Rob and Kristen- Burn. Burn. Burn.

1. Rob attended the Arbitrage Luncheon.
Handsome as always.
Rubbing shoulders with Richard Gere...

2. Kristen attends the Governors Awards.
Beautiful as always.
Rubbing shoulders with Oscar.

It's pretty apparent that both
Rob and Kristen are moving up and away
with their careers...
Meeting the right people
Going to the right events...
No limits.

And BTW?
Kristen at the Governors Awards?
Looking all kinds of glamorous and gorgeous...
Hanging out with the elite of Hollywood
Is a big fucking deal.

If you looked at my Twitter Timeline...
People were excited and happy
and thrilled for Kristen.
HAPPY.

But wait a minute...

Do you smell that?
It reeks of burnt bitter foam...

The Lunatic Fringe's biscuits are burning.
Crispy. Fried.
They can't STAND it.

Kristen was at an Academy function!
How could this be?

OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Do you have any idea how many pictures they analyzed?
How many hours they spent on twitter/blogs/forums
just to criticize Kristen?
Then endless obsession with her career
What she says.
What people say about her.
Her wardrobe...
Her boyfriend.

They can't stand that Kristen keeps winning.
They can't stand that everything they predict
will happen to Kristen...
Doesn't.
Ever.
They are NEVER right.
She comes out on top
at every turn...
And it burns.
Oh it burns.

Guess what?

Kristen is still standing.
And Robert is right next to her.
Holding her hand.

Get.
Used.
To.
It.

BD2 is still number one!!!

This post is brought to you by the letter T.

T for TO-GETH-ER
Which we know that is how
Rob and Kristen
ALWAYS
end up.

T for TOTALLY
Which is how completely
Kristen owns her 'haters'

T for Tom Sturridge

Whom I completely adore.
Say no more.
Say no more.

Until next time.

Bye for now

Thanks to everyone who sent me condolances about losing my dog, Prince. I really appreciate it.

The two most frightening movies I've ever seen were The Exorcist and The Shining. I couldn't watch Jack N. in anything else for years until he was in As Good As It Gets.

Hello ladies/gents.

@Katy-Hahahaha,Girl that's a good one."R/K pics in the airport and blurry pic in the grocery really help BD2 success."

@Parker-yep,you're right,Brangelina pics definitely didn't help Killing Me Softly.LOL.

@Ginger-hey,how's the zoo visit today with the kids.

Tuff I feel horrible I didn't see where you lost your dog, I am so sorry. I know how terrible that is. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Now the rags are saying Rob's family still doesn't forgive Kristen; that Thanksgiving was awkward and that is why R&K are spending Christmas apart. Well, I don't know what their plans for Christmas are, but if I remember correctly they did this last year also--spending Christmases with their own families. Yawn...boring!

Evening Ladies

@Holy - i was fun then I let the girls go crazy at the craft store so I am surrounded by craft sets of lip gloss, cupcake soaps, and the most frightening looking beads that I just know I will step o later and cry

Congratulations to Rob and David for making CT10 for Cosmopolis

@Tuff - it sucks to lose a pet - they are family :( Also the gossip will be that - I can only hope Taylor/Harry stuff will take a chunk away from them since they are the talk now. No one in their circle is talking including them so they have to come up with silly and more silly every single time. All the Oscar/Globes talk has them in the spotlight after everything has been status qou.

DK – I’m not sure this singer will be new to you or not, but how about Holy Cole. She’s a jazzy/bluesy kind of singer. She is probably best known (at least here in Canada) for her version of “I can See Clearly Now”. So here’s a couple for you to listen to:

I’m Calling You
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61eg4sAyKSw

I Can See Clearly Now
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtNnoWJJd8o

I’ve also been revisiting some tried and true. There’s a song that Barbra Streisand sings that I’ve always loved called “Answer Me”. She sings it so beautifully and the lyrics are wonderful.

Answer Me

Do you wake up very slowly?
Does it take a while before you smile
Are your dreams like premonitions
Have you lived them through
Some people do

I hope you'll answer me with patient eyes
No hurried words, foolish or wise
Answer me, answer me with soft silent touches
They'll tell me as much as I need to know
Answer me with deep and restful sleeping
And if you dream in sleep
They're yours to keep

No you need not answer me
If we must part
Should someone ask
Who's touched your heart
Perhaps you'll answer me

Huge congratulations to Rob/David C.COSMOPOLIS was named @TIFF_NET top 10.

