That's Gotta Sting...

It's been an amusing week...
Capped off by another nail in the Fringe coffin...

I've been getting a lot of emails
and even my very own stalker eggs on Twitter.
You know what I mean... right?

These people make up 'sock' Twitter accounts
just to talk to little ol' me!
It's similar to the emails I get...
"Rob is single!"
"Rose just accept that Rob and Kristen are broken!"
"Rob is living the single life without Kristen!"
"What excuses do you have now, Rose?"

I could go on... but you get the gist.

I'm not sure why they feel the need to haunt this blog
and my twitter account.
(Lord knows I don't chase them around)
It just REEKS of desperation and sadness.

And then what happened?

THIS HAPPENED.

Rob and Kristen...
Arms linked
Leaning into each other as they walk
And that smile on Rob?

Some things never change, do they?
Happy in love.
Happy together.

And did you know what happened to all those egg accounts?

They're all broken
(for a long time)

Yes.
We heard the howling...

It must be painful to admit you were wrong.
Again.
Isn't it embarrassing to jump and shout about how
single Rob is based on a couple of solo outings?
People seem to focus so much on the few minutes
we get to see of Rob and Kristen.
Together or alone.
What do you think happens when there are no cameras?
No pictures to be had?

Do you think Rob and Kristen just disappear and don't exist
when there isn't a picture?
Sure... Rob went to a lunch meeting without Kristen...
And he met up with some friends at the Chateau Marmont...
And? So?

Who do you think he goes home to?
Whose bed are his shoes under?
(and his shirts and his hats...)

Whose arms did he run into as soon as he was back
from Australia?
Who does Rob share home(s) with
and dogs...
Everything?
Just because you don't SEE them together 24/7
It's pretty fucking obvious
Where he lays his head at night.
Next to Kristen.

How many more delusional excuses
can you possibly come up with?
How many more absurd conspiracy theories?

Yes. I'm sure Nick and Ruth are in some sort of
PR war to see who can outdo the other.
Right.
Uh huh.
Because a picture of Rob hiding under his hood
getting into a car somehow offsets
pictures of Rob smiling with his arm entwined
with Kristen walking down the street?
Really?
How does that work?
It just shows Rob living his life.
It shows Rob and Kristen
hanging out with friends
Enjoying their time together.

Face it...
The PR theory doesn't work anymore.
(Not that it ever did)

 The party's over...
The fat lady is singing.
Loudly.

Just go away.
Go be Rob's fan and ignore Kristen exists
(Hey, it works for some out there)

Rob is going to continue to disappoint you.
He is going to continue to live his life.
With Kristen.

The simple truth is

Rob and Kristen
Always.
Fucking always.
End up
Together.

ALWAYS.

This post is brought to you by the letter C

C for Conspiracy Theories.
Always entertaining.
Always showing how desperate you are
to cling to the scraps of what remains of your sanity.

C for Cuckoo.

This is what happens when you put
your faith in 'seers' and equine beasts.

C for CUTE!
Adorable.
Sweet.
Tom!

Remember when I said the future looked bright?
Indeed.

I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.

Until next time

Bye for now
Lunatics.

okay then let's try this. who can name 5 movies already this year that we were told were going to make us forget all about twilight, and that they would go on to be successful franchises, but have already fallen by the wayside. there are 5 of them. and no googling or going to box office mojo. that is just amateur

Anonymous said...

Sorry Robert & Birdie - I don't know enough music composers to play the game. But you guys have fun!

Anonymous said...

Robert- I am more into Freestyle Explosion. During the 80's. You Lisa, Lisa, The cover girls, Sweet sensations, Debbie Deb, Expose', and all the good ones that I grew up with. Even the 90's too. And more of RB and raps. Back in my day.

Birdie said...

Robert,
OK one more,an unsung hero of mine,John Hiatt.

.These are just a few of his songs done by other performers:

"Thing Called Love" (Bonnie Raitt), "The Way We Make A Broken Heart" (Rosanne Cash), "Drive South" (Suzy Bogguss), "Angel Eyes" (Jeff Healy), "Memphis In The Meantime" (Trisha Yearwood), "Have A Little Faith In Me" (Joe Cocker)

Anonymous said...

Robert - I have only two: Beautiful Creatures & The Host.

Anonymous said...

Hi artemisluvv and the rest of you! Hope you are having a Good Sunday. Me I am having a relaxing day. Weekends are my relaxing days.

Anonymous said...

I have to take off now guys - Happy Sunday!

Robert said...

birdie

here in lafayette they have this series where they bring in certain artists with similar backgrounds and the play each others songs and there is a lot of discussion in between songs. a couple of years ago i got to see hiatt, with guy clark and lyle lovett. it was really something, i would give just about anything to be that talented

Robert said...

artemisluvv

well you get a door prize or something because you got two of them

Robert said...

birdie

joe cocker has 2 of my favorites. i mean i guess a lot of people know that he isn't really a songwriter, but i think a lot of people assume he wrote "she came in through the bathroom window" and "a little help from my friends" which were both written by paul McCartney

Robert said...

i guess no one wants to play, so i'm going home and i'm taking my ball with me

Birdie said...

