Rob and Kristen- Whispers

Kristen: I Love You

Rob: I Love You, too

Kristen: Prove it. Scream it to the world!

Rob: *Whispers in ear*  I Love You.

Kristen: Why did you whisper it to me?

Rob: Because You are my World.

Hello everyone

Just returned from celebrating my Grandmothers 86 Bday.

Seen the list of music on the soundtrack and can't wrap my mind around NR and her husband, God we will never hear the end of that during promo.

@Ginger
Has Rob and Kristen been out again after SoHo siting?
It's the only one I heard about.
That's gross about Hulk doing a sex tape, my hubby and son are wrestling watchers and he told me it was on the Internet that he had a sex tape out and I thought to myself who wants to look at an old bald guys junk...GROSS...sorry you had to see that. LOL

Looks like ticket sales for BD2 are doing great :-)
I wish K was going with R to AUS. I'm sooooo looking forward to seeing them together.

Isn't it strange how certain male physic turns us on. Mine is Rob Pattinson. Some women want muscles; some want none at all. Both of my husband's were very much the shape of Rob. I didn't realize this until I showed my mom a pic of Edward in his black jacket and jeans with white t-shirt and she commented how much he looked like my first husband. Just goes to show ya!

@Tuff is your twitter the same as your name on here ?

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Pam - yup - Roosevelt hotel with friends Monday bowling.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Tuff - My "thing" is a persons eyes. Most attractive feature I can think of.

If Rob doesn't do 50 Shades of Grey, my vote goes to Wes Bentley. He was in American Beauty and now in the Hunger Games. He recently had photo shoot in Flaunt. Check him out.

@Ginger - His 'Something Mental' show kept me laughing for days. I'm sure you could find parts of it on youtube. It was a Comedy Central special a couple of years ago.
A great sense of humor is my 'thing'.
My husband can still make me laugh!
(The fact that he is 6'1" with dark hair and green eyes certainly didn't hurt, either!)
R/K were seen Monday bowling? Was this on twitter?

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Loui - they had 3 different people post it - 1 was on instagram, 2 were on a website/blog. None no each other but said the same thing but it has been all over twitter since yesterday - which is where I saw it - since I don't so tumbler/instagram or know anything about the website

Unknown said...

@Ginger - I'm really happy to hear that they may be getting back to some semblance of 'normal' for themselves. I know that the tough times only make the fun times that much sweeter. After what they have been through they deserve a fuck-ton of fun and sweet times.
Off to bed now, another 4am start. Have a great Friday!

Goodnight to all in Roseland, hoping you all have blessed days and/or dreams depending on where you are in the world!

The hotel has a bowling alley in it? I bet that is a great place to stay. Did someone take an instagram of R&K that night or of the hotel. It's great to hear about them getting out and having fun with friends, they seem to slowly be going to more public places.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Pam - no picture of R/K - it was just a picture of the person who reported it and the lady saying it was in the bar

Ok here is another really funny thing on posters on Facebook - my son and I were laughing out loud at some of this stuff

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Pam - grr let me try this a little better - the lady who put it on her instagram wrote she saw them but the picture was of her and a friend in the bar at the same hotel

PamH said...

I wonder who the better bowler is ? I bet they are fun to watch and maybe just a little competitive.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Pam - LOL Not sure but it sounded like they had fun and people let them be which was really awesome. I hope once Twilight is over they get their freedom back and get to breathe.

OK night guys - my eyes are telling me it is time to get sleep tonight

Checking in as usual. Seeing that everyone is calm and curious, getting excited for promo.

I honor all compliments sent my way, (Loui and Oneheart!).

Will play BD musical selections, as they appear (if posted on Youtube). We'll see which songs shine brightly in the end.

Wine time. BBL.

Pickled garlic won't work, luv. The power is released in the cutting and chewing part.

Chop up fresh, chew a couple pieces, swallow the rest on a spoon along with water. Not bad and makes a huge difference. (Don't have to chew any if you don't want to)

Well, it's shinin' brightly
It's lookin' pretty right
From the early morning
Till real real late at night

It's lookin'pretty good today
The dark clouds are rollin' away
Oh and it's shinin' brightly
And I think it's gonna be okay

Well, it's startin' to feet good again
You and me
Startin'to feel real good lady
Just the way it used to be

Futures lookin' good at last
Rough times are all in the post
Oh and it's shinin' brightly
And I think it's gonna last
I think it's gonna last
Oh yeah

Well, it's shinin' brightly
I don't think there's too much doubt
This time baby
I think we got it all worked out

Lookin' pretty good today
The dark clouds are rollin' away
And it's shinin' brightly
I think we're on our way
Its a nice change
Feeling pretty good at last

Rough times are all in the post
Oh, and it's shinin' brightly
I think it's gonna last
Oh, it's gonna be okay
Okay

Anyone Who Tries Is Special

Sing a Song

Earth Wind & Fire:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBpsOu8jyU8

When you feel down and out
Sing a song
It'll make your day

Here's a time to shout
Sing a song
It'll make a way

Sometimes it's hard to care
Sing a song, it'll make your day
A smile so hard to bear
Sing a song, it'll make a way

Sing a song
Sing a song

Bring your heart to believing
Sing a song, it'll make your day
Life ain't about no retrieving

Bring your heart to believing
Sing a song, it'll make your day
Life ain't about no retrieving
Sing a song, it'll make a way

Give yourself what you need
Sing a song, it'll make your day
Smile, smile smile and believe
Sing a song, it'll make a way

Oh god yuch Hulk Hogan? Definitely not my fantasy man that's for sure. Body builder typos, not my thing, I prefer lean and mean like a nice swimmer's body. I love watching the Olympics, haha.
Like you Ginger I fall for eyes and smiles, the look in certain eyes can make me melt or when they have a cheeky sexy smirk. Combo of them two has me drooling. If I was a bit younger Rob would tick all the boxes but Viggo Mortensen would do me fine (no pun intended). Pitt isn't bad either. Russell Crowe (Gladiator here I come) had me going too also cause I have a weakness for Kiwi's/ Aussie's.
Phhh glad it's a slow day in work, sitting here fantasizing about men in skirts and swords.

Good Morning, Roseland!

