Waiting for Tom Sturridge... Forever.

Waiting For Forever.
Feb 4th, 2011

GO SEE IT!

Don't you want to see that face?
And hear that voice??
Oh I do.
So much.
I mean... seriously...
How many times can I watch "Pirate Radio"?
(Obviously a lot of times...)

Tom and Rachel Bilson at premiere in Los Angeles last night.
Rachel is so lovely.
What a cute couple.
(Is Rachel still with that Hayden guy?)

But Thomas...
A couple of things...

1. The beard.
I'm actually a fan of beards.
But you have such a purty face...
Why.
Why cover it up in any way?
But still...
You look adorable with the beard as well.

2. The beanie.
And here's where I say I'm a fan of the beanie.
And I AM.
But if its not the beanie...
It's that baseball hat.
And you have that head of floppy hair...
always hiding from us.

and last but not least...

3. The sweater.
Because as some people pointed out last night...
That sweater looked oddly familiar.
Where oh where did we see this sweater?
It was only a matter of moments
(perhaps seconds)
That someone found exactly why the sweater looked so familiar.

Right.
Robert wore it during a photocall for Goblet of Fire.
Yes.
That's right.
The Goblet of Fire.
From October 2005.

And truly...
If you look at the pattern on this sweater...
It's probably the same one.
Which makes me smile really big...
because some clothes will never be retired...
and some clothes are always OUT there...
And I find it ALL KINDS OF CUTE
that Tom is wearing the same sweater 5 years later.

That kinda gives me hope for...

The Stoli T-shirt!!!
Is it still in the rotation?
I mean...
If 'hobo-ing' goes back at least 5 years...
Does that mean there is hope it will surface
sometime in the future?
Surely he wouldn't have had someone sew up the rips
if he didn't still want to wear it...
Right?

So Tom was interview extensively yesterday...
I'm sure he was asked about Robert.
I'm sure he was asked about Kristen.
I'm sure he was asked about Rob and Kristen.

There was someone who tried to stir things up
by making up some quote that Tom supposedly said
about Rob and Kristen.
I'm thinking he wouldn't do that.
Those are his friends.
And I'm guessing his friendships mean more to him
that any attention he might get by talking about them.

I had mentioned on Twitter that
I <3 Tom.
And I do.
Immensely.
And it had nothing to do with what he may or may not have said.
Actions speak louder than words.
Although...
He DID say that
Kristen is an extraordinary actress.
And I love that for a couple of reasons.

Kristen IS an extraordinary actress.
And Tom obviously cares about her as a friend.
(and as his best friend's girl ;)

And just listening to him say
extraordinary
will make me smile for hours.

In closing...

This post is brought to you by the letters *B* and *W*

B for Best Friends!
Can you imagine what it would be like to hang out
with Robert and Tom?
Oh Kristen...
You are a lucky girl.
Indeed.

W for

WAITING FOR FOREVER!
Seeing Tom
Hearing Tom
Loving Tom

Go see it!

Bye for now

WHOA! I literally gasped when I logged on and saw the new banner.
It's funny how you can see a picture a million times but then when Rose puts it up as a banner it's like you're seeing it for the first time. Love the red, too!

Tom's comments about Kristen's performance in OTR has me even more excited to see it than I was already. I love the picture of K, GH, & SR in the car.

TGIF Roseland!

OOOOOOOH, what a knock your socks off banner. One of the most gorgeous and telling photos of Rob and Kristen, set against the brilliant red background; simply beautiful. Thank you Rose! : )
Puts me in a Valentines Day mood already.

Squeeeee! A real, honest to goodness snow day today! Super thin layer of ice covered by about 1 inch of snow and it is still snowing lightly. So very pretty, still cold, about 22 degrees.... so instead of a 2 hour delay, they canceled for the day. My neighbor's three little ones are already up and running around outside squeeling, and having a great time. What fun for them. First real snow for them. Kudos to my newspaper boy. Dry and on time, in order to enjoy with my morning cuppa. Definitely will get a nice tip.

And the beat goes on, with the Beatles. DK, your gift to all of us of the Beatles marathon has been so enjoyable. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Rose, will cheer on the Packers for you!

Hugs

30,
I read about your daughter. I think it says something about her talent that she topped out the "popular girl", especially at that age. How exciting for both of you!

Good morning,Olivia. Enjoy your freedom today!

30...thanks for the info on the red. And, congrats to your daughter! I have one of those drama kids...they're the coolest:)

It seems I won't be taking my mom to get her steroid injection this morning, seeing as how the road I have to use to get in to Baton Rouge is closed because of ice. It's really kinda cracking me up...I use to drive in snowstorms all the time in Maine and Connecticut, but a little freezing rain shuts everything down here. Better to be safe, I guess.

I just wanna let Roseland know that San Antonio got snow for the first time in like twenty years and some people felt like kids outside making snow angels!!!

God bless, have warm day!

Oh yeah, we have snow/ice here in Shreveport! Jentoo, I know what you mean about everything shutting down. We used to live in the Baltimore area, so it's kind of funny to me when a little bit of winter precip sends everyone into a tizzy. But I have to admit, I do love a snow day!
