The writer seems to want to make this interview
salaciously connected to the 'incident'.
It wasn't.

about this very thing

I realize the hyenas out there...
frothing and foaming at the mouth
want to believe that Kristen is indeed talking about
that lecherous man twice her age...
But alas... dear scavengers...
It's quite obvious who she was talking about.
Now...
I don't know if she really decided to discuss
licking under armpits (come on... you have to laugh)
or having babies (notice the plural)
Or to even 'missing my boyfriend'
It seems a bit out of character for Kristen to discuss
something so intimate and personal
But then again...
She had been a bit more vocal lately
in terms of her relationship with Robert.
So true or not
Some people got all up in arms
about Kristen talking about Rob in such a way!
How dare she!
Yes... they were lighting their torches
and polishing their halos...
because why must she keep humiliating him this way???
Yeah. Right.
This is from the same group of people
who zoom in on his crotch and blow up
endless movie scenes of Rob having sex
so they might get a glimpse
of Robert's 'package'.
They focus on Rob like he is a piece of meat
to be devoured for their satisfaction.
THAT is perfectly OK.
I'm sure Rob would be positively THRILLED
to have his crotch analyzed daily.
Not humiliating at all.
Nope.
But his GIRLFRIEND can't discuss
missing him...
gotcha.
2. The shirt.
Oh dear.
Oh my.
Does Kristen have no shame?

There's all this talk about 'ex boyfriend'

The whole 'break up' is just speculation?

And as far as Kristen wearing Rob's shirt

She ALWAYS wears his clothes.
He doesn't seem to mind, does he?
If they were truly over...
Would she continue to do so?
Doubtful.
If you break up with someone...
you don't go wearing his stuff in public.
Especially in front of an obsessed fandom
that catalogs every item of clothing worn.
She wears his clothes because...

a VIDEO interview that couldn't be misquoted...
Kristen has this to say...

Today was a perfect fall day so I spent the entire day outside with my family at the Cider Mill.
Yesterday I had a very relaxing mani/pedi, a successful trip to Neiman Marcus to purchase a bottle of Florabotanica and then I finally got to see Cosmopolis!
First, I have to talk about Florabotanica. I am in love with this fragrance! I would describe it as a spicy powdery rose fragrance. In my opinion, it is the perfect fragrance for fall. It's also a lot lighter than I expected it to be...probably because it reminds me a little bit of another fragrance that I own called Agent Provocateur. Agent Provocateur is a much heavier fragrance than Florabotanica but they both share the same sexy spicy powdery rose accord. Yesterday must have been my lucky day because I bought the very last bottle of Florabotanica and also received a bunch of really cool freebies...a midnight blue tote bag with some skin care and perfume samples tucked inside and a little pink mesh bag with a miniature of the original Balenciaga fragrance plus two pretty refillable perfume atomizers - one filled with the original Balenciaga fragrance and the other filled with a fragrance called Valentina. Both fragrances are also very nice.
Cosmopolis is a very intense movie with heavy dialogue. It is definitely not for the casual moviegoer. It's hard to understand so you really have to pay attention. A couple of scenes also literally made me jump and then cover my eyes. Honestly, it was a little too violent for my taste. I also realized that I don't like watching Robert Pattinson get hurt or hurt other people onscreen. I'm still glad that I saw it because at the end of the day, I still got to watch Robert Pattinson onscreen for two hours and that is never a bad thing. I also want to read the book now to see if the movie makes any more sense to me.

I have read most of cosmopolis but not seen the movie yet. I found the book hard going but the clips I've seen of the movie helped me to get it better, if that makes sense.