This is not new, that the mags will invent stories to capture some viewers and readers.I think their insiders are the ninnies who email them sh@t.

Rob been spending Christmas in UK with his family since beginning. We don't know if he's doing it again this year, but he always spend his New Year with Kristen.

PamH said...

Everyone knows Rob and Kristen celebrate X MAS with their families then reunite after to be together into New Years, the tabloids just have to try to keep drama going. When it's tweeted or photoed about them being together, then they will have to make up something about them knowing they'd be together and his family loving and forgiving her AGAIN...never ending cycle

So happy for Rob and David

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Holy - they did - I will take a painful step so they can smile most days:)

I think they are just assuming they won't spend Christmas together because they haven't in the past but hey they didn't spend Thanksgiving together before but did this year. Who knows what they will ever do but whatever they choose it will be their choice and there will be melt downs no mater what that choice is. People are losing the ever loving minds as it is. Fake accounts, fake people, fake tweets - the lengths people are going to at this point to prove some point that is irrelevant and they are just showing how bat shit crazy they are.

I know one thing for certain about plans for Christmas. The only ones who know for certain what is happening, and who they're spending it with, is Rob and Kristen. Any other source who says they know, and I'm talking Nonnies and media...is pulling crap from their butt trying to convince the world it's a rabbit.

Good evening
Glad to hear you had a good day :)

I'm sure just like everyone else Rob and Kristen have had their holiday planed out for a while and only them and their close friends and family really know what those plans are. I'm sure Kristen tries to spend time with both her parents over Christmas. They never miss spending NYE together with friends so it'll be interesting if they make it this year without being caught....wherever they decide to celebrate.

How many besides me was shocked and sickened by the subway incident. All those people but no one tried to help pull him out or something. My heart goes out to his family not only for the lose but because it was put in news papers and video taped....I couldn't imagine that

Vánoce přicházejí (Czech)
Christmas are coming

Karel Gott:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-2Gd9sS1Ao

refrain:
Vánoce, Vánoce přicházejí, zpívejme přátelé,
po roce Vánoce, Vánoce přicházejí, šťastné a veselé.

Christmas, Christmas are coming, sing, my friends,
after a year Christmas, Christmas are coming, happy and merry

1. Proč si děda říct si nedá,
tluče o stůl v předsíni,
a pak běda,marně hledá
kapra pod skříní,

Why is grandpapa determined to hold his own?
He beat to desk in hallway
and then woe! he looking under cupboard
for carp in vain

Naše teta peče léta na Vánoce vánočku,
nereptáme aspoň máme něco pro kočku.

Our aunt bake every year Christmas cake,
we don't grumble, at least we have food for cat.

2. Bez prskavek tvrdil Slávek
na Štědrý den nelze být
a pak táta s minimaxem
zavlažoval byt.

"We cannot be without sparklers
on Christmas Eve", Slavek said
and then dad with fire-extinguisher
irrigated flat.

Tyhle ryby neměly by maso míti samou kost,
říká táta vždy, když chvátá na pohotovost.

These fish should not have meat full of bones,
dad says everytime, when he rushes to ER

3. Jednou v roce na Vánoce
strejda housle popadne,
jeho vinou se z nich linou
tóny záhadné.

Strejdu vida děda přidá „Neseme vám noviny,“
čímž prakticky zničí vždycky večer rodinný.

4. A když sní se,co je v míse,
televizor pustíme,
v jizbě dusné všechno usne
k blaženosti mé.

Mně se taky klíží zraky, bylo toho trochu moc,
máme na rok na klid nárok, zas až do Vánoc.

Lo, How a Rose E're Blooming

Feist:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKdknla37js

Lo, how a Rose e'er blooming
From tender stem hath sprung!
Of Jesse's lineage coming
As men of old have sung

It came, a flow'ret bright,
Amid the cold of winter
When half spent was the light.
Isaiah 'twas foretold it

The rose I have in mind,
With Mary we behold it,
The Virgin Mother kind.
To show God's love aright,

She bore to men a Saviour,
When half spent was the night.
O flow'r, whose fragrance tender

With sweetness fills the air,
Dispel in glorious splendour
The darkness ev'ry where.