It's a Happy Friday, indeed! I'm going to see Pitch Perfect with one of my teacher friends. (She's my daughter's age -I only hang out with the youngsters at work - keeps me young!). Wanted to wait and go with my daughter when I see her in a couple of weeks - but I'm too impatient! I'm already obsessed with the soundtrack...

Speaking of soundtracks...I'm SUPER excited about the BD2 st! Feist is one of my very faves (first song I ever downloaded to my iPod was My Moon My Man), and I love James Vincent McMorrow. St. Vincent - YES! Ellie Goulding - double YES! And Jack Morrisey (LOVE him!) says we're going to LOVE the new A Thousand Years track.

I'll admit I furrowed my brow over NR and Paul McDonald on the soundtrack, but only because I'm not familiar with his music. I stopped watching Idol after Fantasia won (not because I didn't like her, I just lost interest). Who knows, I might love it.

tufenuff - I really liked what you said about SM -
"Renewed interest in reading.
Believing in forever love.
Kristen and Rob love.
Discovering Muse.
Listening to Rob sign.
Discovering tons of new music.
Being excited!"
I agree!

Pam - congrats to you your Grandmother. My mom would be 86 now - I miss her; stay close to her!
Loui - my #1 aspect in a man is a sense of humor, also. I HAVE to be able to laugh - a lot!

DK! Loving the Earth, Wind, & Fire! Brings back some college memories - you always know just what to play!

Like Annie it's @ 60/70 here. We usually don't see
snow til mid to late Nov.

HI ROSELAND!!!

I've had a couple of "pity parties" this morning dealing with my plumbing issues. I thought I was going to be able to put the house back in order and determined that the carpet & padding need to dry more :( Am feeling better now but still frustrated. I know, I know that things could be a lot worse... as I said, it was a pity party, we women are entitled to have them "as needed."

GINGER -- SNOW!!! Time to get out the skis, LOL, though I probably won't get to ski until 3rd week in December. We usually have some snow by the end of October.

So, I have no idea what's going on in the RK world today, I hope that there are no "bad rumors" circulating but guess it's inevitable. That doesn't stop us from Twirling, though, right???

LIZ IN LALA LAND...

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Annie/Pam - yup snoooow. We usually get it around this time but the quick temp drops have been giving me killer headaches so I hope we stop going from 80 one day and then 40 the next.

@Liz - really has been quiet - I just hear peoples expectation for something "epic" this weekend but cynical me has none. To many super fans going to see Marcus (can't stop the stalking behavior now can we) so I would be shocked (pleasantly) to see Kristen there.

PamH said...

@ginger
Were is Marcus performing at? Just seen that TS and SM are in NY right now. I'm like you I can't see K going where people might be able to take photos of them and be a bunch of R followers there.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Pam - in Hollywood tomorrow night

PamH said...

Ginger
I can see Rob going with some guy pals but probably not Kristen. I think we will be waiting until their first together promo to see them.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Pam - I agree and I believe that is by both their choices - It would turn into a 3 ring circus that neither want but who knows. I think the best controlled situation is the premiere just because the paps and stupid people that want to control a situation they have no control over.

Annie said...

Don't envy us too much with the sunny, warm temperatures today and tomorrow because by tomorrow night, the temperatures will be in the mid 40's and the high on Sunday only around 55 degrees.

At some point Robert and Kristen will be seen together enjoying a concert as they did before, why not their friend's concert?
I say fuck the voyeuristical assholes who are sure to be present.

In the end Rob and Kristen will handle things their way...........As it should be.

DreakerKind, ok, i just chewed and swallowed 2 cloves of chopped garlic. I let out a few strong coughs immediately afterwards. Thank you:) Reminds me of the time before my husband and I started dating and when I couldn't stop coughing, he gave me garlic pills.

Topaz, I can smell you all the way over here lol ;)

LizzieD said...

Ginger & PamH & Holy -- I'm not optimistic that R&K will show up together at the concert... I believe it'll be the premiere or other promo before we see them together. R has always been very protective and I believe he would "encourage" this along with their families and bodyguards.

But what do I know? They've always given us surprises in the past.

Kami said...

Topaz I can't smell you because I took DK's advice and chewed the garlic too, and I feel better too...I'm sure my husband was thrilled lol.

I think Rob and Kristen should do whatever it is that makes them happy and not give a damn what the world thinks.

Ok off to brush my teeth again...the dog is giving me funny looks.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Liz - easier to leave the expectations at the door on this one - but I also didn't believe SoHo at 1st either until more people reported it. Either way doesn't change anything in my eye's - look at what they are doing to the LA premier - their safety should always be 1st and fans expectations last. I think they are slowly letting people see them together to ease the troubled minds of the non's which is probably a wise idea but not for their sake but so they back the hell off Kristen. He does seem very protective over her

Anonymous said...

Ali mac, Kami, it's too bad i have to swallow it. I wish it was possible to just have the garlic lodged in my throat to fight the virus, but then I'd probably have trouble breathing.

aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!

Unknown said...

Out of curiosity. Rob's interview with the Greek(?) reporter at Cannes seems to imply that he is working on writing something so that they (R&K) can work together again, but that "it will be difficult and it will have to be far ahead in the future because many people will not like it". What do you think the content will be about if Rob thinks 'many people will not like it'. Would they be adversaries or lovers? I am extremely interested in what Rob considers a conflict for people when they view R & K together, professionally or personally. Any thoughts Roseland?

Anonymous said...

Loui White, I think they will be adversaries. Well, at least that is something more challenging, don't you think? I look forward to any projects that R and K will work together in. I really cannot wait.

Maybe she will play an assassin out to kill him, or maybe he will play a pyschopath out to have her killed, or maybe they will play two characters that really really hate each other, hahahahah. :)

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Loui - my guess would be context - more of a thinking gritty movie - maybe a Bonnie and Clyde type of thing where they are the bad guys

Anonymous said...

Ginger, oh my god, i can so see them as Bonnie and Clyde, but the ending is so sad, they both end up shot to death.

You might be right, something really gritty, but i really hope it's not a gangster movie, i am so tired out gangster movies.

Holy said...

Incubus - Drive

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgT9zGkiLig

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Topaz - yeah not so gangster but like criminal master minds

PamH said...

Man there are so many possibilities of what genre they should do together. I could picture the B&C thing too or maybe they could be Assassins (Mr.&Mrs.Smith) or young serial killers, romantic comedy, cops... etc....it would be impossible to figure out what R has come up with for them to do together?

