I always wanted to go and experience it live.

Vernier said...

T-Bell your mom sounds cooler than cool. My mom is oh so old fashioned. She says "Where did you come from with your rebel ways" lol "I said from a Rebel man and you Lady of love" lol she smiles and shuts up. lol lol

Tbell said...

Robert
I did not know tom p played with dylan. I have to say im not a huge dylan fan but them together I bet was classic. Did tom play dylans songs or vice versa? Would really like to seen dylan sing heart breaker music. Their voices are so complimentary.

Vernier said...

I was in my early twenties in the eighties I wanted to be that girl too. Don't laugh but my heart belongs to John Cougar Mellencamp. He will be in Nashville in October I will be there.

Robert said...

yeah and the other kid on the bike is a whole story in itself, but another tine

paul was the perfect concert. the ticket said the show started at 8pm and that is when it started exactly. 30 minutes earlier some things in white tablecloths were rolled out and at 8, they turned out to be cirque du soliel acrobats who did this act in the audience and as soon as they finished the lights went out and paul and his band were on the stage. he has the best band they can all sing and they are phgenomenal musicians.

what i really liked though was the song selection, he did all of his great wing songs and he also did most of the beatles songs that he had wriiten, like penny lane, we can work it out, back in the ussr, and then he did one of john's ticket to ride and one of george's something.

he was in his sixties and he hit that incredibly high note in maybe i'm amazed and when the show ended he said "i'll meet you in the french quarter"

Tbell said...

Ok my favorite concert was stray cats in 1983 at cains ballroom. If any body is familiar with tulsa music cains and lady on brady are nationally known. The bus boys opened up for them and let me tell you it was one rockin night. I never had so much fun at a concert. Loved that atyle of music since. Brian setzer is a genious.

saw brian adams, gogos and journey at loyd noble arena in norman. Journey was journey but brian adams stole the show. That man can rock. When he sang im gonna run to you, summer of 69, cuts like a knife you'd think he was opening act. I couldnt talk when it was over and cried my eyes out. Im gettin chills thinking about it. He needs to quit painting and get back to touring lol.

Pisteuo said...

Robert, your enthusiasm is so showing. I'm really enjoying hearing about your concert experiences...but, I've got to call it a night. Will get caught up tomorrow if time allows.

Night, Arleen...I'm not feeling well tonight so I'm retiring early I think.

But, ya never know about me....I could just pop in at any ole time...LOL!!!

Stay Happy, Happy, Happy Roseland! :)))

Vernier said...

Sir Paul, Sir Paul, Sir Paul the best ever. I have tears running from your description. I loved the Beatles, and I loved John Lennon alone and Sir Paul alone. I was a screaming nut. I cried for two days when John was killed. Sir Paul Sir Paul Sir freakin' Paul!!!!!!

Robert said...

zz top does this thing where dusty rhodes and billy gibbons will be at the mikes. and they will step back and then over to their right and then back up to the mikes again but they are in perfect synch with each other it is the coolest thing

Vernier said...

T-Bell you are so right. He needs to get back. I can see how you would have chills. Yes Yes Yes.

TP and his band opened for bob and remained on stage when he came out so they could be his band. tom sang some of bob's songs with him but not vice versa

Tbell said...

Robert
I remember you and dk talking about the wings concert. With three older sisters and a younger brother and sister and a mother and father who loved music we had all genres in the house and I remember listening to otis redding on records and rhinking I had the coolest dad. He could play along with the electric guitar and I know sittin on tue dock of the bay by heart at age 4...no shit lol. Gots lots of stories like that I bet you do to if u were riding ur bike to concerts. That was the life though we were free to ride our bikes or the bus anywhere.

Vernistene
still pissed about j5 and the osmonds. My dad thought I was too young to go to the tulsa civic center...I was 7 haha! I wanted to do whatever my sisters did. I was a handful.

Vernier said...

J5 live was the bomb. I grandpa worked at the arena so I and my best friend Rhea went. We got third row seats but back then you could surround stage. We thought we were doing it. We screamed at everything. I don't remember anything but screaming and then being introduced to them backstage and standing there looking really goofy. lol lol

Vernier said...

Robert yes I have to see Bruce. I will probably ball my eyes out and miss most of it but who cares. I can say I was there. lol lol

Tbell said...

Robert
back to pink floyd
they were always that mystical out there band when I was in high school. Did they just play and leave? Or interact at all? To me their music was like an experience. Is that how you felt?