True man, yet very God,
From sin and death now save us,
And share our ev're load.

good afternoon ali ! hope you are having a fine day.

so for tolkien fans here, are any of you planning to watch the hobbit in the new HFR (48fps) format? i’m really excited to try that – i’ve read a lot of reviews –negatives & positives so am so curious as to how the experience will be like.

Mary said...

Ali,
Good afternoon. Did you get to see your new niece and is she absolutely adorable? Of course, have you ever heard anyone admit that someone's baby was anything but adorable even though we've all seen those not so cute ones.

Parker,
I was not a fan of LOTR so I doubt I would like the Hobbit. Whenever Mr PL is watching any of those movies I run, especially the last with that interminable battle. Sorry, not on my Must-See list.

Kami said...

Parker, I am dying to see the Hobbit. I am a huge LOTR fan, the movies.

Ali, how is your precious niece?

Have a good day everyone one, I am going to go and wait on a delivery and if it goes the way these things normally go, the I will be waiting all day long.

Kami said...

ok please remove one of the ones in the last post I don't feel like fixing it. lol

Annie said...

Ali: Congratulations Aunty Ali. :) I became an aunt in September.

PL: :) I think a majority of people would rather walk over hot coal than to dare say anything than a baby is beautiful.

I'm not excited by The Hobbit either but that may change as it gets closer to opening.
There are quite a few other films I'm looking forward to more.

Parker and Pam H:
With the man that was pushed onto the subway .......So many witnesses and as the man was strugglung to get back on the platform, people were taking pictures and video.
There was another incident, also on the subway where a woman fell into a deep sleep and a man had his hand up her skirt and was sexually assaulting her, again fellow passengers videotaped this and posted it on the internet!

ali mac said...

KAMI, PL and ANNIE Yes my Niece is gorgeous obviously lol she is the image of my SIL with a lot of blonde hair :)

PL yes I've seen a few odd looking newborns, but none that are related to me of course lol

This is the fourth girl grandchild in a row for our side of the family!! girl power all the way.

ali mac said...

PARKER did I see somewhere that the new format was making people feel nauseous? or did I imagine that lol

parker said...

@PL and Annie, reminds me of a seinfeld episode that i was watching recently. the one where they were visiting the hamptons to see a baby – and elaine, who was kinda flirting with the baby’s doctor, is thrilled to be called “breathtaking” by him, until he uses the same word to describe the baby, who everybody thought was ugly but no one wanted to say except the 4 main characters :) … not that I’m saying your niece isn’t adorable ali mac :)

parker said...

@Annie, that subway story was really awful – i only saw a glimpse of the video while it was being reported on the nightly news but i can’t believe that no one helped. for people to be taking a video while he was about to be killed – it’s so heartless … and it’s christmas season :(
i saw an old episode of “law & order: svu” where a woman was assaulted right inside a NY subway & thought that can’t be possible in real life but your story about the woman being assaulted while other passengers watch & took vids just proves that it happens … are people so indifferent?

didn’t NY just pass a good samaritan law that could land those who watched & took vids, instead of helping, in jail?

parker said...

@Kami, i'm a big fan too so can’t wait to see it !

@ali, yes that’s what some of the reviews i’ve read are saying – that it takes a bit of getting used to because the higher frame rate has a speed-up effect that might cause headaches esp when a character is up close and moves. they say that it feels even more like you’re actually in the scene itself. there’s a lot of critics who don’t like it. i’m just really curious to see what everyone is talking about.

@Holy, i’m impressed that jlaw is being touted as a serious contender/winner for best actress against chastain. haven’t seen silver linings playbook yet & am interested to watch it. also got my fingers crossed that kristen gets nominated. the competition is fierce but just being nominated would be a big deal already. lincoln is next on my list this weekend, then the hobbit, OTR, les mis, zero dark thirty (really curious how they film the waterboarding scene cos i heard it took 15 mins of the film – saw it once in an episode of spooks & it wasn’t easy to watch) … gosh so many movies, so little time :)

Hi everyone.

ali mac – congratulations on your new niece. I’m sure she is a welcome and beautiful addition to the family.