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Pam - maybe a movie where the both sing or portray singers since they are so into music. He hasn't said any hints that I know of

PamH said...

Ginger
Yes that would be great :-) I would love to see them sing and play music together, I bet between them they have probably written a ton of songs.
Of all the times he's mentioned working on soothing for them he's never mention a single hint or no one has really tried to get a clue from him about what he's writing.
Maybe by the time he's done filming all the movies he has lined up he'll be finished with it and they can work together then, who in there right mind wouldn't pick up anything they do together...it's money in the bank.

Oneheart said...

Ginger did I read right..SNOW..OMG I hate snow. Sorry to all the snow fans. I'm like Bella I don't like any cold wet thing. LOL It's pretty but even that can't change my mind. We ususally start getting snow in December. Yuck.

I think they would be good as Bonnie and Clyde also. Also Rob as James Bond and Kristen as a Bond girl. Wow!!! I'm looking forward to anything that they are in together. Their chemistry is not only great off the screen but on as well, so they would be dynamic in anything.

I would be happy if they could do a romance movie, an action pack one, or a comedy. I'm not choosy I will take anything as long as they both are in it.

LOL Topaz and Kami you aren't going to have to worry about vampires that's for sure. Hope it works and it sounds like it is.

DK loving the songs. Thanks for the email with all the helpful advice. Hugs.

Unknown said...

I was intrigued with the fact that he thought many people would not like it. I can't imagine that there are that many scenarios that people would not like to see them in.
They are both so talented, and their chemistry together is hard to resist. I would love to see them allowing their natural chemistry and humor to be the driving force behind any characters that they embody.
Based on their interviews together, they play off of each other very well. Instinct and an almost identical reaction to questions seems to come quite naturally to them. I really hope we see their humor in whatever they do, they are too much fun to watch when they let that shine through.
Off to bed now, another 4am start.
Night-night, Roseland!

I live in the North until I was in my early twenties. I loved it as a child; hated it as an adult who had to re-shovel the driveway in order to get to work after a f#$king snowplow came through while I was sleeping! I have lived in the South for many years and have never regretted moving. I am happy for those who love the day-to-day snow days, but it's not for me!

Just celebrated my mom's 87th birthday and she's doing great. I hope I inheirted her genes for living long and being healthy.

Does anyone feel like I do so close to the BD2 movie? I start thinking about Rob and Kristen and feel my chest tighten in anticipation. I hope they will be
seen together (with fan pic) before movie. I know I shouldn't want this; I tell myself not to want this; but I miss seeing them together so badly. No paps pics; just a fan pic would be sooo nice. Ok, now the yelling can start...

so i just came back home from dining with my sister tonight. She couldn't stand my garlic breath by the way. SHe said, "why do you smell like your husband all of a sudden?" I replied, "Oh, I chewed and swallowed some garlic to suppress my cough." She said, "Well, stop burping and please breathe the other way and don't touch my car with your bare hands please."

I love garlic, by the way. I use it in almost all my cooking.

Oneheart said...

Topaz I love garlic too.

Have you ever tried putting Vicks Vapor Rub on the bottom of your feet and then putting socks on when you go to bed. It works. I had a bad cough a few years ago and I laughed everytime someone suggested this and finally I decided to do it and I wasn't laughing the next morning..it worked.

Anonymous said...

tufenuff55, i think it is in your genes to live that long.

on my mother's side, my grandfather died from liver cancer at the age of 72. My grandmother passed away last year at the age of 79 from lung disease and other various health problems.

I never met my grandmother from my dad's side, she died when my father was 7 or 8 years old. My biological grandfather is still alive. I met him for the first time a few months ago. He looks just like my father, and I even saw a resemblance between him and me since I myself look like my father. It was just for a few minutes and it was so bizarre.

Anyway, I spend as much time as I can with my mother as you never know when they will be gone from you.

Anonymous said...

Oneheart, LOL, hahahahahahah:))

I will think about doing that before I go to bed tonight, but you know, I don't like anything greasy underneath my feet, and I esp. hate to wear socks to bed, but I will think about it. Thank you:))

Oneheart said...

Topaz my mom was 59 and my dad was 63 when they passed away. So it always fills my heart with joy when I hear others talk about their parents when they are in their eighties or older. I was blessed to have them in my life as long as I did because many aren't even granted that much time. That is why it is so important to cherish each day.

On to happier things...I'm really getting excited for BD part 2. Standing in line waiting to go in is just as much fun as seeing the movie. You see it all while waiting in line...some dressed as if they are going to a premiere and some as if they are going to bed in their PJ's.

Last year an elderly woman probably around her early 70's had a t-shirt on that said I was bit by Edward Cullen and I liked it. The image of Edward biting that lady still makes me cringe. LOL Several had on the same t-shirt that she was with, so I figure they had them made. It's still sweet to see that the Twilight Saga has so many different age groups who support it.

So according to tweets on Robsten Dreams Rob is in NY at an IFC films dinner. Maybe he will meet up with Tom . I guess he won't be at Marcus show either.

Anonymous said...

Hey PamH,

according to tweets, Tom S. was also with him at that dinner, and they both left together. If anything, he is networking, in my opinion. I am not in the business, but probably in this business, if you don't network, you will not last long in the business. So good for him and Tom. As for K, I think she's already established credibility in indie film. For her next project, I would like to see her play a more happier funny character because she only tends to go for darker roles.

Anonymous said...

I think Rob should do a comedy.

I think K should take a year off of film, and explore other options. She can still keep acting, I'm just saying she shouldn't limit her options. But of course, she can do whatever she wants.

Good Morning ROSELAND

I came home last night....home alone again.....and OD'd on Dark Shadows and then I'm trying to finish reading Penny Marshall's book called My Mother was Nuts....I've got about 50 pages left...I want desperately to get started reading the new book The Killing of Kennedy....

Penny's book is very insightful for those interested in how actors hang out with each other....networking as and how movies and casts are assembled for a project and the "process" of filming...She was an actress for 8 years on a show called Laverne and Shirley...ithe characters were first introduced on Happy Days

She has directed many movies...BIG, THE PREACHERS WIFE,RENAISSANCE MAN, and In a LEGAUE of THEIR OWN...just to name a few...she has worked with or partied with( haha) every celebrity you can think of from John Belushi to Carrie Fisher and everyone in between...