Growing up my mom said I was born in the wrong generation and after listening to you I agree. I needed to born earlier.

gotta go guys fam is screaming for food. Ill chexk in later.

thank u Robert

Then no you did not see ABB when my biz partner played with them. His name is David "Rook" Goldlfies. They called him Rook for Rookie as he was only 19 when they asked him to,play in the Band. This was back when they did the albums Enlightened Rogues and brothers of the road and such. Yes this was when Cher was around Greg Allman. David says that is the number one question he gets asked about his ABB days....what was Cher like? LOL

@ Arleen
Thanks, I miss you all as well :)

@ vernistene
Seeing Bon Jovi was the high light of my teenage life. It was my very first concert and a gift from by big brother. They were with Cinderella (but I remember very little about them) watching Jon fly over the crowd and land on a platform a row right behind us and play Wanted Dead or Alive is forever burnt into my brain. He was my crush :)

@ Robert
You have been so fortunate to see so many wonderful band/people thanks for sharing those wonderful stories with us
The highlight for my husband was seeing Alice Cooper last year, someone he loved as a teenager and being able to take our teenage son who is a huge music lover.

The last 4 -5 years we've seen some really good concerts and I don't think I could pick just one so I'll just name some
1) Three Days Grace
2) Papa Roach
3) Avenged Sevenfold
4) Slipknot/Stone Sour - love both Cory Taylor bands

I do remember wishing when i was younger I could have seen Brian Adams and Richard Marx ( crushes as well ) and without a doubt I'd love to see Joan Jett

Glad to see Kristen had Suzie as her travel mate and HGB watching over both. I'm hoping her taking the guitar is a good sign of a visit by Rob later on :)

Virginia -- Sorry to see that you are still buying into the media and Rob's interviews have never translated as well as "seeing" an interview as he tends to use a lot of facial expressions.

Evening Ladies and Robert

Thanks everyone - Frank (that was his name) and yes he was a Frank is chasing kitties right now with new legs :))

Ok concerts - mine are all way newer bands although my brother almost got away with bringing me to see Dio way before it was ok - my dad caught on and ended that fast

Top 5 concerts

5.Tickle Me Pink/Flobots/Darling thieves (formerly I hate Kate until Kate sued)Chevelle/Smashing Pumpkins - Chevelle is another band that is way better live then on track also the guys are super sweet and way down to earth, The Flotbots are always great entertainment and we got to hang with them while watching the local bands play, Smashing Pumpkins while not my fav band Billy Corgan can play the shit out of a guitar and brings the show home. Tickle me Pink sang killing in the name of and everyone sang with it.

4.Kings of Leon - it poured through the entire concert and the opening band was horrible - they got on played a 2 hour set for us in the rain (they got fined for it too because the noise ordinance and they went over the time allowed for the venue) while lighting was going off like crazy

3. Prodigy/Linkin Park - Prodigy stole the show. Keith Flint had his hair in devil horns with red back lighting - jumped to the music until I couldn't feel my feet anymore

2. Static X/Staind/Linkin Park/Stone Temple Pilots - for all his issues Scott Weiland is absolutely amazing live - when you are better live then on record you have it. Static X had my ears ringing, Staind my soul singing and we got to meet the guys from Linkin Park

1. Tom Morello and the Nightwatchman Incubus - 1. it is Incubus and I love love everything but their new album, 2. it was at Red Rocks, 3. Not only did Morello play with Rage but I got to watch him play his guitar with his teeth

My band choice that I would love to see but wont get too - Rage Against the Machine

Oh man, you guys are discussing music, my fave pastime.

Best concert, hands down, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Joe Cocker on the same bill. Huge, huge SRV fan!

Bruce Springsteen played for 3 hours with an intermission. What a showman. Class act!

Jethro Tull, Ian Anderson is just so magnetic. Couldn't take my eyes off him all night.

Jeff Beck, was a smaller venue and he and the audience were in sync.

Excellent concert stories and fun times you all had. I was sleeping most of today for like Pist something's awry and I'm off. Maybe it is the mosquito bites I got on Saturday which itch like the dickens. In any case, I'll be better soon. (Hope you are also Pist, and everyone be well.)

For the record, as I've said before; I am just a pretend disc jockey around this place. I have seen only two concerts in my life, John Denver and The Grateful Dead. All of my eclectic song choices come from lifelong listening to music, adding new bands as I hear about them. Being older works for me. :)

@Robert
You are quite a skilled storyteller! Loved all of them.

@Ginger
Troll link was right on and funny.