DK – thanks for playing “Lo How a Rose”. I wasn’t familiar with Feist’s version so it was nice to hear something new.

Hope – I’m glad that all is well. It wasn’t really a girl band per se. We just sang with acoustic guitar and it was pretty “uncool”, but great fun. My friends were all pretty talented and we loved what we were doing.

Olivia, Muse and DK – glad you liked Holly. She is a true artist. Olivia – I’m sorry you couldn’t hear the other video because I think you would have liked it. It’s hauntingly beautiful. DK – you’re right. “Siren” is a really good description.

Annie – I used to love to skate at outdoor rinks when I was a kid. My friends and I used to go out each night, even in the freezing cold. I don’t think I could even stand up any more, much less make my way around the rink. The will is there, but not the ability anymore. What’s this about a $1000 sundae??

parker – you are a lady on a mission with all of your movies lined up. I saw a trailer for the Hobbit when I saw BD2 but I’m afraid it isn’t drawing me in. I’ll have to rely on you to give us a movie review.

Kami – hope your delivery went well today – for a change.

PL – Mr. PL has definitely taught people well at the hospital. LOL. It reminded me of a time when my friend was stopped for speeding. She purposefully mentioned that her husband was a cop thinking that this would get her off with only a warning, but it had the opposite effect. The cop not only gave her a ticket, but also a lecture, saying that as a wife of police officer she should have known better. LOL.

Hey Ho Kenzz!!

Sorry for the long comment, folks.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Kenzz - no it is some girl here but it doesn't surprise me there would be more than one. I hope they are fake for ratings although I know some people that would do that - I avoid relationship talk with them like the plague.

@Freddie - Hey

@DK - Hey

@Holy - hmm I guess the Q&A is after the movie - I doubt she will be there before because they have her working overtime on the promo's plus the screening and after party tomorrow. I guess the line to get in is long - really long. Guild members there I guess to vote as well

Freddie, my delivery went wonderfully, and now it is safely hidden away, waiting for Christmas eve. I asked a friend of mine to help me come up with a plan to surprise my husband with it, and she had some really good ideas. So IF I can pull this off he will be so happy.

PL lol I loved the story about the lady at the hospital telling you to tell Mr. PL that she was doing her job. lol

parker said...

@Freddie, the $1000 grand opulence sundae at serendipity 3 is an obscenely expensive ice cream sundae. it’s described as …

“5 scoops of the richest Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream infused with Madagascar vanilla and covered in 23K edible gold leaf, the sundae is drizzled with the world’s most expensive chocolate, Amedei Porceleana, and covered with chunks of rare Chuao chocolate, which is from cocoa beans harvested by the Caribbean Sea on Venezuela’s coast. The masterpiece is suffused with exotic candied fruits from Paris, gold dragets, truffles and Marzipan Cherries. It is topped with a tiny glass bowl of Grand Passion Caviar, an exclusive dessert caviar, made of salt-free American Golden caviar, known for its sparkling golden color. It’s sweetened and infused with fresh passion fruit, orange and Armagnac. The sundae is served in a $300 baccarat Harcourt crystal goblet with an 18K gold spoon to partake in the indulgence, served with a petite mother of pearl spoon and topped with a gilded sugar flower by Ron Ben-Israel.”

oh and you get to keep the baccarat glass & gold spoon … i read recently that a couple treated their son to one of these for his 16th birthday – ludicrous.

I bet the people you follow were disappointed she wasn't there.

It's funny how when she's not really pregnant people will believe she is but I bet when the time comes that she really will be then people won't believe it.

Let's see how long it takes for that to be a new topic on the webloids.

Doesn't K have more OTR stuff tomorrow ?
At least she has a while before she has to go back to NY.

Ginger with a Soul said...

@Pam - they were but they were more worried about her being sick. Garrett and Walter sang her praises though

It is already the topic - they started with it this week but this will hit a whole new level - I mean a lot of people think she is at this point anyway.