And I can't wait to see Cosmopolis...but I did attempt to read the book and just couldn't get into it....it was...weird...lol...so I thought I might try again...after I see the movie...lol

I respect your decision. I don't get to spend much time in my car so I have never done audio books. I spend all my spare time...which I have very little of...on my I pad and I am even reading my Kindle downloads on it as well. My hubs has a nice pair of ear phones for his I pad...I wonder if you can get audio books on it???
Super RN, You will probably find the movie a little weird too but it's intensity will definitely keep your interest.
LIZ, I've never listened to an audio book before. I always worried that the voice would be too distracting or would mess up the image I have of the character in my head. I think Cosmopolis might be an easier read if I picture Rob as Eric Packer. If It's Rob's voice though, I'm in.

I hope everything works out for your daughter and son ( because he is, your taking care of him ) I guess we all have that moment when we've done all we can and know how to do as parents but then it's up to them to see what they've learned from us and themselves to try on their own. Mine is 17 no steady girlfriend ( that I know about ) and I know this same situation is coming my way in the near future and it is scary. My sister-in-law just went through this with my niece, she is 22 and married her very first serious BF right after they grad HS he had a good job and she went to college to be a Lab Tech and they seemed to be alright until she finished school and started working in our local hospital they worked different hours and barely seen each other and she made new friends and started to go out on her days off with them so they drifted apart, she never party or hung out with friends like most teens and 20 year olds do so she's just discovering what she missed out on. Luckily they didn't have kids yet and are still good friends.
Like ali mac said just because their young doesn't mean they can't make it.

Litmom, that's awful! I love perfume so much that I would be really bummed out if I ever lost my sense of smell or developed an allergic reaction to it. I'm convinced that I was a perfumer in a past life. There aren't many perfumes that I don't like.

I just want to say this about the elephant - I am really tipsy so pardon me. If it is true it is true - if it if false and someone on here played games it sucks. I think it is up for everyone to decide because every ones beliefs were theirs alone - no one can make you believe - yes it sucks if it is not what you thought it was. I may not have talked to any of the elephants but in the short time I have been on here I have seen people playing games coming in with different names and different persona's - it feel shady. If people are upset and feel deceived blame the elephant not the platform but at the end of the day go with your gut. If one day what I believe is proven wrong - that would be on me because nothing in this wold is a given - even my choices. I hope that makes sense.

SUPER -- I have a Sony MP3 player where I listen to audiobooks. I listen at bedtime as it has a sleep timer where you can listen for only 30 mins. at a time. It's also good for when you're housecleaning or doing dishes... you get the picture!!!

I guess what was difficult is never being included in the conversations that were happening at the time. I never understood at that time why no one was discussing what Rose was discussing ... you can understand why newcomers would have been confused.

I'd like to mention an observation I made today while watching one of the OTR interviews. Can't remember which one it was, sorry, but of course was Kristen and Garrett. Anyway, Kristen did most of the talking, was beautiful and animated and somewhat relaxed. While she was talking, Garrett was looking at her rather intently... however, his look was NOTHING like the look she gets from Rob. Then, when she was looking at Garrett, the same thing, she looked at him respectfully but nothing like she looks at Rob.
Personally, for BD2 promos, I don't even care if they hold hands or even touch each other ... we will see that famous "bubble" of theirs and we will all fall in love with them all over again.
Roseland is a hard habit to break...I am certain I'm not the only one still lurking about.

I really hope that no one minds if I say something in regards to the "Old Regs". I think that everyone is thinking that the people who have said that mean one thing when in reality they mean another.
The reason people have spoken about "Old Regs" is because we miss the days when the conversation on the blog was about 'fun' things. Before anyone gets hurt or angry PLEASE hear me out.
The reason we were able to concentrate Fun conversations is that nothing bad had happened. There were no pictures, no 'incident' no drama involving this. The biggest drama was usually in connection with a troll.
We could concentrate on fun things back then, because things were easy and fun back then. We miss THOSE days for everyone. That is why we are thinking of those days with sentimentality. We MISS the fun times. We miss the most exciting gossip was whether or not Rob was really in Canada with Kristen as she filmed scenes for OTR. We miss wondering what they had planned when they accepted best kiss. We discussed what skit they should do to tease the fans when they accpeted the award.
We had the luxury of talking about recipes and simpler things because we knew the truth that they were together and that was the biggest gossip about them.
So everyone please stop feeling offended when we talk about the Old Regs. No one is saying "Man I wish these Newbies would leave and the Old Regs would return!" All we are saying is "We wish the Old Regs were here with US too."

