If a Picture Paints a Thousand Words...

"Then why can't I paint you?"

Pictures.

Are they worth a 1000 words?
Sometimes.

But you know how it goes in this fandom...
PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.
And even when it DOES happen
There can be 1000 different interpretations
of that one second in time...
(See what I did there?)

One Picture.
Did we get a thousand words?

You can bet your sweet ass we did.

A source close to the Presley family said:
“The relationship is very new but they've got close quickly
and are hanging out together a lot, enjoying each other's company."

And a source said today that although it was early days,
the couple had spent much of the last week together,
 adding: 'They're inseparable.
Rob loves the fact that Riley is Elvis's granddaughter
 - that's true Rock'n'Roll royalty in his eyes.'

“This relationship has all the tools and is built to last,
because they really get each other.
It’s so new and they have just started entering the honeymoon phase,
so it’s only a matter of time before you’ll see them out again,
no matter how much they’d like to hide it,”
 a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.

All those words from ONE picture
(and there were a lot more words... believe me)
A picture that turns out wasn't even Riley!
How fucked up is that??

Does any of this sound familiar?
Doesn't it ALL sound familiar?

Besides the fact that it was ALL LIES?
Every word.

And once that lie ran its course...
(With the help of Lisa Marie Presley, no less)

We get this.
ONE picture.

A simple picture of some people sitting in a bar...
Talking. Drinking.
Nothing remotely intimate about it at all.

1000 words?
And then some...

“They've been dating a month or two. He’s crazy about her,”
a source close to Rob told PEOPLE magazine in late September.

Us Weekly reported the two were “canoodling”
on a Sept. 25 date at Chateau Marmont nightclub in Hollywood.
“He was affectionate with her and they seemed comfortable,”
the source told the magazine.

Robert Pattinson was spotted out on the town with rumored
gal pal Dylan Penn Wednesday evening in Los Angeles.
The two were both at a private party for the launch
of Angie Banicki's new book 30 Before 30 at the Spare Room
inside of the Roosevelt Hotel.
And while the evening outing wasn't exactly a date night,
the two were definitely together and hanging out in the same small clique.
A source tells E! News that R.Pattz and Penn left around the same time
after mingling with guests by the bar area and the back room.

"They were chatty and flirty in the beginning,
but by the end of the night he was in the corner
with a friend and she was talking to Michael B Jordan.
Rob was being social. Girls were chatting him up.
He and Dylan were very kind and chatty but definitely
made a point to keep things a bit separated."

The "Twilight" star and Dylan Penn
do not refer to each other as "boyfriend and girlfriend,"
but " it is a romance," a source told E! News.
According to the insider,
the two "appear to be well suited for each other."

Truly.
Do they just regurgitate the same tired bullshit
and just change the name of the girl?
Why yes.
Yes they do.
I'm guessing there is a template somewhere
with the words
Crazy about her. Inseparable.
well suited. canoodling.
romance. affectionate.
hanging out a lot.

Erase Riley...
Add Dylan.

NEXT!

2 pictures = 2 wonderful romances!

And of course...
We can't forget this picture.
(OK, there was more than one... but lets focus.)
Kristen was seen leaving Rob's gated neighborhood
after being there for hours.
(Yes... it really IS Rob.)

An eyewitness tells Us Weekly that Stewart was spotted pulling
into Pattinson's gated community in L.A. Wednesday afternoon.
After about a three-hour visit, Stewart left the property
in her pickup truck and Pattinson followed behind her in his jeep.

A source close to the British stud says that Robsten simply "caught up"
with each other and that the entire situation was "very platonic."
In fact, the two merely met up to discuss their two pet pooches
that they share, Bear and  Bernie.
"Rob is single. He doesn't want to date anybody right now,"
that source told us. "Not Kristen, not anyone. He is really enjoying his life.
I honestly believe they will not get back together.
There is always a small chance something happens, but I highly doubt it."