All this to say, I can see R and K working together. It will come when the time is right.

Have a Good Day All and I hope everyone that has been sick this week is feeling much better....my favorite mouthwash is from Toms, it's called Wicked Fresh!!!!!! :-)

Hey Roseland!
Happy Saturday! Spent my day craft/antique fair-ing. Got a couple of Fall decor things and Christmas gifts. Pretty fun - but got too hot.

And all the snow talk! I like snow for a couple of days. Growing up in Southeast Texas, and living in Florida for a while - snow more than once a decade was an eye-opener. A couple of years ago, we had 10 days off from school for snow. Not because it snowed the whole time - but because ATL wasn't prepared to service the roads.
Anyway - like it for a couple of days - then I'm ready for it to disappear (LOL Oneheart!).

Pam - you're lucky to live next door to your Grandmother! I grew up in the same town as my Grandma, and saw her every day. When we (Sox and my daughter and I) moved to Florida and then to Georgia, my mom followed us and lived in an apartment nearby, so my daughter saw her all the time, too. My dad died when he was 64 and I was 25, so I can identify with Oneheart in that respect, as well.

Have you seen this?

James Vincent McMorrow - "We Are Ghosts". I know he has a song titled "Ghosts" on the BD2 soundtrack. Could it be the same song? Anyone know?

Topaz I'm lucky because if my husband is the only one besides the dog I am around right now, and my hubby is smart enough to keep his mouth shut, because he's the one who gave me this mess and he knows that in my present mood I might decide to shove a clove of garlic down his throat or up something else just for the pleasure of making him suffer. LOL I love the man but if I sneeze he's running around saying "stay back I can't afford to get sick" and he never does..he's sick and he has NO problem sharing his germs with me and staying back....please he wants hugs. I may never forgive him for this.

Feel better to everyone who is sick.

Hi everyone. Kami your husband sounds like mine. It seems if he gets sick that is when he constantly wants to hug or kiss. I am constantly saying stay back, keep it I don't want it. Then he'll slip upon me and either kiss me or give me a big hug.

I think he thinks the only way he can get better is to give it to someone (ME). I have learned recently that when he's sick, if I get out the Lysol and spray everywhere he goes it acts as a repellant to keep him away. LOL

LIVIN' ON A PRAYER
BY: BON JOVI

Tommy used to work on the docks
The Union went on strike
He's down on his luck, it's tough, so tough

Gina works the diner all day
Working for her man, she brings home her pay for love

She brings home her pay for love

You know we've got to hold on to what we've got

It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not

We've got each other and that's a lot for love, for love

Woah, we're half way there, woah, livin' on a prayer

Won't you take my hand and we'll make it, I swear

Woah, livin' on a prayer

Tommy's got his six string in hock

Now he's holding in

What he used to make talk, so tough

He'd used to make it talk, it so tough

Gina dreams of running away

When she cries every night

Tommy whispers, it's okay, it's okay, baby it's okay

Say we've got to hold on to what we've got

It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not

We've got each other and that's a lot, for love, just give it a shot

Woah, we're half way there, woah, livin' on a prayer

Take my hand and we'll make it, I swear

Woah, livin' on a prayer, livin' on a prayer

We've got to hold on ready or not

You live for the fight when it's all that you've got

Woah, we're half way there, livin' on a prayer

Take my hand and we'll make it, I swear

Woah, livin' on a prayer

Take my hand, we'll make it, I swear

Take my hand, I'll take your hand

POUR SOME SUGAR ON ME
BY: DEF LEPPARD

Step inside, walk this way
You and me babe, hey hey!

Love is like a bomb, baby, c'mon get it on
Livin' like a lover with a radar phone
Lookin' like a tramp, like a video vamp
Demolition woman, can I be your man?
(Your man, hey, hey!)

Razzle 'n' a dazzle 'n' a flash a little light
Television lover, baby, go all night
Sometime, anytime, sugar me sweet
Little miss innocent sugar me, yeah

Come on! Take a bottle, shake it up
Break the bubble, break it up

Pour some sugar on me, ooh, in the name of love
Pour some sugar on me, c'mon fire me up
Pour your sugar on me, I can't get enough
I'm hot, sticky sweet from my head to my feet, yeah

Listen, red light, yellow light, green light, go
Crazy little woman in a one man show
Mirror queen, mannequin, rhythm of love
Sweet dream, saccharine, loosen up
(Loosen up)
I loosen up

You gotta squeeze a little, squeeze a little, tease a little more
Easy operator come a-knockin' on my door

Sometime, anytime, sugar me sweet
Little miss innocent sugar me, yeah yeah
Give a little more

Take a bottle, shake it up
Break the bubble, break it up

Pour some sugar on me, ooh, in the name of love
Pour some sugar on me, c'mon fire me up
Pour your sugar on me, oh, I can't get enough
I'm hot, sticky sweet from my head to my feet, yeah

You got the peaches, I got the cream
Sweet to taste, saccharine
'Cause I'm hot, so hot, sticky sweet
(Hot!)
From my head, my head to my feet
(Head!)
Do you take sugar, one lump or two?

Take a bottle, take a bottle
Shake it up, shake it up
Break the bubble, break it up
Break it up

Pour some sugar on me, ooh, in the name of love
Pour some sugar on me, c'mon fire me up
Pour your sugar on me, oh, I can't get enough
Pour some sugar on me, oh, in the name of love

Pour some sugar on me, get it, come get it
Pour your sugar on me, ooh
Pour some sugar on me, yeah

YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG
BY: AC/DC

She was a fast machine
She kept her motor clean
She was the best damn woman I had ever seen
[... that I, ever seen]

She had the sightless eyes
Telling me no lies
Knockin' me out with those American thighs
Taking more than her share
Had me fighting for air
She told me to come but I was already there
'Cause the walls start shaking
The earth was quaking
My mind was aching
And we were making it and you -

CHORUS:

Shook me all night long
Yeah you shook me all night long

Working double time
On the seduction line
She was one of a kind, she's just mine all mine
She wanted no applause
[Taking no applause]
Just another course
Made a meal out of me and came back for more
Had to cool me down
To take another round
Now I'm back in the ring to take another swing
'Cause the walls were shaking
The earth was quaking
My mind was aching
And we were making it and you -

CHORUS

And knocked me out and then you
Shook me all night long
You had me shakin' and you
Shook me all night long
Yeah you shook me
Well you took me
You reall took me and you
Shook me all night long
Ooooh you
Shook me all night long
Yeah, yeah, you
Shook me all night long
Your really took me and you
Yeah you shook me, yeah you shook me
All night long

SHE WORKDS HARD FOR THE MONEY
BY: DONNA SUMMERS

She works hard for the money. So hard for it, honey.
She works hard for the money. So you better treat her right.

