Rob and Kristen-- Love is All Around Us

Rob? Is that you?

How long has it been since we've seen Robert?
I honestly couldn't tell you.
I know he's supposedly been "seen"
here, there and everywhere...
But when was the last time we actually saw him?

Thus we are in another drought.
Oh hell...
He could go away for a weekend and people
are parched for a sighting...
But I have a feeling this time...
This time we might be thirsty and delirious for a while.
See...
That's the deal with droughts...
People hallucinate.
It's kinda amusing, too...
Last weekend Rob was supposedly in London...
No.. there weren't pics or anything of that sort.
Someone saw him at an 'after after' party with Kristen.
A few days later
Kristen is on a plane back to LA.
WELL!

So how does this work exactly now?
Hmmm.

Hater Fringe denied Rob was in London at all...
But NOW that Kristen is back in LA
Well... lo and behold
He WAS in London and remains there!
(but let us not forget he was snuggling with Kristen)

I love how everyone seems to know their plans for the holidays
Like they pinned up their itinerary on the
fandom bulletin board for ALL to see!

Please.

Is that an IN-N-OUT wrapper?

And where IS Robert Pattinson?

Bwa.Ha.Ha.Ha.Ha.

I love it.
I truly do.
All this twitching over where he is
and where he will be.
(and of course who he will be with)

My thoughts?

1. Where is Robert?
With Kristen.

 2. Where will he go?
Probably here... then there.

3. Who will he be with?
IOW3 New Year?
Come on now...
Haven't you been paying attention?
What did Kristen say in that interview?

"I spent my last two New Years here (in London)...
They were fucking incredible"

Who do you think he will be with?
Kristen.
Always Kristen.

Sure...
They might have to switch it up a bit
since so many people know what they do and where they go
but I bet they will figure something out.

It's actually quite amazing how much Rob and Kristen
see each other that is never known about
until months later when 'private' pics are leaked
(think of all the times we don't see pics!!)
and we see them together at weddings...
or christenings...
or just spending the holidays with the family
All those times they get in and out
without nary anyone being the wiser.
Kinda puts the kibosh on the whole
"they never spend time together" bullshit.
Because they do.
We just don't see it.
And that's the way is should be.

Christmas is Nothing without YOU.

So yeah.
It's just my ever so humble opinion
that not only are Robert and Kristen together right now...
But they will remain so throughout the holidays.
Just a thought.
Heh.

Home is where the Heart is...

You know how it goes...
When you are in a serious relationship
You start making your own traditions
about where and how you spend the holidays.
You may have to find time to be with each of your families
But you always do it
TOGETHER.

Don't go under the mistletoe... with anyone else but me.

I bet Kristen is happy to be back in LA...
Trying to get stuff together for Christmas.
Maybe figuring out a way to wrap herself up for Rob
because we all know that she is all he wants.

And honestly...
Don't you feel like 2012 will be
FanFUCKINGtastic?
It's like these wonderful positive vibes
are hitting me all over the place...
Kinda making me giggle
and...
TWIRL!
Yeah.
I feel like Twirling.
I've been too busy lately to have the time...
But this is that time of year
Happy Twirling!

Happy is good.
It's nice to be cheerful this time of year...
And especially nice that
two lovely people have found each other
and they will have
Peace
Quiet
and
LOVE
this holiday season.

Ain't nothing wrong with that.

This post is brought to you by the letter *T*

T for
Together.
Yes.
I'm going to say it.
Robert and Kristen
Always
End up
TOGETHER.

T for
Truth is Truth.
You know it's true.

"I feel it in my fingers...
I feel it in my toes.
Love is all around me
And so the feeling grows."

Corny?
Hell yeah.
But like I said...
Truth is fucking truth.

And T is for

Green. Sheep. Forever.

Thomas Sturridge.
Of course.
And I love this picture of him...
I was trying to figure out exactly why
(besides the obvious adorableness)
and then it hit me.
He's smiling.
You don't get to see Tom do that very often in public.
I love his smile.

Is there anything better than Tom and Rob laughing? Not much...

It lights up his whole face...
Especially his eyes.
Those incredible blue eyes.
OK. OK.
I will stop.
For now.