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart  got together for
four hours on Oct. 30,
but it clearly wasn’t just to let her see the dogs.
Because just three days later, a source close to
Rob and Kristen told HollywoodLife.com exclusively
that the former couple met up again to enjoy Dia de los Muertos —
a Mexican holiday that is widely celebrated in Los Angeles — together.

Well.
You get the point... Right?

E!, PEOPLE (and every other fickle Rag out there)
contradicts themselves at every turn.
(Maybe because their 'sources' are shit)
Rob and Dylan are in a 'romance'
BUT Rob is single and doesn't want to date.
OK. Gotcha.

Sure.

ONE PICTURE.
That's all it takes.
And most of the time...
It doesn't even take a picture.
Just the usual 'insider' sources
and some well placed twitter sightings.

Rob is shown in ONE picture with Dylan
and it is the romance of the year!

Rob and Kristen spend hours together
alone in Rob's home
And its 'very platonic'.

Sorry.
But sitting next to someone at a bar
is pretty platonic to me.
Spending hours in someones home...
Not so much.

But hey...
That's just me.
And "MY" interpretation.

This post is brought to you by Sorry.

SorryNotSorry that no matter where this story goes...
Rob will always be in Kristen's life.
They will always love each other.
No matter what haters do or say...
that will NEVER change.

Sorry that the Ninnies and BitterBerts had to reset their
"But it's been 5 months since we had a picture
of them together... so let it go" clock.

Bummer.

Sorry that people immediately start trashing
Dylan or any other female in Rob's zipcode.
As far as I know...
Dylan hasn't done anything to warrant hatred.
And Rob is allowed to have friends
of the opposite sex.
People always focus on the most insignificant things...

Sorry that people can't just be a 'true' fan
of either Rob or Kristen
and actually focus on who they like...
and stop hating on the other person.

Sorry for the fickle Ninnies who immediately idolize
any girl Rob is remotely connected to.
(As long as its NOT Kristen)
It's kinda creepy how quickly they start
obsessing over these girls...
How long were they on the Camille train
before Dylan came along?

Sorry that people actually believe that there
is some sort of competition
between Rob and Kristen.
Give me a break.
One isn't out to sabotage or hurt the other.
That is so beyond ridiculous.
They have always supported each other.
Always.

Sorry that I haven't seen more
of this face recently...

Yeah.
I miss him.

Sorry that I miss these two people...

Sooner or later.
Love is gonna getcha...
Sooner or later
Love is gonna win.

Until next time.

Bye for now

Love is Long

I've been lurking for months now, first time commenting. Enjoy the posts. However, the bickering here is not attractive. There are 4 or 5 regulars who can get vicious even toward one of their own. And it saddens me. I want to visit happy places. I will be moving on. Best to all.

Kay said...

Maybe we all just need spankings and to be sent to bed without supper. Seriously? Is there anyone else lurking out there that feels they're justified in getting a few swipes in?!? LOL! <----- psst.....this is in code. ;)

Anonymous said...

Hi everyone! I just got home from dropping off a full bags of egg carts to the food banks where I live. They need it. It feels great to donate stuff. Did I miss anything while I was out?

Decided to delete my last comment...due to sensitive subject matter.

But, I will say this...we probably do need umbrellas from all this boo-hooing.

And I find it interesting that people use their first comment to take a swipe at the regulars on a blog. Hmmmm...

Kay said...

I think we need Wellies, if nothing else Pist....

Happy Tuesday Rose and Roseland! ❤️.

stacy said...

Perfect Kay. LOL, oops I mean...

Pisteuo said...

Kami, you clever little devil you! LOL!! <3

Hugs Kay, Olivia and Em!

Hi Arleen and lurkers!

Pisteuo said...

Stacy, it was the spankings...wasn't it? You know what I mean. LOL!!

Kay...wellies for sure! LOL!!

stacy said...

Without a doubt, Pist. :) Ali does have those cute, pink Wellies. Maybe we should all get some.

Since I'm commenting here, thought I'd actually leave a positive comment about Rob and Kristen...I'm excited to see the movies they've both completed. What do you guys think the chances are that The Rover and/or Camp X-Ray will show at Sundance? The movies should be announced in the next couple of weeks. My fingers are crossed. Maybe we'll even get a Rover trailer out of it! Hey, a girl can dream, right? LOL

Kami said...