Robert,
I bow to your musical prowess. You are so fortunate to have that kind of talent in your area.I saw Hiatt with Levon Helm a couple years ago. Amazing!

PamH said...

@ Robert
Just seen your post. Yes, DK and Ginger will probably rock at this. These are some I know ( I think anyway )

Written by Prince
Nothing Compares 2 U - Sinead O'Connor
Manic Monday - Bangles

Written by Neil Diamond
I'm A Believer - The Monkees

Written by Willy Nelson
Crazy - Patsy Cline ( my Moms favorite song )

Written by Lady Gaga
Quicksand - Brittany Spaers

Written by Katy Perry ( whom I wish would have released it also )
I Do Not Hook Up - Kelly Clarkson

My husband gave me this one

Written by R Kelly
You Are Not Alone - Micheal Jackson

Movies
1- Hunger Games trilogy
2- Beautiful Creatures
3 - hmmmmm, I give up
What are they ?

Robert said...

pamh

you are good, i mean really good. i knew prince, neil diamond and willie but i had no idea about the others

the movies in no particular order are
the host
beautiful creatures
hansel and gretel
jack the giant slayer
and warm bodies

Atticus said...

Hi Robert & ladies, late to the party. I'm going back to the song game and only came up with one, Blinded by the Light by Manfred Mann but Bruce Springsteen wrote it.

Atticus said...

Didn't know the Pointer Sisters did originals. Always thought they sang other musician's material.

Robert said...

atticus

its really strange the way it plays out. some people started as songwrters [willie nelson, kris kristoferson, neil diamond, carol king]

some people are so prolific that they write songs for other people because they don't know what else to do with them [prince, bruce, lennon and mccartney]

and then you have the machines who just produce so much material that they cant even keep track of who is recording their songs [dylan, joni mitchell]

Ginger with a Soul said...

Evening Ladies and Robert

Ok Robert I will join the next song/movie game now that I am here LOL bring it on

Robert said...

ok ginger

time to play hard ball

each of the following songs basically just stole the melody, note for note, from another song hoping they would not get caught. i'll give you the rip off, your mission if you choose to accept will be to name the original

"my sweet lord" george harrison
"la grange" zz top
"what i got" sublime
"mr. soul" neil young [buffalo springfield]
"twist and shout" isley brothers

once again no googling or wikipedia help either [not that you need it]

LizzieD said...

ROBERT & GINGER --- Jeopardy music play .......

Robert said...

LIZZIED

exactly, i'll take "swords" for 500, trebeck

Atticus said...

Robert, I remembered George Harrison (my fave Beatle) was sued for My Sweet Lord but for the life of me, can't remember the details.

Ginger with a Soul said...

Robert

my sweet lord - stole from he is so fine
la grange - stole from Boogie Chillen
what i got - Lady Madonna
neil young one - no clue, I think he sampled himself
twist and shout - Shake It Up, Baby

I have one for you Vinilla Ice - Ice, Ice Baby

Robert said...

atticus

hang in there a minute i have a feeling ginger is going to tell you the answer here shortly

Ginger with a Soul said...

Robert - I say stole cause most end in lawsuits LOL

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Robert - the Neil Young Mr. Soul (the cover) was Buffalo Springfield - Mr. Soul (original) which he was a member of

Robert said...

see what i mean atticus

WOW JUST WOW I am seriously not worthy
ginger very impressive

5. is "la bamba"
4. mr. soul has the same riff as satisfaction, but they were both written and released in '65 so i like to believe that neither was aware of the other

i am super impressed with lady madonna, i didn't think anyone knew about that

as for ice ice baby that is a trick question everyone knows that vanilla [or "nilla" as i like to call him] set the record straight when he said that queen/bowie's "under pressure" is nothing like his song..."theirs goes "dum dum dum de de dum dum and ours goes de dum dum dum de de dum dum, so clearly they are two completely different songs"

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Robert - I laugh every time he tries to explain it - he stole that riff and he knows it, he just looked stupid trying to play it off

Anonymous said...

Robert- Those were my favorite music too. That is so cool.

Robert said...

ginger

the neil young thing kind of fascinates me. both he and stephen stills recorded songs while they were members of BS that were later revised and rewritten and recorded as CSN & Y songs. they are better, but clearly they are the same song

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Robert - a lot of bands do it but at least change the name of the song . Nickleback plays a lot of repetitive choruses - liked their 1st album but the rest all sound the same as it

Robert said...

arleen

i am familiar with some of those acts, like lisa lisa, but i confess that i have never heard of "freestyle explosion"

tell me a little about it

Anonymous said...

Robert- Well before me and my family moved to Utah about two years ago. Before we moved here. We were living in LA. My husband brought me tickets to go to see Freestyle Explosions. Its mix from the 80's. The Cover Girls, Lisa, Lisa, Expose, Shannon, Debbie Deb, Stacy Q, and others were there. They called it Freestyle Explosion. That is what it is. They go there every year. Same place where the MMA was held at the Universal Studios. Around in July. I think. I miss these guys. There were my favorite that I grew up with.

Atticus said...

Ginger & Robert

I bow to you almighty trivia music gods, lol!

