There cannot be anything more delicious than bacon fried in a low temp pan.
It is like tempting one, on some level, to forget about anything, but smells that draw us into them. For sure, penis by any other name, cannot compare.
Did you figure it out? That's is where I am, since I have fried pork sausages and bacon, and the smoke alarms have not howled back yet. They appreciate good smells, too.

Good Evening Roseland...I see I missed an informative tutorial by PL last night! I will have to go back and make sure I take notes...you never know when You might need to insert an "alternate" name for that well known male ego anatomical landmark!
Hubby got home and we have spent much time this afternoon and evening looking at video and pictures of the last shuttle launch.
We went to dinner at our only 4 star area restaurant called the Hamptons...we had tomato bisque and beef tenderloin with shitake mushrooms in a wine reduction sauce..yum... and I enjoyed some Tangeuray Gin and tonic and then a dessert wine to finish off the meal....delish...
We sat the baby on the bathroom scale today...15 pounds of trouble! haha
Rose, I am home and so happy to read your blog. I have had a smile on my face since I saw the pic of Kristen with Dean. I knew all along she was on her way to Rob. It is wonderful to see both of them so happy...it just proves how much they love each other. Have a wonderful weekend Roselanders. Let us all keep smiling.

Freddie, I think today it only got up to 98. This coming week it will be 98 to 101 each day. It is summer and summer is just hot down here. There are usually several weeks each year where the temps get this high, but this summer it started much earlier and I am afraid it will continue into August and September with very few breaks. The worst part this spring and summer has been the lack of rain.

IB - I want to paint the baseboards, but the problem of course, is that they run from one room to the next, so I need enough time to at least get the first floor done.
The news on Tomas is generally positive at the moment. It 's been an expensive month though. About three weeks ago, I panicked late one night. I thought he was dying, so I whipped him off to the emergency clinic at 1:00 in the morning, where they did X-rays, and found some small spots on his lungs. So that lead to an ultrasound, which luckily showed nothing (no tumor). We also did the next round of blood/urine tests and his kidney disease hasn't gotten any worse - so we'll keep treating with diet
So never dull when it comes to pets....

IB - I wish I could help. I know you can buy stain to apply to wood, so I'm assuming that that is what you would need. If they have varnish over them, they may need to be sanded down first. I would suggest asking the attendant at Home Depot or Lowe's (or your home renovation centre of choice) and if you have a sample, I would take that to make sure you get the right colour of stain.
Take the above from someone with very limited knowledge this kind of thing.

Freddie, oh my, what a scare for you with your dear Tomas. They are like our children and it is always so painful when they are hurting and cannot vocalize to us what is wrong. Glad to hear that he is holding his own and the news is positive. Pet care has gotten to be quite expensive, so much so that I know people who have purchased medical pet insurance to help with the vet fees. The Vet School connected to our local university here is wonderful and offers reduced fees for care. People come from all over Tx. to have both large and small animals examined and cared for.