Pistol I am a little devil, can't help it, I take after my grandmother.

I hope everyone has a pleasant and wonderful day. To all the new people welcome and LOL

ali mac said...

Who knew my pink wellies would come in so useful ;)))

Kay, I'll take the spanking, but the no supper bit, that's just too much!!

Rose said...

Why do people feel the need to come out of 'lurking' just to tell me they are moving on?
How can you miss something that you never even knew was there?
People really need to lighten up.
Like... REALLY.

It's a blog...not serious business.
You can't let every word GET to you like this.
Good Grief.

It will be OK.
Promise.

Pisteuo said...

I got that Kami...tee-hee!!

Haha!! I knew it!! Why Ali, you naughty little thing you! LOL!!

Aren't we just a cute bunch with our flowered helments, umbrellas and pink wellies?

Stacy, I'm very hopeful for Sundance and so excited over all the movies and can't wait for those trailers!

Pisteuo said...

Not to worry Rose...they'll be back...deja vu!

Birdie said...

Holy Shit!Vicious? Those be some strong words! I truly think some of you on the sidelines might be missing the point and I don't think any of the "regulars" were vicious. Why I think there was even an attempt to be conciliatory. Now this has become down right ridiculous.
Do you girls have any extra umbrellas and wellies?
Sorry for the drama, Rose.
Much ado about nothing.

Pisteuo said...

Birdie...umbrellas, helments and wellies for the rega, are highly advisable before entering. LOL!!

Birdie said...

Haha! Taking cover!

Kami said...

Rose well said. You know me, I would love to say a lot more, things like not letting the door hit the person on the way out..etc..but I am going to put on my pretty flowered helmet, wellies and grab an umbrella and remain relatively quiet...for me anyway. LOL (code)

stacy said...

Pist, My fingers are definitely crossed for Sundance. I used to have a client up in Salt Lake in my former work life, and Park City in January is a great experience. I've vowed to visit there again during off-season so I can spend more time just checking out that town. What a cool place.

For the Rover, I am most interested to see dirty Rob. I love that he's not a romantic lead in this movie. People will be forced to actually think about the storyline of the film instead of his chemistry with a leading lady.

For Camp X-Ray, I am excited to see Kristen in a female lead role that calls for a strong woman, and I love the concept of this film. I don't know if there were any women at Guantanamo. There are so many ways they can go with this.

Wow 200+ comments. I'm surprised.

@DreamerKind
I totally agree with you. Sometimes fans can end up hurting Rob and/or Kristen even if they don't mean to. A few years ago, fans used to tweet their location all the time. Paparazzi would follow that lead and harass them. Lesson learned.

I don't get the drama. I don't think there was any type of bullying. People can disagree. This blog would be very boring if everyone shared the same view on every subject.

That's just my opinion. Feel free to disagree. I'm not easily offended!

Kami said...

Rose said...

No no... Kami... My "ouch" wasn't in response to your comment.

The "Wow 200+ comments" kinda made me think...
I guess there's not much to say right now...
But it's sad that people feel the need to 'leave' this blog... and go elsewhere...
For whatever reason.

Pisteuo said...

Sorry Rose. I think it's lack of understasnding and taking things way to serious. And I admit my guilt in it all. I sometimes get all emo and voice my opinion with using the F bomb and people get offended. So, I will admit and apologize for my part...but, I never wanted people to leave. Although, I feel that was on them...their decision.
I know I had to back off myself there for a while cause I realized my part in the papparazzi frenzy. Just by discussing them...it was feeding the frenzy.
Although I don't discuss their private life...I was defending their right to one. Abd that right there is where a lot of the differing of opinions come from. And my colorful language doesn't seem to help. I do try...and yes I know this is a blog and it's really not that serious...but hey...I'm only fucking human.

And I abso-fucking-lutely adore you. And I hope you don't turn me into internet dust...but, if you do....I'll undrstand.