The "incident" has changed all kinds of things in the fandom, it wouldn't be realistic to think it wouldn't change here too. Like @Kami said, we were all so like-minded, the only controversy seemed to be the occasional troll. Now, we often have divergent, valid, rational opinions and observations. Not better, not worse, different.
I was a lurker for some time, kind of intimidated to try to step in, and it seems like newbies were a 50/50, who was real or a troll in disguise. I, for one, think this has been the silver-lining to the drama a few weeks ago!

I am a newbie like you. I felt intimidated in the beginning (6 weeks ago)as well but I understood the regs hesitancy as you have a lot of trolls coming here so I respected the wariness. If you have a group of friends and somebody new barges in trying to take over I would be like "who the fuck do you think you are" as well.
I've been reading this blog for over 2,5 yrs now, I used to comment as well but got lost talking about cakes and what not (even though I love to cook). I also thought I was talking to myself but that was because I came from R'nation which was a safe place without much controversy as S. wouldn't accept any hateful or disrespectful comments.
Rose's blog is totally different but I needed it as much as R'nation, I craved her wit, sarcasm, sharpness and conviction.
I've tested the waters first the first few weeks but that's in my character anyway but I wanted to stay here as I like it here, it's been very therapeutic since the incident, it was good reading other people's thoughts/belief and hope, specially Ginger's and Tempest's. I needed it.
Now I don't even think about it anymore, I don't feel the need to re-read my comments before I post them in case I am saying something I shouldn't. I'm like fuck it, this is how I am. I plan to stick around, it's a good source of info which I didn't think it would be plus and I crack up reading some of the comments specially the ones directed at the trolls.

Hi...felt your words like they were mine. Exactly the same thing for me. I was a lurker on every robsten fansites but was never a regular on any. You're right...people here
were helpful as if they knew and understood how i was feeling and they were very accomodating. It felt like i was going through my own break-up and was so depressed but i couldn't tell anyone. But people around me are starting to notice and i couldn't afford to look like an idiot to them.
I needed to be heard of my frustrations of the tabloid cult so i came here and they just gave the floor to me. I vented out...And now i'm more than okay and just enjoying everyone's post.
@DK, the first few weeks were very emotional on everbody. I went through all kinds of feelings even though I had absolutely no right what so ever.I chastised myself for being so involved but I just love these two. They are special kids, a breath of fresh air and I have nothing but the upmost respect how they handled this crazy fandom.
I forgot to mention that your and One heart's songs made me cry a few times.
So I tied to change my profile, don't know if it's working but it is a pic of them I find so tender so full of love, it's one of my favs apart from the VF photoshoot that Rose uses.

Happy belated! I don't know what to say about your daughter,except I have empathy. I have children that age and it is so damn hard watching them make choices that may not be the best. There is really only so much you can do. They are learning, although sometimes the hard way. All you can do is love them and I can see that you do.

Your comment about the difference in comments was really right on. I can't find it, but was it you who said something to the effect different times, different comments? Things were less controversial back then, so the comments were also. Not a bad thing, but times have changed.
I also agreed with what PL said. This blog has always been about respecting Rob and Kristen. So, the comments were pretty much based on " What would they think if they read this?" It is all about respect for what is theirs.
I've been reading this blog since 2008 and the tone has changed a few times. I've also seen quite a few people come, go and come back again. Except for a very few I have seen most of the people start here. So lots of newcomers over the years. I lurked a long time and still do for the most part. But everyone was here for the same reason, they think these two young people are special and support them. It is why I am still here.
So things change and people come and go. I enjoy seeing new people here and miss the comments of many of the old regulars. I love reading Rose and I respect her. As she often says, with acceptance comes peace. Isn't it time for the elephant to go back to Africa?