Next?

Robert said...

atticus

you are hilarious....."next?"

okay beatles trivia

1. name 1 other recording artist who covered "elanor rigby"

2. while almost every beatles song is credited to lennon/maccartney as songwriters, the fact is they rarely ever wrote a song together after 1964, so who wrote "elanor rigby"?

3. most people know that "yesterday" was originally called "scrambled eggs," but what the original title of "elanor rigby"?

4. father mackenzie is a character in "elanor rigby" but originally he was supposed to be called something else, what was it?

5. from where did paul get the name "elanor rigby"?

Robert said...

arleen

that is so cool, your husband sounds like a really good guy

question for you, did you enjoy living in LA?

Atticus said...

Robert, now I would swear Lennon & McCartney wrote Eleanor Rigby. Okay, awaits answers from Ginger.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Robert

1. Rare Earth, The Fray (because they are from CO) and the oddest Ja Rule, B.o.B although there were many many more

2.McCartney started the song but lyrics were added by John, George, Ringo, and Pete Shotton

3. Miss Daisy Hawkins

4. Father McCartney

5. Eleanor Bron is the Eleanor Part and Rigby came from a store named Rigby & Evens Ltd, Wine & Spirit Shippers

Anonymous said...

Robert- The only thing that I enjoy in LA while living there is my family. That is only things that meant to me. All my family lives in LA. And where I grew up. We still keep in touch. All my husband's family lives in Utah.

Robert said...

geeze louise

am i the only one really impressed here?

you got em all, yeah ray charles did a wicked version

interesting side note: apparently paul walked to grade school by the same path every day for 8 years. he had to pass by a cemetery on the way and there is a headstone visible from the sidewalk with the name "elanor rigby" on it

one more the beatles recorded 3 songs that none of the beatles played an instrument on. can you name all 3?

Robert said...

okay i want to play too. you give me some

Robert and Ginger, you made me hide in a corner with a sack over my head.

@Robert, I can most definitely say you are the lucky one. I only got to see Roger Waters a few yrs ago but it was a bad substitute for the real thing. I might get slapped for saying this, knowing Waters was one of the founders but for me David Gilmour is the man. The magic sounds that man produces with those talented fingers, he makes his guitar speak/sing, it's ecstasy, haha damn yes still talking about his guitar. Plus I love his voice, warm and deep.

Hi to all the Roseland. Sorry I am mad at Eonline right now. They are making a big deal about Kristen not being with Rob on the Friday night. The guys night thing. What they forget is Kristen was out of town. Wasn't she in Texas over the weekend. And especially the Comments on Eonline. Which tick me off. Those to me are nothing but haters. From now I am staying aways from Eonline. They are nothing but haters. I rather hear it from you then from them. I like to hear good news. Not bad news.

LizzieD said...

ARLEEN -- There is no bad news about R & K. No matter what media ... they have to do whatever they can to SELL!!! And by sensationalizing the fact that Rob was actually out at a party without Kristen is just BS. They are NORMAL people, two individuals who have many friends. THEY ... ARE ... SOLID in their relationship and don't need to be together every minute of every day.

Last comment on gypsy, folk, rock fusion style:

"Ode's sound is a mixture of rock, folk, and world music. Certain pieces of the puzzle are indigenous to their Eastern European homeland but richly layered with heavy rhythmic elements and punctuated with deliberate pauses.

The ensuing fusion is a trailblazing, energetic brand of rock music. Front man Davor's harmoniously roaring yet graceful voice cuts like anguish through a room. He has the ability to move an audience through haunting melodies and beautifully complicated, piercing lyrics."

Ginger & Annie- Its windy, cold, and snowing here in Logan, Utah. And the roads are slippery. I had to use my husband's snow jacket. Plus I got a ride on the way there by my husband and on the way back by one of the volunteers. I normally walk to and from the school. Its messing up my exercises today. I enjoy walking when its good weather.

Happy Birthday to Kristen Stewart !!!!! (I will write more when Rose puts up the birthday post cause we know it is coming and will be epic)

@Pam/Arleen- still snowing but it is the ice and wind that is an issue here too - so so so over it.

Ginger- Its windy and snowing here too. I heard it might stop later. I don't know. I can't predict the weather.
Is it true that Rob and Kristen went to the Riri concert?

Hello everyone.

HAPPY B-DAY KRISTEN STEWART!!!!!!!!

@Ginger-hey there-your working at home?

@Tuf- hello,I hate that Ryan can't get a break. But it seems that some of cults member will betray Joe.I watched the 1st episode of Hannibal,it's also creepy.David Slade was the director for the show.

@Birdie- hello,They will probably kill Joe if they will end the show after the 15 episodes. If not then they will drag it until the next season. There's only 3 or 4 more episodes left. The show though have a lot of viewers,so who knows if they will continue or not.

Hi Holy.
I hope that no one was lured to clicking RAG links. All TRASHLOIDS have come around and are writing SYNCHRONIZED ASS KISSING BDAY greets and bits about our baby girl. Classy . Lets continue to boycott them esp US WEEKLY and PEOPLE MAG
HAPPY BDAY KSTEW