Kami said...

Rose, whew ok I feel better. As for people 'leaving' the blog, I'm sorry too for whatever part I played in hurting someone's feelings or causing someone to get their 'knickers' in a twist. I like coming here to read your take on things because you don't engage in silly gossip and anything you say that is 'gossip' related is said tongue and cheek and takes swipes at people who are....for the lack of a better word...idiots for spreading idiotic rumors. I'm sorry that more people don't 'get' what you're trying to say.

I try to be a lot less reactionary these days, somtimes though I can't keep my shut or my hands still, and of course if someone attacks, berates or insults a friend, well you know me..I see red, my head explodes and claws come out.

So again, to anyone I might have offended, and especially to Rose, I apologize. I am honest enough though to say that while how I said something might have offended some, I do not apologize for saying what I feel. Rose has always given us a place to do that safely as long as we show respect to Rob, Kristen, Tom, and her while we do it.

Kami said...

Uh that should have been 'shut my mouth'

Pisteuo said...

Oh...and as far as people leaving and going elsewhere...well, they already were elsewhere...everywhere actually. LOL!!

Anonymous said...

Pist- I am not going anywhere. I am staying.

stacy said...

Ladies, I think is a large contingent that have realized that their constant need for details was contributing to the paparazzi issue, and they have taken a step back in an effort to give Rob and Kristen some peace and semblance of a private life. If you look across the board at all blogs and Twitter, the number of R/K comments has been trending down for quite a while. There are spikes of activity, of course, but I do think overall it continues to trend to a more healthy and sustainable level. I like to think that this is a good sign, and that people are finally starting to realize their own contribution to the frenzy that Rob and Kristen have had to live through for several years.

Pist, Some (meaning me) may even say that you are doing good in helping people understand that they have a right to a private life. Just like with being a parent sometimes, kids may not like the lesson that you need to teach them and sometimes (often) they will fight against it, but one day they do actually get it and understand that you were trying to teach them something. And, just like kids, they rant and stomp their feet and run away, but do they really ever get that far?

Anyway, that's my two cents...

Rose said...

Pist.. Why would I turn you into dust? And is that even possible? And believe me... 'Colorful' language doesn't offend me at all (obviously since I'm rather fond of throwing in a 'fuck' every now and then... Haha)
Personally, I enjoy different opinions and I think debate can be a good thing...
I really do think the fandom is in a sort of limbo at the moment... Kinda waiting to see what happens next.

Pisteuo said...

I duuno Rose, don't ya ever just wanna ZAP someone? I would, if I was a blog owner. LOL!!

Pisteuo said...

I'm always waiting to see what's goona happen next in my own life! LOL!!

ROSE

I agree that if people are sensitive to the F bomb they certainly see plenty of it in the main post so it's interesting the level of perceived insult ... Of course now I confess that when its thrown in my direction I don't like it either !!!!

So having said that I do understand the comments however I would appreciate the poster that indicates we eat our own to explain exactly what she/ he is referring to

Oh well .. Gotta get going ... Happy Days Everybody :))))

Dear Rose
Surprised when I read that someone doesn't read all of the posts. Reading them is a break in my writing and I find people so interesting. Love your post, your sense of fairness and the fact that you love Rob and Kristen unreservedly. In an interview when he first started Twilight he said he found a fearsomeness in Kristen that attracted him to her. Then he said, "No, wait. There isn't such a word. I mean fearlessness." I have alwaysthought "fearsomeness" was a great new word. I think the adjective fearsomeness" can be applied to your blog in the nicest possible way.

Super: You and I must have the same requirements for a recipe... "Requires minimal culinary talent!" haha

We'll have to see if Kami will repost the fudge one, sounds delish...

Hope this holiday time finds you and your lovely family happy and healthy!

Kenzz here's the recipe, I got this from my mother in law so I can't take credit for it. I've yet to make it, but Super says she did and it was great.