@Verni & TBell
Was fun reading your experiences.

See ya. Sure would like to be ya!

Loved the concert memories.
Robert, you are the music man.
My favorite was Bruce. Born In The USA in Denver. Same experience Atticus,he rocked for 3 hours. People left there just smiling at each other. I think tickets were around $15.00. I remember at the time, Thriller had come out and tickets were #30.00. People thought that was so much money.lol
Other favorites: Clapton(in the nosebleed section), Fleetwood Mac, Rolling Stones(again in the nosebleed section) Rickie Lee Jones, Linda Ronstadt, Nancy Griffith,John Hiatt and Jonny Lang(seeing him again in 2 weeks). I don't remember the details as well as some of you. Getting old, lol.
DK and Pist,
Hope you are both feeling better!
Ginger,
So sorry about your baby. He was a beautiful boy. Even though it may be time, it is still one of the most difficult things.

Have a great day, Roseland!!

Good Morning ROSELAND

ROBERT and COMPANY

I was working last night and missed the fine recollections of concerts past

PAM

Most of the concerts I saw was as a teen or in college between '71-78. At that time Three Dog Night was very popular. We saw them twice in Columbia SC and then again in Greenville SC many years later...like around the 90's. The early 70's was a great time in music and Three Dog Night was exactly the right feel with songs like Mama Told Me Not To Come...still feeling the drug culture and Woodstock...

Alice Cooper was very busy on the circuits at that time as well. We saw them at least three times snakes and all...for a teen that kind of stuff was very exciting and of course many future bands copied that style of entertainment such as KISS and Twisted Sister.

The Eagles came when I was in college what I remember most about that is that everybody was smoking pot inside the coliseum...except me of course !!!! We saw Edgar Winter back in those days and Grand Funk Railroad as well.

Groups we saw in the 90's...We have seen the Beach Boys...it was good but there was no excitement...you could tell they were totally bored with it...we saw the Doobie Brothers...they were very energetic and put on a great show. I saw James Taylor and he was wonderful...very engaging...you could tell he loved what he was doing...Crosby, Stills and Nash...that kinda sucked because Crosby got mad at some hecklers so it was a bummer..We saw Dennis DeYoung formerly with STIX in Charleston SC...my husband was doing something technical work for him and he thanked my husband at the end of the concert...that was kinda neat..

We saw Paul McCartney , I mentioned this several weeks ago. Linda was playing with them and it was beyond fabulous and a dream come true for me to see at least one Beatle "live".

Last year we saw Joe Bonamassa and we came early so we could get pics made with him, For any that may not know of him he is one of the greatest guitar players that ever lived...he was amazing....

I am a huge fan of Yanni...We have been to 4 of his concerts and we met him and had pictures with him because he came to the ETV studios where my husband worked for the annual fund raiser.

Have a great Tuesday ALL

Loving the music/band talk. One of these days when I have more time I'll join in.

Take care, all!

Good Tuesday Morning! Hi Ginger, Stella, PamH, Pist, Kay, Katy, Birdie, Barb, Robert, Pattybg, LizzieD, Atticus, Tracybell, vernistene, Elizabeth, PL, DK, Rose, KK, Em, Super, Litmom, and the rest of Roselands! I am just up because I had to wake up my 16 year old daughter at 6am for school. Its her first day of school. I am happy for her as a junior.
Tracybell- I love both of your comments.
Litmom- Thanks! For the recipes. I was telling on Robsten's twitter because they were cooking brussel sprout to try use broth or bullion. It gives a good flavor. I do that with all my vegetables.
Super- Great comments. I love all of them. I love all kinds of music that I grew up with. I have been two concerts. One when I was thirteen I saw The Jets. About 3 years ago went to see Lisa Lisa, Shannon, The Cover Girls, Debbie Deb, Expose, and Stacy Q. That is why they called it Freestyle Explosion. They are my favorites.
Birdie- Hi and Hugs. Love your comments. I have listen to them.
As for the rest of you hope you have a great day. I love our couple keep them busy. I better do my duties. Keep me posted.

I got one thing to say. What is the world coming to? Some of the actors dies of suicide and drug overdose. Now this actor die. Lee Thompson Young from Disney show or something. Rest in peace.

im out and about at walmart but saw ur post and had to respond.

I graduated in 1983. I vaguely remember lisa lisa. They became more popular in the later 80's I think. My younger sister graduated in 1990 and all those bands you mentioned I remember my sister liking. I was married by then and birthing babies and breast feeding and most of my 90's was spent listening to Baby Einstein lol. I remember being up late at night watxhing mtv and watxhing videos of those groups. Yes freestyle explosion explains it perfectly. That was a fun time in music.