Onetta here in the corner stand and wonders where she is.
And it's strange to her, some people seem to have everything.
9 am on the hour hand and she's waiting for the bell.
And she's looking real pretty. She's waiting for her clientele.

She works hard for the money. So hard for it, honey.
She works hard for the money. So you better treat her right.

Twentyeight years have come and gone.
And she's seen a lot of tears
of the ones who come in. They really seem to need her there.
It's a sacrifice working day to day. For little money just tips for pay.
But it's worth it all just to hear them say that they care.

She works hard for the money. So hard for it, honey.
She works hard for the money. So you better treat her right.

She already knows she's seen her bad times.
She already knows these are the good times.
She'll never sell out, she never will, not for a dollar bill.
She works haaaaard.........

She works hard for the money. So hard for it, honey.
She works hard for the money. So hard for it honey.

Stay away from my window
Stay away from my back door too
Disconnect the telephone line
Relax baby and draw that blind

Kick off your shoes and sit right down
Loosen off that pretty French gown
Let me pour you a good long drink
Ooh baby don't you hesitate cause

Tonights the night
It's gonna be alright
Cause I love you girl
Ain't nobody gonna stop us now

C'mon angel my hearts on fire
Don't deny your man's desire
You'd be a fool to stop this tide
Spread your wings and let me come inside

Tonights the night
It's gonna be alright
Cause I love you girl
Ain't nobody gonna stop us now

Don't say a word my virgin child
Just let your inhibitions run wild
The secret is about to unfold
Upstairs before the night's too old

Tonights the night
It's gonna be alright
Cause I love you woman
Ain't nobody gonna stop us now

LEGS
BY: ZZ TOP

She's got legs, she knows how to use them
She never begs, she knows how to choose them
She's holdin' legs, wonderin' how to feel them
Would you get behind them if you could only find them?

She's my baby, she's my baby

Yeah, it's alright, oh yeah

She's got hair down to her fanny

She's kinda jet set, try undo her panties

Every time she's dancin' she knows what to do

Everybody wants to see, to see if she can use it

She's so fine, she's all mine

Girl, you got it right

She's got legs, she knows how to use them

She never begs, she knows how to choose them

She's got a dime, all of the time

Stays out at night, movin' through time

Oh, I want her, sure, I got to have her

The girl is alright, she's alright

A little slower pace song...beautiful words.

Jack Johnson
Better Together

There's no combination of words
I could put on the back of a postcard
No song that I could sing
But I can try for your heart,
our dreams, and they are made out of real things
like a shoebox of photographs
with sepia-toned loving
Love is the answer
at least for most of the questions in my heart, like
Why are we here? And where do we go?
And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy and
sometimes life can be deceiving
I'll tell you one thing, it's always better when we're together

Mmmm, It's always better when we're together
Yeah we'll look at the stars and we're together
Well, it's always better when we're together
Yeah it's always better when we're together

And all of these moments
just might find their way into my dreams tonight,
But I know that theyll be gone
when the morning light sings
and brings new things
for tomorrow night you see
that theyll be gone too,
too many things I have to do
But if all of these dreams might find their way
into my day to day scene
I'd be under the impression
i was somewhere in between
With only two,
Just me and you,
Not so many things we got to do
or places we got to be
We'll sit beneath the mango tree, now,

Yeah It's always better when we're together
Mmmm, we're somewhere in between together
Well, it's always better when we're together
Yeah, it's always better when we're together

mmmmmmm

I believe in memories
they look so, so pretty when I sleep
Hey now, and when I wake up,
you look so pretty sleeping next to me
But there is not enough time,
There is no, no song I could sing
and there is no combination of words I could say
but I will still tell you one thing
We're Better together

KISS ME
BY: ED SHEENAN

Settle down with me
Cover me up
Cuddle me in

Lie down with me
And hold me in your arms

And your heart's against my chest, your lips pressed in my neck
I'm falling for your eyes, but they don't know me yet
And with a feeling I'll forget, I'm in love now

Kiss me like you wanna be loved
You wanna be loved
You wanna be loved
This feels like falling in love
Falling in love
We're falling in love

Settle down with me
And I'll be your safety
You'll be my lady

I was made to keep your body warm
But I'm cold as the wind blows so hold me in your arms

Oh no
My heart's against your chest, your lips pressed in my neck
I'm falling for your eyes, but they don't know me yet
And with this feeling I'll forget, I'm in love now

Kiss me like you wanna be loved
You wanna be loved
You wanna be loved
This feels like falling in love
Falling in love
We're falling in love

Yeah I've been feeling everything
From hate to love
From love to lust
From lust to truth
I guess that's how I know you
So I hold you close to help you give it up

So kiss me like you wanna be loved
You wanna be loved
You wanna be loved
This feels like falling in love
Falling in love
We're falling in love

Kiss me like you wanna be loved
You wanna be loved
You wanna be loved
This feels like falling in love
Falling in love
We're falling in love

Afternoon Ladies !!

We had more snow yesterday which meant a full day of packing summer clothes away and bringing out the winter stuff before going to my sisters GF's derby match - she has the best name ever (Betty White-Knuckles). No to mention my sister kept telling me I had to meet her friend who showed up last night and ladies and gents - that man could make a 4 yr old blush - gorgeous - the whole package but a guy like that is bad for ones health - gah. He kept grabbing my hand and I was like yeah you are a little too much of a smooth talker for me.

@Pam - it is like a game of Waldo - that girl has ninja skills like no other. Someone said they saw her in Jersey before Rob was seen in NY but who knows - I think they can get around without being seen unless they want to. I saw the pictures of him with the drill carving his name - was funny

PamH said...