Enjoy

Pistachio Fudge

Ingredients:
1 pound white baking chocolate
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
3 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon Pure almond extract
1/8 teaspoon green food color
1/2 cup chopped pistachios
Additional pistachios for garnish, if desired

How to make it:
Line an 8-inch square pan with foil, allowing foil to extend over sides of pan.
Spray with no stick cooking spray.
Melt chocolate as directed on package.
Beat cream cheese in large bowl with electric mixer until smooth. Gradually beat in sugar on low speed until well blended.
Add melted chocolate, extracts and food color; mix well.
Stir in chopped pistachios.
Spread evenly in prepared pan.
Garnish with additional pistachios, if desired.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until firm.
Use foil to lift out of pan onto cutting board.
Cut into 25 (1 1/2-inch) squares.
Store in refrigerator.
Substitute: One bag (12 ounces) white chocolate chips can be substituted for the white chocolate squares

Have to say I think I've gained about two pounds with the thought of eating all the goodies at this time of year.

Have a great weekend Roseland :)

Kami, thanks sweetie! Looks tasty and different...is it green in color? What a cool XMas treat to offer, I'm thinking you could press into a couple of Craisins (dried cranberries) at the top along with the pistachios, and it would look like holly :)

@Kami
That recipe sounds delicious! I wish I could cook.

I'd like to share with everyone this amazing video of Ward Miles - Premature through his first year.
The holidays are just around the corner and this little guy is miracle.

This sounds so good even though I don't like pumpkin. On Facebook from Mary Asbury:

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bread

2 cups canned pumpkin
3 eggs
1 egg whites
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Cream Cheese filling
8 oz reduced fat cream cheese (room temperature or softened slightly)
4 tbsp sugar
1 egg
2 tsp flour
1 tsp vanilla

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350
Prepare one mini loaf pan (it should hold 8 loaves) or 2 9x5 loaf pans with nonstick spray

Bread Layers
In the bowl of your stand mixer or hand mixer combine pumpkin, eggs and egg white until smooth
In a separate medium bowl whisk together flour, sugars, baking soda & pumpkin pie spice

Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet mixing until just smooth, set aside

Cream Cheese Layer
In another bowl either for your stand mixer or hand mixer combine all ingredients until smooth

Bread Assembly
Pour or spoon half of the pumpkin bread mixture into the bottom of the mini loaf pan or the large loaf pan

Evenly divide the cream cheese mixture over the pumpkin bread mixture and smooth out using the back of a spoon

Pour the remaining pumpkin bread mixture over the cream cheese mixture, covering as much as you can

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean

Let cool for about 10-15 minutes and then remove from the pans

Each mini loaf is 9 WW+ points, so divide as needed based on how many slices you get from the loaf

hello ladies,

i'm sorry that I have not been around more but we sort of reached critical mass in the semester and when that happens I have to go behind the sun as my friends like to say.
but we are off for the entire week so I have some time.
anyway...the band kind of broke up, well I should say we aren't going to be playing live for a while. the bass players wife is having a baby and the guitarist wants to be a chicken farmer and no I am not joking
we do have a new guitar player and we are going to be in the studio recording some new stuff so I will keep anyone who is interested up to date on that
so the other day my mom and I are watching tv and she says "when is your cousin getting married?" "not until march," I say, to which mom replies...
"girls should not marry men who are not as smart as they are, it's difficult to be in a marriage when the girl is smarter than the guy"

wait foe it

"don't you think that's what happened in your marriage?"

isn't she adorable. couldn't you just shove down a flight of stairs?

Robert said...

wait FOR it
and
shove HER down a flight of stairs

jeez

With all those sweets I thought I would throw out something traditional. These are the best cranberries.

1 bag(12 oz) fresh or frozen cranberries
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/3 c water
1/3 c orange juice
2 tsps grated orange rind(fine)
1/8 tsp cinnamon
Combine all ingredients in pan and cook over med. heat(slow boil),stirring occasionally until cranberries begin to pop.About 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. They thicken as they cool. Serve chilled or at room temp. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
I have cut out the white sugar and use 1/4 tsp for a little tarter flavor and less calories.

Have a nice night all!