Vernistene & robert
another story...
Were yall ever a creed fan? My sister went to high school with the original drummer, I think, from creed back when they were playing in Florida? He was later replaced but anyway I never knew this until later. When my kids got bigger and I was done with class parties and little League I discovered creed through my teenage son who was playing them on his guitar. I was all excited thought I discovered some unknown group and my sister was like where you been? Ha! Yeah I had a lot of catxhing up to do lol...grunge rock! Ok no more long boring music posts I promise.

Anonymous said...

Tracybell- I am about to step out too. Lisa Lisa has been my favorite. I like creed too. Have a great day.

I'm at work but had to sneak in and say this:
This was the best fun we've had here in a long time. this is what it's all about. Great fun, fond memories, good people having good conversation and lifting each other up. Day to day is always a hassle. This is our escape.
Good on everyone!!! Keep lifting up R and K and each other.
Much Love and have a great day!!!!
<3

T-Bell Chat at ya later.......

Thanks guys....I'm feeling better. I think it was something I ate.

Vern, the visual of you and your family partying last night was hysterical. Ever thought about a reality show?

The only party my family would be having with me on a R and K blog would be an intervention party. LOL!!

Unknown said...

Wow. I don't know what to make of this. Rob's latest Dior interviews are not very encouraging when it comes to his relationship with Kristen.

I'm guessing most of you have read the latest one in Interview Magazine Germany(?)

Interviewer: People say you have only hired a press agent since your break-up with Kristen Stewart because you didn't see a sense in paying someone to do that before then.

Robert: I'm cheap. And I still have no press agent. Why should I?

______________

Maybe I'm Chicken Little, but these words can't be the result of a poor translation. And this is not a tabloid! It's a one-on-one with Rob. He doesn't correct the interviewer about the break-up reference at all.

I'm not sure what to make of this.

Em said...

Hi Pist I must have missed u being sick but I'm glad ur better :) oh boy LOL i was gonna say something about ur comment but yea hahaha I better go n do something before I talk too much n get in trouble lol but stay happy happy happy

Pisteuo said...

Lisa J, why should he? It was obviously a "trick" question. They have never answered questions peraining to their relationship ...why now?

Sounds like you worry too much or you believe they aren't together and you want everyone else to think so. I say...it's okay...just believe what makes you happy and don't worry about it.
People are still going to believe what they want to anyway.

Pisteuo said...

Hi Em! haha...why it's true...my family just wouldn't get it. They would have me locked away and throw away the key. :)))

Have a great day and stay safe! Hugs!!

Em said...

Pist hahaha I know :) guess all parties can't be reality show material LOL okay I'm stopping now :) shouldnt even be online bc I'm running late lol i hate watches but I should really buy one hahaha bye

I know that what I think doesnt matter to anyone but my self but if you ask me about Rob's latest interviews I think he is doing what he has always done which is to talk work or projects not personal. Which he has said many times before. I believe that R and K are enjoying their lives and doing what they enjoy what ever that may be , with who ever they see fit. I'm so excited to see both of their movies. I belive they are just fine and happy with those freakin cute pups of theirs.

Ok I'm done now. Hope everyone has a great rest of your day!

Holy mother of...

just got thru watxhing dave grohl jam with rick Springfield singing Jeasies girl on ellen. I think a rerun about sound city players but it dont matta....dave freakin grohl and rick freakin Springfield. ..

anyone see them in concert?

Lisa
if you noticed when interviewer kept on with the personal questions rob bluntly ended the interview. You make no sense at all.

and I dont know if its translation but he said our at one point and talked about making out with kristen all day in brazil filming. Dont think he would have mentioned that if they were broken up. Jmo. And It is also my opinion that kristen is part of that "family" he mentioned. Not saying they are married but I think he considers her "family"

Tbell said...

And lisa
it was evident from the gitgo based on the questions the interviewer didnt a) do his homework, b) did his homework at hollywood lies or c) was baiting him. Either way robs not stupid and saw right thru it and look at his last answer...he was done with him and dismissed him.

Believe wat u want it don matta to me...:)

Hey vernistene
leaving to watch my daughter pitch in a game out of town. Shes a sophomore and facing 3rd ranked team in state. Say a little prayer for her lol. Wont be around unless theres downtime during game so prob later tonight maybe.

oh and I meant RS or Foo Fighters above on ?