Until next time...

Bye for now

Lots of sweet things to be happy about in your post Rose.

Wherever and whatever they are doing my wish for them is peace and happiness....

So I made baked mac/cheese for dinner last night using a new recipe. No one liked it (neither did the chef so I wasn't offended)!

However the following recipe is delish so I will share. I know strawberries aren't necessarily in season right now but if you find some that are good then this makes for a pretty dessert at Christmas with the red in it....

Strawberry Shortcake:

Ingredients
1 large angel food cake

For the custard:
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

For the glaze:
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons strawberry gelatin (recommended: Jell-O)
1 cup water
2 cups fresh strawberries, cut in 1/2 (if berries are extra large, they can be cut into quarters)
Whole fresh strawberries and mint leaves, for garnish

Directions
Slice cake, using a serrated knife, horizontally into 3 equal layers.

For the custard:
Mix together cream cheese, condensed milk, and whipped topping in a bowl; set aside.

For the glaze:
In a medium saucepan, stir together sugar, cornstarch, and gelatin; add water. Cook stirring over medium heat until thick. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Fold in strawberries.

For assembly:
Place 1 layer of cake in a large clear bowl. Top with a layer of glaze, followed by a layer of custard mixture. Repeat layering in this order for remaining cake, glaze and custard. Top cake with 3 whole fresh strawberries and fresh mint leaves.

Hope everyone has had a great week. Now onto the weekend!!! Only so many days left to shop....

DK- Hope you start feeling better soon!

Groovie- Glad you and the sis are having fun in Vegas!

Hello, Roseland!

Twirling is exactly what I need, got to get in the holiday spirit, but life is kicking my butt. Nothing dramatic, just "stuff" - too much to do, too many demands, too little time!

Have a good, productive weekend, everyone!

Wonderful words. Although I haven't commented in a while, I still read every time you post. :) Hoping that wherever Rob and Kristen are, they are relaxing and enjoying the holiday season.

I hope it's okay for me to post a recipe for y'all still. It's very simple and refreshing.

Margarita Fruit Dip:

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup frozen (thawed) margarita drink mix (from 10-ounce can)
2 Tbsp orange juice
1 teaspoon grated lime peel
1/4 cup whipping (heavy) cream
whole strawberries *I also use other fruit*

1. Beat cream cheese, margarita mix, orange juice and lime peel in large bowl with the electric mixer on low speed until smooth.
2. Beat whipping cream in chilled small bowl with electric mixer on high speed until stiff. Fold into cream cheese mixture. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
3. Serve dip with strawberries (or other fruit). Enjoy!!

Have a great weekend guys...I'm done with all my Christmas shopping, just have some more cookies to make with my little guy this weekend :)

Santa Hat Brownies

Yields 12-16 brownies

Ingredients:
1 pan of your favorite brownies, cooled and cut into desired size and shape (I used a round cutter)
12-16 small strawberries, cleaned and hulled
vanilla-mascarpone buttercream (recipe below)

Mascarpone Buttercream
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
8 ounces mascarpone cheese, room temperature
2-1/2 to 3 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
pinch of salt

Method:
Using a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, beat butter and mascarpone cheese until light and creamy, about 2 minutes.  Add vanilla extract and salt.  Add 2-1/2 cups of sugar, half a cup at a time and continue beating until smooth.  Add more sugar, if needed to reach desired consistency and sweetness.

To assemble, pipe a ring of vanilla buttercream on top of each brownie.  Cut off the base of a strawberry so it is flat and place it upside down on each brownie, pushing slightly to secure in place.  Top the tip of the strawberry with a dot of buttercream to finish the santa hat.

Hello everyone!
Hope u are all having a fanfuckingtastic weekend! :)
Thanks for all the well wishes on my Vegas vacation! Just got home about an hour ago! Had fun times! My sister had never gambled in her life, sat down at one of those penny slots, put $5 in and won $50! Lol! She was pleased with herself!
We also watch the food network A LOT and my sister is like in love with Bobby Flay. He has a restaurant at Ceasar's Palace, so we splurged and ate there. Very cool and fancy! So that was a fun experience. We also went to the Revolution Bar at the Mirage. Coolest place. I always admire it from the outside, cuz I'm a huge Beatles fan, but its even cooler inside and just really chill and fun. And 2 for 1 mixed drink special..even better! Lol! We also got those giant Eiffel Tower margaritas, soooo much alcohol, lol! I've been taking my sister since she was 13, but it was fun to be able to drink & gamble with her this time around!