@ginger
The whole package could be fun as long as he's not to touchy feely in the creepy kinda way.
NJ seems like a odd place for K to be but it is near NY so who knows, maybe they are hanging out with T and S , or they could already be back in LA ? I love how they are managing to fly without people knowing about it.

Rob's interview with Star Club Magazine. Last question (so funny, Rob):

"The big question! If you were to become a dad tomorrow, would you prefer to have a girl or a boy first?
I think that I'd have a better understanding with a boy. Girls are hard to understand. The instruction manual that comes with them is 800 pages long and written in Chinese! And if you know how to read it, you realise that you're still missing 32 more chapters that are essential and you have to improvise. Whereas with a boy, it's easy. Sports, tv, a video game, a big bowl of ...., some Coke and he's happy *laughs*!"

LizzieD said...

tuf -- I saw this also and thought it was a really cute answer. Actually, sounds like he's given it a lot of thought!!!

Maybe Tom can change his mind on this. And I bet baby Marlowe will make him see the delights of Daddy and Daughter bonds.

Hi everyone...wow it's cool here tonight the temperature is around 43 degrees. It seems we left Summer and went straight to winter. LOL

Hope you all have had a great weekend. I just finished Sylvia Day's new book Reflected in You the sequel to Bared to You. Have any of you read that series..I won't give nothing away but wow this last one keeps you on edge. Lots of up and down moments. Can't wait till Entwined by You comes out.

The story of Gideon and Eva would make a good movie. Parts remind you of Fifty Shades but Gideon has a little rougher edge to him than Fifty does.

Before I forget Litmom that soup sounds so good. Send some my way. LOL

Oneheart said...

I see some of you mentioning Baby Marlowe. That is one beautiful baby. Love her dark hair and she has so much of it. She's definitely a cutie.

LizzieD said...

ONEHEART -- Thanks for the tip on the Sylvia Day books, I put them on my Amazon Wish List!!! Maybe I'll buy them for myself for Christmas, LOL. I usually try to treat myself and read something "special" around New Years.

As for R's remarks about having a boy, I believe he'd be very happy with either one, only would want it healthy. I found his remarks about understanding women very inciteful... remembering he has two sisters.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Liz - that is because women are complex. Something I adore one day makes me rage the next - well except chocolate

Litmom said...

I ditto Oneheart's suggestion. Bared to You was amazing. I have Reflected in You now, but didn't start it this weekend like I had planned. Too busy reading fanfic. ( sheepish grin)

Oneheart, why don't you and Mr. O just head on over. It's goo-od.

Oneheart said...

Liz you will love them. Have you read Gabriel's Inferno and Gabriel's Rapture by Sylvain Reynard...they're fanfics that have been made into books. I'm sure you have heard of them or read them already.

I've been hinting to my Sister in laws to get me Amazon gift cards for my Kindle..I hope they listen. I don't mean to be mean and ungrateful but they have no idea about what to get when it comes to buying for me. I know it isn't about what you get but really they are clueless.

I think they hit up every redneck flea market in our area...I've gotten a Dale Earnhardt Phone shaped like his race car, a light up igloo, and a leopard snuggie, and a pair of earrings made from deer antlers, and several moo moo tops...

That is why I want gift cards..LOL

Oneheart said...

Litmom I'll go wake Mr. O up and we'll head on down. I should be there in about 6 or 7 hours. LMAO Keep the soup hot.

Oneheart said...

Ginger what is it about Choclate. Love it no matter if I'm in a good mood or a bad one...it always puts a smile on my face.

Not Saying Goodbye To Twilight

I'll Never Say Goodbye

Barbra Streisand:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgN6_aDkoCc

Say "Goodbye?"
Why, I can barely say "Good night"
If I can hardly take my eyes from yours,
How far can I go?

Walk away?
The thought would never cross my mind
I couldn't turn my back on Spring or Fall,
Your smile, least of all!

When I say "Always,"
I mean "Forever"
I trust tomorrow as much as today
I'm not afraid to say "I love you,"
And I promise you I'll never say
"Goodbye"

We're dancers on a crowded floor
While other dancers live from song to song,
Our music goes on
On and on
And if I never leave your arms,
I really will have traveled ev'rywhere,
For my world is there

When I say "Always,"
I mean "Forever"
I trust tomorrow as much as today
I'm not afraid to say "I love you,"
And I promise you I'll never say
"Goodbye"

If I could barely say goodnight
How could I ever say
Goodbye

This could be the very minute
I'm aware I'm alive
All these places feel like home

With a name I'd never chosen
I can make my first steps
As a child of 25

This is the straw, final straw
In the roof of my mouth
As I lie to you

Just because I'm sorry
Doesn't mean
I didn't enjoy it
At the time

You're the only thing that I love
It scares me more every day
On my knees
I think clearer

Goodness knows I saw it coming
Or at least I'll claim I did
But in truth
I'm lost for words

What have I done?
It's too late for that
What have I become?
Truth is nothing yet

A simple mistake
Starts the hardest time
I promise I'll do anything
You ask this time

@Ginger
I missed you, too, but I do read your comments along with everyone's everyday, only was out with friends and family all weekend.

@Oneheart
Great tunes you've been playing!

Cheers to Rose, Smitty, Gruff, Syd, Kristen, Rob and Tom!

It's lovely to see fan pics of Rob & Kristen, out with friends and/or family, their lives filled with music. I live life like them except no fan pics!

Heading to dreamland early. Ah, the good life, full of fun.

Missed you,DK! Glad you are out and about like our favorite twosome enjoying life!

Robsten Dreams have fan pic of Kristen last night out with her Dad to see Florence and the Machine in LA. Then the paps pics. Yes, I looked at them (please forgive) because I missed seeing her. She looked goregous and was wearing ring and necklace.