If you come here and express yourself in a respectful manner, then you are welcomed by the old and new. Anyway...there's more important things in life than bickering amongst ourselves.
@ginger...I feel for you sweetie. But your daughter is an adult and she has to be able to make her own informed decisions. All you can do is be supportive to both of them. I really am a pretty honest person so please don't take it personally. I miss the old banter, I am not one for "Gossip" and drama or bullying and why years ago I started to post here. We all grew close and had a respect for each other for most for Rob and Kristen. And, honestly it is not healthy to "gossip" about two actor's hours and hours on a blog. @Holy - they decided this morning to just go sign the papers with no vows so they went by themselves. Everyone is fighting in the families now - it was just awesome - not. Needless to say I think they were both a bit immature how they handled this and hurt a lot of peoples feelings in the process so it will be family drama for months to come and oh joy since they both live with me I will be screening phone calls. I keep saying over and over I was 19 and I dumb once - I was - I really was. I follow that by I love them - I really love them and choking the crap out of both will do nothing.

@Ginger, I was thinking about you today. I am sorry everyone is fighting. Hubs and I went through high school together, enrolled in college and at the sweet young age of 19 got married. I know what you are going through, well at least a little bit. Of course the first thing out of everyone's mouth was I was pregnant - NOT -- they waited a good seven years before that happened, and we finished our education. Worked full time too. What a ride. But you know what? Here we are, 40 years later and three kids. Your daughter is so lucky to have you, to be under your roof cause we were on our own. I hope she realizes what a wonderful Mom you are. (I know she does). I am sending you a hug. :)

@JMF - yeah - I get love can start young, last and for their sakes I hope so. I even really like him - I fear for when they get a taste of reality after college and have to make it on their own - I told them they can live here as long as they remain in school. Everyone asked if she was pregnant too. I just wish they handled today a lot better but tis a speed bump in life and they will learn.

@ali - their friends were all happy for them. Back story on them - they dated from 1st grade until 7th grade when he was no longer cool enough for her - so she broke his heart. Then high school they dance back and forth on how they felt and then get back together about 10 months ago and bam - are married - better be fate lol
Well one thing you can't say is that they don't know eachother! Hopefully they will be one of the stories that it all works out.

I read the story and it does seem very believable based on some events we know are true and mixed with fiction, it was sad and had a positive ending.
Someone who is not a twilight fan AT ALL but has a shitty blog (I am not a fan of hers) wrote a story that she was told at TIFF Rob and Kristen are in fact back together and they were keeping it quiet as some of his "fans" might have a bad reaction - thus a hit on his career. Then some people that are credible backed up the info and the fandom melted - it was bad for a little while. I mean people dropped their twitters and such. So reactive and dramatic. How do you hate someone you were a fan of because they make a choice in their personal life. One of the people that backed the info up as being most likely real I have tremendous respect for and since she is in the field per se it is not like she is a "fan". Either way it was crazy watching reactions.
@Pam - I read teambella's stories - some are rough - like I am get into it and ask myself can I really read the journey. So that story will probably be ok with me

I've always said that my husband was my Edward. When we got married almost 38 years ago, I was a senior at the University of Georgia. Sometimes I was really tired and I still needed to study by reading in a textbook. My husband would read to me from my textbook. If I fell asleep, he would start over. I use to dry my long hair in front of a fan so as not to use heat from the hair dryer. He would comb out all the tangles from my hair. I wanted to share this with you because I can't sleep tonight. My husband died yesterday from lung cancer.