Now I'm enjoying some quiet alone time and then have to think about finishing my Xmas shopping!

Hello ladies, see you'll a quite busy, doing all the christmas shopping! i just want to share a little of my problem with you'll!i did something quite terrible, and now i feel, like the worst person on the planet, i dishonor my parent at least on of them, as i write this i'm in tears, i feel like a traitor unto God,about 5mth ago my dad had a terrible accident, and was left in a very bad way, cannot remember most of the time and the bathroom stories on himself, well in other worst helpless, now my mum and him has been divorce since i was a child, but he took car of me, maybe as best he said, but that was not true, my father, had allot of money anything he bought he bought cash, cars houses, just saying but never give me any or bought me a car, but here goes, his new wife place him in a home, in fact dump him off! That's in venezuela where they lived, on hearing this traveled to venezuela, and spoke to his wife and brought him to live with me, i'm lived in the US since i was a child, long story but moved to Trinidad, because i came for a divorce, and decided to stay, sine my MS, and my husband still is decided to provided me with new home house keeper, it's very comfortable to me,my choice, note, i have no love for my husband that way again, i was married at 16,

Vangie said...

con-t, giving you'll the whole story, i was married at 16 pretty young, my husband had a good job, he was and aircraft mechanic, i went to school as normal, did a degree in history!i was happy, for a while until he started cheated, and was going to the gym quite regular, but that's water under the bridge,[MY FATHER] so i bought my father home with me, my mum refuse to come by me now, so i'll not be see her for christmas, now my dad is sending me bonkers, messing everywhere, people say i should get somewher for him, but everytime i look at my dad i cry, it's so unbelievable how he has become! but yesterday i got so angry and i used quite alot of obscene on my dad, now i feel so awful and ashamed and i wished he died, what kind of person/ daughter i am, i forgot i am 24 and i will not be having no kids, the MS took care of my period, so i guess no kids for me i made on friend since i came to TRINIDAD, i mean female, but she says she scorns my dad, so she has stop coming, but i have got a male friend but i think he wants more but never, sorry ladies, thats the story of my life!!!

Super RN Gas Passer said...

Good Morning Roseland...

GROOVIE...I enjoyed reading about Vegas...I have been to the bar there after the LOVE performance.

VANGIE...You are not to feel bad about yourself. You are young and not well. The men in your life are the ones that have let you down. Your dad if he soils himself he needs to be in a skilled nursing facility. The stress of trying to care for him is going to impair your health. Please get in touch with someone that can help you! Take care.

ali mac said...

Vangie, in the UK the government provide a carer to come in to your home to help with things like toileting problems etc. they can come from one to three times a day depending on the patients condition. if this service is not available to you in your country you would be better for both yourself and your fathers relationship if he was looked after in a proper care home type of facility, otherwise your relationship with your father will just deteriorate. Also if your father is looked after out of your home your Mother can start visiting you again. You also have to think of your health and I'm sure MS is made worse with too much stress.

I have seen you saying you aer a woman who believes in God, so why don't you pray for an answer from Him.

Leni said...

@Vangie:
You are not a bad person at all!
But I think that for your father's health and also for your own health it would be better to get professionals to help you take care of him :)

Kissing By The Mistletoe

Joe Williams:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gA4JWiqpJtw

There's a very good reason
Why the holiday season
Is a wonderful time
For a boy and girl to fall in love

'Cause Santa and Cupid
Planned exactly what you did
When you kissed me by the mistletoe above

We stood there kissin' by the mistletoe
Tingle, tingle, tingle, tingle
Mmm and away we go, jingle, jingle
Kissin' by the mistletoe, love came to stay
And now it's Christmas every day

There is a heavenly treasure
More than money can measure
In the gift you get when you give your love
And I can tell
(Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss)

'Cause whenever it's Christmas
If I never get this much
He ran my heart I remember very well

We stood there kissin' by the mistletoe
Tingle, tingle
Mmm and away we go, jingle, jingle
Oh, kissin' by the mistletoe, love came to stay
And now it's Christmas every day
(Kissin' by the mistletoe)

I said and now it's Christmas every day
Oh yeah
And now it's Christmas every day

Thank you/Smorivoje

Good morning dear Rose and Roseland,
Coming up for air.....only two more days of finals for the students. Have a mixed up schedule during exam days, so I got to sleep in this morning. : )

Love the post "Love is All Around Us", and am twirling with you Rose and all the Roselanders.

