1. The beard.
I'm actually a fan of beards.
But you have such a purty face...

It's that baseball hat.

3. The sweater.
Because as some people pointed out last night...
That sweater looked oddly familiar.

That someone found exactly why the sweater looked so familiar.

Robert wore it during a photocall for Goblet of Fire.

And truly...
If you look at the pattern on this sweater...
It's probably the same one.
Which makes me smile really big...
because some clothes will never be retired...
and some clothes are always OUT there...
And I find it ALL KINDS OF CUTE
that Tom is wearing the same sweater 5 years later.

There was someone who tried to stir things up
by making up some quote that Tom supposedly said
about Rob and Kristen.
I'm thinking he wouldn't do that.
Those are his friends.
And I'm guessing his friendships mean more to him
that any attention he might get by talking about them.
I had mentioned on Twitter that
I <3 Tom.
And I do.
Immensely.
And it had nothing to do with what he may or may not have said.
Actions speak louder than words.
Although...
He DID say that
Kristen is an extraordinary actress.
And I love that for a couple of reasons.
Kristen IS an extraordinary actress.
And Tom obviously cares about her as a friend.

will make me smile for hours.

We Love A Piano Bar
Davenport's is a quaint Chicago neighborhood piano bar.
V, my bff and I were going there for the first time, to celebrate her actual birthday, and my ongoing month long birthday celebration, too. (give or take a month)
When you walk into Davenport's, it's feels like you're in a cozy cabaret, one that's somewhat funky, with lots of red, orange, black, bold, colorful patches of geometric designs, everywhere.
The black velvet drapes hanging over the doorway, made it feel like we were going backstage at a theatre. Exciting!
The bar was full of women, all dressed up and singing loudly.
Daryl, the Star, wore a boa scarf around his neck, while he began to choose people from the audience to come up and sing with him. They sang, wholeheartedly, and rather drunkenly, charmingly.
George, the Star's accompanist, was known to V. He had played piano for her local theatrical group.
When he began to sing, in a fine, high tenor voice, that beautifully harmonized with the star's, V was awestruck, for she hadn't heard him sing before. Me, too!
We sat at the curved, high gloss, artsy painted bar, next to a couple of gorgeous guys. However, they were happily lost in each other.
The crowd buzzed with electricity, as we sang along to songs from musicals like Oklahoma, Chicago, Rent, Evita, Man of La Mancha, and many more. Broadway, here we come!
Some of the wait staff were invited to entertain us and they were really great singers.
A locally well known singer/dancer did a medley of old television cartoon theme songs. We heard Mighty Mouse, Thunder Dog, Woody Woodpecker, Star Wars, tunes that were taking us on a walk down memory lane. (A nicer way of not saying, we're older b-day girls)
Our Star did the most incredible renditions of songs sung by Eartha Kitt, Kate Hepburn, Carol Channing, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong and Mandy Patinkin. Truly fabulous!
At the end of the set, we decided to go somewhere else, for another kind of something different. (The Friendly Tap story coming soon)
V never got a chance to say hello to G, the piano man. But, we will go back, when the leaves are green, to celebrate something or another.

I should quit complaining, and truly I'm not meaning to I'm just not used to this. Hi "Everybody" sorry I am sooo tired tonight..I ran upstairs to get through the shower and get my PJ's on....I will be asleep I hope by 9! One more 10 hour shift tomorrow..God help me and Fridays are always a killer...Oh well..
For your joints, you have to take Triple Strength Osteo Bi Flex twice a day..usually kicks in in about a week or 2..But you also need to eat the good oils, and maintain a reasonable weight, exercise and UNLESS you spend 30 minutes outside EVERY DAY without sunblock, you MUST supplement WITH VITAMIN D3..2000-5000iu PER DAY..

IB- LOVE the OTR stills, really excited for this film, I really enjoyed the book and it will be cool to finally see it come to life onscreen. Kristen is getting all into it in the dancing scene it looks like. Awesome stuff!
KAMI- I love football. I will watch any football game at anytime. But for some reason I really don't care about the SB this year, I am rooting for the Packers though. Simply because I hate the Steelers and still hold animosity towards them for stealing the SB away from my Cardinals a couple years ago! Lol
As for Kris playing Snow White. Well, she definitely fits and I'm sure she will be incredible if she does take the part. From the script, it seems as if Snow is beautiful, sweet, kind and badass! Kristen certainly fits that description!

Hi Super... no, the amounts were a bit lower, but the icing was crazy! The hubby has spent an hour filling old nylons with some sort of ice melt mixture, and proceeding to toss these "packets" onto the roof to combat something called ice dams (which basically means the water is coming thru the roof into the upstairs bedrooms)...
BTW, thanks so much for the joint supplement recommendations...I'm getting the aforementioned hubby started on it right away!

Super: it's actually a miracle that we noticed the water dripping thru...it was coming into my teen daw's rrom, and I can't even get the door opened in there. She only noticed it because she could hear the dripping at nite! Certainly the clothes all over the floor absorbed most of the water, thereby saving the carpet! lol

Rhonda – work has been inconsistent. The last couple of days have been busy, but other days have been surprisingly slow. I’m expecting things to pick up as we start to plan for our annual “kick off meeting”, which happens in a couple of weeks. Things will probably get really busy and then I’ll be longing for some slow time again. We also have new boss and as he gets into things more, I suspect he’ll generate some additional work. Time will tell.

You know there are several Beatles tribute bands around..we have seen three..Beatlemania, then there is one in Las Vegas, cant remember their name but there is another that plays around this area and they dress and do most all of the early stuff and they do sound EXACTLY like them..they call themselves THE RETURN..they have a website..

I got to see a couple of Tom's interviews for his movie & I have to say...what an incredibly nice guy he is! And such a hottie too!(& I mean that in the most respectful, least cougarish way possible!...lol). I'm looking forward to seeing 'Waiting for Forever'.
So now I'm left wondering why the hell I'm awake before 5 when school has been cancelled & I don't have any other reason to be up!

Kami - I have it the other way round, my soft,London born husband is scared of half an inch of snow, he paid my nephew £20 to clear the drive !!