I so loved her whole outfit, I think what I like so much about her look at the moment is that we could actually wear and buy a lot of the stuff she is wearing (not the exact stuff but replicas, I don't think we have any millionaires on the board lol) it really is a great look though.
Have to go now for the second school run of the day and then stuck into homework, I shall check in a bit to see what's happening :@)

9/11 -- I'm going to remember 9/11 tonight at home, alone, by watching Remember Me and crying a lot (always do).
I believe we should stay out of LALA LAND today and just "feel" the pain for all those that were lost.
OCD - my thoughts and prayers are with you, and I am sending a virtual hug. I have almost lost my husband twice, and can't imagine the pain you are experiencing right now.
My SIL is dealing with lung cancer right now - had her first chemo treatment yesterday (was supposed to be last Thursday, but ended up being today).

Remembering the families and victims of 9/11....it's still incredibly sad watching the families as they read the names and hold up photos of their loved ones lost at Ground Zero.
I want to buy SWATH because it is a great movie and I want to support Kristen. However, I have mixed feelings because it will also be helping Rupig. I don't know what I will be doing, darn it!
Litmom at least that is her treatment started, once you start you can concentrate on the countdown to having all the treatments over and hopefully on the road to health again. It's a tough road ahead!!

@Ginger, I go wild when somebody invades my personal space like at cash registers, I would react like Kristen even though I didn't see the pics but I can imagine her reaction.
Yuch, can't stand that Lainey person. In the beginning (2010) when I was still an idiot about the honesty of gossipsites, which baffles me still cause I never bought gossipmags as I knew they were full of lies, I read hers a few times but that was in 2010 I never went back. I didn't/don't like her haughty attitude.
This morning my Irishman clicked on the Daily Mail and if it wasn't so sad for all the vile crap, lies and BS they wrote for the last 6 weeks, I would have laughed my head off. It says "She won us over again" and backtracking their shit saying that Rob and Kristen are back together, bla bla they are quoting Ms lainey. Assholes.
Also mentioning the Oriols sweaty cap etc. Sometimes it baffles me how they get away with all this as if they didn't crucify her for the last weeks, now she is the 'Queen of Cool looking beautiful' again according to the article.
I bought three copies of the SWATH DVD .......,.I don't give a rat's ass about RS........Kristen was excellent in this movie along with all the supporting cast.
I thought RS did a good job his first time out as a director of a major motion picture.
Bought the movie...... End of!
My daughter who is nearly five and her little friend are dancing in her room to her One Direction CD, they are very funny singing along and knowing all the words :)
SWATH -- I WILL be purchasing SWATH because of Kristen. I will NOT watch or listen to RS commentary (at least I don't think I will).

Lainey is a Rob hater, she does not like him. She always critisized his clothes, special his pants.
Lainey likes Kristen a lot. Even when all the thing happen she was one of the few bloggers who don't crucified her. She was against her apology but she didn't agree with her being the only one blame. She is a bitch, we all know, but we have to admite that she was not a hater for kristen in this situation.
She does not like them as a couple. But she thinks that kristen is HOT.
Hope, they grow up far to fast. What age will you let your daughter date?

My husband says 21...hahaha! She is allowed to go out on group dates and we have boys over at our house.
As it stands now, NO one on one dating until she is 16. That is our current plan, but we will take it one day at a time. LOL

@Ginger, every mom worries about thier kids but they have their life to live and choice to make. Relaxed. Like I'm nealr 30 and my mom still constantly worries about me. :) You're a great mom Ginger.
I have given my thoughts about Lainey's post on Tempest's blog. So not repeat here. I have a question though. If they are togetehr and keep it secret, wouldn't they care about Kristen's career and image? To me, it'd be easier for Kristen to be "forgiven" (not that she really needs their forgiveness) by the public if Rob toke her back. JS.

I recently had a scare too, when a doctor told us he thought my husband had leukemia, it was the most terrifying week of my life. WE had just come back from our honeymoon not even a week and this is what we were faced with.
ODC my deepest sympathies for your lost i to have lost a love one just this week my dad pass and I to lost my husband 15 years a go hold on to the good times i still do And I FOUND OUT TODAY my daughter is going to have a baby AND IT'S DUE on HER FATHERS BIRTHDAY what a joy Thinking of ALL who lost their love ones 9-11 May my payers be with them :) DEB.