So happy that Rob and Kristen are being ninjas and staying under the radar. Wishing them every happiness possible and wonderful, quality time with their family, friends and of course each other.

Thank you for all the amazing recipes. Emilia, love flan, so will be making the Godiva chocolate flan dessert later this week.

A little Monday morning giftie for y'all. I never get to see lovely snowfalls here in Tx., so even though these are scenes from Tenn., ( quick **wave** to Rhonda and Linda and other Roselanders from that state), they do remind me of Mich. : ) I always try to play Amy Grant's Christmas album each year, she has a beautiful voice ( did see her in concert back in the 80's), and this is one of my favorite songs that she sings.

Silver Bells

A Few Good Men:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wnx6FrpGIOs

City sidewalks
Busy sidewalks
Dressed in holiday style
In the air
There's a feeling of Christmas

Children laughing
People passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on every street corner you hear

Silver Bells (silver bells)
Silver Bellls (silver bells)
Its Christmas time in the city
Ring a ling (ring a ling)
Hear them ring (hear them ring)
Soon it will be Christmas Day!

Streams of street lights
Even the stoplights
Blink a bright red and green
As the shoppers rush home
With their treasures

Hear the snow crunch
See the kids bunch
This is Santa's big scene
And above all this bustle you hear
(why you sing it for them fellas)

Silver Bells (silver bells)
Silver Bellls (silver bells)
Its Christmas time in the city
Ring a ling (ring a ling)
Hear them ring (hear them ring)
Soon it will be Christmas Day!

Merry Merry Merry Merry Christmas
A Merry Merry Merry Merry Christmas of Silver Bells of Silver Bells

ali mac said...

No snow in N.Ireland either BIRDIE, we have had it the last two or three years, but the norm is not to have it. According to the weather report it's going to be mild here on Christmas day too, about 12 degrees. Which makes it a bit to warm to even light the fire :0(

It has been so quiet in here, obviously everyone is very busy!! So I will say Happy Christmas to everyone here in Roseland. I hope everyone has a peaceful and Happy time and Santa is good to everyone.

Cut each sheet of filo pastry into 4 even-sized rectangles and brush each rectangle lightly with the melted butter.
4.

Spread one tablespoon of the chocolate spread, as evenly as possible, across the long side of each piece of pastry, keeping a 2cm/¾ in border. Fold the two short sides of the pastry over the filling to seal the chocolate spread. Roll up the pastry from the long side, to fully enclose the filling.
5.

Repeat with the remaining rectangles of filo pastry to make 12 rolls.
6.

Place the rolls on the lined baking tray and brush them with a little more melted butter, then bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until the pastry is a pale golden brown.
7.

Remove the rolls from the oven and leave to cool on a wire rack.
8.

For the vanilla cream dip, whip the cream very lightly with the sugar and vanilla extract. Spoon into a small serving bowl.
9.

To serve, dust the chocolate filo rolls with a little sifted icing sugar, and arrange them onto a serving plate with the vanilla cream dip placed alongside.

Just a little recipe I seen on t.v last night which seems really simple and quick, yet looks good!!

Hi Angelica and Rhonda and Annie.

Angelica last year was so bad!! My parents pipes were frozen for a week and a half and they had to come up to my house for showers etc,(I live 9miles from them which is a bit of a journey just to get washed lol) and collect drinking water from a big tank in the town centre, it was very miserable for them and thousands of others suffered the same problems.

So I think there are a lot of people glad for the mild weather this year. I hope you get sorted for Christmas soon, I only have my Veg to buy for Christmas day and to collect my turkey and that's me done YEAH!!