Morning all! Hope you all had a great weekend. Looked at the fan pics of Kristen this morning, dare I say she is glowing, has a nice little tan and is looking healthier. Good signs! Had a bit of fun on Twitter with Twihusband last night he and wife decided to get people to post things they love, and then they were grinning at my timeline, I get so sappy. But you know it lightened up the timelines, got rid of some of the drama for a bit. No need to freak out because Rob isn't with Kristen every second of the day. Good things come to those who wait I say. And it is nice to see Kristen have a daughter/dad night out.
Day off today, have errands to run and groceries to get. Beautiful fall day here. Enjoy!

good morning roseland!
hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!

so, off-topic, i was watching this saturday’s mock debate between o’reilly & stewart online (posted by katy perry no less). i’m not a big fan of o’reilly but he said something really interesting towards the end:

“… you can make a lot of money today being an assassin – you get in and if you’re a hater – on radio, cable, print, internet – you make a lot of money. there are no rules, esp on the internet. they don’t even believe the stuff they say. they just rip you up and get paid a lot of money. they’re phonies and capitalism drives them. there are people who just want to hear hate and so they hear it. and it gets blown up.”

though o’reilly was referring more to politics, it sounded very apt for the “assassins” (the haters and the scumbags that write about it) in this fandom, don’t ya think?

Morning ladies

@Parker - applies to life - negative also seems to resonate longer than happy (at least with a vast majority of people) so the people that get a quick hit get the most attention. Here is the funny thing - if the media just reported that they were fine if they reported anything people would lose interest right because it would just be status quo -all the up in the air and the wishy washy feeds this beast. That is where the money is - people pay to feed their inconsistent feelings.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Tuff - she looked like she had fun with her dad, CJ and other friends - good for her.

You may not like O Reilly.... He doesn't much care either.... Lol... But he is smart and he is not afraid to call it as he sees it!

I just started reading his new book. The Killing of Kennedy.... R and Ks life is BORING. In comparison to JFK. I tell ya :)

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Super - I have always felt so bad for the Kennedy's. The whole family always on display and they have had so many tragedies.

Birdie said...

Parker,
I watched the Rumble and it was very entertaining. I've got to say my thinking is right along Stewart's. Very bright man! For being polar opposites, they are pretty funny together.
By the way, I finally watched Idiocracy. Scary! Haha.

parker said...

@Ginger, i do hope it doesn’t apply to everything in life – to allow negativity to rule. it’s one thing for character assassination in HW cos it’s gossip & never to be taken seriously. but for things that do matter such as decisions that could impact lives and future generations, i hope that the vast majority are listening/analysing and not let negativity overrule logic.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Parker - I think it happens the most when people aren't content in any facet of life. Those insecurities allow people to print stuff in mass media - otherwise why would people even care about gossip (other than morbid curiosity) - we would demand more truths and balance reporting otherwise. Sure we all have our moments but people that tend to look for the happier/brighter things in life are generally - well happy. On the political front - every form of propaganda is meant to cause fear - they fear you in to ignoring facts that should matter the most and pay attention to ones that will less likely effect your day to day life.

so true Ginger. you know, a friend recommended a book to me the other day: “idiot america: how stupidity became a virtue in the land of the free” – i haven’t checked it out yet. i don’t know if i want to. i fear it will be a bit depressing. but from the synopsis, it seems to mirror what you’re saying – that we are being led to focus on the mundane & to believe that it is important so that the truth, the one that matters, will be overlooked.

Hey DK, Hey Roseland!

Hope you're all having a great day.

JMF - I enjoyed TwiHusband's tweets last night, too. Guess I should follow you and I could have smiled at yours. :-)

Loved seeing Kristen out with her daddy and friends last night. THAT made me smile!

DK - miss being here with you - we never seem to be on at the same time.

parker said...

@Super, i’d like o’reilly more if he wasn’t so partisan. he calls it as he sees it but skewed towards one party. i just want to listen for once to someone who is truly bipartisan and calls both sides as they are.

oh, btw, re the DS series, i don’ t have netflix but i just discovered it’s on amazon – well, i think a few of the series, probably not all. and my boyfriend has amazon prime so i’ll be able to watch it! will let you know what i think of it once i’ve had a chance to watch! i have a long list of shows to watch on amazon prime!

parker said...

@Birdie, yes, Idiocracy is funny but scary, isn’t it – you think that would never ever happen & then you look at the absurd fans in this fandom … and then you wish for an alternate universe like that so that all the absurdity can be teleported to that universe :)

i also like watching o’reilly & stewart rumble – they’re hilarious together. they should do it more often.

Parker, I know you weren't directing your comments my way, but I completely agree with you about certain news networks leaning one way or the other. It's not perfect by any means, but that's why I watch CNN. They just piss everyone off equally.

I just can't stand, whether it's in everyday life, political life or Hollywood life, people who are only happy when they are promoting fear, hate, discontent etc. I also hate it when people just blindly believe any kind of clap trap bull that comes out of someone's mouth.
And before anyone wonders if I am talking about anyone in particular I am only talking in reference to politics.

That's good that Kristen went out and had a good time watching the concert with her dad and friends. And Rob was leaving NY heading to LA.So excited with the coming promo's of BD2,almost here guys.

@Ginger-waves.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Holy - waves back :)

@Kami - listening to the political adds are draining - I stay away from network TV as much as I can because of it

parker said...

i like the new BD2 poster. i just saw it on fandango – the ones with the cullens/werewolves facing off with the volturi. i think better than the other two published before. so just out of curiosity, for those going to the midnight screening of BD2, since there is a marathon the entire day leading up to the midnight show, will they ask everyone to leave the theatre after the last movie BD1 to give equal seating chance to those who are only watching BD2?

parker said...

@Kami, i do watch CNN a lot too. i think part of the problem is TMI – there’s so much to filter out there that most people just give up trying to wade through all the BS to get to the good stuff. i wish more people would engage and try to understand but the noise can be very frustrating.

parker said...

oh duh, just thought about it – they probably have special theatres for the marathon/BD2 and separate ones for BD2 only … so never mind :)

HI ROSELAND, HAPPY MONDAY...

Sorry if this offends anyone BUT...

I just saw a report on E News, they mentioned that Kristen had gone out with Papastew, saying "no worries, Rob" and then, they said, and I quote "Kristen's other half, Rob, was spotted in NYC ... "

I believe this is good news that there was nothing said about maybe or if or back together or nothing mentioned about the "incident" ...

If ENews and move on, then maybe there's hope for the rest of the rag mags ...

LIZ IN LALA LAND ...

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Liz - while I don't give them anymore weight than I did when they were reporting the bad crap - all have now said they are together including People. I still dislike them - good or bad - they are really crappy people.

tufenuf55 said...