MONICA -- If Rob were to speak out or let the world know, then the press and the fans would twist it around to their liking, whether PR PR PR or whatever. They've always been private and I believe they just want to take things slowly and my guess is that it'll be more like it was two years ago than the way it was in Cannes... I just think they'll want to hide away for awhile, even after BD2.
MONICA -- Another thing I just thought of... actions always speak louder than words. We will know when we see them together for BD2 whether they are together just by the way they look at each other - they don't even have to hold hands or anything. I can't wait to see the "bubble".
To OCD and all those who have lost loved ones recently have my condolences.
Came home from one hell of an epically long day of work to.....my SWATH DVD that my kids got me.

I feel 95 percent recovered. My right knee is bruised and scabbed still. I'm just thankful I didn't break anything. Thank you all your concern:)

My hubby and I were supposed to watch it tonight but doing things at home after work our time got away from us, I seen it at the theatre but he hasn't so I want to wait for us to watch together...tomorrow evening
Dear dil's father diagosed with lukemia at age 77 about two months ago. They have now put in feeding tube and sending him home with Hospice. Prognosis is not good at all. Many people everyday is suffering with loss, with illness. Please have fun with this forum and remember, that it is fun...that it is escape from out own life problems.
@Pam - SWATH was actually the last movie we went to the theater to see - it was just before the theater shooting here and getting any of the kids to want to go into the theater anymore feels like a no go because the little ones are scared and the older ones are still stuck on the one friend that died and friends that were there. I will probably sit down and watch it tomorrow as well
Ok...going out on a limb and keep in mind that I've had three glasses of wine:
I don't give a flying f&(*king flip if I don't see Rob or Kristen until BD2 promos (okay, yeah, I do)I really want them to take time to rediscover each other. I think all of the last few weeks have shown Kristen just how much she deeply, truly loves Rob. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they didn't get married or pregnant or both in the next few months. Good grief, can you imagine how gorgeous and loved that child will be. I am so in LA LA Land tonight. I did encourage my coworkers into a talk about 9/11 and the courage and tragedy that was and is too much for our humane minds to accept. I lost a son at age 25 and can relate to those who have lost loved ones. I never expected to outlive my children. If not for my living son and his child, I would have lost my mind. It's hard for some adults to be able to go back somewhere were a tragedy happened much less for kids and not be scared or freaked out.
@ tufenuf55 - I can't even imagine - I am so sorry for your loss - I watched my mom do it with my brother and although she has us three girls she will never be the same - his Birthday was on fathers day this year and I almost couldn't even call my dad to wish him a happy day because everyone was so sad - I can't imagine my nieces dealing with it.
I agree - I wouldn't be shocked if they got married either - not at all and I wouldn't be shocked if we see them at Marcus' gig coming up. I think we will start to see them coming out together again now that she faced the public. I wonder if she left NYC already - she is a ninja for sure, hell they both are.

That would be great if they attended Marcus show together I'd be satisfied with just some good tweets from fans . Could you imagine if K did get pregnant I think Rob would be one of those over protective waiting hand and foot type of guy and a great hands on Dad....it makes me smile thinking of it
Maybe now we will see K out an about some in LA now that she has done some appearances. Hope they find them a new place to live soon, so sad they have to sale their home.

@Pam - sad yes because people invaded their space but it is really too accessible - how sad to have to find a house based on private roads and gated communities to allow people to have a private life. They will find a way to hide the purchase this time from everyone. I want to see them just cause I miss their bright smiles they have for each other but part of me wants to not see them so they can live a little without eyes on them. I wonder if the stalkers will be at Marcus's show - my bets are at least one will be and telling his every move - she is as bad if not worse then the paps *cough cough * restraining order someone. I have a feeling we will be playing where in the world is the ninja couple for a little while either way.