Actually, ENews lead off their story about Kristen and her dad, by saying, Is Kristen out with an older man? Then said no worries, Rob, this is so false that she was out with her dad. A round-about way of still trying to link her with the "incident" involving an older man. Backhanded slight!

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Tuff - they were not the only one to say some stupid crap like that in their title - been seeing it all day. Anything for a story - they really are just crappy people - not all money is good money

LizzieD said...

Ginger & Tuf -- I think y'all misunderstand what I was excited about ... ANYTHING that is positive in nature from ANY of the media is something to get excited about. Basically, they are all BS including ABC which is my favorite prime broadcast station and GMA is my favorite morning show.

Tuf, you are right about the lead in title .. they always do that "so true, so false" segment. But, they did show Papastew's photo every time they did the lead in ...

Hey, baby steps is the way I'm looking at it.

Remember about a month ago how exciting it was to be in the grocery and NOT see them on the rag mags? And NOT have to hide them, LOL?

I'M TWIRLING ...

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Liz - oh no I get it - any sign of moving on by the media is way better than where they have been. If they wanted readers to even someone come back - the 1st step is to disable their comment sections.

PamH said...

Hello everyone

It is starting to seem like the rag mags are writing about R&K a little less lately, but Hollywooflies drives me crazy with every heading about Rob or Kristen they have to add After Affair to everything....enough already!!!!!!

Looks like both of them have acquired new beanies/hats that they can share.
I loved the photo of K and her Dad and he's holding a piece of paper with his middle finger showing ( like a F U to the papz very subtly ) LOL

tufenuf55 said...

Ginger with a soul...

Yes, you are so right. It doesn't matter if you tell the truth...just add a small sprinkle of truth and the rags make $$$$$.

Liz...no misunderstanding. Just adding my two cents. I support your post 100%!

PamHl...I, too, noticed PapaStew's middle finger. I laughed out loud.

I am just waiting for the time rags don't say something postive about R&K with reference to the "pig". I refuse to click on anything that remotely hints of that type of negativity for our BBG and Rob. Come on November.....

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Liz - I haven't watched the news so the last I heard was yesterday when they thought they found her backpack and water bottle - they had the area blocked off and brought in blood hounds. Does not look good - so sad. I will watch the 10 pm news - I have been trying to avoid political crap.

Roselanders, hail!

Hooray! Positive not negative, is my choice every time.

Drinking French white wine is one of mine right now. Eating pasta salad is too. That's what I can control in my evening, and proud I am of myself.

Very pleased to see Rob & Tom, Kristen and Papa John. The next six weeks will be very exciting.

@Litmom
Here I am but where are you? Time zone differences are always a challenge. XO

@Super
How many times have we been out of the loop with each other these days? Still we're connected like links in a chain, baby.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Pam - what I find ironic is the bible (LOL) of them says they are back together and every single tabloid follows suit but the people who bought the negative either are now bashing the hell out of People or have started bashing the hell out of Rob. Some people need to grow up and get over it. Who cares if they are no longer his fan - they weren't his fans to begin with because it shouldn't stop anyone from supporting their career based on who they choose to share their lives with.

Backpack found 15 miles from her home according to news. I love my country, but there should be a way for our children to be safe. I do believe it has not been safe for our children to walk alone for several years. Not casting blame at all. Mothers and fathers should be able to have their children to live in a safe environment. A lot has to do with how scattered our families are. I remember when I was young, my aunt, uncles grandparents all lived near each other (and this was in a relatively large town) and I walked several blocks to school in the am and back home after school. We walked in groups because we all lived in the same neighborhood. If I was someplace with friends you can be sure my aunts, uncles, etc. were sure to discuss it with my mom. Like, Oh, I saw____________down on West St (for example) with some girls. You can bet that if I wasn't supposed to be there, I caught when I got home. It made me more aware of where to be and where not to be. But to think of a young girl not even being able to walk three blocks (something she did often)without being snatched is a sad statement of our society. I hope God is merciful and she can be found alive and returned to her family. I offer humble prayers to her and her family for a good outcome.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Tuff - it is odd. I don't let my kids walk by themselves because it is such a screwed up world. Westminster is about 45 mins from where I live and that area has changed so much. So many houses up there - how no one saw anything baffles me.

Parker, I completely agree with you. There seems to be an abundance of news shows with people who give their opinions instead of facts. Pontificating pundits drive me nuts. I'm a firm believer in news shows giving people the facts and then allowing the individual to decide which candidate best fits their beliefs. It is exhausting. 4 years ago we lived in West Texas and our local stations were also the stations for parts of New Mexico, which was a swing state, so we had constant ads, by the time it was over with I was ready to pull my hair out.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Tuff - some of the questions people posted on there make me experience second hand embarrassment to the fullest.

LizzieD said...

In 1981, I was living in Charlotte and the 5 year old daughter of my friend was taken from her front yard where she was playing with a 3 year old child. The 3 year old wasn't able to give the police much info, a white van was seen in the area and no other clues.

They found her remains on the outskirts of Charlotte in another county about 3 months later. It was a horrible time, so unbelievable. When I heard it on the news that morning, I had to call my friend to see if it was her daughter because the last name was Smith, so could have easily been someone else, and was devastated when my friend said "it was mine".

A lot of innocence was lost after that. It's a different world than when I was a kid, WAY different.

Hi everyone. I'm not completely caught up with the comments but I wanted to add my two cents on a few of the recent ones. The rags will never ever ever let this go. I believe this because today I saw a headline actually comparing JA's and AJ's engagement rings. Good grief!!! It's ben like 7 or 8 years. That's like a millenium in HW time and they're still beating that dead horse.

Heartbreaking! We need to surround our children and be on the watch, but in our society we make that kind of closeness from strangers, weird. Neighborhood groups could make a huge difference.

Kenzz said...

Liz, what s horrible ending to a tragic story...

DreamerKind said...

@LIZ
Years ago, when I worked in a police agency job, we had a predator hanging around school grounds. No one could catch the man and I took my lunch hours late, so I could drive around to schools observing.

I had no luck and gave up but always believed that if people from the community would be present for recess and before/after school, who would dare to appear? Wish I could have done more..it still wouldn't take that much to change that reality. Police show up after a crime and rarely can prevent it.

My childhood was during yours, Liz, and there were scary peeps all around I recall, even then.
